For those who like Hidden Object Games, I recommend this one. It's that perfect mix of puzzles with an interesting location to keep you exploring. The art style on the hidden object screens make finding the objects a nice challenge since they don't stick out. (There are no morphing objects, for those curious). There are some puzzles where it definitely helped that I took notes, especially for an underwater puzzle and one in the bonus chapter (the one that determines the good or bad ending). There's really only one puzzle I personally usually have to skip because it's a pain and the strategy guide (which is usually good for everything else) doesn't help with that one much. The draw of a cursed lighthouse and its history was what led me to buy this game, and I was happy with all the lore from the newspapers and logs around the setting.
I only have a few critiques. Jane and Mike, the player characters, look very rough in cutscenes where they need to emote. Which is weird because the lighthouse keeper Patrick, while gnarly looking, does better in that regard. The game only has 4 different tracks of music, which can get a little repetitive. I like 2 of them, but one is more dramatic and can be a little distracting when it plays on a hidden object screen (especially if you're getting frustrated trying to find something). There's also some overlap between the same word for different objects (an arrow as in one you shoot from a bow or a needle from a scale), which I honestly wouldn't have really clocked if the game didn't always differentiate between a saw and a hacksaw. I was flummoxed that an awl was called a scriber, but that just feels like a "welp, guess I learned something" sort of moment.
Overall, I recommend this game to someone who likes a really cool atmosphere while playing hidden object games. Being alone while trying to find someone and deal with a possessed lighthouse keeper (without other characters distracting you with sidequests) while uncovering the mystery to the sound of waves and creaking shipwrecks was awesome. The objects blend so well with the art style that it provides a nice challenge. It also has replayability, both for the bonus chapter endings and having a lot of objects to cycle through so there's not too much overlap between playthroughs. I'm looking forward to see if the developers make another game like this, because I'd be interested.

Yeah... This H.O.G. is okay. It ain't great, but it ain't that bad either.
I like the weird mystery (wish we got to know more about it... But okay) and:
-> If you want a positive ending? Play the Story Mode *only*
-> If you want a cliffhanger? Play the Bonus Content too.
I like how this game started off puzzles by making them rather simple and then progressed them into much harder ones.
I would comment on how many items you are given, but... I've played a H.O.G. where I held nearly 30 items and well... This is completely fine... Lol......
THE [b]ONLY[/b] PART I will complain about is this: [i]sometimes[/i] you will get stuck and the "Hint system" is like "NAH! THERE IS NOTHING TO DO ANYWHERE!!!!!"............. My advice? Use the "Strategic Guide". Second advice? It's most likely the window. For *some* reason... The Hint system hates windows. I got stuck TWICE because of a damn window!!
That and the mouse pointer isn't always clear you can go up or this or which way or wherever and eh... It's trial and error, but it's minor compared to getting stuck. >..>

Decent point and click adventure. Story doesn't slog down the pace and isn't comically hard or way too easy: a Goldilocks game. Worth it if it's on deep discount.

You play as woman. You and your husband have washed up ashore an unknown island after a series of big waves destroy your ship. Your husband is missing when you wake up. You are, for no known reason given a list of things to find amongst certain piles of junk about the extremely cluttered island, only to keep one item per list. You use the item you keep to further progress about the island, such as using bolt cutters to get through a chain locked gate, or using balls to solve a ball puzzle that has been set up. You repeat this process over and over until I assume you find your husband.
Absolute insanity, it causes fear in me.

Making it simple and short:
Pros: The game is very beautiful and has a great cosmic horror vibe. Wise decision to make 2d animated cutscenes instead of the usual weird CGI HOGs tend to have
Cons: The gameplay itself is not all that good. Your inventory will always be cluttered cause the game gives too many itens right at the beginning, some you wont be using until much latter, and there's a LOT of backtracking wich is made worse by the lack of a map and fast travel.
The pacing feels constrained. HOG scene spots will be reused, what is very common in the genere, but this game doesn't lead the player back to them on a natural manner like better HOGs does
I recommend the game only at 70%+ off
Probably what you would call an average run of the mill hidden object game.
The artwork and premise seemed decent, but the gameplay felt stale, not going above average. In my short time I already noticed it wanted me to backtrack. Lack of a map, fast travel and proper hints whats next made me understand this experience isnt going to be that great.
Plus I took a long break from playing it and when I came back my save was gone. I wasnt impressed enough to start again.
I got this from a bundle and I already know what to expect from these types of games. It doesnt have to be much, but if its already trying to artificially drag out the experience, then it isnt worth it. I you have a particular fondness for them, then it will be alright. For the average person I think it will be a mediocre experience.

You have to visit location multiple but the hint system is worst. To get to play this game the devs put the complete solution with the game instead of making the hint system right... realy bad

I was not too big of a fan of this hidden object game. It felt very clunky when switching scenes or clicking on literally anything. It has no map and it is one of those hidden object games where the hint only works if you are on the right scene and it even then only for the one step which the game thinks you should do next even if you have multiple things you could do.
Works fine on Linux with Proton (5.13-6).

...is a hidden object game. After you ship got caught in a strange storm with glowing symbols in the sky, you wake up on the shore of an island and find that your spouse was captured and dragged to a mysterious old lighthouse.

For those unfamiliar with the genre, you play on static scenes or panels, from which paths branch, sometimes in several directions. On each panel, there are things you can observe (if the mouse cursor is a magnifying glass), interact with or pick up for later use.
The genre namesake hidden object puzzles consists of a screenful of clutter objects: a shoe, an apple, a frog, a sword, a bottle, etc., from which you must find a specific list of 12 objects. Some objects, marked in blue in the list, require an interaction, such as moving another unrelated object or opening a container to be revealed.
Almost every door, box or chest require some form of puzzle to open. These can be observation puzzles such as images needing to be reconstructed by moving tiles around, or logic-based puzzles with a mechanism needing to be manipulated. Other simply need the use of a key or items (a screwdriver or a crowbar, for instance). And yet others a combination of both, such as a mechanical lock which is missing parts before you can try to crack it.

I found the game to have a very decent quantity of hidden object puzzles. Each of the hand-drawn scenes seamlessly blended the items to be found with the static background, so you couldn't just guess which items were removable. When a puzzle had to be redone a second time (with a different list of objects to be found), the previously removed items were returned to keep the clutter sufficiently dense.
While the story isn't anything to write home about, the game captured the expected otherworldliness I expected, with strange and spooky areas, unsettling animations, and an OK voice acting. You even get a short bonus mission upon completing the game where you experience the same events from a different person's point of view.

[i]Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light[/i] is very badly optimized for modern PCs. I've had it sitting in my Steam inventory for a while, and upon recently hearing it was rereleased by its publisher, I expected a decent resolution or at the very least widescreen compatibility. What I found was a blurry, ugly game, stretched horizontally. I had to move it down to window mode to even attempt at enjoying the visuals, uncovering its 1024x768 resolution the likes of which I had on my computer 20 years ago.
Puzzles of other varieties are few and unimaginative, unchallengeing at best, tedious at worst. There is terrible backtracking at times, the game ending on the sour note of picking up an object from the very end of the panel branch, going all the way back to the very first panel to place the object, then having to once again go all the way to the last panel to redo the same puzzle a second time to get a second object, and travel back once more. Oh, and there are two endings defined by the very last puzzle, they don't tell you which choice does what, and the game expects you to redo it enterly to find out that the second ending is a mere 3-second difference in the last cutscene.
[h1][b]Verdict[/b]: ★★☆☆☆ - [i]"Forget it."[/i][/h1]
What we have here is a terribly average hidden object game, with absolutely nothing unique, nothing that differentiates it from other, much better or modern-looking games out there. If you got it from a bundle, give it a go, but it isn't worth actually spending money to acquire this title.

Nah- not worth it, stuck in a very small rectangle in the center of the screen in fullscreen mode- launch options to change resolution to try to get actual full screen had no effect, other than creating a very pixelated screen. Might show better on a smaller screen, but not great on an ultra-wide.
Hints- don't actually tell you where to go or what to look at next, other than in hidden-object scenes. (They work fine there.)
I enjoy good HOG/HOPA games for casual relaxation- this one just wasn't fun from the start. It shows its age- and doesn't show it well.
Just save your money- there are better HOG/HOPAs out there- this one doesn't even have the "benefit" of achievements or trading cards.

classic clicker, quite engaging, really nice puzzle game. I recommend using expert mode as the hints are still available often.
I enjoyed it, but felt it was a bit dated to other HOG games I've played recently. The good thing about that is that the puzzles are not too easy, and will actually have to remember some clues and use some brain to figure some of them out.
There are no achievements, so you can use the hint button as much as you'd like, even in HOG scenes.
Story was good for most of it, goes off the deep end near the ending for my taste, but that's probably a personal taste thing. Setting, art, voice acting, music were all good. One of the ones I might replay again in the future.

At first I thought it was going to be a usual run of the mill kind of game but how wrong I was.
The puzzles are tricky but not too difficult that you can't complete them all.
I managed to complete the game and am looking forward to playing the bonus content.
I finished it in a few days but it is a really good game and it has the right mix of elements, such as finding lots of different things in an area, going back to places several times and it just works really well.
One of my favourite games I've played in a long time. :)

PLOT
Mike and Jane decide to spend a summer afternoon aboard Sea Bliss: their beautiful yacht.
But what should have been a pleasant outing turns into a nightmare when they suddenly find themselves in the throes of a violent storm that slams the yacht out of control into the waves.
But the strange thing is not only seeing the darkened sky, Mike and Jane wonder what the strange symbol that has appeared in the sky is, but they don't have time to understand why a tidal wave overwhelms them.
They both end up stranded on a desert island, while unconscious Mike is dragged away by a mysterious person, Jane wakes up alone and dazed vaguely remembers what happened and doesn't know where she is.
Not knowing what to do, he sets out to explore the island in search of Mike, but finds only desolation: an abandoned and time-worn lighthouse, and a large dump of shipwrecks, what happened in this strange place?
Soon, however, his diary is filled with notes left by the guardian before he was the victim of a tragic story, Jane realizes that Mike has been kidnapped for an obscure reason and that his life is in danger, she must be able to save him.
But Jane's task is not easy because the island hides several secrets, will she be able to stop this mysterious kidnapper, free Mike and go home together?
PLAYABILITY
The story is interesting, as graphics it is a good product because it well depicts in detail the feeling of loneliness that the island transmits, left to fall into ruin like a large ship cemetery.
There are 12 object search scenes because sometimes they are used 2 times with different objects.
There are 15 mini-games, they don't all have the same difficulty because some are easily overcome while others require great effort.
The music fits the theme of the game.
This "Collection" edition gives us an extra chapter only at the end, this bonus doesn't add an epilogue to the story, but allows us to play the adventure as Mike; an idea that I found original.
In conclusion I can say that it is quite pleasant as an experience, even if the lack of a map that indicates the active areas where there are things to do is felt a lot, sometimes I found myself wandering around without knowing where to go ..... Even why the help button doesn't show you the direction to follow with the arrow; while it would have been very useful to have the possibility of moving quickly from one location to another.
Don't worry, however, you won't be stuck in the game because you can consult "The strategic guide" by simply pressing the button and know what you have to do in case you get lost on the island.

A decent HOG (Hidden Object Game).
Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light Collector's Edition ist ein Hidden Object Spiel, bei dem du in der Rolle von Jane auf die Suche nach deinem verunglückten Mann Mike gehst. Du spielst durch verschiedene Szenarien einer Insel- mal mit Hidden Bildern, mal suchst du Mechanismen oder hin und wieder deckst du Mechanismen auf und löst kleinere Rätsel.
Musik & Sounds
Fand ich mittelmäßig. Bei manchen Hidden Object Bildern war die Musik einfach weg zwischendrin. Einige Geräusche fand ich eher nervig - wie beispielsweise das Ertönen einer Schiffsglocke während ich ein Objekt angeklickt hab. Nette Effekte hingegen sind tobendes Wasser oder wenn du bei den Bildern quer durchs Bild klickst- dann hörst du Geblubber. Die Vertonung ist auch okay.

unscharf in Full Screen. Also vermutlich ist besser, das Spiel nicht im Full Screen zu spielen, dann sind die einzelnen Szenen vermutlich besser zu erkennen. Bei einigen Bildern hatte ich Probleme, die einzelnen Gegenstände zu finden, da das für mich oft "gleich" aussah. Was mir gut gefällt sind die Videosequenzen zwischendrin.
Hinweise
Süß finde ich dass wir als "Ladebalken" zum nächsten Hinweis einen Leuchtturm haben . Wenn der aufgeladen ist und du nicht weißt, wo du weiter spielen sollst, dann einfach in jede Szene klicken und auf "Hint" klicken. Funktioniert meistens, dass du dann siehst wo es weitergeht. Irreführend ist ab und zu das "blinken" von Szenen, bei denen du gerade gewesen bist oder die du noch gar nicht lösen kannst.
Szenen
Du springst zwischen vielen Szenen hin und her. in der Kapitelübersicht siehst du ungefähr, wo du gerade stehst und was dich noch erwartet. Gefühlt kommen mehr Szenen dazu, dass du noch mehr hin und her springen kannst. Du musst immer den direkten Verbindungsweg zwischen zwei Orten anklicken. So kann dann eine Reise deines Startgebietes zur nächsten Insel doch schon ne Weile dauern. Die Szenen sind süß geestaltet und passen zum Thema. Mir hätte es jedoch gereicht, nicht jede Szene zig Mal sehen zu müssen beim Suchen wo es weitergeht.
Rätsel
Ganz nett. Hin und wieder lösen wir ein Logikrätsel, ein Bild oder reparieren etwas. Wir lesen auch einige Notizen mit Hinweisen, schauen mit Ferngläsern in die Umgebung und in Wimmelbildern suchen wir auch Mechanismen zum Finden versteckter Objekte. Laut Beschreibung wäre es möglich, alle Rätsel zu überspringen. Das hab ich nicht getestet.Aber bei einem Rätsel hab ich einen Hinweis angeklickt, es wurde ein Gegenstand angezeigt bzw ein "Schweinwerfergebiet" und das wars. Da ich nicht wusste, was ich da für einen Gegenstand habe, wusste ich auch nicht so genau, was ich damit anfangen soll. Da ging es dann auch nicht weiter und ich hab dann im Wechsel den Gegenstand angeklickt und eine Stelle im Bild, bis das "Rätsel" gelöst war.
Story
Die Geschichte fängt meiner Meinung nach sehr cool an, aber flaut dann sehr stark ab. Also ich finde die Geschichte eher verwirrend und würde sagen, mittelmäßig "ok".

Da Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light Collector's Edition funktioniert und ich keine Bugs festgestellt habe, gebe ich ganz knapp den Daumen nach oben. Das Spiel ist ja nun auch schon einige Jahre alt und im Bündel mit Sicherheit mal einen Blick wert. Ich habe den Key von HH-Games zum Testen bekommen, dafür vielen Dank. Vom Einzelpreis her gesehen muss ich jedoch anmerken, dass in der gleichen Preiskategorie HOG- und 3-Gewinnt-Spiele mit deutlich besserer Umsetzung veröffentlicht wurden. Mich hat dieses Spiel eher nicht so gepackt, eher genervt vom ständigen Hin und Her wechseln der Szenen auf der Suche in irgendeinem Bild um einen Gegenstand weiter zu kommen- umd dann wieder zig andere Bilder durchzuklicken. Also zum Zeitvertreib durchaus okay.

Decent older HOG game.
If you like hidden object games, buy this one on sale.
The game has a good story but very low resolution! Other than that, it's a great game for those who have mid-2000s or earlier computers with a smaller monitor. The problem with these older games is that some only display at 1024 by 768 resolution, which is way too small for my big 4K computer gaming rig. My monitor alone is a 43-inch class monitor (4K). It makes it very difficult to play an old game like this. The game displays a little window basically in the corner of the screen, which makes it very difficult to even see the little puzzles in hidden objects Other than that, it's a great game. It would be nice if Steam made it clearer when purchasing older games like this how they will display on our computers based on our computer hardware profiles, because otherwise we waste a lot of time and money on games we won't be able to enjoy.
Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light represents the best and worst of Hidden Object Game (HOG) technology circa 2010. Your experience will depend on your taste in HOGs. For me, the good point was it was very hidden object heavy. There were lots of hidden object screens and you needed to solve them more than once - a classic HOG experience of that era. Then there are the classic problems of that era - low resolution objects with poor translations and lots of backtracking to find where the hidden object puzzles are reactivating. There is also the classic problem of not having an in-game map, which means clicking back and forth through a dozen screens to find the object then get back to where you need to use it.
The story is stuck between the juvenile and mature in such a way to align with neither group. There are hallucinations of people dying that would be disturbing to younger players. Then, at the end of the bonus chapter, there is a giant floating purple head with a goofy voice that made me laugh out loud at how cartoonishly silly it was.
The art style can be ... incongruous. The characters appear to have been animated by different artists at different times. At one point, I was briefly confused when an angry old woman with a young boy's haircut leapt into the scene unexpectedly. Turns out it was supposed to be the main character's boyfriend. I don't think I was supposed to be laughing at that moment, at least not so loudly.
The game has no achievements to hunt, and if you don't like the ending of the bonus chapter, you have to replay the entire game to get a second guess at whether to choose right or left.
Taken as a whole, I cannot recommend Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light when there are so many better made modern and classic HOGs on the market deserving of $5.

C'est plus qu'un jeu d'objets cachés (en fait la partie objets cachés est assez quelconque et sans guère de motif) : la partie aventure est bien faite avec une histoire qui est intéressante. Il n'y a pas de gros blocage. Les puzzles sont faisables (probablement souvent trop simples pour beaucoup de joueurs cependant), la navigation entre les écrans est aisée.

Ein etwas älteres Spiel, das merkt man schnell an einigen Gameplay Mechaniken. Die 'Tipp'-Funktion ist nicht immer sonderlich hilfreich, aber es gibt einen integrierten Spiel-Guide. Dieser ist meist sehr gut beschrieben, auch wenn die wichtigen Bilder etwas klein dargestellt werden.
Zur Story kann man nicht viel sagen, es unterscheidet sich dahingehend nicht wirklich von anderen Spielen und die Geschichte versucht relativ tiefgründig zu sein, schneidet aber die meisten Sachen nur grob an. Allerdings erfüllt es halt seinen Zweck und konnte mich circa 3 Stunden beschäftigt halten.
Bei einem Angebotspreis von einem Euro also vollkommen okay.
If it's on sale then it is worth getting.
A relic from my childhood, I remember borrowing a disk copy of this from the library years ago.
Anyway, it's your basic point and click search game, but has particularly exciting music, some decent puzzles and minigames, and a surprisingly good plot.
I actually recommend buying this. It's a joy to play, even after all these years.

Heavy reuse of HOP locations without progression of previously found items is a major detractor from the game maintaining a sense of permanence to the player's actions.
This game took me a little over 3 and a half hours played casually, and I really enjoyed it. Excellent artwork and gameplay. There was a good range of puzzles with varying difficulties, although nothing overly hard. The story was interesting and the use of objects wasn't too linear so you often had a range of objects in your inventory to think through. Little disappointed with the final puzzle though (the one to do with the symbols). It had the opportunity to be something that you actually had to put a bit of thought into, and then it turned out to be an overly simple solution that breaks the immersion a little as the answer isn't something that the puzzle setter could have possibly known.

This game is HOG heavy (too many for me). I enjoyed the story and the puzzles, except for one that kept glitching and one that would not let me place a piece to begin solving it. Because of the latter issue, I could not finish the game. That's okay since it got rather tedious with the over use of hidden object scenes. The story was interesting enough to keep my attention until the jewel puzzle problem. Oh well.

Decent HOG with lots of hidden object sections and regular backtracking.
The setting and art style are good.
Superb water animations.
Music is serviceable.
The bonus chapter is short and sweet, and it has a satisfying ending. I liked that.
The story is gripping, but you may get bored sometimes due to the lack of fast travel and the underwhelming hint system.
There is no in-game achievement system. Disappointed by that.
But overall, I liked playing this.
Get this on a sale or in any bundle.

Another typical Shaman Games adventure. It's not super impressive, but it is entertaining enough for an afternoon.
This game is a mess. It is confusing and I dont had fun playing it. The story is weird and make dont much sense. The bonus chapter was boring but I have played it anyways even I dont had fun at it and wanted to stop playing. Dont buy it.
[b]Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light[/b] is a hidden object, point & click adventure by Shaman Games. A lot more hidden object focused than the other titles I've played from this developer. Certainly not awful, some of the logic is kinda dumb but I did get a bit of a laugh out of it after I'd put the solutions together, it probably helped that I was streaming this to a friend while I was playing, cut-scenes are rather camp so it helps to take it less seriously as a whole. Probably a safe recommendation if you already enjoy titles within the genre, best to think of this as a more neutral recommendation and maybe a light "not recommend" as an entry to hidden object games.

해당 지역에 할일이 있는지 없는지만 표시되는 점은 답답.
도전과제가 없는점도 취향에 따라 장점이자 단점이 되겠다.

Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light, или по-нашему, Морские Легенды: Призрачный Свет - игра в жанре "Приключение", выпущенная в Steam в январе 2012 года. Разработкой занималась украинская команда Shaman Games Studio, издателями выступили 1C Entertainment. На 2021 год игра успела собрать 38 обзоров, дающих в сумме положительный рейтинг. Давайте и мы посмотрим, что же нам предлагают.
По сюжету мы вынуждено оказываемся на мрачном затерянном острове посреди океана в роли девушки по имени Джейн. Наше судно потерпело крушение по неизвестной причине, а единственного близкого человека утащила неведомая сущность прямо на наших глазах. Как быть? Броситься на помощь возлюбленному? Или для начала попытаться понять, что вообще произошло?
В самом начале игры на выбор дается две сложности, и более тяжелая подразумевает ограничения на подсказки и иные плюшки геймплея, однако, мы с братом абсолютно спокойно прошли от корки до корки всё именно на ней. Игровой процесс представляет собой типичный набор головоломок в жанре "Квест". Акцент здесь будет сделан на поиск предметов и мест, где их можно применить, однако порой эти головоломки будут перемежаться задачами на подбор, мозаиками, лабиринтами и рядом других занимательных заданий. В особо сложных местах всегда можно либо запросить подсказку, либо вовсе пропустить трудность (дайте мне такое в реал!) и пойти дальше по сюжету, если уж совсем проблема или нет духа приключений.
У игры приятное, ненавязчивое музыкальное сопровождение и красивые фоны локаций с пиратско-морской тематикой. Как ни странно, но русский язык в комплекте не прилагается, однако русификатор можно найти в Steam. Перевод местами не совсем соответствует тому, что нужно, но серьезных косяков, сильно помешавших нам продвинуться дальше, замечено не было. Из минусов можно назвать еще отсутствие возможности быстро перемещаться между локациями, хотя карта в наличии имеется. Бегать туда-сюда рано или поздно может наскучить, однако лично нас это не сильно огорчило.
По мере того, как основная игра будет пройдена, нам дадут возможность примерить на себя роль уже другого персонажа, а именно [spoiler]спасенного нами возлюбленного по имени Майк. Вместе с бывшей главной героиней нам предстоит найти способ навсегда покинуть проклятый необитаемый остров. [/spoiler]
По итогу имеем весьма добротное приключение с морским колоритом, древними тайнами, атмосферной музыкой и мрачноватыми, но живописными пейзажами. По скидке 50% вполне можно попробовать!

Theres a ton of back tracking in this game in order to trigger HOG areas,
If you can handle all of the back tracking and no quick map to get you to and from it takes a while to do all the back tracking,
over all its not too bad of a game and the story is as basic as they come,
This is a routine hidden object casual puzzle/adventure game with a nautical/sunken ship theme. Solving various puzzles and hidden object minigames reveals the plot and uncovers the mystery. Resolution is fixed and the game only works in 4:3 stretched aspect ratio.
Once more we see mobile devs trying to screw over PC gamers. On Steam, this is $5 USD, on app stores, they've been giving it away completely free. Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be expected to pay a premium for a free mobile game just because it's been lazily dumped on Steam.
I loved this game!!
It has a great art design, a really deep story and very intriguing puzzles. The main story got me completely hooked, I finished it in about 3 hours. And after that you can play a bonus chapter that ties in really well with the main story and lets you unlock all the extra content, like concept art, wallpapers and such.
A really enjoyable game, would definitely recommend.

A fun old school HOG with a unique story, made for a lazy Saturday afternoon.
Puzzle oyunlarını seviyorsanız gerek hikayesi ile gerek bulmacaları ile oldukça başarılı bir oyun. Ana oyunu 2 saat gibi bir sürede bitirmeniz mümkün ancak "ben ekstraları da oynayacam kardeşim" diyorsanız hikayeyi farklı bir gözden farklı şekilde bitirdiğinizde yaklaşık 3,5 saat gibi bir oynama süresi ile zaman geçirmek için ideal bir oyun.
Pretty good, probably one of the best of these I have played in a while ... due to the unusual story. To say more would be to ruin it. Like all the others of it's ilk ... nice scenery and some difficult puzzles (which I usually skip!). Fun stuff and no real "cheap" items to find in the Hidden Object parts. About the only thing that disappointed me with this game is that on some of the other "Collector's Edition" games of this type, the Soundtrack is available for download after you complete it. I enjoy these soundtracks and wish I could have this one. Other than that, good game.

Mainly an abundance of congested hidden object puzzles with little story. Music is fine but the graphics are soft and grainy. I got bored with it. The back and forth navigation without a shortcut map grew tedious in between puzzles.

A gem of a game! It feels like a Romantic tale the sea filled with haunting stories! I definitely recommend this game for anyone who is interested in a good sea adventure story along with awesome inspiring graphics and supernatural encounters.
PROS:
- Very good story with quality cutscenes.
- Full immersion right from the beginning of the game.
- Female and male protagonists in the main game, and bonus chapter respectively.
- Retractable inventory bar. It can be fixed or free to the heart of the player.
- Awesome backgrounds! (In bonus content you can set them as your desktop image or screensaver!)
- The music might be repetitive at some point. However, it adds intensity to the game.
- Hidden objects game fits wonderfully with the game.
- Hint button looks like a lighthouse. So cute!
- Strategy guide is useful when you get stuck or forgot where certain objects can be used.
CONS:
- No fast travelling map. (Although, I would stare that those background scenes for hours! Well made!)
- The game crashed three times for me. It might be the speed with which I used the cursor or my processor is low. However, you can repair the dysfunctionality easily and finish the game.
- No Steam Achievements, no trading cards.
Thus, I can easily say that this game has become my personal favorite. I can even use it to teach my students about English Romanticism. It would fit perfectly with Samuel Taylor Coleridge's "The Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner"! The lighthouse keeper and the skeleton captain do have this resemblance to Coleridge's Mariner when he "shot the Albatross!"
Average HoG. Nothing special but still entertaining to play if you like the genre.

I enjoyed the game but did not finish it. Upon completion of the last puzzle of the game (a "pyramid puzzle"), my computer immediately froze, its fans went into overdrive, and it showed a blue-screen error code of "System Service Error." I do not know if this is a common issue with this game, but be warned that loading certain cutscenes in the game may give your computer serious issues as it did for me.
Very nice HOG, very recommended. You're stuck on a cursed island and have to find your partner, who has been kidnapped by the former lighthouse attendant who's gone mad.
I played through it twice, plus the bonus content, so in terms of play length it's about average. The graphics are good (nautical, as the name suggests). What's better still is that I encountered no bugs during any of my playthroughs.
The puzzles are fantastic -- you have a wide and plentiful diversity of puzzles along with many Hidden Object minigames where the items to be found are randomized each time and you get to play through each of the HOGs twice.
All in all, this had everything I look for in a decent HOG/puzzle game: lots of good minigames, some clever item puzzles, and decent artwork and animation.

Mais um game bem casual que cumpre o que promete, oferecendo uma boa história, gráficos, gameplay e música a um preço bem interessante. O jogo oferece ainda uma pequena continuação ao final da história principal que esclarescem outros eventos dentro da historia principal. Recomendo pra quem curte o estilo.

TLDR: Just another generic casualized point&click game.
It is okayish if you are desperate. A few items are almost off the screen in hog scenes, and you cannot take items that need assembly along and finish them out of the inventory, so there is extra backtracking. And it feels like they just dumped stuff in the bonus chapter. It was pretty annoying at the end. The story is mostly a mix of several common themes, which isn't bad, in fact the story is the best about this game, but it just doesn't have a good flow. It isn't always logical where to go next and why.
If you like HOG games with heavier emphasis on HOS and less on the puzzle element, this piece would fit the bill. There is an story being told with occasional cutscenes to drive the story, although I did not particularly find it too interesting. My only real gripes are that it does not support 16:9 widescreen resolution, so you're forced to play on a lower resolution with black pillars on the side and that the hint system isn't particularly helpful, except for the HOS minigames. Still, the game is pretty cheap and is relatively free of bugs. Aside from the occasional frustration from the wonky hint system and the low resolution graphics, this piece is definitely playable. Wait for a sale before picking this piece up.

This was my first foray into HO games. I picked it up for £0.99 on another site. At that price, it was great value casual entertainment. I've been working my way through the attractive and well-designed puzzles within this mystery tale for a full day so far, so I've already had my money's worth. It turned my Sunday into a day of pleasure and intrigue. I like that there are clues available to help us if we get stuck. The level of difficulty was just right for me. (I don't enjoy straining my brain too much.) I admire the artwork within the game. The music is atmospheric and the story is imaginative.

Перед вашими глазами типичная игра в жанре поиска предметов. Самого поиска реально хватает! Да, друзья, игра старой закалки, так что будьте готовы искать кузнечика в разбитом судне, а после какой-нибудь котелок в кладовке, ну и сотню других предметов. У данного жанра огромная база фанатов, да я и сам люблю игры подобного плана. По личному опыту скажу, что Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light Collector's Edition хороший продукт, который составил бы конкуренцию многим новинкам жанра.
Кроме самого поиска есть и привычные глазу головоломки, но никаких *фишек* нет, а вот визуально игра порадовала. Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light Collector's Edition пенсионер среди своих собратьев, но картинка и качество анимации на высоте. Сюжет тоже можно назвать сильной стороной игры, вот только финал вышел довольно рваным. Несколько часов идешь к цели, рискуешь жизнью, а потом тебе показывают видеоролик на секунд 5...конец! Благо есть бонусная глава, которая позволит посомтреть на эту же историю, но глазами другого персонажа.
Ничего про саму историю писать не буду, ибо спойлерить грешно. Самой игре я поставил бы крепкую 4ку (из 5), но повествование очень медленное, события разворачиваются со скоростью мелодрамы. Из-за этого не буду советовать игру абсолютному большинству фанатов жанра, а вот неспешным игрокам гарантирую хороший вечер. Хочу поблагодарить всех за отдачу и лайки, берегите нервы и избегайте шлака в магазине.

I did enjoy the game. Simple hidden object game with a little story.
Unfortunately the game was crashing every 5-10 minutes to a point that at each crash I was forced to restart my computer as i could not even get to task manager or anything to end the task. This means the game is actually unplayable which is a shame.

Just finished Sea Legends after playing a few hours a day over about four days. The game is well done with beautiful art, some nice puzzles and an pretty good story which kept me interested to the end.

This I like. Decent HOG scenes mixed with some of the standard puzzles. A nice supernatural sea themed game. Comes with a bonus story that helps flesh out a bit of the story. Worth throwing a few bucks down on. Especially if you can grab it on sale or in a bundle. My only gripe is occasionally the item your looking for is partially blocked by something else. Oh and the some of the bonus HOG scenes were a bit picky about where you clicked.

At first, I didn't enjoy this game because it dragged on and didn't keep me on the edge of my seat. The story is just meh to me, but the art is nice. The only reason I'm giving it a thumbs up is because of the music, art, and the fact that it's a collector's edition, so there are tons of bonus content, including an extra sequence of gameplay from another character's perspective. (So cool!)
Nice game for those people who like easy HOGs. I had a nice time playing,but even on Expert mode it was not a difficult game.
Add some achievements and trading cards will add an extra charm and it will help the game!

I just can't. The graphics are okay, the story is typically dull but okay, the puzzles are simple, and the HOS are not bad. But the fact that there is no travelling map means a thumbs down from me for this game. I tried to finish it, but I am sick and tired and going back and forth to each scene looking for some new action.
I bought this game on sale (a couple of bucks?), but it's not worth my time to finish it. I don't care about Mike, and I really don't care about Jane, who has the most irritating voice and thank god she didn't speak beyond the first sequence.
The cut scenes are nice and short, I'll give it that.

There are two different difficulty game modes to choose from: Regular and Expert.
The notebook keeps track of progression in the game. Such as story events and clues.
There is a map in the game but it is not automatically given at the start of the game.
There is a padlock feature that is available to lock the inventory panel in place to make it stationary.
There are some interactive items in the game. Some of these interactive items may require extra components before they can be interacted with. All interactive items are marked with a symbol in one of the corners.
The hidden object scenes consist of the following: Traditional word lists. Some of these hidden object scenes may require little or no interaction.
The puzzles are fairly easy to solve without having the need to skip any of them.
Since this is a collector's edition game, there is a bonus chapter, it can be accessed only after the main story is completed.
Miscellaneous
The extra features: Bonus Chapter; Wallpapers; Soundtrack; Concept Art; Screen Saver and Game's Strategy Guide. Most of these features can be accessed only after the entire game is completed.
Final thoughts: I have found the game enjoyable to a certain extent. The replay value for the game is low. I would recommend this game, but not at the game's full price value.

This game was a nice diversion on a cold Sunday Afternoon.
I've played a lot of HOPA (Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure) games and this one ranks even below the sub-par category. There are many better games of this type here on Steam for same price or cheaper/sale. Save your money for them. Brief review below.
Cons:
Graphics: Mid-2012 game and the artwork looks very dated and no detail
Gameplay: No map! Too few scene areas to search--you just keep returning to same ones-
over and over--which makes for tedious and boring back-tracking and travel
HOG scenes: Only a few and repeated scenes that you must return to for game progression
Hog's are also not fun to solve, using what I've coined as "gray-faded washed out effect"
forcing you to pixel-hunt for every object, and that gets really old--really fast!
Soundtrack: Awful--I've heard better music in an elevator
Story: I've read cereal boxes with more plot depth and interest
