In this exploration/adventure game, you play Frankenstein's Creature, a being with no memory and past. At the start of the game you know neither Good nor Evil, you are a blank soul in an adult body. By exploring the world, you will experience your emotions, develop and write the first pages of your story. When confronted with mankind, there will be no way to escape the question of your origins: Who abandoned you in this world? Hunted by this question The Wanderer: Frankenstein's Creature will take you on an adventure throughout Europe. This one made me feel all kinds of ways and was beautifully depressing. I've never seen a game with this concept and I'm glad I gave this a chance. It's quite short but I don't think it needed to be any longer because it was quite adept at telling a powerful story anyway, full of complicated emotions and some difficult choices (I only did one playthrough of this game but i suspect that different choices give you different results). It was very hard emotionally to play as the "monster", who is curious, and intelligent, and caring, and just wanted to find acceptance and love but instead found rejection at every turn because of his appearance. I won't spoil it any more because I think this one needs to be experienced fully by knowing almost nothing about it before going in. The art style is very simple with little fine detail but it still looks beautiful. A work of art and made me feel all kinds of feelings.

I wish there was a neutral review option, so it has to be negative. This game is incredibly beautiful but this pales in comparison to its clunkiness and some incredibly obscure minigames. For anyone stuck on the steel door puzzle - it's very easy to miss the highlighted names in one of the things you interact with and this is how you progress.

The movement feels (frustratingly) too slow and the game would be much better if you could do 1.5x or 2x speed to play through it as this would still give you time to appreciate the art. It is a very interesting take on the classic and while I was curious about seeing how different choices would play out, there is absolutely no way I am playing this game again to find out. It has fantastic originality and an unexpected choice of epilogue

I leaned into the story easily, and the visuals were captivating. Narrative allows you to create your own monster, as if you were Dr. Frankenstein.
You either end up playing as a deeply misunderstood gentle giant or a hateful and vengeful creation. It isn't an authentic retelling of Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, but it is charming nonetheless.

The Wanderer: Frankenstein’s Creature ist ein klassisches Beispiel dafür, dass ein durchschnittliches Spiel mit einigen Schwächen durch gutes Storywriting und eine starke Präsentation aus dem Mittelmass herausgeholt werden kann.

Im Kern ist es ein Story-Adventure mit kleinen Puzzles und wenigen Minispielen. Rein spielerisch ist das alles nichts Besonderes und insgesamt bewegt sich das Spiel im unteren Mittelfeld. Es ist kein reiner Walkingsimulator, aber auch weit entfernt von einem echten Adventure. Dazu kommt, dass sich das Spiel stellenweise ziemlich zieht, mit längeren Laufpassagen.

Grundsätzlich sind diese aber verschmerzbar, weil genau diese Passagen Teil des Storytellings sind. Die Geschichte dreht sich um die berühmte Kreatur aus „Frankenstein“, legt den Fokus aber ganz auf deren Perspektive und ihr Erleben. Und genau das macht das Spiel hervorragend. Und es ist einfach tolles Spieldesign, wenn Gameplay und Storytelling so eng ineinandergreifen wie das gerade zu Beginn des Spiels der Fall ist. Und man sei gewarnt: Das Ganze ist eine ziemlich traurige Geschichte, die emotional mitnimmt. Aber genau das zeigt, wie stark das Writing ist.

Getragen wird das alles von einer wunderschönen, handgezeichneten Grafik, die einen sehr eigenen Stil hat und das Geschehen perfekt untermalt. Dasselbe gilt für den tollen, melancholischen Soundtrack.

Positiv ist auch, dass das Spiel den Spieler an einigen Stellen vor Entscheidungen stellt, die Auswirkungen aufs Ende haben. Aber genau hier liegt auch der grösste Schwachpunkt: Es gibt keine individuelle Speicherfunktion, keine Levelauswahl, keine Möglichkeit, zu einer Entscheidung zurückzuspringen. Wer eine andere Route sehen will, müsste das Spiel komplett neu starten und das mehrmals. Das ist aufgrund des gemächlichen Tempos doch viel zu mühsam und ein klarer Minuspunkt. Wer aber damit zufrieden ist, einfach ein einzelnes Ende einer berührenden Geschichte erlebt zu haben, der bekommt in rund zwei Stunden ein sehr interessantes, tiefgründiges Storyerlebnis.

Fazit: Für Fans von Storyspielen, die mit langsamem, ruhigem Gameplay und ernsten Themen etwas anfangen können, eine klare Empfehlung.

Honestly, I want to recommend this game, but because of the strange pacing and frustrating 'puzzles' I can't. I really like the soundtrack and the visuals (except the extreme white in the beginning which really hurt my eyes). Overall, however, the game left me unsatisfied and frustrated. I think it would have been better if it was just an original concept and not based on Frankenstein at all. As a result, I can't recommend it unless you get it extremely cheap or free and have some time to spare.

I feel so cool finishing it before Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein came out

First of all I've never read about Frankenstein original book or watched any adaptation before, this game is my first actual exposure of this story(and it did GREAT) it also helped me understand more when I was watching the film this month

The most memorable, eye-opening, brain-altering moment gotta be the one where the creature crouched down to drink water and I got jumpscared by a huge corpse-like face on the screen, then the game revealed it later that the face was ours. Because normally anytime the audience get to experience this story, we experience it from the creature's perspective so it's harder to emphasize with 'other people' when they got scared of the creature. Like I still feel fond and adored the creature just the same, but now I feel like I can understand the other perspective better as well

Did I love the game ? Yes. Did I also cry my eyes out at the end ? Absolutely.

Everything about this game is absolutely beautiful. The visuals, the story, the soundtrack.

But it is Frankenstein's story and will stay, to me, one of the saddest stories there is out there. And this game really caught onto that, telling the story from the creature's point of view, instead of the creator's.

Get ready to spend an emotional 2 hrs on a beautiful, musical, watercolor looking/ text / mouse only /choices matter {?} game. It is a walking story, where you can choose how you react to the environment and characters with a few mini games to complete but since there is only 1 save and you have to play the whole game again to see the choice changes, I only got through 1 ending which was very poignant. Dear devs - I would LOVE to play it again but with chapters so I could see how the other choices matter.

两个小时左右的时间能过完全程所以说整体流程非常短的了
美工音乐毫无疑问的梦幻治愈
但故事并非治愈

缺点

由小说《弗兰肯斯坦》改编的游戏

但是由于该游戏汉化非常的垃圾不加额外汉化mod前提下对剧情对话理解有一定的影响已经阅读过原小说了玩家来说或许体验感会稍微好那么一些
本游戏玩家由怪物视角去体验旅程感觉这真的是改编的最棒的地方不涉及剧透所以就过多讲述了反正流程很短在前期有剧情接入的时候就可以考虑是退款还是继续啃故事情节了

有选项但是没有存档没有二刷以至于不太清楚是否影响最后结局走向还是因为稀碎的汉化所以那两个选项看起来区别完全不知道会影响到什么（。有点无奈了

期待以后汉化优化一下吧
即便汉化表达磕磕绊绊但最后结局的时候让我久久不能平复真的可以来体验一下

The Wanderer: Frankenstein's Creature is a visually stunning experience that reimagines Mary Shelley's classic through beautiful watercolor-style artwork. Despite encountering a frustrating bug with the human children section (the third child wouldn't join the others, forcing me to restart that chapter), I found myself drawn in by the game's melancholic beauty and atmospheric presentation.

While the writing didn't particularly grab me (it felt rather dry at times despite the poetic aspirations) the overall vibe of the game more than made up for it. Each scene feels like stepping into a living painting. The way colors bleed into and out of the world as the creature experiences different emotions is genuinely striking, and the soundtrack perfectly complements the lonely, wandering journey. I've been inspired to listen to a sad piano playlist as I write this.

It's a short experience (about 2 hours), which I appreciate. It doesn't demand more of your time than the experience has to offer. If you're looking for something pretty to look at with a contemplative, artistic approach to a familiar story, this delivers. Best grabbed on sale given the price point, but worth experiencing for the art direction alone.

先看过玛丽·雪莱的小说，相比原著游戏在改编上比较眼前一亮的是完全从怪物的第一视角出发，放弃了弗兰肯斯坦及他人的旁观讲述，这样反而更能有代入感地共情孤独、感受偏见、体验抉择上的煎熬。[b]「谁才是真正的怪物？」或者说，谁才有资格讲述真相与痛苦？[/b]当视角变换后再重新回归到这个命题，也可能会有不一样的切入点。另外最后玛丽·雪莱代替了其笔下弗兰肯斯坦出场有些意外，不知道算不算是一种致敬和彩蛋。

视觉上像行走的油画，色彩运用极具表现力，画面色调很美地映射了怪物的遭遇与情绪。
而比较明显的缺点有：

街の人たちに石を投げつけられる悲しき生き物を体験出来るゲーム。
こういうゲームは好きな方なんだけど、最後までやり抜くと中々やるせない気分になりました。景色が美しいのだけが慰め。
機械翻訳だがその無機質さが世界観にたまたまマッチしている。ただ最初はバグかと思ったほど詰みそうになる箇所もあるので注意が必要。他の方のレビューにもある通り金庫にはご用心。
内容はともかくセールで100円台、手早く最後まで行けるので中々の掘り出し物です。

I got this game recommended to me because I'm obsessed with the Frankenstein 1831 novel, and I adore it. It diverges from the book pretty extremely after the encounter with the cottage people but I'm not complaining because they take it in some interesting directions. The story is really well done, and the aesthetics are through the roof. I'm in love with every artistic decision, and the soundtrack is absolutely phenomenal. I haven't gotten a lot of endings yet but those that I have are incredibly devastating. I cried.
It's not without its faults, however, the worst of which being the controls. The titular creature does not control very well. It's like blindly trudging through mud. For me, this kinda discourages me from the idea of replaying it over and over to get every ending. There's also not a lot of direction in some parts, which left me confused as to what I was supposed to do during certain puzzles.
However, all in all, it's a beautiful game. I cannot emphasize enough how gorgeous this game is in every artistic department. It's just the gameplay that throws me off. 7/10 from me overall, but in terms of just aesthetics it's an easy 10/10.

世界にのんびり浸かれる大人の絵本だと思えば悪くない。
セールで安くなってるならお勧め。
友達や家族とあーだこーだ言いながら一緒に選択肢選んで、普段の生活では見えない価値観の違いをすり合わせて楽しんだり、一人で内省しながらたまに思い出して読み返したりしてみたいかな。
なので繰り返し色々な選択肢を選んで分岐をやり直したいんだけど、どっちかってと映像作品を作りたかったのかな？ってな不親切なゲームなので、現代人のテンポに合ってないと思う。急いで全エンディング＆エピソードコンプとかしたい人には嫌われるかも。
後翻訳が意味不明というか、日本語で細かなニュアンスを表現できていないので台無しにしてる可能性大。英語でプレイしたら感想すごく変わりそう。

本棚においといてたまに取り出して読み返す一冊みたいな作品。

The game didn't disappoint [strike] as is usually the case with book adaptations [/strike] allowing the original book's story to shine trough this unique narrative. The music and style are truly stunning. I would recommend this game to everyone, even those who have already read the book, [spoiler] one of the endings allows you to see what happens if the wanderer makes companion for himself, which he he had tried to achieve in the book [/spoiler]. Overall, 10/10 short, but memorable wandering experience.

Petit jeu contemplatif qui retrace l'histoire de la créature de Frankenstein. Peut se jouer qu'a la souris donc trés chill. La durée de l'experience est suffisante et l'immersion est là.
Il y a des choix possibles à certains moments ,je ne sais pas si ça change beaucoup l'histoire mais ça permets de nous mettre à la place du protagoniste.

最初是被安利来玩的，先试着玩了移动端打通了一周目，通关以后就迫不及待写了测评，每个章节都有涉及一点XD
这次趁打折补票了~就把当初写的测评也搬过来啦。

确实是非常非常好的游戏，流程很短一个多小时就能通关，但后劲很大。
整个游戏过程我都沉浸在里面，跟着主角一起感受孤独...太痛了QAQ！！！
不懂我打的第一个结局《沉默》算不算是be，唉明明一路上都有尽力在做好事了。
之后会试着打其他结局的…但在其他节点中，选择复仇和杀戮，就算是正确的吗？我不这么认为。

最开始只是单纯的探索来着，到了小树的解密那里突然觉得bgm真的很棒，马上就带上耳机仔细听了听，真是庆幸没有错过这么美的音乐。

自然

非常喜欢这种大自然的场景，但是被一条蛇咬了以后，一切都不一样了，不仅仅是黯淡下来的画面…"主角"的心情好像也发生了变化，这就是游戏里最初的恶意吗。
看到了尸体，没有去吃，因为感觉会发生一些不好的事。

人类

初遇到人类小孩的时候，"主角"应该是很开心的，但是当被大人发现攻击的时候，氛围变得压抑了呢，明明"主角"什么都没有做。
我没有选择伤害他们。

家庭

"主角"带着对人类好奇的心情探索书上的知识并沉醉其中，
四季更迭的画面是我游戏中最喜欢的一个场景了，很漂亮。

当"主角"终于鼓起勇气向家人坦白，希望他们能够接纳自己，但还是失败了…明明他也尽自己的努力帮助了他们。
好像已经没有回旋的余地了，但我还是不愿意伤害他们…"主角"逃走了。

"主角"在水中看到了自己的样子，痛苦万分，"这就是我被惧怕的理由吗？"

花园

最开始我并没有明白游戏让我们要做什么，只是不解的在花园里闲逛，捡东西。但是当我把石像放到了中央的台子上，我才好像明白了什么。
"主角"搭建了一个石像，他很孤独，孤独到抱住了石像，好像做了一场梦，这只是他的老朋友。但是梦总是要醒来的。石像掉下来，散落了一地，画面又暗淡下来了。让人觉得更加压抑。

上帝

"主角"爬上了山顶，他以为他也是值得被救赎的，并按照命令做完了一切，画面变得梦幻起来。
信徒都来到了这里，他们热情的迎接我。并呼唤我出来，但我的心里却有不好的预感，如果见到"主角"的样子，他们会不会逃跑呢。

果不其然，他们又被"主角"吓到了，哪怕"主角"也是诚恳的信徒，但他们视他为魔鬼。这就是宣扬博爱的信徒们吗？哎，人类再一次伤害了他。

勤奋

"主角"知道了自己的身世，如此离奇，我很想搞清这一切，于是去探索下一个城镇。

起源

一个不太简单的解密，谁知道竟然要在笔记里找名字。稍微花了点时间，也知道了一点信息。"主角"的父亲竟然是一个如此疯狂的人吗。
成功进入了秘密房间，阳光照进来的一瞬间，"主角"知道了一切的事情。
画面有一种说不上来的震撼，和荒谬。
这只是场疯狂的人体实验吗？
"主角"探索的真相…只是这样？

这里可以选择要不要让"主角"也创造一个生物，也许这会结束他的孤独。
但我犹豫了很久还是放弃了，
答案就是不想让主角也深陷这可怕的命运中。

庆典

"海女神"接纳了"主角"，并说他是她的波塞冬，为他戴上了王冠。这何尝不是另一个悲剧的开始呢。
海岛上的人们很热情，与他一起欢度庆典，一派欢快的气息，这也许是这游戏里"主角"最快乐的时候…他真的以为自己被接纳了。

那个人

庆典结束了，我想离开这里，我不想让"主角"伤心。但是最让人震惊的是"主角"并不想走，他凭借自己的意识抵抗着我的行为，原来我一直不是"主角"，他始终是一个孤独的怪物。

我最终还是让他去和"海女神"说了话。
"主角"好像沉浸在幸福中了，我无法做出我的选择，只能选择他想要的。

"海女神"和那些人的畸形面孔的真实样貌只是一群戴着面具的人类。"主角"再次受到了伤害，他知道"海女神"不可能接受真实的他……终于，这场关于"爱情"的悲剧落下帷幕。

我找到了"主角"父亲的小屋，却早已经人去楼空。

"主角"写下了自己的经历，决定接受死亡，但我不想让这一切这么结束。我试着选择让他活下去的选项。最终，"主角"决定去见造物主，为什么要让自己的一生如此悲痛。

造物主

"主角"见到了造物主，一位女士，她说，她的父亲并不存在，这只是一部小说。
"主角"恨透了造物主，对他而言，她是恶魔，是撒旦，是她让自己拥有了如此荒诞可笑的一生，自己做尽了好事，但从未得到过救赎。
她说。让"主角"自己写下这个故事的后续，她给了我选择的机会。
是选择接受命运，还是抹去自己。

我觉得…抹去自己，存档也会消失，这或许也是一个be的结局，我最终选择了接受命运的另一个结局。
但这依旧是be。

沉默（结局）

"主角"什么都没说，无力对抗命运，就只能接受他了。在大雪中，他孤独的走向了死亡。
这太悲伤了，无论是我，还是"主角"。

Já é um presente poder experimentar uma adaptação de Frankenstein que seja fiel ao livro original. Assim como a obra-prima de Mary Shelley, este jogo nos mostra a história de uma criatura bela, nascida como uma tábula rasa que tão facilmente aprendeu a amar quanto aprendeu a odiar, nos mostrando o trágico destino de um filho abandonado pelo pai, negado a possibilidade de viver na companhia de um semelhante. Mas esse jogo consegue ir além disso, recompensando o jogador paciente com uma trilha sonora incrível e uma direção de arte impecável.
Recomendo para qualquer amante da obra magnífica que é Frankenstein, mas também acredito que seja uma boa apresentação para aqueles que nunca leram o clássico da literatura, e querem conhecer a criatura de Frankenstein como algo a mais que um monstro.

다양한 언어를 지원하면서 꼭 한국어만 빠진 부분은 매우 아쉬우며 이러한 영향으로 게임을 100프로 즐기긴 어려웠다.

짧은 플레이 타임의 게임임에도 플레이어 선택에 따라 선 악으로 나뉘다 보니 해석 한번 잘못하면 루트가 교차해 버리니 나는 구글 번역기로 플레이해서 일단 선(이라 썻다만 선이 맞긴한가 싶다.)으로 플레이해서 엔딩을 봤다.

사운드와 그림체가 아기자기한 느낌을 줬다만 언어라는게 100% 즐기지 못하다 보니 많이 반감되어 무척 아쉬웠기에 제값주고 사기 보단 할인기간에 구매해야 그나마 제값주고 샀다는 느낌이 들지 싶다.

-This isn't a horror story. It's a poem, an ode to sensitivity. Discovering what surrounds us through the eyes of a child. It's a story full of tenderness, but since humanity is shaded with gray, life brings its share of sadness, fear, and despair. Thus, the creature will experience moments of hope, joy, and love, but also difficult moments, and the inevitable end that awaits every living being. I must admit, it moved me.
-Graphics are beautiful, like a painting coming to life before my eyes.
-And the music...the music is a delight.
-The gameplay is simple: you use the mouse to move the creature, and sometimes you make choices.
-There are 5 possible endings.

-Some players had bugs.
-The normal price is to high, IMO. I picked up this game on sale out of curiosity, because it's not every day you can get a game developed by ARTE, and I liked it.
-You can't select a chapter. If you want to experience other endings, you have to replay the game (or watch a youtube video...).

El juego es bonito pero me hizo dejarlo por 3 cosas:
-El juego no te deja guardar cuando quieras.
-El juego no te deja saltar o adelantar las escenas.
-A su vez las interacciones no tienen aviso lo cual hace una mala toma de decisiones.
-Glitches/bugs.

Mi caso: Tras unas largas escenas se nota que los personajes tenían que realizar una acción (literalmente lo anunciaba) pero por un bug del juego se quedaron parados así que tuve que empezar desde el último punto de guardado y comerme todas las escenas de nuevo.

Anteriormente había cazado un conejo a mano pero ya que estaba repitiendo las escenas justo use la trampa que había para hacerlo correctamente. Cual es mi sorpresa que usar la trampa no es para cambiarla de posición o similar ¡sino para llevarla vacía dando así un mal final a la escena! Desde luego no iba a esperar otra vez a todas las largas escenas una tercera vez para volver a ese punto así que lo desinstalé...

Wunderschön, traurig und tiefgründig – absolute Kaufempfehlung!

The Wanderer: Frankenstein’s Creature ist ein außergewöhnliches Spiel, das mich emotional sehr berührt hat. Die visuelle Gestaltung ist wunderschön und unterstreicht perfekt die melancholische Stimmung der Geschichte. Es geht um große Themen wie Gott, Liebe, Einsamkeit und den Wunsch, irgendwo dazuzugehören – all das wird auf ruhige, poetische Weise erzählt.

Das Spiel ist eher kurz, ich war relativ schnell durch, aber für mich war es jeden Cent wert – vor allem im Sale. Es gibt verschiedene Enden, was den Wiederspielwert erhöht. Wer emotionale, ruhige Erlebnisse ohne Kämpfe sucht, wird hier definitiv fündig.

Fazit: Ein kleines Kunstwerk, das nachwirkt. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die Spiele mit Geschichte und Tiefe mögen.

This elegant and thoughtful reimagining of one side of Mary Shelley’s great novel, told entirely from the perspective of Victor Frankenstein’s creation (in this game known as ‘the wanderer’), is a revelation. It somehow stays entirely true to the spirit of the source material while simultaneously expanding on some of its main themes. Likewise, it zooms in and extrapolates on some plot details, and fleshes out some aspects of the ‘the wanderer’s’ character, building upon the work of the novel in humanising the pain-addled creature. As with the novel, it is a narrative about the limits and implications of creation; of the insatiable human thirst for knowledge, and the dangerous ground this innate drive leads us to; the desperate human need for love and understanding, and the deep loneliness at the heart of all sentient existence; the ‘Othering’ of those who do not fit into societal norms; and the unchristian behaviour of some christians. The game manages to shed new light, and new perspectives, on all of these themes, deeply engaging you in each through the eyes of the wanderer, whose bitter experiences of human behaviour hit hard as you role-play through his painful intellectual awakening. A video game is the perfect medium to experience this, to feel with ‘the Other’ what is it to have no place in the world, and no-one to love or be loved by. The watercolour-style art is stunning and deftly used to help tell the story. The opening section is especially noteworthy in this regard: blinding whiteness, and sketchy details reflect the wanderer’s awakening into consciousness as you grope about trying to find your bearings in a strange world. And then, gradually, splashes of colour appear as the creature’s mind adjusts to the sensory overload of the natural world he’s contemplating. A word here for the brilliant character design of the wanderer, and the well-executed isometric viewpoint, which allows the camera to swoop in and out at dramatic moments. The music and sound design supports all this brilliantly, helping to build the emotional impact of the wanderer’s discoveries. In terms of gameplay, it is essentially a walking-simulator with choices that really do impact upon the ending(s). I played through twice and got two wildly different endings, each one deeply-engaged with Shelley’s text, and offering exciting new vistas of possibility for the narrative and its characters. The game flows beautifully, aside from one section, which still makes sense from a narrative point of view. However, this is a deeply impressive piece of culture, once again showing what games can do, in this case, re-engaging one with a literary text in exciting, thought-provoking and deeply empathetic new ways.

The Wanderer: Frankenstein's Creature is not a game. It's a kind of book with artistic pictures and an intellectual, mostly sad story. The theme is actually literature. So I can only recommend it to French people who are interested in literature and who have already read some of the books mentioned in the non-game. Also, people should have no problems with ambivalently portrayed Christianity. I'm not a Christian, and I wondered what the authors of the game were trying to tell me, because Christianity is mentioned a lot. I don't know if that's supposed to be a critical attitude towards Christianity or a critical attitude towards Christians. I certainly don't recognise myself in it. I played the game in German and realised that it is not fully translated, and sometimes very badly translated. Which surprises me, as Arte is a Franco-German television channel. The playtime of my first playthrough was under three hours. I played two endings in those three hours, both of which were very depressing. One ending felt more like a bug than an ending. It was very unsatisfying. I had seen a video on the internet where the player had been given a different ending. As there is only one save, I had to play through the game again. But that went pretty quickly. I then got the same ending as the player in the video. This ending is more satisfying, even if it is not a particular highlight. There may be a fourth ending, but I'm not going to try it out.

Пустышка от начала и до конца. Иллюстрации (то есть окружение, фон и изменение природы) мыльные, увеличение к месту и не к месту, Монстр медленный, баги бесконечные, неверная камера (и построение локаций), что приводит к тыканью в границы экрана.

Последней каплей стал момент в доме со стариком и детьми, если в произведении это было кульминацией истории, ожиданием нечто прекрасного или ужасного, то в игре это пустое сидение на месте и кликанье по горящим точкам. Баг с виолончелью добил - игра не дала и шанса на ошибку, пропало окно ввода, Монстр завис, нет диалогов. Переигрывать сезоны - увольте, очередные 10 минут пустых диалогов (вы не знаете язык НПЦ) лучше заменить на 10 минут как сохнет краска, будет куда интереснее.

This game features a stellar art direction, so much so that it made me forget its simple gameplay. For nearly the entire duration of the experience, I was left speechless, my mouth gaping in awe. The art is so striking that it feels as if you can step directly into a beautiful landscape, rather than merely observing it from the outside. It’s pure beauty. Many AAA games wish they could look this good, but they never will because they lack the same amount of heart poured into their creation.

Another standout element of this game is its story and dialogue. While it tells a familiar story, it feels refreshingly new, as though the narrative is being told in a completely different way with a fresh voice.

The music and sound effects serve as the glue that holds everything together, seamlessly tying all the elements to perfection.

At first, the game was hard to get into because it started slowly, and the gameplay was minimal. However, the story, the art style, the sound design—basically everything that doesn’t directly relate to gameplay—is so perfect that it completely overshadowed the lackluster mechanics. In the end, the overall experience made me forget just how minimal the gameplay was.

The first few minutes are somewhat annoying if you dislike puzzle games. But after that, the game gets very nice and intresting, and follows the books rather well, while still giving you choices.

All in all it is a good game.

The one problem I have with it is that it falls victim to the falsity of beliving that Adam (Frankenstein's monster) is some kind of hulking monster in his looks.

Adam was created by the most beautiful bodyparts Dr. Frankenstein could find, and he looked very much like a stitched up angel.
The stiched up part was what humans feared of course.
But the way he is portrayed in modern fiction is so wrong it's not even funny.
He is meant to be unearthly beautiful.

That said, his looks have little impact on the game, and I am merely nitpicking here.

This game delivers exactly what it promises, and it's a very nice way to re-read the wonderful tale of Frankenstein in an interactive formate.

踏马的怎么做的这么好，把一个被人群排斥终其一生找不到归宿的怪物描绘的如此之深入。玩的时候不可避免地代入了。每次以为，这次就够了吧，到此为止，他受到的折磨已经够多了，留在这里吧。然后现实就给了我一巴掌又一巴掌，把我提起来扔到火堆烤透了再用铁锤敲敲打打最后还要用冷水滚一遍。
好痛苦啊好痛苦好痛苦，好久没有一个游戏引发我这么强烈的反应了，打到最后在bgm里喉咙堵着一块难以呼吸，写着这条评论的时候眼里不知不觉有了泪。不行我推荐所有人都来玩，所有人都应该受这份苦

基于原著改编的多结局点击互动叙事游戏，节奏把控和氛围渲染的能力很棒，特别是颜色、灯光和音效的运用技巧让人印象深刻！

加之本身就非常细腻的音乐和画面，把新生的喜悦、现实的残酷、追寻的迷茫、沉溺狂欢的目眩神迷和梦碎的悲怆绝望都表现得非常生动。

游戏表现形式和篇幅有限，在深度上或许无法与原著相提并论，但在感官上或许能带给玩家不一样的体验。

唯一的遗憾就是这个没打算改的中文机翻，简直就是沉浸感的大敌！

虽然文字本身较少，除却文字以外的表达也非常丰富，凑合也能玩下去，但有些翻译还是会直接影响到选择和分支，甚至故事的理解。

因此，如果无法游玩原版（法语）或其它较好的翻译版本，或是对于体验和文字表达追求较高，可能还是要考虑一下！（当然我觉得游戏本身还是很好的，可以等个折扣入手）

C'est cool d'avoir une vraie adaptation du livre, même si dû aux choix, certains passages prennent un peu de liberté on va dire... Par contre au départ c'est peu intuitif, et j'ai eut un p'tit bug au niveau de la ville coloré. Mais j'ai aimé quand même c'est assez tout doux !

根据弗兰肯斯坦小说改编，清新的手绘风格叙事冒险游戏。
给差评的原因是好评太多了外加我遇见了好几次bug，游戏本身中评。
一上来不知所谓以为是步行模拟器，总结下我的前几章：瞎子探路→重现音符→四处吃喝→跟娃踢球→偷偷猛学……
因为在踢球和猛学阶段遇到bug（一个是三个小孩有一个死活原地不动，没办法继续。另一个是拉完琴点选项没反应，问题是重开得回到章节前我重开两次还是放弃了），而且这个游戏引导不行，比如弹琴不知道音符是到哪个位置按，我以为是第一根线，导致判定全错，想重来又是得本章重开，音符也没说鼠标也可以点，总之类似的情况挺多，体验感不好，选择云完了后半截。
成就系统也没有，动力更缺。
可取之处：史低的话还行，美术和音乐还不错。

Ich hab mehrfach bitterlich geweint. Es ist wunderschön aber dennoch so emotional prägend. Es berührt einen sehr und darf meiner Meinung nach in einem Atemzug mit Gris, Journey, ABZU genannt werden <3 Das Ende ist lässt einen sprachlos zurück und in 9/10 Fällen werden auch da die Tränen rollen. Auch die Länge/Kürze ist absolut in Ordnung. Ich denke Mary Shelley wäre selbst auch begeistert davon.

모험가, 그리고 작가의 이야기: <프랑켄슈타인의 창조물>

단순한 포인트 앤 클릭 게임이며, 플탐도 단 2시간밖에 되지 않지만,
감정을 흔드는 이야기의 몰입도와 그를 따르는 음악과 배경 모두 너무나 아름다웠던 게임.
게임을 하는 동안, 여러가지의 선택지가 나오며, 그에 따라 엔딩이 대략 6가지로 나뉜다.

간단한 플레이 방식과 잠깐 빠져들 수 있는 여운이 있는 게임을 원한다면, 추천.

Videojuego de corte narrativo, basado libremente en Frankenstein de Mary Shelley. Jugaremos como la criatura, que deambula por el mundo sin recuerdos, y que busca respuestas sobre el cómo y el porqué de su creación.
Nos encontramos ante una aventura grafica, tipo point and click, en la que destacan tanto sus bellas imagenes, como la música que acompaña durante toda la historia. Dos horitas de entretenimiento para aquellos que busquen una buena narrativa.

Это скорее иллюстрация, нежели игра.
Вариативности практически нет, мышкой кликаем по подсвеченным местам и продолжаем продвижение по сюжету. Максимум, что может сделать игрок - делать выбор уровня "позволить ли змее укусить оленёнка или вмешаться и спасти". Кроме изменения в паре эффектов и в звуке последствий у этого выбора не будет.
В качестве основы взята мысль показать всё происходящее глазами монстра - как он ничего не понимающий появляется на свет, осознает что это такое, что такое цвета, запахи и вкусы. Первый раз встречается с людьми, первый раз узнаёт, что такое ненависть и т.д.
Видно, что это художественный проект. В игре хороший арт и музыка. И при этом очень корявое управление, неочевидные места, где можно ходить а где нет. А потом видимо какой-то скрипт дал осечку и у меня просто все персонажи остановились и стало невозможно пройти дальше.

Резюме: можно попробовать, если хочется немного интерактивного инди-мультика с хорошей печальной атмосферой.

Tohle je opravdu skrytý poklad. Hra je to velmi hloubavá a nesmírně umělecky pojatá. Hrajete zde za zrovna probuzené Frankensteinovo monstrum, které vůbec neví co se děje a kde to je. Zažíváte s ním jeho objevování vlastní identity, "začleňování" do společnosti či jste svědkem těžkých chvil takového stvoření. Hra má více konců a záleží na vás, kam dojdete. Dílo je to smutné, krásné, zajímavé a hloubavé. Mám tyhle umělecky pojaté hry velmi ráda a pokud vy také s chutí do ní. Narazíte tak na nádherné scenérie, úžasný hudební doprovod a situace k zamyšlení.

A singular work in the medium, and particularly as an adaptation of Mary Shelley's original story. The gameplay isn't as expansive but it serves the need of the beautiful narrative, art, and music that is expertly woven together. The few puzzles that appear throughout the experience aren't overly challenging and do reward the player's exploration of the environments. Just an overall amazing game and I'm so glad I played it.

This walking simulator game is a haunting, artistic interpretation of Mary Shelley's gothic story, seen through the eyes of Victor Frankenstein's monster. Playing as the monster, players traverse through beautiful watercolour landscapes, each place further unraveling the horror, truth, and sorrow of the monster's existence. The musical score lends a lovely ambiance to the world and musical mini-game is a nice addition, especially as instruments used in hopes of connection with others. I found the ending (or, one of the endings if there are multiple) far more satisfying than the original tale. It's a very short game and can be completed in 1.5-2.5 hours -- and a good choice if you're looking for a more emotional or literary experience.

It is short(cca 1.5h) storytelling, linear(no exploring) game where clicking is only mechanic. The game has unique visual art style and good sound design, with interesting story to tell, where you can choose some different paths for the story to progress, with few puzzles in between. It is not bad game, but I feel this game could have been much more with its cool art style and vibe. And the price is kinda expensive if not bought on sale. Still a good game if you buy it on sale :)
