Pig Eat Ball is a very fun game with chill and goofy vibes. I recommend to play it if you want a simple and fun puzzle game. It's really good to play throughout the levels, they have a lot of variety. Awesome SFX !!

I found this gem via a long twitter thread of steam game recommendations, got hooked on the bizarre premise, and stayed for everything.

Gameplay is incredibly fun, it it has a lot of great gimmicks and isn't too repetitive. The game is rewarding for players of all skill levels, but there is room to try again and again and improve. The designs are unique and unlike anything I've seen before. The music slaps severely. The overworld is fun and enjoyable to play in. I LOVE the art style. The graphics are lovely.

And most of all, I cannot stress how POLISHED this game feels. Everything moves with the perfect amount of smoothness, so much work has been poured into every animation and ounce of gameplay, and the menus have a great layout with a lot of quality of life features. The story is weird and fun and cute. I enjoy strange, surrealist games so some of the design choices might be too strange for others, and it cannot be understated that there is a LOT of green cartoon puke and various puke mechanics, but the first boss battle is among the top coolest video game bosses I have ever seen.

I seriously recommend picking up this game if you think you might be interested, it's a great purchase for the price and a fun, unique experience. Pig Eat Ball!!

This game is just so FUN. It's a genuine arcade-type reminiscent of the flash golden age in it that emphasizes skill, replay-ability, and humor. Tons of levels with lots of mechanics to keep things fresh and a level editor for infinite play. It's disappointing this game isn't more well-known.

Es un juego indie el cual consta de una premisa muy simple, vivimos en una especie de estacion espacial llena de bichos y mutantes, que es gobernada por el Rey Pastel, y su hija la cerdita quiere irse a recorrer el universo y explorar, pero El rey pastel no quiere y le dice que quiere que se case y va a tomar su mano quien gane la competencia de pelotas (no explica mucho esto) y bueno, ella se “disfraza” con unas gafas y sale por las 5 estaciones con 4 módulos cada uno (interconectadas entre si y podes ir a todas desde un menu, pero necesitas perlas para ir desbloqueando todas las plantas de cada estacion y matar a los bosses para abrir otras estaciones) para ganar perlas, medallas y asi poder completar las 5 estaciones y ganar el torneo y con un poco de suerte no casarse.

Hay 3 tipos de juego, tiempo infinito y vida infinita, Tiempo limitado y vida infinita, Tiempo infinito y vida FINITA.

Mecanicas:
Existe un Totem almacenador de pelotas (asi no engordas tanto)
Podes aspirar bolas con pinches (hacen daño)
Aspirar pelotas de tenis y cerrar la boca para no aspirar - Podes aumentar el poder de succion con otros disfraces ej. los labios pintados de rojo
Hay bloques rompibles para avanzar
Paredes irrompibles (generalmente el perímetro exterior y algunas interiores obvio, como en todo juego)
Powerup de Iman para atraer pelotas de tenis (muy útil)
Powerup de Bananas que bloquean a las pelotas pinchudas (lanzas bananas por la boca y salen muchisimas cada pocos segundos, bloquean mucho y ayudan)
Paredes bloqueadores de cerdo (solo paran al cerdo de avanzar y nada mas)
Paredes bloqueadores de pelota (iguales que los de cerdo pero para pelotas)
Cuando el personaje es muy gordo no puede pasar por algunos pasajes y tenes que vomitar pelotas para pasar

Realmente es una maravilla en todos los sentidos este juego, a nivel gráfico, estético, música, es probablemente uno de los mejores estudios de videojuegos que hay en internet debido a lo infravalorado que esta. Este juego particularmente tiene MUCHISIMAS opciones como cooperativo, remote play, Workshop, marcadores, editor de niveles in-game. Realmente es excelente, no puedo esperar a ver el siguiente titulo de este Estudio.
Solo termine la primer estacion de las 5, pero tengo pendiente retomar las otras 4 pronto y realmente no tiene desperdicio!

PD: El juego tiene un modo "fiesta" que creo que es como arcade/vs (no lo probé pero existe tambien)

Extremely fun yet weird game. The amount of passion and creativity put into this title is unbelievable.

Its an arcade game kind of hard to describe, the main feature consists on eating balls to get bigger and puke them depending on the situation. As weird as it sounds, its really polished and what it looks like a simple game mechanic turns into a massive amount of variety really soon. You'll go from throwing darts, bowling balls, bombs, etc... to dodge giant and weird creatures like a bee-cat or insect-bulls and use them to your advantage, to solve puzzles and intrincate mazes, to fight bosses with really fun and yes, weird designs, and the list goes on.

There is a lot of exploration between levels that gives you some freedom, lots of costumes and powerups that can be used to complete levels in more efficient ways, many many side challenges through the way, and various multiplayer modes (though the player base its extremely low sadly, so...). To sum things up, it has a lot of content, getting the 100% of the game will take you around 20 hours.

The pixel art its beautiful and extremely detailed, and the soundtrack is surprisingly good and full of personality. Also, the chaos that can happen sometimes on screen, accompained with the great music tracks, create some hilarious situations that are just fun to watch.

Nothing bad to say about this title honestly, its fantastic, and its really cheap considering the amount of content it offers. If you buy it you are probably gonna love it, and in that case, please, leave a review. The game only has around 25 reviews on Steam (all of them positive) and its a crime in my opinion to let this hidden gem die in obscurity.

Give this game a chance, you wont regret it!

Pig Eat Ball is a lot. Maybe even too much. Even though its roots are in arcade maze games it's not content to keep repeating the same ideas. Instead its hundreds of levels are constantly introducing new mechanics and using them in clever ways in a very Nintendo-like design. It's all rendered in this detailed collage-style pixel art, gross-out silly and overstimulating. I'll say it, this should have been a hit.

This is the game people who were raised in the early to mid 90's missed out on.

Absolutely brilliant game with a very simple formula, many references to classic games like pacman, arkanoid and others, many very great variations on a very simple concept, lots of powerups and overall just a great nostalgia inducing design.

PVを見てもよくわからないと思うので説明すると、羽の生えた豚のような生物を操作してテニスボールを飲み込んだり吐いたりするゲーム。ステージ中にある全てのボールを飲み込めばクリア。
ボールを蓄えすぎると体が大きくなって狭い通路を通れなくなるので、ステージによっては闇雲にボールを追うのではなく、上手いこと調整しなければならない。
ユニークなボス戦もあり。
ジャンル分けするならアクションパズル。
だけど、このゲームに関しては、そんな風に分類することすらナンセンスなんじゃないかと思う。

波長が合うプレイヤーなら、しばらく遊んでいる内に、ステージをクリアすること以外のどこかに自分が快感を得ていることに気づくはず。
画面には、ゲロを引っ掛けられて悲鳴を上げる虫や、油のシミを広げるエビ天や、真珠を吐き出す貝や、ステージクリアの音楽や、どうやっても愛せない主人公がべちゃべちゃに並んでいて、そこから説明し難い喜びが滲み出してくる。
ふと、車酔いに気づくみたいにそれを感じ取る瞬間が、このゲームには存在している。
喉の奥に感じたその酸味こそ、このゲームの味わいの内の一つなのは間違いない。

PVを見て心に何かむらむらっと来るものがあればセール時にでも買ってみると良いと思う。
そうでなければ、手に取るべきじゃない。
あなたにとってこのゲームは、汚くて、面白みが少なくて、その上、少し値の張る、気持ち悪いキャラクターが玉を吸って吐くだけのゲームに違いないから。

A truly unique game with surprising depth. While the art style, character design, and overall style and sense of humour are amazingly crazy, the gameplay variety is really quite astounding: depending on the stage and how you play, Pig Eat Ball shuttles between being a top-down action/shooter, a puzzle game, and even a racing game. I've had tons of fun replaying every level multiple times to earn gold medals and global leaderboard spots, but the power-ups and general chaos also make the game really welcoming for casual playthroughs. Highly recommend if you aren't immediately turned off by barfing cartoon pigs and childish potty noises.

Also, did I mention how great the soundtrack is? I'm really itching to get my hands on the OST.

Для тех, кто не понял, что это вообще за дичь - тут надо играя за космическую свинью проходить уровни, всасывая теннисные мячи на время, или выполняя другие соревновательные задачи.
Управление:
Z - Рывок вперёд
X - Не всасывать (чтобы не взять "вредные" предметы)
Пробел - Плевать\блевать
Удобнее на геймпаде.
Множество павер-апов и абсурда. Игра явно не для брезгливых, потому что уровень блевотины тут зашкаливает. Однако, игра по прежнему довольно весёлая - мне нравится музыка, игра придерживается определённому неповторимому стилю, здесь есть боссы. Это, как если бы довольно среднюю аркаду делал бы наркоман.
Ближайшим родственником игры назвал бы [spoiler]What the golf, Genital Joursting и немножко Rayman[/spoiler]

so i got this for 8.99 and at first i didnt really like it too much, felt like somthing i would have paid $2 for. i got it because it looked like somthing i would like and the reviews seemed great. after a little bit of time i started to figure out the game and i think im going to end up liking it quite a bit. the music is really nice and i love the art style. some times games will just hook me and i wont see it coming, i think that could happen here. tbh at this moment i dont think its worth the full $15 price. i think 10$ is fair enough for this game. if this is your kind of thing pick it up on sale.

that's all i really need to say. but I'll expand on that.
Pig Eat Ball is filled with charm. from the novel gameplay to the novel visuals. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like it, okay. there's these bugs characters in the hub world that are playing tennis with the titular balls and that would be enough to win me over. but there's this living simulation thing going on and you can interact with them. As the titular pig, you can eat ball and ruin their game. But also throwing up is a mechanic and you can vomit the balls back up on the buggies and gross them out and make them hurl in response -- it's a chain reaction! Delightful living world! (also bugs can play tennis with other bugs. many overlapping rules of interactivity)

Visually the world is bright bubblegum pop aesthetic, but also 90s-ish gross out. Everything is shiny glossy, but not without organic wrinkles and folds, not too polished. It doesn't get that sterile too-perfect feel that pixelart can sometimes have. Wacky world with bizarre but coherent logic which fits very well in a game setting. Games are a great way to experience such environments. To live in a world for a short time.

Care has been taken to make the input feedback satisfying. It's inherently fun to control

And then the pillbugs become mechanics too!

Pig Eat Ball is a game developed and published by Mommy's Best Games

The game offers some pleasant graphics and really vibrant colours, although some ugly glitches here and there, it is pleasant all the same

The game does suffer with some repetitiveness at certain areas of the game but a fun game nontheless

The game also suffers with some weird bugs and glitches which the developer seemed to have overlooked but they don't hinder the game at all

Pig Eat Ball overall, however, is a fun game to play in short bursts and is one of mommy's best games (get it)!

Absolutely, delightfully, stuffed with content. Great music too. Works fine with the mouse but feels much better using a controller. I appreciate the Steam Cloud support as I played it on two different machines although it is a bit strange that the cloud seemed to transfer over my video settings, that might be a minor glitch. Very enjoyable and highly recommended!

Pig Eat Ball is a Good Game, but so what, there's tons of good games on Steam. Spoiler warning? Pig Eat Ball has levels in it where you can barf on Pacman-esque ghosts causing them to freak out and turn blue, at which point you can bash them, turning them into eyeball/nervous-system "skeletons" and then they go to the shower (why?) where they can slowly regenerate their ectoplasmic bodies before coming after you again. That, and plenty of other Strange Attractions, is why you want Pig Eat Ball.

Disgusting and deranged. I Love it. It has great music, a unique and innovative action-puzzle mechanic, a weird and funny surrealist fever dream vibe and it's exploding with ideas. The controls are great and the levels are thoughtfully created. It also has very high quality burping, gagging and barfing sound effects.

PEB is a great title that just oozes creativity. It's a hilarious mix of straightforward gameplay and absurd visuals. The game seamlessly blends action and puzzles for a really unique experience. I first saw this game when it was featured at PAX West in the Indie Megabooth and was immediately drawn to the chaotic gameplay. Having the chance to play the final product, I can say that the progression seems very smooth with new concepts introduced at a good pace. Levels are pretty short and seem to mix up concepts to keep the gameplay fresh. I haven't tried the co-op yet but look forward to using this feature soon.

Played a bunch of this at PAX West and it was SICK (in a good way)! So good I instabought it on launch. It's hard to convey how good the controls feel, as the videos don't really do the game justice. Everything is a little bit out of control while also reacting so well to your inputs. It just feels good to play, and the amount of personality and character in every pixel of this game is off the charts. It's crazy, it's fun, it's a bit disgusting/disturbing, and I can't wait to play both the SP campaign and the 4-player modes (will update my review with additional thoughts after I'm done).

PS. I would HIGHLY recommend using a gamepad to play the game, as the mouse controls are cool but don't have the same natural feel that you get from moving a character directly with an analog stick.
