I've been playing Brad borne's games since world 3, and it's really cool to see how much he's improved in animation, level design, and overall making a good game.
The controls are responsive and satisfying. Running around, rail grinding, dashing, jumping on platforms, and smacking spiders with a pencil feels great because of the games smooth, luscious, sexy animation. the character customization is simple, but you can still pull off some fly ass fits with the selection of hats and different colored pants. The only downside is that the game is pretty short. You could probably beat it in two or three hours. not that short games aren't a bad thing, but a game like this with this much polish all done by one person, (besides music) is more than impressive. The game feel alone yields a lot of replayability too. theres some side content and mini games, including a remastered version of the first fancy pants game. Theres one extra room in each level that wasn't in the original, and the whole game has its own collection of hats and pants variations you can get. (it's also really fun to speedrun)
Overall, its a great platformer that really makes you "feel fancy" with decent replayability. my etiquette has improved tenfold after finishing the game. 8\10
Snag it when it goes on sale for like two bucks

It's an amazing game! Music is good, the platforming is really fun, and the combat feels amazing. My one issue with it is the lack of an options menu. The game feels very laggy for me at times, and I sometimes just wish i could like turn on some performance things or turn vsync off (if it is on, cuz i think it might be)

Challenges are incredibly hard for no reason, most of them combine worst possible combos of different movements, no keybinding is absolutely terrible-I own 60% keyboard and I was not able to play the game, I luckily had controller but it was not better at all, at the "Volcano" stage I simply cannot use gliding on enemies since there is no such key on controller-I either use controller that is missing this feature, or keyboard that is missing arrow keys, both options prevent me from further progress.
Some items are very hard to find and without a tutorial its impossible to find some hidden doors-they're not even visible, not even a small hint, player sometimes has to guess if there is something hidden off screen. During certain challenges if player 'uses' (kills) enemy that was supossed to give us boost by jumping on them, game does not respawn enemies-and even if we survive we have to drop ourselves into void to restart challenge which is just stupid...
There is ton of bugs when it comes to movement, and to be more precise the momentum and textures conflict-many times I simply bumped into nothing when I had very good speed, I assume that character just reached speed limit and game simply resets the value by stopping us, its obviously very bad thing since whole game idea is built on gaining momentum...
Sadly nothing is done about those issues and dev cares about new titles rather than making already existing games better and actually enjoyable.

Excellent game and series that can still be enjoyed even after almost 2 decades of games. Its so fun to do cool tricks, move fast with slide boosts and the smooth animation, as well as the challenges. Maybe the art could improve a little bit but it still is a great game for me.

É um jogo lindo feito numa época que infelizmente não "existe" mais.
Nunca tinha jogado nenhum jogo do "Fancy Pants" (Sempre fui mais "Smash Flash", "Hobo", os jogos de flash da Disney, etc.), porém eu posso dizer que é um jogo bem legal e divertido. As animações são bem fluídas, a jogabilidade é rápida e a trilha sonora me dá uma vibe bem mais tranquila, me fez sentir uma criança no Click Jogos de novo. Minha única reclamação é que é muito curto.

I remember I played the original games on newgrounds, now after some years I come across this, I really enjoyed it so far but even tho this exact game launch [b]10 years ago[/b], there's no ending, from 2017 to now neither at least a chapter 2 or something, ofc I rather have a polished game that a rushed one but damn, it made me quite dissapointed, 3h almost 4 so far and I got almost all collectables, it is fun and the gameplay is clean, but at the moment Im writing this I cant really recommend this game at all,
[i]Edit[/i] so far it took me around 5h to get all the collectables in a "normal peace" (neither fast or slow) so yeah hope this helps

Buen juego, lo compre por que recordaba a este característico personaje de mi infancia y lo disfruto mas ahora que antes. Es cierto que me he encontrado algunos bugs, pero es normal y no interrumpen la jugabilidad.
Tambien es cierto, pienso que es mejor comprarlo de rebajas (a unos tres euros) que comprarlo a los diez que esta de normal.

I remember seeing a trailer for Fancy Pants Adventure on the Xbox 360 that featured custom clothes, accessories, and a pencil. You could use the pencil as a weapon to hit enemies, and it also had a multiplayer mode.
I was so excited to play this game with my little brother. Playing this game was one of my dreams, since I used to play the Flash version a lot.
At the time, my parents were still skeptical about online purchases, and I couldn’t find any physical copy of the game. As time passed, I eventually gave up on playing this version.
I’m happy that this version is now available on PC.

玩到疑似出bug的地方就退出来写评测啦。我不是在4399上看到的这款游戏，是在打折推荐购入的。游戏配乐真的很好听，关于玩法我不愿意多剧透，但是它真的很惊艳，很让人快乐。
我是在非常沮丧的时候打开它的，我觉得自己是个游戏黑洞，玩什么都卡关，没有任何正反馈，甚至会觉得讨厌游戏。然后看愿望单想着试一下吧，结果越玩嘴角越上扬，到出现铅笔那一刻感觉眼前一亮。
总之，是款很好玩，很让人快乐的游戏，我相信自己一定会通关的。

Muito bom, a movimentação é mais fluida que os outros jogos da franquia. As habilidades novas são muito legais também.
I enjoyed the old Flash games, and wanted a standalone version. As with the Classic Pack, this is not it. This is buggy, does not work on Windows 7 (doesn't get past the loading splash, even with VxKex) and complains about missing xinput1_4.dll. It also still seems to be Flash-based under the hood, so no reason why this ancient tech shouldn't still work on older computers like mine.

this game is short but it's very replayable thanks to the engine feeling so good after 10 years of refining it, the unlockable customizations and the additional levels on the arcade machines. The optional multiplayer mode is okay, it can be frustrating at times and that's only with 2 players. I have some issues with some of the level designs here and there but it's still a lot of fun just moving around
