Отличный квест. Уникальный арт-дизайн, история выше всяких похвал. Присуствует лавкрафтовский вайб, но со вкусом, без прямого цитирования. Не все пазлы интуитивны без гайда, но у меня опыт в таких играх небольшой, так что жаловаться не буду. Наверное самое главное достоинство - большое количество профессионально озвученных и талантливо написанных диалогов, что очень идет на пользу в этом жанре, т.к. не дает заскучать. С контроллера управляется нормально, отлично выглядит и работает на Steam Deck.

A stunning nightmare, with a hollow heart.

The art is incredible, to say the least. Morbid, grotesque, unsettling- captivating in the way only cosmic horror can be. I couldn't help but to press on until the very end.

The game sets up a compelling dynamic: Charlie is the brains, Mac is the brawn. However, as the story unfolds, Mac seems to become an emotional anchor- Logical and steadfast. Meanwhile, Charlie descends into grief-driven recklessness.

The game asks for investment, but doesn't honour it in the way that you'd expect.

Puzzles are a mixed bag. Much of them can be challenging, complex, and even clever. Others are so obtuse that you might need to refer to a guide to solve them. That's arguably a design flaw.

If you're here for the unrelenting dread and gore, Bone Totem delivers by far. However, that's all that'll be on the menu. Much like tragedy p*rn, it doesn't feel earned, it feels like the narrative ochestrates suffering, demanding without any meaning.

The ending doesn't carry weight in the way that it could have.

Verdict: A gorgeous, but frustrating experience. The art is 10/10, but the story is a wound that doesn't know why it's bleeding.

A few of the puzzles are a bit complex but it's a fun isometric point and click game that really pulled me in and was well worth full price for the twelve hours it took to clear. Not for the faint of heart, but I'm a wuss when it comes to horror and this was manageable. Play it for the story if nothing else - the characters will absolutely make you care about them.

story is great, gameplay is decent, i just wish the gameplay didn't stop every damn time someone has to speak, it's like the developers like hearing themselves talk more than they like people playing their game
there was like 50% dialogue that could have been smoothed over instead of having to sit there or hit the skip key which still took another 5 minutes each time it started up, which only got more grating when i had to reload a save point
you either wanted a game or a visual novel, pick your lane so the rest of us don't suffer for it, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Easily in my top 3 favorite horror games. The art style has that cassette future feel and is blended with excellent cyberpunk body horror and Lovecraftian themes. I enjoyed the story and writing, and got a little emotional at the end, which hasn't happened in a long time with games. I suck at puzzles so I did look up a guide at a few moments but it was very engaging to figure out things on my own and most were pretty clever. Voice acting was really good overall. This is one of the best underwater horror games there is and I highly recommend playing it if you're into that and have a few hours to burn.

This was an incredible journey from start to finish. The puzzles were mostly intuitive and more highlighted just how stupid I am instead of making me feel like I was being misled. The voice acting is phenomenal. The cinematic cutscenes looked really good. The story escalated at a good pace and kept me intrigued. Just an excellent game all around and I highly recommend playing it.

I'm not typically a gamer that enjoys point and click games. I've had this on my wishlist for years after watching CohhCarnage play it and finally decided to give it a shot. It is a great game, not perfect, but the story, environments, and atmosphere really kept me engaged. If you like body-horror, warhammer 40k, and just in general really weird and gory environments, you'd love this game. Reminds me of a lot of Scorn. This is not a game you want to play while eating. There are a lot of parts of the story that won't make any sense at all, but by the end it does a great job of piecing everything together into a coherent narrative. This game really is the definition of a slow burn. You don't really get what's going on until like halfway through the game. That might be a turnoff to some people but it wasn't for me.

I have several cons to this game. They're not big because I was able to finish this game in a few days (something I rarely do), but they are things to be aware of.
[*] Like many point and click games, the puzzles in this can be incredibly obtuse. It has a system where one character can combine items, and the other can break them apart. There were quite a few puzzles where this system was completely unintuitive and honestly make no sense. This isn't really new in this genre, but it's something to be aware of
[*] The environments are incredible dark. Many of them are really well designed, but some of them are so dark that you can't even see the work that the devs put in to make them look beautiful. There are a ton of prompt descriptions that describe what you're seeing, but those descriptions are so unneccessarily verbose that I started to ignore them probably 25%. They honestly seem like the writer just pulled random words out of a thesaurus to describe some things.
[*] I really hope the devs improve the cinematics in their next game. There are many important cinematics in this game that honestly have great animations and graphics, but the camera movements are so hectic and dark that you can barely tell what's going on. It's like watching some action movies where they put in a ton of cuts to hide that the actors can't fight. But I don't know why the devs decided to do this, because the animations are genuinely impressive.

All in all, this game is definitely worth it's price, especially on sale. Looking forward to playing the next game these devs put out.

Waaaaaaay overstays its welcome. Characters need to seriously shut up - or at least introduce a more effective "skip dialogue" option. Nonsensical android bear doesn't like water. Just thought you needed a 48th reminder. The puzzles are INCREDIBLY poorly devised to the point I was missing old low-tech classic point-and-click puzzlers (Maniac Mansion, Shadowgate, etc.). Oopa, almost forgot to take my back medicine. I'm well into chapter 4 and I'm just trying to force my way to the ending because the game has felt like overdue homework for a while now. I don't know what trauma I have experienced in my childhood inspiring the self-loathing endeavor of finishing this yawner. I may have reverse survivor's guilt after it is all over, wishing I was one of the lucky ones who uninstalled after 30 minutes. God... is this John McClane woman running barefoot through metal shards, alien feces corpses, and literal lava now? Awesome sauce.

A true gem in storytelling. So glad I stumbled onto it. The story was a real tearjerker. I found the motivations very believable. The gameplay although primitive was also kind of nice because it didn't distract too much from the storytelling.

Must admit got hung up and looked at a guide 2 times. I might not be terribly good at this sort of game but very good at feeling extremely heartbroken after.

I really liked the original Stasis. Great storytelling, decent but logical puzzles and very spooky. Cayne was less engaging, going for more shock value as it had weaker writing and bad puzzles. But it was still redeemable and I played through the whole thing. Stasis: Bone Totem is one of the most idiotic adventure, point-and-click games I've ever had the misfortune of playing. It's ludicrously moronic in both puzzles and plot. I wish I'd never purchased this.

Where to begin with the problems....

Let's start with some technical issues. This game is dark as heck. Like "can't see a damn thing on screen" dark. The devs were so lazy they didn't put in a simple gamma adjustment. No, the only way to make things brighter is to turn off the fog (had to look that up) and that removes most of the atmosphere from the environment. At least I can see the screen though much of the environmental spookiness is gone when just adjusting gamma by a notch or two would have done the trick. That should have been my clue that this wasn't well done and it should be refunded. I wish I had listened to my inner voice....

Speaking of voices, the voice acting is bad. The game is markedly better when you turn off the voice acting because they're flat at best and annoying most of the time. The music, for what there is of it, is entirely forgettable. The graphics are fairly low rent (they'd have been merely adequate around 2010) and motion of the characters is circa-late 1990s. And like Cayne, some of the gore is simply here for shock value and serves no real purpose.

But let's get to the real problems.

(1) The character motivations are absurdly illogical. You board a derelict drilling platform (or so you think). There's no one there. You get in and find a man FLAYED TO DEATH and your first instinct is to say "let's explore more"! People in the Friday the 13th movies showed more common sense than that. Then one of the characters says "okay, but if we see anything else we're out of here". And they find FOUR MORE dead people and continue on anyway like you're in for a Sunday stroll. Choice after choice made by these characters are just so dumb it's beyond belief. It's just terrible writing.

(2) Each character has an ability - one can break things apart, one can combine things and one is good at hacking. Great. Except some of things you can combine or break apart make no sense. At least twice I was reading the guide (because there's no way you're solving these obscure puzzles on your own - more on that in a moment) and saying to myself "how would anyone know that splits in two?" or "why would you combine those things?". Furthermore, you can easily trade inventory items between characters except they're located in vastly different areas. This game mechanic makes absolutely no sense. Character A has a tool and can suddenly transport it to Character B who is far, far away and under 10,000 feet of water? What kind of logic is this?

(3) The puzzles are often nonsensical. This is partly because you're dealing with future tech of which those of us in the present have no knowledge of. But time after time there are puzzles that you're never going to figure out on your own unless you just try everything or read a guide. Neither option is fun. I rarely needed a guide in Stasis. I don't think I'd have gotten even in the ship without their walkthrough. The puzzle design is awful because it rarely has any logical basis. Why would simple things like industrial wheels have arcane symbols? Why

And then the illogical story and puzzles combine into huge mess of idiocy. Imagine if you're in a basement of a school with 20 lockers and one is locked. Someone is on the 2nd floor of the school bleeding out and the 3rd person is all the way over in the gym. Except they're urging you to break into the one locked locker because that's going to somehow save the person bleeding out without having any idea of what's in that locker that would somehow save person #2. It makes NO SENSE and that happens all the time in this dumb universe.

Which brings me to another issue. The guide tries to be coy and won't actually give you the answer. Many times you need a code or something to input that's found elsewhere (by another character who wouldn't have a clue that some random number is a clue). The guide won't give you that code. There have been a couple of puzzles where I honest to God cannot figure out where those numbers came from and had to search all over the web for the solution. If your game is so obtuse that a guide is needed, don't be cute - provide the damned answer in the guide.

(3) Having 3 characters makes everything feel far too disjointed. I don't know where each character is or what they're supposed to be doing. I appreciate the attempt to tell 3 puzzles simultaneously but it makes everything feel far less coherent.

(4) As you get into the story, the descriptions of some things and perhaps even some of the dialog were almost certainly written by AI. And considering this was done in 2023, it wasn't good AI either. It's just bad with some of the hallmarks of early AI efforts like an overabundance of ellipses. Unlike some gamers I'm not necessarily anti-AI but I'd like to know that it was used. The more I play, the more I see it.

In conclusion, I just don't see anything redeeming in this game after around 4 hours. Some people say the story picks up. Maybe it does but I'm not interested in guiding 3 crayon-eating, mouth-breathing, psychic morons through a series of nonsensical puzzles to try to experience a second-rate, pure shock value story which seems to be where this is headed.

Stasis: Bone Totem is one of the dumbest, most illogical adventure games I've ever had the misfortune of playing. After 4 hours I have yet to find any redeeming qualities in this game. The fact that it's somehow rated Very Positive on Steam makes me question my humanity and whether or not our species deserves to exist. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

It's so bad that I've elected to not even try BEAUTIFUL DESOLATION which is by the same group of crayon eating mouth breathers that somehow excreted Stasis: Bone Totem.

A evolução da série Stasis sem dúvida. Gostei bastante dos visuais, história e das melhorias na jogabilidade. Os puzzles são interessantes e nenhum absurdamente difícil ou totalmente sem sentido. A expansão do lore desse universo também me agradou muito. Ótimo jogo e altamente recomendável para quem gosta de adventures!

Great Point and Click Adventure with an engaging story. Puzzles are logical throughout, and while the story does take some time (not too long) to get going the initial slow burn is necessary for the emotional payoff at the end. A good game overall, even though it takes time to grow on you. The atmosphere is great but the story is somewhat slow and partly déjà vu. I started to lose interest about halfway through, but then it started to get really interesting after a particular encounter. Persist and you shall be rewarded !

Solid point and click adventure game, that is very enjoyable and well written. The game's writing gets a little wokey towards the end, but overall I still fall on positive as a recommendation.

My main gripe about the game comes from story beats towards the ending, so don't read the following if you're considering playing.
[spoiler] Faran and Moses relationship was the best moment in the entire game, and from the point where that storyline ends, The game peaks, and it's all down hill from there. Character turns are strange and kinda counter intuitive, the worst character in the game survives were the others die, is some top tier ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. In terms of horror details the game also peaks way too early with what I'll describe as "The Red Tree" being the peak of horror. If you're playing this game and want the best ending, I'd say to stop right after the Moses and Faran story ends.[/spoiler]

Usually I give a game a negative review when I get pissed off by it, but this time it's one me. I took wrong approach. I have not played this types of games for a long time, because I always get stuck at some point with hundreds of items that doesn't seem to have a use. This time I actually looked at a guide and the experience was still worth it. There is no shame in looking at a walkthrough if the story is solid and this was certainly the case.

The game is great! Admittedly, I found a 100% walkthrough that I found online to avoid the frustration of not knowing what to do next, but still found the game enjoyable due to the dark setting and unique twists, especially as you got closer and closer to the end. Without a guide I suspect my playtime would have been much longer (but more frustrating). I feel like this game deserves more recognition that it gets.

Some great puzzles, some exhausting puzzles. An incredible story, mixed with contrived plot points and some incredible dialogue mixed with constant "I'm ok" "are you ok". overall I would recommend this point n click, even if it is a bit of a misery fest.

Buena aventura point and click. Con ambientación y actores de voz destacados.
La mitad del tiempo vas a estar resolviendo puzzles y la otra mitad leyendo.
Los puzzles son muy ingeniosos y si bien no son dificiles en si mismos, si puede ser obtuso el como llegar a ellos, o conseguir las piezas necesarias o simplemente encontrar el camino correcto, ya que muchas veces varias rutas no se presentan hasta que lleguemos a cierto punto con un personaje, y esto puede hacer frustrante el gameplay. Recomiendo explorar con detenimiento cada nivel con todos los personajes e ir rotando cuando te quedes sin opciones, asi la experiencia va a ser mas ligera.

Amazing story, challenging but fair puzzles, and an inspired art style.

It looks like there was some controversy about the use of GenAI in the game in the past, but it appears to have been addressed. I would suggest not letting concerns about that worry you if you're on the fence about buying.

Это не тот STASIS, которого я ждал, но как самостоятельная игра в мрачном морском сеттинге играется очень бодро (насколько может быть бодрым классический point-and-click квест с тремя персонажами и головоломками).

Сюжет стал прямолинейнее, чем в первой игре. Там приходилось собирать лор по крупицам, вчитываясь в строки разбросанных тут и там журналов команды корабля, опасаясь смерти и безумия. Здесь лор скармливается крупными блоками, и нет нужды его дополнительно где-то искать. Опасности предсказуемые, естественные и очевидные, так что хоррор здесь больше психологический, чем геймплейный. Сюжетный твист в конце немного меняет восприятие прежнего повествования, но не так драматично как в первых частях.

Из плюсов: завезли локатор для поиска точек взаимодействия. Без этого можно было бы свихнуться от пиксель-хантинга на мрачных экранах игры.

Из минусов: ачивка на прохождение без пропуска диалогов. Если вы этого не сделали при основном прохождении, то следующий забег обещает быть крайне душным. Мне приходилось даже оставлять открытым игровое окно и идти заниматься своими делами.

В остальном, это крепкий "квест" в духе старых приключений эпохи конца 90-х. Ценителям рекомендуется к ознакомлению.

If you're a brave bear you'll get through it.

Really liked the dialogue and characters and the wider world building, not having played the previous stasis games that was the most engaging part. Managed to finish it without having to use clues/walkthrough 90% of the time, though most puzzles are fairly logical and sometimes even if youre not paying attention item spamming the puzzle works out; if you've picked everything up as you go along. Overall a strong reccomendation and will be on the look out for the next game by the brothers.

Amazingly well made Point n' Click. Uses its format to make its narrative really work. QSD is a bit of a ludonarrative iffy thing; but as a gameplay mechanic also works well at checkpointing/gating sections while maintaining fluidity between characters' journeys.

This is one of the few point and click adventure game i played in my life. Normally i avoid them for being too simplistic. I also am not a huge fann of isometric games with the only exception being Disco Elysium. What made me get into this games was the atmosphere and the premise. So I said "eh lets give it a try".

After arriving at the Deepsea station and completing the first few puzzles... i was hooked. In a way no other game made me feel. No idea what it was. Maybe the beautifully crafted environment or the puzzles but i really clicked with me. I played for six hours straight.

The game feels like Alien meets GOW. Everything shows how much effort the developers put into the game. Especially the graphic designers. The story is immersive and really makes you feel attached to the characters. Superb voice acting.

A game you dont find often those days.

🖱️ Mecánica: Un point-and-click clásico modernizado inteligentemente. Destaca el sistema de inventario compartido, que permite transferir objetos instantáneamente entre personajes separados físicamente, eliminando el tedioso "backtracking" habitual del género y agilizando la resolución de puzzles.

Pros: +creepy atmosphere from the get go and gets creepier and more disturbing as the game progresses from the sound effects to the music keeping you on your toes.
+Good story line that keeps you wondering why and what until near to the end.
+puzzles are a good challenge and doesn't need *much* back and forth between areas
+no big back tracks if you do make a mistake and die, simply pick up where you died from seconds before with no progress lost (other than if you're achievement hunting for no loads)
+game pulls you in and keeps you wanting to explore until the end
+can be played with just a mouse, or a controller.
+all 3 characters are linked to help each other by finding puzzle pieces and doing things for each other in order to progress
+good autosave mechanic for if you forget something in the previous section or make a mistake and want to go back

Cons: -movement speed can feel clunky and drag a bit
-VHS tapes don't show on the screen at all when searching for them so it's easy to miss them while playing unless following a guide, and even then some events needed to be played which isn't mentioned on some guides before the tape can be collected.
-some of the pieces to puzzles aren't obvious that you'd need to combine them or break in order to progress and the hints don't give much in the way of help if you do get stuck.
-cut scenes/death scenes I've often been saying to myself "what am I even looking at here?"
-sometimes unnecessary long dialog that can stop you from progressing into another area sooner if you're not skipping the dialog, and even if you are skipping dialog it doesn't really skip fast enough so you're still mashing the skip button if you're trying to progress faster (to collect things you missed or on a second/third play through)
- [spoiler] no real sense of danger of death when playing the game, even when you are trapped and the area is filling with water you can take as much time as you like to complete the puzzle to progress even if the music and sound effects are driving you to complete as fast as possible [/spoiler]

Mid between pro & con: PDA's and other view points when right clicking don't really give you any extra info or hints. Although I liked the story telling somewhat on the first playthrough when going through the PDAs and terminals where you can read/look at things it's mostly filler that can be completely skipped over. The ping which shows you not only important things to look at (like a terminal or a path to go) also shows you things that your character sees, like a puddle or a wall...and then fills some of the screen with text about what they're seeing or feeling about that thing. I felt personally it was unnecessary and they could have just verbalised what they think about looking at that thing if you clicked on it (without the need to stand and skip the dialog between)

Overall summery: It's a good point and click game that I enjoyed playing through even with the small annoyances.
I'd recommend buying in a sale. Takes about 2-3 playthroughs to get all achievements.

I mean.. if you like books go ahead, but when I open up steam I usually want a game, not a listen to some characters I dont know yap to each other constantly, stopping all gameplay until you let their tangent run its course, and then read 100 pages of PDA thrown at you right out of the gate that I'm gonna forget the second I put it down anyways. I mean golly you already got the characters yapping nonstop why not have that be the PDA's instead, cant they tell me the contents while I play?

None of these paragraphs or books come to you naturally or after youve already played the game for AT LEAST an hour to care enough about sitting down and learning the lore. Nope, just a PDA sitting here, a PDA sitting there, everything you hover over gets to show you another paragraph of info. I mean right off the boat its time to read a novel and listen to Bob and Susan have relationship issues or something.

Fantastic point and click adventure game. I regret skipping it earlier because the title and cover didn't look like something for me, also somewhat intimidating. Behind the horror and gore lay a traditional p-n-c adventure game that didn't require combat of any sort, set in a cyberpunk world with lots of interesting tech to interact with, interesting mystery and rich lore. Other than that, graphics are great, voice acting is great too.

I really enjoyed exploring the immersive environments, the three-character system was fun with the pain-free shared inventory. The puzzles were intuitive and logical, and even when you got stuck, the available hints are helpful without spoiling things, and the solutions (like door codes) are always found nearby (like a room or two away, not something you have to memorize hours earlier). The game's designed where your characters are naturally blocked from backtracking too far, so retracing your steps to look for anything missed is never a hassle. I really appreciated this design element.

So.. I wasn’t even 30min in when I thought something was off. Unfortunately, I’m in a position where I come into contact with gen AI a lot in my day job, so I especially frowned upon the flavor text describing the environment. "Sounds like AI" crossed my mind, but I thought it was probably just my imagination and that the game likely came out before the whole hype anyway.

Well.. the feeling didn’t go away, so I looked at reviews and googled. Yup, this is (or at least was) permeated with AI assets.

The devs have also admitted it and claimed they removed everything and replaced it with real art when the first accusations came up. I obviously can’t prove it, but the texts definitely don’t read like that. Also a bunch of the art later in the game still looks borderline obvious like AI slop to me.

Just google "stasis bone totem ai" and read a couple of Reddit threads, watch the review of MandaloreGaming and look at the statement the devs made if you want more info.

I don't know what your stance on this is (and tbh I don't really care), but for my part I will refund the game and put the devs on my blacklist. It’s a pity, because I liked the first STASIS a lot, but there are many reasons why I really don’t want any gen AI slop in my games. This will only get worse and worse, if we allow it.

바다를 탐험하는 부부 맥과 찰리 , 평범한 탐사를 하던 어느날 갑자기 그들의 눈앞에
버려진 시설이 보이고 그들은 가벼운 마음으로 탐사를 준비한다.
하지만 그들이 발을 들인 순간 이미 돌아갈 수 없는 엄청난 사건에 휘말리게 되는데...

고전느낌이 물씬나는 심해 호러 포인트 앤 클릭 게임.
출시할때 보자마자 확 끌렸었던 비주얼이었는데 아마 20세기를 기억하는 사람들
혹은 2000년대 초 영화채널에서 종종 방영했었던 바다를 무대로한 다양한
고어연출이 많은 괴물이 등장하는 영화들을 접한 기억이 있는 사람이라면 굉장히 반가울것이다.

게임방식은 정말 클릭으로만 해결이 되는데 , 주인공을 3명으로 분할하여 각각 다른 지역에서
전송도구를 통해 물건을 서로 전송해주면서 퍼즐을 해결해 나가는 방식이다.
각각 주어진 능력이 다른데 이를 잘 활용해야 문제를 해결해 나갈 수 있다.
퍼즐방식은 머리를 써가는 방식이라기 보다는 다양한 단서를 잘 활용해서 풀어내는 방식이다.
주로 단서들이 맵 곳곳에 상호작용 가능한 오브젝트에 반쯤은 대놓고 있는 편이나
그 수가 꽤 많기 때문에 개인적으로는 캡쳐기능을 활용해서 단서란 단서는 다 캡쳐를 해두는것을
추천한다. 그렇지 않으면 기억이 안나서 일일히 케릭터 움직여서 다시 돌아가 확인해야하는
불상사가 발생한다. 다만 몇몇 퍼즐들은 단서와 같은 그림을 맞추는 방식인데 문제가 있다면
규칙성보다는 그냥 같은 모양나올때까지 누르다 보면 되는 방식도 있긴하다.

다만 퍼즐 자체에 머리를 많이 써야하는것을 싫어하는 사람이라면 차라리 이런방식이 나을수도 있으나
가장 큰 문제는 퍼즐이 정말로 많다. 지독하게 많은데 그 사이사이 엄청난 대사량과 곳곳에 세계관이나
이 시설내에 벌어진 사건을 짐작가능한 다양한 읽을거리가 굉장히 많다. 일일히 읽다보면 시간이 정말로
많이 소요는 되나 그것이 오히려 이 게임의 장점이라고 할 수 있다. 많은 읽을거리 , 꽉꽉 눌러담은 컷씬,
미치도록 많은 퍼즐들.... 물론 퍼즐은 좀 많은거 아냐? 하긴했는데 다행인 점은 시간제한을 두는 퍼즐이
없어서 느긋하게 판단이 가능한데 이것이 스토리 측면에서는 긴장감이 많이 느슨할수도 있다.
스토리상으로는 시간이 없다고 굉장히 급하다고 하지만 정작 퍼즐에는 시간제한이 없으니....

특이한 점은 게임의 도전과제 절반이상이 게임오버를 통해 사망장면을 보는것으로 이루어져있는데
뭔가 죽을거같은 느낌이들면 일일히 저장해서 보고 다시 해야하나? 라고 생각할수 있으나
이부분은 굉장히 편리하게 죽자마자 죽기 직전으로 돌아오기 때문에 편리하게 플레이 가능한 부분이다.
다만 사망시 나오는 컷씬이 정말 90년대 심해공포영화 보는 기분이라 고어한 요소를 싫어한다면
굳이 추천하지 않는다. 사실 게임 자체가 굉장히 고어함을 많이 보유하고 있으니 이런부분에 내성이
충분한 사람이 아니라면 일부 맵이나 오브젝트에서도 충격을 받을수도있다.

스토리나 아트 측면으로는 정말 고전의 향수가 물씬느껴지는걸 십분 잘 살려서 너무나도 만족스럽다.
요즘은 상당히 보기힘든 수십년전 그 고어하고 음울한 느낌의 바다배경의 헐리우드 영화를 그대로
보는듯한 느낌이다. 전체적인 플롯은 놀래키는 점프스케어 방식이나 반전을 활용한 충격을 주는
방식보다 점입가경 스토리이다. 플레이를 할수록 점점 빠져들고 결말이 어찌될지 알것같아도
계속해서 보고싶어서 플레이를 하게 만드는 그런 스토리이다.

도중에 그들의 애완로봇 모세스와 맥의 대화가 의외로 기억에 남는다. 처음에는 서로 그렇게 맞지
않았으나 결말에 가까워지자 맥의 심경변화가 크게 보이는데 이 부분이 상당히 인상깊다.

이 이상 적는건 스포일러 처리를한다.

[spoiler] 별것 아닐줄 알았던 탐사는 알고보면 아내 찰리의 계략이었으나 찰리 역시
이정도의 사건일줄은 몰랐다. 탐사를 계속할수록 돌아갈수는 없게 되었고 점점 알수없는
괴이한 것들이 그들앞에 나타난다. 처음에는 세상에 알릴수없는 비밀스러운 인체실험을 하는
연구소라는 생각을 하였으나. 그것은 빙산의 일각에 불과했다. 더 심해로 내려가자 알게되는건
초고대 문명으로 이루어진 또 다른 세상이었다.

처음 찰리는 그저 얼마전 떠나보낸 딸을 다시 볼 수 있게 해준다는 조건을 위해 의뢰를 받아들인것
이었으나 맥은 그것은 그저 복제인간일뿐이라 한다. 하지만 찰리는 다시 한번 딸을 볼 수만 있다면
하는 마음으로 계속해서 나아간다. 최후에 찰리는 문명의 신과 융합까지 해가면서 나아가지만
최후로 남은것은 결국 없게된다. 허상이라해도 만날수만 있다는 마음과 그것을 이해해보려하지만
쉽게 나아가지 못하는 남편 맥. 결국 맥은 문명속의 지도자를 만나게 되고 그에게 영원한 인식을
약속하며 핵을 건내주고 찰리를 지상으로 보내기 위해 자신의 목숨을 바친다. 마지막 순간 딸의
복제인간 녹화를 보면서 말하는 그의 대사가 계속해서 뇌리에 남는다.
"사랑해..두 사람.... 두 사람 다 영원히 사랑해"
신은 녹화를 보는것은 의미없는것이라는 말에도 맥은 '나에겐 의미있어' 하는 장면이
중반부 찰리를 이해할수없다고 선을 그엇던 맥의 본심 역시 찰리와 같았음을 보여준다. [/spoiler]

출시 당시 조금 하다가 텍스트량이 너무 많고 퍼즐 고봉밥이라서 놓았다가 몇년이 지나 다시 해보니
그때 왜 놓았을까 하는 후회가 들었다. 정말로 재미있게 플레이한 게임이었다.
사람에 따라서는 성향이 맞지않거나 , 퍼즐의 방식(혹은 양)이 마음에 들지않아서 별로일수도 있다.
하지만 이런 포인트 앤 클릭을 가장 원초적으로 잘 살려내면서 요즘은 보기힘든 이런 배경과 이야기를
가진 게임을 얼마나 보고싶었던가 하고 생각한다. 퍼즐에 약하거나 게임 자체를 영화 보듯이 슥슥
하고싶은 사람이라면 개인적으로 워크쓰루 영상을 참조하면서 플레이하는것이 더 나을수도 있다.

퍼즐게임을 즐기며 다양한 읽을거리와 알찬 스토리 분량을 원하는 사람이라면 굉장히 만족할것이다.

A nice point-and-click game with body horror aesthetic and great voice acting.

Puzzles are not hard, but I still recommend using walkthrough if you're stuck as some puzzles are obnoxious, requiring for you to either remember the thing 3 screens away that you couldn't interact before or remember some random scheme/picture also 3 screens away. Also about 2 times item combinations were quite strange. But overall puzzles were logical and fun.

A story is interesting and intriguing, I'm not a fan of this ending though.

Really compelling, but as soon as you hit the russian sub all of the art becomes extremely ugly and obvious AI generated garbage. Lots of mutated skulls with no actual art direction behind them. Awful, rancid behaviour to hide it and not disclose it.

Mostly follows the rules of a classic point and click adventure game but with a nice added twist of switching between characters in different environments and sharing items found between them to progress, The cutscenes are a little janky, the gameplay is simple, but the story is engaging if not a little frustrating towards the end, overall worth a playthrough if you enjoy the genre with a spooky watery horror flare. Moses for life.

Crazy good from someone who doesn't even like point and click adventure games. It's got a great and engaging story, the voice acting is fantastic, they build tension really well, and the visuals are really impressive. The uncanny valley bear even has a better character arc than what 99% of big budget games can come up with.

Very good point and click game, definitly the best in the series. Wide variety of areas that avoid feeling the same while still being underwater. Occasional hiccup for some puzzles but generally has enough to do for each character that you can switch and work on another puzzle before coming back to one you stuck on. Story overall is good, with some gut punch moments, and is definitly helped by having much better voice acting then the games before it (good lord the voice acting in CAYNE is grating), Stasis's voice acting was alright except for the occasional text to speech voice (I have no idea if it is a purposeful choice or not), anyways needless to say the lines are good and don't detract from this game. It does feel different from the original stasis in that it feels less pure evil. Theres still bad things going on, but there were just fewer moments that made me hateful towards CAYNE CORP. Might just be prior exposure to the universe, the under the sea direction and the going deeper into hell stuff is a cool direction though if differnt. Overall I'd say its an alright deal at $20, definitly grab it if you see it on sale.

Just finished the game, and it was an awesome experience.

The characters are well written, and you really get to know them as the story unfolds. I would describe this game as Lovecraftian—not because of tentacles here and there, but because of the deeper themes that are such a big part of Lovecraft’s work.

It’s an uncanny journey, but the characters really grew on me, and I became invested in their story and survival. If you start this game, stick with it and don’t take long breaks, as some puzzles require attention and you need time to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere.

Overall, I’d give this game a 9/10. It’s one of the best point-and-click horror games on Steam. If you’re a fan of SOMA like I am, you will definitely enjoy this one.

You don’t need to play STASIS before this game, but if you want to see how much the developers have improved, start with STASIS (maybe using a guide here and there), and then go all in and enjoy STASIS: Bone Totem on your own.

And some good news: the devs are currently working on a new game called Animal Use Protocol. Can’t wait.

I am brave and strong

Wow, this game just keeps going. I kept thinking, "now this has gotta be the big reveal right?" but no, it just keeps escalating. Horror sci-fi(+) P&C with great visuals and brooding music. It's very cleverly designed around a shared inventory across three characters. Progressing in one character's story requires progress in another character's story. A handful of other games have done this before, but I think Bone Totem was definitely designed this way from the start; it informed everything, how information was revealed, how puzzle clues were found, the whole thing felt personal and evenly paced to all three characters. There were a handful of puzzle solutions that had me giving the game moon logic stink eye, but nothing too major--on average the puzzles were quite good, with a number of minigame and logic driven puzzles. The writing and VA is stellar, and you can feel the trauma experienced by all the characters, even side characters. As mentioned, Sci-fi+ and I have to add the plus because this game really worked hard to tie together just about every thing in the genre and then kept going. AI, Flesh-horror, meso-american legends, cthulu, military cover-ups, mad scientists, aliens, the nature of god and machine souls--I cannot stress this enough, it really did not know where to stop, and somehow succeeded in tying it all together.

It's also quite a bit longer than your average P&C

Неплохая игра. Изометрический квест вообще редкий зверь. Сразу вспоминается Sanitarium. Из той же эпохи - композитор первых Fallout.

Если забыть про любовь авторов к пространным дневникам для каждого второго трупа слева и порой бессмысленным диалогам (которые ради достижения нельзя пропускать), то сюжет приличный. Он абсолютно предсказуем в том плане, что сразу, как попадаешь на заброшенный в следствие некоего происшествия объект, примерно понимаешь дальнейшее развитие событий с учетом заявленного направления (то есть хоррора). Кровь, кишки, трупы, куча достижения за жуткие смерти каждого из трех подопечных. Кстати, вот еще одна довольно сомнительная тема: возможность передавать друг другу предметы. Хитро, конечно, но все равно смотрится не очень.

Есть в чем совершенствовать концепцию. Жаль, что будущая игра этой студии будет уже от первого лица. Ничего оригинального или интересного я в этом не вижу - в отличие от изометрического квеста вроде серии Stasis.

Stasis: Bone Totem was a fantastic experience, you can really feel it has been done by people with great passion for game making.
The story, characters, atmosphere, cut scenes are on the top level. There are memorable scenes that will last in my memory for long after play.
Pinnacle of point&click adventure, puzzle game.

GRAN HISTORIA, NO CREÍ QUE CONECTARÍA TANTO CON LOS PERSONAJES, SI TE GUSTA EL AMBIENTE LOVECRAFTNIANO TE VA A ENCANTAR, GIROS DE TRAMA QUE NO TE ESPERAS, Y GRAN CANTIDAD DE PUZLES; En lo personal algunos siento que están muy rebuscados pero nada del otro mundo; eso si, vas a tener que leer mucho para entender mejor la historia.

Fun horror game for when you want to play something creepy and scary but not necessarily be on the edge of your seat fighting for your life. take your time and solve puzzles using clues in the environment and objects that you find throughout the game.

The story is interesting and compelling and had me wanting to keep playing to discover more and see how the story ends.

[h1]Rodzinne wakacje na dnie oceanu[/h1]

Point & Click niby nie żyje, a tu proszę – w STASIS: BONE TOTEM ten rozkład to akurat największa zaleta. Twórcy wrzucili starą mechanikę do blendera z Event Horizon i pracami Gigera, a potem wcisnęli guzik. Wyszła z tego niezła izometryczna wycieczka do piekła, gdzie puzzle oznaczają grzebanie w czyichś flakach.

[b]WIZUALNIE (I TECHNICZNIE)[/b]
To jest sztos, chociaż specyficzny. Lokacje są szczegółowe i... mokre. Czuć tę wilgoć, smar i krew, biomechanika miesza się z jakąś chora religią.
[b]⚠️ Uwaga dla posiadaczy OLED:[/b]
Jedna rzecz mnie wkurza technicznie – na OLEDzie gówno widać momentami. Czerń jest tak głęboka, że detale giną i kontrast myli. Musiałem podbijać jasność, bo zamiast chłonąć klimat, walczyłem z ustawieniami. Trochę słabo to rozwiązali, powinni to lepiej ogarnąć.

[b]JAK SIĘ W TO GRA?[/b]
Sterujesz trzema postaciami: Mac, Charlie i misiek Moses.

[*] [b]Moses[/b] - wciśnie się tam gdzie człowiek nie może :) jedyna jego zaleta, misiek jest brzydki i irytujący.

Przełączanie się między nimi i "teleportowanie" przedmiotów ma sens, ale wymaga przyzwyczajenia. Czasami biegasz w te i we wte, bo nie pamiętasz gdzie widziałeś konsolę. Ten backtracking bywa upierdliwy, wybija z rytmu.

[b]FABUŁA[/b]
Historia o korpo, Cayne (to chyba nowy mesjasz) i kultach jest ciekawa, ale w sumie to głównie czytanie logów z PDA trupów. Tekstu jest masa. Mnie to nie przeszkadza, warto czytać książki to i tu się człowiek odnajdzie, ale jak ktoś liczy na filmową akcję to się zdziwi. Historia jest poprawna, lovecraftowska w duchu.

Generalnie – solidny koszmar. Gra ocieka klimatem (i płynami ustrojowymi). Warto zagrać dla samego designu świata i unikalnej postaci Misia Mosesa.

✅ Fanów horroru i Gigera
✅ Cierpliwych czytelników
❌ Ludzi z kiepsko ustawionym ekranem (serio, nic nie zobaczycie)

Ocena: 4/6 (mogło być lepiej technicznie, ale klimat robi robotę).
