Floppy rigging, simple graphics, sluggish UI, no voice acting, script innocent enough to be written by an 8 year old... Still better character development than 90% of commercial films out there.

It's fun. There are definitely some shortcomings, but it made me laugh out loud multiple times. The story is unexpectedly deep despite its unserious tone, and the scooter alone is enough to justify the price when on sale. Killer music, too.

Snatch it if you're in for a chill hour and a half solving crime (crime doesn't exist) the old-fashioned way - through friendship and entrustment :)

I think each game builds upon the previous and all this one adds is a scooter? Pretty cool for 5 minutes but ultimately useless. Definitely worth giving a go but don't expect anything crazy if you have played the prior entries.

In all honesty, all the games are the same, cute and silly but a bit boring to say : however, this one def has a better story to it then the 1st and 2nd. there's still the same meet and greet everyone vibe and get things people want but you get to do it on a scooter now. the map is bigger then the last two games, and the little p[lot twist is predictable but still fun to playthrough the end. the ending is actually my favorite part with it coming full circle and connecting all the games together in such a fun and cute way. the art style is still the same, very handmade feeling.

achievement hunters, its very simple to get a 100% half a story based and if you just find a guide for the hidden everything can be done in one play through.

Frog Detective 1 - Oh cool, this is cute and funny! Can't wait to play the other two.

Frog Detective 2 - Oh cool, more of the same, which I love and that is great.

Frog Detective 3 - Oh my god, why am I CRYING after finishing this game about a cute frog detective??? I remember seeing the shadow in the first game, and even looked it up online because I thought I was missing something, but it didn't really sink in why that mattered until beating this game.

Our intrepid frog hero, try as he might, received an unjust punishment from his peer, the one he thought he could trust most. And with help from a good friend, Frog sees it through and places justice where it should have been. It's really, I don't know, humbling, to see reflected in fiction what I now believe is impossible in the real world: the monstrously corrupt folks in charge realizing the error of their ways and deciding to dedicate themselves to change. As sad as it is, we don't get to experience the comeuppance of villains very often in reality. It's a bittersweet moment and such a beautiful vessel. Simple love and friendship, these characters all forgive each other so easily. This game is overpouring with joy and passion, I felt it.

Add to that, the blurb in the credits about the Wurundjeri lands ... I appreciate that. All in all, this was such a welcome surprise how deeply this ostensibly "silly" game has affected me. As Supervisor Penguin said, "crime is not real."

My four-year-old is absolutely obsessed with the Frog Detective series. I had a lot of fun playing through the trilogy alongside her as big brother read the dialogue. The third installment was by far the most ambitious and we love how it tied the trilogy together.

Our only complaint is that there aren't more of these games to enjoy :(

I recommend to play the whole series. The first game was for me too short and simple on its own, and the 2nd game was only a modest improvement, but the 3rd game’s emotional stakes resonate the most because it has the 1st and 2nd games behind it. After playing all 3, this is a charming point-and-click adventure mystery. They are all short and cheap, so not much is lost by buying all 3, and you can treat it like one long game with multiple cases if you like.

Начну с главного: вся трилогия это вообще не детектив.
Геймплей больше похож на пазл, где надо понять, кому что нужно и кто что готов отдать (а потом взять от одного, отнести другому и т.д.). Однако вся эта скука сопровождается диалогами с жителями города, в котором были совершены страшные преступления. В этих диалогах и кроется вся изюминка этой трилогии. Они очень смешные.
Теперь конкретнее про части:
Первые две части были очень смешные своими диалогами, однако всё равно весь юмор строился на одном и том же и он быстро приедался, а однотипность геймплея этому только способствовала. Благо, игры не долгие (час первая и полтора часа вторая). Третья же часть вышла на новый уровень, добавляя больше интерактива, механик, больше сюжета и больше неожиданностей. Если бы не сюжетная необходимость первых двух частей для полного понимания третьей части, я бы первые две части вообще не советовал, а рекомендовал сразу идти к третьей.
Однако всё равно вся скука, неизбежно поступающая во время первых двух частей, того стоила: финальная часть получилась очень хорошей. Причём и сюжетно: сюжетный поворот в середине был не слишком неожиданным, но сделан был настолько прекрасно, что это явно запомнится; и геймплейно: механика езды на скутере мне настолько понравилась, что, думаю, периодически буду заходить просто чтобы поездить на нём.

Я покупал все три части по скидке за 300 рублей и этих денег она, наверное, стоит. Если найдёте ещё дешевле, а уж тем более если вы любите абсурдный юмор -- берите и не пожалеете

Really funny. They need to add another cut-in of the creator to remind the kids after talking to Pistol to not do what he does, as is done throughout the games.

A bit naive to think that we don't occasionally need to lock up someone who is dangerous (for the safety of the public), but I understand the sentiment.

Une critique qui vaut pour la trilogie entière vu la faible durée de vie des épisodes individuels.
Donc trois courts épisodes ayant chacun une histoire individuelle mais avec des fils rouge narratif qui nécessite de les faire dans l’ordre (le retour de certains personnages, la rivalité entre Grenouille et Langoustine, cette obscure histoire de tête à chapeau.

Les dialogues (très bien traduit en français) sont plutôt marrants et joue surtout sur le décalage entre le détective Grenouille (qui comme Colombo n’a pas de prénom) assez flegmatique et la galerie de persos plus ou moins cinglé, idiot ou du moins pas très fut fut qu’on doit se coltiner pour résoudre les enquêtes.
Leur qualité est cruciale dans la mesure ou c’est par eux que passe l’essentiel du gameplay qui consiste grosso modo à interroger tout le monde pour récolter des objets qui vous échangerez contre d’autre afin de rendre des services et pouvoir, faire avancer l’intrigue.

Pas de combinaisons d’objets, peu de choix de dialogue, et peu d’explorations, mis à part le 3ème épisode qui agrandit un peu l’aire de jeu, tout se passe dans des endroits assez resserrer tout juste nécessaire pour contenir tous les intervenants.

La progression est très linéaire et ne posera absolument aucun problème à toute personne qui a deux neurones qui se touche. Ce qui rend tout ça grandement dispensable à toute personne qui a déjà rouler sa bosse dans le domaine du jeu d’aventure.

[b]PAR CONTRE, c’est sans doute le point d’entré idéal pour de jeunes enfants de 6-8 ans et ce n’est absolument pas péjoratif. Un jeu adapté pour les plus jeunes qui ne les prend pas pour des débiles, qui est amusant, fais preuve de seconds degré et parfait pour s’initié à ce genre en douceur.[/b] Néanmoins certains mots compliqués nécessitent quand même la présence des parents, ce qui est parfait car vous pourrez-vous amusez à doubler vous-mêmes les personnages en prenant des voix aussi débiles que ceux que l’on voit à l’écran comme je me suis surpris à le faire alors que je joue tout seul, oui je suis schizo !!!

I will admit I was a fan of this one (more than the previous two). I appreciate that the games had an overarching story (I did notice Mason behind Carlos's shop so I like that detail). シリーズ完結編、なのかな。1と2を楽しんだ人には強くおすすめ。
というより、1～3のセットで1作品と見たほうがいいと思う。

1と2に比べて、同じ値段なのにボリュームしっかり。満足度はずっと高い。
1と2をプレイして「まあ、3はしばらく後でいいかな」と思ってたし、正直そんなに期待してなかったんだけど、3は面白かった。
2まで遊んで3をプレイしないのはもったいない。

1と2の要素も出てくるので、3から始めるのはおすすめしません。

Third time's the charm. Oh my word, this game takes the simple premise and truly develops it. This installment outclasses its predecessors by far - gameplay loop, content, and plot-wise - and ties in a bunch of references/callbacks to the originals . This game really stepped it up, honestly, and I desperately want another three games if they're all like this. This quaint little series has a special place in my heart.

Esse jogo encerra muito bem essa trilogia, com toda certeza foi o melhor de todos (mas todos são bons).
A historia é envolvente, o plot é surpreendente, eu confesso [spoiler] que quando o sapo detetive foi preso injustamente [/spoiler] eu fiquei extremamente triste.
Porem que bom que deu tudo certo, amei o jogo nota 100000

Pra começar que o jogo já é incrível a partir do momento em que eu posso jogar como um sapo. Tem um excelente senso de humor e, embora a história seja, de certa forma, meio previsível, me diverti muito jogando e lendo os diálogos. Sherman lenda demais.

This is a fun little goofy adventure game that doesn't take itself all that seriously. Ends on a cliffhanger which is rude since this is the last game in the series.

Manchmal macht (dreijährige) Übung eben doch den Meister; zumindest haben Grace Bruxner und Thomas Bowker, die Entwickler hinter der Frog Detective-Reihe, mit dem abschließenden dritten Teil, [i]Korruption im Cowboy-Canyon[/i], einen gewaltigen Sprung nach vorne gemacht, sodass dieser Teil für die mäßigen beiden Teile entschädigt und mein Urteil für die gesamte Trilogie deutlich ins Positive lenkt!

[b]Des Maulwurfs Maulwurf?[/b]
Spielmechanisch hat sich dabei nichts zu den ersten beiden Teilen geändert: Wir unterhalten uns mit den Bewohnern des Cowboy-Canyons, erledigen für sie Dinge und lösen vorläufig den Fall. Weiterhin keine Rätsel, kaum Herausforderung. Neben dem in Teil 2 eingeführten Notizblock dürfen wir nun auf Tastendruck mit einem Trottinette durch die deutlich größere Kulisse cruisen. Eine nette Zutat, die mir einigen Spaß machte. Die Geschichte ist dieses Mal „erwachsener“ im Sinne von nicht so geradlinig, sondern legt auch mal einen Umweg ein und überraschte mich doch tatsächlich im späteren Verlauf mit Spannung.

Markant und gewohnt qualitätsvoll ist der jazzige Soundtrack, der alle drei Teile abwechslungsreich untermalt. Auch sind die Charaktermodelle nun besser modelliert, ja fast plastisch – und neben unserem Helden wird eine weitere Figur spielbar. Bleibt der immer wieder angemahnte flache Humor der Reihe: Der existiert weiter, traf aber hin und wieder meine Muskeln zum Lächeln. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung für diesen 3. Teil, der aber ohne die durchschnittlichen vorherigen Teile nur bedingt funktioniert.

Самая смешная шутка за всю игру была в титрах. В этот раз даже особо не вникал в диалоги, просто всё проскипал. Когда третью (инди!) игру в серии подряд нет русского языка это уже, наверное, какая-то позиция. Пусть стоят в этой позиции дальше.
