I really wanted to like this game.

I completed two runs. In the first, I tried to play as “wrong” as possible—intentionally giving terrible support to create the most painful experience for customers. That experiment didn’t last long, though, once I realized all the answers are pre-determined, and you can be fired after failing a certain number of tickets. There’s only so much chaos you can actually cause. For the second run, I played the game as intended: solving tech support tickets as accurately and as quickly as possible.

Maybe I’m missing something, but I ended up finding the experience repetitive and, honestly, pretty boring. There just isn’t much there in terms of engaging gameplay.

Yes, there’s a main quest and a handful of side quests that can be genuinely interesting, but most of the time is spent dealing with tech support tickets that feel completely disconnected from those storylines. From my experience, these tickets serve only two purposes:

1. Making money, since your earnings are commission-based—the faster and more accurately you solve issues, the more you earn.

2. Getting promoted within the company, which unlocks more tools so you can… solve even more tech support tickets.

Do I want to see how the conspiracy unfolds? Absolutely.
Do I have the patience to grind through tech support tickets that only indirectly push the story forward? Unfortunately, no.

明明英文版会黄色高亮的地方中文版只是稍微加粗了，看都看不清，害我开头就一头雾水卡半天，更别说都不知道可以网页上看问题指南什么其他的了，全都没有高亮要看半天，不知道谁搞的这么反人类，登录界面也一直莫名其妙卡在第30天，一堆英语没有的bug
而且很多错字谐音梗会很难get到，都没说机翻的感觉
玩了一会儿中文的很奇怪为什么这么多好评才去看的英文，基本可以算两个游戏了

Ich hatte einen einfachen Simulator erwartet, in dem man Support-Tickets abarbeitet. Was ich bekam, war eine überraschend tiefgründige, atmosphärische und oft urkomische Story-Erfahrung, die das monotone und doch seltsam fesselnde Leben eines Tech-Support-Mitarbeiters perfekt einfängt.

Das Geniale an diesem Spiel ist nicht nur das Tippen (was sich super anfühlt), sondern die Welt, die es um einen herum aufbaut. Man jongliert ständig mit E-Mails, Chat-Nachrichten und einer mysteriösen Handlung, die sich durch kryptische News-Meldungen und Kundenanfragen entfaltet. Die Entscheidungen, die man trifft – wie man mit einem genervten Kunden umgeht oder was man mit sensiblen Informationen macht – haben echte Konsequenzen und führen zu mehreren Enden.

What starts as a simple tech support job in game turns into something far more complicated and sinister - at the end of the day though it truly asks the question of what side do you want to be on. The side of a corporation who has in their hands in more pots than what you would ever believe or the side of the hackers who want to reveal everything to the public.

Truly this game is entertaining, and just is good for that job simulator vibe with a twist.

I like the game but there are a lot of unfixed bugs you WILL encounter in the game. Dev have abandoned the game since 2019 so they will never be fixed. Keep that in mind if you choose to buy the game. Otherwise, decent game. Buy it if you enjoyed Papers, Please or That's Not My Neighbor

I really like this game which is why it's very disappointing that no matter how many times I send the money to the brother to keep the mom alive, The brother sends an email saying the mom died even though I always send the amount of money he asks for. I only managed to get actually keep her alive on my first play through but when I went to play it all over again, I could never get the email saying that the mom was alive. It's still a good game but that needs to be fixed since there's a possibility that there's at least one ending tied to it that I haven't got.

Amazing Game with Room for Growth(Disapointingly it won't get updated)

ik vond het idee van het spel heel leuk echter zitten er zoveel fouten in het spel dat het de speelbaarheid drastisch verminderd.

I'm on day 21 and have been having so much fun. Some things are hard to do due to how many different scenarios you have to memorize, but it goes at a good pace. I wish things like how to GPS track were explained slightly better, but I just looked it up online. There seem to be a few ways to play the game, so I have fully committed to one and will try another next time. Looking forward to it!

There are a few glitches that I've seen and i've noticed some of the emails have incomplete data to where it just says something like insertthecorrectresponse, instead of actually having the correct response.

But I've really enjoyed this game. It's a lot like the game Papers, Please but instead of an immigration officer at the border, you're working from home and dealing with customer service.

I figured with the mostly positive reviews that i did see it would be good. I want to say the story is interesting, but I'm not sure because I only got about 4 days in.
The way you communicate within the game is repetitive and makes no sense as a conversation. I've played plenty of games that have pre-determined dialogue choices, but those do it right and the dialogue flows well in those games.
I wanted to like this game so much. I got it on sale a while ago so it is what it is.

It's a good game and is executed very well, but it's not for me. It challenges your multitasking skills, but if you aren't fast enough (4-12 seconds depending on the difficulty) you get fired and have to restart the day. You have two strikes before you get fired. There's just too much going on for my brain to handle and I found myself spending at least one hour just to get past one day.

Game has repeating dialogue with callers (as in they all say the same thing), it takes forever to do anything, you can't do save states so each time you get one ending you have to play through the entire game again to get a different one and the choices don't make sense in certain contexts. Like someone could call about getting millions of dollars and you respond with "How did it happen" only for them to not answer the question and act as though you asked an actual relevant inquiry. The windows are too big and chunky, take too much of the screen, the game thinks PC's have a standard of 2gb RAM which is not even the minimum normal office computers come with.

Essentially I had fun on my first playthough, got tired on my second and by my 3rd I just got so irritated by how slow everything takes or how clunky the widgets are to asks questions or provide solutions that I just can't play it anymore. I don't want to play through the entire game again just because I decided to by a house :/

Tldr; game gets repetitive fast and becomes a chore rather than fun after first playthrough.

Overall score: 4/10, there are other games that do much more with this kind of premise, like 911 operator where your character has a voice and doesn't seem like a robot. I can only suggest this on discount.

Kamala yelled at me for offering to service the device that was under warranty. Claiming "the customer had warranty, therefor you should have told them we cant fix their problem".
The clock on the PC and the call clock are different in how seconds are counted.
Work days are very short. 3-4 calls.
Then the in-game PC gets BSOD every day, sometimes multiple times with no way to resolve.

Needs work. Doubt it will get it.

The realism of the issues and customer behaviors makes it enjoyable and on the plus side, I could curse out the customer while playing the game - with no repercussion. Only downside is, this game is like my job and it feels like I'm working a second shift when I get home. :D

Game deadlocked itself on day 3 (about 20 minutes of play if that) with a phone call asking me for more money than I have, that I can't hang up from, which means I can't advance time, which means I can't open new tickets, which means I can't make the money to solve the problem.

Only positive is that at least it happened so soon in the game that I didn't waste more of my life on something so badly designed that the very first piece of story content hard-locks all progression.

I gave it a go & only made it 19mins before I quit.
Maybe this could be fun for some, but I work in cyber security (thankfully I never had to work in tech support), but I know how to solve all the problems I encountered in those 19mins. The problem? Whoever chose the scenarios & solutions must not have worked in customer facing IT, because wow. Legitimate solutions are missing whereas available options do not make sense.

I tried using the game's built-in Wiki, but that was a lost case since several of the "customers" were acting like I asked them to construct a building, one handed, while performing circus tricks.

If yall do some research to gain more legitimate data for scenarios & solutioning, I'd imagine this would have more success. The scenarios themselves could be built out more like others have mentioned, as it already began to feel repetitive. If you were aiming for real-life scenarios, then aim for real life solutions too.
Because you are also competing against successful simulation games & the whole "Welcome to The Game" series.

Another game I wish I could give a sideways thumb to. I really enjoy the concept, but it's severely marred by clumsy flag management and unclear, sometimes completely wrong feedback as to what you did wrong when a ticket is failed. What's more, where most 'Papers Please' likes just give you a modest financial penalty for handling something incorrectly, Tech Support has you fired if you make too many mistakes over the course of your entire 30 day career.

While the game is enjoyable in many ways, these issues make seeing it through to a single completion quite frustrating, And as the game is nearly 5 years old and hasn't had so much as a news post since 2021, it seems apparent the bugs are never getting fixed.
