第一章故事挺温情的，第四章有些烂。

在熟悉这个游戏之后，从二周目起就是个背板游戏。
为数不多玩通关的恐怖游戏，玩过白色情人节和鬼妇之后我免疫了任何恐怖游戏。

i adore this game, even if it is buggy sometimes, there is something about the vibes that hits.
it does not rely on jumpscares like most horror games to get the job done. the sounds alone are scary enough.

I love this game. So far I have only played the original, The White Lady, but I will play the DLC soon also. I hope you continue to make more DLC for this game. In some ways, I feel like this game is similar to the old Silent Hill games in a way that I really like, but it is also different from anything else I have played. I highly recommend.

The attention to details and love for the project is something that you can truly feel here. This is a great game for both Indonesian and people that want to know more about Indonesian culture, not to mention anyone with an interest in folklore and horror mythology.
Plus this franchise also have movies that follow the source material. Good games, good movies adaptation and amazing dev team.

its a very well thought game, but i wish, its less redundant and repetitive than it is. we get it, there's a bunch of endings and stories. but i dont think it need the same routine for most of the endings and a long to do lists. because it could be damn hurtful if we did one mistake that ruins the whole steps.
appreciate the research, the writing and the design. but hope for a better mechanic for the door. (also i found a bug in the parent's wardrobe- i couldn't move and i have to restart-tho i dont know if i got stunted or not)

You are Jaka, a young Indonesian man, probably in your mid-twenties. Both of your parents died in a car accident about a year ago, and the family home has sat empty since then. Now you've finally made it back to your hometown with the idea to clean up the house and sell it. However, once you arrive you soon find out that the house is haunted.
This game certainly has a dark and spooky atmosphere, but I wouldn't call it horror. I would call it tedious, repetitive, grinding, and ultimately... boring. There are 35 different endings ([i]i.e. achievements[/i]), depending on which actions you take over the course of one to three nights, and you'll spend most of your time just cleaning the house over and over and over.
Each ending is based on a combination of how many nights you stay, WHAT objects you interact with, HOW you interact with them, and whether you make a positive comment or a negative comment about those objects. ([i]NOTE: Only some objects can be commented on.[/i])
Graphics are so-so. It's so dark you really can't see much, even with the lights turned on in all the rooms. I have found several of the achievements to be buggy, either not popping when they should, or popping the wrong achievement for the actions I was taking.
Some of the endings don't make sense either. For example, in one ending the ghost follows you when you leave BECAUSE you took the ghost's favorite object. Yet in another ending you again take the ghost's favorite object, but the ghost stays behind in the house and bothers the new owners instead.

A horror game in which your choices can lead to a variety of endings.
You assume the role of a researcher investigating urban myths or folklore. The apartment serves as your base, with a board for posting information about your investigations and a computer for reading mails and starting your case. The intriguing aspect is that you do not play a case as a researcher, but as the protagonist of the story.
It’s a bit unfortunate that only one case is available with the main game. The other three must be purchased as separate DLCs. Because each case allows you to play a different protagonist, explore a different location, and deal with unique folklore, purchasing merely the main game will only give you access to one-fourth of the content.
The gameplay remains consistent with the usual horror experience. Since I was only able to play the first case, I can only assume that the gameplay features are consistent across all cases. Your first case concerns a man who visits his former home in order to sell it.
Your objective is to walk around the house and interact with various objects. This is accomplished using the two mouse buttons. The cursor in the center of the screen is divided into two half, indicating possible interactions. It is a little small and difficult to see when it transitions from gray to red, but it generally works fine.
The left mouse button performs direct actions such as pick up or use, whilst the right mouse button is used to comment. Most things allow at least two comments, which you can only do once per item. Once you have made your selection, it is locked for the remainder of the game. However, commenting is only utilized for a small number of items, so you will still mostly use the left mouse button for anything else.
The house is not particularly large, but you can inspect a number of more or less important items. There are several blurry paintings you can look and a few notes and papers. While the original language is Indonesian, the game allows you to instantly translate anything using the same font and style with the click of a button. The only downside is that you have to do this every time you want to read something.
Now, the game's interest stems on the numerous endings. You can either leave after one night, sell the house, or do a variety of other things. You have three days to make a decision, and you may easily transition to the next day by sleeping.
One of the most important tasks is to complete the daily to-do list and tidy the house. You can dispose of rubbish, remove cobwebs, and straighten paintings. However, you can also throw away something that's connected to the entity. The best approach is to respect the entity's personal items and leave them where they are.
Once you reach an ending, you will receive a report on the objects and how you interacted with them. A new piece of information will be added to the board, you will receive a new email, and you can go for another run. This additional information can occasionally provide hints on how to achieve the best endings.
The frustrating thing is that you will have to start the game from the beginning each time. This means you will have to restart each step and adjust one action to achieve a completely different outcome. Although the game is short, you might decide that completing all of the endings will take too long.
As previously stated, you will have to buy the three DLCs to see the entire content. Without them, you will have to stare at the empty three spaces on the board, three icons on the computer you can’t activate, and a lot of achievements you will never unlock.

An Indonesian horror game that isn’t truly scary, but it does have some great atmosphere. I got the based game from a charity bundle and I bought the three expansion packs, so I do think it is worth the money. There are some issues. There are over 100 endings across the four stories, which is both a blessing and a curse. There’s lots to explore, but too many of the endings are repetitive. You will have to do X then Y then Z to get to the end of the story and there are two or three options for how you do each, so to get all of the dozen endings, you will be doing mostly the same stuff a dozen times. There are also some bugs. At one point, you have to interact with an object, but if you are too close, the animation starts but never ends and you have to hit Alt-F4 to get out of the game. On the other hand, if you are too far away, the animation never starts and you are also stuck and have to hit Alt-F4 to get out of the game.
It is worth picking up, but keep in mind it is a low-budget indie game that relies more on atmosphere than true scares and your enjoyment will depend heavily on how much repetitiveness you are willing to deal with to get all of the endings.

只能說當時覺得不錯的優點，變成後續篇章的缺點。
劇情上，玩家扮演著一名遊戲設計師，

每一篇故事都有不同的主軸，
能解鎖的結局也相當的多，
而每當你完成了一個結局，在遊戲設計師的布告欄中，
對於該傳說故事的資訊就有更多註解，
這點很有趣，也會激起玩家想挑戰解鎖不同的結局。
但也因為如此，遊戲給的提示不多，
很多主線需要蒐集或完成的項目不明確，
導致你可能已經盡力去做那件事，但因為未達標準，
所以你還是重複體驗了之前拿過的結局，
這一點尤其在最後一章更是讓我玩到火大。
攻略/操作，首先要吐槽的是遊戲的調查指標太小了，
然後很多文本雖然都翻譯過，但字體爆幹小，
雖然文本多半是讓玩家了解劇情或背後設定，
但是在不方便的情況下代入感直接砍半。
很多謎題的引導如上段描述不明確，
雖然取得結局後會有一些建議可以參考，
但仍舊是相當的難以推敲好結局的條件。
恐怖感，大概中下，第一章表現還不錯，
第二三章如果不走最好的結局，連鬼影都很難看到，
主要還是靠JS嚇人，或是強制轉移你的鏡頭，
尤其在第四章有個明確的敵人追著你，
你會發現他們應該不是不想做，只是技術就真的只能這樣。
尤其是最終戰的選擇真的會讓人氣死，
QTE就已經很煩躁了，他還設定要完成一些推進後，
你才有辦法去做該章節要做的事情，真的讓我一度惱羞。
再玩性，因為多結局和探索，
加上本作的文本術量真的很優秀，
相當大量能互動的道具，有些可能是跟角色的生長背景有關，
有些則可能是提示你它的作用是甚麼，
根據劇情你需要做的處置。
但大量的結局也意味著，你想獲得好結局必須要層層剃除，
但是因為結局後的結算成就也不是寫得很清楚，
在一次次嘗試的過程中，探索趕早隨理智值噴發消耗殆盡。

I have to give this a thumbs down just because there is no Steam Cloud implemented, like why? I just lost my entire saves which had many ending completed by doing boring and unnecessary home cleaning job. With so many endings designed, not using cloud save is straight wrong.
This was my first introduction (with recommendation from a friend) into the Indonesian side of superstition & the spiritual aspect of the nation in of itself. Even despite the game's age, I found myself somewhat enveloped into the small perspective-based lives of each character and storyline that each chapter had to offer. At a gaming standpoint, sure, it can be time consuming to 100% all endings or just experiment around with different interactions, but for myself, the stories itself and being able to indirectly learn from a somewhat educational standpoint is ultimately what made me stick around longer to discover what more I could do and what would eventually concur from those actions whether respectful or not in game. Horror points throughout are very evident, some cheap some not, but even just the environments and ambiance alone is enough to catch you off guard even when nothing is certain. I mean, the very same Indonesian friend who recommended me this game is absolutely terrified of playing the game either alone or at hours past dark, so I guess that proves a point. As for real life accuracy, all of the superstitions, time of day, calendar dates, rituals, and almost all actions and consequences are accurate to real life superstition; depictions of all the spirits e.g. Kuntilanak, Pocong, Tuyul, Leyak are also nicely made. I honestly don't know if it's bias, or for other coinciding reasons, but I genuinely really enjoyed this game all throughout, and I'm aware there are other similar works by Storytale in the making, so I'm sure I'll make some effort out of those.

De resto, que jogo sensacional!!!!! Joguei 5 horas e to amando essa ideia dos criadores.
No jogo, você irá vivenciar contos da Indonésia. Até ai beleza, daora mas nada de demais, pode ser bom, pode ser ruim... Acontece que cada conto possui diversas maneiras de interação, com diversos finais possíveis. (um detalhe, cada final garante uma conquista, o jogo atualmente possui 117 conquistas, ou seja, dentre os 4 contos, há 117 finais. HAJA CONTEÚDO)
E sério, o jogo eh mesmo de terror, mas também eh uma baita brisa cultural, na qual você acaba entendendo e aprendendo como e o que fazer. Muita dedicação e vontade trouxeram para nós, apreciadores do medinho na noite, uma baita experiência.

Bueno, basicamente, para los hispanohablantes, por que no lo recomiendo. No es que sea un juego caro, pero es muy repetitivo. Para arrancar, pense que para pasar de capitulo habia que tener todos los finales, por lo que los busque (Ya que algunos eran muy parecidos, son 35 y con variaciones muy pequeñas) y despues de haber limpiado la casa del cap 1 como perro (Parecia un cleaning simulator) consegui terminar ese nivel, sin embargo, no pasa nada. Me fijo y habia que comprar los DLC jajaj. Tiene momentos de terror, si, que te cagan un poco, y esta buena la forma de mostrar los mitos indoneses que tiene pero al mismo tiempo esto se termina perdiendo en la infinidad de finales que tiene cada nivel, y hay algunos que sobran, al final ya te acostumbras tanto a los sustos que decis meh cada vez que pasa, ademas se podria haber aprovechado el prendido y apagado de luces un poco mas, para darle un poco mas de protagonismo al fantasma. Con 20 finales o incluso 15 bastaba y sobraba. 35 es un monton

Tatsächlich ist das auch eher eine neutrale Bewertung.
Zum einen bekommt man hier für recht kleines Geld relativ viel Inhalt geboten. Jedes der 4 Kapitel hat über 30 Möglichkeiten es zu beenden. Das hat mich erstmal schon beeindruckt. Und auch mal ein wenig der Mythologie aus Indonesien kennen zu lernen war interessant.
Leider hat mich der Horror hier nicht so mit genommen. Nur eine handvoll Jumpscares hat mich mal erwischt und auch sonst habe ich mich eigentlich gar nicht gegruselt. Darüber hinaus bin ich auch kein Freund von dieser Art Gameplay. Einfach die ganze Zeit irgendwelche Sachen suchen und ab und zu mal vor irgendwas weg laufen begeistert mich nicht wirklich. Das muss dann schon richtig gut gemacht sein und das war es hier leider nicht.
Von den 4 Kapiteln fand ich gerade das letzte und umfangreichere eher lahm. Auch die Steuerung fand ich gerade in QTE's auch mies.
Gibt also pro und Kontras für das Spiel. Da mir ein Großteil eher weniger Spaß gemacht hat, kann ich den Daumen leider eher nur nach unten machen. Aber für alle die auf ruhigen, seichten Horror stehen, gerne rum suchen und auf langsame Spiele stehen, ist das schon eine Kaufempfehlung. Um hier alles zu erreichen ist man bestimmt 30-50 Stunden beschäftigt. Da kann man für 12€ nichts sagen.
Ich halte die Bewertung hier bei Steam aber nicht aussagekräftig. Ich verstehe mal wieder nicht, warum die so krass positiv ist, wenn nicht mal 10% der Spieler hier wirklich gespielt haben. Man sieht das an den Achievments. Die meisten Leute haben das Spiel nur oberflächlich angetestet.

Я очень люблю фольклорные мотивы в играх. Особенно ярко это проявляется в хоррорах, где вместо безымянных бабаек нас знакомят с реальными монстрами, обитающими в городских легендах. Обычно в таких играх этому уделяется много внимания, поэтому это можно считать, в каком-то смысле, образовательным контентом. Pamali: Indonesian Folklore Horror прекрасно вписался в мои критерии и подарил не один вечер интересных приключений, в компании индонезийских монстров. Местами было ощущение дискомфорта, но все с лихвой покрывал интерес к изучению местных традиций.
По сюжету мы будем играть за охотника за паранормальным, которому на почту приходят разные городские легенды. В игре представлено 4 новеллы, в каждой из которых свой монстр. Играть мы будем не за самого охотника, а за разных людей, которые присылают нам истории.
The White Lady расскажет нам историю мстительного духа женщины, которая не может найти себе покоя, из-за того что ее разлучили с ее ребенком.
The Tied Corpse посвятит нас в тайны индонезийского обряда погребения и покажет всю важность правильной последовательности действий.
The Little Devil погрузит нас в тайны заброшенного дома, где давно поселились новые обитатели, которые не терпят соседства с человеком.
The Hungry Witch расскажет нам историю человеческой злобы, которая порождает монстров. Иногда зависть и ненависть привлекают к себе ужасные создания.
Все эти 4 новеллы не связаны между собой, поэтому проходить их можно в любом порядке. У каждой истории нет своего окончания и только благодаря нашим правильным действиям мы сможем спасти главных героев и привести их к счастливой жизни.
Геймплейно это самый настоящий хоррор-рогалик, где у каждой главы огромное количество концовок. Для примера, только у первой главы 35 вариантов развития сюжета, от смешных до самых страшных. Хронометраж у каждой новеллы небольшой, около полутора часов, но весь сок тут именно в подборе вариантов концовок. Каждая локация переполнена различными деталями, каждая из которых по-своему влияет на историю. Чтобы получить хорошую концовку, тут придется действительно попотеть.
За что я обожаю эту игру, так это за ее детализацию. Здесь каждая история основана на индонезийских городских легенадах и местных суевериях. Все локации игры с самого начала прокляты и чтобы человек смог выбраться из этой неприятной ситуации, ему следует выучить "правила хорошего тона", при обращении с духами. Каждому из них нужен свой индивидуальный подход и свои подношения. Здесь даже самая незначительная деталь может повлиять на исход ситуации. Увидели в доме валяющиеся на полке гвозди и хотите их убрать? Этого не стоит делать, так как это очень сильная защита от призрака. Окровавленные зубы, волосы, фрагменты костей? Многие духи не любят когда кто-то трогает их вещи. Поэтому ваш перфекционизм тут будет только помехой, ведь многие законы загробного мира и суеверия могут быть не понятны простым обывателям.
Здесь густая мрачная атмосфера, где ты буквально ощущаешь пыль и грязь сквозь монитор. В ушах будет стоять напряженный эмбиент и любой шорох или скрип половицы будут вызвать у нас паранойю. Ты действительно ощущаешь что рядом с тобой находится какое-то незримое зло и оно наблюдает за каждым нашим шагом. На первый взгляд кажется что это просто короткая скучая бродилка, где ничего не происходит, однако если вы уделите этой игре чуть больше своего времени, то обнаружите что не все так просто. После первого слепого прохождения я бы рекомендовал вам двигаться по гайдам, которые уже давно написали энтузиасты. Таким образом вы сможете прочувствовать все возможности этой игры и еще глубже погрузиться в мрачный мир духов Индонезии.
Вместе с игрой разработчики выпустили "GhostWiki" - книгу-энциклопедию по всему призрачному миру Индонезии. Помимо качественных иллюстраций прилагается подробная информация о том или ином призраке, включая его предпочтения, особенности и причины появления. Я залпом проглотил всю книгу и до сих пор держу ее под рукой, если отправляюсь путешествовать по индонезийским хоррорам. Тем кто играл в Dreadout или Home Sweet Home многие духи из справочника будут знакомы. Книгу можно приобрести в твердом переплете на иностранных торговых площадках, но если вас уже сейчас заинтересовала книга, то можно поискать ее электронный вариант в интернете, так как она бесплатно распространяется самими разработчиками. Pamali подарила мне совсем новые впечаления от хоррора. Да, весь геймплей тут это постоянное повторение одних и тех же действий, но большое обилие концовок с лихвой покрывает эти неудобства. Локации тут детально проработаны, а окружение внушает страх. Каждая новелла представит нам свою ситуацию, из которой нам предстоит найти выход и зрелище это довольно увлекательное. Pamali подарила мне путевку в загадочный мир духов Индонезии и научила местным правилам. Теперь если меня когда-нибудь занесет на эти земли, я буду чтить традиции и быть в курсе местных суеверий. Быть может однажды эти знания сыграют положительную роль в моей жизни.
