До этого момента, я бы никогда не подумал, что игра в жанре point-and-click произведёт на меня настолько сильное впечатление. Без всяких сомнений, мне крайне повезло наткнуться на такой бриллиант. Визуальный стиль , вдохновлённый ghostrunner-ом с собственным визуальным видением разработчика создаёт потрясающий мир безысходности и атмосферности происходящего. Музыкальное сопровождение отлично дополняет визуал наряду с крайне стильными комикс вставками, анимирующие действия нашего главного героя лучше любой настоящей анимации. Сюжетка и персонажи тоже вне всяких похвал. Почти каждый встреченный нами персонаж имеет серую мораль и игра, несмотря на своё очевидно библейское начало в лице гг, также показывает весь мир вокруг с разных сторон. Крайне рекомендую данный проект.

[u]The Blind Prophet[/u] drew me in with its artwork, but game-breaking bugs stopped me continuing. On Steam Deck, the font is badly broken, with missing characters and symbols replaced by icons, making text hard to read and likely affecting puzzles. I became invested in the story, but frequent crashes eventually made progress impossible, even after trying different Proton versions. The art stands out, but the technical issues made it unplayable for me.

I love the sketchy handdrawn look of this point and click adventure game. It really makes me feel nostalgic for north american comics in 2006-2008. The environments feel lived in, I love all of the clubs, the aesthetics and people you can talk to or observe. I haven't fully finished this, but I'm really enjoying the story and the characters and haven't encountered any bugs either.

The music and art are absolutely on point, and that's absolutely why you and I are here.
But the writing is a bit menial - not [i]bad[/i] but kinda predictable & tropey in a seen-that-coming-from-a-mile-off kinda way + the odd leftover unresolved plot thread or two.
Plus, the religious theming and moral preaching may or may not sit right with you, for more than one reason - both strongly religious [i]and[/i] atheist progressive people will find plenty to poke holes into...

The puzzles are alright - fairly standard and no Sierra moon logic.
Though as is usually the case for P&C Adventure games, the prologue has by far the best item based puzzles and the densest array of puzzles, npcs and interactions. It tapers off towards the end [i]a lot[/i], and making a grappling hook from rope/wire and a random bit of scenery works once, not in every chapter...

Engaging for an evening, vibing to the style and music, but nothing I'd recommend for full price.
Good for a sale.

The art, the music and the story are all fantastic. There's some entertaining minigames but for the most part it's an interactive graphic novel. Really enjoyed it, some reviews saying it's short however I personally felt it was a good length for this type of story driven game. It's worth getting!

Польские разработчики решили продолжить уже набивший оскомину хайп седоволосого мужика с мечами ("наш" мужик, один из мечей по видимому пропил или потерял).

Из плюсов можно отметить приятно стилизованное оформление, кат-сцены в виде комиксов. На этом пожалуй плюсы заканчиваются.

Минусы:
- если бы авторы игры решили замутить Геральта в киберпанке - это было бы круто. По факту мы имеем непонятного бессмертного свято-грешника, который периодически воплощается чтобы мочить чудовищ...кхм, демонов среди людей. Вообще к лору мира довольно большие вопросы, это какой-то недо-панк, големы и компьютерные системы соседствуют с призраками, демонами и открытием морских торговых маршрутов, словно на дворе XVII век. Даже для оригинальной истории, сложновато;

- система перекрестия на КАЖДОМ предмете (осмотреть/поговорить/взять/использовать), из-за чего гг иногда беседует с предметами или пытается "взять" непися;

- сомнительное музыкальное сопровождение в некоторых локациях, где-то прям в тему, где-то откровенно раздражает. Видно что некоторые аудиодорожки слеплены на коленке второсортными польскими диджеями или взяты в бесплатных аудиотеках.

Пятихатки игра и близко не стоит, поэтому удивлен таким положительным отзывам. Брать по скидону (я отхватил за полтинник на распродаже) и не ждать от игры слишком многого.

Игру прошел, игра шедевральная на мой взгляд. Перед покупкой читал, что были жалобы на необходимость перемещаться по карте, но лично меня это не напрягало, так как в этом есть элемент поиска маршрута/нового места и в целом все так красиво нарисовано, что еще раз пробежаться по локациям сплошное эстетическое удовольствие. Оч стильная графика! Юмор мне зашёл, потому что он как в том анекдоте, когда "заходит апостол в бар") Головоломки интересные и затруднений не вызвали, игра оказалась больше, чем я ожидал, насыщенная разными событиями. Сюжет увлек и держал до конца.

lo he jugado en diciembre de 2025 y puedo decir que tiene un apartado artístico y sonoro exquisito, he pasado decenas de minutos solo parado en algunos sitios para tener la música de fondo xD. la historia ha estado muy bien , personalmente me hubiese gustado que cada acto fuese un poco más largo da la sensación que cada capitulo hay que hacer menos. La traducción al español un poco rara, había sitios que no entendía de que estaban hablando, y hay algunos acertijos como el de la sala de control que no diré cual es la solución lo tuve que buscar en internet porque no encontré forma de averiguarlo. Espero que el equipo siga haciendo y puliendo éste tipo de juegos . Lo he pasado muy bien jugando al juego. Gracias a los desarrolladores por ésta joya.

5 Hours to complete, so not a long old game - but I think it's about the right amount of time.

This is more of a graphic novel interactive story, with some point and click gameplay and mini-games built around it.

The overall story and graphics I really enjoyed, so would recommend it for people looking for this. The writing is a bit cheesy at times, but I liked that and it fit with the general world. The music was pretty cool throughout.

There are a fair few spelling mistakes in the English translation, but nothing that would ruin the enjoyment of the game - I skim read during these games so it didn't bother me, I just noticed it.

Worth a play through, keep an eye out for a sale bargain.

Un point n click qui mérite son nom même s'il mélange aussi un coté novel dont on ne se serait pas attendu, le héro est un être étrange, mais appréciable comme l'histoire.

Il est malgré tout un peu court et sa fin laisse entrevoir une suite ou un dlc (je l'espère il a 5 ans quand même)

La DA et la bande son ont une patte qui attire l'oeil et l'oreille. Je le recommande sans hésitation.

Moitié "Point'n click", moitié "Visual novel", TheBlindProphet nous amène dans une aventure très noire, jouant un apôtre cherchant à éliminer quelques démons réincarnés.
Avec une direction artistique très marquante et très réussie, on enchaine les petites énigmes avec des passages un peu visual novel façon "comic strip".
L'univers ainsi que l'histoire et les dialogues sont également très bien écrits, et très matures.
A recommander sans hésiter pour les amateurs du genre.

Molto delusa dal gameplay di questa piccola perla indie; mentre la grafica è estremamente curata, le meccaniche di gioco impediscono una scorrevolezza che - sopratutto in un punta e clicca ad enigmi - dovrebbe essere messa al primo posto.

Capita spesso di softlockarsi, a volte è necessario dover ripartire da zero, e il fatto che nelle impostazioni di gioco abbiano inserito il tasto apposito di reset la dice lunga.
I dialoghi già letti non sono sempre skippabili e non è chiaro quando si possono fare nuove interazioni con i png, quindi spesso ci si ritrova a leggere e rileggere le stesse cose, soprattutto a causa del continuo avanti e indietro che bisogna fare nelle varie schermate per poter proseguire nel gioco.

L'audio è un altro punto debole, non tanto per la scelta azzeccata di musica e doppiatori (che purtroppo dicono una parola scarsa e solo nelle cutscene), quanto per i tagli bruschi ad ogni cambio scena.

La trama è godibile, niente di indimenticabile, ma se non altro, da fan di ambientazioni gotiche e dark, l'immersione è stata piacevole.

In conclusione, il problema maggiore rimane l'impossibilità di giocare in modo fluido. Un vero peccato.

Не надо тешить себя надеждами, игра того не стоит. Все тут испорчено уровнем диалогов, которые никак не походят для персонажей от слова совсем, особенно для гг. Это какой то фанфик из клише. Как можно в такой игре писать такую унильщину банальную, я не понимаю. Ваш главнй герой, апостол общается как подросток и никак не тянет на персонажа, который уже ни раз сражался со злом. Загадки не особо сложные, рисовка визуально подходит, но в ней не чувствуется мрак и отчаяние окружения. Подача как в комиксе приятная.

Игра для подростков и впечатлительных девчуль. Брать только по скидке.

Dark, grim and very bloody. "The Blind Prophet" has a very nice artstyle and extraordinary soundtrack. I enjoyed the general theme and setting of this game a lot.
The apostel Bartholomeus is send to save mankind in the smalltown of Rotbork from demonic corruption. The girl he saves at the start becomes his sidekick quickly. And together they investigate what's happening in Rotbork... From underaged prostitution to political corruption, there's not much good left in this place.

The game is very atmospheric. The riddles aren't too hard and it's even possible to detect all clickpoints with an ingame feature. Nevertheless some dialogues did feel kind of dull and some parts of the game feel buggy. Personally I mostly disliked the mechanics during the bossfight at the games finale.

Now I'm left wondering, if there is more than just one ending. And if some of the clues in Rotbork are just for atmosphere or if there are some riddles left.

I really enjoyed this game. The unique visual style and diverse puzzles allowed me to immerse myself in the game. This game would probably go pass me, if it wasn't for a dear person of mine to recommend it. I should say - it does start somewhat weaker than it actually is and there is a feeling that the creators of it couldn't bring in all of the ideas they had, but still - I believe, that it is worth your time. You probably already know how good it looks from other reviews, so I want to talk about other important part - music. You definitely shouldn't ignore the advice to play this game with headphones, since it is definitely one of the strongest parts of it. Music here can range from heaven-like compositions featuring organ motives and choir to dark and dismal ones which definitely adds a hefty ammount of athmosphere to the story. And overall it was one of the best music experiences for me in this year. Certainly give it a go if you value the music as a storytelling element as much as I do.

Incredible dark point and click game about hunting demons in a modern city, that's resembling Vampire Masquerade. Presentation and riddles are all on a sweet spot I would say... except that game is broken. You may get soft locked on any time and sadly devs didn't input any save option except auto-save that doesnt help when you get stuck.

So I can only recommend this if you are not afraid of repeating the whole game at any given time. If you are curious I got stuck on Piano sequence because of dark screen I couldnt see piano keys that I was supposed to play in order.

画风党狂喜，美术风格太抢眼了，可以说把整个游戏都塑造成欧美暗黑漫画，我就喜欢这种手绘欧美漫画风格的游戏，以及很独特的漫画分镜也让人眼前一亮。玩法上走的是经典点击解谜路线，需要不停找道具、组合物品、推进剧情，不过习有些谜题逻辑比较意识流，偶尔还得靠穷举法才能过关，有的实在不知道要咋解谜的只能去找攻略的。剧情是典型的宗教驱魔题材，七宗罪变四大天王有点缩水，结局戛然而止也感觉比较仓促，但整体叙事沉浸感很强，主角表面硬汉实则闷骚幽默，各种美式幽默和人文关怀穿插得挺到位，这种反差萌塑造得确实挺讨喜。还有bgm很带感，不仅符合整个场景，加上漫画式过场沉浸感就很强。不过中文翻译有点点问题，比如拼写错误啥的。还有可互动的物品很多，不过大多数都是没啥用的，这就有点干扰解谜了。还有稍微有点血腥重口，不过对我来说还能接受。确实是一款很好的点击冒险类游戏，打折7块钱还要啥自行车。

Artistiquement, on nage dans la bd européenne underground. Chaque planche est soignée et il s'en dégage quelque chose à la fois morbide et poétique, grâce en partie à l'usage de couleurs frappantes. La qualité est telle que l'ensemble mériterait d’être imprimé et de figurer en librairie.

Du côté de la bande son, on a droit à quelque chose d'electro qui se marie parfaitement au ton des dessins. A cela s'ajoute des bruitages qui renforcent le côté oppressant de la ville Rotbork et qui subliment aussi scènes impactantes (sans spoiler, l'ambiance sonore de l'épilogue était par exemple très cinématographique).

Pour le gameplay, on est dans du point’n’click classique. Il n'y a pas d'énigmes absurdes et les minigames servent efficacement à faire avancer le récit. J'ai quand même dut m'aider d'un guide à un ou deux moments où c'était pas forcément très clair mais bon, il faut bien quelques imperfections.

Narrativement, le ton est mature, cru et brutal, avec quelque chose de mélancolique. On vise clairement un publique adulte.

J'ai vraiment accroché au style artistique d'Ars Goetia, qu'on retrouve aussi dans leur autre jeu [url=store.steampowered.com/app/1608450/Hellslave/]Hellslave[/url].

Esta aventura gráfica está bastante pulida y destaca sobre todo por su elaborado estilo artístico similar al de un cómic, y la acertada paleta de colores, los cuales diría que son sus puntos fuertes. No sólo las ilustraciones son exquisitas; la mezcla de diseños extravagantes y futuristas de los edificios y esculturas ayudan a crear una atmósfera con personalidad única y muy original, propia de una distopía donde no hay lugar para la esperanza y la humanidad sucumbe a los vicios y la bajeza moral.

Ahí es donde entra nuestro protagonista principal: en este juego encarnamos a Bartolomé, un apóstol que lleva 2000 años combatiendo demonios que utilizan a los humanos para camuflarse y propagar el mal. Su misión será erradicarlos de una ciudad sumida en la miseria, donde la delincuencia aguarda en cada esquina y la policía no desempeña ninguna función.

Ahora bien, más allá de lo estético, cabe mencionar algunos aspectos más flojos: algunos puzzles no tienen demasiado sentido y en general no suponen un desafío. Además, hay algo que me chirría bastante: hay 4 posibles acciones, como en casi todo Point and click: Mirar, Usar, Coger (chistes aparte xd), y Dialogar. Bien, pues las 4 opciones siempre están disponibles, y siempre desencadenan algún tipo de resultado al seleccionarlas, pese a carecer de sentido.
Por ejemplo, si eliges "dialogar" con una lámpara, el personaje dirá algo sobre ella. Si eliges "usar" a otro personaje, lo mismo sucede. Esas opciones sencillamente no deberían estar disponibles para todos los objetos del juego, te hacen perder tiempo leyendo un texto que no aporta nada, cuando esperabas una acción real. Otro pequeño fallo a reprocharle, es la fuente del texto que aparece al interactuar con dichos objetos, cuyo tamaño y estilo dificultan su lectura.

Dicho todo eso, The Blind Prophet ha superado mis expectativas, y su final me ha parecido bastante apropiado. Sus virtudes son mayores que sus defectos.

История настолько сильная, что я до сих пор пребываю в прострации. Это не игра, это скорее нечто вроде ожившего комикса. Загадки здесь не главное, главное сюжет! Он настолько захватывает, что игра проходится залпом! Визуал это просто что-то с чем-то, божественно! Музыкальное сопровождение прекрасно дополняет ситуации и историю, даже думаю, куплю ОСТ, что бы наслаждаться полученными впечатлениями снова и снова.
Ну и конечно главный герой..Апостол Варфоломей. Это образец героя, он покоряет с первых секунд и постепенно раскрывает себя со всех сторон, ему сопереживаешь, по-настоящему сопереживаешь! Очень цепляющий персонаж, который теперь возглавит список моих фаворитов.
История держит в напряжении до последней секунды, хотя и не все ее аспекты раскрыты, но возможно кое-что просто остается на откуп нам как зрителям.
Что насчет ноющих по поводу что там больше пунктов взаимодействия чем нужно...ну это сделано что бы вы прониклись миром и окружением. )
В общем как игра где надо думать это мимо, как одна из самых СИЛЬНЫХ историй - определенно ДА!

The Blind Prophet is beautifully atmospheric but sadly very flawed.

This French indie game is very short and basic, even for the point & click genre.
Just look at the one sentence description on Steam that explains nothing..

Firstly, I will praise the amazing comic book art style and great sound design.
It is genius to promote your mediocre comic through a game as the comic book market is oversaturated and even somewhat decent works are easily buried under tons of Marvel and DC schlock.
While the game sadly lacks any voice acting, the ambient music adds greatly to the comic book vibe.

The puzzles were decent but very few and pretty easy.
The timed events did force the player to act quickly but having to read makes it impossible to pass these events on the first try, so you have to die a few times to figure out the solution. I get what they were going for, but putting Action into text-based point & click games never made any sense or success.

The story was interesting and some characters were somewhat funny and sympathetic but because the game was so short, it all felt very rushed. It is a point & click game, you could have made it longer for story's sake. This is a game, not an actual comic book, you don't have to care about pacing or feel cornered! Or maybe they simply wanted to be one and done with this project? ...From what we have seen, it clearly seems so.

I started noticing translation errors appear more often in the 2nd half of the game. Many have complained about it.
It has been 5 years and the devs didn't bother proof-checking their work?!? Shows their attitude towards their work..
Why should I check out their future games if that is how they treat their product?
I get it, the developers are French, but even using Google translate would fix like 50% of the basic English grammar errors!!

Don't buy at the ridiculous full price, on sale it is around $2 which is fine enough for such a flawed little game.
Also no achievements? Shows the devs really did want to wash their hands off this project and leave.
Check it out if only because of the art style. Otherwise, I would not recommend it.

A very entertaining game, that mostly plays like an Interactive Visual Novel. The few choices you can make when given an option in dialogue, does not matter, as the end result is the same. The puzzles are rather easy, but no explanation of how to play them is given, however, they're generally easy to figure out. That point made it more entertaining for the fact one should not suffer any frustration, and the puzzles are mostly quick, so you end up back into the story, and some action.
It is important to read almost all of the dialogue since there is no voice acting, except for some sounds the main character makes, and maybe the word "damn" once in a while. But if you like stories, reading the dialogue is very worth it.
There is a lot of gore, mostly blood, but its cartoony, so no one should get sick from seeing it. However later in the story, there is one part that might cause one to reject the action they must do in order to get to the next part in the story. Since I'm unable to reveal the action so as not to spoil the game for readers, I hope instead to intrigue them in wanting to find out what it is.
The game was a low price and very worth it. I even played it twice, one after the other, which I have never in the history, of playing video games ever done. This was my first time ever doing that, and I have been playing computer games for almost 30 years.
I think almost everyone ought to enjoy this game, too because it is at one's own pace, no timers, no rush.
I give the game 8 stars.

头一次玩这种风格的剧情游戏，整个流程个人感觉不是太长，部分解密感觉有点卡手但无所谓啦。就是结局有点随便了。音乐和作画风格好喜欢，配音也好喜欢。虽然主角也没说几个字。主角一开始以为会很严肃嘞，结果也是一个搞笑人，一些笑话有时候听起来很地狱啊！！结尾的时候在整个地图又散步了一圈，虽然这个小镇烂得一匹但还是有一些可爱的人。有个地方的花纹一直没有参透啊，在一个没有解密机关的地方放一墙的神秘花纹真的超在意啊！最后应该再去看看能不能摸出来什么的。早知道就去看看能不能去店里喝茶了，那么好看的教堂就出场一次啊！主角也是一位猛人。

Un pur chef d'oeuvre,simplement.
De base j'avais pris ce jeu car c'était les mêmes développeurs que Hellslave (un jeu que j'apprécie énormément), par curiosité j'ai lancé, et me voici avec 9 heures de pur plaisir, Le concept est simple, avec un personnage principal très attachant, traitant de divers sujets. Les illustrations sont très plaisantes a regarder, l'histoire fantastique, franchement essayez, ça vaut le coup.

autres point a noter :
-L'OST du jeu est 10/10
- il y a quelques bugs d'affichage concernant les dialogues (certains moments ou un personnage une couleur de dialogue d'un autre, mais franchement si vous suivez bien c'est pas gênant)
- Le jeu a son lot d'énigmes et de mini-jeux (pas très difficiles, et même si vous n'y arrivez pas, il y aura toujours les solutions sur internet :])

Overall : c'est un jeu très sous-côté, n'hésitez pas a le prendre ! j'aurais adoré avoir un DLC ou une suite !

Les scènes/ambiances/cinématiques sont magnifiques et retranscrivent bien le style BD.
Les musiques sont extraordinaires.
L'histoire est sympa si on réfléchit pas trop. Faut s'attendre à du chasseur de vampire à la sauce chrétienne. Ca fait penser à "L'atrappe-coeur" ou "La Mer de la fertilité" qui seraient écrits au premier degré par un ado. On n'est pas forcément en phase avec ça mais on a pas forcément besoin de l'être non plus, pas vrai ?
L'écriture et les dialogues sont très inégaux. Certaines parties sont géniales mais on a de grandes parties du jeu qui semblent avoir été écrites par un garçon de 14 ans qui sort jamais de chez lui. En outre, faut pas s'attendre à un réalisme et une cohérence avancées.
Le gameplay est absolument linéaire. C'est comme quand on lit une bande dessinée, faut juste s'y attendre.
Les mini jeux sont très simples et juste là pour tromper l'ennui et te faire remuer sur ta chaise pour s'assurer que tu as toujours un pouls, au cas où ton cerveau serait parti en vacances entre deux lignes de dialogue mal foutues.
C'est un peu buggé et pas hyper poli aussi mais rien de grave.

Bref, c'est quand même magnifique, ça passe des bangers en fond sonore, ça fait souffler du nez et prend aux tripes des fois et à la fin on a ce petit sentiment nostalgique de "oh c'est fini..." qui fait qu'on n'a pas acheté ça (en solde hein) pour rien.

English translations aren't perfect but it's pretty easy to still get the point across and it doesn't impede any puzzles or mess with my immersion too much. Очень сильная визуальная подача. Каждая сцена как живой комикс — черно-белая графика с акцентным красным выглядит просто потрясающе. Стиль не просто красивый — он втягивает и держит до самого конца. Это один из тех случаев, когда визуал — не фон, а полноценный способ рассказать историю.

Саундтрек — отдельная любовь. Мрачный, атмосферный, местами медитативный, он идеально ложится под темп игры и буквально делает всю атмосферу. Музыка здесь не просто “есть”, она запоминается.

Сюжет вроде бы классический: апостол очищает город от демонов. Но чем дальше, тем больше символизма, метафор и слоёв. И в финале — никакой банальной развязки, а открытый, размышляющий конец, который оставляет чувство, будто история продолжается внутри тебя.

Если вам близки игры с сильным визуальным стилем, продуманной атмосферой и философским подтекстом — The Blind Prophet точно стоит пройти. Не на геймплей, а на ощущения (или очищения) .

美漫电影一般的点触式轻解谜游戏，本人刷到打折看了画风一眼爱上，甚至通关完马上就来写评测了，全程截图没停过，好几个一次性地点恨不得存档挂机当BGM播放器享受得了，奈何只有一个档，感觉明明可以发展续作之类的，体量太小了根本不够看。。。本体翻译居然是盲眼先知吗，那汉化组确实选了个更贴近剧情的翻译，虽然跟内容显得实在都没什么点睛之处，也有可能内容确实很惊艳我吧。。。我打完就只想哭着说这就没了吗，真的吗，呜呜呜呜。。有可能是制作组预算不够吧，明明可以回应更多埋的伏笔，七罪对应又删减成了四大天王，结局也有人说了明明可以给巴塞一个升华的结局，却感觉被腰斩一般给个草席就草草埋葬了，非常可惜。。。。

Головоломки довольно простые, но с исключениями: иногда приходится поломать голову, но всё решаемо.

Point & click court, sympathique et pas très compliqué. Rappelle fortement la bd "Requiem Chevalier Vampire" et le manhwa Priest dans l'ambiance.

Les personnages sont bien écrits, l'humour est au rdv. C'est parfois sinistre et absurde sans en faire des caisses.
j'ai acheté ce jeu en promo sur un coup de tête en ne sachant pas trop à quoi m'attendre, j'ai pas été déçu.

Le jeu n'est pas parfait ceci-dit. On sent ici et là que le jeu est loin du AAA notamment en ce qui concerne les hitboxes de certaines énigmes et interactions, le manque d'options graphiques, mais rien de rédhibitoire.

En bref je regrette pas mon achat.

За 5 годин пройшла, як вода у сиру землю. Проте, як і вода, вона лишила щось за собою. Цікавий арт стиль, що дуже схожий на роботи Френка Мін'йоли(автор коміксів "Хелбой"), дуже нетипова і головне - добре підібрана музика, для кожної з важливих локацій, яка дуже добре підходить до місць де вона грає. Головний герой хоч візуально і схожий на Ґеролтьта з Рівії, проте менш пластичний у своїх рішеннях і судженнях. Він винищує зло, не намагається домовитись чи змінити. Саме такий персонаж - прямий, рішучий і чесний мені і сподобався.

This is a point and click adventure game and it has a lot going for it.

First off, the art style is awesome. Gritty, mature, comic style art. It has lots of detail and is a pleasure throughout the entire game.
The soundtrack doesnt let up either. It has the same gritty, mature style, but varies greatly based on the circumstances youre in. It is just as awesome as the graphics.
The story in itself is pretty good too. You are an apostle sent from heaven to clean up a city tainted by demons. And of course, things get messy along the way.
Aside from the point and click part of the game, where you need to look around for appropriate items and have dialogues with characters, there are also puzzles and minigames from time to time. Theyre not necessarily complex or difficult, but theyre almost always different and provide variety and keep things fresh.

The menu and interface are alright, nothing special, but they dont matter that much here.
There are also some grammatical errors in the English language version and that could be annoying sometimes. The game was made in France.

There are, however, a couple of significant downsides in this game.
The writing has issues. There are some moments regarding pacing and interactions that feel a bit off or that could have been done better. But what is really at issue are the dialogues. They seem very amateurish, some conversations felt pretty out of place. What bothered me most is that I couldnt get a proper feel for the main character. His dialogues fluctuated from being righteous, serious, goofy, slapstick. Considering the tone of the game, they should have stuck with him being mostly serious and focused on his mission.
But the most disappointing part is that the game is cut short by what I feel was about a third to half of what it should have been. The story cuts short quite quick and the ending is rushed. Its very disappointing.

However, it is still a good point and click game for a mature audience and I highly recommend it.

Es excelente. Busqué ayuda con algunos puzzles algo "ilógicos" pero el resto estan muy bien pensados. La traducción al español no está muy bien hecha y hay chistes que se quedan en el medio e incluso frases sin traducir. Recomiendo jugarlo en inglés, quiza en ese idioma esté mejor.

El personaje de Bartholomew tiene grandes momentos.

El arte gráfico y la musica son excelentes. Realmente vería una peli o una animacion basados en este juego.

Tiene un grandisimo final. Algun dia lo voy a repetir.

"Боже правый!" Ну это просто гениальная игра. Я будто бы прочла книгу-комикс за 3 дня с интереснейшим сюжетом, с глубоким смыслом, с харизматичными героями, в дополнение с прекрасной музыкой. Характер главного героя раскрылся: как если бы твой лучший друг при других был с вечной "миной" всезнающего, ворчливого зануды и циника, но с тобой - это лапочка, добряк и просто лучший шутник на свете)) Однозначно в копилку добротных игр.

Artwork is absolute cinema. But I thought we will play Bartholomeus(Protagonist) as a villain. So turns out it is a bit of a cliché hero story. Disappointing.

Sometimes a game has such great art you can forgive it's many other flaws. If the art style in The Blind Prophet appeals to you then good news: There's many unique pieces and they're all really nice. The screenshots do not lie. The whole game is a beautiful, dark urban fantasy. There's no animation but the comic book style panels used for scripted events is well done and brings a lot of energy to the presentation.

The writing is another matter. It's weak. Some of this may be due to the English translation but even if it were cleaned up the story is nothing special. The outline is inoffensive but the character writing and plot beats are weak. The pacing isn't great. The art carries the world building and it's a good thing it's so well done because the prose does nothing for immersion. This hurts the interactivity tremendously. Examining objects is usually a waste of time because the prose just has nothing interesting to say. The writing isn't witty, funny, or insightful but it does try. It just doesn't succeed. It gets the job done to move the story from point A to point B but that's it.

The puzzles are fine. They're not going to challenge you much. At the same time, there's no moon logic puzzles. With the exception of one clunky and frustrating mini-game, the experience is pretty smooth.

Is The Blind Prophet worth your time? Depends how cool you think the art is. Are you willing to put up with a mediocre story and easy puzzles to see it?

J'ai adoré ce jeu, l'ambiance est insane, hyper immersive et ce très rapidement, on est direct embarqués avec le personnage principal hyper attachant et charismatique ainsi que ceux qui l'entourent. La direction artistique, autant visuelle que sonore est zinzin, chaque panel est super bien géré en terme d'ambiance et de dynamisme. Toutes les images sont des fonds d'écran potentiels.
Cependant selon moi, la fin, bien que jolie, laisse un ptit goût d'inachevé avec pleins de pistes narratives pas abordées et quelques questions en suspend (et notamment une semblant avoir été oubliée en cours de récit). Pour autant, le reste de l'histoire reste très captivant et n'est pas spécialement impacté par ces choix narratifs jusqu'à la fin.
Enfin bref, énorme banger malgré les quelques failles, tellement que jsuis déçue de devoir quitter cet univers si vite haha :')

Loved the game, the art, the music, ambiance, and the story but had issues where it wouldn't save and start from the correct places. So after multiple attempts at replaying the game, I was still never able to finish it. I did see some hack in some forums to start from various areas within the game. They worked once but I just go frustrated and moved on. I would say I do recommend the game but it's buggy.

I love point-&-click adventure games, the gameplay with these aesthetics creates an amazing experience.

The writing is where I give pause both in quality and the ways it reflects dominant culture values. After taking the media literacy class recently... this game would be an interesting analyse. Love me a gritty, Gothic setting and characters. Instead of leaving me saying "F*** YEAH" it's more like... "Oh... ah.. mmm. yeah.."
