gang i set it to easy and im still a hopeless blob after trying to fight 2 mechpigs and a guard cause i got them stuck in there then get abused by a fat cat with nothing on me, i saw the old character model and thought about how terrible the current one is and i dont wanna look at that, i wish there was a good game like this that had gameplay thats good beyond funny fat cat that kills you in early game and its annoying and stupid and a cool concept thats made hollow when the game is just smacking back and fourth its missed potential, maybe if they completely change the gameplay to be more stratagy it would be good cause overlapping like 50 tails in one spot isnt fun, this is almost palworld and almost necess in a way with the stupid annoying version of ore and inflated version of palsworlds map and ore with a sprinkle of annoying enemies that stop you from doing stuff by killing you unlike necesse and the custom critters are kinda unique im sure you can find multiple games with the same building like that one midevil puzzlegame and oh i dragged off damn it well its a nothingburger mix of hollow shell gimmicks that need filling theyre just starved of here

Hi, i am reviewing CHKN warning: my rtyping sucks 3 reasons to download and 3 reasons i like it 1 it has fun machanics and is fun to create stuff 2 it has in-depth devolopment 3 has many options (tho i would wish for more parts) the reasons I LIKE this game 1 it has a sandbox! (i love sandboxes wo0wo!) 2 the graphichs are good detail is astonishing 3 i can battle my animals so i can test their capabilities BONUS 4 i like that it has multiplayer so i can play with my friend (tho he doesn't play with me much)

Как и многие игры, начавшие выходить в начале эры раннего доступа, эта, к сожалению, так и не смогла добраться до релиза. Казалось бы, главная механика игры была готова ещё 9 лет назад и если посмотреть как игра изменилась с того времени, то особых отличий найти не получится. Может разработчику оказались не по силам собственные амбиции, может пропал запал после реализации своей идеи, но факт остаётся фактом - мир потерял очередную игру с интересной и достаточно неплохо реализованной механикой, которую мы больше не увидим нигде.
Про качество остальных элементов игры я, пожалуй, умолчу.

Скажем прямо - контента в игре совершенно нет, лишь идея создания своих кривых существ из частей не менее кривых тварей населяющих пустой мир. Можно конечно же легко втянутся в процесс создания лучшей твари в мире, если вы конечно готовы мирится с ужасной оптимизацией, перегруженным интерфейсом, непонятными статами и абсолютно глупейший ии существ. К сожалению на проект окончательно забили и до играбельного состояния уже никогда не доведут

A fun game, but it still has bugs. But its worth playing.

This has so much potential.
It feels like a cross of Ark and Spore. If it has more Sporelike customization and parts this would be immensely better. It feels like playing Ark but the creatures are made out of Spore parts. More or less. At least it's not slow-loading or CPU-heavy like Ark. You can create or tame critters. You can ride them, eat them and put them to work.
The downsides that kind of kills it for me is the jankiness. The terrain around certain areas gets weird. There's a lake that technically isn't a lake, pets have difficultty navigating around rough terrain, sometimes stuck. I've even found my pets merged as one. This can be fixed simply by resummoning them though and sometimes if you wander far enough they seem to reset. Customization is a little janky. When moving parts that have a lot of parts, they get messed up. Also the camera in the customization gets stuck too close to the creature or too close to the ground.
The constant cow screaming for a cow-mouthed pet is annoying. Maybe the cries should be a little less crazy or maybe add an option to make them less noisy or not at all.
I'm hoping for more animals into the world like rodents, sharks, maybe possoms and raptor birds. Many things I can think of but can't list on here. Maybe the mouths will have abilities other than just to bite. Like how rodents can destroy trees, cats have high piercing, and dogs can cleave body parts... something like that.
I haven't played multiplayer but I'll edit my experience with that later.
Also...
Knockonwood Nintendo stays away from this gem.

This game is so awesome, I absolutely failed on my first save but then I got the hang of it, I Have three seperate bases, each of them are whole freaking skyscrapers, it took me 10 hours to get this far, I made a MASSIVE animal, without cheats too, I give this game 5 stars.

When I was younger, my friend Quinn was excited about this game called CHKN, because it was like Spore and Garry's Mod combined. Instantly I was enthralled by the concept. I downloaded it instantly, only to come to the heartbreaking realization that I could not run the game on my Mac. Often, growing up, I wanted a Windows computer or a PC or something, so that I could relish in the adventures of my peers. And yet, I never made the change. Was this through a fault of my own? Or was it the simple fact that I would rather get other things for my birthday/Christmas? I cannot find the answer at this moment.
I recommend this game so that I may know that somewhere, someone is enjoying my forbidden fruit.
