Батарейки формата D - новая крипта мира космических дальнобойщиков, кто бы думал, что они нам когда-то еще пригодятся и будут стоять тысячи долларов?)))
За этим точно стоит какой-то заговор капиталистов, ибо космические двигатели почему-то неспособны обеспечивать электричеством системы корабля и нужно вручную менять батарейки, которые одноразовые, по всему салону :-)

В остальном первые 6 часов игры очень порадовали. Когда вникаешь, в то, как работают расходники и парковка задним ходом - первичные сложности заканчиваются и начинается норм игра.

Надеюсь в конце игры будут найдены прыжковые врата к Земле и можно будет сгонять в Алмазный xD

Genuinely fun, comfortably challenging, entertaining voice acting, great music, beautiful scenery and atmosphere.

The campaign ("side jobs") is kindof short; I finished it in about 20 hours without rushing, but it does end teasing future expansion. (To be fair, that's 20 hours on my second save slot; I spent a little over 6 hours learning the basics on my first save slot.)

Controlling the truck is a pain at first but it's really rewarding developing the skill to maneuver it effectively.

The default settings are a little too challenging; like others I recommend starting a custom game and turning down the power consumption a notch or two, among other tweaks (there are a lot of videos out there about it, so I won't bother listing them here).

In short, I [i]love[/i] this game and highly anticipate its future updates. [b]Highly recommended[/b].

[b]My hopes for the future:[/b]
-Balance/rework scavenging and trading such that you need to spend skill points to spec into these activities to make them viable. It's a little silly that right now pretty much throughout the entire game you can earn way more money trading and scavenging than by making hauls.
-Hardcases that don't begin spinning when you open them in zero-g
-Actually seeing the other truckers from the side jobs (instead of only hearing them on the CB)
-Customizable (or silenceable) horn
-A way to reopen the store or job interface from the driver seat if you close it (or be able tab over to the map on the Job list)
-The ability to hitch up trailers from multiple jobs simultaneously
-Cargo nets and/or a lip on the cargo racks and/or more fixed storage like the hidden compartment
-Additional cab styles and/or different vehicles altogether (zipping around in those little tugs to scout, scavenge, or make small deliveries would be really cool)
-The ability to recharge power cores
-Customizable exterior light style & color
-Engine propellant color customization

I played this on a gamepad and instantly realized this game has a HUGE flaw. This is a 3D space transport game, but your "truck" lacks multidirectional thrusters, which in zero G 3D space navigation is beyond ridiculous and infeasible. If this was done as a measure to favor entertainment over realism, it failed miserably and makes the game not only unrealistic, but less enjoyable by intentional design. Just because I don't agree with the devs creative vision, or lack of basic space navigation understanding, doesn't mean you have to agree with me and buy this title under the pretense its awkward and cumbersome on purpose.

It's a fun game. I can't condense into words how fun and charming it is to play while listening to a podcast or watching a show. The game is a perfect blend of being difficult enough to be fun, while not being difficult enough to get angry.
If the concept intrigues you, you should get the game, especially if it's on sale.

It's not fun.

IMHO it's a stupid premise but that's not important.

It's a botched execution of something that COULD have been fun.

DEV -- seriously, this game just is "meh"; like this could have been truck driving, goods trading, engine fixing, exploration fun! But instead you flushed any sensible QoL down the toilet, turned this into a button-mashing nightmare, and called it "Game Play". It's an insult to people who are not Reddit / Lemmy Mods.

Bought it the moment I Heard it FINALLY got HOTAS Support. I don't think I had this much fun in ANY other Space Sim/Game with my T-Flight HOTAS One. The lack of Lateral Movement actually adds to it, makes you think about flying, you can't just BS your way around.

Outside of that, the game is VERY hard, does not screw around, your routing matters, hitting things sucks, anomalies in different systems is a fantastic way of adding stakes.

Что ж, я прошёл всю кампанию Star Trucker и готов поделиться опытом -

Для кого игра - для любителей неспешных симуляторов дальнобойщика типа ETS и ATS и/или для любителей космосимов в стиле Элитки.

Плюсы -

- отличная атмосфера пыльных хайвеев США, кантри-рока и больших траков, но в космосе
- отличная графика
- наличие озвученного сюжета
- разные виды грузов и локаций
- чувство прогрессии с открытием новых лицензий, секторов, гаджетов и возможностей
- разные "погодные условия" в космосе с разными способами их обойти
- менеджмент электропитания и обслуживания грузовика, вплоть до освещения, заправки, латания пробоин итд
- неплохая кастомизация внешнего вида грузовика и система апгрейда характеристик

Минусы -
- затянутая кампания с очень однообразными поручениями и минимальной наградой за неё
- видно, что разрабы сами не знали что придумать в концовке, поэтому её особо и не сделали
- менеджмент электропитания, заправки и смены расходников немного надоедает под конец, благо в настройках можно менять настройки геймплея, чтобы избавиться от рутины
- нет рандомных ивентов в пути, локации довольно статичные, хоть по ним и катаются грузовики и происходят погодные явления, но в целом мало что может дать после 10 часов игры

В целом, как любитель симуляторов грузовиков и космосимов - я остался в восторге и свою порцию космической романтики получил. Игра явно не для всех, потому что она про путь, про процесс неспешного развоза грузов под чаёк и радио и прокладыванием самых выгодных маршрутов из пункта А и пункт Б.

Жду новых апдейтов, а лучше сразу вторую часть, в которой сделают игру больше, потому что потенциал точно есть.

I love this game, but I understand why others don't. The learning curve is a bit sharp. Just take it slow starting out and be patient. If you put in the legwork to learn how to fly safely, it won't be long before it gets really easy. There are some really helpful guides if you get stuck. Once you get settled, it becomes a cozy trucking sim.

Soooo… I'm left with another game I wish had a 'neutral' recommendation. Star Trucker has a lot of charm, personality and good ideas that make me really [b]really[/b] want to recommend it but its got [i]soooo many[/i] little issues that kept dragging me out of the experience that I ultimately hit a point where I just couldn't keep going.

The positives of the game are quite enjoyable and, even with all the issues I'm about to mention, it still may well be worth grabbing it on a discount to give it a try and enjoy for a dozen hours or so. Sound design is great, the atmospheres are really pretty, the job variety isn’t amazing but it’s a trucker game and fits well for the most part. I do wish there was more ambient music other than just the radio; if you keep the radio off, the game will occasionally play short little spurts of really nice Eve Online like ambient music which was very nice. Story missions are nothing to write home about but they give a variety of monotony breaking things to do whenever you're feeling up to it.

Unfortunately, the problems started pretty early. So long as you play the game like a simulator game, take your time and drive like you actually want to survive, you can overcome most of the challenge of the game within 2-4 hours. Do a couple missions for decent pay, replace all the basic equipment you have with + or ++ variants and you can ignore the majority of your instrument panel for another 4 hours.

On 3 separate occasions I ran into a bug where activating a warp gate caused my rig and cargo hull to take 100% damage. Unfortunately, the game auto-saves [i]after[/i] you arrive on the far side of the gate so I just had to eat it the $5-9000 loss each time. Was incredibly frustrating to do a long haul and, 1 jump away in a 5-jump delivery, go from a +$8000 job to a -$3000 job through no fault of my own. I got to the point where I just tried to remember to manually save before every jump just in case.

The game has a skill tree with two node types: primary nodes that unlock different types of jobs and secondary nodes that give you small perks like longer EVA time, cab carrying capacity and the ability to do jobs with multiple trailers. With that last one you'd probably think '[i]cool, I get that perk and I can take on multiple jobs, haul them at the same time and be more efficient[/i]', the game even unlocks the ability to take multiple jobs right around that point too! Nope, you can [b]never[/b] hitch cargo from different jobs together. If you read the description of the skill, it [i]does[/i] specifically say you get 'clearance for jobs with multiple trailers' but its not at all clear you can't create your own jobs with multiple trailers. If it were a primary, job-unlocking type of node, at least that would have made a little more sense but it took making another $6000 mistake and a web search to figure it out.

The game has 2 driving modes: assist and manual. Assist is basically required if you want to be able to play the game but adds a drift friction for some reason so, when you release the throttle, you slow down. You can turn off the 'driver assist' function which turns off friction but also makes the rig virtually uncontrollable. I would have much preferred not to have to be constantly using cruse control to maintain a reasonable speed.

And there are many, many more little nits that picked at me the whole time (no cargo straps so your stuff is constantly being thrown around, cab cargo weight limit for some reason in zero-G, rig upgrade durability suddenly going from 100 to 0%, occasionally being fined for 'reckless driving' even though I have no idea what constitutes reckless driving, being unable to pull up the map when trying to decide which job to take, solar zones being absolutely atrocious to pass through, getting a traffic violation fine when someone runs into ME as I'm backing into a docking port, etc.).

But what finally got me to call it quits was being called into a weight station and charged a $1500 'fine for littering'. I have no idea what caused it. I have to assume it was because either I dropped off a pizza between when I was called in and weighing or because I stepped outside to seal a hull breach. Regardless, nothing that was inside my ship was left outside to avoid a weight fine and, at that point, I was just 'naw, I'm out' at that point.

TLDR; the game has some really strong bones but needed a lot more playtesting/bug hunting.

Truck kind of sucks at being a truck or ship. sure it can haul stuff but it sure as hell sucks at doing anything but going in a straight line. It turns like a barge floating down a river just drifts off into on coming traffic even when actively trying. It feels like you have to over correct to get it to turn at all. they want you to mage thruster heat at all times while dogging traffic, debris, and a truck will not stay at speed forcing you on the throttle constantly, yet they put the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ heat gauge on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ roof. Driving feels like you are on ice with brakes that are stuck on all while trying to keep your car from overheating with a non functing gauge, while other drives have zero breaks or streering. AI drivers are on rials for the most part maybe a minor change in course, most of the time they just sound the horn and ram into if you are even slightly in their path. ♥♥♥♥ breaks or steering for them just ramming speed.....

You know, I used to be a trucker. I also like trucking games and have a lot of hours in them. That said, something about Star Trucker left me feeling a little flat. It could haved been the fact that it seemed like every coin I earned had to go back into supplying my hungry truck with O2 filters, Fuel, and Batteries. It could have been the fact that there really wasn't much in the way of customizing the truck. The CB conversations were a nice touch, but even those felt fairly empty. I mean, asking someone in their first conversation what their "handle" is and then having a complete stranger give you one because you didn't have one? Just. No. It's kinda like you watched "Smokey and the Bandit" and then decided to take all the trucker tropes and make a space game out of them. I mean, I appreciate the fact you tried; It just feels forced, a little cartoonish, and kinda empty. Now that the TL:DR is out of the way, let me get down to some details...

I actually loved the graphics in this game. That's the one major compliment I can give you. Space looks phenominal and each district was supported by the appearance you gave it. You didn't make heavy industrial areas all bright and colorful, they were dark with deep neutral colors. Areas of wonder were supported by wonderous colors. Asteroids looked like asteroids, debris looked like debris, and space stations looked like bloody space stations. The earth-like diners were a nice touch too. I even liked the way the truck looked. Seriously, if I was rating this game solely on the graphics I'd give you 100/100. That said, there's more to a game than graphics.

When we get to gameplay, this is where I felt Star Trucker ran into most of the issues. I realize, in a trucking simulator, your first truck is going to be basically the worst truck you will ever own. It's sluggish, slow to accellerate, can't turn worth a crap. It's all to be expected. That said, it didn't seem like there were any other trucks. You just had unlocks and upgrades for your current truck. Performance upgrades, paintschemes, a couple bobbles to swap out here and there, and that's it. It's the same truck, all the time, you just "upgrade" it.

It would have been really nice to have at least a few styles to choose from at a truck dealership. You could have maybe had a MAN-style cab-over that has 4 smaller engines, giving it a better base maneuverability than the others. Maybe you could have one truck with the International Lonestar type front, possibly with a tri-engine setup that gives you a better base accelleration. You could have a Mack Anthem style truck with a higher base armor than the others, or maybe a larger interior with more storage racks. It seems like a huge missed opportunity, especially in a trucking game.

The second biggest pitfall with gameplay was money. There were only 2 options here. You could spend it all feeding your truck with O2 filters, batteries, and fuel. Or, if you figured out how easy it is to gather "junk", you had so much money that you basically upgraded your truck, customized it's appearance, and technically beat the game leaving you with no real reason to play. There was no middle-ground here. You'd start out getting so frustrated with your lack of money that you'd Google how to make money, learn the trick to being a millionare with virtually no effort, and then the game would be over.

Driving the truck was the other big problem I ran into. When I'd get the truck moving I found myself always chasing where I wanted to go. The fact there were "roads" in space was pretty laughable, but staying on those roads was annoying as hell. You'd slowly start to drift left, right, up, or down and have to make a huge correction to try to stay in your lane. One of the "roads" had me basically pointing at the other lane to maintain my current lane. Then I'd be approaching a dropoff location and suddenly realize I'm going "down" for no apparant reason.
Sometimes it would feel like you're constantly correcting for drift, other times it'd feel like you're fighting gravity from an unknown source, and other times it'd feel like there was no drifting at all. I get that there's inertia in space, it just feels like the intertia wasn't consistent or realistic in any way.

The final issue I had was with "Load Screens"... For a game that takes place in space, the various areas/sectors you visit actually feel pretty small. It only takes about 10 to 15 minutes to cross from one end of an area to the other, and the gates between regions are actually pretty close to each other. This gate travel fills in for loading screens, but the fact you're constantly stopping an activating these gates takes a lot of the "driving" out of "truck driving". In your first 20 minutes of playing, you can expect to go through a minimum of 3 of these loading-screen warp jumps. I get it, a lot of games do this. No Man's Sky comes to mind. That said, in a game like No Man's Sky, between jumps there is a massive area to explore which not only includes an entire solar system but also the planets and bases within that system. Unless you're doing numerous jumps to reach a destination, the likelyhood of you having a "loading screen" every 5-10 minutes is relatively low. In Star Trucker, that's the norm.

All in all, while I really like the graphics of this game, the actual gameplay is where it falls flat for me. That's why, even though it breaks my heart to do so, I can't recommend the game.

Um jogo excelente do começo ao fim. Tem uma história simples, funciona como um tutorial das mecânicas e possibilidades do jogo. O sistema de gerenciamento das necessidades do caminhão/nave são interessantes, trás uma imersão boa ao processo de dirigir pelo espaço, as tempestades solares são desafiadoras (tenho jogado na dificuldade padrão). Eu não vejo a hora passar enquanto jogo e olha que eu só tenho 8h de jogatina, a rádio é boa, as músicas são boas e temáticas, para quem fala inglês, os anúncios são divertidos e coerentes com o universo proposto. Vale cada centavo

Хрен там, это какой-то сраный дарксоулз и безумный хардкор ради хардкора. Батарейки заканчиваются каждые 5 минут, со всех сторон летят камни, летишь тут хуяк солнце ты сгорел, рядом боты пролетают им норм. По мнению дауна на авторе ты не можешь просто довезти груз в игре про грузовики, обязательно надо превозмогать.

You know how most simulator games feel some type of janky in some way not really very good quality... this game feels like an actual game down to little details and feels. Has more emotion and depth then Starfield.. has the love of the game felt from the developers like deep rock galactic.... it what elite dangerous hauling system wish it could be.... will the next d l c include aliens? I love the game, it is very relaxing and unique take on truck simulation the only issue I have with it is the warp gates. Personally I don't like them, they cut driving down and break the immersion a bit. You play music , get into the mood, start to drift and ... warp gate...
However that been said for how it relaxes me and how much I enjoy trucks and truck simulation I have to recommend this game, Its unique especially as it works really well with my steering wheel and I can adjust the settings to remove changing batteries etc if I like to focus more on the driving and cargo delivery which is the part I enjoy more but you do have the option to adjust as you please. ❤️

When I was a kid I really wanted to be a trucker. I even got up early on Sundays to watch a TV show called 'Travel Well, Trucker'. Later I lost interest and the likes of Euro Truck Simulator never really picked my interest. But a trucksim in space? That might be my cup of tea!

And this is more simulator than a casual game about trucking. Playing on the recommended difficulty will show you that. With the meagre gains at the start and the game barely explaining its systems to you, it can feel unforgiving. Luckily there's a custom difficulty to change many parameters, from how fast your power cells drain to how expensive the fines are. So if you want a casual, more narrative experience you can have it.

Talking about narrative, I was not expecting such a good story and cast of characters. Mind you, it's nothing mind-blowing or very deep. It has some very tropey aspects, but it's so well executed it just works. All characters are fully and well voiced. Gameplay progression is tied to story progression, but you have a large margin to just do your thing, no rush.

The game has plenty of zones and there's a good variety there: from cookie-cutter planet orbits to beautiful nebulas, from dark space to asteroid fields, from hell holes to intriguing vistas. Some zones have special 'weather' that require an specfic upgrade and pose different challenges. Solar flares can cook you in your cabin and make visibility difficult, electrical storms can fry your truck's systems and damage sensitive cargo and anomalies are basically invisible asteroids you need to 'scan' in order to navigate safely.

Another thing this game nails are the radios. There's an original radio with some good stuff, but I loved that you can listen to actual online radios inside the game, seamlessly! Lots of 90s and 2000s hits there so it felt pretty nostalgic and kept me going when I'd otherwise stop playing for the day.

I highly recommend you play this mixing keyboard & mouse (for menus and first-person) and a controller (for steering your truck). There's a big update on the works (expected by April at the earliest) that will add more sidejobs and cabin interior customization. It'll be the perfect excuse to replay this awesome game.

Lastly, this game was made mostly by 2 dudes. That's impressive!

this game isnt even worth your money on sale. i stopped playing a year ago due to game breaking bugs. picked it back up 2 days ago and the bugs are STILL THERE. oh but the devs had time to pump out some f*ckin cosmetic dlcs. sweet.

some common issues ive run in to:
-cargo that is too long for the delivery bay
-warping into and out of 'haze way', especially using the new aspen gate will end up with your cargo and usually truck being totalled 100% of the time, this is due to the devs allowing for terrain objects to affect the truck in the system load/warp bubble screen. awesome, well done guys, an entire map that must be completely avoided not because of difficulty but because of r*tardation and spaghetti code.
-if one of the 'side jobs' comes up while youre doing a delivery the GPS defaults to bringing you to the side job
-the GPS will ALWAYS take routes that frankly make 0 sense. 10 jumps to avoid a $150 toll? no problem. an 8 jump course instead of a 4 jump one? obviously! this was done to drag out gameplay by the devs
-the 'side job' characters are a cavalcade of the simultaneously most dry, unenthusiastic and hammed up performances ive ever heard. with the most tenuous adventure hooks ever (apparently none of these shlubs can do anything for themselves, including preparing a gift FOR THE PLAYER CHARACTER, THATS RIGHT FOLKS YOU HAVE TO HAUL AND PREPARE A FIREWORK DISPLAY INTENDED FOR YOU, THE PLAYER, thats literally the lore reason, its not for a nearby hab deck or anything its a gift for you, and you need to do it yourself)
-the alleged 'side jobs' are mandatory for progression. THERE IS NO WAY TO PROGRESS YOUR CAREER BY SIMPLY HAULING AND LEVELING UP AND BUYING UPGRADES YOU NEED TO DO ALL THE FRIEND MISSIONS TO UNLOCK THE WHOLE MAP (honestly, theyre not friends, theyre f*ckin parasites, if people used me the way these people use the PC with nothing gotten in return id probably never speak to them again, in fact even more insultingly they GROSSLY underpay you when they DO pay)

honestly the game breaking bugs in a game thats been out for over a year are the big reason to not buy, especially paired with cosmetic dlc when the player base (all ten of them) have been all but begging for VR, Joystick/Wheel control and some form of Co-Op since day 1. this is not only how you kill a potential franchise, this is how you kill a company, but alas theyll just keep pumping out half baked cookie after half baked cookie and people will keep gobbling it up and wondering why they have salmonella. and honestly its kind of upsetting cuz i want to enjoy this so bad, at its core i really do, but its really hard to love something that keeps slapping you in the face every hour just for interacting with it.

This game overall is very well designed and you can tell a lot of thought went into the different elements of gameplay. It's a very satisfying loop of upgrading, purchasing and completing jobs, made much more enjoyable by being able to complete more difficult loads or longer journeys.

It feels rewarding to keep your rig up-and-running by managing fuel, power, gravity, climate etc and the different sectors of space with different temperatures and hazards make it feel more of a challenge. The graphics are beautiful in my opinion with some of the junctions in the solar provinces looking absolutely majestic.

One small complaint is that it can be very easy to screw yourself over, which can end up in massive fines or a long grind just to get financially stable, but if you are prepare well and with a bit of experience you can become very efficient at avoiding any common or inconvenient troubles.

The Good
- Gameplay Loop. Kept me around and was enjoyable.
- Controls. Easy to understand everything can be rebound.
- Gravity. I really enjoyed learning how to deal with the games gravity system.
- Graphics. IMO, I loved the style the game is presented in.
- Challenges. Nothing felt unfair and was a nice way to push me to 100% the game.
- Difficulty. Before starting a game, you can adjust most settings to make that run more or less difficult.

The Bad
- Story. While I see what they wanted. In the games current state. It left much to be desired.

Overall
I'll keep playing. They keep putting out updates, and given the last few Dev Posts. I am looking forward to seeing this game's future updates.

I like the game, though there is a serious lack of proper tutorial. Have to learn most everything from youtube. My biggest complaint is the how the objective system changes on you.

Arrived in Spark City for first time, spent an hour or so learning how to navigate the storms, as I blew through 4 fuses doing the primary objective, picked up a load to go to Dependency Loop, on the way the main story line continues then changes it directs me to Atlas, didnt realize until 1 jump away. Rage quit, lost 2 hours of gameplay.

Devs, if you see this, please ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fix this.

Видел отзывы про то что в игре плохой баланс экономики и довольно плохое управление самим траком, но как по мне в игре с этим всё в порядке, управление трудностей не вызывало, все жалуются на то что нету стрейфов но как по мне это вообще не проблема, после игры в Elite Dangerous у меня такие вещи проблем не вызывают от слова совсем. Экономика чуть душит в начале игры но просто нужно не сломя голову идти по сюжетным заданиям а параллельно им выполнять и обычные заказы чтобы копить деньгу. Летать по космосу интересно, есть красивые места, прокачка и неплохая механика работы с самим тягачом где нужно постоянно менять батареи, фильтра, латать его в открытом космосе, следить за работами систем. Как по мне вполне хорошая игрушка в которую можно поиграть если надоел ETS и если хочется позаниматься доставкой грузов в необычных условиях, мало того игра постоянно поддерживается разрабами которые вводят новые фишки и исправляют проблемы старых.

It does what it says on the tin - trucking in space. But you also need to be a mechanic, too, fixing your rig as often as driving it (though you can adjust how much mechanical vs flying gameplay there is). And the CB radio makes for some fun, too. Thoroughly enjoying this game so far.

This Game is absolutly amazing. The Graphic is so nice and extremly unique in my opinion. It makes a lot of fun to fly through traffic while looking at the stars and listening to the diffrent radios like Truckers FM (My Favourite). Just all in all a great game highly recommend it.

The space environments are awesome, i love trucking through each system and seeing how different each of them are, if i could id love to have an animated wallpaper on like wallpaper engine or something with one of them

The game play (for me anyways) is really enjoyable, the trucks sound cool from the outside, the handling of everything is great, especially with the update that allowed for peripherals so playing with a throttle and joystick is awesome

I love this game, its not Truck sim and thats a good thing. It's suppose to be a floaty controlling rig because its space, space has no friction duh. It's huge rocket rigs in space with a story element to the game which has you unlock things as you progress. The graphics are amazing and breath taking with each new environment you go to. Also the fact that cargo can be many different shapes and sizes is a nice touch compared to truck sim almost being the same with each trip.

I do have some criticism though, I would have liked to see the maps be bigger with more places to stop and pick up and deliver in their own sector instead of a 2mi away warp gate to bypass the entire map that was created, and more road routes through the map so new players can have a safe passageway instead of flying off into the rock field. Along with more stations and parking lots and overall just more life in each individual map because each seem so small and you're already onto the next environment. The AI can be a pain sometimes if you try to merge with them or if you slow down. Another thing is trying to manage everything on your truck is a challenge but you can always change that in the settings if you want to just truck instead of managing everything.
Other than that I really like this game and what it has going on even with its pain points at times.

Star Trucker es básicamente el “camionero de ruta larga” pero con esteroides de ciencia ficción: manejas tu tráiler espacial, aceptas encargos de transporte y te vas a cruzar el vacío como si fuera una autopista interestelar… solo que con menos gasolineras y más decisiones cuestionables. Es un simulador en el sentido más literal: vas a conducir, gestionar tu viaje y sobrevivir a la logística, porque el espacio no perdona y tu calendario tampoco.

La primera impresión es clara: quiere ser relajante, atmosférico y de mundo abierto, pero también “inmersivo” y con física. O sea, el juego te dice “respira, disfruta el paisaje” mientras te empuja a pensar como operador: ruta, carga, control y aguantar el tedio delicioso de manejar por horas (sí, eso es un halago en idioma simulador).

Es una propuesta muy de nicho: si te gusta el ritual de conducir y optimizar, te atrapa. Si esperas acción constante, te vas a dormir con el mando en la mano… lo cual, siendo honestos, es bastante temático.

Star Trucker es de esos juegos que te miran a los ojos y te dicen: “vas a trabajar… pero en el espacio”. Y si eso te suena divertido (a mí sí, no me juzgues), ofrece una experiencia de conducción/gestión bastante competente, con una ambientación que hace que el viaje valga más que la meta.

Ahora, seamos controversiales: que tenga 4472 recomendaciones no significa que mágicamente sea para todos. Es un simulador; la repetición es parte del encanto, y si no tienes tolerancia al ritmo lento, lo vas a llamar “aburrido” a los 20 minutos. Además, con 76 jugadores activos, se siente como un diner a las 3 a.m.: acogedor… pero medio vacío.

Si buscas un mundo abierto para perderte, un estilo atmosférico para relajarte y una fantasía de camionero futurista, cumple. Si quieres una historia potente o variedad explosiva, aquí el único giro dramático es cuando te das cuenta de que aceptaste un encargo “rápido” y ahora vives en tu cabina.

Passa mais tempo se preocupando em manter o caminhão/nave funcionando do que realmente fazendo as entregas. Todo dinheiro que se ganha é gasto para manter o caminhão/nave funcionando. If you are a fan of space games and trucking games this is truly a gem. As a developer myself passion oozes out of this game.
