In terms of looks, this seemingly little arcade platformer didn't impress. In fact, the title and store page screenshots discouraged me from playing until recently. However, you shouldn't judge a book (or game) by its cover as this was surprisingly decent. Corgi Warlock was mostly a simplistic side-scrolling run and (magic) shoot game. There was jumping, but don't expect much plaforming as it was minimal, often absent from levels. The background graphics were poor and repetitive, but the variety and cartoony charm of the monsters compensated a lot. I appreciated that each monster had its own little funny death animation instead of just blinking out. Also appreciated how big the sprites were, especially the bosses. The gamepad controls were adequate and you'll need that as the enemies keep on coming from left & right while you keep jumping to avoid enemy fire. There was a nice progression for the spells, just a few, but well paced and well button mapped. In terms of challenge, it felt fair to me although I had to try some of the more bullet-sponge bosses a few times. Nothing too complex for enemy attacks. In terms of length, it was longer than I thought it would be, at around 3 to 3.5 hours. I actually had fun playing this and it was dirt cheap too.
Originally bought for its cheap price to get the badge but then genuinely enjoyed it and completed it. The gameplay is quite simple and it took me about 4 hours to finish it but it was fun.
Music's nice, humor's nice, fps nice :D
Sadly there is no menu to adjust the volume of the music or sound effects so it was barely heard when casting all those spells. In fact, there was no settings menu at all, the only thing you could change is enter fullscreen mode.
And another thing, at least on windows, it is not treated like most steam games, I couldnt use steam overlay or make any screenshots, F12 was bringing up chromium devtools for some reason

Перед нами аркада, задуманная как командная. Только вот играть можно только на одном компьютере, а по сети нельзя. В итоге играть вы будете один, потому что на вечеринках все играют в [i] Mortal Combat[/i].
По геймплею это [i] Castle Crashers[/i] на минималках с магией. Заспамливаете фаерболом простых противников, собираете золото, идёте дальше. Делаете мини-апгрейды за золото, постепенно по ходу игры открываются новые заклинания. И тут вырисовывается проблема: однообразие. [i] Magicka[/i] иди ранее упомянутый [i] Castle Crashers[/i] предлага небольшое разнообразие и выжимали вас к концу игры, чтобы вам не наскучить, формула работает идеально, но в [i] Corgi Warlock[/i] вы тупо идёте и идёте, а игра пытается развиваться через прокачку.
Графику не завезли, простые анимации, неплохие модельки персонажей, цветы блёклые, звуки так себе, музыка тоже.

Всё это после изучения улучшается и восстанавливается для новых применений. А ещё у нас есть особая сила, которая набирается от победы над врагами, от покупки косточек и от зелий в пути нашем, которые ещё и здоровье восстанавливают. Да-да, мы можем делать покупки в местных магазинах за монетки из сундучков, что разбросаны на развилках уровней и несутся крупными врагами. Купить можно не только косточки, а ещё и сферы, помогающие накладывать щит от повреждений и лечащую ауру. Встречающие персонажи с нами разговаривают довольно забавно, как и враги. А ещё можно спасать мир вчетвером, ну или сражаться друг с другом, где помимо корги у нас будет мопсик, свинка и рыбка. Открою секрет, что самая большая сила именно в прыжках, чтобы уклоняться от множества летящих снарядов. С удовольствие пропрыгал и спас этот мир вместе с его обитателями!

chill and easy game
The character and enemy designs are the real charm of the game. After around the third level, though, the gameplay and level design become excruciatingly repetitive. Bosses are stationary bullet sponges with ranged attack patterns that change just slightly and there are many chunks of the levels in-between where it's just wave after wave of enemies. There is some fun in mixing up the different abilities as they come off cool-down, but it mostly just devolves into holding the fireball button for long periods at a time.
For a dollar, it's hard to say not to buy the game. It's good for about 1.5-2 hrs, but even then, rather just get a classic like Castle Crashers.

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Recommended for a simple easy game night. It's a nice little coop game that's silly and not taken too serious. Animations, soundtrack and gameplay were enjoyable and outside the issue of it being only LOCAL coop, it was an impressive game and worth playing for an evening.
SteamDeck非対応になっていて、起動しても画面が真っ暗ですがProtonDBに書かれている方法で起動出来ます。
最初はProton 4.11-13にして起動オプションに PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command% と記入すれば起動出来るのでしばらく動作確認をしてから一旦終了させ、Proton 7.0-4に変更して起動オプションを削除すればそのままプレイ出来ました。

Corgi Warlock is a multiplayer console-like 2D retro platformer featuring a cute cartoony animal theme and absolutely abysmal game design and implementation. Gameplay consists of very basic, shallow platformer brawling/shooting, and that's it. Multiplayer seems to have been added in the hopes the presence of other players would somehow hide the deplorably low quality of the game. That didn't work.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics.
The game features simple, cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent to deliver this, despite 3D graphics cards hitting the mainstream in the 1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. The art style is also inconsistent, which implies some asset re-use (remember, store assets are just there to be placeholders, and shouldn't be used by developers as a substitute for doing their job).
The controls and game handling are notably very floaty and imprecise. It's janky and unsatisfying to play... and any experienced gamer will tell you, the handling, responsiveness and general gameplay feel of the control scheme must be well polished for this kind of game to succeed. Unfortunately, this is something the developer seems to have phoned in, with little to no apparent gameplay testing or polish done.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers.
While this is on PC, it has all the hallmarks and deficiencies of a console game, from the clunkier than needed control scheme to the less than cutting edge graphics. There's 10's of thousands of PC games on Steam, and PC gamers deserve only the best. This might not appeal to many gamers due to the lack of PC-centric design. It's unclear why this game was never accepted on the video game console appliances it seems to have been designed for.
Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the Construct 2/Construct 3 game engine/toolset. This is a very poor quality toolset sometimes used by amateur developers as it doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities (it's worse than GameMaker Studio!). Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only appears around the same time that trading cards were applied to the game... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
Corgi Warlock is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.

We can describe it as a 2-D action platformer where you can upgrade your character and fight against the monsters you encounter. I can say that the game is not that easy at some points and even quite challenging. Therefore, the time you spend both increases and becomes more enjoyable. I recommend it to everyone
Fun and simple. Easy game mechanics but with the obstacles it keeps it from being boring. Every now and then it is nice to just play a game where you jump around and kill things in a variety of ways with a minimal story line and that is where this shined for me. The fact that you can also drag your friends into your adventures just adds to the fun. Want fun? Then this is a game that can give it to you.

Aventura en 2D de disparos y continuacion hasta el final matando enemigos, con algunos upgrades en las mecanicas.
El lore es malo y la jugabilidad moderada, los enemigos en cuanto a variedad y tecnicas son lo normal, pero es algo pobre siendo que podria haberse hecho mejor para ser un juego del 2015.

Pretty much feels like a Flash game. Neither the victories nor the defeats feel interesting. Granted, I only played through the first stage, but it really didn't hook me. The controls are responsive but the movement doesn't feel rewarding.

绝招充沛，爽快杀怪。因为小狗真的很强，不太会来回卡关！难度轻松！
到后期的技能有：火球、闪电、破坏死光、旋风、只需等待冷却时间即可！还会自己回血，也有需要消耗点数的大招——小狗冲击（点数靠打怪恢复或金币购买）。金币后期根本用不完，爽了。
随着关卡推进法术更多、法术伤害还会升级。爽了！

Wouldn't recommend going out of your way to purchase this, unless you're fine with mindlessly just defeating everything, especially in 2+ player coop. The only challenge for the most part was when my coop partner was dead, and even then it was just a bit slower is all.
It's fine for like, a first project, but heavily flawed at the core. If you're even considering working on this more, I'd just honestly not unless it's remade from the ground up with actual gameplay in mind, this just was attack and hold right to win in multiplayer and doesn't seem like I'd replay it for whatever reason.
It's an okay distraction at best currently, but I seriously have to wonder what audience this was targeting (obviously not me I guess?)

About what you would expect for the price. Great sprite work and art, solid controls, gets old quickly though. A very mild reccomendation if you want something to occupy a little time.
