1.當初是因為JRPG+老遊戲的3D畫面很對味才開始玩的，但最後實在玩不下去，個人只玩6個小時棄坑，要看本遊戲全破評論或深度評論，建議篩選遊玩30小時以上的評論。

2.遊戲讓我感到痛苦的恰恰就是遊戲核心戰鬥系統，看的出來想走特色的JRPG回合制，但首先就是補血技能雞肋，前期順發治療術補10%，隨便一個補品就可超越，補血技能毫無意義，再來就是特色戰鬥行動QTE，加上王血量很厚，就算條難度簡單，也還是感覺到血厚的煩躁感，只能說非常托時間，當要戰鬥數十回合時，只會感覺QTE是個爛系統，就這樣再角色技能及物品都受限攜帶4個的情況下，搭配非常緩慢的回合制（感覺比古劍1還緩慢），讓我玩起來相當痛苦。

3.劇情方面只玩6個小時不好說，但大綱了解差不多，一樣是JRPG王道劇情，但太多西式的專有名詞，某某城戰爭怎樣某某地方要去我們是某某人某某種族，再加上大部分時間是沒有搭配BGM所以很乾，帶入感很差。

4.小遊戲我目前只玩到第二次戰旗，我買遊戲是要看劇情+JRPG，你給我玩超長時間的戰旗，還不煩死，拜託給個自動戰鬥吧。

5.道具系統也不夠人性化，想搞特色單一種類補品還細分單體補血、橫向補血、縱列補血跟全體補血4種類，還有攻擊道具跟復活道具，然而一個角色只有4格攜帶物品，限制太過，裝備只有單一製作系統材料要求高，需要從怪物身上取得，但材料卻沒有搜尋系統，造成玩家根本無從下手去打怪收集。

6.最後談僅有的優點，遊戲立繪大城市場景很不錯，但城市內部細節樣式就很單調了，世界觀感覺有野心，但劇情文本對談卻不夠順暢，我想最大特色大概就是會動的2.5D頭像很棒吧。

7.整體初期6小時的體感很差，佩服那些稱到20.30甚至40小時以上全破的玩家，感覺同樣是JRPG獨立遊戲EARTHLOCK相較之下各方面都好很多。

Is it the best JRPG out there? Not by a longshot
Is it OK? Yes, definitely so. And sometimes, OK is good enough.

The writing can be all over the place, the ending is so bizarre and [spoiler]tragic for absolutely no reason what so ever, I was more annoyed than anything else to be fair[/spoiler], the combat system isn't the most fun but it sure beats the forced strategy minigame that you have to go through several times during the campaign, bosses being hard are more equivalent in "they've got a lot of health", and going for a full completed run is not rewarding.

However, I finished the game. And while it doesn't do anything perfect, it does everything OK. The dialogue writing is off, but the general direction (except the ending) is OK. The strategy game isn't fun, but at least it's forgiving enough you don't have to retry after making sometimes stupid moves, the combat isn't the best but once you have a rhythm going, it's passable, the bosses are invulnerable for effective status effects for items you crafted but they never hit too hard as if it's impossible to beat, etc.

And I really liked the graphics. I love PSX's eras themed games, and this was FULLY that, in detail.

So yea, I give it a pass. Not the game of the year, but if you've got it, I'd definitely give it a run. It's unique, for sure

If you love JRPG with turn-based mechanics, I can recommend this much. With the said price, the game offers you the old nostalgic era of JRPG. It also has mini-games that you can play along your journey, from rock-paper-scissor to tactical battle, to even fishing!
For the QTE itself, you can turn it off in the setting if you don't like it.

Legrand Legacy é um jogo lançado em 2017 por um pequeno estúdio chamado Semisoft, e é inspirado em JRPGs, especialmente os de PS1 e PS2. Uma coisa que dá para perceber de cara é que o jogo não teve uma verba muito grande, pois os gráficos e animações são bem simples, o que não interfere muito na experiência, apenas as cenas em CGI que são bem toscas, mas também são raras.

O game utiliza aquele esquema de personagens em 3D e cenários pré-renderizados, que são pintados a mão. E nas batalhas o ambiente é todo tridimensional, como acontecia nos Final Fantasy de PS1 por exemplo. As batalhas são por turnos, e como em Legend of Dragoon e Shadow Hearts, você precisa apertar o botão no tempo certo para tirar mais dano. Quanto ao sistema de combate em si, nada a reclamar pois é simples e eficiente, assim como a evolução dos personagens em que você pode distribuir pontos em 6 atributos diferentes, com isso destravando novas habilidades. Mas eu acho que o game tem um balanceamento um pouco esquisito, pois inimigos teoricamente fracos tiram um dano exagerado de você em certos momentos.

Ainda na questão da gameplay, uma decisão bem questionável é o limite de peso no inventário, algo que não é muito comum nesse estilo de jogo. Isso porque o jogador recebe muitos itens depois das batalhas e é fácil ficar pesado, especialmente na primeira metade do jogo, já que depois o limite do que se pode carregar aumenta. E parece que o próprio jogo tem ciência disso, trazendo a opção de desligar o limite de peso.
Quanto a história e trilha sonora, o game faz um bom trabalho, mesmo não sendo um destaque dentro do gênero. Um aspecto interessante é que o jogo se diferencia de muitos JRPGs em sua ambientação, pois traz cenários inspirados em culturas do Oriente Médio, saindo um pouco da influência europeia medieval(apesar de ainda estar um pouco presente).

Algo que não gostei muito é a navegação nas cidades, pois é fragmentada. Quando você chega no fim de um cenário, abre uma tela com o mapa da cidade, e você pode ir em qualquer região do local. Achei uma decisão estranha, e tira a conexão dos ambientes.

Agora o que mais me incomodou, foram os diálogos. Não me entendam mal, sabemos que JRPG sempre foi um gênero focado em história e com muita conversa, inclusive Persona 4 é um dos meus jogos favoritos. E o ponto é que esse jogo está longe de ter tanto diálogo quanto um Persona da vida, só que as conversas ao meu ver muitas vezes se estendem a mais do que o necessário ou não são muito bem executadas. Em alguns momentos fica repetitivo, com explicações que demoram mais que o necessário. Até quando é um diálogo mais casual para dar mais interação entre os personagens(o que é bem vindo), eu sentia vontade de acabar logo.

O jogo possui diversos mini-games, alguns legais e outros nem tanto.

Eu fiquei pensando se deveria recomendar ou não esse game, e no fim devo dizer que se você é uma pessoa que realmente curte JRPGs e está sem muita opção do que jogar, pode dar uma conferida em Legrand Legacy numa uma eventual promoção.

8.5/10 I almost didn't play this game because of all the negative reviews. And i regret that I almost let other reviews stop me from buying the game. You should buy this game and you should try it for yourself. Im a sucker for turn based battle, 2d backgrounds, full 3d battles, and hd video cut scenes because it reminds me of my childhood favourites from ps1 and psp. Legrand Legacy hit so many of these marks. I miss this genre of game, and you might like it too. If developers make more games like this, i would buy them, even at a higher price values.

Compliments:
-runs great on a rog ally a 13/15/15 watt tdp. Had to limit fps to 90 so as not to run at 500-1000fps. So, it performs great!
-has a nice hd artistic appeal. player just had to turn up the quality in settings.
-i figured out the combat event without tutorials, it isn't as difficult as people say. the tutorials did however get me to try things like blocking and checking enemy weaknesses. Its not complicated.
-combat/boss difficulty was at a healthy level. wasn’t so hard that i could level a few times and then beat a boss. I liked that i didn’t just breeze through the game.
-so far i like the story. the dialog is a little simple at times, but i think thats on purpose due to the story which i shall not spoil.
-i like the characters so far. I like that they’re not underdressed and there hasn’t been any fan service yet. thats a win in my books.
-crafting system was pretty cool. felt comfortable and fairly easy to figure out.

There, of course, is room for improvement. And these suggestions are not meant in to in any way stop anyone from playing the game, i just think these are nice haves.
-eye pleasers: moving water on world map and in cities, water is one of the best ways to make people happy in environmental detail. animated environments in general will make the world more immersive.
-I liked the art of the environment, but aiming it slightly more towards realistic would have been nice too. It was a little too much like a “painted” picture. some people might like that, and so do I, just not as much as the higher detail of something more realistic.
-there were some spelling/grammar errors in dialogs

I hope to see more from the developers!

What places me off here are the boss fights. One really has to grind hard to advance.

The rest is great. Long and interesting story(I watched it on stream), not bad graphic, but sadly that doesn't matter.

It wasn't working on Linux at the beginning, but with newer Proton version it works fine.

I backed this game on Kickstarter and I'm pretty pleased that I did. The story, characters, and music were very enjoyable overall. I also really enjoyed the battle system. The placement of your party members can be crucial for certain fights and the elemental weakness system kept combat fresh and engaging.

The dungeons are all very small - usually only a few screens, but I think this is a good thing. It helps the pacing by focusing more on the story and battles and not having the player worry about getting lost. I also liked that the battles were initiated rather than random.

On the graphics side, I particularly enjoyed the hand-painted backgrounds in this game. Sure, the character models look low budget (because they are), but the backgrounds are vibrant and beautiful at times. The story's pacing was overall solid and there were some nice twists and turns. I enjoyed the cast and thought they had pretty good chemistry. My main complaint with this game is the English translation makes dialogue awkward or janky. Characters speak in ways that sound unnatural at times and it made the character interactions less engaging.

Still, despite the issues with the translation / script, I really enjoyed Legrand Legacy. My completion time was around 30 hours (I played off a physical USB stick I got as a physical reward tier for backing the game). I think it was time well spent and now I'm looking back on the game around 3 years later mostly fondly. I recommend it if you're looking for a solid JRPG experience if you're willing to put up with some low-budget jank here and there and a slightly awkward translation. I'd rank it a 75%. Not absolutely amazing, but definitely worth your time.

I've never played a game like this before, and it was a lot of fun!

The characters are great, there's an involved plot and story, and the gameplay alternates between party-style combat and war strategy tactics so the game usually doesn't game repetitive.

Really fun playthrough, and recommended to all strategists and RPG fans.

That said, I do have a few minor gripes after 50 hours of playtime. There were a few areas in which enemy combat got repetitive and tedious. There is one fight in the game that's 100x harder than the final boss and is necessary to beat for 3 different achievements, which I gave up on because it became an endless and boring cycle of 1 member of my party dying every turn, 1 member of my party reviving whoever died last turn, and the last person dealing effectively no damage to the boss. I also hear that 2 of the achievements are broken, though I didn't get to those two. Lastly, all of your attacks and blocks are based on a system of hitting checks either poorly, decently, or perfectly... but for me at least there was always a delay on the checks which made it difficult to hit them perfectly. This would be fine if not for the achievement of hitting 10 perfects in a row, where I could hit no more than 5 consecutively within 50 hours.

Overall though I had a lot of fun playing this game, and those gripes are minor in the grand scheme of a playthrough.

You have got to be a fan of RPGs first and foremost. I happen to be a fan of this genre so it got a pass for me. The story is good and picks up alot endgame. Gameplay required some patience. Definitely buggy in some areas for me but thank goodness Steam has those community forums. I recommmend ESPECIALLY if it's on sale.

일단 2챕터까지 하다가 글을 남긴다... 왠지 과거 파판7시절 느낌의 게임을 만들고 싶었는지 맵형식이나 컨트롤 관련 부분이 유사했다... 하지만.. 내용물은 조금 답답함을 많이 준다. 가장 마음에 안드는 것은 대화시 음성이 안나오는 것은 고사하고. 텍스트가 출력될때 뚜루루루 같은 아무런 소리가 없어 엄청 졸리다는 것이다... 음악으로 인한 효과성을 잘 살리지 못했다.
퀘스트에 대한 설명이 자세하지 않아 좀 해맨 경우도 있고, 맵도 직관적이지 않아. 여기저기 클릭해보고 확인이 필요한 불편함이 있다. 90프로 할인가 2000원인 싼마이로 해볼만하긴 하나.. 추천하고 싶은 게임은 아니다. 지금 2챕터까지 했으나 일단 더 달려볼생각이다. 점수는 4/10 주겠다.

J'ai bien aimé parcourir ce jeu car il s'avère assez difficile même si nos personnages sont de haut niveau. Ce qui est le plus intéressant c'est les combats car ils s'avèrent assez stratégiques. On peut déplacer nos personnages, les échanger... Chaque ennemis a ses forces et ses faiblesses et on peut s'en servir pour faire davantage de dégâts. L'histoire est intéressante à suivre mais peu original. Les personnages sont attachants même s'il y a beaucoup trop de dialogues inutiles à mon goût. Il y a des mini jeux mais c'est complètement inutile. Il y a aussi des combats sous forme de jeux de plateau qui sont très biens mais qui ne pourrait pas plaire de toute le monde. Je recommande quand même ce jeu qui m'a fait passer de bons moments quand même. Cependant les développeurs au lieu de mettre beaucoup de choses qui ne sont pas toujours utiles dans ce jeu aurait dû se concentrer à mieux développer l'histoire, les personnages et l'environnement.

I have mixed feelings, but if i have to pick one: no I wouldn't recommend this game.

I loved the art, the 2d face dialogues, the soundtrack, the combat system and the minigames.

But together with a bit of technical issues, I couldn't stand the writing, the characters (seriously, there's absolutely no character developement... I'd say they even get worse.. it's irritating) and the finale, that imo completely ruined a story with good potential.

A positive mention for the devs, who listened a lot to the community during the early release.

The game looks a little odd, but it's stylish enough (if you like previous gen graphics) and the battle system has its perks, but I just can't get over this writing. I never have any idea what the characters know at any given time.
Characters will contradict the information given to them about a prophecy and nobody will blink an eye.
the party will have no idea that they've been pickpocketed and be perfectly fine operating under the assumption that the leader is a clutz, then suddenly, out of nowhere, yell at the perpetrator when the story needs them to be mad at the thief who just helped them out.
And the straw that broke the camel's back for me was when the party sees the leader fighting a normal monster in an arena and act like they have never seen the guy fight in their life; "since when does Finn look like he knows how to fight like a trained combatant?" Lady, you have literally been right behind him on the field of battle for days now. You requested him as a bodyguard the day you met him!

В игре просто приятно находиться . Я бы посоветовал разработчикам продолжать делать подобные игры, выходив на кикстартер. Единственные минусы данной игры это отсутствие в ней баланса, из-за чего и враги тебя могут сваншотить, и ты ваншотишь даже боссов. В остальном игра сделана с душой и уникальной атмосферой. .Побольше бы разных народов делилось своей атмосферой и культурой в играх.Причем за такие деньги грех не приобрести ее.

Średniak. JRpg, czyli nie wałęsamy się po arenie ganiając za przeciwnikiem. Walka jest w starym stylu. Wybieramy akcję, a postać wykonuje. Wprowadzony został jednak element zręcznościowy. Wybór akcji aktywuje pasek krążący po kole. W odpowiednim momencie należy wcisnąć jeden z czterech przycisków pada (ten, który akurat się wyświetla). Jeżeli wciśniemy idealnie, to cios jest najsilniejszy, jeśli w okolicach punktu idealnego, to średni, a jeśli spartolimy, to wychodzi słabo. Postaci mamy sześć, chć oczywiście nie od razu.

Trafiają się walki przegięte. Trzeba zbierać recepty pozwalające w wybranych miejscach wycraftować sobie oręż, albo przedmioty jednorazowe.

Gra nie jest po polsku, więc jeśli ktoś ma problemy z angielskim, to będzie zmuszony przeklikać przydługawe dialogi.
Ogólnie da się pograć, ale bez fajerwerków.

Been a while since I last played it, but this was a very forgettable experience
This is the type of game where I could make a stupidly long analysis on why it turned out to be so underwhelming, but honestly? Who cares? This isn't a game I love or hate, nor does it have any particular legacy (aaayyyyy) to live up to.
While it mostly succeeded in feeling like an old-school JRPG, it fails at being anything unique or particularly interesting, since it has nothing to call its own, it's mostly just a collage of stuff you might have liked in other games.
I can't recall any of the characters names, while I can remember those of much older games I haven't thought of in a while. It just fails to give any impact.

It's a game with a critical lack of identity, and I hope the developers are able to create something that they can really call their own in the future.

Legrand Legacy truly takes inspiration from those RPGs of old like shadow hearts, FF7 etc. Can feel that the devs took great care in developing this game. However, it is not without flaws. As fun as the combat is, there are also aspects of it that hinders this game from being great. It allows for strategic positioning in game to add more depths and items available to deal with the position. I feel that the dev wanted the items to be of use instead of the usual healing potions in rpgs are for show, however, each character only allows to carry 4 items and i need really much items to deal with the various scenarios thrown at me. Also the DEVS may have wanted the players to feel that the monsters are very powerful as there are even MOBS that can 1 hit kill my highest HP character and my character is already at lvl 80. Hard for me to stomach in when i saw my character died in just 1 hit.

The Devs also wanted to make the characters feel real and i mean even the conversations are truly like people actually talking and discussing strategies and quarreling. Ha. TOO MUCH TEXT.

My final advice to players is TO GET THE LEGENDARY WEAPONS if you want to have a easier time in the last dungeon.

Lucky i have more FUN than frustration and thus i recommend this game fully. I feel the story is good and the world building is great. Try this gem.

Nepočítám-li dámu nebo šachy, tak je Legrand Legacy první tahovka, kterou jsem si kdy zahrála. Na začátku mi přišlo trochu odrazující, co všechno je potřeba u postav hlídat, měnit, nastavovat. Ale tak nějak se to celkem rychle poddalo. Hra mě baví, má poutavý a poměrně dlouhý příběh, pěkně zpracované prostředí, ohromně se mi líbí z kresebné stránky, neuvěřitelně zajímavé záporné postavy... sorry ale ten rozkládající se vepř ze kterého doslova trčí červy :D
Dialogy jsou někdy možná zbytečně dlouhé, ale naštěstí je to vyvážené i animacemi. Všechny postavy jsou půvabné a sem tam hodí nějaký vtípek.

Сама игра на момент выхода в стим была не плохой , в демо версию сначала опробовал . Вспомнилась старая игра на PS1 "Легенда о драгунах", что в свое время очень нравилась , естественно на русском , даже в те времена люди понимали важность распространения игры на других языках . Ждал русского языка с выхода полной игры . По прошествии столько времени , до сих пор без изменений . Игру забросили , деньги захапали какие были . Минус , просто минус . Даже если игра визуально не отторгает , отсутствие родного языка отталкивает . И да , это принцип . Столько игр с виду хороших , но перевода нашего нет , тогда лесом просто пусть идут . Наверняка много "хороших" людей приобретут , потому что они знают не только свой язык . Конечно руссификатор бы все изменил , но и его нет . Это мое мнение и никого не отговариваю от покупки этой вполне неплохой игры .

Estou na metade do jogo e, a essa altura, me sinto seguro o bastante para recomendar fortemente esta experiência.
O jogo segue os moldes dos RPGs clássicos do PSX, mais especificamente referencia a grande obra Legend Of Dragoon, da qual joguei muito na infância e não me canso de fazer comparações com esse jogo. Embora tenha forte influencia nesse clássico, o jogo tem uma identidade fortíssima mesmo assim e a história segue rumos e atmosferas totalmente diferentes, uma verdadeira sacada de mestre.
Apesar da vontade ser grande, eu não vou spoilar absolutamente nada sobre a aventura ou sobre as mecânicas que vamos adquirindo no decorrer da aventura, mas adianto que se você é fã de rpgs clássicos, vai achar tudo muito mágico.
Achei a história muito boa até a parte que eu estou, com muita crítica social. Tem muitos clichês, mas acho que isso aumenta ainda mais a sensação de estar jogando algo naquele controlezinho branco sem analógicos na frente de uma tv de 14'' numa terça feira a tarde depois da escola.

Peguei esse game em uma promoção a muitos anos atras e estava com ele na minha biblioteca intocável,
uma pena eu não ter começado antes. Jogo maravilhoso, sem mais !

- Сложность игры. Особенно мини-игр, которые завязаны на времени реакции, слишком быстрые) О том, что любой моб, сильнее обычного (мини-босс, босс, квест моб) может снести вас с удара, я молчу. Покупайте кучу воскрешалок, одним бьёте, другим воскрешаете упавшего, это вся боевая система...
- Разнообразие мобов.
- Обман с локализацией.
4/10, хуже проходняка.

Отдельное спасибо за мини-игры и ачивы к ним, так глаза у меня уже давно не болели. И чуть клаву не расфигачил.

老传统rpg了，操作和内置有很多不错的小游戏，但数据和通关压力很大，例如伤害算法有些糟糕。（小游戏看着不错但也比较糟糕……）
引导这一块更像是劝退，入手请慎重。
单结局……躺平了，最后不说剧情问题，就单说通关boss：最后pc上像是出了bug，根本无法积攒进度条，无法打断……（摊……）

LEGRAND LEGACY: Tale of the Fatebounds is a badly implemented console ported kickstarted game developed by a group of indie developers without any proven track record. It's an eastern/1990's console themed RPG with slightly updated low poly graphics.

The console port here is a badly bungled, hamfisted mess. There's an option in the settings to enable mouse input, but that doesn't actually work, so PC gamers are reduced to using keyboard only. The developers intention for the game is that PC gamers must plug in a console peasant children's toy gamepad to play this game. This is an unacceptable insult to PC gamers.

Gameplay consists of a very badly assembled, badly cludged emulation of some of the worst elements of Japanese console RPGs from the 1990s. You have golf swing style mechanics on even basic stuff like hitting your opponent. Why is that fun? It's not. I could go on about how the game is a buggy mess that the developers have zero interest in testing let alone bug fixing or polishing, but other reviewers have already done a good job of highlighting that.

There is, however, some indirect value in the game, from the joke aspect of it. Try to keep a straight face... the developers are genuinely trying to charge $20 USD for this train wreck. I'm not kidding, it's true! Yes, they think this game is better than Skyrim and have priced it appropriately. My sides are splitting.

Initial release had some bugs. Future patches introduced new, even more game-breaking bugs. Developers do not care. Some people have apparently gotten lucky and were able to make it all the way through the game. Others, such as myself, encountered bugs that halted our progress near the very beginning.

There's a bug report thread in Discussions, but again, the developers do. not. care. A number of bugs have been reported for months, if not longer, with no fix in sight. It's a basic cut and run job - they got our money, then disappeared.

It's a shame, too, because it's pretty. Like they did just enough work to lure us in, and then . . . poof, gone.

A Bad game wrap up in good visual and/or nostalgic JRPG

bad:
-inconsistent dialogue, yes no yes no all along take too much time in that dialogue no point taken
-REALLY BAD Boss Fight Mechanic, i just realized when fighting 2/3rd boss (if u include quest boss) in Dunabad Cave THAT U CANNOT KILL THE BOSS ON REGULAR BASIS, NOT BY GRINDING NOT BY MECHANIC BUT BY ARCANA ONLY (ARIA's arcana) there are 4 of you and no one can inflict any notable damage with/without arcana except Aria's that can one shot dead boss.
- level up and getting stronger, this is still makes me confuse as in monster in the dungeon is getting stronger too as in harder to kill and hit us harder (after beat the boss and gain several level and backtracking to some dungeon) and with the same exp. the only thing to get more exp by exploring new area so grinding for level is out of question
- Weak Lore and Plot, out of nowhere you are saved, out of nowhere you are travelling with a girl saving the world, out of nowhere your robber is join your party, WEAK

Good:
+ Visually appealing, good art
+ interesting fight mechanic (even though it seems generic)
+ its From My country :p
+ very nostalgic feeling as in PS1 JRPG with enhanced graphic
+ all the bad aside, im still playing it for hours

im not a critique, but a JRPG enthusiast ive been playing JRPG for almost 2 decade
this is brilliant game but need to polish it even further, and im afraid if there will be no 2nd JRPG games from the developer and that will drain the progress and experience to the drain

This is a solid game all around. I am enjoying myself with it and I'm thankful for the devs to allow me to disable QTE. Not sure why the game is still somewhat difficult when playing on easy mode - might be a design decision, but we all want to play a game in absolute care-free mode sometimes. Aside from that, the combat is fun and well thought out, the hand-drawn backgrounds are pretty to look at and the character personalities are emphasized a lot by the animated portraits. It could tick more boxes to compete with the grand jrpg idols out there, but to expect it to be on par would be excessive. For what it is, I don't think it deserves all of the negative feedback here.

Has all the hallmarks of a classic JRPG. The characters and worldbuilding are interesting, but the dialogue is a bit unbearable sometimes. If you can get past that, you're in for a fun and immersive experience!

One thing I will have to mention is that the graphics are intended to be reminiscent of PS2 era RPGs. Don't expect the graphics to be AAA-tier, or even part of the indie standard. If that doesn't appeal to you, this game might not be for you. Personally I'm a sucker for nostalgia-leech games like this, so that's part of what made me fall hard for it.

普通难度每一次boss战都赢得心惊胆战，很少见到这么用心的rpg游戏了，boss的必杀特效经常让我手忙脚乱，就按错键导致攻击失败。每一次boss战都要研究一下针对的策略，前排防御和攻击的切换时机很重要，放完必杀在调整位置吃群体回复。竞技场单挑一定要带足够大蒜和雪莲花降低成本。。能练级的机会能完成的关键任务尽量去做，提高等级熟练度和武器稀有度过关会很轻松。最后战棋系统吹爆

조작성 엄청 편리함
오른손만으로 조작하기에 아주 편하게 만들어놨음

전투 및 레벨업을 단순화시켜놓음
MP같은 마나개념이 없음 전투시 체력관리만 해주면 됨
갑옷도 없음 무기 업그레이드만으로 공격 마법 방어 체력이 모두 업or다운그레이드 됨
이렇게만 보면 개허접 게임처럼보이지만 jrpg 특유의 노가다가 사라짐
때문에 잦은 전투에도 매 전투마다 피곤하지 않고 게이지 시스템에 의해 긴장을 놓을 수 없음
단순함이 주는 효율성이 게임에도 성공적으로 적용될 수 있음을 보여줌

근데 말들이 너무 많음 캐릭터 간에 걸핏하면 말꼬리잡고 늘어지며 말싸운하기 일쑤인데 나중에는 대사창만 떠도 짜증이 확 밀려옴 파블로프의 개가 된 듯한 느낌을 받음

오리지널 세계관이라 지역, 국가, 종족들에 대한 이해가 필요한데 이 또한 모두 대화으로 처리함 암기필요함 게임 내 문서나 튜토리얼에 정리해놓아야 할 사항들을 캐릭터들이 대사창에 주저리주저리 늘어놓고 있음 대화 한번 시작되면 공부하는 자세로 각 잡고 머리 속에 요약정리해야 함

이런 배려없는 스토리텔링 방식이 스토리를 망쳤음 극적인 순간인데 난 귀찮음
잡담과 학습으로 점철된 엄청난 대사량에 이미 난 지쳤있기 때문
과감하게 기본요소까지 쳐내며 게임유저의 편의성을 배려한 시스템에 상반됨 이쯤되니 시스템은 편의성 배려가 아니라 제작사 규모상 레벨업 밸런스 맞추기가 어려워서 그냥 삭제삭제한 게 아닌가 의심이 듬

뒤돌아보니 장단점이 뚜렷함
근데 실제 게임할 때는 시간가는 줄 모르고 했음 그래서 추천함

This game is a love letter to JRPGs of the PS1-Era. Exactly like it is advertised.
8/10 for me.

The ambition and scale of this game is so impressive and the work and love the devs have put into this is absolutely astonishing.

Still.... Like you can see from the reviews it is not a perfect game at all. A professional writer could have improved the narrative immensely. BUT the development was on a budget of a fraction of budgets like Final Fantasy titles.

So giving a bad review here is impossible, especially since I personally loved the game for what it is.
Giving a bad review for "lazy design" is so unfair it makes me angry, especially since it was for under 2$ in the steam sale.

Just buy this game and check it out. If you love JRPGs this is worth your time even if you in the end do not complete it or do not enjoy it. For my personally it was enjoyable but that is subjective of course and I can totally understand how this game might not be enjoyable for many people.

I can agree with most of the reviews here about the critical stuff:
Very basic narrative, some really bad animations and backgrounds sometimes, and the inventory with it's encumbering system I redeem extremely annoying and unnecessary. Maybe limit the items you can use in battle instead (which the game also does).

The character development is probably the worst aspect of the game. Most of the time they really behave like 12 year olds and the way they interact with each other and the world doesn't make much sense. It still works for me in a really basic way if you don't expect so much!

There are so many good things about the game though:
tons of mini games, extremely great music and art design MOSTLY, great tactical battle system, no bugs, great devs.

I would not recommend this game to the common gamer or anything, but for people who really want to experience something from the golden age of PS1-JRPGs this really is a no-brainer thumbs up!

Combat was more engaging than traditional turn based rpg. I like that you can switch active character mid fight, made it feel like the entire team was there instead of a single squad. The story got dry at some points but overall was good.

It plays like a dev who played a whole bunch of jrpgs so there is nothing new nothing earth shattering, It all plays basically how you would expect it to , I guess you can call it a love letter or amoge to the genre but as been said the the short time neither the game play or dialogues etc grabbed my attention, I kickstarted it is sounded like it was a decent game but it turned out like so many other games I have kickstarted to be just ok. I can see that the devs did put heart and thought into a lot of this game but overall in a flooded genre it fails to stand out from the flood. I would pick it up on a sale if you are a fan of the genre and want to help small devs. Also yes I have low play time but it just didn't capture my attention the times I have tried to come back and play it. Again my opinion and my taste so take it all with a grain of salt

Extremely lazy and ill-conceived RPG. I have a collection of retro RPGs and this essentially does a lazy job of being like them, and was a complete waste of time. Things I specifically didn't like:

- Lazy writing. Cliche, childish dialogue. Characters have very simplistic thoughts and express them in simplistic ways. Eris blatantly manipulates Finn and he's too stupid to realise it, she has a very inconsistent smarter-than-you attitude, especially targeted at the guy who just helped her with her grand quest for no reason, and despite revealing that "she'd die if he didn't help", after also needing his help to find what she was looking for, so she was utterly unprepared. On top of that, the most blatant "I just picked your pocket" setup ever when walking into a market, and various other very silly scenes. I particularly enjoyed little miss "thank you for helping me in my Super Important Quest which I would have completely failed and/or died without you" berating Finn for being a stupid peasant who can't even keep hold of some herbs.
- Lazy monsters / dungeons. The first dungeon is reused several times for additional quests, and in several hours of play I've only been to two dungeons (three if you count the dungeon-in-a-dungeon) and encountered maybe 7-8 types of monsters.
- Ill-conceived mechanics, especially the "AP Gauge" (cough limit break cough). Basically to beat a boss you just save up your AP and hit the boss with all your empowered attacks. They do about 20x more damage than normal, so you either use them on the boss and beat it outright, or you don't and you have a bad time. Meanwhile there are multiple established elemental / damage type weaknesses, but given you can immediately (and for free) check your enemy's weaknesses, it's really just as simple as going to info and checking which attack to use -- and then doing that again and again because you have to go to a specific different option to check that, rather than it just being annotated on the enemy as you're preparing to attack. I'm also not a fan of the press-named-button-at-the-right-time thing, because it's geared for xbox controllers and I'm using a playstation controller, so in a split second I don't always remember where the X button is on an xbox controller. That was quickly remedied and I started hitting good/perfect consistently but it seems like a completely pointless mechanic to me. I could probably pick apart several other mechanics too, but finally the interrupt mechanic isn't explained. At all. Some enemies seem to just interrupt and interrupt and interrupt repeatedly, chipping away at your HP even though you can one hit kill them. Some seem very easy to interrupt and some never get interrupted.
- Low resolution graphics. This game was released in 2018! Why are the resolutions of character images during speech, or the scenery in dungeons, no better than games from 1997? "Wow, this view is beautiful", said one of the characters. No. No it is not.
- Aldol IdoI hadove todo saday abadut thidis "langudoage" is a 10-year old can understand what you're saying with zero help, so why you needed to list a load of "complicated" rules for how your silly "privacy cipher" works is beyond me.
- Lazy logic: I finally gave up with the game during the second boss, where the very first thing I did was use INFO to see the boss was resistant to SLASHING and FIRE. Ok, those are literally the two types of damage Finn is capable of. Finn, use Strengthen on Eris instead, it's weak against piercing. Round ends and Finn goes "oh no it's too strong, my sword can't hurt it at all!" ...how would you know? You haven't tried. Why would I have tried when it says right there that your attacks are going to be useless?

Exceeded my expectations. Although, I did not like the lore (typical cabalistic stuff) and the premise (protagonist with amnesia lol), the characters and music were decent. Voice acting is not good in any way but I give them props since this is an indie game. I liked the battle system the most, I played it on normal mode and the difficulty didn't bother me that much. That epic scene near the end was amazing. Ahh the nostlagia! 7/10. Worth my money on a sale.

The writing of this game is a mess. Characters keep switching their personalities. The so called romance feels flat and forced.
Game play wise, it's not that bad. Just a QTE but at least that's something. There are some "customization" for you but the fact that there is no equipment system makes the game too shallow.
The game balancing though, is a nightmare. I don't even know how to describe it. Random difficulty spikes, healing spells only heal a fixed 10% of the character max HP while the enemies do triple of that.

Игра не прям полное дно, но и хорошего в ней я не нашел. Сюжет так себе, но вот персонажи - сборище нытиков. У каждого "оригинальный" скелет в шкафу и каждый раз, как один из сопартийцев открывается тебе, все вокруг задают ему/ей вопрос "а почему ты от нас это скрывал?", всегда, все по одному сценарию, уже раздражает к середине игры, не возможно читать эту писанину невнятную от разработчиков. Геймплей это смесь 10-ой финалки и драгонквеста, именно драгонквеста со своей спорной механикой не полной информации для игрока. Т.е. во время боя мы видим только свой собственный урон, порядок хода нам не дают, сколько хп у моба неизвестно, какой навык будет дальше тоже не понятно. Очень знаете неприятно, когда в след ходу босс вдруг решает ультануть и единственный шанс не умереть это заранее уйти в деф стойку. Есть еще пару мини геймплейных механик, вроде дуэли и войнушки на глобалной карте, но они очень скромно сделаны и просто становиться скучно после пары таких боев. Графику и анимацию тоже похвалить не могу, видно бюджет скромный, что смогли, то и сделали. Игру я до конца не прошел, последней каплей стало идиотская локация в снежных горах, огромное кол-во мобов, просто обежать их нельзя, потому что пати движется очень медленно из-за замерзания, сохранение можно сделать всего в одной точке, где-то в середине локи, ты будете полтора часа пробираться через всю локацию и не дай бог умрешь, придется начинать с середины, если успел туда дойти.

В общем никому не могу рекомендовать, даже по скидке. Есть и жрпг намного лучше за эти деньги
