Good game. Good movement, GREAT movement actually. The game doesn't give you anywhere to really play around with it though. No real movement upgrades according to a few buddies who played it before, so outside of new gimmicks your moveset won't be expanded upon throughout the game. It's a collection of platforming challenges through and through. If that's what you want? Good. But if you're looking for a playground, best turn your attention elsewhere.

I feel like, this game could've benefited from a stage-based format. Maybe have some cool camera angles to show off the world. Not FEEL forced to slowdown to listen to what some NPC has to say.. But what I played of the game? S'pretty good.

If you can get this game for free or very cheap, either through a Steam sale or if it's included in PS+ or Game Pass then maybe I'd say check it out, but otherwise I don't think there's much to be missed here. I never finished Hyper Light Drifter, so I didn't have any real expectations going into Solar Ash. Unfortunately, by the time I played it I had already played other games that handle each of its elements better than it does. While this game has a really cool aesthetic and mood, the gameplay and level design are repetitive, frustrating, and unfulfilling.

The gameplay is very simple and based primarily on the skate, boost, and grapple mechanics. The movement has the potential to feel very good, but there are too many things that interrupt your momentum - enemies, the goo that you have to climb, precise platforming sections, and puzzles in tight rooms - so you're rarely allowed to keep your speed for long enough for it to feel cool. This game also does one of my least favorite things a game can do - it offers no reason to interact with the enemies. They're all around the world, but as far as I can tell there's no reason to fight them because there isn't any kind of currency, XP, or upgrade system that depends on them (there's plasma, but it's everywhere and I've only been able to use it to regain health), so they just become a nuisance. You end up only fighting them so they don't annoy you while you're solving a platforming puzzle. There are suits you can unlock, but you have to find all the collectibles to unlock them, so I haven't unlocked any of them yet and I don't know how they affect the game. The boss fights all feel pretty much the same, they're just grappling up to the boss and then skating across its body to hit weak points. None of ones I've done really stands out from the others.

The levels have also been a mess from what I've played so far. The scanner shows you the location of an objective, but it is often unclear how you're supposed to reach it, so I've wasted a notable amount of my playtime just running around a level looking for a path that will get me where I need to go. They also don't do a great job of creating a strong sense of place. On the surface they seem like they'd be cool and distinct - there's a destroyed city, a fungal network, some old ruins - but they just kind of blend together, especially since the mechanics don't offer many unique ways of interacting with the environment. The levels I've seen are differentiated mainly by how you unlock doors - do you slap a mushroom, or hold the interact key next to a pylon?

Personally, I would recommend saving the time and money and just watching an AGDQ run for the game.

Серьезно, оно того не стоит. Несмотря на некоторый шарм, эта игра вас сожрет.

Ключевая проблема, как бы ни было забавно, лежит в основах игры-кривом контроллере персонажа, и главной "фиче"-боссфайтах, проходящих на самих боссах.
На минуточку, бои сводятся к ударам по ключевым точкам, к некоторым из которых можно подтянуться, до остальных нужно бежать и прыгать по "платформам"

Ага, у нас тут платформер, с динамически меняющимся положением этих платформ, из за анимаций боссов, которые шатаются/летают по карте как им вздумается, изгибаясь, переворачиваясь, и так далее.
В общем-звучит как фича, но это не так, учитывая, что:
1)Контроллер персонажа страдает по точности.
2)Игрока срывает с привязок к точкам, и вы летите начинать весь цикл по новой, ведь хп в привычном понимании у босса нет.
3)На тело наступать нельзя, это моментально убивает даже на легком уровне сложности, передвижение возможно только по платформам(опустим условности)
4)Есть несколько циклов, которые нужно пройти в рамках босса, время их прохода-ограничено жесткими рамками между ударами по точкам,
а игрок в прямом смысле слова-ограничен тем, куда понесло босса, и физически не может добраться до новой точки в нужный срок,
пока босс, к примеру, не решит опустить хвост, ведь допрыгнуть туда вертикально-возможности нет, нужен рывок, а он приведет вас прямо в тело, и придется начинать цикл по новой,
что в принципе-равносильно начинанию цикла по новой сразу, ведь дождаться опускания хвоста за пару секунд вы не успеете, и цикл прервется.

Помимо проблем с боссами, противники иногда расположены неподалеку от пути платформинга, но без возможности возврата на него: чтобы их снести, приходится прыгать на них через привязку, а под ними оказывается пустота, лава или еще что-либо, что вас ваншотит: привет бэктрекинг от контрольных точек, чисто ради зачистки пути, иначе вас попросту сбивает в пустоту.

Игра сложна тем, что вы крутите барабан на то, когда босс решит не совершать телодвижений и позволить вам его прикончить, а шансы на то, что он даст вам 40 секунд спокойного, честного передвижения по его телу-крайне малы, и вы будете раз за разом падать, не из за своих ошибок, а просто потому что разработчики не учли ключевой недостаток своей фичи и плохо раскидали точки, не отладив прохождение боссов.
На фоне геймплейных проблем сюжет ощущается еще более невзрачно, чем есть, и серьезного восприятия не вызывает.

Резюмируя, игра, что должна проходиться за 3-4 часа, будет пытать вас своими багами вдвое дольше. (А непосредственно прохождение боссов-займет раз в 10 дольше, чем должно)
Рекомендовать ли ее? Я бы не стал, если же вы купили ее, то при возникновении проблем с первым боссом, возврат стоит делать сразу, дальше лучше не будет, каждый босс проходится на рандоме, и все они страдают от вышеописанных проблем.

Тут почти таже штука, чистил локи, бегаем прыгаем, решаем ребусы и лупимся с босами
Интересно реализована механика с гравитацией Т.е. бежишь такой по травушке, и опа, бежишь уже по стене

Битва с боссами, QTE с ранером
Появляются метки на тушке боса, прилипаем и начинаем забег санитара, бегаем лупим шприцами по боссу
Три раза, дальше следующий пациент

Большая часть боссов проходится за один трай, не сложно.

Сложно то что под управлением у нас инвалидо подобное ГГ. Выполняешь QTE сделал финальную тычку по шприцу, и ГГ такое думает, вау, ухты, "короче издаёт звуки" и просто мразота стоит на месте. А бос не ждёт, он лупит, шкурка его становится огненной и ты откисаешь

Сколько же раз я откисал из-за этого инвалида....
Просто, после тычки, встаёт. А мне бежать нужно, по другим шприцам тыкать. Аннет. Ветер шумит. Нужно послушать....

Из-за инвалидоподобного ГГ срака горела.
Но если отвлечься от дымящей жопы, то да, игра красивая и приятная

Вражеские неписи красиво разносятся, ребусы просто решаются
Единственное что, нычки, некоторые сложно найти.

Там что бы костюмчики открыть, нужно лутать тайники

И если подитожить, то игра проходится быстро, сама по себе не сложная и местами даже приятная
Вероятнее всего управление подразумевает наличие контроллера, хотя и на клавамыши проходится приемлемо.

Данное горючее для пятой точки оцениваю в 7.5 ударов по голове из 10-ти

I really wanted to love this game given the developer's history, but Solar Ash is a huge letdown.

While the art direction is undeniable and the initial visual concept is striking, the actual execution is a pain. The colour palette, rather than being vibrant, often feels dirty and muddy. There is so much visual noise that it becomes difficult to distinguish platforms from the background, making the world feel cluttered rather than artistic.

However, the biggest drawback are the map design and the controls. The map design is a textbook example of how NOT to build a 3D platformer. Navigation is confusing, flow is non-existent, and you will constantly get lost not because the world is vast, but because it is poorly laid out.

Worse yet is the game feel. For a game focused on speed and momentum, the movement is incredibly floaty and imprecise. The controls lack the tightness required for the platforming challenges, leading to unfair deaths and constant frustration.

It’s a stylish wrapper around a hollow, frustrating core. Skip it.

Si simple, et pourtant si efficace...

Bon, je suis un casual gamer friand de plateformer/action-aventure, bagnant dans les ratchets and clank like depuis tout petit. Je lance un jeu en espérant être mobile au possible, à explorer de chouettes décors, planètes, jungles, égouts, que sais-je...

Merci à Solar Ash de m'avoir offert tout ça, avec une direction artistique léchée, et des devs dont on ne doute pas une seule seconde de la passion qu'ils ont éprouvée à créer le tout.

Je ne m'éterniserai pas sur le gameplay, le trailer montre très bien ce qui vous attend; Vous pourriez simplement vous demander si ce n'est pas juste flashy en vidéo, mais clunky manette en main, il n'en est rien. Tout est fluide, on slide sans accrocs, la difficulté est là où elle doit être (dans le mode le plus difficile me concernant), pas du tout frustrant mais demandant de recommencer certains passages, on ne s'ennuie pas.

Comptez une 12aine d'heure de jeu pour un 100% (facile à obtenir, les quêtes secondaires suivant la narration et se comptant au nombre de 3).

[SPOILER POUR CE QUI SUIT]

Seul bémol que je trouve en terminant le jeu: Dommage que seule des deux fins possibles mène à un boss final (moins dur que les autres boss par ailleurs), et à une cinématique...
La "mauvaise fin" aurait mérité d'être + qu'une loop qui mène au début du jeu je trouve; Un combat final aurait été apprécié, peut-être avec ECHO en boss sur laquelle "rider", qui se serait libéré de ses chaînes (on sait pas trop comment avec une pirouette scénaristique mais on peut s'imaginer ce qu'on veut haha), avant d'en effet vivre une cinématique déchirante où REI comprend son erreur, trop tard, la boucle temporelle allant pour se relancer encore une fois... (et là oui nous remettre au début du jeu comme on pouvait s'y attendre)

ENFIN BREF je ne pensais pas écrire autant haha, mais merci chère équipe de Solar Ash, pour la poésie, la fluidité, et la passion.

Very lovely game! Despite the VERY high stakes story, this game's platforming was very oddly relaxing? It might have something to do with how simple and smooth it felt. It's not at all complex, and everything you need to know is taught to you immediately, save for an optional upgrade that slightly changes the boost effectiveness. My only complaint I have is that it felt pretty tedious finding all of the Voidrunner side story stuff. It's difficult to even call it "side " content, given how the things you learn from the caches you find around the Ultravoid give important context to the things you learn in the main story. Other than that, it was a very enjoyabale experience, with a VERY cool twist at the end that payed off in a heartfelt and personal finale that resonated with me.

Also, it's just Sonic Frontiers but everything is ten times better.

Played and completed back in 2023 and never did a review. Solar Ash is unique, fast paced, platforming exploration game only held back by moments of boredom. Boss battles are pretty epic and the platforming challenges are great. The soundtrack is freakin' killer! Praxis is my favorite track. It's the track used at the end of the promo video. WINK! WINK! The art style, music and fluid controls is where this game shines but then there are moments of "where the heck do i go now?" and back tracking is a pain at times. For a 4 year old game I think a $19.99 price tag or $24.99 with the soundtrack is a fair deal. Not $40 bucks. With that said I think it was a great journey and it was a joy to play and absolutely loved the soundtrack! I would score the game a strong 7.75.

The artstyle is stellar, the soundtrack works very well and the story wraps up very nicely, even if it takes a good while to go anywhere.
Movement has a good sense of momentum and speed to it, but level design often gets in the way of just letting it rip. Combat is also such an afterthought that the game could've benefitted from even less enemy types than it already has.
All in all very much worth playing, even if there is some jank in there.

It's still a great game. Super fluid platforming, especially when you get the hang of it, and a dope atmosphere all around if you like subtly mind-bending stuff.

But man :/ it's a bit bittersweet to play this again after what happened with the team and Hyper Light Breaker. That work shouldn't represent this one's though. Breaker is it's own, as is this. And Solar Ash really is worth playing especially if you like smooth, fun platforming.

Just a damn shame to see what became of the team behind it :/

I'm so sad this is the one Heart Machine game that is often overlooked cause of it being originally an Epic exclusive, because it's an incredible fast and fluid platformer that I genuinely loved all the way through.
An incredible and fun addicting accompanied by one of the studio's best soundtracks with an artstyle that I genuinely adored.
Only issue I have it is the story that genuinely needed another draft to fully flesh the other characters outside of Rei and Cyd.

Solar Ash was a surprising find for me. I had never heard of it before, but when I stumbled across it and saw the preview, I immediately thought it looked like my kind of game. It feels like a strange hybrid of Shadow of the Colossus and Jet Set Radio Future, combining massive roaming creatures, fast and fluid movement, and a vibrant art style that makes exploring its world a genuine joy.

For me, the art direction, world design, and movement mechanics are the strongest aspects of the game. The first playthrough is especially enjoyable as you fumble around, searching for what you need to progress with very little guidance, simply roaming and soaking in the atmosphere. Each beautifully designed area is inhabited by a giant creature, creating a compelling balance between peaceful exploration and a sense of awe. The music complements the game well, perfectly matching its tone and vibe.

I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with the combat system. Combat revolves around moving quickly and chaining precise attacks together, often while traversing the environment or climbing the giants themselves. This creates a flashy and stylish combat flow, but mechanically it can feel somewhat shallow. Much of it boils down to “move here, press a button, move there, press a button,” repeated in sequence. There is still a level of skill involved, as you must complete these sequences within a limited time window or you will be knocked off and forced to restart.

Difficulty settings mainly tighten these timing windows, with higher difficulties becoming quite demanding. On one hand, this encourages mastery of the game’s movement mechanics, which is very rewarding, especially for players who enjoy speedrunning or optimizing routes. On the other hand, the combat can feel janky at times due to camera shifts, awkward physics, or trying to maintain control while fighting on a moving creature. The satisfaction of performing clean, fast runs is absolutely there, but you will have to work for it.

My final gripe is the story. I don’t dislike it, but it is fairly unremarkable, and I would argue that you are not really playing Solar Ash for its narrative. The main issue is that the story is not communicated very clearly, which can leave players with a more negative impression than it likely deserves.

Lastly, I find the $40 price tag a bit steep for a game that is neither especially long nor complex. I absolutely enjoyed my time with it, and I think anyone who enjoys movement-focused games could easily get into it. Fortunately, the game frequently goes on sale for 60–65% off, which is the price I paid, and at that price, I can easily recommend it.

This game is awesome. If you love story games, 3D platformers. or astronomy I would highly recommend this game. It's fun, the visuals are amazing, the story is awesome, and the overall progression is at a really nice pace. I would recommend using a guide if you ever get stuck because this game can be kind of discrete about what to do next. Also pay attention to the story; don't skip dialogue. The ending is amazing and is best experienced if you know the full story leading up to it.

I love Hyper Light Drifter, so after finishing it, I went to see what else Heart Machine had to offer and discovered Solar Ash.
Solar Ash takes place in the same universe as HLD, but in a completely different galaxy. You accompany Rei, a Voidrunner trying to stop her home planet from being destroyed. Along the way, you discover that you must fight anomalies to progress the story while exploring and piecing together what happened to your crew.

GAMEPLAY
This game is all about velocity and precision, and it does an excellent job at both. The Shadow of the Colossus inspirations are clearly present and very well executed. The biomes feel great to traverse and explore, and players who take the time to explore can collect “suit pieces” in the form of Voidrunner Logs, which help paint a clearer picture of what happened to your crew.

STORY
The story is amazing, delivering a deep and meaningful message. The player experiences a rollercoaster of emotions alongside Rei.
Rei is clearly young and full of fighting spirit, and even if she can sometimes feel annoying or pushy, the player is able to connect with her by the end of the story, when everything comes full circle.

VISUALS
The visuals are fantastic. This game is gorgeous: the colors are vibrant, the environments are distinct, and the characters are unique. All of this is thanks to Heart Machine’s strong artistic vision.

MUSIC
The soundtrack is very good, especially if you enjoy ambient music. I do, and even though it wasn’t composed by Disasterpeace, it’s still pleasant and well crafted. Troupe Gammage’s work stands apart from his predecessor, even if Solar Ash’s OST isn’t quite comparable to the incredible auditory experience of the Hyper Light Drifter soundtrack.
Fun fact, you can hear Hyper Light Drifter's motif in "Vignette: Ambition's End". (Yes, Vignette makes it obvious!)

THE BAD
My only gripe with the game is the Hardcore Mode. I completed all the achievements and—♥♥♥♥♥♥♥—hardcore mode is rage-inducing. I believe the approach should have focused on giving bosses more health and slightly less time to perform attacks. Instead, the game simply becomes faster, which strips away the fun and turns it into a fully punishing experience.

CONCLUSION
Solar Ash is phenomenal. It’s a fantastic experience that I recommend to anyone who enjoys more abstract games and loves taking the time to sink into otherworldly realms.

Has an interesting story, I really like how it looks and it's gameplay is quite fine! Wish it had more gravity mechanics though so the sceneries could be played with a lot more, recalling that one area in Mirrorsea with two sides to it, having to find the access to one through the other. Neat stuff! The sound design and the music also does it's job at selling the otherworldly nature of the Ultravoid, it's floating islands, the oddly maze-like nature of some areas (especially when hunting down the logs).

Few gameplay decisions I'd tweak, specifically the fact Plasma is a rather useless currency and collectible when the only thing you can do with it is get up to a specific amount of "health", it gets tiring have to prepare 3000 plasma beforehand to get a cell you just bought back. I think you could make an excuse to raise attack power with it, because I disliked having to scavenge for suit parts just to get a base strength boost to one shot a basic crawling enemy.

I think the weakest aspect of the game is the writing for Rei, as she appears... 'inconsistently competent', let's say. They're written like they 'know stuff' but is very clueless about their own surroundings, the things people tell them, the appearances of things, but that could also be a consequence of me finding some things out of order. Sometimes the last cache is the first you get, sometimes the one with the holograms goes first then the one where they say "I hope I can find you".

Following this, I question the voice direction for Tarragon Danderpaws and having their notes be narrated, them saying their sign-off got annoying quick. No issue with its contents just the fact it's narrated with less than expected emotion followed by a smirkful "Tarragon Danderpaws :3". Were these conceived to be audio logs first, then decided to be made a written journal? Oh well.

All in all, I think this game has a little potential for 'more', but what that 'more' is I couldn't tell.
Regardless, it's a neat play.

This game was so beautifully ethereal, I don't know how else to describe it. Its gameplay was fast and challenging but the whole time it felt so peaceful yet dark at the same time given what was unfolding in the story, which didn't seem like much at first until its ending shocked me enough to say I love it now. I also love fighting giant-sized bosses that I have to climb on to defeat them!

Some areas I loved, while others I hated like second last with the acid water, but the rest just felt like it spoke to the deep cosmos within my imagination. If a game can do that to me, then that means it's a winner.

Em um desses eventos de trailers quaisquer, Solar Ash tomou a minha atenção com um visual surpreendente, além da imagem do buraco negro no estilo do filme Interstellar, que ainda hoje me deixa fascinado. Por esses simples motivos, acabei dando chance ao jogo.

O jogo se inicia mostrando que um buraco negro está prestes a destruir um planeta, e você como a protagonista Rei, precisa entrar dentro dele e arranjar uma forma de pará-lo.

A gameplay é basicamente ir deslizando pelo mundo, cumprir uns desafios de plataforma com tempo limitado para que um monstro gigante apareça e você tenha que derrotá-lo através de mais desafios de plataforma e tudo se repete.

O modo normal foi muito qualquer coisa, por achar os controles estranhos e não haver qualquer desafio; também acabei ignorando toda história, pois com um Visual Novel em paralelo eu não tinha mais energia e paciência para ler textos. E foi nesse clima caído que fiz as 6hrs com 100% nesse modo.

Precisava completar o jogo no modo mais difícil e achei que seria mais horas de um completo sentimento de vazio.

Esse modo é um absurdo de difícil comparado ao modo normal, chegando a me fazer questionar logo no início se eu deveria apenas abandonar a platina e seguir adiante, mas foi nesse começo de muita frustração e exigindo um nível alto de habilidade e comprometimento que o jogo subia no meu conceito e me deixava mais satisfeito a cada desafio completado, me conduzindo até seu encerramento e deixando de recordação forte dores nos dedos.

No final, o modo hardcore salvou o jogo e me deixou com um sentimento positivo devido a dificuldade que ele proporciona, mas cobra um preço alto para isso. Aos jogadores casuais que apenas conhecerão o modo normal, não acho que vale a pena esse investimento, por ele ser sem graça. Tenham isso em mente.

Персонаж очень подвижен и быстр. Есть прыжки и ускорения, рывок. Также есть замедление времени, для увеличения дальности рывка. Персонаж может наносить удар - в игре есть несколько типов врагов. Также удар используется для взаимодействия с окружением.
В игре 6 постепенно открывающихся локаций, с потрясающим арт-дизайном. Постепенно появляются различные устройства и возможности для перемещения (ускоряющие рельсы, прорастающие пути, механизмы высокого прыжка).
Можно искать коллектеблсы для получения новых костюмов, усиливающих или ускоряющих способности. Также есть 3 доп. квеста, со своим персонажем - нужно посещать определенные места и находить там определенные предметы (или вести диалог). В итоге получаем 100% прохождения и супер-костюм.
На каждой локации есть Босс. Для его активации необходимо уничтожать узлы ("глаза"). Для этого нужно выполнить платформинговую секцию или решить головоломку, параллельно активируя уколы в уязвимые точки. В новых локациях количество узлов увеличивается.
Босс-файт представляет собой троекратное выполнение сложного платформингового трая, где используются ускорения и рывки, своевременное замедление времени и постоянные удары по уколам.
В целом отличный платформер, впечатляющий визуально, захватывающий сюжетно. В меру сложный, но сохраняющий аркадность.

For the 36 euro price this is a no go, I don't want to be mean since it seems like the team behind was farily passionate but the game does a poor job of explaining, the whole scanning thing should just be automatic and while the game tries to do the whole celeste thing of putting you right back where you were before dying so you can just try again this game takes several seconds to do it which just made the game feel clunky, repetitive and annoying to me. If you get this on a sale it might be worth it but be ready to refund it if you have a similar experience to mine.

Extreme Spoilers - TLDR; This game is pretty good, 8/10 checks nearly every box for a singleplayer experience defo play it.

The game is solid, though I can't help but feel sad that I didn't love it as much as I expected. The atmosphere, sound design, and visuals were a consistent treat throughout, but the gameplay just felt a little hollow. The Mario Galaxy-esc gravity mechanics were SUPER cool at certain moments but it seriously felt underutilized, as orbiting a planet often felt optional and something you'd mostly do if you got lost. Maybe I'm just burnt out from the Horizon games, but the AAA-style lore data logs were thoroughly disinteresting and only caused me to disconnect from the story. The bosses though were a great highlight, even if the game's overall structure was very repetitive. Overall though, I'd still recommend it if the visuals interest you and it's on a deep discount.

Solar Ash - это экшен-игра с необычным быстрым передвижением и локациями.

Думаю, сразу стоит упомянуть, что игра может показаться сложной для тех, кто редко играет в игры. Здесь много маленьких головоломок, нужна реакция, умение быстро нажимать кнопки и надо запоминать местность. Но для меня игра показалась хорошая в плане сложности (не слишком легко, не слишком сложно).

Главная героиня двигается намного быстрее, чем в других играх. И эта часть геймплея сделана просто офигенно. Мне очень понравилось. Также здесь необычные локации - тут не работает привычная гравитация, и ГГ может двигаться вообще под любым углом. Тут много своеобразных рельсов, по которым ГГ быстро скользит. Также есть своеобразная крюк-кошка. Короче, мувемент крутой и под него есть подходящее окружение.

И сразу упомяну боссов - они огромные и по ним тоже надо "кататься", чтобы нанести урон. Боссы сделаны интересно и зрелищно.

Боевая система довольно простая - есть только одинаковые атаки в ближнем бою. Удары наводятся на ближайшего противника. Но зато противники разнообразные, к ним нужен разный подход.

Игровой мир поделен на несколько зон. В каждой зоне надо уничтожить своеобразные "опухоли". А для уничтожения надо быстро двигаться, наносить удары в определенной последовательности и немного напрячь мозги. Сделано интересно.

Также на локациях есть разные записки, объекты для изучения, дневники членов команды и квесты (по сути все квесты сводятся к тому, что надо исследовать всю локацию). В целом, сделано это все интересно. Но не то чтобы это прям вызывает какой-то восторг.

А по поводу сюжета могу сказать так: он небанальный, но и не пытается казаться супер глубоким, необычным. Игроку в начале дают понятную цель, и по ходу прохождения (если игрок будет внимательным) будет понятно что, кто, почему, как и когда. Мне понравилось, сюжет вызвал эмоции.

Графика в игре простая, но качественная. В нужные моменты игра показывает крутые визуальные эффекты. Визуальный дизайн тоже хороший, качественный. Необычный. В целом, понравилось.

Озвучка и звуки получились хорошими. Тут могу только похвалить. Жаль, что не могу сказать этого о музыке...

И вот теперь 2 минуса:
1. Музыка очень "блеклая". Да, она задает нужное настроение, но... Я прошел игру вчера, и я уже не помню, какая музыка была в игре - настолько она незапоминающаяся.
2. По-моему, стоило сделать игру покороче, либо сделать геймплей более разнообразным. Потому что под конец игры уже немного надоедает делать одно и то же.

Итог: игра необычная, сделана качественно и интересно. Передвигаться тут в кайф.

Игра 100 из 10, очень советую любителям Journey, Abzu и других игр в подобной стилистике и повествовании. Концепция простая, появляешься в локации, решаешь головоломки и открывается путь к новому месту. Но что мне особенно нравится, так это динамика происходящего. Управление приятное и простое.

Многие пазлы решаются интуитивно, нет особой необходимости ломать на них голову. В игре также отличная атмосфера: музыка, дизайн локаций, стиль игры. Я как любитель покататься на роликах или поиграть во что то быстрое и плавное как Mirror's Edge кайфанула от прохождения этой игры. Проходит кстати становится еще веселее на хардкоре, обычная сложность ощущается слишком простой, но это чисто мои предпочтения. История тоже отличная, я в конце аж прослезилась, всем советую.

Единственное к чему могу придраться так это к русской локализации. Я для разнообразия переключилась на русский и там немного грустно. Вместо нейтральных слов типо "сканировать, взаимодействовать, изучить, осмотреть" используются слова "взаимодействие, изучение". Я не первый день играю в игры в русском дубляже, такой перевод словно был сделан гугл переводчиком, а не реальным переводчиком.

Movement is sooo inconsistent, Boss mechanics are abysmal. Camera during bossfights is somehow even worse, half the time i can't tell where the hell i'm going because this funky ahh camera goes "Cinematic" mode during bossfights wow, good luck with that cuz bosses oneshot you if you touch them. It's a basket of every annoying game mechanic known to man. I don't think there's anything else i can say about this game. It's fun and beautiful "sometimes". I'm really trying to love this game but it's annoying the hell out of me.

Un très bon jeu.
Une ambiance, une DA et une OST de grande qualité et très originales.
Un level design de folie, plus le jeu avance.
Le gameplay est fluide avec des passages tout en vitesse et réflexes assez bluffants.
Les boss sont des titans vraiment impressionnants.
L'histoire est mystérieuse, sombre à souhait avec une héroïne attachante.
Les quelques défauts n'en sont pas vraiment pour moi :
- quelques passages pendant lesquels la caméra aurait pu mieux faire
- le gameplay suffit à une durée de vie de 10-12h mais sans rejouabilité
- l'histoire aurait pu être un peu moins confuse au long du jeu (même si le dénouement explique tout)
En résumé, je recommande sans hésiter.

It's run time is only around 4 - 6 hours for a casual play through, however I ended up spending 13 - 14 hours to 100% the game with all of it's achievements.
As much as I want to say this game is a must buy, the amount of content for it's price is not that great of a ratio, hence why I would only buy it during a sale. Despite this, if you're looking for a very solid game or looking for a game that is similar to Sword of The Sea or The Pathless, You'll end up enjoying Solar Ash

Just incredible. Stunning graphics, just the right amtosphere, an interesting boss fight mechanic and most importantly a lesson-teaching dramatic story.
