Othercide is a horror themed tactical turn-based game set in an esoteric world beyond our reality. The game will place the player in control of female warriors, in a desperate struggle to push back nightmarish creatures and prevent reality from shattering. Good game.

It is a strategy game, that have a good difficulty, it have a variaty of mechanics but it is easy to understand in a couple of hours. The story is really good builded with a narrative that benefits good from it, I would say that the game lacks from a better UI/UX and the last phases of the game are a bit repetitive but it was fun.

La verdad el juego es muy bueno. No sé de donde viene tanto h a t e cuando es bastante explícito con sus mecánicas y la forma en la que se juega. Lo cierto es que parece ser muy punitivo al comienzo pero con cada intento el juego se hace más fácil por diseño, pero lo realmente atractivo de este juego viene en sus mecánicas menos evidentes, como por ejemplo el de controlar el retroceso de tus personajes en la línea temporal para ordenar de manera efectiva sus acciones, o el asignar ciertos sacrificios para adquirir y o potenciar stats, o el de leer adecuadamente los movimientos y las habilidades del enemigo para planificar adecuadamente tus turnos, especialmente cuando se tiene (tu o el enemigo) habilidades de reacción y/o contraataque. Esas mecánicas son las que a mi parecer frustran a muchos pero es donde está lo genial de este juego y que por cierto son mecánicas sencillas de entender pero no de dominar sin cometer errores como el de perder valiosa salud sin motivo alguno XD. Adicionalmente a eso el juego es bastante benévolo al permitirte progresar de manera más o menos libre, lo que te permite explorar con diversas estrategias o grindear si así lo consideras necesario. Es un juego que apela a la paciencia, algo que no muchos jugadores tienen hoy en día. Excelente juego

Absolutely 10/10 experience.

The game itself, when compared to other similar games, does lose in aspects. However, the naration, voice, animation, bgm, theme(tone, the atmosphere it sets), gameplay... they are all mixed together sooooo well. THIS, is what makes the game 10/10. Example: (only have few classes to choose. Other games have more. So, strategy wise, much variation; Levels are not noticibly varied or randomized. For a roguelite, this weak.). But, do those make this game worse? NO!

Possibly the biggest thing of this game is the theme. Rarely I just dig right away from the start without playing the other game just to take a break to play the game again later. The sound of intensity is there, but the animation is not showing it. It displays will power to keep going even when body begs to stop. Faced with difficult obstacles only allow small error. Know it is actually possible to tear through them, so hope is always on sight. Such a beautiful blend of polarities. Helped with the voice acting to set it.

Story here is written in cryptic, with rather large gap between pieces of stories.

BGMs are... why are they not breaking into the mainstream?!

There is a little bug that happen often: when in combat, range, character, and enemies not highlighted. Simply close opened menu and keep pressing B and it is good. Less often, the camera would focus on the wrong character, not focusing the character that currently takes action. Also, I ever had the graphics driver crashed which I then just resetted the system. Then know later that the save got corrupted, "failed to load". It is fine. Can make a new save and create backup manually. But... my daughters..... :(

The game is incredible. I highly recommend it. Just remember this: DO NOT TURN ON "faster gameplay" IN OPTION! That excellent blend I mentioned is with unchanged speed. I felt huge shift in feeling with that thing turned on. But that is my experience. Also, if you are not sure if you are in the "correct mood" or whatever when booting this, just stay in main menu for 5 minutes then start.

- Занятная эстетика и стилистика: ч/б с красным, безнадёга и отчаяние, боль и страдание.
- Неплохой саундтрек, который блещет в битвах с боссами
- Интересная пошаговая механика, не копирка XCOM
- Роглайк элемент, который нужен только для того, чтобы привыкнуть к суровым боссам и попрокачивать (погриндить) подчиненных.

В целом, оставила приятное впечатление, хоть и подзадушила в конце - слишком длинный хронометраж для заложенного.

В целом игра хорошая. Из плюсов выделю очень классные саундтреки, они прям пушка бомба. Дизайн игры в целом мне тоже очень понравился. Сюжет интересный но только подается как то не очень.
И вот тут я перейду к минусам, которые ну ♥♥♥ могут быть весьма увесистыми для некоторых людей.
Все боссы кроме последнего просто убиваются одними дочерями душ без особых проблем, когда последний босс ебет тебя нещадно. Я честно хз как эту мразь убивать только если на удачу надеется. Или есть противники которые бесконечно сами на себя накидывают защиту и ты просто не можешь их убить (Стоит отметить что контрить можно просто надо подумать чутка)
Взял ее по внушительной скидке, поиграл с удовольствием не смотря на минусы.

I like games that make "same old" work via great story-telling. Gameplay wise you are not getting anything new or innovative, it is a standard grid map with turn-based combat managed by an action meter. Being limited to three classes is also limits depth. BUT! How the story unfolds and the universe you are in is amazing. Just creepy enough to hit the "horrors happened" of the nightmare scape without making it unplayable. May not be an old dog learning new tricks, but it is definitely one that has a fancy collar.

The core tactics with the timeline mechanic are implemented well. The fact that the player knows in advance what event can happen and at what moment, and can influence it, turns each battle into an interesting puzzle. In the battles themselves, problems mainly arise with the interface: it provides insufficient information. It is not always clear how much damage an attack will deal, whether the enemy has resistance to certain abilities, and the enemies’ abilities themselves are described недостаточно подробно (which also applies to many other minor game mechanics).

But the real problem of the game is its repetitiveness. Since it is a roguelite, some stages have to be replayed several times. Yes, taking into account meta-progression, it becomes easier each time, but this leads to situations where at certain moments you simply have to grind in order to slightly level up your characters or obtain passive bonuses for the next run.

The game is divided into days, and after a certain number of days, a boss appears; if you defeat it, you can skip all the days leading up to it on your next playthrough, which is nice, but it makes the whole roguelite system feel somewhat pointless. This is compounded by the monotony. Almost all missions are similar to each other and do not change between runs. Enemy variety is limited. In addition, there are only three classes in the game, and you will almost always level them along the same path, since some skills appear rather useless. No matter how good the core gameplay is, it becomes boring quickly.

Othercide is a decent game, but it suffers greatly from a lack of content and the underdevelopment of some roguelite mechanics. From an aesthetic point of view, the game is excellent: an unusual story, a stylish visual presentation, and a great soundtrack immediately attract attention. However, for a game of this genre, this is not enough.

Очень красивая, эстетичная игра с шикарным саундтреком. И игровой процесс - моё почтение. Я фанат пошаговых тактик, и здесь ни капли не разочарован. Пока не освоишься с линией инициативы - не раскусишь боевку. Все таки непривычно игнорировать врага за спиной, просто потому что ты знаешь, что он не успеет походить до твоего следующего хода. Это необычно, привык, что все ходят по очереди. Я готов рекомендовать это всем, кому нравится менеджмент своей боевой группы. Фанаты battle brothers, darkest dungeon, urtuk, xcom - всем сюда, тут очень круто!

RogueLike apresenta modo mais fácil para aqueles não acostumados. Permitindo recomeçar cada vez mais forte com bônus e lvls maiores, podendo reviver personagens de outras tentativas.
Mecânicas de combate de turno são divertidas e permitem combos impressionantes para aumentar o dano.
Muito bem feito, o preço deveria até ser maior pela qualidade.
Mais uma vez os indies surpeendem. Recomendo demais o jogo. Isso vindo de alguém que tem dificuldades com rogue likes por não gostar que seus personagens morram.

So when this came out, I recall it getting a pretty poor reception, I bought it on sale and left it in my backlog for like four years before trying it out. Kind of a shame.

Without looking too much into the development of the game and how they handled things, I can guess that they released the game with just the Nightmare mode. I can imagine the game is extremely grindy and frustrating when you don't have the ability to heal except by killing your other daughters of the same or higher level. On the other mode, I only had to go through four Recollections to win and 100% it (plus starting a new game and playing for ten minutes for the achievements I missed), and that felt like a perfect length for a fun tactical game.

There are still a few bugs, six years later. There's a melee unit that will randomly decide it's ranged, when Corrupted Daughters spawn the camera tends to not jump to them until they actually move, and there were a few instances of me thinking, wtf just happened? But regardless of whatever other people are saying about it, the game runs and plays very smoothly, and in 2026 I'd highly recommend picking it up. Right now it's on sale for 90% off, but it's worth full price. If you're a fan of XCOM-style tactical games, definitely pick this up.

Отличная тактика, но я не понимаю зачем нужна легкая сложность. На оригинале игра почувствовалась только на финальном боссе и то на 1 трай. Дизайн и геймплей отличный, а те кто наныли на сложность просто казуалы без извилин чтобы посчитать простейшие цифорки и сложить логическую цепочку со скиллами.

The graphics and music are very good.
The story is… "cryptic".

The gameplay is frustrating. The sacrifice mechanic feels more frustrating than interesting.
There aren’t many playable characters, classes, or skills to choose from, but there is definitely a lot of grinding to level up the sisters again and again.

In the end, after the first two hours, I wasn’t really hooked and didn’t feel like coming back to the game.
It’s not a big deal since I bought it for 3 euros during a Steam sale, but it’s clearly not my cup of tea.

Best thing about the game is how it's elegant art direction compliments it's tactical rougelike gameplay. The difficulty is brutal at the start and pushes you to sacrifice units. However, some that brutality comes from pure trial and error. The UI doesn't communicate some of your stat changes, durations or enemy attack patterns. When you figure out the mechanics the gameplay don't get much deeper, but I still enjoyed the narrative and evolving my units. Wait for a sale, I paid $3 for this.

TLDR: Really enjoyable, balanced, short TBT that will force you to play with a different mentality than ones like XCOM, FF tactics, fire emblem, or the plethora of similar games.

A well balanced turn based tactics that doesn't bog you down with a new weapons, different armor, with incrementally bigger numbers after every encounter. The gameplay punishes your characters, frustrating you until you start treating them as expendable. This is part of the narrative, and it is amazingly well done. Being forced to play this way, although frustrating in the beginning, is almost a relief compared to how I normally play games like this; save scumming if even a single member of my party dies for fear of missing any narrative element and having to start a new play through from scratch to get the whole story. failure is part of the game, but less punishing than the "run-back" of games with similar themes. You cannot win in the first round or the second or third; early on the enemies feel overpowering, but every time you reset you are stronger and you know more. Skills you found useful early on become less so as you progress, forcing you to experiment with the different skills each class unlocks and the memories that enhance the usefulness.

Eventually you unlock memories that allow you to synergize your daughters to the point of being able to wipe entire encounters while barely moving, but that is only after you have pretty much beat the final boss. All the way through the game you can really feel the usefulness of each class and how they shape the fight, unlike a lot of games where it is clear from the beginning some classes are more or less useless and other are OP (A certain Reaper skill at lvl 15 being the one exception that breaks all balance if stacked with the right memories).

One of the few games I felt it was worth going back to the "flavor" text unlocks to read and understand the background. The game isn't perfect though; repetitive dialogue and constant annoying sounds during gameplay can be frustrating. Not having a toggle to speed up certain parts of gameplay (slow AF infested), instead having to go into the options every time. A few bugs, and if you look at boss skills using the interface, sometimes it freezes the reference AOE squares onto the battlefield out of context with no way to remove them; can crash frame-rate if you aren't careful. The game is much easier in Dream, than Nightmare obviously, but you don't have to play on Nightmare to unlock all the achievements. It would be a lot more arduous a grind if that were the case. Not having a way to heal daughters except through sacrifice is extremely taxing in nightmare, so I don't recommend it until you understand the mechanics and pacing of the encounters and remembrances. But again, this plays into the narrative well once you understand what is happening. Honestly surprised I found it so late after it was released.

가장 먼저 기억해야할 부분은, 내 딸이 사망 시 묘지로 이장처리되는데 한 주를 보내고

(이 게임은 다회차 느낌을 로그라이크 방식으로 풀어냄과 동시에 턴제 RPG느낌을 섞었다)

즉, 이 게임은 필연적인 패배를 통해 경험치를 쌓고 레벨링을 해서, 묘지 속의 내 딸을 살려내 다시금 게임을 이끌어나가는 방식이다.

물론 살려내기 위해선 환생 코인이라는 게 필요한데 아래의 방식을 통해 얻을 수 있다.

조건부로 특성을 얻을 수 있는데, 한 번 붙은 특성은 묘지로 가더라도 유지되기 때문에 검의 달인 2명의 특성은 제대로 얻고 가는 것이 좋다. 대부분은 MVP 느낌으로 활약한 케릭터에게 주어지는 특성이 많지만 레벨별 조건부로 얻을 수 있는 필수특성이 있다.

0. 1레벨 첫 퀘스트에서 가장 많은 딜량 달성 시 얻는 공격적 (+50피해)
1. 1~5레벨 사이 '구조'퀘스트 성공 시 확률적으로 얻는 지략 (+10AP)
2. 6~10레벨일 때 '의식' 임무 성공 시 확률적으로 얻는 의지 꺾임 (+20% 데미지, -10 지연)
- 나머지도 나무위키를 통해 체크하면 되는데 해보니까 천재는 그 조건이 아닌거 같다.
나머지는 주로 플레이하면서 자연적으로 얻어지기 때문에 이 3가지만 꼭 가져가자.

타 캐릭터 '희생'으로 얻는 특성은 레벨이 높을수록 각 직업에 맞게 케릭터에게 녹여주는데 우리에게 희생으로 필요한 건 단 하나, '낫의 무희'를 12렙 이상 키워서 다른 딸들에게 먹이는 거다.
낫의 무희 희생 특성이 턴지연을 대폭 줄여주기 때문에 나중에 알아가겠지만 사기치는 보스들과 불합리하게 어려운 스테이지를 깨기 위해서 우리도 사기를 쳐야하기 때문에 필수이다.

[h3] 3. 다회차 강요 [/h3]
한 대만 맞아도 빈사, 두 대 맞으면 무덤행 확률이 높다는 점.
보스의 경우에는 한 대만 맞아도 바로 죽는 경우가 다반사라 죽고 강해져서 오라고 강요한다.

* 불합리한 상대의 높은 공격력에 대항하라고 '반응'형 스킬이 있는데, 대표적인 것이 시작부터 달려있는 영혼사수의 '차단 탄환'이다. 적의 공격 '1'회를 '완전히' 차단시키며 공격까지 해준다. 이 게임의 핵심 킥 포인트는 이 '반응'형 스킬에 있다고 봐도 무방하다. 한대 맞으면 절반 이상 까질 거 10% 체력 리스크로 차단시켜주고 공격까지 해주는 혜자스킬.

또한, 다행히도 이 게임은 턴제기 때문에 상대의 행동 패턴을 파악하고 한 수 앞을 생각해 행동한다면 안맞고 클리어하는 것이 가능하지만 이 걸 모든 시냅스에서 해내는 건 거의 불가능에 가깝다.

그래서 전략적인 플레이가 필수인데, 상대의 행동력을 이동에 최대한 소모시키고 다가온 적에게 턴이 넘어가기 전에 선행동으로 상대를 죽이는 방식을 기본으로 하고 처음 태어나거나 첫 턴에는 왠만한 적들은 딱 붙어 있지않는 이상 먼저 공격하지 않는 점을 이용해야 한다. 불합리하게 강한 적이 나타났을 때는 패배 후 [u] 좋은 추모를 장착하고 레벨링, 특성작 된 딸을 함께하며 다시 나아가야 한다는 것이다. [/u]

패배가 강요되기에, 이것이 도전 욕구를 불러일으킬지 혹은 스트레스를 유발할지는 개인에 따라 다르기 때문에 본인이 어디에 초점을 두고 게임을 즐기고 있는지를 잘 파악하고 구입하기를 바란다.

[h3] 4. 퀘스트 방식 짧팁 [/h3]

[b] 구조 [/b] - 밝은 영혼과 함께 전진 방식으로 빠르게 진행해야 한다.
1. 왜냐하면, 지체할 시 시작 라인에 몬스터 생성되기 때문이다.
2. 그렇다고 밝은 영혼을 너무 빨리 보내면, 밝은 영혼이 특정 위치를 지나갈 때,
랜덤 전진 위치에 상대 몬스터가 우리 행동보다 빠르게 리스폰되기 때문에 함께 전열 이동하는걸 추천함.

[b] 생존 [/b] - 중앙 위치 사수, 행동력(AP) 50 이하로 떨어지지 않게 관리하다 루트 확인 후 탈출
1. 무덤에서 태어나는 얘들이 행동력이 빠른 경우가 다수인데다 리스폰 위치는 랜덤이기도 해서 리스폰 위치가 재수없게 걸리면 나를 먼저 때리는 경우가 더러 있기 때문에 관리가 필수
2. 영혼사수로 원턴킬이 나온다는 전제에서 너무 나가지 않는다면 좀 더 행동해도 무관하나 탈출 루트가 100AP이하로 남았을 때는 더욱이 유의해야함.
3. 탈출 루트가 밝혀지고 나서는 상대 리스폰이 상당히 빨라지기 때문에 행동력 관리 못하면 전멸로 이어짐.

[b] 속죄 [/b] - 딸 1유닛 당 n킬 시 자동 탈출되는 방식.
* 강한 적은 한 번에 게이지를 꽉 채워줘서 탈출시키기도 함
1. 단타가 약한 거너가 합류 시 거너 탈출을 최우선으로 하고 단타가 약한 검사를 마지막으로
2. 위와 같이 하되 2킬 균등 분배 후 행동력 계산해서 다같이 한번에 탈출하는 걸 추천함
3. 체력이 많거나 단타가 너무 강한 딸의 경우 계산을 잘 해야하니 조심하길
4. '반응'스킬로 인한 킬로그도 킬 수로 포함시키니 변수 계산 (영혼사수의 차단탄환)

[b] 기억 [/b] : 스킬창을 키면 각 오른쪽에 빈칸이 있고, 각 스킬을 누르면 '기억'을 장착할 수 있다.
- 스킬을 강화하는 것을 '기억'이라고 한다. 이건 추모를 통해 얻거나, 사냥을 통해 얻을 수 있고 소모식으로 사용되기 때문에 사용하고 나면 확정적으로 원하는 걸 얻을 방법은 없다고 보면 된다.

[b] 1) 외과 의사 [/b]
- 추천 파티 유형 : 1 검의 달인, 1 영혼사수, 1 방패사수 or 2 검의 달인, 1 영혼사수
- 간호사를 빠르게 처치하되 본인의 마지막 턴에 처치 시 바로 페이즈가 넘어가므로 마지막 턴에 1마리가 남는다면 가급적 남기고 AP 관리 및 주의해서 진행하자
- 방어력 버프를 두 번 받아 1000 정도되면 검의 달인도 딜넣기 힘들어지므로 방어력 1000 이상 때는 의사 공격에 AP를 낭비하지 말자
- 간호사 처치 후 페이즈 넘어가면 AP 50 이하로 떨어지지 않게 관리하며 상대하되 이번 턴에 원턴킬이 나올 각이 보이면 전체적으로 모두 사용해주면 된다

[b] 2) 집사 [/b]
- 추천 파티 유형 : 3 검의 달인, 1 영혼사수 or 2 검의 달인 2 영혼사수
- 속박 플레이를 진행하므로 첫 턴에 빠르게 접근하는 것을 우선시 하되, 피 50% 깎은 이후 집사가 범위 공격과 함께 본인 체력이 일정 이상 깎일때마다 2칸씩 밀어내는 공격을 강행하므로 밀려나도 괜찮은 구석진 지형으로 집사가 오도록 만드는 것이 가장 쉬운 방법이다.
- 검의 달인의 경우 측면회피 혹은 번개타격으로 속박에서 벗어날 수 있으므로 이점이 많다.
- 순간 폭딜로 대부분의 체력을 깎을 수 있는 상황이라면 범위기가 끝날때까지 끈질기게 붙어서 맞딜하면서 패면 범위 공격을 거두고 우선 행동을 강행하도록 만들면 된다.
- 체력이 얼마 안남았을 때 가장 멀리있는 딸에게 순간이동하여 강한 공격을 우선행동하므로 최대한 모든 딸이 서로가 멀어지지않게 하자
- 마지막 방법은 2 영혼사수 혹은 방패 기사까지 반응 스킬을 배우도록 한 후 2번 공격을 차단시키면 집사가 마지막 딸 행동 후 우선 행동을 강행해서 밀치기 + 행동하더라도 범위공격 데미지를 모두 차단하는 것이 가능하다
(영혼 사수는 차단 탄환이 범위가 10이므로 범위 공격 밖에서 집사의 범위 공격을 차단시킬 수 있다)
- 차단시키지 않는다면 범위 공격 데미지가 1000에 육박하므로 빈사 상태를 피할 수 없다.
- 렙이 높아지면 3 검의 달인으로 셋다 붙어서 반응스킬(위협) 쓰고 패면 2턴에 잡아진다..

[b] 3) 하녀 [/b]
- 추천 파티 유형 : 2 검의 달인, 2 영혼사수
- 행동이 빠르고, 다회 행동하며, 일정 체력 까질때마다 본인의 행동을 최우선으로 당긴다. 즉, 체력이 일정량 빠지는 순간 마지막 타를 때린 딸의 바로 뒷행동으로 온다는 거다.
- 이러한 불합리함을 벗어나기 위해 이제 '턴밀'작업을 시작해야 한다.
- 영혼사수의 그림자탄환과 차단탄환에 기억효과인 '턴 밀기'를 박아넣고 최대한 이동한 뒤 두 가지를 모두 켜두고 검의 달인으로 다가가 반응 '위협'과 함께 극딜을 다회 박아넣으면 '턴 밀기' 스킬로 인해 바로 뒤에 행동하던 하녀의 턴이 점점 밀려나는 걸 볼 수 있다.
- 하녀 보스 부터는 이 턴밀 작업이 반필수적이며 하녀가 연습용도라고 보면 된다.
- 턴밀과 함께 작업하는 것이 영혼사수의 턴 당기기인데, 영혼사수가 보조 서포터로 사용되기 시작한다. (영혼 가속)
- 이 턴밀과 턴 당기기 작업이 깔끔하게 들어가면 보스에게 턴을 주지 않고 계속 딸들의 턴이 지속되게만들고, 그로 인해 난이도가 많이 하락하게 된다. (사실 불합리함을 생각하면 필연적인 기술이다)
- 10레벨이 넘어가고 특성들을 잘 받은 검의 달인 둘과 그림자 탄환 + 위협 반응 추가딜이면 하녀도 2턴에 정리가능하다.

* 4장부터는 '창궐자'라는 몬스터가 우리와 유사하게 턴 버프 & 디버프를 걸기 시작한다.

[b] 4) 아이 [/b]
- 추천 파티 유형 : 2 검의 달인, 2 영혼사수
- 이쯤되면 검의 달인 공격력 세팅과 영혼사수 턴밀 세팅이 완료되었을 거임.
- 그림자 탄환과 차단 탄환에 모두 턴밀 세팅을 해두었고 검의 달인이 AP 특성작이 잘되있다면 1턴만에 다가가서 두 영혼사수의 그림자 탄환을 발동할 수 있도록 만들 수 있다.
- 그럼 상대 페이즈를 변경시키기도 전에 계속 턴을 밀어버려서 검의 달인으로 마구잡이로 패고 턴을 잡고 영혼사수가 턴을 잡아도 패서 다른 영혼사수의 그림자탄환을 발동시키고 검의 달인 위협 반응을 발동시키게 되면 턴밀 세팅이 끝났다는 전제 하에 연습하듯 쉽게 잡을 수 있다.
- 만약 실수나 AP작이 안되있어 상대 턴이 넘어갔다고 해도, 차단 탄환이 2번 발동되면 초중반 아이의 패턴을 모두 씹을 수 있고 장판은 그리 아프지 않다.
- 마지막 페이즈로 들어가면 도망치면서 마구잡이 장판을 깔기 때문에 측면회피에 방어 기억을 심어둔 검의 달인이야 처맞딜 한다 쳐도 영혼사수는 살리기 어려워지지만 처맞딜로 충분히 잡을 수 있는 보스이다.

[b] 5) 핵, 고통 [/b]
- 추천 파티 유형 : 3 검의 달인, 2 영혼사수
- 모든 세팅을 다 해도 실수 한 번이면 행동 우선권을 모두 빼앗겨서 유린당한다.
- 첫 보스인 핵은 그냥 호구인데, 고통이 급 난이도 상승의 주범이다. 이 녀석은 즉사기도 가지고 있고 가장 멀리 있는 딸과 위치교환하며 딜도 넣고, 범위기까지 갖고 있는데다 혼자 자기 턴이 되면 3번 이상 연속 행동하는 개사기꾼이다.
- 턴 밀림 저항도 상당해서, 여태까지 사기치던 방식이 잘 통하지 않지만 해내야 한다. 검의 달인과 영혼사수의 모든 반응스킬에 턴 밀림을 넣고, 영혼사수의 영혼가속으로 다음 턴 케릭터의 턴을 빠르게 당기고 상대의 턴은 밀면서 적한테 턴을 주지않아야만 하는데 이 녀석 어느 정도 피가 되면 페이즈가 바뀌면서 행동우선권을 또 강제로 가져가버린다.
- 그래서 체력도 어느 정도 고려하고 있다가, 마지막 타를 제외하고는 AP를 최대한 50 아래로 떨어지지 않게하면서 상대의 턴이 타임라인 어느 위치에 있는지 시시각각 확인하면서 패서 사기란 사기는 총동원하여 이겨야하니, 골치아픈 보스다.
- AP 50 이상 관리만 잘해주면 영혼사수의 영혼가속으로 다음 턴에 어떤 케릭터든 고통 보스보다 더 빠른 턴을 잡을 수가 있으니 유의 및 계산해서 다음 턴 케릭터에게 영혼가속써주고 공격하고 반응 스킬 써주고 턴넘기고, 공격하고 반응 스킬 써주고 턴 넘기고 반복하면 깨진다.
- 특성작을 잘하고 올라왔다면 좀 더 난이도가 쉽다. 데미지가 상당하기 때문이다.
- 무엇보다 영혼사수의 15레벨 모든 딸 데미지 2배로 만드는 사기 버프는 꼭 챙겨가기를 바란다.
(이 사기 버프에도 영혼가속처럼 턴당기기 기억을 박을 수 있으니 꼭 박아주기)
- 처음에도 적었지만 모든 특성, 기억, 추모작이 다 끝났다면 고통이 나오는 위치에 미리 자리잡고 반응스킬 다 써놓고 대기하고 마지막 딸 핵 막타치고 고통쪽으로 진입해서 딜찍누할 수 있다. 작업이 다 끝났다는 전제하에 딸들도 피통이 꽤 되기때문에 2-3턴 정도는 맞아줄만하다.

本作给人的第一印象非常深，白、红、黑三种元素构成的整体视觉风格极其鲜明。但严格来说画质本身并不算高，建模精度和场景复杂度甚至只能算中等偏下。但仅有三种颜色构成的极端统一的艺术风格把技术层面的不足完全遮盖住了。红色的血液在黑白的世界里炸开，配合阴沉的光影和稍显诡异的宗教氛围，整体美术辨识度极高。可以说哪怕对玩法不满意的人，基本也都会承认本作的美术是成功的。

音乐也同样是本作的强项。主界面和BOSS战的BGM都非常燃，甚至燃到有点过头的程度了。有时候战斗本身的紧张感还没到哪个级别，但音乐鼓点频率和人声紧张感一下就上去了，直接进入高潮...我通关之后专门去找了OST，现在偶尔还会单独拿出来听。但相较于优秀的音乐，音效则非常一般，比如怪物受击和魂女攻击音效都软绵绵的，缺乏厚重感，战斗手感非常一般。

剧情方面我的评价只有两个字：抽象。文字和语音都神神叨叨的，宗教和神学味道很浓。我虽然全程CG都没跳过，但基本只能算是“看完了”，懂是一点没懂。不过，既然是款战旗游戏，只要核心玩法到位，剧情晦涩点我完全能接受。

本作大致可以被看作是款“肉鸽式战旗”，但这个“肉鸽”多少得加个引号。它确实有局外成长、失败后重开的循环结构，也有随机地图的机制。但地图本身却不是完全程序随机生成的。地图来自固定的地图库，只是每局从中抽取，怪物布局和波次在同一张图里都是固定的。甚至不同怪物的行动逻辑在游戏的辞典里都会明明白白的写出来，比如“优先攻击最远的、血量最低的魂女”。只要你只要进行一样的操作，几乎可以复刻一整个对局（除了一些完全随机的闪避）。打得多了多少会感觉到重复，总地图数量大概几十张左右。

战旗玩法的核心之一是”用死亡换成长“。每轮能拿的资源有限，白板开局绝对不可能通关，必须通过多轮失败逐步解锁回忆（局外成长）、强化角色，才能真正通关。因为角色会频繁死亡，想要回血就必须献祭一个队友，所以有人会拿本作跟《暗黑地牢》对比，但两者的硬核程度完全不在一个层级。首先，单位不是永久死亡的，可以通过刷复活币从墓地复活，越来越强。再加上局外成长可以提供增伤、加血和行动点增加等BUFF，可以说只要玩的轮数过多，不存在通不了关的情况（甚至游戏还有低难度模式，可以自动回血，难度更是腰斩）。前期练两队人（推荐至少练两个主力魂使），一队主力，一队作为资源，用来献祭给主力叠BUFF和回血。后期解锁镰刀舞者后，肝到15级满级可以解锁全图AOE技能。配合魂使15级解锁的无视距离的伤害增益技能，再挂上提前15行动点的记忆，直接站桩就能无伤清场。我大概打了6轮才通关，如果再极限一点，5轮估计就能通。

玩法另一个核心是时间轴系统。敌我双方按照时间轴顺序行动，每个单位每回合拥有100行动点。如果消耗不超过50点，下一回合会排在时间轴中段；一旦超过50点触发“爆发”，下一回合就会落到时间轴尾端，角色可能就会因为不能动被敌人连打两轮，推荐只有确定”爆发“后是安全的才能用。因为血量并不容易回复，如何控制行动点、避免被连打、通过走位卡极限距离让敌方快速减员，从而实现无损过关就是整个战斗的核心思路。理论上玩法深度可以很高。

但问题在于，敌人种类有限，后期就是把前期的敌人换个皮再加强了一遍，地图数量也是固定的，轮次打多了就大概率会玩到重复的。除了前期因为资源有限稍微有点难熬外，后期套路成型后，战术变化空间也不大，基本变成碾压，玩法整体深度确实有限。

综合来看，本作更像是一款非常”风格化“的作品。美术极具辨识度，音乐非常出彩，时间轴和伪肉鸽框架也有一定新意。缺点在于打击感一般、剧情晦涩难懂、关卡和敌人重复度偏高，以及后期强度失衡。虽无法面面俱到，但长板一定很长，绝对能让你留下深刻印象，其实也就是一款典型的”独立游戏“。整体可玩性可以说还不错，推荐喜欢本作美术风格的战旗爱好者尝试。

The game was fun until I was unable to calculate the damage to finish off enemies, looked it up to see if it was me who was doing something wrong and it turns out that the way armor works is bugged, such a shame, specially considering it being a fundamental part of the gameplay.

I could just keep it in mind and play around the bug but I'm demotivated already, my daughters died because of uncaring devs.

The game has been out for almost 6 years already... they even have another game under development, won't support.

Great XCOM-like tactics with amazing presentation - everything from the music and art design to the missions and bosses is top-notch. But there is a big BUT.

The game presents itself as a grim, hardcore experience where you'll fail and die a lot. It even includes an easy mode, which implies the base difficulty is already brutal. But the game is lying. In reality, it's a very easy roguelite. You grow stronger passively, and failures have no downsides or lost progress. In fact, you'll become stronger simply by restarting your run a few times.

The game warns you that your units will die very often. That's true, because there is a cool design choice: it's impossible to heal your characters, so you're expected to avoid all damage. But guess what? It’s so easy to revive them with all their stats and abilities intact that you'll often kill them on purpose just to restore health or sacrifice them to grow your other characters.

I'm looking forward for Ex Sanguis (the next game from the same developers) but I hope these guys know how to learn from their mistakes.

First of all: the UI is a piece of s##t.
The game doesn't tell you anything, it's incredibly hard and frustrating to learn what happens and why, there's a lot of trial and error involved... which wouldn't be that bad if the game wasn't a f### roguelike, where each error costs you dearly.

With that out of the way, the music is great, the artstyle is awesome, the story is intriguing.
Once you painfully figure out how the game works, you will find one of the deepest and most satisfying tactical combat systems ever.
The way it is handling unit initiative is just groundbreaking.

I'm looking forward to their next project.
I just HOPE they will improve how the game communicates with the player.

Awesome and unique art style and atmosphere.
Hard at first, but gets easier as your daughters level up.

But the most important thing ... the soundtrack of the very first boss is A BLAST!!
Why such epic music just for the first boss, I don't get it but ehh doesn't matter, I'm still listening to it!

大概可以打个7-7.5/10，算是比较有特点的一款atb战棋类游戏
特点是配件（记忆）的搭配和技能的选择，以及独特的视觉设计；缺点则是数值平衡，以及不少“凑数”的配件和技能
值得一提的优点：灵女的损毁细节，这个确实做的很细。与之对比的血浆则感觉有些泛滥
角色平衡是比较大的问题，四种灵女里面剑和枪是绝对的强势，而本意为“盾”的盾女毫无存在感，镰也没有什么实用价值，毕竟本质上是一款战棋游戏，移动距离/行动回合是最有战略价值的属性，这两个分别被剑和枪占用了，更何况剑的输出和枪的辅助已经是互相配合的很好，另外两个强行安排上之后只感觉到拖后腿
另外，技能的选择有一些可取之处，但因为配件极大的不平衡性，使得相当数量的技能没有太多选择的必要，800护甲强度超过一切其他（就是它使得盾女毫无必要），100穿甲则是完全替代了镰的作用，15行动点+高额度追加伤害+60%增伤的存在则是枪强大的基础
另外提一嘴天赋，即使打完了也不知道到底是按什么规律加的天赋，只察觉到惨胜只会获得较差的天赋，完胜并不会获得更好的结果，这一块明明是可以大幅度提高游戏乐趣的
总的来说，可以一玩，但深度不是很够

Итак, я закрыл все достижения пару минут назад. Не могу сказать, что я большой как-то серьезно погружен в пошаговые тактики, но опыт во всяких стратегиях/тактиках аля Герои, Дескиплес или что-то в духе Мутант Зиро Довн имеется.
+Графический стиль:
Сразу бросается в глаза эдакий нуарная стилизация, которая возможно у некоторых будет ассоциироваться с Городом Грехов.
Есть некоторая кастомизация девочек. Конечно вайфу не соберете, я лично туда залез пару лез просто из любопытства, но для кого то это тоже будет плюс.
Это бросается в глаза не сразу, но у девочек есть "шарфы" которые развиваются на "ветру". Они служат индикатором здоровья: при полном здоровье красные, при потере белеют Вроде бы не значительное дополнение, но на стиль играет.
Красивые анимации в целом и отдельные анимации при добивании в спину.
Дизайн монстров: они развиваются с сменой эпох, так же меняются их способности. Вроде бы фактически у нас 5-6 вариантов монстров и их развитие, + боссы, но под каждого надо подстраиваться.
+Музыка и аудио сопровождение:
Есть пара треков с вокалом, в меню и на боссах. Слушаются с удовольствием. Уверен, что многие не пожалеют денег и докупят саунтрек отдельно. Звуки стрельбы, ударов, смертей дочерей и монстров приятные и не надоедают.
+Геймплей:
Есть разнообразие в билдостроении и подбору партии для выхода на задание.
Есть мгновенные действия, отложенные, реакции и прерывания, удары в одну цель и по площади, маневры по перемещению. Подход к ведению боя можно построить совершенно разными способами.
Есть разные типы заданий: выживание по таймеру, спасение, зачистка территории, прерывание ритуала и бои с боссом.
Элемент рогалика - постепенно открываются улучшения, возможность с первых этапов использовать более сильных дочерей и т.п.

+- История в записках. Есть вы хотите погрузиться в историю и понять что вообще происходит - придется очень много читать. Записки открываются не в хронологическом порядке, по этому общая картина у вас сложится только после полного прохождения. Лично мне было мало интересно и в итоге я забил после прочтения пары записок.

- Карт маловато. Штук 5-7, плюс карты где сражаемся с боссами. Монстры появляются в одних и тех же местах, по этому если вы завалил прохождение миссии, то уже знаете, куда будет удачнее поставить дочерей.

Вывод: я безусловно получил удовольствие при прохождении этой игры. Это качественная инди тактика, с замечательным визуальным стилем, музыкой и приятным геймплеем. По времени не затянута, чтобы успеть наскучить мастерам тактики, но даст достаточно челенджа любителям. Своих денег однозначно стоит, а если купите по скидке на распродажах за рубле 500, тогда однозначно не пожалеете.

Fazia ANOS que eu não me estressava tanto num game SINGLEPLAYER;
TUDO, ABSOLUTAMENTE TUDO em Othercide é feito pra te FRUSTRAR.

NÃO TEM revive, NÃO REGENERA vida, os inimigos estão em maior número e ainda assim tem MAIS MOVIMENTOS por jogada. Só tem 4 classes nessa porcaria.

Chega um ponto do jogo que você entra na missão com 4 personagens nível 13, e o jogo te coloca contra uns 12 inimigos IDENTICOS A VOCÊ, mas NIVEL 15 e com MAIS MOVIMENTOS. qual sentido????

"ah, mas o boss deve ter alguma compensação nesse boss com certeza!" Meu amigo, se você procurar gente matando o boss final no YT, só vai encontrar CRACUDO que fez BUILD PODRE SÓ PENSADA pro boss final.

O jogo é bonito, tem ideias boas, mas é TOTALMENTE desequilibrado, e o pior: é assim de propósito.

Eu não recomendo esse jogo NEM PRO MEU PIOR INIMIGO e espero PROFUNDAMENTE que esse jogo SUMA DA STEAM pra ninguém mais tocar nele.

Vine buscando rocas y encontre ORO! Este juego lo compre en unas rebajas, lo vi y dije "¿Por que no?" Sinceramente, no tenia idea de donde me estaba metiendo, al principio lo probe y no entendi nada, pero al llegar al primer jefe... OOF! ESE SOUNDTRACK! ESAS ANIMACIONES! OOF! Ahi me comenzo a enganchar de verdad, segui jugado y jugando.

El gameplay me atrapo, puede parecer complejo si, pero es facil de entender una vez le agarras la mano. Los jefes son desafiantes y requieren estrateguias para poder matarlos, no son simplemente spamear comandos con tus hijas y esperar a que se mueran, algunos de ellos son un DOLOR DE HUEVOS, otros son re divertidos de pelear, aunque he de decir, que el jefe FINAL ES UN HIJO DE SU MADRE! Es mejor intentar matarlo lo mas rapido posible, por que sino la vas a pasar re mal, de 5 hijas, solo 3 terminaron sobreviviendo a la batalla final.

Nada un juegazo, la historia no entendi NADA JSJSJS no preste atención, estaba mas atrapado en el gameplay y mecanicas, pero tiene un lore, se nota que intenta construir algo y no es pelear x pelear, hay un lore muy bueno detras, estoy seguro.

Nada, mi top 3 de mejores jefes:
1- El Cirugano.
2- El Infante.
3- La Doncella.

Un gioco ispirato al genere xcom, molto carino devo dire.
L'ho preso per 2 euro e mi ha regalato tante, ma tante ore di divertimento e antistress.
Non saprei se lo comprerei a prezzo pieno devo essere onesto... Ci sono TANTI, ma tanto giochi belli e molto meglio bene fatti (Vedi Xcom stesso), ma quando è in offerta, devo dire ci sta tutto.

E' un rogue like un po' creepy, dalla narrativa (i diari) abbastanza intrigante, non l'avrei detto ad esser onesto.
Prederete mazzate sui denti per un po' se non stare attenti... Ma se giocate e programmate bene le vostre azioni, è un gioco che regala soddisfazioni: potrete oscillare fra il venire brutalmente uccisi al non prendere praticamente alcun danno dai boss stessi.

MOLTO soddisfacente per queste meccanica!

Would like to like this game but i can't.
Is it a bug? Is the bad UI? Who knows!
I spend more time trying to understand if what is happening in the game is legit or not than playing the game.
The gameplay mechanics are enough punishing as is.
Bugs at the end of a difficult mission and the frustrations of the unreliable UI brake the game for me.

Also the translation in italian is misleading at best.

Way better than expected - 8/10

Could easily be a 9/10 if they fix the annoying bugs, like a frozen cutscene during 3rd boss that forces you to restart the fight. Or not disappearing red marks on the ground after hovering over some enemy abilities which can be quite confusing if it covers the whole area.

C'est un super jeu au tour par tour avec une frise d'avancement des adversaires sur laquelle il est possible d'agir en retardant vos adversaires et en accélérant les membres de votre équipe. L'ambiance et la DA sont superbes, surtout pour les amateurs de gothique. Il faut plusieurs réminiscences (parties recommencées) pour venir à bout du 5ème boss. A chaque réminiscence, vous pouvez ressusciter vos personnages badass et booster vos équipiers avec les souvenances.

Если ты такой же любитель пошаговых тактических рогаликов и стратегий как и я, то....
Тут я собираюсь рассказать об этой игре все ее + и -

Игру я кстати прошел на все 100% за 75 часов - это 6 полных рефлексий с зачисткой всех уровней ((хотя ее можно и пройти быстрее(часов за 20) я просто наслаждался гемплеем по полной) а после я лишь пытался собрать супер солдат в команде итого и получилось = 125часов)

Чтож начнем с того что игра имеет неплохой и местами смутный сюжет о мраке, разрыве какого-то пространства, горе и отчаянии врагов в плане их мировоззрение и судьбы, там же еще и Так называемые "Избранные" что являются боссами и вся вот эта так называемая "нечисть" сражается С нами "Мать" во главе своих "Дочерей" ради того разорвать какую-то вуаль мироздания. А наша же сторона конфликта наоборот пытается удержать в "целостности" данную "ткань" - Да звучит интересно и интригующе, но по сюжету больше в принципе нечего и не рассказывается, лишь по репликам Боссов и заметкам можно что-то да и как-то понять или додумать точно так же и концовка.... Осталась достаточно недосказанной.
Ну да не суть игра не про сюжет как по мне а про гемплей!
Так вот что могу сказать про саму боёвку и игровые механики:
- Очень интересно организованно в игре, то, что все существа и даже ваши дочери, всегда имеют какой-то % разброс в статистиках, тоесть, у вас и у врагов может как быть больше здоровья или атаки у одного юнита по сравнению с другим таким же и на оборот с шкалой времени (иннициатива в линейном плане)
- В зависимости от эры будут менятся локации причем не только внешне но и в плане позиций и сложности а так же от (возможных модификаторов событий) хотя их не так уж и много все равно)
- Так же интерсена система прокачки у дочерей с каждым уровнем растут статистики и на 2, 5, 10, 15 уровнях открываются новые навыки всегда 2 на выбор (у каждого класса дочери свои) - благодаря чему можно делать множественные и разнообразные команды. И их еще можно усиливать разными Памятками - это такие мини улучшение которые дают небольшие + для тактических маневров.
- Боссы - это ключевые враги-монстры в сражении с которыми есть лишь 2 исхода победа или смерть, причем смерть буквально рестартить весь забег по новой.
Ну дасканально игру небуду описывать чтоб не убивать интерес в ее познании.... ну а точнее можете сами в игре все узнать и разведать.

+ в Игре следующие:
Чем быстрее и чаще ты ходишь тем лучше будет результат боя для тебя так как в игре скорость главный фактор.
В игре есть несколько базовых статистик Броня.. атака.. здоровье и т.д. но так же есть и новые параметры что не встречались мне ранее такие как % шанс сброса инициативы, бонус урона для всех атак, окаменение блок врага в ту или иную сторону. Из-за этих элементов игра выглядет новой по сравнению с другими похожими по жанру играми.
Разные особенности дочерей при прохождении боя (там примерно 45 особенностей в итоге и все получить на 1 дочери нельзя).

Ну этот список можно было бы и более досканально расписать но там слишком ного заметок поэтому перейдем к минусам которых не сильно то и много но все же есть.

- в игре следующие:
Враги при спавне(если не стоять рядом с ними на соседней клетке) всегда только ходят буквально все но зараженному и пораженному на это почему то плевать из-за чего вы можете всегда словить случайную плюху на -инициативу и броню в лицо и провалить тем самым бонус ветеранства для дочери
(и об этом негде кстати не сказано).
Иногда происходят небольшие проблемы с отображением врагов то Личинка может увеличиться моделькой на весь экран, то враги могут место того чтобы просто пройти по траектории начнут летать по всей карте кругами пока не дойдут до точки( а в игре каждая анимация непрерывна из-за чего можно потерять несколько минут на кружение 1 из врагов).
В игре дочери получают отметены на модельке как потертости за потерю здоровья но иногда даже без урона при получении уровня они могут получить эти потертости(их нельзя убрать) так как при повышении уровня здоровье может некоректно отобразиться типо 352\351 или 419\420 .

Ну да ладно это лишь мелочные проблемы связанные в основном с графической тематикой игры а не самим гемплеем.

Классы Дочерей:
1 Мечница - самая сильная дочь из всех имеет при правильной раскачке 150 од (что максимум в сравнении с другими) и так же у нее в развитии выбор либо бессмысленные как по мне стойки которые жрут 5-10% здоровья за применение либо буквально прыгать всячески по карте по врагам тем самым преодаливать пол карты в ход.
2 Щитовик - самая полезная против босов и жирных врагов так как ее атаки понижабт инициативу врагов максимум 140 од при полной раскачке но из минусов ее можно зделать по особеностям либо неплохого ддшника либо супер танка но без особого урона но с хорошей броней. в развитии имеет смешанную прокачку либо выбор из двух од способнойстей либо из 2 отнимающих % здоровье.
3 Пистолетчица - средняя по силе дочь 140 од при прокачке, идет по развитию либо в сплеш способности либо ускорение других дочерей по инициативе что неплохо для тактических маневров.
4 Жнец - самая как по мне слабейшая дочь ее полный потенциал 130 од и все навыки и способности либо разовые за ход так еще и дорогие по од и при этом всем она либо ходит либо атакует, как по мне в плане тактических боев самая слабая так как без ускорения Пистолетчицы буквально проигрывает всем врагам по шкале инициативы.

В общем мне игра понравилась по полной единственное что ее нереально мало, хотелось бы чтобы в игре было по больше чем 35 игровых дней и 6 боссов и 15 уровней дочерей с 2 навыками на выбор и 4 итоговыми классами.. Хотелось бы увидеть продолжение или по больше самого гемплея к примеру там 50 игровых дней 10 боссов 25 макс уровень дочерей с 3 навыками на выбор при повышении и может с 6 кассами для них же.. и кладбище тогда можно было бы расширить до 100 дочерей....

Жаль что нет пока что нечего подобного или продолжение так как игра после себя оставила необычайные положительные эмоции и поиграть в подобный шедевр хотелось бы еще и не одну сотню раз!

В общем мой Итоговый Рейтинг игры 32 мертвых 15-ти уровневых дочерей на кладбище из 32! всем кто не играл еще игра не сложная и очень интересная всем советую!!

Хороший визуал, неплохая музыка, сюжет весь в текстах не скажу что сильно понятный. Своеобразная система по которой при поражении нужно начинать всё заново. Игра нишевая, но мне понравилась, хотя я так и не побил финального босса. Если вам нравятся пошаговые игры то по скидке смело берите, мне после Night Reign очень зашло.

Not very good at all.

Why you make a roguelike game where you have to restart over and over to get stronger each run when the runs can take so long. That type of structure only makes sense in games where each run in shortish like less than 5 hours tops. This isn't like that. Nope, instead enjoy 10-20 hour long runs each which you gotta do over and over to slowly power up so you have a slim chance at progressing. Just a flawed concept from the start,

Okay, so there's actually a good game in here. A lot of the negatives bashing it for core design decisions aren't really legitimate criticisms. But there's enough individual little flaws that add up that make it hard to recommend. I'm no stranger to "masochistic" games as I tend to enjoy games like Fear and Hunger or Iron Man X-COM.

In broad strokes the game is a combination of rogue-like and X-COM. You are expected to fail runs and start over with stronger buffs you can purchase for each run (i.e. Remembrances). These benefits include free resurrection tokens to bring back your strongest and favorite Daughters (basically your heroes) or starting at a later chapter in the game or being able to recruit new Daughters at a higher base level. So there's a progression system in place to make later runs easier.

There's lots of complaints about spending health or sacrificing your Daughters as health potions to your other Daughters and this is really over-stated. Games like Hades expect you to try and manage your health to get through a run. Some skills do cost hp, which sounds scary at first, until you recognize that using those skills prevent more damage than you'd lose on activating on the skill. Many of this skills tank damage, interrupt attacks or let you dps race bosses. So they'll outright prevent more hp loss or death than if you didn't use those skills.

I've had Shieldbearers just tank killer move after killer move from bosses and because hp-based skills only drain a % of current health, your Daughters can hold out for a long time. And this is all worthwhile if you beat a chapter since this unlocks a lot of the major milestone upgrades I mentioned above. That's a good time to reset the run since you can get a fresh start with all your new upgrades to play with.

There's also nifty management tricks like saccing a damaged higher level daughter to heal a lower level one and give them a substantial buff -- then rezzing your sacrificed daughter to bring her back to full hp. If you liked Darkest Dungeon, then there's a similar cutthroat HR management system in place here.

As you encounter enemies, codex entries open up explaining their behavior. One enemy will focus your backline and ignore your other daughters entirely. Others will target the closest daughter with the highest hp and so on. So as you learn the game you can somewhat reliably plan around the enemy AI. You learn to prioritize which targets you can focus or ignore.

Where the game gets really frustrating is that unless you save scum a lot, The UI doesn't always communicate how boss moves work or some weird edge-case AI behaviors. Sometimes melee enemies will move their full distance to touch a Daughter and not attack, and other times they will. Newly spawned enemies won't attack you right away. *Usually.* Unless they're specific types of ranged enemy. Or you're camping their spawn. You don't learn without experiencing this.

There's a bug which curses some runs. This bug causes melee enemies to randomly hit you in from across the map. Which wasn't quite enough to ruin my runs and progress to another chapter. But man, it's frustrating that devs haven't fixed this one yet.

The UI in generally contributes to the game being unreadable. Bosses and other enemies have reaction moves or special states they enter on trigger conditions. The Deacon boss is a notorious example of this and I had to save scum the mission repeatedly to learn his pattern. I'd really like it if there were better tooltips, some aggro indicators highlighting enemy intent and the ability to read the enemy codex in combat, especially as this game tends to lean more toward being a more pure "chess-like" strategy game. You really want to take your time planning out your moves. And man, it's not fun restarting the same mission a dozen times to try and figure all this out.

In addition, scrolling the map and trying to examine enemies for their move range and turn order is a pain in the ass because most of the game just uses red highlights and greyscale for everything and the scroll speed is so dang slow. Enemies also don't highlight in red on the turn order timeline when you pan over them. And the UI can get "sticky" making it hard to cancel out of examining enemies, input commands or pan back to your active daughter without accidentally inputting a move you don't want her to make. There's just generally this clunky feel about everything.

All-in-all all the friction from these minor issues just add up to get in the way a game which I'd otherwise enjoy for its challenge. It's legitimately addicting once you really get into it. There's not enough straws on the camel's back to break the entire experience, but it's damn near close.

That said, I got the game on sale for $3, so I can't complain. I'd really recommend the devs to work on the polish and improving readability and signalling.

Overall Othercide is great. Beautiful art style and soundtrack. The more you progress, the more difficult the game becomes, but you also unlock permanent buffs for yourself to make your life easier. Difficulty increase isn't just making enemy stats scale up, it causes more enemy type to spawn and their attacks get modified, so you'll have to adjust your play style. All Daughters' abilities feel useful in some way or another, and they will interact with each other if you play smart.

People who complain about the game being too hard are too lazy to think for a couple of minutes to decide on the best chain of actions to execute. You can't finish this game using only base attacks my dudes. You will fail, but it's not the end.

My only gripe is that bosses like to repeat their voice lines for almost every action you do.

Puede resultar un poco complejo adaptarse y sobrevivir al principio del juego, pero luego de un par de horas empiezas a agarrarle el ritmo. Pienso que es un juego muy atractivo artísticamente, bien pensado a nivel del desarrollo de la historia y las estrategias de combate. Definitivamente no es un juego típico ni aburrido, si te gusta un RPG surrealista, con una buena banda sonora y un toque de horror con fantasía oscura, pienso que debes darle una oportunidad a este juego. Mientras más juego, más me gusta.

go play something else that is actually balanced and not utterly broken. you will go from having OP fighters to getting absolutely slaughtered in a matter of no time. best feature is the art style and music, but the game is horrible. I'll go dust off XCOM2

遊戲氛圍、配樂、美術帶來的感覺非常好

總共五大關(5個BOSS)，每一關有七天需要度過。每一天會有1~數個任務可以進行，並且拿到資源、經驗值強化我方單位。
每天至少要完成一個任務才能進行下一天。當在BOSS關失敗或是選擇消失後就需要重新開始。

遊戲主要是由一些局外成長和前幾局死亡的單位來做為推進手段，每次重新開始時可以利用資源有限的復活以前的角色，所以
實際上你的角色不會永久死亡。
遊戲後面的BOSS基本上很大的程度懲罰近戰單位(反擊、中斷)，導致大多數我的配置都是遠距離比較多，不確定這樣的設計到底好不好。

這裡有幾個小提醒 :
* 每個種類的敵人行為是固定的，在介紹他們的頁面有詳細解釋，遇到之後可以看一下他們大概針對的目標是什麼，會對你的走位有很大的幫助。
* 遊戲裡面的"發動點數"個人覺得非常不直觀，其實他就等同於"增加速度"，遊戲下面那條時間線是遊戲的關鍵之一，另外最好每個角色有餘韻的時候不要把AP花到50點以下，會讓下次行動的延遲變成100
* 不要站在預定出生的敵人四周，他們會直接攻擊，一般進戰敵人誕生後只能夠移動
* 遊戲一開始大部分敵人的第一個動作都不會攻擊，可以大膽的走進他們的移動範圍，不要走進他們四周就好

我感覺遊戲的發想很不錯、看裡面介紹怪物和故事敘述的文檔可以發現實際上的想法是很好的，
不過我覺得執行面上就有點問題，像是遊戲內組隊、記憶(可以強化角色技能的道具)、等等標示和檢索的系統都讓人用起來卡卡的。也有許多視覺的隱性BUG，有遇到危險的地格位置標示錯誤、角色死亡後血條還在場上等。

遊戲距離發售也已經5年了，個人覺得是不錯的策略小品，建議打到5折後再看看

Боссы проваливаются под карты и не могут быть выбраны целью.
Ваш навык наносит 200 урона, вы вставили кристалл на +100 урона, теперь вы наносите 180 урона.
У боссов указаны навыки в описании, но они ими не пользуются, а пользуются другими, которые не указаны.
Противник использует бафф на +170 брони, вы бьете навыком на 300 урона и не пробиваете, потому что баг на х2 брони с баффов у врагов не починили с самого релиза.
Нет вообще никакого обучения, что значат некоторые параметры. Узнать, что они значат можно только у других людей, которые выяснили это эмпирически. Человек, который сам понял, что значит параметр инициативы дочерей в этой игре - гений. Я бы сам не догадался никогда.
В начале миссии на брифинге вам сказали, какие на миссии будут монстры? Забейте, это ложь.
Рандом - мой дом. Буквально. Каждый стат будет случайным, каждый навык, каждое усиление навыка, каждая атака и вообще все, что вы можете придумать, вплоть до мест спавна мобов прямо у вас за спиной.

Ну, визуал и саунд - хороши. Все, наверное.

[h2] Frustração em preto e branco [/h2]

Peraí, nota 8 ou 9 pela maioria dos meios jornalísticos? Mas e essa conquista de matar o último boss, obtida só por 6% dos jogadores? kkkkkk

Othercide é um jogo de batalhas táticas em turno ao estilo X-COM, Hard West, Darkest Dungeon ou Mutant: Year Zero, onde, de fato, oferece muito estilo, porém pouca substância. E ele vai testar os limites da sanidade até mesmo dos jogadores mais apaixonados pelo gênero. A arte é linda, não tem como negar, o preto, o branco e o vermelho contrastando durante os golpes e habilidades especiais das suas Filhas, tudo isso emoldurado por uma trilha sonora de puro metal, feita pela banda francesa SOLITARIS (a qual já entrou nas minhas playlists do Spotify.)

Mas... O jogo fez todas as escolhas erradas. Me parece, inclusive, que seus devs agiram sob o seguinte desafio: E se a gente fizesse o jogo mais frustrante possível, com o combate mais FDP possível?

Exemplos daquilo que frusta qualquer jogador de videogame:

*Você faz duas ou três ações antes dos seus Pontos de Ação acabarem. Já os inimigos, principalmente chefes? Fazem 4597539583965 ações no mesmo turno.

*Inimigos que fogem e que se curam, ficando full de novo no mesmo turno.

*Inimigos com ataques à distância que te acertam do outro lado do mapa (Suas Filhas da Classe de Pistoleira só acertam alvos até 6 quadrados de distância.)

*Spawn infinito de inimigos durante certas missões. Afinal todo mundo gosta de passar 3 horas numa batalha, né?

*Matemática sem sentido. Você causa 800 de dano num ataque básico, mas o chefe tem 50k de HP. Você se buffa com um shield que te dá +180 de Defesa, mas o inimigo te causa 1000 de dano num só golpe.

*Inimigos que spawnam e já agem imediatamente. Se ele spawnar ao lado de uma Filha, provavelmente já vai dar dois ataques seguidos nela, matando-a, sem você poder fazer nada para evitar isso.

*Inimigos que "leem suas habilidades". Você ativou alguma habilidade de contra-ataque? Ninguém vai te atacar essa rodada. Está preparando um ataque numa determinada área? Todos os mobs vão se afastar e sair do alcance dela.

Recomendo. O jogo explora temas de sacrifício e dor; é necessário sacrificar uma personagem para fortalecer outra. Isso, aliado a algumas regras próprias, deixa tudo muito mais difícil e desafiador. Para mim, este é o soulslike dos RPG’s de Tática. (Ou seria Roguelike de tática?)

HISTÓRIA 9/10:

A história de Othercide gira em torno da luta de uma Entidade e suas filhas contra horrores interdimensionais, em um ciclo eterno de sacrifício e renascimento. Essa entidade chamada “Mãe Vermelha” guia suas filhas (Daughters), guerreiras criadas a partir de sua essência. O objetivo é enfrentar o Sofrimento (The Suffering) - uma força cósmica que gera criaturas do pesadelo chamadas Nightmares. As batalhas acontecem em fendas interdimensionais, cada uma trazendo inimigos grotescos e chefes que representam traumas e dores. O jogo enfatiza o sacrifício. Muitas vezes (MUITAS MESMO) é preciso deixar uma filha morrer para fortalecer outra, reforçando o tema de dor e perda. A narrativa é cíclica, ou seja: você falha, renasce e tenta novamente, aprendendo mais sobre o universo sombrio e os segredos da Mãe Vermelha a cada ciclo.

Enquanto você completa sinapses (batalhas) o jogo vai liberando lembranças em páginas aleatórias de um livro que vai se completando e contando a história, montando-a como um quebra cabeças. Adorei a forma cuidadosa e literária com que trataram esse desenvolvimento. As filhas ganham características aleatórias mostrando que têm personalidades próprias e não são iguais, embora muitas vezes dividam a mesma função.

TRILHA SONORA - 9/10 :

Gostei muito da trilha, combinou demais com a história e todo o clima tenebroso dela. O jogo conta com 14 faixas e os Bosses tem suas trilhas exclusivas. Mas, em algum momento podem ficar enjoativas se você jogar por dezenas de horas.

Inovação e Originalidade - 10/10 : Esse jogo é uma nova experiência, com certeza. Principalmente para os que são desse nicho. Mistura RPG tático com Roguelike sendo punitivo ao extremo como um soulslike.

JOGABILIDADE - 8/10:

Como em qualquer jogo de tática, a movimentação é feita em blocos (ou Tiles). Você consegue jogar tanto num controle quanto no teclado e mouse. As únicas coisas que tenho a reclamar aqui são:
1.O fato de não ter como girar a câmera - mecanismo esse bem simples e presente na maioria dos jogos clássicos de tática - dando apenas para aproximar, distanciar e mover pra frente e para trás;
2.E algumas vezes senti dificuldade em clicar sobre os inimigos por conta dos huds que trazem informações sobre eles. Foi necessário mover a câmera para descobrir o adversário. Mas são coisas que com o tempo você se acostuma.

GRÁFICO- 10/10:

Lindo. A arte dele de forma geral tem muita beleza e harmonia. Conversa perfeitamente com o tema sombrio e literário do jogo. Embora a paleta de cores seja monocromática (com preto, branco e cinza) apresentando apenas o vermelho como variação, essa escolha foi perfeita pra trazer ao jogo uma atmosfera gótica e de terror.

PERFORMANCE E OTIMIZAÇÃO 8/10:

Meu setup é: i5 10400F, RTX4060, DDR4 32GB, SSD 2 x 512GB.
Othercide não exigiu nada do meu PC, não sei se numa máquina mais fraca exigirá. Contudo, tive travamento apenas uma vez, na transformação do 3ro Boss, a Maid; o jogo simplesmente travou e eu tive que dar F4. Tive alguns poucos bugs com relação a demarcação de área de ataque da Pistoleira. Algumas vezes a demarcação da área de ataque desaparecia e eu não conseguia saber se o meu ataque iria chegar no alvo ou não. Mas foram poucas vezes que isso ocorreu.

BALANCEAMENTO - 3/10 :

É um jogo feito com dificuldade elevada na essência, mas achei muito desbalanceado, sinceramente. É possível administrar bem por um tempo, mesmo diante do alto nível de dificuldade, mas quando você chega no late game, fica ABSURDAMENTE mais difícil. Os danos dos inimigos são letais -um vacilo e é vala, alguns novos monstros surgem e eles possuem vários turnos de ataque e o jogo infesta o ambiente com dezenas deles tornando o lugar um verdadeiro inferno (fora os efeitos que alguns monstros têm de suporte aos seus aliados e debuffs). É preciso escolher bem as filhas para cada missão e já pensar nesses cenários antes mesmo de entrar numa sinapse. E ainda assim as chances de derrota são altas, pois muitas skills úteis nesses casos consomem PV e as regras do jogo te impedem de prosseguir de maneira mais fluida já que pra curar alguma filha você deve sacrificar outra de nível igual ou superior. Isso forçará você a fazer várias e várias runs. O estresse a partir daí é certo, o que pode deixar o jogo muito repetitivo e frustrante. Infelizmente, para mim esse foi o ponto baixo e o que me fez dropar o game, pois tenho uma vida aqui fora e um backlog imenso me esperando. Para superar isso, é necessário engajamento e muitas horas de dedicação. Muito boa sorte aos que quiserem zerar o jogo (no modo normal,claro).

Agora, se você não quer se frustrar e não se importa de jogar no easy (Dream), pode ir por este caminho. Nesse modo de dificuldade o jogo permite que as filhas recuperem parte do sangue sem que você precise sacrificar outra. Facilitando a jornada. Mas não é a mesma experiência de jogar no modo normal, já que - assim como num soulslike -, a dificuldade é parte da experiência de entretenimento.

REJOGABILIDADE- SEM NOTA:

O jogo por si já é repetitivo por ter elementos de roguelike. Você vai morrer e vai retornar, querendo ou não. Vai refazer as mesmas telas, querendo ou não. E essa estrutura obriga você rejogá-lo o tempo todo. Então nota aqui não se aplica. Ele por si só ja é um jogo que vc rejoga e rejoga.

MULTIPLAYER E COMUNIDADE - 5/10 :

Não possui modo online. Seria interessante isso, eu diria. A comunidade é pequena, você não encontra muita coisa. É um jogo de nicho, né? Aí, já viu... Mas o pouco que existe, já ajuda.

INTERFACE E ACESSIBILIDADE - 9/10 :

O jogo não possui poluição visual, embora tenha muita informação. É bem organizado. Por ter a paleta monocromática ele sempre contrasta bem. É PTBR e você pode modular o tamanho das legendas. Queria muito que tivesse a opção de áudio em japonês com legendas em ptbr. Só isso que faltou, na minha opinião.
