面白くはあるけど値段相応か...? といった感じです。
『シャーロックホームズ』をベースとした探索・推理ゲームです。当方はそんなにシャーロックホームズには詳しくないので、そんなに違和感は感じませんでした。

一番の目玉とも言えるクトゥルフの要素ですが、TRPG内のシナリオでも見られるような「いつものね」といった感じです。邪神がワラワラ出てきたり、戦ってみたり...なんてことは無いのでそこを期待すると後悔します。
ラヴクラフトの作品というよりかは、我々がプレイするようなTRPGのシナリオにホームズが主人公として落としこまれているといった具合です。

探索パートの難易度はそこまで高いものもなく、かといって易しすぎることもない。普通です。(一応難易度は選べます)
私はセールで1000円しないくらいで買いましたが、ポケモンなんかが7000円程で買えるため、もし定価で買っていたなら少し「なんだかなぁ」と感じるボリュームでした。

Já tinha jogado o Sherlock Holmes Chapter One. Gosto da mecânica de investigação e de descobrir pistas no cenário, esse jogo é mais fácil, se você prestar atenção nos diálogos e nas pistas, não vai ter grande dificuldade. Se você gostar de ter todas as conquistas, pode usar guia para conseguir elas, mas é bem tranquilo de finalizar ele.

I love the game, especially the lovecraftina vibe. However, it has also been the source of great frustration.

Primarily, the hitboxes of most clues seem to be abnormally small, making it really hard to interact with them and spending lots of time thinking what did I miss, only to discover that I haven't targeted the random corner of an item. Secodnly, some puzzles can be a bit of a guessing game and needing a guide to complete them.

The game also enticed me with its customization, but I would have loved more of it, especially in the facial hair area and to be able to mix and match beards and mustaches of both characters.

As a big lovecraftina fan, this was a hit and I hope to see more of it.

This is a 2023 remake of the 2008 game "Sherlock Holmes The Awakened" by the same developer. The player will recognize the most memorable levels and moments from the original game. The remake offers a more focused narrative by largely eliminating the numerology and cryptology cyphers heavily featured in the first version, replacing these brainteasers with QTEs and environmental puzzles. The new version of Awakened is best described as a console adventure.

The remake changes the year the story occurs, reframing it as a sequel adventure to Frogware's franchise reboot, "Sherlock Holmes Chapter One." The original Awakened was set in 1894. The remake adjusts this to 1882, with Holmes seemingly in his late 20s and recently paired with Dr. Watson, who is reintegrating into civilian life in London after serving in Afghanistan. Both men are resolving personal challenges.

Some levels in this remake were redesigned for contemporary tastes: at times expanded to offer an open world to explore; at others condensed to force linear game progression. Holmes is drawn into supernatural pocket worlds with Twilight Zone doors, willfully defying the rules of the natural world to navigate his way back to reality.

The levels are visually beautiful, and plausibly authentic for the period represented. There are some amusing modernisms: an example is the bartender at the London docks, who is now a woman wearing a 1970s pantsuit and a Church Lady haircut. (Returning players will be disappointed to learn that the hook-handed drunk from the original is no longer a denizen of the pub.)

The main story is more concise than in the 2008 version, making it easier to understand how the locations tie together. Awakened is an entertaining adventure with compelling characters, although it is somewhat derailed at times by the manifestations of Holmes' internal mental struggles.

O que dizer sobre Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened?

Bom, vamos lá iniciar esse monólogo.

Sou uma pessoa que pode ser considerada um pouquinho fissurada quando se trata das Aventuras do nosso Detetive consultor tão carismático e nosso adorável doutor John Watson. Basicamente foi a primeira história que li e acompanhei em toda minha vida, a primeira saga, o primeiro casal que amei, o motivo principal que me fez amar o gênero romance policial. Sempre aceitei de braços abertos qualquer adaptação que essa obra de arte ganhasse, seja em novas edições dos livros, adaptações de séries, filmes, paródias, audiobook e o que mais tiver, mas... só recentemente fui perceber que de tantas adaptações, os jogos foram os únicos que eu ainda não havia explorado, isso até essa grande promoção que foi o surto da saga Sherlock Holmes.

Ali foi o momento mais do que perfeito que eu pensei que iria iniciar novas jornadas e pra ser sincera, estou me divertindo bastante e digo isso tendo jogado apenas Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One e esse agora, The Awakened, que descobri há pouco tempo que o estúdio achou ser uma ideia perfeita tornar The Awakened uma continuação direta de Chapter One, assim como um remake do Original The Awakened, dessa vez possuindo somente algumas mudanças de enredo e uma "atualização" do jogo pra uma engine mais "atual", mas o que falar a respeito disso?

Vamos ser sinceros, não tem como falar de Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened sem mencionar seu irmão mais velho Chapter One. Se formos comparar os jogos, é mais do que perceptível o infeliz downgrade que tivemos em relação a: Mecânicas, enredo, mundo e secundárias.

A história é sim muito interessante, te jogando de cabeça numa trama extremamente envolvente, te fazendo sentir temor, pena, raiva e a mais pura repulsa por certos cenários e personagens que esbarramos pelo caminho. A forma como o jogo te introduz a tudo isso é de certa forma bem rápida se comparar ao anterior. Os capítulos são mais curtos, a resolução deles se tornou infinitamente mais fácil em comparação ao jogo anterior e o jogo infelizmente não te permite errar, sabe? Ele induz você a acertar sempre para que o jogo continue, o que é realmente uma pena pois acabamos por não sentir realmente o peso de nossas ações e escolhas durante o jogo inteiro, como Chapter One fazia.

E por falar em Chapter One...
Uma das coisas mais majestosas daquele jogo foi sua criação do mundo aberto, com sides mais simples mas que ainda assim foram completamente divertidas de serem concluídas, o envolvimento com outros personagens parecia ser menos superficial e você obviamente sentia pelas escolhas erradas que fazia, o que é seu maior diferencial.

The Awakened não, infelizmente tudo isso fora completamente removido do jogo. Não temos mais mundo aberto, as sides só existem se você comprar a dlc e mesmo tendo essa única dlc no jogo, ainda assim você sente que tê-la ou não não faz diferença alguma, por serem completamente simples, fáceis e não possuir peso algum. Não é divertido, te joga apenas uma falsa esperança de ser algo maior mas tudo o que você recebe são casos feitos pela metade, ficando por nossa conta imaginar como poderia ter sido o desfecho final de cada um deles. Sério, ficar praticamente horas tentando resolver um caso para no fim descobrir que os personagens secundários irão resolver com as próprias mãos, sozinhos, sem nos dar um único detalhe do que vai acontecer é imensamente desanimador.

Sou uma pessoa que lamenta muito perder certas coisas que amo mas que mesmo em meio a escuridão, ainda assim, busco aceitar e ver o lado bom de pequenas coisas que ganhamos em troca, como se fosse uma criança que ganhou sua primeira bicicleta, para então tomarem esse presente dela e trocar por um simples pirulito. Foi assim que me senti em alguns momentos durante a jogatina.

Surtei internamente igual uma bota quando percebi que alguns objetos tinham uma física travada mas que ainda assim tinham a possibilidade de serem derrubados pelos protas, também fiquei super animada com o fato de haver uma nova área chamada "bônus" no jogo. Também amei de coração o fato de ganharmos mais roupinhas, mesmo que nesse jogo o disfarce tenha sido INÚTIL O JOGO INTEIRO! Também gostei muito e como os personagens ganharam mais de um diálogo a cada interação, isso tornou o personagens um pouco mais vivos.

Mas o principal que eu AMEI IMENSAMENTE, DE CORAÇÃO, CORPO E ALMA!
O JOHN WATSON EXISTE!!!!!! DOUTOR JOHN WATSON EXISTE DE VERDADE E NÃO É LOUCURA DA NOSSA CABEÇA!!!!!

O final de Chapter One me fez chorar pra uma porr4 no momento em que nos mostrou que John estaria presente mesmo e que seria o bom amigo de Sherlock como nós já sabemos, mas o fato dele ser real, todos ao nosso redor também interagirem com ele, vê-lo, ele falar, NOS SEGUIR E NOS DEIXAR JOGAR >>>COM ELE<<< foi algo que eu já imaginava que iria surtar, mas não estava preparada pra surtar assim.

Acertaram muito em terem nos permitido jogar com John Watson, nos permitir não só cuidar da parte médica para ajudar e salvar certos personagens, como nos permitiram também deduzir o enredo que estava em jogo, nos dando a chance de conhecer e imergir em John Watson, não só como soldado, não só como escritor, não só como médico, mas também como detetive que ele também é, e isso foi uma jogada maravilhosa, como um tiro perfeito no alvo que deram, foi super emocionante observar o mundo e decidir escolhas através de John.

Preciso citar o momento que foi crucial pra mim, quando em uma cena imersa no clima de tensão, Sherlock finalmente deixou de chamar seu amigo de Watson e passou a chamá-lo de John, assim como foi IMENSAMENTE LINDO DE OBSERVAR E ACOMPANHAR A EMOÇÃO QUE JOHN SENTIU AO PERCEBER ISSO E TAMBÉM SE PERMITIR A CHAMAR O "SENHOR HOLMES" DIRETAMENTE DE SHERLOCK, SÉRIO, ISSO FOI >>>CINEMA EMOCIONAL<<< Acho que não preciso dizer o quanto surtei com isso também. ^^

A forma como o jogo e sua trama se desenrola foi bem intrigante, te faz pensar bastante e duvidar um pouco de si mesmo, mas nada além disso infelizmente, mas salva bastante alguns momentos em que trocamos de protagonista para ajudar um ao outro solucionando os casos, isso tiraram de letra em dar um bom uso em John.

Mas temo em dizer que o final, apesar de ser emocionante no quesito amizade entre esses dois, não foi exatamente algo que podemos aplaudir, chorar e se debruçar em uma montanha russa de emoções como foi com seu primogênito.

O final foi... de médio pra ruim. Foi um pesar muito grande, fiquei bem triste mas ainda assim, foi imensamente sem graça! Final sem sal mas não pelo final em si, mas sim pela forma rápida e nada polida que foi executado. Se tivessem entregado mais tempo, pesado nos diálogos e nos fazendo entender as consequências que nossas escolhas geraram, seria um ótimo final. Mas entendo e não os culpo por isso, a guerra na ucrânia deve ter dificultado muito o desenvolvimento desse jogo que tinha tanto potencial para ser algo muito maior, eu sinto muito por isso de qualquer forma.

Mas apesar desse final, não posso dizer que o jogatina não valeu a pena. Acabou sendo mais curto e mais rápido de platinar que o outro, mas mesmo assim, o caso, o curto envolvimento que tivemos com alguns personagens, a troca de controle entre os protagonistas e a linda amizade que fora construída em The Awakened simplesmente fizeram o jogo valer a pena em cada minuto. Infelizmente não posso dizer que ele vale seu preço cheio, mas em uma promoção, aí sim, com certeza vale super a pena dar uma chance e aproveitar desse mistério.

Essa foi a análise mais longa que já fiz. Não sei quem vai ser o louco que vai ler isso, mas olha, se você leu isso e não cansou, então vá agora mesmo jogar os outros jogos da franquia de Sherlock Holmes, eu estou indo agora mesmo! Best of the entire Sherlock game series. But be warned that it is 1st/3rd type viewing only, you don't have the choice of static viewing that the earlier games give.... so if you are like me you will end up feeling sea sick quite often and have to take a break. But this game is worth the pain :)

I ended up having a lot of fun playing this! This iteration of Sherlock Holmes is definitely unique. Not entirely sure why he's such a pretty boy, but I'm not complaining. It was interesting to watch his appearance degrade throughout the game. After I finished the story, I went back to earlier chapters to achievement hunt and was hit with just HOW MUCH he had changed. God, I love when games change the appearance of the protagonist to reflect The Horrors.

The story felt a little... jumbled at times. And gameplay could get a bit annoying. It was kinda like Ace Attorney! Where you KNOW what happened, but you have to put the pieces together in the exact way the game wants you to. The mind palace felt more like a chore than an engaging mechanic. Lots of plot convenience to keep our protagonists out of jail and also alive, but I mean I guess we get that in basically every video game ever. Just stood out more in this for some reason.

The set design is gorgeous. I loved walking through the streets of London and New Orleans! Honestly, I played this just because i heard they went to New Orleans and I was like "now why the heck would Sherlock Holmes go to Louisiana?"

Overall though I did really like this game and I'm eager to check out Chapter One now! Should I have played that one before this one? Probably! But this one had CTHULHU on the promo art... how could I not jump on this one immediately upon purchase???

I just finished Sherlock Holmes The Awakened, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough if you love detective games with a darker twist.

From the very first case, the atmosphere pulls you in. The blend of classic Sherlock Holmes deduction with a haunting Lovecraftian edge feels fresh and intense without losing what makes Sherlock… well, Sherlock. The tension builds slowly, and by the end, I was completely hooked on the mystery.

The deduction system is one of the highlights. Piecing together clues, forming logical conclusions, and sometimes being wrong (and living with the consequences) makes you feel genuinely involved in the investigation. It’s not just hand-holding — you actually have to think, observe, and connect the dots.

Visually, the game looks fantastic. The environments are detailed and moody, whether you’re walking through foggy London streets or more unsettling locations later in the story. The sound design and voice acting also add so much to the immersion — the relationship between Sherlock and Watson feels believable and well-developed.

What really stood out to me was the tone. It’s darker and more psychological than some other Sherlock titles, but it never feels over-the-top. Instead, it adds emotional depth and stakes to the story.

If you enjoy narrative-driven games, mystery solving, or anything with a bit of cosmic horror, this is absolutely worth your time. A smart, atmospheric detective game that respects the player’s intelligence and delivers a gripping story from start to finish.

I'm giving this a hesitent thumbs up, and yet again wish there was more than these idiotic binary choices. It's a 2.5 out of 5. A game with so much potential, like an OK game with a Great One screaming to get out (get it, get it? 😆 ) . But enjoyable enough if you get it on sale, like I did. Like a book you enjoyed on a holiday, but know you'll never read again, because you remember the flaws more than the good parts.

The settings were just stunningly beautiful, moody, creepy. But you felt so limited and locked in.

The chapters and the characters were so often just tantalisingly interesting and then not fleshed out. Just ciphers whose personal events remained mostly unsolved. (when the one resolved one was the otherwise inconsequential bookseller, you have a problem, but yay for him!)

Too much "just click on whatever is highlighted" interspersed with a "concentration" system that made the great Sherlock seem to have a pretty single track mind, incapable of pursuing multiple paths at once: because you would only get further clues if you selected one single one first. Select a different one and you could walk by something and not receive it. A multi-tasker Mr Holmes ain't, it seems! 🙄

I can't say too much about the puzzles, as I played for the story and in easy mode. Maybe that's why it seemed to railroaded?

The story ending was so-so. It kind of made sense in both the Conan-Doyle and the HPL "canon" , I found, but still felt unsatisfying. Could have used some.... Lovecraft fan service. If you played the game you know what I mean.

I could go on about historical, scientific and cultural anachronisms - especially as they felt they needed to add a warning at the start - but that's just for history/science nerds like me.

The voice acting was beautiful, the soundtrack well matched and stirring. Quite good graphics that ran without a glitch. I had no crashes, no serious bugs, which is sadly never a given.

Overall, the game slots into the endless games (and movies!) that try but just can't quite get HPL's cosmic horror quite right, something which smarter people than me have said is impossible anyway.

I've looked at the Frogwares Sherlock games many times over the years but never really given them a shot until now. Having finally played Sherlock Holmes the Awakened, I can say I'm definitely going to be checking out some more of them. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this one. The investigations are fun and satisfying to solve. The level design was also a highlight for me, with the Louisiana section being my favorite to explore.

I saw a lot of people complaining about the ending in the reviews prior to me picking it up. And having now finished the game I can definitely see why. The finale is without question the weakest part of the The Awakened in my opinion. Without going into spoilers, I just found it to be unsatisfying and weirdly abrupt.

But that being said, the amount of investment I had leading up to that more than made up for that. If you're unsure I recommend picking it up on sale. I got my copy for around 4 dollars, which for my personal experience and the amount of time spent was more than worth it. Looking forward to delving into some of the other ones!

J'ai beaucoup apprécié jouer à ce jeu car les graphismes étaient agréables, l'histoire était intéressante même si j'ai été très mal à l'aise sur une grande partie du jeu à cause de la thématique de celui-ci.

Points négatifs ; le système de déduction qui peut être assez compliqué, certaines reconstruction de scène aussi sont un peu compliqué,
Mis à part ça ce n'est pas un jeu difficile, qui se laisse jouer et assez prenant.

I've got the game when it was on sale. Overall it was OK and that's all I can say.
Chapter 1 was way better than this one, and one of problems was lack of depth to missions and the fact that we couldn't explore the cities and there were almost no side quests!
One of the frustrating things is that the whole game was actually a big ass case! At some point we needed to find a missing person and then the story unfolds around this and honestly I don't recall whether we found him or not xD.
The story was good, the gameplay was good but it was surface level and was a huge waste of potential. Honestly, I'm not happy even though I bought it when it was 4 Euros.
I really was hoping to be able to explore the examination room in the Evil Lab! If I were the mind behind the game, I would make the story a lot more deep.
Anyway, but only when it is on sale otherwise you would regret.

终于打完了。这游戏有好有坏吧，个人觉得地图指引做的不好，我找路花了很多时间，我一度以为我错过了什么（还是说我太蠢了）连路都找不到。还有一些小bug，比如华生站在门口把路挡了我出不去。
感觉在结尾福尔摩斯已经陷入某种癫狂了...我当初买就是因为福尔摩斯（我喜欢的侦探）x克苏鲁（喜欢的题材）能结合一起才买的。剧情也就那样？不好不坏，因为我没太进行深度思考（因为找不到路一边玩一边骂），总的来说好评吧，不要抱太大希望。

In one word: BEAUTIFUL!!! I've never seen a game so well optimized, indeed I can play it at extra settings at 5k resolution while having an 8GB GPU, the story is, to put it simply, breathtaking, so was the voice acting and the side missions. Sure, it has got a cartoonish style rather than a realistic one, and perhaps such characteristic could give it less atmosphere than the one it would've had with a realistic one, but like I said, it's 1000/10!!!!!! Moreover, in the game's directory there are .png files which can be used as wallpapers... IN 4k!!!! The artbook too isn't bad at all, even though they could've included it in the game's main menu. So, ladies and gentleman, madames et monsieurs, it's a must-have for detectives and thriller fans.

На відміну від першої частини, ця гра відчувається значно лінійнішою, а через це й коротшою. Проте основна фішка серії атмосфера детективу нікуди не поділася. Навпаки, в окремих розділах напруження й моторошні елементи буквально зашкалюють, створюючи дуже щільне та захопливе занурення.
Сюжет рухається динамічно, без затягувань, а деякі локації зроблені настільки стилістично й атмосферно, що хочеться зупинятися та роздивлятися деталі. І хоч певним гравцям може не вистачати нелінійності чи складніших дедуктивних моментів, у цілому вийшло непогано: добротний детективний досвід, який проходиться легко та залишає після себе приємне враження.

В свое время играл в каждого Шерлока понемногу, но как-то пройти до конца ни одну часть так и не довелось - до недавнего времени.
Взяв последнюю часть в коллекцию, решил всё-таки попробовать, и после прохождения могу сказать следующее.
Игра представляет из себя по большей степени атмосферный симулятор ходьбы, в котором вам предстоит бродить по довольно красивым, но очень маленьким локациям, разговаривать с персонажами и собирать улики, чтобы делать выводы по делу. Довольно базовый набор, но есть нюансы.
В игре есть ряд механик, через которые ты можешь получить эти самые улики:
- использовать чутьё
- спрашивать людей;
- обращаться к своему архиву;
- либо просто находить их в определённой зоне.
Загвоздка в том, что многое из этого работает довольно условно. Чутьё подсвечивает активные точки практически прямолинейно, поэтому исследование превращается скорее в формальность. Диалоги иногда сводятся к перебору вариантов, а архив больше напоминает обязательный чек-лист, чем реальную дедуктивную работу. В какой-то момент начинаешь понимать, что игра ведёт тебя за руку гораздо сильнее, чем хотелось бы.
Отдельно стоит отметить систему умозаключений. Идея отличная - соединять найденные факты и формировать версии событий. Но на практике часто ощущается, что вариантов немного и они довольно очевидны. Ошибиться можно, но последствий просто нет: ты просто можешь перекликать все доступные варианты и продвинуться в деле.
При этом атмосфера у игры получилась достойной. Музыка, общий тон повествования и визуальный стиль создают нужное ощущение таинственности. Некоторые сцены действительно цепляют.
Есть сайд-квесты, но многие из них довольно блеклые и долго в голове не задерживаются, за исключением, наверное, парочки.
Впечатления подпортили некоторые политические моментики, вроде взорвавшегося корабля с токсинами с названием "Москва"
Перевод на украинский язык получился довольно средненьким. На протяжении игры не раз ловил себя на том, что диалоговые конструкции переусложнены словами, которые давно уже никто не использует, и это банально тяжело читать, не говоря о том, что люди так не разговаривали даже в то время.
В итоге это не та игра, где чувствуешь себя гением дедукции, но это неплохое интерактивное приключение на пару вечеров. Если хочется спокойного детективного опыта с акцентом на историю и атмосферу - можно попробовать. Но если вы ждёте сложных расследований и полной свободы в выводах, то ожидания лучше немного снизить.

게임성은 신박하고 재밌긴 했는데 아쉬운 게 많았다. 그 놈의 악당이 대체 누구길래 챕터에 갈 수록 안 나타나더니 ㄹㅇ막바지 몇 분에 짜잔~!! 나야ㅎㅎ 하고 나타나더니 럽다이브 해버림.
할인해서 다행이지 제 돈 주고 샀으면 아까웠을 것 같은데 게임사가 우크라이나 회사고 전쟁시기 때 나온 거 생각하면 이 정도면.... 괜찮은 것 같기도 하고.......

不同於以往的作品，《Sherlock Holmes The Awakened》比起推理解謎，更像一場讓人喪失理智的冒險。玩家身處的不是烏雲密佈的街道，就是陰森晦暗的建築物內。逐一呈現在眼前的，則是邪教為了召喚真神，所行的一系列慘無人道、令人髮指的罪行。遊戲藉此製造壓抑與詭譎的氣氛感。

本作以八個章節訴說一樁驚天大案，而非以往章節間各自獨立的模式。城鎮地圖乍看之下極大，但幾乎沒有支線任務（除非玩家購買DLC），這部分《第一案》還做得比較好。個人很不喜歡第六章的划船與第八章最後的解謎，前者要在沒有地圖的指引下，操作笨拙的載具找到目的地，後者則因穿越人群極其費時，背景漸強的吟唱聲又吵得令人煩躁。

本作可能比較適合同時喜歡《福爾摩斯》和《克蘇魯》兩個系列的玩家，否則我建議考慮一下本工作室其他的福爾摩斯作品。

I really liked the gameplay and story of this. The slow build up to eldritch encounters were cool, although there could have been more of them. Aside from the last puzzle section - I had a lot of fun. That one was just incredibly frustrating to work through, though the puzzle itself was not exactly hard. Did put a bit of a damper on things.

全成就通关，很显然灯塔已成克系小说影视游戏中必不可少象征，最后一章在一堆邪教人的祭祀声和跳塔尖叫声里解密，san值掉光……

基本就是《福尔摩斯：第一章》的UI重置了一下《福尔摩斯：觉醒》，内容不多，全八章内容是一个案子的环环相扣，精彩度大大提升，去掉了第一章里颇受诟病的战斗系统以及换衣套线索玩法，场景推理也引入了错误提示机制，难度大大降低。虽然任务指引和地图还是对路痴及其不友好，但考虑到这部福华如此好磕，迷路找路的痛苦我统统原谅！😋

Frogware只要继续做夏洛克题材探案游戏抑或开放世界，我会永远追随你们的！😘

The game started great. Wonderful animations, greatly designed locations, and an interesting mystery, but the structure was far too chaptered. The NPCs were forgotten so quickly, it was just sad. I had so many questions at the end and was left feeling absolutely dissatisfied. Some questions could have been easily answered by newspapers or hushed conversations by other NPCs, yet we got nothing.

The ending was very flat and felt so unlike Sherlock, it was, once again, pretty disappointing.

I really wanted to love it cause most of the puzzles were nice and the style plus the voice lines were great. But the plot left me just disappointed and frustrated because the potential was there. Execution just failed. Once a chapter answered a question the plot needed, the characters were left behind to rot.

For the full price of the game, I expected more.
