This game is a walking simulator, and opinions on it can vary. It might not suit everyone.
You collect 10 mushrooms and 4 skulls, with the skulls being required to move forward in the game. The world feels a bit odd, but if you like these kinds of games, it’s a nice way to spend your time.
I enjoyed the soothing music and the narration.

Nephise: Begins repite los mismos problemas del juego original, pero los agrava. El mapa es innecesariamente grande, lo que hace que la falta de guía sea aún más notoria y la exploración se vuelva desorientadora y tediosa.
La estructura sigue siendo extremadamente simple: recolección de objetos, un puzzle básico y un cierre sin ningún tipo de desafío real. El aumento del tamaño del nivel no agrega profundidad, solo tiempo muerto.
Para mí, es una experiencia aún menos disfrutable que el primer juego.

A waste of time and money. The gameplay constists of walking painstakingly slow through a mostly empty forest and finding collectibles, while listening to an occasional mediocre narration to a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ story. Finished in less than 40min with maxed out achievements.

Beat it in less than 30 minutes. No gameplay whatsoever, no story whatsoever. There is nothing to discover, the forest looks almost the same everywhere aside a single house, huntingtower and a cave. One of the worst non games i ever played.

Пройшов гру, але так і не зрозумів про що вона... бльше нагадує якусь техно демку на UE4, але цим зараз нікого не здивуєш (та і у 2017 теж не здивував би).
Кілька років тому забрав її на роздачі безплатно, лиш зараз пройшов заради цікавості і досягнень, яких тут 5 штук. А так, то нікому не рекомендую до покупки, в цій грі немає що робити.

Сейчас подобной картинкой удивить уже невозможно, но сделаем скидку на то, что игра 2017 года выпуска. Хотя Skyrim вышел 2011... ладно, пусть будет сравнение с [b]"Enderal"[/b].

😒 Играется, а точнее ходится, это уныло. Никаких заумных монологов и философствования, никакой истории, ничего примечательно. Некоторые могут удивиться огромной лисе, которая будет охранять проход, но как только вы увидите её в движении, то сразу разочаруетесь. Да и существо в конце имеет очень страшную физиономию. Ещё одно доказательство, что разработчик без опыта. Вроде как эта игра предыстория для другой поделки автора, по крайней мере так гласит описание.

😕 Меньше чем за час вы оббегаете всю округу, соберёте все предметы и получите все достижения. Если конечно вы не застрянете в текстурах как я. Видимо игра не тестировалась своим создателем, иначе странно как можно было оставить столь много мест (чаще между двух деревьев) в которых игрок намертво застревает. Так же тут есть висящие в воздухе камни, а под некоторыми углами можно начать видеть сквозь текстуры.

😐 Даже за столь скромную цену не советую брать эту игру, да и за бесплатно будет лишь трата времени. После написания обзора зашел на страницу разработчика и увидел, что подобных игр у него десятки и все они похожи друг на друга. Видимо он до сих пор не может понять и осознать, что помимо картинки в хороших играх есть кое-что ещё.

Visualmente es muy bonito y relajante, pero eso de andar en círculos buscando en lo más recóndito puede resultar molesto. Es una ventaja que es muy corto.
Lo recomiendo por su bajísimo precio y porque se puede terminar con suerte en menos de una hora. Hasta ahora me entero de que es una trilogía. Ya le daré la oportunidad.

This was a pretty underwhelming game. "Meh" would be how I'd describe it. The game is very short. You have to collect 10 mushrooms, 4 skulls, and then proceed to the end where you kill an enemy.
The achievements seem bugged or at least delayed. I didn’t get the one for killing the enemy (maybe I climbed the steps too soon?), and the achievement for finishing the game popped several minutes after it returned back to the main menu after completing the game. I'd probably have to play through it again just to get that achievement, which is annoying. Also, there’s no save system, although to be fair, the game does warn you about that up front.
It also ran extremely heavy. My computer fans were going absolutely wild the whole time, which rarely happens. Given how this one performed, I don’t think I’ll be picking up any of this developer's other games.

Bonito, com narrativa minima e totalmente baseado em exploração (encontre X objetos), pelo preço baixo se você quer um jogo com conquista fáceis, porque não?
Mas não é uma experiência que vai ter marcar ou ser lembrada depois de alguns dias, fosse ele mais caro ou prometesse mais coisas, aí poderia não recomendar, mas sabendo no que você está se metendo (e que o jogo pode ser terminado em meia hora) fica por sua própria escolha.

It's beautiful, has a minimal narrative and is entirely based on exploration (find X objects). For a low price, if you want a game with easy achievements, why not?
But it's not an experience that will stick with you or be remembered after a few days. If it were more expensive or promised more things, I might not recommend it. But knowing what you're getting into (and that the game can be finished in half an hour), it's up to you.

Ein eigenständiges Spiel kann man es nicht wirklich nennen, dafür ist es einfach mit ca. 30 Minuten Spielzeit einfach zu kurz geraten. Es ist mehr eine Art Prolog. Allerdings ist die Umgebung sehr stimmungsvoll gemacht auch die Musik passt wunderbar als Untermalung. Man darf aber nicht zu viel erwarten, das spiegelt sich schon im Preis wider...
Recomendación neutral si pudiera.
Funciona como precuela de Nephise. No hay mucha trama que digamos. El juego te dice que recolectes hongos pero sólo es necesario si quieres el logro, es totalmente opcional; recomiendo mirar una guía a menos que quieras estar dos horas dando vueltas en el bosque haciendo nada.

Неплохая игра, особенно если сравнивать с первой Nephise. Явно видно прогресс автора, лазить по скалам и искать проходы на более высокие площадки гораздо интереснее, чем в предыдущей части. В остальном - прикольная бродилка на час-другой, с простыми загадками и приятной лесной атмосферой.
This feels like a project someone would make while learning how to make games rather than a final project. Tons of randomly put together assets from asset packs that are poorly put together. Models are just floating at times. The little story there is extremely short and narrated by a text to speech service and doesn't make sense.

Aranyos kis séta szimulátor, semmi sem kerget és a relatíve kicsi erdőben kell megtalálni 4 dolgot a továbbjutáshoz. Opcionálisan összegyűjthetsz 10 piros gombát is, ami azért vicces mert elvileg gombászni indultál el.
A grafika és a fényeffektek gyönyörűek, de az árnyékok néha nagyon furák és csúnyák.
1 eruóba kerül, igazából egy demo-ért és egy előzményért kicsit sok, 30-60 perc alatt végig lehet vinni. Ennek ellenére tudom ajánlani, nagyon relaxáló az erdőben sétálni.

Nephise Begins was an absolute delight to play! You venture into a sprawling forest map in search of skulls, mushrooms, and other clues to help the main character complete their quest—and collect every achievement along the way. The atmosphere is enchanting, and the attention to detail is remarkable; the game nearly rivals AAA visuals despite its price of just around a dollar US. The music perfectly enhances the environment, and the storyteller adds a wonderful layer of guidance by providing hints on where to go and what to do.
The game also offers adjustable settings for graphics, video, and audio, allowing you to tailor the experience to your PC specifications and personal preferences. I found the game very accessible—after roughly 20 minutes, I was fully oriented with the map. The story concludes with a cliffhanger that naturally leads into the other Nephise games by the developer.
For me, Nephise Begins is an excellent introduction to the series, and I'm considering checking out the other Nephise titles. It’s a charming casual adventure that's perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing experience with straightforward objectives.

(Далее лютые спойлеры) Вы собираете 10 грибов (опционально), собираете 4 черепа, потом крутите вазы, смотрите как улетает огромный лис в небо на нищих движениях, а потом взглядом убиваете гарпию и побеждаете.
É bem similar ao primeiro jogo, onde você anda por um espaço limitado e precisa coletar alguns itens que estão ali.
Não tem muito mistério e tem uma breve (bem breve) história, sei lá particularmente não me chama a atenção, joguei apenas pelas conquistas, por ser bem curtinho e simples de fazer o 100%.

A demo for a full game. More like a prologue for the main game it seems, however I got this for free and walking sims not my cup of tea. I suggest they just make this free and sell the full game but not my worry. If it was a free, I would give it thumbs up. Because for a demo it shows what the game is about and gives you just enough story for you to see the hook. But otherwise, meh.

Если вы любите медитативную ходьбу для отдыха, то эта игра не подходит, так как очень маленькая локация с однообразным фоном и рельефом.
Цветовая палитра в сторону тепла и освещение перенасыщены, локация маленькая, рельеф примитивный, активностей и точек интереса мало, сюжет для галочки, музыка неплохая - но через 10 минут начала раздражать высокими нотами, геймплей растянут собирательством и отсутствием бега.
Игре больше подходит оценка 50/50, рекомендовать как симулятор ходьбы не стану. Тем не менее даже в этой игре можно увидеть что то прекрасное.

Nephise Begins es un walking simulator que nos pone en el papel de una persona que debe recolectar items en un bosque para entrar a una cueva que esta protegida por un gran zorro.
El mapa es chico, la musica tiene 4 pistas que son agradables de oir y no dura mas de 30 minutos.
Ideal para relajarse por un momento.
It's a beautiful forest walking simulator, and the music is relaxing, if not a little repetitive... but that's all there is to it. A whole lotta questions left unanswered, and I'm not compelled to ask for more.
It's a walk in a forest for about 30min followed by a few min more through a cave with a background voice telling you, only from time to time, what to do and supported by some relaxing music. Has probably neither ambition nor pretention to be more than this. Simply a demo-like prologue to something else.
Would never have heard about it before receiving a discount coupon; is Steam feeling guilty for not advertising this kind of products as much as they do for the more expensive ones (with their lucrative 30% cut) ?
Having then paid 0.3euros for it here, i can not question the value for money.

Данный продукт представляет из себя не что иное как курсовую работу по Unreal Engine. Всю игру, длительность которой не превышает [b][u]25 минут[/u][/b], вам предстоит ходить по лесу, собирать грибы и черепа парнокопытных животных, а затем, разместив последние в правильном порядке на две бочки - открыть проход в пещеру, которую охраняет гигантский лис. После этого он поднимется и побежит в небо, а внутри пещеры вы найдете гарпию, тронув которую вы вызовете ее внезапную смерть (самый легкий босс в истории видео игр). Как вы уже догадались, по ноздре было пущено не слабо автором этой демки. Ах да, пока вы будете симулировать ходьбу, на фоне вам будет выедать мозг наркоманская сказочная музыка.

겉으로 보기엔 그냥 평범한 힐링 걷기 시뮬레이터인데 왜 이렇게 사람들의 반응이 부정적인지 궁금해서 한번 해봤는데, 대충 이유를 알 것 같습니다.
우선, 이 게임은 단독으로 즐기는 게임이 아니라, 이 제작자의 게임 시리즈 속 등장하는 'Nephise (네피세)'의 배경, 즉 프리퀼 격 게임인 듯 합니다. 상점 설명을 보더라도 이 게임은 '네피세가 오브 콜렉터가 되기 전에 무슨 일이 있었는가'를 다룬다고 말하고 있고요. 하지만 그걸 감안하더라도 저 역시 이 게임을 긍정적으로 보기 어려울 것 같습니다.
부정적으로 보는 가장 큰 이유라고 한다면, 스토리의 설명이 부실합니다. 처음에 게임을 시작하면 '네피세는 어리고 연약한 영혼이었습니다. 어느날 오후 네피세는 니들(바늘) 협곡에서 빨간 버섯을 모으고 있었습니다...' 라는 나레이션이 들리며 게임이 시작됩니다. 여기서부터 네피세는 남자인지, 여자인지, 심지어는 사람인지도 알 수 없고 (인게임에서 플레이어의 모델링은 없습니다), 왜 니들 협곡에 갔는지, 왜 빨간 버섯을 모으고 있는지조차 알 수 없습니다. 이외에도 게임을 진행하며 등장하는 여러 요소에 대해 나레이션은 일체 설명해주지 않습니다. 아니, 나레이션은 플레이어가 이미 해당 존재를 알고 있고, 주인공이 어떤 목적을 가지고 무엇을 하려는지 이미 다 알고 있다는 식으로 말합니다.
저는 저걸 처음 봐서 '우와 신기하다 저게 뭐야' 라는 생각이 미처 끝나지도 않았는데, 갑자기 나레이션이 들려와서는 '어~ 너 그거 하려면 그거 해야 한다?' 라고 말하고 있는 거죠. 속된말로 '그게 뭔데 씹덕아' 당한 겁니다. 한번 이렇게 당하고 나니까 게임이 뭐 중간중간 끊긴다거나 소리가 너무 큰데 설정에서 apply 말고 ok를 눌러야지만 적용이 된다거나 대충 어디 바위산에 나무들이랑 죽은 나무 잘린것들이랑 버섯들 좀 갖다놓고 산이라고 우기고 있는 괴상한 곳이나 하는 문제점들은 다 사소하게 느껴질 정도로 기분이 나빴습니다.
프리퀼이라는 것은, 어느 세계관에서 중대한 사건이 일어나기 전에 해당 세계관의 배경을 설명해주는, 사람으로 치면 뼈대도 아니고 신체 구성의 DNA만큼이나 중요하다고 저는 생각합니다. 부디 제작자가 앞으로 게임을 계속 만들 거라면, 프리퀼 역시도 스토리를 중요하게 생각해줬으면 좋겠습니다. 요즘 사람들은 이런 게임은 무료로 준다고 해도 안 하니까요.

'Nephise Begins' is a delightful, atmospheric game that tells the story of Nephise before she became an orb collector. The game features narration, a HUD, stunning landscapes, and various collectibles (mushrooms, letters, animal skulls). I completed the game in around 20 minutes, collecting all the collectibles and unlocking all the achievements in a single sitting. Kinda pointless walking sim, HUD doesn't help at all and you can easily spend an hour lost just finding... everything

Sorry but I had to be honest with this. I've been looking for the last mushroom more than 1 hour. Why didn't you also put a HUD for the mushrooms? Map is so big that instead of relaxing, it was stressing. Not recommended at all. Don't waste your money.
