this ♥♥♥♥ is insanely fun but really hard to master, and you'll spend your first 5-15 minutes in un-skippable cutscenes dialogues so grab a seat.

After that, the 15 or so minutes I played resulted in my arms feeling weaker than the first week after i discovered how to wank as a teen.

This is the most hidden gem VR game. It's the best workout of any game I've ever played, it's beautiful, it's smooth, the controls are amazing, spectacular. So far ahead of its time even by now standards it's a top 5 VR game for me. Absolutely superb, 5/5, 10/10.

In my opinion, this is the most fun game to sweat in VR. If I had to make a top 10 list of best VR games for real fitness (or to lose weight, if you need it) this would take spot #2, with Les Mills Bodycombat at #1, and Beat Saber and Ragnarock at numbers 3 and 4. Sprint Vector has its problems, it's definitely not perfect. The online multiplayer is dead, and single player, although really interesting and quite effective to sweat with a VR racing game, doesn't have a ton of content to keep you busy for longer than 10-20 hours (if you want to get all the gold medals in the races, which you should ;p). Regardless, some of my best, and most fun, and most effective VR fitness sessions came from this game, both on psvr1 and on pc vr with an HTC Cosmos Elite. Surprisingly, it's a little easier on psvr1 because there is a turning button there, but in the pc vr version with the HTC Vive wands, you have to turn by drifting, jumping and gliding, or turning around for real with your real body! This lack of a button to turn you in-game actually makes the pc vr version a little more challenging that on psvr1! Be aware of that if you come from psvr1. The learning curve is also steep at first. You will have to do all the tutorials 2 or 3 times, and train at the power ups arena and at the main menu's training arena to get better at running, and skating, and jumping, and gliding, and accelerating, and drifting in this game. But after you get better and you can get 1st places and do better in the races, it's definitely one of those great VR gems that really wows you at first. It's a challenging one, but if you want VR for fitness Sprint Vector must be in your library. Enjoy!

Works fine on meta oculus quest 2.

After the first session - looks fine. So far however - the unskippable intro was pretty lengthy, I couldn't find how to enable subtitles, and sweaty tutorial did not help much against coming ridiculously last in the 1st easy race vs bots. Hopefully it is indeed a learning curve and the process will feel fine later.

EXPERIENCED ON PSVR2. My only con is weird controls with the PSVR2 controllers being recognized as Wands, but I got used to it within 30 minutes.

I'm sad this game doesn't have a daily active playerbase. The game is phenomenal, and easily one of the most polished VR games I've played. The group at JOINUSINVR.COM hosts a session every Wednesday, which is what allowed me to experience this game multiplayer. If you need people to play with, go there.

As for single player, the game still has plenty of content to play through and earn achievements from. It is not exclusively multiplayer. I would recommend this game even if I didn't have a single person to play with.

Certified banger. Music is fitting with different (very fitting) tracks for each map's differing themes, and while this game's playerbase died down not long after launch, this game still holds a special place in my heart. I will never forget Sprint Vector, and I hope to [strike]force[/strike] convince some friends to buy the game so they can enjoy it too.

Always crashes on startup. I got this game in a bundle like 3 years ago and never tried it until now, and the only reason I have an hour played is because I kept the error code up while I played another VR game and apparently it counted towards me playing lol. Seems like this game also isn't supported at all anymore. Love the concept but it's a shame it was dropped so fast, and oh yeah, I guess it's also a shame it literally doesn't work for me.

I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So I decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game, picked my character and world and started playing but I was stuck on what you where supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and he hosted a game for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.

One of my favourite VR games!

Really original gameplay and racing.

I don't have many friends playing this but playing against bots is fine for me. They give me a run for my money (literally). The movement needs some time getting used to. And after some time coming back i always do the quick tutorial again for the button config. Make sure you have enough play space. And this game is really a calorie burner if you are looking for that kinda games.

With friends this game is even better. I just wish there were more tracks. A lot of tracks are also in reverse which gets repetetive over time a bit.

But still this is a must play VR title in my books.

I'd love to recommend this game, but its been abandoned unfortunately. If I could, I'd give it a mixed review rather than positive or negative. There's a tournament mode beta that will never exit the beta phase. You can play okay with Quest and Virtual Desktop however the headset and controllers are detected as vive wands, even though SteamVR shows them as Oculus Touch, just like using Quest/Air Link - with which the game detects them as Oculus Rift Touch controllers with perfect functionality for Quest Touch controllers. This is a TWO year old problem https://steamcommunity.com/app/590690/discussions/1/3082124889510244469/

If you have a large playspace where you can physically turn around and don't need the joysticks to turn the camera, you can remap the jump buttons to what they are using Quest/Air link, and it works pretty well. Tracking and movement is actually a bit better with Virtual Desktop, with a link cable I guess my strides aren't straight enough, when my arms get down to my hips the game will randomly move me left or right when I'm trying to go forward, and when it does this it REALLY moves me fast sideways, often making me fall off the course or get stuck. This issue isn't a thing with Virtual Desktop, however its harder to get up to full speed. Most likely this is because of the code for Sprint Vector, and how it handles touch controllers vs supposed vive wands. Probably something to do with the controllers momentarily going out of view of the cameras.

If the developers came back to this game, fixed the hardware detection issues, maybe even ported it to the Quest/Oculus store, that would be amazing and would earn it a thumbs up. I kind of miss playing it on the PS4 with PSVR, tracking was even better on there (the glowing spheres don't completely go out of camera view past your hips) - and the only issue was the widespread PSVR issue of drifting, which could be fixed by *constanty* recentering. Probably just the rotation of the earth affecting gyroscopes lol. No reason why we can't move forward and have this wonderful game work perfectly on widely available hardware!

There was an update in 2022 that... added PSVR support to Steam? Looks that way anyways, a bunch of PSVR tutorial videos were added. To add that, and not fix Virtual Desktop and Quest... kind of bizarre.

It appears to be a splashy & stylistic jogging game, but the forced tutorial is mind-numbing. You're immediately prompted on how to move (which is very easy), but then are forced to do it again several times. To indicate that you know what the trigger is, you have to pull it three times before you are allowed to continue. Eventually you get menu access and can skip to a race, which feels slow for how much motion is required and how bombastic the intro style is. After being prompted to re-calibrate several times in the same game, discovered that there is no reset-view button or menu option. Your position is automatically reset every time a level loads, and only then. Would've refunded had I opened it when I got it.

This is a really amazing game, but the multiplayer scene for it died almost immediately after launch 4 years ago. A few people are online sometimes it seems, but with no developer updates, and it being a multiplayer centric game with almost no online community, I have to advise against buying it.

However, if you want to see how a VR running game should be built, play this immediately as they got most of it right.

also this game has really nice graphics. if you have a HP reverb g2 set the resolution to 48% if you are experiencing any startup issues.

This is Mario Cart + Sprinting + VR and is amazing. Super polished, and super fun with a group of people. It even has single player time trials and special maps that teach you in a super fun way. Kind of like Trackmania.

Honestly, it's weird that i never wrote a review for this game. I've been playing this game for years and never attempted to right a review, but Anyway. Sprint Vector to me is probably one of the best Vr games I have ever played. It's a very simple game on the surface, but as you become better and more understanding of the game mechanics, you a really see in ingenuity put into every detail of the game. After a good race you will definitely burn a lot of calories ( i believe 4 good races is almost 300 calories...i think). I'll say this if you really want a good workout play this game

This game is actually still my favorite VR game. My playtime might not say so, but I've played this game so much more on the Oculus Store version. The controls are intuitive (and will leave you sweating!) yet daunting to maneuver with at first but it can be so satisfying to race once you get used to it!
Also, omg, The art direction is extremely pleasant to look at and the soundtrack is absolutely full of underrated jams that fit the atmosphere perfectly!

Sadly, Survios has left this game to die after it's last content update (The Big Bang! Update) years ago to pursue.. other endeavors, and the multiplayer scene has mostly faltered. The game has also gained some problems as VR hardware has advanced without it, and the joystick snap turning is only enabled for Oculus devices (as when the game came out, the other most popular headset was the Vive which only had touchpads) so you are forced to physically turn if playing on Index, etc.

Overall, I would still recommend the game if you are willing to put up with the issues and be prepared to only play with friends or the very rare public meetups that happen.

Pretty good "skate" racing game.

It is definitively physical and after just 2 runs i start sweating, after 5 im drenched in sweat.

This is a very polished game, everything works as youd expect, the mechanics are excellent, but you should do the tutorial, because even if its easy to start playing, it does have a small learning curve.

Overall this is a great game, specially fun to play with friends, but also pretty good on Single player.

Recommended to anyone that likes racing games, or people that want to work out a bit.

Loved this game, but the only way to save it now is to port it to the Quest, which I fear will never happen.

[b]Unique,Fun and Polished. JetSetRadio/Hover mixed with Mario Kart in VR makes so much sense for the platform this game really needs way more attention than it gets[/b]

I really really enjoy this game personally the gameplay and speed under the immersion of VR is unmatched by other VR racing games, Really hope a sale can come around to bring attention to the developers so we can get a few more updates.

Multiplayer needs a lot more players tho to really shine a strong community, Many players seem to be put off after a session or two as its an active VR title and even with the comfort options people either seem to be uninterested with the amount of movement or put off from the smaller community this game has,

I really wish I had more people to play this with because I honestly can't get enough myself and in all honesty the movement required is not a lot if you play the game properly [i]This game isn't complete arm flailing like many people might make it out to be[/i]

Survios has some VR games that aren't so great, this however, is amazing. Movement is a mechanic that's almost never unique enough for my liking, this game lived perfectly up to my movement standards especially for a 4 year old pioneer game, the only other VR games with movement that I loved have been Stride and Gorilla Tag, but this is just amazing. I always thought I didn't like racing games but this took the "Racing" genre and took it out of vehicles (which is normally why VR racing games are bad). I'm disappointed in myself for not trying this one sooner, its got a hefty price tag for a VR game though but you can get this game and a few others by Survios on Fanatical.com right now in a bundle, this isn't some sponsored review I just thought it could be helpful to some people. The game does require a decent amount of space and will give you plenty of exercise. In my top ten for VR games honestly.

Awesome game. One of the few VR games I enjoy just moving around in, I love just screwing around in the skate park, never mind the awesome race tracks. But it feels like abandonware. No one is playing it. I hope this game didn't bankrupt the devs. I want to see what they make next.

Hopped on and played this with a few friends and we ended up so sweaty from racing and laughed our butts off the entire time. Such a blast. We play a lot of Speedrunners and this is basically that in VR. The controls are unique and intuitive. Jumps and flying add so much to the game.

this is definitely the worst fkin vr game that ive ever bought, no players, no mechanics.its just a hand shaking simulator, and it is for sure not worth 28 fkin euros, i got it for 6 and i still think it is not worth that much, no clue why it has many positive reviews, but as somebody who enjoys all the vr fitness games, i can assure u that it's not worth it.

Meh... The tutorial was way too long and got bored before I even started my first race, and because I didn't finish the "advanced tutorial" I couldn't figure out how to use powerups in the race. I refunded it, I will probably pick it back up when it goes on sale.

Game is well made, fast, and has lot of content.

Unfortunately, it has the highest VR motion sickness I've experienced (and I have a high tolerance) - your physically exerting yourself and constantly being bashed around. It's a headache.

If you're one of the few who can stomach it, it's a great game.

Criminally underrated game. If the online wasn't dead I would honestly say this is one of the genuinely amazing VR titles. Yes, this game is an absolute workout and I wouldn't have it any other way. Please get this game when it's on sale! It's worth a shot at the very least.

Can't say enough about this game. While the trailer doesn't do the game as much justice as it deserves...

1) first major concern motion sickness. I don't suffer from it nearly as bad as some of my other VR friends, the trailer had me worried it was gonna be motion sickness hell, but I didn't notice anything at all. Drifting I could see could make it bad for some people, but that feature can be disabled.

2) Gameplay - love every bit of the mechanics... complex controls mixed with well timed physical movements make this game too much fun! I'd call this game more flying than racing. It involves a lot more jumping and flying into the direction you want to go.....imagine more superman style mechanics for flying (stick your arms straight out and fly!) it's totally awesome. Some of the later tracks in the game will make you laughing at how bad you are at the mechanics until you just spend time in the skatepark.

3) Skatepark practice- I spent basically the weekend just figuring out the mechanics on my own, while I'm sure I haven't mastered everything.. keeping your momentum up fluidly through your movements is critical to making the races feel like they are seamless. Grab a bud and hop in the skatepark and teach each other tricks. It's honestly too much fun in the skatepark alone... that I promise you will lose track of time.

4) Coop- not enough VR games have enough room for coop action with friends... this game has it for more than just one other buddy.

5) It's a workout... couple races in, you'll be sweating your ass off. Can't beat a great time plus some exercise. :)

10/10 in my book- must purchase if you love racing/ flying/ tonyhawk... or any of the sort.

Controller vibrates way too much and it just wastes energy, and putting the brake button for grips is the worst idea if we're talking about VR for god sake. I don't want to waste 10% battery energy just to run a few meters.

I'm gonna be honest, if I had paid 30 bucks for this game, I would be pretty upset...

There aren't any massive glaring issues that makes me not like the game, it's just that it's not fun

The online seems to be completely dead, I tried multiple times to find a quick match and only ever got empty lobbies, now I could just play the single-player and race against bots... but that's not particularly fun, not that there's something wrong with the bots, they give you an ok challenge and didn't seem to cheat like some other racing games do to make them not just fall behind immediately but the bots aren't very interesting to race against otherwise

I'm not a huge fan of the art style, some of the levels just looked kinda bad in comparison to some of the better looking character models and some of the other characters look just as rough as the levels too, also there's a lot of overlapping dialog that happens near the beginning of races which is just a treat to the ears

And on top of all that, The game just doesn't feel very satisfying and the controls are a little jank and unintuitive, I found myself going all kinds of different directions I wasn't even looking in and losing all of my speed for seemingly no reason

I didn't really play enough to say more than that because I got bored pretty quickly, the game is definitely not worth $30 and in my opinion, not worth the $6 I spent on it. 3/10

a lot of the bad reviews seem to be from Reverb G2 users who are too stubborn to lower their ingame resolution.

I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes a fast action-racing game that you will get sweating for sure, but you might need to learn the tutorial first especially advanced to have fully experience with this game. Tested with HTC Vive controllers.

This game is so fast-paced. if you have motion sickness, avoid it. It's one of the most satisfying VR games to do right, however. Zooming through levels at sub-sonic speeds, destroying your opponents, gliding. ♥♥♥♥'s satisfying.

This game seems to be really fun - at least from what I can tell.
The controls are unique and the play style speaks for itself.

Well as you can read in previous reviews: The performance is really bad.
Gave it another shot today but it wont even go beyond the tutorial.

I get like 10 FPS (even if not in a level!) and the game crashes UE4 after clicking some buttons.
Playing with a Reverb G2 and a high-end gaming PC.

The bindings are poor. Optimize it for some more devices and make the price a bit higher!

Really sad to see a multiplayer VS game to be that unoptimized.
Thus i can't really recommend the game in the current state.

I havent played much of sprint vector but from what I played it FUN now I havent played much because it a dead game more pep need to play this hidden gem and the dev should updated it. the game is like mario kart meet parkour you run around by moving your arms and hand and it super fun IF ONLY MORE PEP PLAYED IT

Did not work on my HP reverb G2.
3 frames per second at best and eyes out of sync.

This is definitely an incredibly fun VR game that unfortunately didn't get the attention it deserved. The motion controls are fairly simple to learn and feel good to play with. Although the different race courses lack variety, the challenge levels are a great test of player skill and very rewarding to grind out. Sadly, the game's multiplayer did not take off and is an absolute ghost town, slightly decrementing the game's replayability, but it still has lots of play value for the offline races and challenges. Due to the lack of an online community, I would maybe not consider Sprint Vector worth its full price, but if you can buy it on sale (as I did), it is definitely worth playing.
