A challenging puzzle platformer inspired by games like Limbo and Badland.
A peaceful way of life in a small village in the mountains was thrown into disorder. Someone has kidnapped most of it’s residents. A couple of brave hearts tried to rescue their friends but none of them has returned. Little Toby didn’t want to just sit and wait so he decided to find them by himself. He went to the near deep forest but he soon realized this is just a beginning of a big adventure.

Весьма неплохо, не знаю о каких проблемах с производительностью многие пишут в отзывах, но на моём не самом уже свежем железе всё отлично играется на максимальных настройках в 200 Гц.
Игра действительно чем-то напоминает Limbo.
Тут присутствуют несложные паззлы, потайные комнаты и прочие соответствующие элементы.
Управление приятное, графика соответствует этому жанру, звуковое оформление приятное.
Хорошая игра, чтобы потратить на неё вечерок своего времени.

За три часа мне удалось пройти игру на все достижения и вызвала она у меня смешанные чувства, прямо как отзывы в стиме.
Начну с плюсов:
+ Графон мне понравился, приятное освещение и проработанный, как передний, так и задний план.
+ В первых локациях, где светило солнце, мне очень зашло внимание к мелким деталям и, в частности, наличие животных, реагирующих на появление игрока. Жаль, что такое было только в начальных уровнях. В целом вайб первых мест мне понравился больше всего.
+ Не слишком сложные головоломки, интуитивные.
+ Разная атмосфера на разных уровнях.
Теперь перейдем к минусам, их здесь в изабии, к сожалению:
- Оптимизация не самая лучшая. На моем мощном пк в некоторых локациях чувствовались микрофризы.
- Не самая приятная физика персонажа. Ожидаешь, что он зацепится или допрыгнет до определенного места, но ожидания рушатся.
- Частенько чертёнок застревал на углах, из-за чего приходилось переигрывать раунд. Один раз получилось так, что камера вылетела за пределы уровня и я увидел края задних планов :D
- Некоторые моменты конкретно выбесили, это индивидуально, конечно.
Ta hra je sračka, jestli čekáte něco ve smyslu Limba nebo Planet of Lana, tak smolík. Ta hra dělá všechno o několik řádů hůř. Je to blbost.
Short and simple platformer, nothing really stands out about it.
Crashes often at starting, and if you turn on/off controller when it's running. Still has bugs in it and rage baiting mechanisms that were funny at times but not worth it
I like the art style.

It's designed like a rage game that requires a lot of patience and trial & error. There are deadly things popping up everywhere without warning. Everything is dark and hard to see even with my monitor brightness at max. One section had platforms that were only barely visible. Has bugs including soft locks & slow-down that requires re-launching. Also, it has an uncapped framerate; this game doesn't need 600+ fps but it runs at it. Music is very lame with only a few notes on loop in some areas.

Gostei bastante da [b]atmosfera[/b], houve [b]momentos visuais e sonoros que capturam a tensão de forma elegante[/b]. Mas, para mim, o jogo sofre por um dilema: ele tenta evocar os grandes títulos do gênero (como [b]Limbo[/b]) e quase consegue em alguns trechos, mas cai em [b]comparações inevitáveis[/b].
As [b]partes de morte “surpresa”[/b] me incomodaram bastante — passei por situações em que morria por algo que não percebi, sem [b]pistas visuais razoáveis[/b], o que [b]quebra o ritmo[/b]. A [b]curta duração[/b] me deixou querendo mais. Para quem curte [b]jogos contemplativos, de plataforma/puzzle, sem pressa[/b], acho que vale — [b]especialmente em promoção[/b]. Mas [b]não é algo que revolucionará o gênero[/b].

很明显地能看出来这游戏是有limbo的很大的影子在的 这个个人感觉没什么其实
但是一没有引导 打开游戏前确实能在input那一栏应该看见移动方式 但是没有看见怎么办呢 也没有告诉你与场景物品互动键是什么 怎么让那些不知道或者说猜不出来的玩家去玩呢
二是游戏场景 和limbo一样 本游主角和平台基本都是黑白的 不过“敌人”的眼睛(或者说是反派一类的?我猜的)和背景是有颜色的 问题是一些黑色的平台 和可以与主角互动(例如能让主角站在上面)的平台是一模一样的 这导致根本分不清哪里能站哪里不能站 前景也是黑色的 而且有些还有些过大了 导致会遮挡游戏画面 真的很难受 特别难受 比我当时打limbo的时候还有难受 遂弃坑 (所以我只是玩了个开头 有些什么剧情上的优点一类的我也没法子说了)
但是音乐不错 背景美术应该也还行 还能挂卡
要是是免费的话就打好评了(毕竟都免费了口牙 也没有什么原则上的问题没必要啦) 但是不是 三十六块呢(虽说我应该是之前的之前打折三块六的时候买的吧) (哇哦现在还在打折呢) 所以也没办法喽(摊手)
总而言之瑜不掩瑕吧 如果真的很想买来试试推荐打折购买喵
Oyunun başlarında pek ısınamamıştım ama bitirdikten sonra biraz görüşüm değişti. Bir limbo, inside kadar iyi değil ama bu türü sevenler için oynanabilir bir oyun. 21 bölümden oluşuyor, oyun sonunda seçim yapıyorsunuz.

Все, що в цій грі варте уваги - це художнє/графічне оформлення рівнів і така-сяка атмосфера. Більше тут нема нічого, заради чого варто було б витрачати в ній свій час. Що ще запам'яталось:

[*] поганенький сюжет (до фінальної кат сцени зовсім не зрозуміло, що тут відбувається і чому я когось там наздоганяю)
[*] поганенький геймплей (є цікаві речі, а є щось не зовсім адекватне (як от приховані пастки. тобто єдиний варіант пройти пройти рівень це запам'ятати його після багатьох смертей))
[*] жахливі головоломки (їх і головоломками назвати важко, з величезною ймовірністю можна просто вгадати без роздумів. а над деякими і думати не хочеться)

Загалом, якщо дістати гру безкоштовно, то може й варто витратити 2-3 години на її проходження. Хоча б заради краси і атмосфери рівнів. Якщо повертаючись назад в часі - я б не купив її знову за 17 грн

Самый настоящий hidden gem. Если вам понравился LIMBO, то определенно стоит пройти эту игру. Она короткая, часа на 2-3, но увлекательная. Разнообразные ловушки, приятная "теневая" графика, хорошо подобранная музыка. Один раз был баг с неверной загрузкой чекпойнта и возможностью летать по всему уровню без повреждений, но перезапуск уровня решил проблему.

Un juego que intenta seguir la estela de [i]Limbo[/i] o [i]Inside[/i], pero que basa muchos de sus "puzles" en ensayo-error. No supone un desafío en absoluto. Además, apenas dura poco más de 2 horas.
I never thought much of this game. I guess I bought it because it reminded me of Limbo. I barely even played it. But my autistic son loves it. Go figure.
Estilo Limbo, Inside etc... Divertido, mas simplesinho, algo mais próximo de Limbo que achei ainda um pouco melhor!!

Absolute garbage.
The game so desperately wants to be Limbo but lacks the cleverness to the puzzles and any of the charm. Movement is sluggish, jumping too close to walls bugs out and you sometimes get stuck in scenery.
The puzzles are almost all trial-and-error where you can't see or possibly know about the things that are going to kill you until they kill you. This prevents any planning or forethought; you just keep trying slightly different things until something works.
The world lacks context and a sense of belonging, so rather than feeling like you are traversing an existing landscape you are traversing a set of challenges that only exist for the sake of being traversed.
Toby and the Secret Mine is by far the worst of this type of game I have ever played. It is fundamentally flawed at the deepest level. I do not recommend.
Рот целовал, кто придумал в финальном уровне типов, которые кидают гранаты. Ещё очень классно трясётся весь экран, когда едет снежная лавина, как будто сейчас уедет. Ну а в целом игра не плохая, сводный ребенок Limbo :D

Abgesehen von ein paar Bugs, die z.B. das Springen verhindern, ist es ein kleines Abenteuer mit verschiedenartigen Rätseln und Herausforderungen. Man wird langsam an die Spielmechanik herangeführt, wobei einem nichts erklärt wird und man selbst herausfinden muss, wie man springt oder Aufzüge betätigt. Hat man dies einmal herausgefunden, sind die meisten Passagen leicht zu bewältigen, bei manchen ist richtiges Timing gefragt. Unerwartete Tode durch versteckte Fallen sind keine Seltenheit, die Checkpoints sind jedoch sehr fair gesetzt, so dass man es immer wieder gerne probiert.

Plusem na pewno jest jej mroczny klimat. Nie brakuje w niej sekretów, więc warto zaglądać w każdy zakamarek. Gra niestety jest krótka, więc warto poczekać na przecenę.

Графіка виконана в приємному, трохи ретро-естетичному стилі, який чудово підкреслює атмосферу невідомості та відкриттів. Саундтрек доповнює загальне враження – музика створює відчуття спокою, яке контрастує з адреналіном від розгадування головоломок.
Геймплей гри поєднує дослідження, платформерні елементи та розумно інтегровані головоломки. Кожен рівень пропонує свій набір завдань, що змушує уважно вивчати оточення та експериментувати з різними підходами для просування вперед. I'm sure 99% of people don't read the reviews. So you may not know that Naruto can be a bit harsh sometimes. You may not know this, but Naruto also grew up without a father. In fact, he never met either of his parents and never had any friends.

Normally i let games stand on their own merit but in some cases you have to adress the elephant in the room. Limbo was a massively influential title at the time, it still is in some ways although INSIDE has overshadowed it nowadays. Still though, the fact remains that following Limbo's success an influx of games came to be trying to ride this wave. At best adding their own unique spin or at worst, as is the case with this game, copy it without understanding what made Limbo so great in the first place. Toby the secret mine is as the store page describes inspired by Limbo and thought that the instant death traps were that game's defining feature. They were not, they were part of the experience yes, but not the defining trait. That would be the ambience and sound design. Toby the secret mine thus wrongfully assumed that 2 hours of pure trail and error gameplay was the core hook. There's many places where this is bad but the snow area especially was egregious with literally invisible white-on-white traps. There's no creative puzzles or cool worldbuilding either just 2 hours of dying to unpredictable traps until you reach a clunky final fight out of nowhere that abruptly ends the game afterwards. This game is an exercise of pure frustration with very little redeeming qualities. Even the art has been done better in many other games such as eternal hope, typoman or silt. Go play any of those or any INSIDE inspired game as this is among the worst puzzle platformers in existance.

Старенький, до боли приятный памятью, индиплатформер головоломка с боковой прокруткой и чёрно-белой силуэтной графикой. Многие упомянули схожесть с Limbo. Ведь после выпуска появились отдельные, не менее успешные красивые её подражатели:Nihilumbra, Feist, Badland, (к числу неких относится наш Toby: The Secret Mine).
Чем порадовали, продолжили, сделали свои уникальные продукты нарисованных, таинственных, мрачных чёрных миров, в хорошем смысле залипающими задним фоном. Поразительно так как разработчик потратил долгое время для выпуска, вставил элементы загадок, столкнулся проблемами нехватки опыта в одиночку вауу.
Игра имеет свою сюжетную историю. Toby жил в безымянном городке, жителей которого однажды похищают красноглазые варвары. Он решает отправиться в опасное путешествие, чтобы спасти своих друзей. На пути предстоит преодолеть леса, пещеры, шахты, разные бури, смертельно опасные механизмы... Спойлерить не буду))

(есть во мне логика, мозги все же, ненавижу собак теперь xD)
Советую по скидке, 1-2 интересных часов вечером на ура
приколная игра как для меня игра класная и подойдет под как и задкор так и под сюжет .

the game is a visually charming platformer with simple puzzles, but it feels repetitive and lacks innovation.

Design minimaliste mais efficace, ambiance okay, mais les puzzle ne sont pas top et ça devient vite du die & retry, ce que je n'apprécie gère.
Simple platformer with +- 3 hours of gameplay.
Of course it is very similar to L-game, but it is less atmospheric and complicated(and feels MUCH cheaper). I think it will be good to play somewhere in the plane\train, where you do not really need to feel the atmosphere of the game. Music is decent sometimes, like ob levels after the snowy ones and one with the minecart. Talking about minecarts, floor with the railways is really bugged, so I had to restart this level multiple times. There are also other bugs as well as some strange hit- and texture-boxes. That lowers gameplay experience, but I didn't hate it, maybe bc it is really an amateur project, maybe bc I miss playing *IMBO.
Anyway, it is light and sometimes fun to play.
P.s. There is also two endings.... Like... why?
Im so stressful. Nothing special with a mechanic gameplay or main story. Forcing to look mysterious.

Единственный плюс - быстро проходится, но недостаточно.
Минусы:
- на скринах графика хоть и кажется хорошей, но она максимум средняя, а местами пиксели невероятно большие;
- головоломки не то что непонятны, их решения спрятаны и нужно биться во все углы, чтобы найти, где же рычаг или ящик;
- скам на стиль Лимбо;
- некоторые места сделаны специально так, чтобы ты умирал и как можно больше;
- застревание в текстурах и платформах;
- бесящие глисты на пустынном уровне;
- в последней локации черти кидают бомбы с такой точностью, что бомба аккурат прилетала так что я не мог увернуться никак, я от пил умер в 4 раза меньше раз чем от чертей.
Даже за такие копейки сомнительная покупка.

Кривоватое управление, очень много элементов спрятанных в бекграунде и очень неумелая работа со спецэффектами. Хотя в игре есть неплохой визуальный ряд, в игру местами очень неприятно играть.
I can't really recommend this game to anyone at full price. This game has some seriously floaty and unresponsive platforming and an achievement that really says it all. Die 100 times. In my time playing it for only half an hour I've died over 30 times so yeah maybe a skill issue on my part. However it's my belief that you should be weary of games that award you for dying to the game over an over again. That and the traps seem somewhat inconsistent with hit boxes making the die 100 times achievement very easily accomplished by just playing the game for about an hour. In short do not buy this game if you plan on having fun its just a horrible un-fun slog. I will finish the game but I cant imagine it gets much better near the end. I will update my review if it does but for now its a hard no at full price and even at a discount I would recommend you spend your money on something else.

Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

aunque en un principio pinta bien, es mas una demo con muchos niveles. A veces ponen puzzles por poner, sin mucho sentido. No le veo tampoco una progresión.

Ця гра просто якийсь кошмар, я її особисто пройти до кінця не зміг (лишалось десь пару рівнів)
По-перше, стиль дуже пародіює Лімбо, (і так, я знаю що гра захоплювалася Лімбо) і замість того, щоб зробити щось своє, получається тупа пародія.
По-друге, керування жахливе, відстань стрибка дуже важко передбачити, через що часто дохнеш. Можна було постаратися і нармальне керування зробити. Також тут чокнута і фізика, коли ти хочеш застрибнути на, допустим, якусь дошку, яка далеко від тебе, і ти мав би застрибнути, проте падаєш у прірву. Файно є!
По-третє, сюжет нікудишній, так я гру до кінця не пройшов, проте протягом гри ви точно нічого цікавого не знайдете. Також коли дивишся на антагоніста (такий самий, як і головний герой, тільки більший і з червоними очима) і як він тікає від тебе кожен рівень, то котитись зо сміху хочеться. Тобто анімація тут просто кошмарна.
І наостаток, "головоломки". Це взагалі головоломками назвати не можливо, вони занадто просто, що навіть пес розгадає їх з першого разу, або якщо трохи складне, то з другого. В більшості ця гра базується на паркурі та швидкій реакції (Також вмінню перегравати, після того як вас вбила пастка, яку взагалі не видно).
Можливо десь я не правий, бо гра робилася з відсиланням на Лімбо, а оскільки я ту гру не грав, то можливо деякі з тих речей були і в оригінальній грі.
