This is more than a game. This is what I believe is true, raw art.

Laika: Aged Through Blood is a demonstration on what a mother would do for her child. It is a story about love, and how little freedom you have if you choose to serve those you love, no matter what you want for yourself. Sacrificial love. Love that will see you crawl through miles of broken glass, jump through bonfires, or fight an army with no hope of success. It is about being a soldier, of fighting against impossible odds in order to protect what's behind you, to preserve the little innocence that remains.
There is so much to unpack, yet I find myself speechless in regards to how deeply this game has impacted me. To truly understand, you must play through the story yourself, perservere through the learning curve, and stay until after the end.
The phenomenal soundtrack continuously traps you in the unavoidable path without a moment's reprieve, in the most beautiful, heartaching way possible.

Moreover, in addition to Laika wanting to keep her child safe, her community is also a sort of cage for her, as no matter what she tries to do, she must use her powers to protect those she loves.

Appreciation, glory and reciprocated love are not needed when you choose to spend your life doing what is needed, rather than what you wanted to do.

The gameplay is fast paced and vibrant, with more than a few ways to tackle any given situation. Chances are you'll choose the most basic and effective way to put a few evil men in the ground. One of the most amazing things you may do in this game is to parry bullets back at a shooter by drifting your motorcycle into the bullet.

I highly recommend this game, especially to women who feel trapped by life. I don't just recommend this game to you, I beg you to play it.

如果想找一款新奇的类银河恶魔城游戏，那这款一定是不二选择。
1，主角全程作战都骑摩托，可以调整角度用摩托车挡子弹，还有主动的偏转可以应对一些角度来不及调整的状况（有冷却，在有能量的情况下可以原路弹回去），前空翻充能偏转弹反，后空翻为武器填充弹药。整体做成了基于角度的资源管理循环系统。
2，主角与敌兵都是一击必杀，主角武器瞄准状态有很长的子弹时间，玩起来非常刺激。
3，UI设计很好，武器准心可以看到主角的体位角度和弹药数量，方便了解资源状况。

This is an emotional story first and foremost. It does give you a high degree of freedom in personal progression. And I love it for that.

Gameplay-wise, I would more compare this to Celeste. Planning your path, how are you going to utilize the options you have to go through dangerous grounds. Each section requires thought. Even easier sections can be played with more thought to get you more resources. Don't rush through this game, enjoy the ride and follow where your bike leads.

The game had interested me a while back, still does. only issue is that while it says that it supports controller inputs, it stops reading them after about a minute and a half, so I keep having to relaunch the game because it seems unable to switch between k+m and controller without doing so, as soon as it switches to keyboard and mouse it acts like I never had a controller connected in the first place. other than that, no complaints so far

Game started off interesting both in its mechanics , style and story.

However, I think game a major flaw as metroidvania, being that actually traversing the map is not enjoyable or interesting.
From my experience playing Metroidvanis, two ways they avoid back tracking becoming tedious is 1. offer fast travel and unlocked abilities give addition ways to move through already explored areas.

Fast travel points in Laika exist however they are placed in such spots, there a lot of location will require significant travel even after their usage.
Regarding the second point, I am 8 hours into the campaign and have unlocked 2 traversal abilities, neither of which changed how I moved around the map.

Combine this with another aspect, of 1 hit kill mechanics means , In addition to quests I have found myself having to go through same linear areas over and over.

As is I do not see myself finishing Laika.

I like this game because of its amazing art direction and neat bike metroid vain system, I don't know if I would recomend it because of not finding most of the bike combat fun which the game likes to focus on a lot and bits of jank like how mid gameplay dialog gets canceled without anyway to see the rest of it when you die.

8.5/10 story 6/10 gameplay, 9/10 art style, extreme peaks and valleys in storytelling, strong themes, needs alot more polishing. It really just feels like the gameplay was an afterthought, to be honest i think the game would be alot better if it wasn't a metroidvania.
Incredible indirect storytelling. Forcing player to go to "Where mother groans" for candles in the early-game is genius.
The final boss was really disappointing, dies within 3 secs if you're using the right weapons
"Difficult" gameplay sections end up being more tedious than challenging, would benefit with more demanding sections.
Difficulty evaporates after unlocking the boosters
Dying is often times faster than reloading in the early game, imo guns should auto reload when unequipped after 30 secs out of combat.
Shopping and crafting never felt good, more so a means to an end rather than an engaging system.

Laika: Aged Through Blood is a wonderful, hand drawn... game. It's difficult to categorize with a neat term as it takes inspiration from the strangest places. Part Trials, part Hollow Knight and part My Friend Pedro - Laika will have you speeding through levels on your motorbike, pulling off stunts to reload your guns and headshotting enemies while using the body of the motorcycle to block enemy bullets. If all of that sounds dope, get the game! The rest of the review is for those hesitant.

Laika is hard - and not necessarily in a good way always. There's a large readability issue - the screen zooms out to show you beautiful vistas while expecting you to flip through the air and precision aiming shots. Your character doesn't stand out at all from the screen and in some areas even enemy bullets blend in to the background.

Besides the readability, the game will be frustrating - you'll retry sections over and over again. The speed needed to clear obstacles and the precision needed to not die from enemies work against each other in a way that made the game unfun for me personally. However if you're the type of gamer that loves retrying sections and learning fast-paced movement systems you'll have a blast I think.

The final thing is the story - I never completed the game, as I didn't enjoy the gameplay after some point, but what I did see of the story it's really good - heartwarming and heartwrenching at the same time. It will gut punch you right out the gate with extremely heavy topics and will keep it up for your whole playthrough. So be mentally prepared for that.

All in all, I recommend this game, albeit with the caveat that you should only get it if you really like stuff like Trials and don't mind retrying sections over and over again

主角不圣母，音乐很顶级，设定挺新奇，剧情较严肃
以下是游戏没告诉你但是你可能需要知道的注意事项：
1、右下角的武器轮盘的右上角的火是指你能反弹子弹的次数，最多可以通过消耗品增加到4次，但即使没有反弹次数了按反弹也不会受伤，只是不会反弹回去。（反弹的教程那里好像有bug，死了不刷新可用次数）
2、鼠标指针上面的小箭头是指主角的头部朝向，部分场景可能容易看到不人物模型，需要看鼠标指针箭头来调整朝向防止摔死
3、武器槽升级之后，如果装上去了是不能卸下来的。如果你有三个武器槽，只装了两个武器，有一个空槽，用鼠标滚轮一直朝同一个方向滚动切换武器会卡住，必须要全部装上武器才能循环切换，要不就用数字键切换武器
4、建议用键鼠游玩
5、游戏里面仅有两种手段可以上到部分高处，一种在游戏主线前期，一种在游戏主线后期
6、存在少部分bug，少部分时候你在地图上的位置会在半空中，实际在地面，容易出现在从一个大地区到另一个大地区的时候，还有极少数时候会直接卡死，就是无法操作，按什么键都没用（我碰到两次），这个时候需要退回到主菜单再重新进才行
7、boss都需要打特定部位才会掉血，且除最终boss和第一、二个boss外都要等转阶段了才会出现可以攻击的部位，换句话说最终boss（他没有锁血）可以用某些武器很快处理掉，第一、二个boss因为前期没解锁武器比较难做到

音乐特别好听，是我愿意放着主线不做，优先收集磁带的程度。
很喜欢对和平主义鸟的处理，没有用力过猛，主角和反战鸟的对话只有一句“或许有一天敌人不会再对我开枪”。
在此之后，玩家每次遇见和平鸟都是对这句话的回顾，为了内脏杀死它？没分辨就顺手打死？专门放过它？把对反战主题的探讨衍生到了玩家身上。

强无敌，手感巨爽，配置要求也低，有些地方的堆怪处理起来有点麻烦，boss设计很有意思，武器的差异做的也很完美，剧情跟画面表现简直封神类魂银河城设计注定了玩起来会很难，但是熟练了以后是真的爽杀，转圈回子弹/弹反次数是神来之笔，非常好的设计，挨一枪就死也可以通过做饭来避免，缺点就是没接任务的时候遇到任务道具捡不了，而且传送点太少了，做任务的时候跑起来很累，以及那个坑坑洼洼的地图会卡脚

Me encanta este juego, y a la vez siento que podría haber sido mucho más, da la sensación de estar jugando a una cosa extraña entre gráficos hermosos y juego flash de newgrounds, se siente como si jugases una obra maestra y también un título sin pretensiones que simplemente quiere divertir, pero con un trasfondo que resulta interesante. La música, la historia y el arte hacen que parezca una épica que te marcará, y te enamora. Tiene algunos bugs, aunque nada serio. El manejo es raro al principio pero muy satisfactorio cuando le pillas el truco. Aún así muchas de sus propuestas se quedan a medio gas, artísticas, mecánicas y narrativas:

SPOILERS!

El contraste artístico entre las animaciones por frame y las interpoladas le impiden, por poco, llegar al nivel de calidad artística que merece. Puede que por complicaciones técnicas fuese más viable hacer animaciones interpoladas.

La escopeta es una idea brillante mal acabada, me recuerda a las habilidades del Animal Well, enrevesadas pero familiares. Además encaja a la perfección que la escopeta sea como un dash, pero al mejorarla el segundo disparo apenas impulsa, justificando que más adelante habrá un dash clásico que hace inútil a la escopeta, cuando la escopeta podría haber sido un dash que fueses mejorando y no necesitar un dash genérico.

Toda la historia apunta a un desenlace épico, y el final no está mal, pero podría haber quedado un poquito más redondo. Lo primero es que la excusa de morir se la inventan al final, sin aprovechar la genial anticipación que tienen de que cuando Puppy sangre tú perderás los poderes, pudiendo perder en un boss y morir porque Puppy ha sangrado, y entonces manejar a Puppy. Pero incluso con el final como lo tienen, el menú de inicio debería verse con el casco de Laika y al continuar la partida deberías manejar a Puppy, sin necesidad de que el juego continúe, pero se sentiría redondo.

El boss del Papa que tira huevos no está bien, hay que apuntar perfecto a los huevos y falla mucho, se ve cómo la bala atraviesa el huevo pero el huevo no se destruye, y en cuanto falles uno o dos tiros, prácticamente la has pifiado, es tedioso incluso siendo una premisa divertida.

Me parece una casi obra maestra desaprovechada, me encanta y a la vez me da pena. De mis metroidvanias favoritos junto con Animal Well y Hollow Knight.

Probably my favourite narratively driven indie game. This also coming from someone who doesn't care for side scrollers. The visuals are striking and the gameplay is oddly addicting with how satisfying it is to pull off shots and reloads.
Only thing I have to say I really didn't enjoy was the boss fights. The first three bosses are quite well designed and feel fair for the most part. But every boss after is just frustrating. The game is clearly trying to go for a souls or hollow knight style of tough bosses, except you can only take one hit. I personally ended up using a mod to get through pretty much all of the later bosses.
I feel like there definitely should have been a 'story' difficulty option, or at least an included assist if you're finding the bosses too challenging (which they are).

The story is a standout in this game too, heavy themes and honestly extremely emotional. I just wish the overall background lore was more willingly explored throughout the game. Most of the narrative focus goes to the story happening in the present. Everything else is vaguely stepped around.

Game features a stunning soundtrack, Beicoli does an amazing job with her vocals accompanying you throughout most of the game. Easily my new favourite videogame OST.

to finish, I enjoyed this game a lot. It's absolutely excellent. I really hope it gets a sequel of some kind. I want to see more of this world and gameplay style. Brainwash gang are a dev team I am very much interested in.

TL:DR - Gameplay is fun, bosses suck.

One of the most heartbreaking and brutal stories I've ever experienced, everything from the atmosphere to the music (MY GOD THE MUSIC) is unforgettable with my only pet peeve being the steep learning curve for the gameplay. I hope to see more storytelling of this calibre from the game devs. And to anyone still on the fence on buying this, this game is 100% completable in less than 24 hours (much much less if you skip achievements), and if that's still not enough to entice at the very least give the OST a listen, you will not regret it.

个人要评分的话大概是7.5/10，体验下来还是很不错的，但称不上特别好玩

先谈优点后谈缺点
优点：
音乐很有特色，和世界观氛围非常搭配，也很适配摩托的轰鸣
美术不错，击败boss以后都有过场cg
机制独特，开摩托的确实没见过，不过需要稍微适应一下
剧情不错，主角人设鲜明有个性，你能看到她对女儿的爱，你可以看到她被爱恨分明，你可以看到她的果决，你也可以看到她被冲动支配。她不是我最喜欢的那种圣人，但她是个鲜活的母亲，一个鲜活的守护者
存档点多，不用死了以后从365里路外赶回去

缺点：
战斗方式比较单一，几种枪除了霰弹枪有后坐力外都大差不差（火箭筒没用过，不清楚）
通马桶类任务很多，重复跑图比较严重，好几个任务要采的花，要摘的芭蕉叶之前路过的时候就看到图层不一样，停下来看看能不能交互，能不能用枪打下来，都不行，非要以后触发了条件，接下任务才能过去摘
传送点比较稀疏
设置快捷键的时候不能把键位改到鼠标上，不仅别的键位不能改到鼠标上，包括默认的左键射击右键钩爪，如果把它改掉了，想再把键位改回鼠标上也不行，只能选择重置键位设置

其他：
受限于移动方式，地图设计很难特别精彩
非血条制，是一摸就死的类型
死亡惩罚不严重，属于似有若无的范围，主要是存档点近，死了走两步就能捡到，除了开到近处吸附也可以用枪击捡袋子，把掉的钱捡回来没什么难度。会烧菜以后每天出门时烧个摩托吸附范围增加15的菜，把buff常驻上，就几乎不用刻意考虑捡钱的事了
没有多结局还是很可惜的，第一次碰到不开枪的鸟时还以为是bug，后面又碰到了几次，发现都带着白色的袖章时就觉得应该是有和平派的鸟儿的，毕竟鸟本来就象征自由和平啊。想着要是我能一直不对和平的鸟动手，会不会有剧情拆分，虽然没有也在情理之中，但是有点可惜。
终有一天，我希望所有种族都在此地，一枪不鸣

Люблю такие небольшие проекты, в большинстве случаев именно они восхищают своей простотой и интересом. Вроди недолго знаком с персонажами, но проникаешься к каждому после битвы с боссом. Жестокие сцены в мультяшной рисовке с трогательным послевкусием так бы я описал данный шедевр.
Игра не даст заскучать. Не сложная но иногда игра ловит тебя когда ты в очередной раз не успел перезарядить свою двустволку. Музыка тут просто божественная, хочется просто ехать и слушать. Жаль композиций не так много за 20 часов поднадоедает но каждый трек достоин внимания. Хотелось бы очень продолжения.

What a refreshing take on metroidvanias. This game is superb. Great combat, the bike gameplay is very fun, and the story is gut wrenching and very well told.

The art is amazing, the animations (albeit short) are smooth and have movie-quality level. And what can I say about the soundtrack... Exquisite.

A game with almost no flaws. Details here and there that are not that important to mention them.

Brainwash Gang are super good. Laika is really good, a strange hybrid of Trials, bike'n'gun, and a sort-of vania structure. The music, mood, graphics and world are all really great. Most of my gametime was spent trying to do cool flips while shooting enemies in slo-mo, then dying because my head hit the ground before my wheels. I still love it.

I waited to write this to make sure it was real, but it is. This game is spectacular, and a completely original experience while also being very familiar... but the familiarity is taken from three different, distinct genres mashed together, and somehow it just works incredibly well. If you are like me and think that Trials, Super Meat Boy, and Metroid/SOTN are some of the best games ever, and you like good music, just buy it now. I desperately need a sequel and I'm not even quite done with it yet. What a complete weird and beautiful game. My only wish for a sequel is more thoughtful writing. Some of the dialogue is kind of ham fisted/jarring. I get the intent, but some of the swearing and stuff comes off as edgelord and jammed in. It's a hard 8 for me, with real potential to become something very, very special if they expand on it the concept.

São tantos pontos que é difícil resumir todos, mas vou resumir dos 3 que acho os melhores:

Gameplay: o ponto que me fez jogar esse jogo em primeiro lugar, um metroidvania de moto, como algo assim seria possível, um trials fusion + ori and the Blind Forest na minha opnião. A movimentação demora um pouco para se acostumar, mas com o tempo, você percebe como as fases são fluidas e feitas para você passar deslizando basicamente.

História: esse é um ponto que quando comecei a jogar nem me importei muito, mas minha nossa, que história pesada, tocante e incrível, bem formada, ela é apresentada de forma concisa, muito bem escrita e você percebe como o mundo inteiro do jogo consegue se encaixar com o que eles querem te contar. No final eu estava simplesmente gritando para minha tela a cada momento.

Musica: a musica faz uma boa parcela do jogo, com uma trilha sonora original, as musicas contam ainda mais da história, ela te ajuda a relaxar quando necessário, te deixa focado quando precisa, tem um carinho muito grande colocado nas musicas e isso ajuda muito em todos os outros aspectos.

Espero mais jogos desse tipo dos desenvolvedores!

Instead of guiding exploration, the system leaves players wandering across a huge space with very little direction. The map becomes less of a tool and more of a decorative interface.

第五十八款通关的类银，机制新颖，综合体验下来就像《ender lilies》一样，好听，好看，但不算很好玩。

机制很新颖独特，刚开始因为不习惯操作（后翻填弹，前翻刷新弹反）加上只有一条命，且子弹仅仅两发，前期难度会比较高，同时配合较重的死亡惩罚（丢失一半钱，且前期仅两次机会捡）这游戏前期还是挺劝退的，好在存档点还是挺多的。和大部分类银一样，后期能力上来以后体验就会好很多。

战斗方面，除boss外，敌我均一击必杀，射击瞄准时有时缓，虽然空中不能弹反但子弹可以通过微操用底盘挡住，整体不算太难，但略显流程化，比如第三群boss，四个跑酷boss战都属于比较路线流程化，子弹都要算好用在什么地方，多打错一发可能就会导弹糊脸。而且某些boss战会缩小人物的同时有烟雾干扰视野，很容易以头抢地（小技巧是瞄准那个小箭头是头的指向）

地图一般般，毕竟要用摩托移动没有跳跃，做不出太复杂地形，但本作也在花样上下了点功夫，比如单轮走绳，霰弹后坐力移动之类的，而且部分图还有动态变化，算是减少了一点疲惫感。

不过有个很大的问题就是通马桶任务超级多，而且传送点很少，大部分会明确指引目的地，只有少部分不看地图会找死，尽管如此，跑图还是占用了很长一段时间，极其枯燥。过分的是，大部分任务给的都是鸡肋。这个任务也是服务于设定，很麻烦。每次做完要第二天才能接新任务，然后白天晚上npc或者能进入的屋子还不一样，在外面逛一圈回来天黑了还得睡一觉到白天才能见要交任务的npc。

作为类银却只有俩能力锁而且还不均衡…其中钩子能力用处很少，推进能力很强但大后期才拿的到，有了就是上天下地（苦练的霰弹枪位移失去了作用）

最后就是好到爆炸的剧情，天籁般带着忧伤的挽歌，手绘废土的独特美学，击败boss后独特的过场动画以及最终战之后氛围感营造超级好的演出。而且是少有的女性视角叙事，将月经和能力绑定，为后续的悲壮牺牲埋下伏笔。另外，鸟族研究员剧情和船长剧情真的很棒，光冲这两个就很推荐这款游戏。

说到船长，不得不说莱卡的能力解锁很合理，和其他两个需要工具才能解锁能力一样，开船能力也并不是凭空获取，而是和船长有一搭没一搭聊天像中年男人一般慢慢熟悉关系，最后被教会的，小巧思真的不少。

Creo que los 3 puntos más fuertes de este juego es la profundidad de la trama, el valor de contarla como lo hace y la banda sonora. La animación, sonido, diseño artístico y gameplay son muy buenos también y lo hacen un juego divertido y entretenido pero si deberías jugarlo es por los 3 puntos que dije al principio. Laika se ha ganado un rincón en mi corazón.

Nota: el juego es desafiante que no difícil, aunque lo he jugado con mando lo he probado con mouse y teclado y habría sido más sencillo así ya que el apuntado es más flexible.

Laika Aged Through Blood is somewhat of a flawed Masterpiece, and one of my favorite games of all time.

The story is gripping from beginning to end and filled with both brutal violence and profound sadness, centering around a Mother and her generations long fight to protect her village and daughter from a Fascistic Empire bent on destroying the world. The story incorporates trauma, abuse and tragedy very well, I can say that it made me cry on several occasions and I still get misty eyed when I think about certain parts of the game even years later.

All of this accompanied by an absolutely brilliant soundtrack, with vocal lyrics that tug at the heart and accentuate plot moments aswell as feature solid instrumentals when wandering the world, with the option to select music to play while riding.

The gameplay won't be for everybody unfortunately, its difficult and unforgiving, requiring you to learn to balance shooting while simultaneously manipulating the Motorbike you're always on in order to block bullets with the undercarriage and reload your guns, reminiscent of the Trials franchise in some ways. Meanwhile the main Protagonist always dies to a single bullet, so making one often means death, and while checkpoints aren't usually too far apart, the frustration remains and even grows when you have to do boss battles as they require you to do them perfectly or face a restart.

Fast travel points are so few and far between that you'll often be traversing areas you've been to even when you don't need to explore the area. Some important sidequests rely on visiting a Traveling Trader that moves frequently so it's a guessing game as to where they'll appear next. Upgrades from exploration can be underwhelming when they aren't items that progress a characters story or a new song to listen to, the game is a Metroidvania but never really gives you interesting mobility options or new combat abilities that change how you play.

Despite some bad gameplay woes the Story and Soundtrack is worth a little bit of tedium, and if you're not interested in the game itself I urge you to atleast watch a Youtube Video of the plot and/or listen to the soundtrack, it stands on it's own as an excellent Album.

Купил игру на распродаже, потому что сразу зацепила её визуальная составляющая. В первый день у меня вообще ничего не получалось — механики показались очень странными и непривычными. Из-за этого я даже сделал возврат.
Но через пару дней почему-то передумал и решил купить игру снова, дав ей второй шанс. И, как оказалось, не зря — именно необычные механики и являются главной изюминкой игры.
По своей сути это больше аркада: ты катаешься на байке и стреляешь по врагам, которые в основном не двигаются, поэтому какого-то бешеного экшена здесь нет. Тем не менее играть всё равно очень весело.
Отдельное удовольствие — просто гонять на байке и крутить сальто в воздухе. К концу игры это настолько входит в привычку, что начинаешь делать их каждый раз, когда оказываешься в воздухе.

Визуальная часть игры — просто отличная. Вся игра выполнена в ярком мультяшном стиле, благодаря чему мир выглядит очень стильным и запоминающимся. Анимации сочные и живые: движения персонажей, стрельба, взрывы и трюки на байке смотрятся очень динамично.
При этом игра не стесняется показывать жестокость — здесь довольно много жестких сцен и крови. Из-за этого создаётся интересный контраст между мультяшной графикой и происходящим на экране.
Особенно запоминаются моменты с добиваниями боссов: после последнего выстрела включаются небольшие катсцены, и некоторые из них выглядят весьма забавно.

Сюжет рассказывает о постапокалиптическом мире, где птицы устроили ядерную войну против других видов и превратили планету в пустошь. Мы играем за Лайку — персонажа, который ненавидит птиц и обладает проклятием бессмертия. При этом Лайка пытается спасти свою дочь от той же судьбы — бесконечно колесить по пустошам и устраивать геноцид птиц.
История написана очень интересно: постепенно раскрываются детали мира, персонажи и их мотивации, а финал получился действительно сильным.

В целом игра однозначно стоит внимания. Как минимум ради того, чтобы гонять на байке по пустошам и делать безумные сальто — это оказалось неожиданно весело.

This game is like those motorcycle flash games where you have to balance yourself, but set in a grimdark post-apocalyptic world with a heavy focus on story.

Upsides-
>Well, the story.
>The artstyle is consistently gorgeous.
>The music fits perfectly, and the ability to change tracks on command helps prevent certain tracks from getting repetitive.
>The gunplay and gameplay both feel smooth and fluid. It's very nice to pick up and play.
>The atmosphere is on point, as you'd hope for with a game like this.
>The sidequests actually feel meaningful, I wanted to finish them all.

Downsides-
>The lack of any teleport or "Return to last used shrine" Item or ability is a huge downside in a game like this. It can make sidequests feel very tedious, just going back and forth through the same areas tens of times.
>For how difficult some of the enemy setups are, the bosses are just a joke. The chase sequence ones are fine enough, but for any boss with a healthbar, there's nothing stopping you from spinning in circles and mag dumping them.

All in all a very compelling game that I think will stick with me. If you like story games definitely give this one a shot.

游戏挺难的，容易红温，主角是玻璃大炮，打小怪是秒杀，自个儿受伤哪怕从摩托摔下来擦个地板也是秒杀，不过复活时间短和复活点密集弥补了这一点，但是地图挺大的同时传送点和稀疏，纯纯三百六十五里路，其实有点半成品的意思，因为部分过场动画的场景变化就没有怎么配音。主角是开摩托耍枪的，而且换弹必须通过后空翻，弹反能量是前空翻而且通常只有一次充能，操作很像是4399小游戏，但是w和s键是加速和刹车，左右是倾斜摩托角度，有时候搞不清摩托朝向，有时候下意识往右走按了D键，结果就是翘摩托然后摔下来。手柄适配了但是感觉手柄很难玩还是键鼠好一点，幸亏主角开枪有子弹时间，没有的话纯纯折磨王。音乐和手绘画风很不错，里面很新奇，背景音乐是地图上散落的磁带，收集之后可以放磁带机里播放，而且每张磁带还有特殊的封面和字体，很有意思。全收集和打通大概在16小时往上，而且这游戏没有多结局或者适配二周目的机制和内容，所以就是趁着打折20左右玩玩的小游戏。

Laika: Aged Through Blood is amazing; the game puts an insanely unique spin on the genre and feels like a breath of fresh air. The game is hard; I died hundreds of times, though this is intended. There is even an achievement for it and a lot of checkpoints, so it's hard to feel cheated when you die. But regardless of its fun gameplay that you will master over time playing it, its story is amazing, it's unique and mature, and it was very emotional and great to the end. This game is an underrated masterpiece that deserves more recognition than it gets.

Laika: Aged Through Blood оставила у меня очень смешанные эмоции после прохождения.

Начну с того, что действительно понравилось. В первую очередь — саундтрек. Он здесь отличный и очень атмосферный. Также понравилось то, как игра нарисована: стиль графики, дизайн и сама визуальная подача выполнены очень красиво. Плюс сама задумка игры выглядит интересной и необычной. В итоге именно сочетание идеи, визуала и музыки поначалу очень подкупает.

Но, к сожалению, дальше начинаются серьёзные проблемы.

Во-первых, сюжет и диалоги. Читать их просто невозможно. Где-то с середины игры, а может даже раньше, я начал просто скипать диалоги, потому что воспринимать их становится крайне тяжело.

Во-вторых — геймплей. Он показался мне ужасно душным. Сама механика езды на мотоцикле постоянно добавляет лишней сложности: можно случайно задеть какую-нибудь текстуру, мгновенно погибнуть и начать с ближайшего чекпоинта. Под конец игры это начинает откровенно раздражать и делает прохождение скорее утомительным, чем интересным.

Русский перевод тоже не улучшает ситуацию и местами только усиливает ощущение дискомфорта от чтения диалогов.

Учитывая, что игра относится к жанру метроидвании, я ожидал от неё гораздо большего. Возможно, кому-то она действительно зайдёт — особенно если вы любите метроидвании и готовы мириться с подобными особенностями геймплея. Но лично для меня негативные моменты перевесили.

В итоге я не стал бы рекомендовать игру. Мне кажется, есть гораздо более интересные проекты в этом жанре, которые действительно стоят времени. Честно говоря, если бы я знал об этом заранее, возможно, предпочёл бы просто купить саундтрек этой игры — и на этом остановиться.

I really love this game. There's so much I want to talk about and give my opinions. I love the characters and world this game takes place. I wish I picked this game up when it first came up but now that I've played my fair share of game this is my game of the year.

非常有特色的横版射击冒险游戏，十分推荐用键鼠玩，指哪打哪，手柄右摇杆根本瞄不远，只能目测大概方向，经常会打偏。
游戏角色通过摩托车进行移动，十分新颖，但刚上手会很不习惯，经常性会按AD去移动导致摔死自己。摩托车基本只能左右移动，上下移动得借助武器或者技能。这样就意味着地图设计被限制了，整体呈现横向展开。子弹补充需要通过后空翻来补充，让操做变得稍微有些繁琐，有时候平地上没子弹了还得折返找平台起跳来补充。
画风第一眼看上去很温馨很舒服，但战斗开始就画风突变，敌人被打得血浆喷溅、支离破碎。随着故事的深入也会发现如主角所说，他们生活在一个操蛋的世界。游戏的音乐我非常喜欢，故事意境表现得非常好，听着轻柔的歌曲，经历着残酷的事件，令人愤怒却有无可奈何。
武器感觉不少都很鸡肋，火箭筒要后期才能拿到，弩和机枪每次射击会一次性把子弹打完，但敌人都是一枪毙命，这就导致很严重的伤害浪费。霰弹后坐力太大，只能当作前期的小跳来用。最好用的还是手枪和狙击枪，有四发子弹，每次发射一发，狙击枪需要聚焦但有穿透伤害。

I just finished Laika: Aged Through Blood, and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s one of the best games I’ve ever played in my life, both narratively and gameplay-wise. Beneath its seemingly simple presentation lies a story rich with mature themes and layered metaphors that pull you in from the very first moments, often tugging hard at your heartstrings.

It’s also one of the most genuinely feminist games I’ve experienced; it is representation done right and a woman's tale to the core. Themes such as motherhood, social pressure, bodily autonomy, and the weight of expectation are handled with sincerity and nuance, never feeling forced or performative. And yes, Laika is an absolutely badass action mom.

In this fantasy post-apocalyptic setting, you step into the role of Laika: a stoic, gruff, middle-aged woman past her prime, with a weary soul clinging to the only two things left in her life, her love for her daughter, and her duty as the protector of her dying indigenous community against the threat of a genocidal empire, both responsabilities that fall heavy on her shoulders.

She is portrayed as deeply broken and worn down by a lifetime of bloodshed and the loss of countless loved ones, to the point that she envies the dead. Her generational curse of immortality, inherited from mother to daughter upon their first menarche, allows her to resurrect whatever she suffers a mortal injury at spiritual memorials, yet despite being vital for the survival of her people, it has never been a gift. Instead, it is one of the greatest sources of her suffering.

Forced to follow in the footsteps of her cursed ancestors as a shamanic road warrior known as the Grim Biker, Laika was denied the chance to live a life of her own. Refusing such a duty would have meant risking everything her people had left by leaving them vulnerable. Decades of violence and endless resurrection have slowly eroded her humanity, leaving her embittered and cynical.

Yet above all else, her driving motivation is her daughter.

She does not fight for glory, revenge, or even the illusion that she can fix the world. She fights to protect her kin and to ensure that her child doesn't inherit the same unforgiving world, heavy burden, and cycle of blood that shattered her own life.

Don't let the cute animal people or artsyle fool you, the game is profoundly sorrowful and bleak. It takes place in a desolate and ruined world that has long since lost its hope and innocence, and it presents that reality from the very beginning, from the death of a child in the opening moments to the songs composed by Beicoli. Her music is intrinsically tied to the game’s atmosphere, themes, and Laika’s emotional state. Even the most upbeat tracks carry a quiet sense of sad nostalgia.

This is one of those indie games clearly made with immense care, effort, and love by its creators. It feels like a piece of art above all else. I focused mostly on the narrative here, but the “Motorvania” gameplay is also incredibly fun; doing backflips on a motorcycle while lining up stylish shots on enemies just feels amazing.

Overall, Laika: Aged Through Blood is a deeply touching, mature, engaging, and genuinely fun experience. It’s a game made with passion, and it shows in every aspect of its design. I especially love how both items and quest descriptions give a deeper insight into Laika's inner thoughts, past, and personality.

Special praise must go to Beicoli for her incredible soundtrack. During the game’s development, she had a child of her own and helped shape the narrative direction of the story, something that clearly contributed to the emotional depth that makes this game such a masterpiece.

Добротная метроидвания на байке со стрельбой и управлением похожим на Gravity Defied, если помните такую. Есть достаточно интересные механики. Например, использование энерции от стрельбы для исследования мира или получения премущества перед врагами, или перезарядка, для которой тебе нужно буквально сделать сальто.
Прекрасная музыка от любимой Beícoli, не менее прекрасный визуал и чарующие персонажи прилагаются.
Сюжет достаточно тёмный, брутальный, не боящийся чувствительных тем. Благодарю за выплаканные глаза, ибо драмы тут хоть отбавляй. Но от неё не устаёшь, так как всё в тему.

10 психологических травм из 10. Однозначно рекомендую.

Очень редко пишу отзывы, но эта игра дала принципиально новые эмоции. Я не могу сравнить ее ни с одной другой игрой. Стиль, рисовка на высшем уровне, очень понравилась стрельба в стиле вестерна (когда после удачного выстрела у тебя появляются черные линии по бокам экрана). Саундтрэки в игре это как по моему мнению идеально вписывается в общий стиль игры, добавляет дополнительную атмосферу к одинокому путешествию по жестокому мира пост Апокалипсиса. Сюжет тоже цепляет, тут подробности не буду рассказывать, лучше самому попробовать поиграть в эту замечательную игру.

Argh, I really really want to be able to "recommend" this game but I'm not sure I can. There's tons of super fun ideas here, the visuals are gorgeous, at its best the game does a fantastic job making you feel like a total badass, and there's a narrative focus on your community that's unusual in video games. Sometimes your daughter calls you while you're out riding around, and you chat with her and ask her what she had for lunch. It's just those little personal interactions that very few games put in focus.

But. A lot of those cool ideas are working at odds, not in harmony. The beautiful visuals can be hard to parse when you're trying to aim while zooming along at mach 6. Riding your motorcycle sometimes feels more like Line Rider than anything else. It can be frustrating and slow just as often as it can be fast and high-octane. If you're interested, I think you should absolutely give it a go - and hey, there's a free demo! But I can't wholeheartedly recommend it.

[b]Музыка — просто шикарная![/b] Кататься по локациям под неё — чистый кайф. А игра ещё и напоминает, что героиня — мама: после десятка зачищенных врагов она может связаться с дочкой и спросить: "Обедала?" Это так мило, что влюбило меня в проект окончательно.

Rarely has a game ever made me feel emotional at the idea of finishing the game, but this, along with games like Nine sols, have touched me in ways not many other games have. Now, to get out a thorough dive into why I would recommend this game, I'll go a bit into what I love so much about this game.

Laika: Aged through blood tells the tale of a mother, and the ways the story goes about developing the protagonist, and the other characters is fantastic to me. The characters, even the side characters and some of the one off quest characters are a joy to interact with, having interesting characterization and good development, even if some of their screentime gets cut short. The game also excels in making a good set of villains/enemies as well, the bird empire being filled with horrible, unspeakable monsters, making it all the more gratifying when you kill them.

Speaking of gameplay, I've never seen a game mix motorbike mechanics with a metroidvania, tagging itself as a 'motorvania' of sorts, which is exactly how I would describe the genre myself. The simple gameplay loop of killing enemies in one shot, but them being able to do much the same to you, whilst being stead fast on a motorbike is never not fun, and I'd argue that this is another of the reasons why I find this game so engaging. Even the simple movement is fun as the environment allows for many backflips (which is needed to reload), and other such tricks, all in the pursuit to kill some birds. Boss fights are also good, but I would say the basic content of the game is far more interesting to talk about.

Now, the art and the music combined set the tone straight. The art style, whilst colourful and comic inspired, often doesn't shy away from deep, grim topics which the game is spades in, with most mainline quests ending in unfortunate tragedy to the dismay of the player, as the characters are just too darn likeable. Speaking of the music, whilst the basic soundtrack, the background noise is fine and fitting, I believe Beicoli's tapes found throughout the game put an interesting sound to the game, with upbeat sounds, but much like the art, hiding dark undertones that litter the game. The lyrics are often dark, but the general sound is literal music to the player's ears, often fitting the area the tapes are found in, or just as nice background noise whilst shooting down some birds.

Overall, based on all elements, I'd rate the game a solid 9.5/10, as it hasn't captivated me like games such as Nine sols, but has effectively instilled emotion and want within me. A good 15-20 hour game to knock out over a week or two- a recommendation for those engaged in post apocalyptic settings with darker undertones throughout, or if you're not one for video game stories, the gameplay still makes up for it, being a thrill to play through.
