I found this game by searching for a new game with the nostalgic walking sim feel of the "golden age" of 2010s.
And it delivers on all fronts.
It is a relaxing but engaging experience.
It has a deeply meaningful story.
Voice acting and dialog are top notch.
Environment is interesting and beautiful.
I loved all the experience but the ending, that was kind of sudden and confusing. I've been looking for information and only heard of worse endings. But this ending is so vague that not only doesn't make sense in some aspects, but make you feel that maybe you didn't choose the right color flower and somehow it was relevant? I don't know and I'm not going to try to replay the game a ton of times trying small variations without a clear reason. Kind of disappointed in this.

Game ran great with only minor visual artifacts. You will probably want to turn the graphics down slightly, but DO NOT turn Effect Quality to Low or the game crashes when trying to use the flash light.
I'd probably catch this game on sale. You can get through your first play through in under 100 minutes, but there are a few endings and a few achievements for exploring more.
This game is a VERY SLOW burner and there isn't actually much for you to do in it apart from follow the story. It was interesting though. The characters were a little too chatty for me and you can't do anything while someone is talking. Honestly, I think a third of the playtime is just waiting for them to stop blabbing.
Apart from that, the story was cool if a bit basic, maybe falling a bit to the cliche side of the AI sci-fi genre.
Return to Grace is a sci-fi exploratory adventure in which you land on a strange planet in search of a lost AI named Grace. Your first task is to locate the source of her signal and then explore an abandoned settlement to understand what occurred and to locate and activate the missing AI.
The settlement is large, with multiple areas to traverse and rooms to discover. There are very simple puzzles along the way. You are joined by a set of AIs who guide you: Control, Logic, Empathy, and combinations thereof. You discover the story of the settlement by examining artifacts and listening to recordings. All, in all, a great story with interesting scenery and quality voice acting.
About half the achievements are story-related and the others are easily missed. There is a decision point early in the game which controls which ending you will experience. There are three endings, only two of which have related achievements. Since some achievements are mutually exclusive, a bit of replay is required.
The developers have made this easy. Within the menu, you can copy a save file to another slot. If you do this correctly, you can get all achievements by playing through one-and-a-half times.
Your path is fairly linear and actions like ‘climb’ or ‘jump’ are automatically accomplished by a single action command. Thus, no platforming is required and the only places where falling is possible are accompanied by quick recovery paths. For me, playing with a controller was much smoother than using the keyboard and mouse.
You cannot skip past dialog, and the action command is not enabled while any character is speaking. This can be a bit frustrating, as you will be regularly waiting for conversation to end so you can push a button and move on.
I thoroughly enjoyed Return to Grace and highly recommend it. It is a relaxing and easy game with a good story and clever dialog.
A short, engaging game about a space explorer called Adie who crash lands onto the planet Ganymede in the year 3000. She is searching for an AI called Grace who was once the caretaker of the solar system and suddenly shut down over 1000 years ago. This is on the store page.
Return to Grace is more like a walking sim/Visual Novel style of game as it is dialogue heavy. Very little action apart from easy puzzles. This is definitely not like The Turing Test!!
The highlights of this game are the graphics which are stunning at times and the interesting story of Adie's exploration of Ganymede. The dialogue is top notch with excellent voice actors adding depth to the story.
Adie finds that components of Grace's AI are still active and she has to build a relationship with all of them to reach her goal. It was amusing listening to different AI personalities bickering amongst themselves or having a sarcastic shot at her intelligence!! I was often chuckling at their dialogue.
I played through the game twice as there are 3 possible endings and still didn't pick up all the achievements. The game discusses the relationship between AI and humans and some decisions have to be made throughout the game which affects your ending. It was never boring and I was totally engrossed with the storyline.
If you enjoy sci-fi walking sims with an interesting story, this is for you. If you're looking for hard puzzles or action, look elsewhere. Buy on sale due its short length. 8/10
This is a interesting thought provoking game about AI with lovely graphics and some easier puzzles. I personally enjoyed it very much, I wish it was longer but I will probably play again and make different choices as the achievements are there for that option.
Best $14.99 I've spent in a long time
This is a fun little interactive story/walking simulator - there's not much to do except follow along and uncover the mystery and do a few simple puzzles, but the story is interesting and the characters are fun (and there are some nice references and humour in there too). It's pretty short and sweet - maybe a little expensive for what it is so probably best worth getting in a sale, but it's definitely worth it if you like this sort of thing!

This game looked promising but I had to refund it because the puzzles don't work. I got as far as the first door puzzle. When I enter the " 9 light square" in the center of the puzzle nothing happens and I can't progress.

I really liked this game! It's an adventure through several different environments, with a small gallery of constantly-changing narrators. I'd place it more in the "walking simulator" genre than the "puzzle genre".
Though it purports to be a story about AI on its surface, it's really more of a story about identity, reconciling the parts of ourselves through conflict and disagreement. What would it mean to banish the parts of yourself you don't like? What do you do when others want something from you that you're no longer able to provide to them? Watching the characters wrestle with these situations is part of the fun.
The architecture in the game is wonderfully evocative, with sprawling retro-futuristic art deco environments, imposing towers and caves to explore, giant abandoned hotel lobbies, etc. Highly recommend this for anyone who likes exploring.
I got this game forever ago, forgot about it entirely. Saw it in my library and decided to give it a shot and boy! Was I pleasantly surprised! The depth of the narrative, the well played characters, the environmental obstacles - it all came together into a beautiful story that honestly the ending left me a bit breathless. A good story about the rise and fall of humanity's gilded age! 10/10 will play again!
It's a very short game, but the story, exploration and aesthetics totally make up for it. If you enjoy short SciFi stories, this will definitely be something for you.
It's been so long since I've gotten to enjoy a narrative exploration game like this! GORGEOUS environments, intriguing story... It's on the linear side, but there are branching decision moments as you go, if that means anything to you. You can see from my playtime that it's not long, but almost the whole thing is bespoke and distinct and beautiful to look at, and the acting is excellent. Why did it take me this long to hear about this??

A short (2~3h) but pretty walk sim with mainly exploration, a line story, and some simple puzzles. Just click the mouse to jump onto the platform, with little requirements for operation. Seldom get stuck.
There is (maybe?) no death setting of Adie (the protagonist), and at the end Grace will evaluate the her performance and behavior in the plot, similar to which of Prey.
One shortback is that the protagonist does not have selective dialogue options, while only specific actions can trigger branching storylines. Another one is that there are so many dialogue texts in the game but only one language is supported. Overall, RTG gave me a feeling of The Invincible which was released 5 months later, but just a feeling.

Nice genre piece. Lots of chunky retrofuturist design and blinkenlights, along with stained glass windows and grand iconography.
Oddly enough my overall feeling is that it all came across a bit... graceless. Nothing's particularly worth paying attention to, and thankfully, the game never pretends to be a really profound experience. I probably should have been stoned to really get the best experience with the game. All the bickering AI personas would have been funnier that way.
I played the whole game once through Xbox Game Pass. Enjoyed it so much that I bought it here to support the devs, as well as to have access to it if the game ever leaves Game Pass.
Before I get started, my TLDR is: if you're into vibes, get this game.
There are so much really cool ideas in this game, including mechanics, interactions, and story. But a lot of these ideas aren't developed enough. There are elements of Stanley Parable and Disco Elysium, but not fully wrought out like within those games. And as others echoed, the story is a-OK. Not more nor less than that.
But for me, the combination of these elements in a walking-simulator package created an experience that enveloped me. The banter between the AI components, the beautiful world-building, the visceral feeling of pulling, pushing, and pressing things. Everything together created an immersive experience that was satisfying.
Again, I really recommend this game. If you are concerned about the length, it's good to wait for sale. But if you want to have a vibey walking-simulator experience to get lost in for a little while, just get it.
I love exploration games and Return To Grace was exactly what I hoped for. It is a linear walkthrough that allows you freedom to explore beautifully designed environments while guiding you to each next objective. The story, graphics, and sound effects are very well done. There were a few areas that had some mild repetition but never to the point that I was weary of it. Upon finishing the game, I was wishing for a sequel and ready to play it through a second time. The game is on the easy side, but I liked that as I wanted to enjoy the story and surreal environment and not have to focus on beating bosses or challenging puzzles (there are neither). I loved it and found it very well worth playing.

Return to Grace was a cute walking sim. I enjoyed playing it. You are trying to find out what happened to an old AI from the past at a lunar station. Instead of finding endless notes, you discover “pieces” of the AI so you end up exploring with 6 different personalities that talk and help you. You find audio canisters from people who had stayed there before to help tell the story. I thought the voice overs were well done and the story interesting and made me want to continue. There are several choices that can lead to different endings. My “explore everything and try to get the ending I was hoping for” gameplay took about 3 hrs.
There are puzzles, but they are almost like filler. They are something to do as you progress and are not challenging. For me, sometimes that’s okay. I really liked that the game stayed true to being a walking sim. There are jumps you need to make, but instead of turning it into a platformer, the game just lets you jump when you tell it to. Thanks for that!
I had fun with the game and am up for seeing what a bad ending looks like. Is it a must play? Ehhh … I don’t know if I would recommend it that way. But if you like walking sims with some fun characters and a bit of mystery to the story, I would definitely recommend it.

I beautiful short story. Take your time with it an enjoy. It's humorous and thought provoking.
I beat this over on Game Pass and loved it so much I had to make sure they got a sale as well! The voice acting is impeccable, The way the characters are written and interact with how -you- interact with them and the environment is really special. The two games that come to mind like it are Firewatch and to a less extent Consortium, but even then Return to Grace is unique.
The game play is nothing to write home about: basic puzzles, simple QTEs they let provide an option to make "hold to tap" which is wonderful, lots of walking. Some really gorgeous environments. It's also painfully short at 2-3 hours, but I still think it's worth the full $15.

This is a very relaxing game that keeps you wanting to uncover what happened to the abandoned station.
Well, its a typical "walking-sim". Roaming around, hearing messages, discovering the station and its history. Nice graphics, no technical issues.
However, the story is okayish, not really engaging or exciting, nothing innovative or surprising. Actually, rather boring. Maybe, because the game is sooo short. You have not really time to get into the story - as the game is already over as soon as you get into it. It took me about 3h, not more. Thats just not enough. If I had known how short the game is, I probably would have not bought it...
So, give a thumbs-up because it is a average, maybe sligthly below average, walking-sim. Neither especially good nor especially bad.

Walking simulators tend to have a much higher bar for their stories than other forms of gaming. Other games can have a mediocre or even bad story, but with mechanics that remain interesting for its entire length, it can and will be well received.
Return to Grace is a walking sim, a first person trip through an abandoned station, in which you seek to understand, and potentially restore, an Ancient AI named Grace. The game is not especially long, but it is still interesting and full of content for its entire runtime.
The game's story is excellent, having nothing spoiled for me, I truly did question my choices, and asked what the decisions I was making would cause. Each of the many different AI personalities are interesting to hear, not just in their lines, but their interactions with the player and each other. Control and Logic specifically, the first two AI we are introduced to, remain interesting and funny throughout, even as their specific desires influence how we progress through the game.
Although limited, Return to Grace does include "rewards" for exploring areas fully, in the form of lore or messages, which remain an appropriate compensation for players going out of their way even with slower pacing.
I must also commend the games puzzles. Return to Grace is not a puzzle game, nor are they particularly difficult. In fact, in most instances, there is the option for your AI companions to give you the answer or outright solve it for you. What the puzzles succeed in is providing another outlet for interaction with the AI, who remain the only real person to person interaction in the game.
The only thing this game fails to do is optimize its formula. A walking sim is by definition, basic in terms of player ability. The entire game is completed with essentially the wasd keys and your left mouse button. The story absolutely fits the game, but multiple times I found myself annoyed with the actual interactions. If the player mouses over an intractable object before a relevant voice line is completed or some other event happens which "unlocks" that object, the player has to move the mouse off the object and back in order to activate it, even if the line or event has completed. This is frustrating, because this is not an attempt to bypass any story beats, but merely playing out the game. It adds meaningless extra downtime in a game formula which is already built on providing significant downtime.
Some might call that nit-picky, but a walking sim's limited game play should be as streamlined and efficient as possible, especially since many players will already be hesitant with the slow pace of the game.
However, despite some minor flaws in game play, I truly believe this game is worth every penny, which is true even after only having played for a little under 3 hours.

Like many games, the PC is supposed to be an educated, intelligent person, but the majority of their dialogue is neither intelligent or educated. Aida was basically Robin from Subnautica Below Zero, just dialed back one or two clicks. Can we not have intelligent conversations in games? They don't need to provide answers to big questions, some of the best things I've ever read or heard were just conversations between intelligent people from different backgrounds and perspectives who were just exploring their mutual ignorance.

My god, the decor... so much leather and brass furniture, polished wood and formed concrete everywhere. Was this what the 50s kinda looked like and what the 70s thought 2020 would look like?
Return to Grace has a lot of good atmosphere, visual design, and music, but it's a frustrating game. Interactions with the environment are controlled with mouse clicks, but they're often unresponsive or need you to get closer to objects even if the prompt is available. Aside from exploring the areas on foot, the only gameplay is some very simple puzzles, one of which you gain the ability to skip, which I used from then on to avoid more damn mouse clicks. At two points, important dialogue was skipped over, I assume due to a glitch. The first time led to progress becoming impossible, and I had to reload back to the beginning of the section because there's no option to save I could find. The second time, I looked out a broken window and watched my AI companion get chucked out through it for some reason. Reloading again, and being faced with the start of a level again, I'm debating whether it's worth finishing.
The story and setting very interesting, but it seems like RtG would work better as a movie, not a game.
Decent game with excellent voice acting. Gameplay mechanics are sonewhat basic, kind of walking simulator. Story develops in your head (AI and what you make out of it) but this all makes up pretty well with the 'characters' in your 'pib-boy'. Actually you're constantly talking to these guys, which is the fun.
This is a funny, sometimes moving story about Adie, an archaeologist in the 39th century, attempting to uncover the fate of the Grace AI on Ganymede 900 years after her "disappearance". This is a fully 3D, puzzle-light "walking simulator" (though I'd prefer to use the term "narrative-focused adventure game"). I completed the game in about 2.5 hours, but don't feel short changed in the slightest. I think the price is perfect. A very enjoyable (and thought-provoking) experience!

A pretty little mystery to unravel. If you enjoyed What Remains of Edith Finch or Tacoma, you'll probably enjoy this too.

I understand why the game isn't going to appeal to everyone, but I absolutely adored it.
First, it's important for players to know what they're getting into so that there aren't misguided expectations. This is mostly a walking sim, and there is very, very little gameplay. The trailer shows a flamethrower, balance beam walking, running and jumping, etc., and those are extremely minimally present. The puzzles are also quite rare and have an auto-solve option (not a bad thing).
The game is really about walking through the beautiful environments and soaking the in the dialogue and visual storytelling. I think it's effective and making these things interesting, but, if you're looking for engaging "game-y" gameplay, it's not to be found here.
The story isn't terribly complicated, and I think that the "twist" is spelled out far too soon, but I think it really succeeds in building atmosphere and selling an emotional state that resonated with me. A lot of questions and ideas are presented without being directly brought up in dialogue. That won't be to everyone's tastes, but again, it worked for me.
Return to Grace is a bit of a niche product that I don't think just anyone should pick up, but those that know they enjoy "walking simulators" and are ok with a game that only takes 2-3 hours will be rewarded with a polished, well made experience.

Fun, kind of like an interactive short story, albeit too short, with good dialogue and voice acting, and nice visuals. Think of it like playing through an episode of Love Death + Robots.

Impressive narrative game that manages to keep you intrigued despite its short playtime. It's a walking simulator with (very) light puzzle elements, excellent voice acting and a story about AI, human desire and sense of purpose. The graphics are simple, but effectively convey a retro science fiction scenario. Compared to similar games, the world feels a bit more contained, but the story goes deeper and touches on many existential questions. Definitely a recommendation and I look forward to more titles from the team!
A cute and touching little game if a bit simplistic, in comparison to say the works of Stanisław Lem. It explores the ramifications and the possibilities of an AI God-like being and its place in human civilization in the far, far future in a 60s retro science fiction style. Hence a bit naive in its simplicity but noble in the theme it explores in regards to a problem humanity will have to content with in the near future to come, for better and worse. Humanity obviously have the wisdom to content with it in theory, but will it be wise enough to make it work in practice, besides the world is a big place and there's quite a few wounded humans and nations out there … and who knows perhaps soon some wounded AI's too. Contemporary thinkers like Deepak Chopra and old jewels from our various wisdom traditions, does paint a potential bright future. So I can just stay complacent right dear reader. Anyway it's a neat little indie game.

Идешь и слушаешь ИИ, нажимаешь и получаешь достижение, идешь и слушаешь ИИ, ... Английский простой, но всю игру будете читать (слушать). Основной смысл именно в диалогах, все остальное фон.
В видео есть намеки на головоломки, экшен без боя, а в описании обещана таинственность и разнообразие взаимодействия. За треть игры не увидел ничего из этого. Головоломки - нажимаешь что сказали или все доступное. Экшен - сюжетные скрипты без твоего участия. Таинственность - шизофрения ИИ в антураже фантастики 60-х. Лучше бы сделали просто обычный мультик. Интерактива было бы столько же. В других отзывах говорят о разных концовках и авторы обещают вариацию выбора. Может просто не дошел, но желания доиграть не появилось.
Ожидания от игры были другие и не совпали с видео и ее описанием. Возврат.
This game is clearly not for me. I found it to be insanely boring and geared to those who enjoy interactive walking simulators with no combat. The story and setting failed to draw me in and the constant banter from the lead female character was distracting. I also experienced constant frame rate drops in 4k resolution using an RTX3080 and i9 processor when entering new areas, most likely due to the Unreal Engine 4 shader compilation stutter. WASD keys also cannot be remapped to the arrow keys because the arrow keys are hard coded for turning. There is also no fov setting and no way to manually save the game. Overall, I did not enjoy my time spent with this game and I therefore cannot recommend it.
Very short game, but well worth it. Not really a game, since there are no puzzles to solve. There are choices (that may lead to alternate endings. I'm not sure since I've only played it once). But an excellent interactive story.
A short but really well done adventure / walking simulator.
3 hours of a wonderful story. Not complex by any means but entirely enjoyable. I loved the personalities presented as almost facets of our own minds. The interiors and sound were an homage to the Cyan games I love to this day. And Adie was a wonderful lady to follow on her journey to self discovery.
Decent story, a little on the short side but it's a fair price and a small team working on it so worth it

Absolutely gorgeous environments with some wonderful colour choices. A thoughtful narrative that uses interactivity and player choice to explore themes of artificial intelligence and its intersections with human endeavour. I don't necessarily agree with some of the concepts and ideas explored in this science fiction imagination of human society, but the fact that it has ideas worth engaging with is part of what makes this a solid choice to spend a few hours of your time. This is a rich experience, give it a go.
I have never bought a game with only 2 reviews before (at the time I bought it), so kudos to the devs on the slick storefront presentation (and devs, be glad for the Discovery Queue).
I've played the game for maybe 15 minutes so far and it seems well-made, so I'm doing the devs a favor here given the low review count and just leaving my own positive review immediately. I have nearly 7,000 titles ignored on Steam and that isn't a joke - I have high standards for games up-front, especially for a game like this, so I'd say they put some quality work in on this.
This is a walking simulator with slightly more mechanics (there's at least a flashlight) and dynamic movement (climbing, jumping and crawling - all available at specific points, but the average walking simulator literally only has walking). It feels like it's going to end up being pretty linear, but I haven't gotten very far so I could be wrong. I can't comment on the plot since I'm not far enough along.
Note - it appears to have good controller support and run flawlessly with default settings on Steam Deck (unless there's a crash later on I don't know about), so this may be a good option for people looking to play on one.
Pretty good game. The graphics and animation were my favorite. The controls were really simple and easy to use. The voice acting was top notch and was funny in their own way. I really liked that I got to see Jupiter at the end. I think Jupiters clouds should move a little faster. Overall I had a lot of fun!
I only have one subjective criticism for this game and it's not directly related to the quality of the experience, I think the delivery of the story was decent, but the actual plot was very generic. Once again, we have another mystery about a central AI, and while I don't want to say much more than that, it's almost like an instant creative failure - if you doing a game about a sketchy AI, you need more layers to the plot. Not only I knew where it was going the entire time, the dialogue from "Control" was spoiling the twist for about 2 hours. The dialogue for most of the AI personalities was not even that bad, I even had a few laughs out of the "logic" character, you just needed a better motivation for the AI, or another layer to the narrative.
The actual walking-simulator gameplay is decent, it's not exactly a high-end visual experience but it does enough variety for an indie game - I know it does not sound like a compliment, but honestly when a lot of these games just drop you on a generic 3D map, I'll take a game with a bit of variety any day. The game attempts to create a lot of immersive experiences, sometimes it works, and sometimes it does not. The amount of effort you would put into locations was fluctuating a lot, not every location was interesting to explore, especially when it comes to the texture and small details, often having no objects in the environment or a visible background.
The story takes about 2 to 3 hours at most, there are a few different endings in addition to some of the small choices during the playthrough, so there is a little bit of replay value. There are no difficult puzzles, it's mostly a narrative experience, although you have to do some very basic input sections like walking on a metal beam, nothing hard though. The game does its best to have a cinematic feel to it, sometimes it will make you do things to build some atmosphere and a sense of escapism, but it's not always convincing.
The main character is mostly stoic but I enjoyed her enough. The AI in this game has multiple personalities, so even though there are only a few characters in the game, there are multiple sources of voice acting as the AI will adopt new personality traits. I liked most of the dialogue in the game except the "control" character, I wish you handled him with more nuance, he kinda projects his plans too much.

(+) As far as walking simulators on Steam go, it's slightly above average in terms of level design, I like all of the UI changes on the hand with the AI, this game does a bit more to build the environment, immersion, and a sense of escapism. It's not a great visual experience overall, but it wasn't bad in my opinion.
(+) With the exception of the "control" personality from the AI, I enjoyed the writing and even got a few laughs out of it, I would say the "logic" had the best jokes. Again, the plot was very basic, but most of the dialogue was fine.
(+) I thought the voice acting was mostly good, I just didn't like that one specific character because of the writing, but the performances were done well.
(+) Multiple endings, a few forks in the story.

[u] The plot and the 'Control' [/u] - the control character projects his motivations too much, it ruined the game for me, and I also think the game didn't go anywhere, I wish you gave him other motivations or perhaps more depth to the narrative. I didn't feel the same way about any other AI in the game, it's really just the red one, in case you didn't understand what red color coding does.
[u] Environment [/u] - I mean it was decent for an indie game, it still felt like areas were missing a lot of detail, it was very obvious that you just didn't have enough objects to make every part of the game look unique, as well as often hiding backgrounds.

I wanted to say more nice things about the game, but the more I think about it, it really was not that impressive overall, if you handled the "control" with a bit more care I think it would work a lot better. There are some nice superficial elements there, and for the most part, I liked the dialogue between the main character and the good* AIs. You took no risk with the narrative, so I am not going to praise another generic AI story. Unfortunately, very solid, but very average walking simulator with a predictable story.

I often advocated for shorter games, telling small, selfcontained stories, the player can experience in one, or two sittings. This game is such a game. It has a hand full of nice ideas, a well written story and it's as long, as it needs to be and not longer.

[I]Return to Grace[/i] is a short walking simulator with fun dialogue, multiple endings, and it's great to pick up and enjoy through and through in one sitting... only to boot another save to see another ending. Meet various AI and uncover the truths of Grace.
Only one serious bug encountered (first time in the garden, none of the interactables were 'live'. Workaround: exit and restart game; no progress was lost). [edit: the devs tell me that this has already been patched. Fast!] Time to play -- 3 hours. I did not hurry, but I also did not dawdle.
I like games that make me think -- and I prefer relatively simple puzzles. This fit both of those preferences.
Voicing was superb, and artwork was beautiful and apropos. Some light/gentle humor also worked well. The story was interesting, although as a long-term SF reader, the main McGuffin was obvious to me early on. Didn't spoil the story for me, though.
It is indeed a walking simulator (and in fact you cannot run, a minor annoyance sometimes), but enough happened during that walk that I was rarely bored -- and only for very short bits, at that.
Recommended.

This is a gem of an indie game. You play as an adventurer whom travels with her trusty ship AI pal. Hilarity ensues when our adventurer encounters other AI as she tries to uncover the mystery of Grace. The game features great voice acting and writing. So far the world building has been noice as well. Still int he process of playin'. Recommended.

A really nice and atmospheric puzzle adventure game came out today and I'm glad I've bought it, because I love games with space exploration. In this game you will play as Adie Ito, a space archaeologist that will have to cooperate with various A.I. personalities to uncover the secrets of why the A.I. God Grace was shut down thousands of years ago. The game's graphics are pleasant, the atmosphere and voice acting are really good, there are a lot of puzzles and a lot of story to uncover. I've really enjoyed this game and I recommend it to anyone who wants a nice relaxing adventure (or who wants to support the dev).
Just finished this game for the first time. Wow! The atmosphere and wonder that this game creates kept me hooked the entire time. I found myself searching for more exposition at every opportunity. The choices I made really felt important. I could tell that a lot of thought and effort went into the writing. When I had to make those hard choices between having fun with Pal or taking the safer option with Mom, I found myself standing there frozen by my indecisiveness. I felt a connection with them.
I definitely recommend this game if you love narrative based story driven games. Lots of fun!
