Silver Creek Falls Chapter 2 continues on with the mystery that started in Chapter 1. Most of the game is pretty easy to figure out and the puzzles contained within aren't that mentally vexing,

There are some things in this particular chapter that really annoyed me,

First, being the cat in the 1st hotel, this is a pointless endeavour that is just annoying, doesn't add to the story line and from what I've read in the discussions has just plain annoyed the living crud out of most of the people who played the game.

The second point is that the Devs STILL haven't added any instruction on how to increase the game window size from tiny to full screen. So Someone who is playing this for the first time WITHOUT having played the original or been to the discussions won't know how to adjust the game screen size.

Third and last thing is that this episode requires the player to collect certain "items" (NOT THE APPLES) that the game then DOES NOT provide an inventory tally for. These items ARE necessary for an achievement but the player doesn't have any idea how many they've already collected towards the achievement total.

I would suggest an updated version of game be released with these issues fixed.

Overall the game was mostly enjoyable even with these little annoyances.

As a distinguished member of the law enforcement community I can't really recommend this game. The first one had its charm but this one reminds me of case I had years ago when we were looking for a man named Jimmy The Gut who was suspected of murder and our investigation lead us all over the place looking in lockers and solving kinda crap puzzles and we ended up out in the forest and I even lost a shoe and we kept going in circles because our path wasn't clear and we then randomly we stumbled upon this freakin maze and I said to my partner can you feckin' believe this sh ite and he was all nah bruh but then we finally got to the end of it and it turned out to be a total let down as Jimmy The Gut was just sitting there eating a sandwich and he was yo I know you lookin for me but I'm not the guy. We were all shure shure and then we all left and just like this game it all went nowhere as it turned out he was getting his taxes done on the day of the murder. What a letdown. Now I have more questions than answers and I don't wanna know what I have to do to get them.

Teil 2 nun auch komplett - gefiehl mir auch sehr gut! :)
Für den Preis ist die Spiellänge gut (ich hatte es mir allerdings im Summer Sale'22 geholt gehabt).
Ich wurde sogar überrascht das es Sammelkarten und mehrere Erfolge gibt! :D
Also perfekt für Archievment Hunter - kurzes Spiel und ein paar Erfolge :)
Mal sehen was Teil 3 zu bieten hat (muss noch gekauft werden. xD)

Silver Creek Falls: Chapter 2 is a retro, 8-bit pixel game where you assume the role of Sara, a former Massachusetts state trooper turned detective. Chapter 2 picks up where chapter 1 left off.

I enjoyed this game. An intriguing mystery is unfolding as you play and the 8-bit graphics gives it a quaint 80's feel. The mystery deepens as you travel from place to place, following the clues left behind.

However, there are two things I didn't care for. First and foremost, the controls are horrible. To control your character you have to use the arrow buttons not WASD like most developers do. That is a major sticking point with me. Also, to interact with something, you use the enter button (which is right above the arrow keys), so now I have to position my hands unnaturally which makes them tired in a hurry. I had said in my previous review of chapter 1, I hoping that the developers would fix these terrible controls but that's out the window. So I broke down and got this game on sale because I had to find out what happened.

Another thing I didn't like was the writing. When you speak to someone their response appears at the bottom and well as yours. That's all fine and dandy but some of the exchanges of dialogue makes me wonder if the person who wrote this was in grade school. Yes, some of it is that bad.

Silver Creek Falls: Chapter 2 was selling for $4.99. That's a bit high for the time spent playing this game. Good thing I got it on sale and I suggest you do to.

Нет, не подумайте, что игра плохая - по меркам приключений на RPG Maker очень даже ничего, вполне можно пробежать... Но вот ставить ей Лайк - обманывать читателей. Справедливее будет диз с оговоркой - играбельно и проходимо, но без восторга.

Местами затянуто, местами слабый интерес к игре, местами не совсем нужные головоломки. Очень много оговорок. Неудивительно, что я, похоже, первый человек, кто вообще обзор написал.

This one suffers from the same problems as the first game, only this one costs money. I would only recommend it on sale, and if you want to see where the story ends up (Spoiler alert: I finished Walsingham Files - Chapter 2 and you STILL don't have any sort of good sense of 'things are wrapped up')

Also, the dev has a serious thing for solving the puzzles with obscure facts (mostly military) that you need to research OUTSIDE the game for. This is prevalent in the entire series. The cipher puzzle is also so poorly explained it took a Math teacher to help us and even he was scratching his head a bit. It was a decent puzzle, but the explanation was so out there, it made it HARDER to solve.

К сожалению, её очаровательный напарник из Скотланд-Ярда укатил на родину, поэтому теперь компанию ей составляет специальный агент Вальдес.

И лично для меня самым загадочным в этой игре является то обстоятельство или причина, по которой Вальдеса вообще приняли в ряды ФБР. Я бы переименовала его в агента Пуха, поскольку в разговоре с этим персонажем всё сводится к одной фразе: "А не пора ли нам подкрепиться?" My name is Pooh, Winnie-the-Pooh.

И помимо не очень удачной замены персонажа-напарника в продолжении появилось несколько нововведений. А с ними и проблем. Продолжительность игры увеличилась примерно до двух часов. В неё добавили новые загадки и прикрутили больше достижений. Они не очень сложные, НО некоторые из них довольно нудные. И за счёт них, собственно говоря, и получилось искусственное увеличение продолжительности игры.

Больше всего меня выбесило достижение с поиском яблок. Оказывается, каждое дерево в парке нужно осматривать несколько раз, так сказать, не отходя от кассы, чтобы стрясти с него сразу несколько плодов. Иначе вам придётся лихорадочно бегать по кругу в поисках какой-нибудь затерявшейся и насмехающейся над вами яблони. К финалу игра превращается в симулятор ходьбы: ходим по кампусу, ходим по парку, ходим по лабиринту. Помимо этого, вы можете столкнуться с некоторыми не совсем приятными моментами в виде гэндальфа-кошечки (You shall not pass!) или изнурительных поисков дыры в заборе в дождливых сумерках.

И несмотря на то, что к концу истории из кустов выпрыгивает сюжетный рояль, играть во вторую часть было откровенно скучно. Возможно, что третья глава это как-то исправит, но почему-то меня терзают смутные сомнения.

- смена напарника;
- нарочное увеличение продолжительности игры;
- цена.

Для не совсем удачно реализованного продолжения цена игры несколько завышена. Если вы большой поклонник детективных сериалов, или вам просто интересно, как развивались события после первой главы, я рекомендую дожидаться скидок.

Брать только с распродажи или в качестве подарка.

At first I wasn't sure what to think of this series since the first chapter was pretty short and more like a walkthrough but when chapter 2 got on discount I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. This time it's longer and you can solve puzzles by your own (or skip them - depending on how you like it). The story continues and while you gain new knowledge you will also encounter new mysteries. So the story goes on and it keeps getting more interesting - I will definetely get the third chapter as well. However, I wouldn't had bought them without them being on discount because I think it's a little bit expensive to get chapter 2 and 3 on full price.

Silver Creek Falls had potential but lacks polish. My major issues with the game are
A. Each Chapter being its own game
B. The game in full costs $9.98 plus tax
C. The story was lacking some umph
Silver Creek Falls is 3 separate games in Steam and is a bit inconvenient to users since chapters are relatively short anyhow. With a game that costs as much as To the Moon, you are not getting your bang for your buck. The game lacks polish and is too short to justify the cost. Chapter 2 was not a bad chapter and was what made me go on to buy the last chapter. Chapter 3 was unexpectedly short and ended the story in a very stale way. The game does not make you feel like a detective like in a Sherlock Holmes game and its story writing did not feel complete. There are a multitude of indie rpgmakers out there that are pretty great and free which makes this game not worth paying 10 dollars for. Normally I am not such a cynic but if you charge this amount of money for 3 to 4 hours of gameplay it should be on To the Moon's level.

I received this game a couple of years ago for free after posting a positive review for Ch. 1. I was very grateful and I have absolutely 0 clue why I didn't bother to play it online for all this time. I've played it through a few times now, and am about to do the same thing, but online. Finally, heh. First, I recommend this game, it's a perfect follow up to Ch. 1, just more to it, and the puzzles require more than a few brain cells. It's fun, I can use my controller with it, which is always a plus, and it isn't overly produced, I like the rpg maker games, when done correctly, and Ch. 2 is done wonderfully. Worth buying, even more worth playing.

Not bad at all. Better puzzles than the last game, and far larger in scale. However, I do have a few gripes.

First off, I was disappointed that Phil, a character from the first game, isn't present in this one. Instead, he's been replaced by a goofball FBI agent, who serves the story well granted, but still. I would've preferred him as an addition to the cast, rather than as a replacement.

Secondly, the story got a little... muddled? I feel like the pacing could've been improved overall. It wasn't difficult to understand, but it just felt like something was off.

Despite these two nitpicks, the game was enjoyable, and I will be picking up the third to finish the story. I would recommend the game on sale, though, since some may consider $5 for 2 hours a bit iffy.

Edit: Having now completed Chapter 3, thus finishing the series, I'd advise that you not continue these games. Although my above statements still stand regarding Chapter 2, the sequel is a major downgrade. Tedious puzzles, bad dialogue, and an unsatisfying conclusion lead to me telling you to avoid this series as a whole. There are much better uses of your time and money.

FBI wyrywa sprawę tajemniczych morderstw tylko po to, by kilka dni później wrócić i skomlić o pomoc w śledztwie. Fitzgerald dołącza do nowego partnera, by wspólnie zwiedzić identyczne hotele, zebrać hurtowe ilości próbek krwi (wciąż czekam na wyniki analizy tych z pierwszego epizodu...) i ponownie zmierzyć się z tajemnicą Silver Creek. Nieciekawą bo nieciekawą, ale ktoś musi robić tę robotę.

Co jest HOT:
+ faktycznie, jest jakiś postęp w stosunku do pierwszej części.

A co NOT:
- nie dość, że powtarzają ten idiotyzm ze "zbadaj kilkanaście obiektów dla aczivka" z pierwszej części, to jeszcze powtarzają go dwa razy (w kolejnym epizodzie pewnie trzy);
- kilka zagrywek obliczonych tylko na to, by gejmplejową watą wydłużyć czas rozgrywki (np. labirynt w laboratorium, który musisz przejść w tę i z powrotem);
- sądząc po liczbie spotkanych NPCtów, Silver Creek zamieszkuje plus minus 5 osób;
- obszerne, puste lokacje;
- śledztwo nie ma absolutnie najdrobniejszego, choćby tyciutkiego znaczenia czy mechaniki. Zebrane przez nas dowody są natychmiast przekazywane dalej, gra nigdy nie testuje naszej znajomości szczegółów dochodzenia, nie ma tu nic z detektywistycznej przygodówki;
- mdłe dialogi;
- wprowadzona od czapy mechanika dla idiotycznej sytuacji ([spoiler]w holut hotelowym siedzi kot, którego trzeba wyminąć zmyłką, bo najwyraźniej dzielna pani policjant nie może nad nim przejść ani wziąć na ręce, a gapiący się na tę komedię recepcjonista ani myśli pomóc[/spoiler]), z którą do czynienia więcej w tym epizodzie mieć nie będziemy.

Na sprawdzenie drugiego epizodu skusiły mnie tylko te grosze na promocji - 20zł za ten niedorobiony produkt to zwykłe zdzierstwo. Akcja się wlecze, fabuła nie może się skoncentrować, nie jest to też pozycja tak zła, że aż śmieszna i przynajmniej ciekawa. Horroru nie ma w śladowych nawet ilościach, a wszystkie obietnice ze Strony Sklepu to czcze gadanie ("a deep, thrilling and immersive story", no błagam). Jedyną godną uwagi tajemnicą "Silver Creek Falls" jest to, że nazbierała tyle pozytywnych opinii.

I must have been a couple years since I complete the free first chapter of this game. Was on my wishlist ever since, and finally got around to buying and playing the rest.

Chapter 1 I felt had more mystery of if the culprit was human or some kind of creature with hints of the supernatural. With this installment, we're starting to get more of a clear picture on the matter. (The hidden story about the Croatoan in Roanoke was part of what lured me in to go to uni there, btw.)

I enjoyed seeing more of Sara's character, her little quirks, and am interested in playing the next part.

The intrigue continues in Chapter 2 with a little more delving into the murders. A week has passed since you, Detective Sara Fitzgerald, initially arrived a Silver Creek Falls to investigate 3 strange cases and your partner has left. Instead, things get a little more sinister as you team up with an FBI agent, whose boss was expertly assassinated in the Silver Creek Falls hotel room you were previously staying in, and all your seized evidence has now mysteriously vanished. Together you are setting off to investigate the car crash and uncover more about what is going on surrounding the incidents at Sliver Creek Falls.

The plot for this chapter gets a convoluted and it feels like this is the closing of Act 1 of a story. It changes Chapter 1 into more of a prologue and it certainly doesn't deliver the story well, since this is meant to be the second act. It The game play does get hampered a little by the dialogue exposition dumps you receive, I think a few more clues or puzzles to uncover information would help this feel more of an investigative crime/ mystery game.
The puzzles are more complex compared to the previous instalment, and the way the cypher puzzle is presented to you in a convoluted manner does not help. I suspect there is a typo on the first puzzle, which means the clue to help decode it become false, and you are then confused at what the 2 separate pieces of information are telling you. Once you ignore that, it become easy to solve and I do appreciate the option of buying clues or buying a skip if you go get a bit frustrated with the puzzle.

As the game is a little longer, you can see more locations and different times of day. It is nice to see more scope of RPGMaker here and how it fleshes out these new places to give a bit more character; you can feel some different between the bigger cities and the tiny towns.
I like that the voice acting was brought back into the game to flesh out the mystery some more, my issue is this was done after the ending credits of the game, it would be easy to miss out on this if you didn't stay to the end of the credits. It would have been served better to add this into the game, though the cliffhanger it ended on was well executed.

Overall, I have to give it a negative review as the story feels a bit rushed and there is too many elements shoved in to create twists and turns which would organically happen in a longer game. It might be something you are interested in picking up during a sale if you fancy spending an hour on it.

This second chapter of the Silver Creek Falls series continue from the previous chapter where detective Sara Fitzgerald is assigned to a new partner from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Agent Valdez to investigate further into the unsolved mysteries of Silver Creek Falls. From the murder of Agent Valdez's former partner, Sara and Valdez investigate the disappearance of a hedge fund manager, attempt to locate an informant, search a suspicious bloodstained scene at a fisheries warehouse and follow a trail of clues back at Silver Creek Falls, a college campus, a pharmaceutical company's involvement and a secret research facility as a mystery adventure with thriller and comedic references.

Having played through most of the visual novels by Sapphire Dragon Productions, I would say the plot hook and story writing for mystery is better by having interesting plot hooks and development than the romance visual novels which seem rather short and rushed in comparison. I am recommending this chapter and the entire series because I know and hope Sapphire Dragon Productions do read through and take some of the player reviews and comments seriously and will consider my suggestion to focus more on mystery storylines and also consider adding comedic references in other titles in future. This chapter is recommended when at discount or in good bundle offer with chapter 3 as the game can be finished in less than 10 hours [spoiler]and the chapter has a cliffhanger ending.[/spoiler]

I know reviews are a little mixed for Chapter 2 but I still recommend it. At times, it gets a little off track and some evidence that is found don't seem to make all that much sense or fit into the story, but I PROMISE, it all adds up at the end. I'm reviewing this after having played Chapter 3 so I'll keep it short to avoid spoilers. It was short but worth it in my opinion.

Avec ce deuxième chapitre, [i][b]Silver Creek Fall[/b][/i] poursuit son petit bonhomme de chemin.

Le rythme y est certes plus lent, mais le contenu en contrepartie plus conséquent. La tension augmente crescendo, au fil des mystères et des révélations (ou, du moins, des éléments de réponse) qu'apporte cet épisode. Au passage, la trame du scénario s'étoffe encore, au point que les ramifications de cette sombre histoire semblent tentaculaires...

S'ajoutent à cela une bande son toujours aussi captivante, un puzzle ici ou là et, afin de conclure le chapitre en beauté, le cliffhanger qui va bien. En bref, la qualité est au rendez-vous !

I purchased Chapter 2 because Chapter 1, which came off as essentially a playable prologue, managed to set up the atmosphere and story threads to imply a much larger mystery brewing under the surface. We're now at the end of the second act and that's STILL all that's happened. Lots of implications of heavy stuff with almost no payoff. You can't just spend an entire story stringing the audience along, especially if you're charging seperately for each act.

Personally, I'm not going to be suckered into buying Chapter 3 based on this pattern.

I was hooked with the Chapter 1 and after reading all of the reviews, I finally buy it.
It last a bit longer than the first chapter, with more mystery and even few message to cypher. The twist ending do make me hooked and want to buy the third chapter. But I honestly think that the price is a bit too expensive for a game that I only play once and not last that long.

The first episode was free so I didn't mind that being bland and short.
However, the apple fetch quest and the maze near the end of the game where obviously included to lengthen game what was just as short at the first episode.

Not bothering with the 3rd installement

Otherwise an absolutely average game....in a score system from 1 to 10 with 10 being "awesome" and 1 being "crap"....this scored a 5 "Kevin"

I almost didn't buy this because Chaper 1 was so short, but I was assured in reviews it had more puzzles/story and so I took the chance. I am glad I did, and when the final chapter 3 comes out, I'll be sure to get that as well. :)

I am enjoying the story and the banter between the two main characters. I am also enjoying the mystery. I really liked the finale to Chapter 2 a lot, but won't say why due to spoilers.

My main criticism is that it is a little too linear at times, but given that this is as much or more about storytelling than a game per se, I find it totally forgiveable.

I can apply all the same reviews to this game as te last which I will list in a second, but the reason I like this game the most is because it allowed a lot more of flexibility of what you did and where you could go. I also like that they creators made sure the story didn't stray from the original and that made me pleased considering it can sometimes be difficult to keep the main plot even while adding other aspects into it ( such as all he new characters and enviroments ). Now this next part is the previouse review that I believe still fits in to this second chapter, but befor I start this next part I would like to add that I hope there will be a third chapter to this game.
I loved this game, it wasn't just the amazing soundtrack and stunning visuals that drew me to it. To me it was the story, playing this game makes you feel as though you were the actual person. You get to know the people you meet, and the people you dont meet. This is one of my personal favorite games I have played, I played this on youtube, but if you play it on your own please take in the surroundings and see the thrilling detail that the developers have put into this game.

Another great game. Loved the sound track and the story, still waiting to find out what's going on. Glad we finally me Lee Davis. The only bad part was the secret message and the cipher, if I had tried figuring it out myself it would have take 3 or 4 hours. Apart from that, great game and can't wait for the next. (Be awsome if it came out on christmas but probably not gonna happen.)

Mindblowing and bending! It makes you come back for more and makes you want to solve this mysterious case. A case unlike any other you've seen. It really grabs you into the story and makes you feel a part of it, as if you were the detective yourself. Its creppy, mysterious, comical, haunting and compelling.

I have been waiting for Chapter 2 since I finished Chapter 1 and I have to say that it worth it. Sapphire Dragon did a great job with the second chapter as they created a longer story and also new difficult puzzles. I am glad that somehow they continued the story from the first chapter.

Also I have to say that is a great improvement that they implemented a local map of the town, so I didn't had to get lost again. Inventory seems the same, but now in Chapter 2 you have more items to collect.

The new Steam achievements for the game are great as well and you really have to struggle to complete them, which is awesome.

From many 2D pixel games I have to say that this one started to be one of my favorite. However, I am a bit disappointed about the soundtrack, which needs to be improved and also perhaps some voices for the main characters would be nice.

Overall, the second chapter is really good and I can't wait for Chapter 3 to be released.

Hello everyone,

Normally I don't write reviews about games I play on Steam, however this one I had to. I happened to stumble up Silver Creek Falls Chapter 1 around the beginning of September and since it was free, I figured I would give it a try. It hooked me in like a video game should. The characters had depth, the gameplay was outstanding and it left me with wanting to unravel all of its secrets. I thought I would've have to wait years before I would be able to play the second part, however I was pleasantly surprised to see that it had already come out.

Now, this game is relatively short, however the puzzles took awhile, so if you were able to solve them within a few minutes the overall game would probably be 3-4 hours depending. This had so much more content than the previous chapter and once again the developers did an amazing job and left this chapter off with a cliff hanger. Always leave the audience wanting more, and that's exactly what they did.

This game isn't everyone's cup of tea, however It's definitely worth the 4.99$ You won't be disappointed.

TL;DR: Mystery crime adventure is a decent sequel to [url=http://store.steampowered.com/app/392450/]Chapter 1[/url] but lacks focus.

I'll keep this as spoiler-free as possible.

Chapter 2 starts where the free-to-play [url=http://store.steampowered.com/app/392450/]Chapter 1[/url] ([url=http://steamcommunity.com/id/Twistorian/recommended/392450]my review here[/url]) ends: mysteries of murder and disappearances abound at Silver Creek Falls. Sara Fitzgerald gets reassigned to the case, this time with a laid-back FBI Special Agent Valdez.

Story is still the main attraction of the game. A murder rises new worries but there are fortunately new leads to follow, and more ominous parties join the fray. While [i]Chapter 1[/i] had minor puzzle elements, [i]Chapter 2[/i] ups the difficulty with a couple of potentially tough puzzles. Fortunately for the more casual players they can be skipped in story-fitting way or in some cases simply bruteforced.

Actually, puzzles in [i]Chapter 2[/i] are what I originally expected (but was disappointed in)) in [i]Chapter 1[/i]: you actually have to think for yourself and use the evidence to deduce the answers. I congratulate on succeeding in bringing this aspect of detective-work to play a real role in the adventure.

Speaking of puzzles: I especially liked the encrypted text puzzle that, while basic if you know some cryptography, made one think and even use pen&paper (or notepad), math and evidence in unison to properly solve it. In-game character would give clues or even solve it for you if you just wanted to get on with the story. This puzzle was very well done except for the long walks that ensued.

Long walks are due to the maps being large and sometimes you have to walk back and forth for errands. Also, the investigators walk fairly slowly. There are still no addresses of important places on the map so this emphasizes the issue. There are also long corridors everywhere. These things are probably the worst aspects of the game. Sure, some of the walking and wandering is reasonable, like in searching the campus for a certain person or the back-alley for a certain dude. Fortunately there is a fast-walking mode (by pressing Shift while walking) that mitigates the issue.

Also, in a late part of the game there's a maze of sorts that you have to solve. Not only do you have to solve it once, you have to also walk it back through again, which breaks the story flow. I think skipping the maze backwards would have been better (and the characters could have had a nice 4th-wall breaking dialogue or similar after the skip as well). In this way it seems that because of this and other long walks the game becomes artificially longer than it could be. For the story to flow, it is important to cut unnecessary walking or at least spice it up with interesting interactions in the way.

There is lots of dialogue between Sara and agent Valdez when studying the case and this brings out their personalities very nicely. They even have different facial expressions for showing emotions in the dialogue. All side characters (aside from clerks) feel fleshed out and lively and also show emotions when appropriate. There are a few more people than in [i]Chapter 1[/i], which is good, though the streets are still strangely devoid of human life. Personally, I would have liked to see more of Sara's hotheaded side that resurfaces only maybe twice during the whole [i]Chapter 2[/i].

I encountered several non-gamebreaking bugs and one repeatable crash during my playthrough. Developers are great: all these bugs and issues were fixed quickly as the devs are active in the Steam forum and the game is now in a much more consistent and stable state than before the updates.

One annoying bug or feature was the cat in one of the hotels early in the game. If you tried to pass it, it would walk in the way and mock you by meowing. I was stuck there for some 10 minutes before I realized that the cat can be passed by walking past it while it's moving the other way. This was ridiculous but I'm not sure if it's considered a bug (and being fixed) or some kind of a meta-puzzle. I still find myself cursing at its stupidity. On my second playthrough (to see the fixes) it wasn't nearly as annoying so either it's fixed or I just knew how to deal with it.

For me the game lasted 4.5 hours to 100%, though the game records 2.5 hours. Some of my time went into reporting bugs and some for idling while solving the encryption puzzles online.

There was expectedly a cliffhanger at the end in anticipation of [url=http://store.steampowered.com/app/441060/]Chapter 3[/url], which finally released in spring 2016. All in all, I liked [i]Chapter 2[/i]: it has more content and it's more demanding than [i]Chapter 1[/i]. Still, it might have been better as a more compact and focused package, with less slow and aimless walking - in that [i]Chapter 1[/i] succeeded better. Story is still very interesting and it's the main driving force here: it makes you want to see how it continues.

I think the price of 5 € is adequate if you enjoyed [i]Chapter 1[/i] but mind that it's only about 2-4 hours long. If that feels too short for you, you might want to wait for a sale.

I would totally reccommend to anyone that loves mystery games,
Honestly when I first got the game I thought it would be a RPG horror but once I downloaded chapter 1 it was amazing but chapter 2 has a longer story to it as well a bit more puzzles and more trophies/achievements.... But looking fowards for chapter 3!!!

just about as good as the first chapter, longer too. one complaint though, had to find someone and the way the map is laid out for that area, i could not find him for a good 20 minutes till i found a tiny passage way all the way to the right that lets you go further into the map. i know attention to detail is a must in this game but i feel something like shouldn't have been an issue. other than that can't wait for the last chapter!

such an awesome game!!! Was not intending to finish it in one sitting but got so immersed , the brain teasers are just amazing; from the plot, to the dialogue, the humour in some of the references, the ambience, the clues for the Caesarian cypher are visually there... There is a lot of detail in making this game...worth more than what I paid for... Can't wait for Chapter 3!!! This is my first game. Please make more games like this..really enjoyable.

My first impressions:

I played already the first chapter and it was really short, but I liked it. So today finally the second chapter came out and after a peek in the game, I already see that there definitely is some work put in here. Details are important and it shows. Also the narrative is interesting and it really seems, that they aren't lying about, that you should listen/read carefully. If things keep going in this direction, it will be a great game definitely worth its price. I will update the review when I finish this chapter.
