A bit of puzzle a bit of shmuzzle. Roll character in diagonal directions, use ramps to jump above obstacles, push boxes and smack enemies. Game have some originality. Overall not bad if you like puzzles with quirky characters. 6/10.

I liked this game but that does't mean I will ignore some major issues,
This is a mobile port and a lazy one, well we have a bunch of them on Steam so this is not a big surprise. Zero PC options in this one and this game could benefit from adding some accessibility options I tell ya. They didn't even remove the -touch the screen- prompt when you die.
I played many games like this one, you can move in 4 directions until you hit the barrier (some of them were mobile ports BTW) ,this one is the first I played that uses this camera and in my opinion this perspective is not soothed for these type of games. The second thing is that the game has very low contrast in most areas, for example the shades of green and brown are so similar....uf, I write about this all the time, developers should look at a color value scale before making a game, this is all sorts of wrong in that regard. If you are visually impaired I would stay away from this one.
So I liked this game thing I wrote at the beginning.... doesn't look like it ?
I liked it, it is fun and that is it, you go around and collect things and solve some puzzles. I liked how they implemented new features so the game never felt boring. I 139 % ed the game so I am one player of 4.4 % that finished this game, ok I went beyond that :)
I can recommend this game despite some major issues. I would wait for a deep sale if I were you, simply not worth the asking price.

Sliding puzzle game with open world, simple combat and a lot of nuts (and nut puns) to collect. I am actually surprised by how good this mobile port is, it is playable with gamepad very well!

流程不算太长，正篇3个多小时，之后收集剩下的golden nuts又花了2小时，最后进度117%。
mad king mac打了两次，第二次越狱了，并且难打很多，最后靠离开战场回血慢慢才磨死它。
玩法其实很简单，不过设计的关卡不错，而且后面有一些机关搭配挺有意思的，不过前期有些地方有机关过不去，但是等学会技能又忘了在哪儿，要全收集还是挺麻烦的。
唯一不爽的就是刚开始上下左右有点搞不明白，操作和视图感觉不是特别匹配。

Se hace sobre un presupuesto bajito que se traduce principalmente en escasez de contenido gráfico sin embargo su desarrollo requiere de buen estudio y en este aspecto el juego luce casi de sobresaliente porque lo que más prima en el juego es que nunca te vas a ver en una situación confusa o comprometida porque siempre hay una salida eficaz para lograr avanzar, lo único que tienes que hacer es avanzar y seguir probando. Por esta parte el juego resulta entretenido y directo más que dificultoso o pesado. Por la parte del diseño de niveles, desafíos y puzzles hablamos sobre en base a lo dicho anteriormente: busca sobre todo el entretenimiento por lo que su diseño y desafíos se plantearán de forma homogénea aunque equilibrada por ir incorporando cada vez más elementos, monstruos e incluso habilidades.

Es un juego interesante por su mecánica jugable y por su trayecto no lineal en el que tenemos bastante libertad para ir donde queramos aunque las tres habilidades que adquirimos forman el mayor impedimento para esto, estructurando a grandes rasgos el desarrollo. El trayecto no lineal está empaquetado por pequeñas zonas de juego conectadas unas a otras por la adyacencia que permiten tener una iniciativa en el factor de la decisión. La mecánica jugable está comprendida sobre el movimiento en línea recta hasta chocar con algo por lo que para lograr movernos a un lugar concreto deberemos de trazar un recorrido bastante compuesto que resulta en una buena construcción mental. Cansa un poquito, principalmente porque más o menos hacemos siempre lo mismo, pero resulta muy asequible y que cada cierto tiempo nos llevaremos alguna pequeña sorpresa en los diseños de los puzzles u otros, además de su pequeña narrativa y de que el juego maneja cada vez más elementos.

Realmente es un juego bastante desposicionado en lo que conseguimos o en lo que hacemos, está más bien hecho sobre el aquí y ahora, en donde todo lo demás resulta irrelevante entre comillas. Está hecho sobre el aquí y ahora pero resulta curioso que las habilidades que adquirimos nos impidan hacer un solo repaso: si queremos completar el juego al 100% vamos a tener que pasar por las zonas más de una vez porque hay sitios que no podemos acceder sin la habilidad correspondiente. No sé muy bien como interpretar esto. Por una parte resulta bastante descafeinado, e incluso tedioso por el hecho de volver a las zonas donde ya hemos estado, pero por otra me he llevado una buena experiencia de su mecánica jugable y sus reglas.

It’s incredibly cute, but also fun for what it is. Originally a mobile game, it’s been ported successfully, sans bugs, for PC/Mac. I've been playing on a mac. You are a little squirrel named Red. The mad king has stolen all of your winter nut store and your poor old father (Sweet Old Pa). Since it’s a puzzle game, (depite looking closer to Zelda or Cat Quest) it is played entirely with the arrow keys and spacebar. No need for a controller with this one. Every room/section you enter is a puzzle.

The goal of the game is to get your father back, and your nuts. Some pretty funny nut-related innuendo in there at random times, and whether it’s intentional or not, one can only guess. :P If playing with young kids, they wouldn't pick up on that, so it's fine.   It’s not the most difficult game. The puzzles are still challenging enough to keep you entertained for a little while. Played it completely guide free, so didn’t come across anything that didn’t require simple logic to get past. Nice one to play if you’re just looking for something casual.  

Weirdly, there is an “ending” 3/4 of the way through the game and you get the game completion achievement. It’s not actually done at that point. You still have to find the golden nuts to complete the game, so there is a sort of second ending where everyone jumps up and down in victory.... AGAIN! lol. The game does have a portal system so you don't have to backtrack through puzzles to get where you need to go. Although, you might want to after you get certain items in order to get golden chests in rooms/areas that were previously impossible to get to.

I think the game needs a little more love on Steam. I recommend it, especially to the casual gamer who just wants something not too challenging to play.

Red’s Kingdom була портована з мобільних пристроїв, а точніше з продукції Apple, на наш улюблений персональний комп’ютер.

[*] Грати ми будемо за маленького лісового звірка, збираючи горіхи й досліджуючи королівство. Керування в грі класичне для мобільних проєктів: обираємо напрямок – і наш герой котиться туди. Зупиняє його буквально все. Описати геймплей словами доволі складно, тому я настійно раджу подивитися трейлер гри. А тепер перейдемо до зауважень. Оскільки гру портовано з мобільних платформ, керування переналаштували на мишку, і це, м’яко кажучи, страшенно незручно. Граючи, ти не отримуєш геймплейного задоволення, бо його практично немає: проєкт із самого початку створювали під телефони, а не під ПК. Одне діло, що гра народилася на смартфонах, але оптимізувати керування під клавіатуру цілком можна було. Тут гра «просідає» й отримує від мене величезний мінус.

[*] Візуально гра дуже приємна, у повному розумінні цього слова. Якби від мене залежало, я б завжди грав у подібні за стилем проєкти. На жаль, таких ігор на ринку небагато, адже це трудомістко – набагато простіше всюди ліпити пікселі. Ні, я зовсім не засуджую піксель-арт, я його теж люблю, але дивитися на картинку в Red’s Kingdom набагато приємніше.

Вердикт:[i] начебто й непоганий порт з мобільних пристроїв, але керування серйозно підкачало. До того ж гра досить коротка, тож максимум вистачить на один день.[/i]

Оцінка:[b] 7/10[/b]. Хочеться вірити, що розробники почнуть краще адаптовувати свої ігри під клавіатури, геймпади та мишки.

It's initially kinda fun but ruined by these:

* Unhelpful maps;
* Navigating back requiring you solving solved puzzles without any rewards;
* Deceiving 3D graphics and helper marks are nearly invisible (it's unnoticeable except the instant when it disappeared);
* Gets old faster than the story progresses.

퍼즐 어드벤처, <Red's Kingdom>. 용감한 주인공 짐승이(다람쥐인지 여우인지 너굴맨인지 도저히 모르겠다) 나쁜 다람쥐 왕이 납치한 아빠와 황금 도토리를 찾으러 간다는 내용. 너무 어렵지 않은, 그러나 어느 정도는 머리를 쓰게 만드는 적정 난이도가 마음에 드네요.

모든 맵이 전부 퍼즐 스테이지이면서 길이라는 점이 압권입니다. 어떻게든 모든 맵이 한 길로 통하게끔 만들어졌어요. 이동을 방해하거나 조작해야 하는 오브젝트도 다양하고, 스토리를 진행함에 따라 갈 수 있는 곳이 늘어난다는 성취감을 만족시켜줍니다. 한 방(스테이지) 플레이가 굉장히 짧은 대신, 한 맵으로 이어놔서 연속적인 플레이가 가능합니다. 그 동기로 단순하지만 알기 쉬운 목표(도토리 모으기, 스토리 진행하기)를 제시하고, 난이도도 딱 적당하고. 취향 맞는 분이면 앉은 자리에서 서너 시간은 쭉 하실지도.

아기자기하고 귀여운 그래픽이라 맵 구경하는 재미는 있습니다만, 좀 문제가 있는게... 소위 '빠른이동' 배치가 좀 안 좋습니다. 포탈과 포탈간의 거리가 너무 멀어요. 길 잘못 들어서 포탈 타고 돌아가려 해도 이미 푼 퍼즐을 서너 번은 풀어야 하니, 오픈월드라는게 꼭 장점일 수는 없겠더라고요. 제게는 예쁜 맵과 신선함으로 플러스 요소입니다만, 어떤 분은 정말 싫어하겠다 싶네요. 클리어한 맵은 평지로 만들어주지 참.

Habituellement, je suis peu confiant au sujet des jeux qui viennent du monde mobile mais là, j'ai été séduit. La possibilité d'utiliser la souris en donnant une direction simule correctement l'équivalent tactile mais est un peu lente pour certains puzzles où des obstacles remontent au bout d'un laps de temps assez court. Au clavier, cela fonctionne très bien, on regrettera cependant qu'il ne soit pas possible de réattribuer les touches.

Au niveau du principe, c'est simple, on entre une direction et notre personnage va dans cette direction mais ne peut s'arrêter que contre un obstacle. Il y a quelques nouvelles mécaniques qui sont ajoutées au fur et à mesure du jeu pour ajouter un peu de nouveauté.

Niveau graphique c'est très soigné avec un côté mignon qui se fait l'écho de l'histoire un peu simplette.

La musique est entrainante mais finit tout de même par devenir un brin entêtante.

On peut compter 6h pour finir le jeu avec un bon % mais pour les speedrunners, il existe un succès finir le jeu en moins de 90 min.

Au final, un jeu agréable si tant est qu'on aime les puzzle games.

Неплохая казуальная головоломка.Мы играем за белку у которой злобный тиран (тоже впрочем белка) украл орехи.Вот мы и катаемся (только по прямой) по небольшим уровням-лабиринтам и собираем эти самые орехи.Кнопки, рычаги, ключи к запертым дверям, поднимающиеся платформы и сундуки присутствуют.Игра без изысков ,но вполне на уровне.Если хочется отдохнуть от крупных игр расслабиться и скоротать часок другой это игра вполне подойдет.

Red´s Kingdom - Una aventura repleta de Puzzles

Red´s Kingdom es un título desarrollado por Cobra Mobile y publicado en 19 de Enero del 2017 en la plataforma de Steam. Es un juego del género Aventura y Puzzles, repleto de color, emoción, incluso acción.

La primera impresión fue muy buena, me encontré una estética muy animada y colorida (como en las caricaturas), cosa que me hizo recordar a los videojuegos que jugaba de pequeño. Luego quedé sorprendido por la estética de texturas blandas y adorables en los personajes, por más que estemos en contra de una ardilla maligna, su apariencia mantiene algo dulce y tierna.

Me parece un juego ideal para todas las edades, en especial para todos aquellos fanáticos de los Puzzles, aunque en Red´s Kingdom también habrán momentos frenéticos (u otro adjetivo); esto debido a que somos una ardilla (llamada Red), quien se encuentra buscando su Avellana Dorada, fue robada por el Rey maligno Mac el Loco. Para peores, sus padres también fueron secuestrados por el malvado rey.

No esperaba que este título me enganche tanto, por ello concuerdo con GaminTaylor en su critica cuando dice:

“Gameplay is very addicting and enjoyable”

Las mecánicas y controles son muy simples, al principio te marea un poco el movimiento, pero te acostumbras rápidamente. Ya que Red se desplaza rodando y rebotando en lineas rectas con todos los obstáculos e paredes, pero no se queda solo ahí la cosa. Cobra Mobile incluye rampas para sortear obstáculos, incluso encuentras un traje volador, me fascinó muchisimo que conforme completas un puzzle, los siguientes se vuelven más complicados, hasta el punto que piensas que son imposibles de vencer.

En Red's Kingdom se pueden apreciar lo bien combinado que esta, un juego de Acción, Puzzle, acompañado por una banda sonora alegre y feliz. ¿Porque pertenece al genero acción? La respuesta me dejo boquiabierto... En Red´s Kingdom puedes luchar contra las ardillas subordinadas del Rey Loco Mac, el sistema de lucha es muy simple, debes alinearte frente al enemigo y avanzar hacia él (parece sencillo pero no lo es)... Cada vez que le golpeas pierdes un corazón, los recuperas recogiendo corazones en el mapa (los enemigos una vez derrotados suelen dropearte un corazón).

El juego en sí, es corto. Son 17 áreas en total las que debes superar, pero lo complejo es terminarlo rápido, hay un logro en Steam para aquellos capaces de hacerlo "Completa el juego en menos de 90 minutos". Sin embargo les aseguro que cada área se empieza a complicar con trampas, saltos que te llevan a los pinchos, bordes sin barandas donde podes caer al vacío, etc.

Lo bueno de Red´s Kingdom:

Es un Título muy alegre, por sus colores, banda sonora, y personajes. Donde lo sencillo es compensado con el entorno repleto de obstáculos, cuyos nervios serán puesto a prueba más de una vez. Algo que no quería dejar pasar por alto es lo divertido que hablan los personajes (se aprecia en las cinemáticas), con voces agudas y tiernas. Entre sus características mas importantes encontramos una aventura increíble en un reino de colores listo para explorar, pelear contra los matones del Rey, incluso develar misterios y secretos listo para ser encontrados.

Lo Malo de Red´s Kindom:

Lo que encontré raro fueron los movimientos del personaje, el cual sin una rotación de la cámara puede confundir y llevarte a una muerte (o perdida de corazones), porque pierdes el sentido de la orientación.

Fun casual puzzle adventure game.

Pros:

Puzzles are not overly difficult. Since you can clearly see the exit, lots of times you only need to trace the puzzles backwards to get a good idea how to finish it.

If you do get stuck or make a mistake, you can reset the current map and start all over again with full life!

Somewhat non-linear progression on the map. There are a couple of choices in which way to proceed. For example when heading towards the boss' castle, I could choose one of 2 ways to get to it.

Loads of hidden items to find.

Cons:

Can't move the camera around to help see blind spots. Sometimes you can't tell if you're going to fall off and take damage or if there will be something there to stop you. I realize I can just try out the blind spot and then reset the current map if I take damage but it's annoying at times.

Most of the items (hidden or not) don't do anything for you. Only the keys and gems matter.

Though nuts give you hints about the level, other than that they do absolutely nothing.

You can totally tell this was made for an ipad application which would then mean that this game is much too expensive for Steam. If you're going to pick this up, please be sure to purchase at a discount.

Overall, for a fun time where you want to test yourself without hurting your brain cells too much, pick this game up. However please be sure to puchase at a good discount.

+ The gameplay is very addicting and quite enjoyable. Your character rolls everywhere, and only stops when it hits a wall or object. You mainly have to navigate around rooms trying to figure out how to reach the door or exit.
+ Visually the game looks fantastic with a beautiful style that you can't help but love.
+ Cute story with amusing cutscenes
+ Since every room / puzzle is small and connected to one another, you end up completing puzzles at a very fast rate which keeps the game feeling upbeat while rarely getting stuck for very long.
+ Lots of new mechanics that are added frequently throughout the game to keep things from getting stale.
+ A TON of content / puzzles to solve that do get challenging from time to time.
+ Great relaxing / charming soundtrack

- The perspective can sometimes be disorientating, and make it hard to tell where you will roll to.

Ich habe jetzt eine Weile gespielt und muss sagen, dass Red's Kingdom absolut Spaß macht. Die Puzzles sind sehr gut lösbar wenn auch nicht zu einfach, der Schwierigkeitsgrad steigt langsam an wird aber nach 15-20 Minuten schon schon relativ knifflig.

Ihr spiel ein Eichhörnchen und müsst diesem helfen seine verlorenen Nüsse wiederzufinden. Hierzu müsst ihr gegen verschiedene Hindernisse rollen, welche als Stopper fungieren. Ihr müsst euch euren Weg genau überlegen um alle Nüsse eines jeden Screens einzusammeln. Zum Glück sind die Züge nicht begrenzt und ihr könnt munter verschiedene Wega ausprobieren. Außerdem kommen im späteren Spielverlauf Zusatzaufgaben dazu wie z.B. gefangene Figuren zu befreien. In jedem Screen befindet sich mindestens ein Speicherpunkt damit keine Frustration aufkommt. Das Scrolling des Spiels ist wirklich angenehm und übersichtlich. Die Grafik ist ein absoluter Augenschmaus: Absolut farbenfroh und hochauflösend. Von der Grafik her mag man vermuten, dass es sich um ein Spiel für Kinder handelt. Aber weit gefehlt, die Rätsel sind auch für Erwachsene wirklich anspruchsvoll.

Ich habe das Spiel mit meinem Xbox One Controller gespielt und es läuft einwandfrei. Wenn man sich die Landkarte im Hauptmenü anschaut, scheint der Spielumfang auch wirklich großzügig zu sein. Dieses sieht wirklich riesig aus.

Die schon fast obligatorischen Steam-Features wie Achievements und Trading Cards sind natürlich auch vorhanden.

9/10 Punkte von meiner Seite für dieses eingängige Puzzlespiel und somit eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Red's kingdom vous raconte l'histoire de Red un écureuil qui ces faits voler toute cette précieuse noisette, son père et sur toute sa noisette d'or durement gagner au nutaward (cela m'a fait penser un peu à Nutella^^).

Vous devrez explorer le royaume à la recherche de tout ceci et résoudre de nombreux puzzles en fessant de jolie roulade. La difficulté des puzzles est croissante au fil du temps et est bien pensée, du nouveau contenue apparaît comme des rampes, des "taches de colle" qui vous freine dans votre élan, des pièges, des leviers avec une certaine durée dans le temps, ...

Vous passerez de carte en carte tout en essayant de trouver le meilleur passage et au fil des puzzles et de l'histoire débloquerez de nouvelle capacité comme le faite de voler ou bien encore pouvoir attaquer des ennemies et bien d'autres.

Le look graphique est plutôt cool, bien fait mes restes un peu enfantins à mon goût.

Sinon pour le gameplay j'y ai joué qu'avec mon clavier et j'ai un peu de mal avec les directions du personnage. Quoique l'on n'utilise que les touches directionnelles du clavier et des fois la touche espace.

À part ce petit défaut là pour ma part j'ai vraiment plaisir à jouer à cette aventure plutôt drôle, le prix du jeu est très correct pour le contenu qu'il propose ( 8.99€) comparer à certains jeux de temps en temps.

Si mon Éva ne vous à pas encore convaincue je vous propose une petite vidéo de gameplay donc n'hésiter pas à aller faire un tour et me dire ce que vous en avez pensé en commentaire positivement comme négativement les remarque font avancer, à mettre un petit pouce bleu sur la vidéo ou pas et pourquoi pas à vous abonner à ma chaine si la contenue vous satisfait.

I've played about 15 minutes or so, but it's really well done, the puzzles are enjoyable, difficulty curve ramps up at a nice pace.

This is actually more of a puzzle metroidvania than a straight up puzzle game. Think Solstice on the NES, or to a lesser extent, Landstalker on Mega Drive. The movement is cool, you gain new abilities at a nice rate.

Judging by the map in the menu, it's a fairly decent size game. I'm using a gamepad, so not sure what keyboard controls/mouse controls are like

My daughter loves it. It has some crude humour in it (squirrel constantly refers to finding his nuts and asking people if they have seen his nuts. The point of the game so far is to find his stolen acorns), but she can't read, so that's not a problem for smaller children.

Edit : So I've played about 2 hours now (my 4 year old sits next to me and talks about the puzzles). It's actually pretty hard. I think I'm about 15% of the way through (the journal gives a percent estimate) so it is a fairly decent size game. Thankfully the devs implemented a portal so you don't need to backtrack through the puzzles. Still really enjoying it. Definitely worth $10. Would like to see this get some more love on Steam.
