GTA 6 before GITA 6
Underrated mafia sim
if rockstar games and mojang ever made a game together this would be the game you can build like minecraft and rob banks and jewellery shops like gta 5. I know I'm writing this review in 2026 but I never have wrote a review for this game years ago when I used to play so I'm doing it now. I would play it again , all I need to do is convince my cousin who I've played this game with years ago to reinstall. But my overall opinion on this game is, it should be crossplay or atleast be on console because I've shown my ps and xbox mates this game and they would love to play it.

gta, city builder, gang-feudalism. It's kinda clunky and the graphics aren't great but mechanically the game is amazing.
One of those games that lives and dies by its workshop. kinda feels like a modded minecraft server. economy stuff is annoying, just like on those minecraft servers!

It's an amazing game with superb potential and replay value. Only saying "it's a mix of GTA, Minecraft and Sim City" doesn't quite do it justice.
The strong suit being importing any lot you want from the workshop, build it, enter it, etc, all the while combating in the streets and making your legacy. Seamless transition between planning an attack, doing diplomacy, managing your territory.
Mostly meant as multiplayer with friends, but also very, very fun as a single player game!
As downsides, player/NPC models are reminiscent of early 2010s, and combat balance can feel like a hit or miss, and is quite punishing in early game.
It was enjoyable for a while.

The game is fine and really feels like you own the city that you build. I've had it for along time and have a few hundred hours on it. It's very difficult at points and gang wars are no joke but this game has extreme potential. L Twigger has done a great job with it and I wish he'd get more support for it! I absolutely recommend it.
Voxel Turf is like the love child of Minecraft and SimCity, if Minecraft was obsessed with creating cities and SimCity had a weird love for voxel-based graphics. It lets you build your dream city, manage resources, and even take part in crime waves—all while navigating a voxel world that’s oddly satisfying. You can create, destroy, and explore in a world where literally everything is made of blocks, and it feels like a perfect blend of creativity and strategy.
But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. The interface might take a little getting used to, and there’s a bit of a learning curve when it comes to managing your city’s economy. Still, if you love building stuff, solving problems, and watching your little voxel world come to life, Voxel Turf is worth diving into.

-The idea is kinda cool , but the game itself is not good, there is an idea of game there but everything is very clunky, gameplay is stiff and there is no sense of direction beyond the tutorial text, control scheme kinda bed (same button to skip text and exit vehicle?) the tutorials kinda does not folow an order of progression (the game doesn't guide you to buy or aquire your first gun but instead give you tutorial missions to rob a gun store)
-AI progress in the map faster than you can think, even on easy. also enemy AI NPCS has perfect aim bot, and if you take cover they will insta shoot you the moment you try to sneak out the cover, it doesn't matter if you think you are hidden they know where you are all the time after aggroing them. also they will keep spawmning at their base forever until you take the base
-the driving is very painfull and the Left hand driving makes everything so much harder (but thats is just my problem). but the driving mechanics are so basic, it is just a box that goes foward backwards left and right. cops are annoying and chases are even annoying (because driving sucks and AI just keep spawning in front of you, making impossible to escape)
-about the UI, it is so basic and at the start you think that does the job, but after a while it kinda gets boring opening a lot of windows just to buy a new lot or add a new building, or whatever. I tryied editing the map / construction icons to look like the Sim city 2000 icons bc thats was the vibe the UI was giving me, but even with the game looking somewhat like SC2K i couldnt stand looking at the UI and menus anymore. (but thats is a me problem).
-so in the end the idea of a criminal organization/tycoon game is very cool, and the systems are kinda there but it lacks a better UX and less basic Gameplay for everything (shooting, driving, building, managing) and the progression could be less forced by the instant the AI start just doing everything (building base, hiring goons,taking buildings for protection money, equiping all employees with guns, going after weapon deals) before you could ever buy your first base (all that on easy dificulty).

tried the game, my save glitched! ohno! but wait!!!!
Single dev, been out since 2017 and last update was in 2023. (until now :P 2024 hotfix to fix a few bugs)
that same single dev, has not given up and has even released a quick hotfix fixing my issue.
not even AAA game devs fixes their bugs this quickly.
what a godsend of a dev this game has, seriously thank you so much dev <3
Not only is this game insanely addicting, its like minecraft but with economy and a town and you can have "turf wars"
the economy is a very fun part of the game itself, slowly buying properties and making a city of your liking while also fighting the AI factions which also expands by themselfs..

An old game that mixes GTA, Minecraft, a free-world shooter, and Cities Skylines. It's a great game that I've enjoyed, even for its age.
good dint no how long i was playing tim flew by i thot was 1 hour was 11 hours
街づくりをしながらその中で賊倒したり依頼をこなしながら金を増やして街を大きくする。
自分で作った街の中を歩けるのが楽しい。
効率を求めると海浜幕張みたいなつまらない街並みになるのである程度ここはこういうコンセプトでこういうのを集めた区画で～とかが楽しめる人のほうが向いてると思う。
戦闘はHardだと超反応ですぐ死ぬので遮蔽取ったり無防備状態から即殺したり角待ちを駆使するのがおすすめ。
好き勝手出来るからと街を荒らしすぎると治安が下がってアガリが減るので適宜車取ったりするぐらいのにしておこう

・金武器出ない
攻略しやすいBandit拠点から退去を繰り返してlv5までにして品質を上げる（正攻法）
プレゼント建築物にある隠された宝箱を回収して、解体してまた立てるを繰り返す（邪道）
・ポリが撒けない
山に逃げる、目のマークあったらヘリがいるので落とす、菱形のが出てたらパトカーが溜まってるところから離れる
・Military Baseが落とせない
地上の壁を穴だらけにしたあと、建物の裏とか屋上で基地範囲内を維持してリスポンを抑制し芋りながらAttack指示を出す。
持ってるBaseの防衛度をとにかく全部maxにすれば結構なペースで兵力が溜まるはず。
部下が交戦し始めたら地上で殺せそうな敵MOBを適宜狙撃、味方の攻撃準備ができ次第波状攻撃
地下にも戦車がいるのだが地上が掃討できれば、手勢と自分で数的有利をとって占領できるはず

I absolutely love this game, Also the insane amount of things made from scratch for this game is amazing. The developer is obviously very passionate about this project and the possible sequel.
Conceptually, it's a lot of things! It's not just "GTA meets Minecraft", the people who said that probably haven't tried Turf Zero, which is what I've spent about 17 hours on so far. Depending on who you are and how you play, it can be GTA, it can be Minecraft (with or without a city built up), it can be SimCity (mostly), it can be a large-scale strategy game, and it can be a (very) basic game about architecture.
What is it in practice? A mess of a game. Movement exists (and is floaty), guns go bang and need ammo, vehicles go vroom and drive and collide without causing the physics engine to panic, there's a well-thought-out wanted system that almost works consistently, you can earn and spend money, and there's a reputation system to encourage both taking out bandits and completing quests/missions. There are also some really high-level challenges (like military bases and dungeons) that are a massive difficulty spike from going up against bandits, but maybe they're doable with help.
What would I give this game? I'm not even sure. If you wanna see something cool that hasn't been done, but is far from "finished", go for it. I know I don't regret buying it.
This game is EPIC! You can literally commit arson and kill people with OP golden weapons while getting chased by the police at the SAME TIME!! You can make a tsunami of CDF (Police) cars out side of the gun store. Many things to do in this game, you could build, the stuff I mentioned at the start of this review, ride a helicopter, you can even shoot while you are in a vehicle! But you have to have a gun equipped though. Best game of all time!

Great game with simplistic yet enjoyable graphics and gameplay. Combines strategy, FPS and Voxel based builder in a way that brings out the positive traits of all three. The game is developed by a single aussie, and still receives semi-frequent updates and bug fixes.
L Twigger, I would love to see you dump some new content into the game. I think, even though its going on six years old, there is a ton of demand for a game like this. Its great and has so many unique systems.
This game is really good but it needs more players.
This is a perfect game, good gameplay, style, graphics and good sotry. BUT this game has like 2 peeple playing per month.

Fun game, quite unique and hard to describe, but I will say it is worth getting.

Okay so my last review I basically had an issue with the gunplay, or combat. But I learnt that the AI isn't really that smart so sneaking around is a very useful tactic where you pick off enemies one by one with a few level ups, decent mods and a good rifle.
Overall, it's a nice cheap GTA Clone with city building elements.

Voxel Turf is a game where you control a mercenary doing missions for rich lunatics to poor lunatics in a semi-anarchistic city surrounded by bandits and controlled by many different factions of which you are one of. Some of the most fun I have experienced in a voxel based game, and as far as I am aware of it is only being developed by one person. 8/10 Don't let the graphics deter you from playing this awesome voxel based city warfare shooter.
Voxel Turf is a really fun, light-hearted game. Builders can really unleash their creative side, too! Highly recommend.
I just threw some mods on and had a blast I don't really got anything else then that.
