Крайне душная механика с цеплянием за мох каким-то тросом. Неинтуитивно. Непонятно, куда и как полетит героиня игры. Какая-то малопредсказуемая механика. Да еще используются эти прыжки с инвалидской тарзанкой кругом. Неинтересно.

先说结论
这就是屎，该游戏操作上限极高但下限也极低，你最好确认你玩过蔚蓝什么的
不然后期会跟我一样觉得自己是个傻逼，为什么要花钱买罪受
（不过这个后末日风格我倒是挺喜欢的，虽然红温的我现在只想化身竖锯和作者玩个小游戏）

谜语人的剧情
大致看的肯定不详细
大致讲的是，这个世界观有种名叫精灵但行为更接近恶魔主要作用是重启文明的一群乐子灵
每隔一段时间就会重启一次文明，然后在上一次大灾难时有一个倒霉孩子成为了天选之人
精灵的乐子就是喜欢愚弄人类，于是这个所谓的 ‘受到了精灵眷顾的孩子’
在大灾难前面临了一个残酷的选择，是选择献上自己最宝贵的妹妹拯救世界还是看世界走向末日
罗宾选择了前者，因为他有父母有亲朋，但他的妹妹因为父母村民都不待见
又被唯一的哥哥当做了祭品，内心产生了对罗宾的憎恨，这就是主角菲恩
几天后罗宾后悔了想找回妹妹独自一人找到了精灵女王，女王答应给他一次不可能成功的机会
说服菲恩跟罗宾回家，带着憎恨的菲恩是不可能答应的，所以罗宾被诅咒被变成了弹簧绳（雾）
文明重启，然后过了很多年精灵回来了，帕克为了复仇，挑唆了精灵女王的姐姐？（预言者）
背刺了女王，此时的人类已经又快到了下一个大灾难了，为了活下去开始研究精灵的力量
在预言者的帮助下利用科技与女巫的力量成功封印了女王还把他拆成了8份
但也只是拖延了精灵的侵蚀速度（侵蚀就是指苔藓，所以叫绣苔，腐蚀钢铁文明生锈的苔藓）
精灵的恶作剧包括偶尔给人类间混入一个伪人（替换掉一个人类幼崽）
主角菲恩就在不知道多少年后，又以调换儿的身份（前人类现精灵）被混入了为数不多的人类中
跟着相依为命的妹妹玛雅在人类可能是开发女巫的实验室中生活
后面的内容忘了，反正主角在人类世界过的也不太好跟人类时一样，然后遇到了失忆的罗宾（帕克）
不知道什么理由背叛了人类炸了实验室逃出来了，然后就在预言者的蛊惑下开始了收集8片女王碎片
企图终结人类时代的行动
结局A，碎片不足8，菲恩打败了企图利用碎片夺取女王力量的预言者自己成为了新的女王
没管人类死活，妹妹受不了菲恩去寻找被调换的自己的真正姐姐去了
结局B，碎片不足8，拿到了送给妹妹的礼物（一张主角的照片）
菲恩自己成为了女王，没管人类的死活，强行把妹妹玛雅变成了精灵，玛雅出走
结局C，碎片不足8，拿到了送给妹妹的礼物，也拿到了妹妹送给自己的礼物
菲恩自己成为了女王，这次终于肯听妹妹的愿望了，妹妹的愿望是人类存活下去
玛雅以自己为祭品换取了人类文明存续
结局D，集齐了8个碎片，菲恩打败了预言者但选择复活女王，罗宾破防了
菲恩想起了过去带着怨恨帮助女王打败了罗宾，女王奖励了一个愿望
菲恩的愿望是 '妹妹永远留在自己身边’ 玛雅被女王洗脑，人类勉强留了一丝火种
（你和罗宾你俩真是亲兄妹啊）
4个结局可以说全是BE，神了

操作与战斗
其实这游戏战斗可以说非常简单，但为什么坐牢呢
因为操作，你的跳跃战斗移动都要用到后坐力和弹簧绳
荡和弹是战斗与探索中不可或少的一环，越往后期地图里能落脚的平台越少
你就越需要荡来躲避敌人攻击，但这个游戏是有物理系统的，而且还挺诡异
所以这个战斗体验完全看你够不够手残，脑子能多快反应出这里应该怎么荡
手够不够准，能在没有任何类似子弹时间的减速下快速的钩到苔（没有苔的高台不能钩）
这个准是要精准到力度.长度.角度.都得刚好你才能荡上高台躲避子弹的
后期甚至刚需还要会进阶操作类似半条命的高斯跳（利用武器后坐力高跳）
其实单论怪物设计和战斗养成的数值，但凡高台和地面不那么恶心
这游戏的战斗强度给渎神啥的类银提鞋都费劲
（不过利用枪械物理超度精灵游戏居然有合理的解释，精灵只会在人类文明高度发达时出来
也就是有大量钢铁的时候，因为精灵讨厌钢铁，所以子弹都是铁做的反而有效
感觉莫名的合理，深层考虑这游戏还是个环保主题游戏？）

地图与关卡设计
最想骂娘的一集，前期体验舒服就舒服在不走回头路总有小路让你回去
难受就难受在，因为游戏的核心机制是弹簧绳，所以后期地图有各种机制妨碍你
从只往东边吹的风，到顺水就凉的激流，从无敌的追杀怪，到跌入3次就死的水
需要精准踩上去才能蹦的蹦床（游戏内一种金色的球），到无敌带自瞄的炮塔
所幸前期每逢平台跳跃基本都有存档点或者回血点，让我感叹没有这些真玩不下去
然后实验室这张图给我开了个大的，各种无敌怪/炮塔，来回打机关开门
但没有任何加血和存档，要求在一个几下死的游戏内一命通关，结局D的最终BOSS罗宾
甚至我都没真正打到，因为前面有场5连从下往上跑打固定靶的BOSS连战
要在各种场景下在罗宾的干扰中一命打完，反正谁爱打谁打把我不奉陪了
尤其是都是BE结局的情况下
（建议不要买DLC，听说玩通关的人都怀疑自己是M）

I don’t play a ton of metroidvanias these days, but the grappling hook mechanic in this one seemed interesting and I dug the muted visuals so I gave it a try. Turns out it’s quite good, though expect frustration early on as you get a feel for how the grapple works. Once it clicks and you unlock some of the other mobility options however, the game will really open up.

As far as challenge level goes I found it high but satisfying - you’ve got both platforming sections that test your grappling proficiency and enemy encounters that can be quite difficult (particularly the bosses), but manageable once you’ve learned the patterns. As the game progresses the combat and traversal challenges also intertwine more, though I never found that that became too overwhelming. And as is typical of the genre, the difficulty is somewhat diegetic anyway - if you hit a wall you can always go hunting for some of the many upgrades and other curiosities there are to find.

Since I played there was a pretty huge content update which I still need to check out; I would have said the game was a solid value prior to that, but with the devs estimating 7-8 more hours of playtime it’s even more so now. If you’re after a challenging metroidvania with a high skill ceiling and moody atmosphere then this a great option.

When I started, I thought the grapple was a bit weird and unintuitive. After playing, I can confidently say, it's a skill issue. This game has really satisfying platforming, making exploration very enjoyable. The combat can be pretty challenging, but it's never so difficult that it seems unfair. This is a very well-balanced and highly enjoyable metroid-vania.

第五十七款通关的类银，本体难度很高（不开辅助的情况下）dlc更是超绝折磨，正如游戏告示牌所说乐在其中的都是m，不喜欢跳跳乐的完全不推荐，即使是喜欢跳跳乐的也得适应一会这个橡皮筋钩索。

地图设计不错，正常走不会迷路，喜欢破序的也有的玩，开放度和玩家技术强相关，有许多里技。探索元素放置也刚好，存档点不少。

然后就是恶意极大的难度曲线，就我个人流程而言，打完俩boss从烟囱森林下来以后直接进湖泊，见面一个压迫感拉满，不仅打不死还追着放全屏aoe的球疯狗一样咬来，路上还有勾人怪拖步伐，而且这图就开始遍地遭遇战了，然后进灵液精炼所一堆灵液环境加遭遇战难度比湖泊又上一个档次，后期实验室还来个死咬不放一喷半血的，不擅长绳索真能给我打急眼。还有，一大堆跳跳乐塞小怪先不说，为什么还塞一大堆打不到的当干扰项，要是伤害低还好说，问题是这些怪范围又大，频率又高，伤害还不低！

整体来说，钩索和枪械配合还是很好玩的，减分原因是有个大问题——主角人设，虽然也不是不能理解形成这个人格的原因，但还是非常不讨喜，说的简直不像人话，妥妥反社会人格。

最终还是投降开了辅助模式，本以为打完《aeterna noctis》在类银跳跳乐领域已然天下无敌，没想到天上来敌，这个目前应该是玩过最难的跳跳乐类银。强者可以试试不开辅助打完最终的大攀登，还有给强者的惊喜呢。

Rusted Moss is a slick platformer metroidvania with a grapple hook and a rocket launcher. It was already in my cart before I could finish reading that premise. The movement in this game is slick. It takes a while to get used to, but once you do, it's so smooth. 10/10 on the platforming. Please sign my petition to have a "Grapple Hook" tag added to Steam.

As for the other part. That "metroidvania part". I'm not so sure about that. I get the vibe that I got the hang of the platforming a bit faster than the devs intended on a first playthrough, and I ended up sequence breaking chunks of the game. I think I beat the (intended) penultimate boss fight as the fourth boss in my playthrough and had no clue I wasn't supposed to be there. It lead to dissonance in the storytelling, and created some friction where some areas were locked off because I just needed to button (why can I completely sequence break some areas of the game, but I can't go between these two interconnected rooms because of a door?). Basically, the pace of progression felt capricious, and I doubt most people would encounter this issue or even notice. This is all just an observation. The one knock I have against the metroidvania aspect of this game is no minimap. I felt like I was having to hit Tab to open the map way too often.

The bonus levels are where this game really shines. Once you get the hang of the movement, it really pushes the platforming of this game AND the gunplay to its limits. There were some really challenging and interesting fights at the end, and once you learn how to navigate them, it feels slick to navigate chaotic arenas while pumping out damage and glide past projectiles. Don't get it twisted - beating all of the bonus content is NOT for the faint of heart (and the game says as much). I was really satisfied when I did, though (except for this one section that felt like Getting Over It with Bennet Foddy, that section had my partner concerned for my wellbeing).

Sometimes the music is amazing, whether that be because it's serene or helps drive an intense battle. Other times, its pitifully forgettable. I can't say the inconsistency is too bad; after all, I loved some of the areas in this game just for the music.

The story is...ok. It carries you through the gameplay, which is enough, I guess. It's the weakest part of the game for me.

I'd say you'd be able to roll credits in ~7-10 hours, and most people would be able to accomplish this. ALL the content, including the bonus content, took me 17 hours. Only the most dedicated and truly deranged will get to the mountaintop (it's me. I'm deranged). If you're the kind of person who had to get the moon berry in Chapter 9 of Celeste, and you wish you could experience something like that again, Rusted Moss is what you're looking for.

两个明显变奏点，1小时左右流程拿到草地蓄力跳和4小时左右流程拿到后坐力火箭筒，两者均可极大提高地图探索的垂直度。比较可惜的是火箭筒的后坐力只能在障碍物上反弹一次，杜绝了合适角度下连续反弹左脚踩右脚升天的偷鸡可能。

地图的流程设计比较优秀，开放度合理，回头路极少，传送点位的设置不错，为后续的全收集减少了很多负担，但是地图大跨度垂直通道的设计与《动物井》相比仍有差距（这里不得不再次由衷感叹后者地图的完美）。

重点：
进游戏之前就把大写输入法锁死，因为这个游戏会因为输入法弹出导致在分辨率不变的情况下窗口极小化，这种情况下完全无法游玩或存档。

几个关键：
（1）火箭筒大跳可以在攀墙时使用。
（2）火箭筒可以在绳索射出时通过不断射击钩点实现一定力度的反弹（当然这个tip在拿到收缩绳索的主动技能之后就没什么用了）。
（3）火箭筒大跳可以和草地蓄力大跳同时使用实现超级大跳。

当然这个游戏的弹性绳索和后坐力跳在实际体验中没有想象中的那么完美，所以需要一定数量的试错。

Insane difficulty. Similar to Ulrakill it has an "Assist Mode" that is essentially legal cheats if you struggle too much, but unlike Ultrakill it genuily feels like you must use this mode in order to get through the game. No, I don't to have to reduce damage by 50% through cheats on the third zone because the boss just fills the screen with lingering bullets.

Great game! Highly recommend. Has some difficulty curve spikes but the movement is fun and bosses are well done and worth getting good at. Only complaint I have really if the devs are listening is the main character's idle animation has slightly annoying sounds attached to it. Fine at beginning, but by the end I really wanted an option to turn it off haha.

虽然我是被宣传片的画风骗了，实际正式玩游戏才发现锈苔是一款像素风类恶魔银河城游戏，难度偏于硬核派的双摇杆射击式战斗探索类ACT，既有蔚蓝玩家绕不开的跳跳乐（A面难度，可作弊），也有恶魔城玩家喜欢的探索收集环节，并且游戏本体拿出来仅需要500mb，就足够玩一下午。

真正体验下来，这游戏简直是类银河恶魔城的细羹，普通模式下复杂的操作和丰富的地图探索系统震撼级别的美味，而画面虽然是像素风格但一点也不廉价，数千美景不尽收，一路战一路爽，诸如灵液研究所，实验室，工厂，高山等场景非常美丽。

画面是游戏的外表，光有好看的皮囊还不至于让我动笔（看向库里一抹多的Galgame），拿出ACT游戏的真本事出来，好玩那才是真本事，而《锈苔》的机制和战斗设计确实是独一流的，仿佛过上了《并非山洞》与《蜘蛛侠》的牵丝游荡的空战享受，区别是右手上天，左手还能开枪。

仅凭游戏的折寿跳跳乐和弹力绳的莫名重力机制，就可以把我斩于马下，但是把一个难游改造成爽游之后，剩下的却依旧很美丽。本作的场景很漂亮，花海绿洲灰砖白坟黄瓦，逐渐腐蚀的科技与光与影的魔法，奇幻的民间传说与欧美风的人物设计，在《Rusted Moss》中融入了灿烂的色彩，每一份珍贵的文字设置在碎片化的收集里，逐渐展开这个精灵和人类共存的世界的真相，同时真精灵女主身上的伪人特质与实验体的真人格特性也随着剧情的发展和人物对话逐渐深入——

就不在此过多剧透了，游戏的彩蛋与剧情都很丰富，像制作组的房间，精灵蝾螈的“爱你哟”，每名女巫背后的故事，都非常动人~值得一品。

Pretty good, but varying difficulty and very non-linear. Some bosses were trivial then you end up with a crazy difficult boss that took a lot of attempts to beat. Realized later that I ran into some semi-optional endgame bosses. The "The great climb" DLC was also really difficult, spent more than half of the total play time there, and I didn't even try hard mode. But after finally beating that that the remaining areas felt trivial in comparison.

Oh wow! What an incredible experience!
First of all, every game is better with a grappling hook, and sometimes, all you need to be fun, is a grappling hook.
Demonstrated by this MASTERPIECE perfectly, the grappling hook is absolutely THE biggest selling point.
While there are combat arenas and the game is definitely a platforming focused metroidvania through and through
It all revolves around the grappling hook and all the different functionality and how it can be integrated into
LITERALLY every scenario, in many creative and novel ways.
It is a simple change from the usual grappling hooks, in the way that it has a little "give", that it is elastic, but
It changes everything. The fact that you need to use it in such creative ways to gain momentum, to manipulate
Your movement both midair, while launching, even during grappling to swing, and all these can be used in combat...

No other game hooked me quite as effectively from a single ability as this one.
Absolutely love it.

Moving on the focus, the combat is fairly challenging, while not being too easy or too hard, I feel it has an excellent
Balance of difficulty. All the bosses felt reasonably varied, while sharing certain mechanics to never feel too cluttered
Or impossible to overcome, but never being too easy. Many of them felt close to "puzzles" in the way you have to
Navigate around the arenas the dodge attacks and get better angles for attack.

Most of the battle arenas were also surprisingly fun, as they kept being unexpectedly varied, both in the set-up
Of the arena, and the enemies chosen. Admittedly, they were rarely difficult, but they were a good change of pace.

The visual style is beautiful. Simply put, it is just wonderful, having layers and layers of details, while creating
Distinct new environments, but still keeping coherency of design to make the world feel absolutely wonderfully
Interconnected and part of one whole, holistic world. The magical features intersecting and intertwining with the
Mechanical, to create a world unique, magical and mysterious, while still having similiar elements of reality and
Industrialization that make it easy to connect and understand.
Each environment felt unique and had interesting gimmicks to them, some more than others, but each unique
At least visually.

From the audio side, starting from small stuff, the usual bleep bloop sound effects for conversation were actually
Rather nice. It is sometimes challenging to make random noises sound both speech like and not irritating,
Which I feel the game succeeds in very well.
From soundeffect standpoint, returing to the grappling hook, it really conveys the elasticity perfectly,
sounding very springy. Shooting sounds nice, but the really fun thing is the "reward" sound effects.
Opening chests gives a lovely spike of dopamine and the currency has an excellent collection and creation sound.

Lastly, but not the least, I want to talk about the story and character a bit, without spoilers.
I personally found both the characters and the story to be very intriguing. Many of the characters, while having
Little screen time and limited dialogue, display their personality very well considering the limitations.
The actual story felt fun and while the inspirations, or at least what I personally connect it to, are very evident,
I feel it merely enhances the story with the parallels. I am raring to explore more of the world.

Minor sidenote, while I did not take a look at the difficulty options or accessability options, I think their existence
Makes the game more approachable to everyone. Huge props for that.

All in all, if you don't abhor platformers, I whole-heartedly recommend checking the game out.
One of the best, platforming focused metroidvanias out there, with a unique gimmick that the game revolves around.

Though frustrating at times Rusted Moss is a really good metroidvania in terms of platforming, fights, bosses and general gamefeel. Story ends up also being more interesting than I initially expected which led to me misunderstanding it half of the time :\

If you have already beaten the game and are uncertain on doing the great climb, I encourage you to do it. It doesn't give you any rewards, per se, and it is the game at its frustrating-est some of the time, but it also gives some of the best art, story, my favorite character and generally deeper appreciation of the platforming tools upon beating

前面痛苦一下就好
拿到火箭筒後人生大不同大跳等等靠火箭筒有火箭筒前我罵別人媽有火箭筒後我感覺我是有媽的孩子
拿到大口徑子彈提高後座力(拿霰彈槍)人生大不同從沒朋友的孩子變成有朋友的孩子
(真的過不了可開可調但我不建議這樣就失去這遊戲的味道建議先過關後想要解成就再開 PS競速模式無法開啟)
強烈希望開個困難模式最好BOSS都是強化版BOSS RUSH那種然後再HP300% [strike]把我制裁一下[/strike]

Still trying to complete the latest trials and challenges, but so far i love it. The movement system and physics are top notch.

Base game is very good with some difficult spikes here and there, but the optional content is some Celeste levels of insanity, dificulty and great design. One of those games in which you have no idea how deep the gameplay goes until you need to use every single tool to complete everything.

Im genuinelly scared of what the devs gonna do with their next game, please have mercy.

游戏前半段的氛围很不错但每个场景都有不同的滤镜这个滤镜作用于游戏的整个画面甚至会影响地图 ui 菜单导致实验室满屏血红色给我眼睛看瞎了要
类银的体验就是垃圾没他妈几个传送点唯有的传送门用起来还相当恶心同时还没有地图标点角色成长做的也很浅薄还有这个货币打完一个boss巴不得掉出地图一大半
剧情也是经典类银剧情拆成几百块碎片东拼西凑感觉这游戏讲了个不错的故事但我没看太明白
如果steam的评论系统有更多选项的话我不会推荐这款游戏

the game has its flaws, but if metroidvania / explorin is your thing and you like the slingshotting mechanic, you will like most of it.

There are times where the game locks you into a particular area, because getting to that area is difficult (getting there again is something you'd rather not do) while at the same time fast travel is nowhere near. Which is unfortunate, when you'd e.g. like a change of scenery, you can't (well you can quit the game, and try again later)

全エンディング確認済み。DLCは２ステージまでクリア。
本編プレイ中は「気骨のある良ゲー」という感じで、楽しくクリアまで遊べたので、いちおうオススメとしておく。

ただトゥルーエンド最終盤のステージやDLCの高難易度ともなると気持ちがササクレ立つほど鬼難しい場面もあるので、クリアを目指す方は注意されたい。
その難易度たるや[spoiler]sekiroのラスボスや、ホロウナイトの真エンドボス[/spoiler]よりも確実につらかった。
それに最後の戦いだけはつらいだけで楽しくなかった。

ここから先は独り言だけど。
本ゲームはゲーム開始後でもオプションからカジュアルモードを選択することで、空中浮遊や無敵モードになれる。加えて、カジュアルモードでクリアしても実績が解除されるのを確認した。
ゲームは「面白い」ではなく「楽しい」かどうかが大事だと思うので、こういった選択肢で、一旦クリアしたことにするという逃げ道もアリだと思う。

Rusted Moss pretty much combines the best parts of metroidvanias with the best parts of platformers. The absolute crown jewel of the game is the exploration: swinging around rooms is fun as hell and so satisfying when in the middle of combat. Oh and guess what: the game pretty much allows you to go wherever you want pretty early, which is such a good departure from traditional metroidvania progression in my opinion.
Additionally, the game has beautiful spritework and gorgeous music, and I thought the story was nice too. The only thing I will say is it does take a bit to really get used to how the grapple works, but once you do it feels lovely to use.

Haven't beat it yet, i played 11 hours in one sitting.
It's very fun and satisfying. the music is charming and the worldbuilding is very nice to experience.
you should pick up this game, its absolutely worth it! some of the bosses are pretty challenging, but i think its very doable.
the guns feel fun to use too, i really like how they're limited in range forcing you to get closer for more engaging fights
postgame: I beat it, max weapon upgrades are kinda busted but its fun. final fight sequence was fun too! i'll do the extra areas at some point but they seemed like fun platforming challenges!
bonus areas: difficulty gets cranked up, so if you want a challenge, you get a challenge! needs a lot more technique with shotgun/rocket jumping.

RTA見て簡単じゃん　と思って買ったけどキャラをキーボード　攻撃（エイム）はマウス慣れるまで時間がかかったがたのしい
難易度もちょうどよくあとちょっとで勝てそうだったからもう一回行ってみようが止まらない
ボスを倒した時の脳汁やばい

I have only played for a short while but it only took a few seconds to notice how good the movement feels.

The controls and movement are buttery smooth and feel instantly familiar. You move slow enough to easily control but with enough weight and responsiveness that you feel like you're getting somewhere. The rooms always have something to do so it doesn't drag.

The combat just works, the guns are weighty and easy to use, and the first boss I fought gave me enough of a challenge to make me learn the mechanics without being too frustrating.

Also the setting & lore are intriguing, I love a good fae-magic-meets-tech type of fantasy, and the writing is pretty good. I'm looking forward to learning what is actually going on. Also I love how the save shrines grow wings when you use them, it's a gorgeous little touch. You can tell this was made with care.

剧情云里雾里，前期打枪还蛮不错的，有吸引到我，我以为是枪械战斗为主，弹簧绳为辅的游戏设计，虽然弹簧绳设计想法不错，但是战斗方面弹簧躲boss技能可控性太差，枪械方面除了一开始的步枪也没啥好用的枪，然后从一直吹风那张图开始，跳跳乐就变得恶心起来了，到了精灵圣所就更恶心了，容错太小，我不知道这两图为啥难度差距能这么大，那个需要开灯打的boss，打的我太痛苦了，尤其是打了半天，然后的得到了一个射程短，伤害一般的散弹枪，我真的感觉吃了屎一样难受，关于游戏部分我只能打到这里了，实在吃不下了/(ㄒoㄒ)/。最后这是一个非常新颖的有物理引擎的弹簧绳跳跳乐游戏，喜欢跳跳乐的外加一些战斗的玩家可以考虑。

I don't know if my review is worth reading for those who love metroidvanias, but here it is anyway.
TLDR:
-Interesting aesthetics (really liking it)
-A wealth of movement options.
-No tediousness
-Interesting optional challenges.
-A plot that fits the aesthetics and the genre.
-Not as many interesting fights in the base version of the game as I would have liked.
(I haven't tried the additional content with extra bosses yet)
-Due to the huge number of ways to move around, sometimes the meaning of specific tools is lost, but that's probably a minor issue.

If you enjoy more focused Metroidvanias with grappling hook mechanics, platforming, and physics, then you should give this one a try.

I liked the game, although I haven't finished it yet. (I stopped at the last location)
The hook physics are easily understandable and well implemented, and the controls and level design are enjoyable. But keep in mind that this game is more about movement than combat. While there are fights that utilize the hook and your other abilities, the game’s focus isn’t on that. I thought this might be a problem, but surprisingly, it wasn’t.

Currently, the game offers a lot of content, including an additional character, extra levels, and challenges. But even the basic version of the game has plenty of content.
The pixels are quite large, but it didn't really bother me.
I'm not one of those people who enjoys getting lost in Metroidvania games, and I thought that if I got stuck somewhere because of something unrelated to the challenge and not because I didn't understand where to go, I would immediately turn off the game, but this only happened once and wasn't even a big deal.

The game offers plenty of opportunities for absolutely crazy movement, including grappling hooks, mega-jumps, and the use of bunny hopping. However, all of this is done at a fairly forgiving level, and the difficulty was just right for me. There are individual challenges that don't interfere with the storyline, but are very interesting and essentially test your understanding of the game; they were fun to complete.
The game has almost no stupid moments, like having to run to a certain place for 10 minutes after losing. The challenge lies in the intensity of a fight, not in tediousness. The game almost never forces you to waste time on unnecessary and irrelevant nonsense.

畫面差我不介意,內容貧乏我不介意,劇情淺碟我不介意,頂多玩一玩睡著.
但是但是但是,你一款設計極端需要鉤索彈跳的遊戲但是鉤索判定超他媽爛,站在地面拋出去大約可達半螢幕距離,但是跳起來勾不勾得到是運氣,畫面貼圖可以使用鉤索的地方,但是勾上去成不成功是機緣,鉤索繩子部分看似可長可短,但是無法縮放僅看勾中的時候是多長.
結論建議別買,根本是遊戲設計上存在問題而不只是瑕疵的產品,雖然會試著打通關,但目前遊戲時長有一半都是浪費在那謎一般的鉤索判定,天知道愈往後期需要鉤索的部分會不會更多.
差點忘了那個洨液關卡,毒條累積半秒受傷送回家,但是毒條消退要五秒,純粹噁心人的設計.

Fun platforming, funny dialogue, good atmosphere.
Difficult but managable gameplay (the hardest parts are optional).
If you dont hate wind yet, this game just might make you hate it.

There are only 2 issues the game has (both subjective).
One that that causes an imperfection in what the game already is, that being the game starting to be a bit repetitive near the end (though it mostly concerns optional areas).
The other issue stops the game from reaching it's maximum potential and it will be clear in a moment.
What makes a peak game is not what you experience when you play it but what lingers after you finish it, be it memorable story, characters (with good character development) or great music. They not only have to exist but also be intertwined with each other.
The only thing i will remember about Rusted Moss will be the main menu theme but on it's own it too will be forgotten. The game was fun when it lasted but now it's a closed book.

Just fine. Grappling hook is fun, and the setting is fresh, but everything else didn't wow me. I ended up finishing the game by accident, not knowing that I had been fighting the final boss. It felt like I had reached the midpoint of the game, instead of the end.

I played Rusted Moss and I found it very interesting. The game has a beautiful pixel art style and a dark fantasy atmosphere. The movement is unique because it uses a grappling hook, which makes the gameplay fun and challenging. Some parts were difficult, but they made me want to improve. The story feels mysterious and emotional. Overall, Rusted Moss is a good game and I would recommend it to players who like action and exploration games.

Cave story? Momodora? Rain World? Check. The DNA is there so if you love any of these, give this a try. The pixels are pretty and the girls are mean.

I was initially afraid there would be too many hurdles with precise bungee mechanics. That was not the case, at least for the base game main paths. Mostly thanks to the rocket launcher. Some of the 100% content is still very difficult but manageable. The content for speedrunners is crazy.

Overall, this is really awesome game for a very specific player.

The update content (DLC) deserves a separate mention. Massive shift in design and not for the easily annoyed. Enemies, levels and platforming are much more complex. Each room a skill check and a wall to bash against.

优点：还算不错的探索体验和故事背景，成长方面也做得不错
缺点：沟槽的橡皮筋钩锁，由于核心跳跃机制的橡皮筋钩锁的两个核心痛点没有解决，整个游戏的战斗和跳跃部分非常糟糕。1.因为战斗需要使用钩锁来躲避弹幕和boss，但是钩锁的回弹机制，导致部分战斗的操作非常极限，本来能躲得弹幕由于回弹机制非常的极限。2.部分精准平台跳跃的时候需要用到钩锁，但是钩锁的判定很多时候非常看运气而不是操作，回弹的角度好，就能一次过，回弹的角度差点，就需要反复不断的尝试，直到碰到角度好的时候，然后由于这种情况，导致很多情况下无法确定是跳跃不够准还是单纯的运气不好。无法通过训练来提高跳跃成功率，导致跳跃过程非常令人沮丧。而作为一款类银河恶魔城游戏，核心的战斗和跳跃都被钩锁毁掉的情况下，整体体验自然无法令人满意。

Rusted Moss is a metroidvania with some interesting ups and downs. You may look at it and think "Umihara Kawase with guns", but it only kind of is since your grappling hook is more limited than what your initial impressions may tell you though it's still as fun to play with as you'd hope.

How much enjoyment you get out of this game runs almost parallel to how well you adjust to the way the grappling hook feels. You should definitely practice at least a little bit. I was mostly used to it but nowhere near close to being at an expert at it which wasn't really ideal and inevitably lead to things being more difficult than it needed to be at times. Trying to be precise with it during boss fights being a notable example.

Everything else is admirable with the pixel art being a stand out for me. The guns at your disposal are satisfying to use and they don't have much overlap so I was switching them around regularly. The story has a bit too much "tell don't show" for my liking but there's still a fair amount of lore and world-building so it's not really a problem. I like that the protagonist is dour and moody; nice change of pace from the usual kinds of protags you typically see in these sorts of games.

All in all, A pretty cool game to try out if you're willing to take the time to get used to it.

I beat this with 2 endings and definitely not 100% around 8 hours, maybe a little less.

In that time I got to enjoy grapple hooking, rocket jumping and shotgun momentum launching myself through all kinds of hazards and fighting a decent variety of enemies. Bosses all take ample advantage of your new movement abilities as you learn them and are fun to fight.

The grapple hook itself is imperfect because it is physics based and based around where you hook and etc. This isn't a bad thing though, it's a good thing. It keeps you on your toes when it messes up and stops you from falling into the motions as you move around and play the game.

It's a really tight metroidvania experience, my hours might even be lower than 8 because I left it on for a while. There is new bonus content that adds something like 7 hours according to the devs and I'd believe it, maybe its like 4-5 if you're really familiar with it. Regardless of that bonus content playing the base game is very worth it for the price.

It's rare to see metroidvanias try something new, like in rusted moss's case, it's movement abilities. Gun combat is also a nice change of pace for the genre. I'm a big fan of this game and would tell you to grab it as soon as you can.

先吐槽一下，普通模式下开了可调后，存档界面就一直显示可调了，大攀登到山顶也不能刻名字，就中途开了开可调飞着玩了下，一点都没影响进度的情况下开的，一路大攀登上去本来说刻个名字还挺有意义，这个样子让我有点怀疑我认真打的全部关卡了。说会游戏本身。
1.在玩法方面，整体毛病很多，类银元素基本没有，全游戏到底新能力就两个吧？饰品很多感觉都有点凑数，对hp和mp有影响的饰品几乎没有，主角血量也挺少的，容错率一直都感觉蛮低的，然后就是平台跳跃比重非常大，本体就已经60%都是平台跳跃了，dlc更是90%的平台跳跃，而且十分硬核，个人感觉比蔚蓝第九章还难，存档点给的也不多，就导致可能大半天一个失误就全部重来，挫败感较强，红了好几次了。还有一点，非常重要的“火箭跳”技巧全游戏一点教程没有，甚至霰弹枪的后坐力相关内容教学还要到大攀登dlc里面才会教，那时候大伙都会了过来教，我玩的时候也是看笑了，明明火箭跳手感调整的这么好全游戏没一点教程，感觉永和不用是两个游戏了都，害
2.在关卡设计方面，感觉到处充斥的制作组的恶意...比如本体实验室，打完boss之后来个莫名其妙的白色玩意，除了影响你进行收集漏的东西恶心你外什么用都没有...刚开始追一追还好，能不能给我个途径把这玩意弄死？本体很多跑酷关卡硬给你塞几个狙击怪或其他啥的，纯粹用干扰项加大难度，真恶心吧，这个方法加大难度有一点设计在吗？大攀登那里也是，都dlc了还一点长进都没有，既然都决定好好做平台跳跃的内容能不能在关卡的设计上多费心，而不是一味地塞怪来加大难度啊？打大攀登的时候人都无语了，特别最后一层，到了门口给你门关了告诉你打完房间里的怪再走吧~我就tm几滴血了想着赶紧跑整这一出
？无限血的妖精一直干扰，我也是玩个勾八。关卡设计可以看得出来一堆制作组的小巧思，但全是依托构思。
3.剧情，讲了个勾八，开局就是一头雾水，没开场动画，没前倾提要，世界观都不知道是啥，做出来更是不知道在写啥，作为喜欢看剧情的人都感觉云里雾里，就没想着把这个故事写好，只是找个理由开始罢了
总体来说，如果你是平台游戏爱好者并且水平较高，可以试一试，其他的一律不推荐，个人点推荐的理由也是自己比较喜欢平台跳跃类游戏，习惯了机制体验还算不错，游戏也一直在持续更新，对自己游戏确实挺上心的，不过既然都这么上心了能不能把这个b教程改一改啊c

El juego es muy bueno, lamentablemente no es para cualquier persona porque de facil no tiene nada, sobre todo el post game.

Algo que destaca mucho es su mecanica singular del gancho, una forma muy creativa en mi opinion de inovar un metroidvania, aun que debo decir que para dominar esa mecanica y hago enfasis de nuevo en el postgame, tienes que ser un erudito con doctorado en la trigonometria y la fisica, porque madre de dios... que celeste, ni silksong, este juego de verdad te lleva al limite en cuantos a tus reflejos.

El juego es relativamente corto si sigues la campaña normal, te lo puedes pasar en 1-2 h sabiendo a donde ir y que hacer, el postgame es para los masoquistas que quieren un buen reto.

La historia fue algo confusa para mi, no se si me perdi de otro juego, algun manga etc. Se me hizo muy vaga en mi opinion. Muy buenos graficos y buena banda sonora.

No es mi tipo de juego o lo que esperaba pero no esta mal la verdad en general, sin duda deberian de darle una oportunidad y verlo por ustedes mismos.

Rusted Moss is awesome! Engaging worldbuilding without being overbearing, decent combat while maintaining a focus on movement, and an intricate grapple mechanic. I can see complaints about the difficulty of the platforming, mainly how finnicky it can be, but I didn't find it too bad. I'm tempted to get more endings and explore the DLC content. Really enjoyed it, thanks devs!

It's nice, though you only really get a handful of actual upgrades that can lock you out of stuff, so exploration is very open ended and lets you roam freely pretty early on.
Combat is ok, some bosses are great, but where the game really shines is the movement (which the devs seem aware of since the dlc areas lean more heavily on it). If you enjoy stuff like kaizo, celeste or precision platformers in general there's some great stuff there.

核心吊绳与其他元素的配合着实产生了许多有趣的跳跃。配合富有氛围感的像素美术与音乐，逐格收集的过程也是轻松愉悦的（除了DLC。探索途中发掘的碎片化剧情很好地增加了趣味与氛围，场景中的人类与精灵也增添了奇幻色彩。值得一提的是游戏对前期吊绳使用的引导很棒，很快就能上手，但本体中一些关键的跳法毫无涉猎，需自行探索。
BTW，在实验室打BOSS拿碎块前，一定先收集实验室的物品（。

Sinceramente? Esse jogo é muito, muito bom. A gameplay dele é gostosa de jogar, o parkour é desafiante mas não é tão irritante, os bosses desse jogo são muito legais de jogar contra e o sistema da corda é simplesmente perfeito.
Eu recomendo demais que você compre esse jogo, na promo ou não, mas tente dar uma chance para esse jogo. Ele é curtinho e legal para se jogar e ele consegue fazer você querer jogar mais vezes depois da primeira.
Pra mim, Rusted Moss, é um 10/10 e espero que para você tambem.

I want to like this game, but unfortunately I feel it is, once again, held back by incorporating genre tropes rather than being confident in what it wants to convey. Rusted Moss is a platformer where the mechanic of a grappling hook takes the center stage. I think what it does works even though I agree with some other reviews that the grappling hook is not fully utilized due to the way it operates; the player gets one use of it before needing to ground themselves again. This limits the amount of platforming puzzles the game can run with by more than feels necessary.

My main issue is that it's another metroidvania: you have a labyrinthine overworld with several blocked paths needing some opaque missing item to proceed. The game however does implement teleporters and a map, even though the latter seems to occasionally lie to the player about connected tiles. It just doesn't add anything for me to the game. We have seen these tropes in thousands of indie games now and barely any of them play with the concept beyond using it as "justified padding" because it has been done before.

I also feel that the combat is very rudimentary in implementation. The game puts the grappling hook at the center but the combat itself doesn't play with this mechanic at all. Boss fights do occasionally, but I was underwhelmed by their creativity as well.

I would say Rusted Moss is an okay title. It is well-made and has some cool ideas. Unfortunately it ultimately buries the premise by subscribing to bland and safe genre tropes.

おススメですが人を選ぶストーリーと難易度です。
裏切りから始まるストーリーなので正義感が強い人にはそれだけで苦痛かも。

アクションはシビアで、特にグラップリングは慣れるまでメチャクチャ難しい。
特に真ラスボスはグラップリングむずすぎて1時間程トライし、やっと倒せました。
終盤になるにつれ武器の威力不足が顕著になり、体力も最大値がそんなに増えないのでジリ貧みたいになります。防御力強化とか、大幅なHPアップとか、そういうものがあればよかったのですが、あいにくあまり無い。
結果的に２、3回攻撃されたら死ぬ状態で次のセーブポイントまでしのぎ切るみたいなプレイになる。

全体的なデザインは良いが、マゾゲーの域。悪魔城をクリアするくらいの気概が必要。
おまけモードで剣で戦うキャラクターが解放されます。体力少なく、動きもピーキーですが、スピード感があってこっちの方が楽しい？かも笑

Truly a gem. I'm loving the combination of hard platforming and classic metroidvania gameplay.
The complaints about the controls are heavy exaggerations, even playing on controller I'm not having notable issues on bossfights per example. The hook is fun to use specially in combination of the rocket launcher and there are a few movement tricks to learn. The story and dialogues are good too, honestly, I don't really have any negatives to say about this game. Really recommend.

Неймовірна піксельна метроїдванія, залетіла в топ моїх улюблених ігор. Неймовірно красивий піксель арт, величезне різноманіття локацій (як візуально, так і геймплейно), цікаві та не душні боси, веселий та варіативний платформінг - вся гра побудована навколо місцевого крюка-кішки, і його можливості розкриті на повну. 5 штук різних кінцівок і тонни контенту, зачасту опціонального, навіть без експлорінга (хоча нахіба грати в метроїдванію і не досліджувати світ) можна пройти гру без особливих проблем. Саундтрек також неймовірний - коли меланхолійний, коли напружений, коли зачаровуючий - він абсолютно точно потрапляє у настрій гри та погружає гравця у потрібну атмосферу. Більше того, з безкоштовними оновленнями завезли додаткових персонажів з абсолютно іншим геймплеєм, за яких можна пройти гру, і нові локації, так би мовити місцеві думівські майстер-рівні, де вже потрібно вміти грати більш комплексно: вміти брати розгон, використовувати рокет-джампи, віддачу від дробовика у повітрі etc. Все це розробники могли більш ніж виправдано продавати, а не давати задарма. Особисто я останній раз саме так кайфував від нової гри, коли вперше пограв у Broforce, а це чогось та й вартує. Тож гра точно посіла своє місце у мене в геймерському сердечку. Єдиний мінус, що можна знайти - немає української, але розробник додав інструментарій для додавання кастомних локалізацій у гру, тож це лише питання часу
