Much better than KSP

controls are super duper easy and most things have a tutorial. sandbox is available at the start. only bad thing is i guess lack of weapons lol. also runs super smooth
I was looking for a modern version of KSP. This unfortunately did not scratch that itch. I would describe this as all the physics and math of a rocket simulator, without the whimsy, or charm of KSP.
This could best be described as a physics simulator rather than a game. The Rocket building is assembling basic geometric shapes with technical stats in a void. Flying the rockets is clicking go, adjusting a couple parameters, and then very patiently watching, hoping you did your math right. The graphics are basic functional shapes for rockets and planets, there is nothing graphically stunning like in a modern AAA space shooter, nor whimsical like in KSP.
While this did not hold my interest as a casual gamer. I can see this as popular with teachers in a classroom, to teach physics. Or as a curiosity for engineering fans, who geek out more on math than realtime gameplay or graphics.

Si estas buscando algo como KSP como yo aca no es, no digo que el juego sea malo, solo que no son iguales.
Juno se enfoca en la creacion de las naves, cohetes y demas lo cual es genial si te gusta modelar a tu antojo cada parte pero si quieres crear algo rapido y jugar es mas complicado.
No era lo que esperaba las fisicas se siente raras y los controles de vuelo no son buenos.
El juego funciona muy bien sin bajones de FPS ni nada raro.
Los graficos son bastante malos parece juego de los 2000. no hay ningun detalle estetico.

Every part of this game seems broken. Only positive over KSP is faster loading. Building UI is annoying because you have to click diff tabs after placing each part. Somehow this game inherited the part snapping bug from KSP, but none of the personality. I wish I didn't pay four dollars for this game.

i got specs way above the reccomended but im getting 2 fps on every graphic, how does that work?
I think it good for children to learn about physics and space technology by free to config anything they want.
So, I paid for KSP on day one of being able to pay for KSP. I played it until the eve of it being bought by a certain overwhelmingly awful publisher (in my opinion).
This game is better and captures the magic. But you know, I'm kinda burnt out on the genre anyways. I've done it all.
But this is great. This is the Dwarf Fortress (classic, ancient, pre-Steam) to the modern (awful, terrible, post-Steam) version.
10/10, buy this if you have an astrophysics degree. I do.
It's a really cool spiritual successor to Kerbal Space Program, but with more features: Resizable parts; better physics; larger assortment of runways/launchpads. Just a really cool little game!

This game is all i ever wanted KSP to be (Better QoL, Prettier, ..), but be warned : it is also much more difficult because it is more realistic.

Ughh. Too many things going on. Nothing is intuitive. Zero fun. Probably way over my head. Think I'm heading back to KSP.

This game is waaay more customizable than ksp but it also makes it way harder to actually make anything cool IMO. Also theres just not really a reason to do anything? Like you can get a contract to go to the moon and it is pretty cool to land on ig but theres no science, surface samples, or relay networks you can make so I guess its just for fun/money in the career mode? Ultimately I think it is TECHNICALLY a better game than ksp but it just doesnt feel the same?
Feels like KSP 1 as the graphics are not as good as KSP 2, fun game and easy to learn. Purchased on discount for £4 well worth the money would recommend if you like rockets and aerospace, I have played this for 16 hours at the time of review.

* manage to get into orbit of the murcury analog in this game and saved the orbit
* used said orbit to crash into the sun
* crash the game by making the craft go the speed of light.
10 outta 10, would recommend playing.

This feels like they wanted to make too many games in one game. You have airplanes and cars and rockets but none of them work because its just too much of everything!
I would say scrap it all and make juno2 about rockets only, then make the design simple and intuitive, I don´t need to change nozle size and whatnot just give me unlocks for better designs and call them what they are so I know what I need to put where... seriously loved KSP, this is just a "we wanted to make X but we also added Y and Z and try to make everyone happy"

gave this a try and essentially had a fight with the design system to build a simple RC vehicle that didnt look like a tube with wheels, it is unintuitive and reacts strangely to attempts to make things moe complex than that.
for example the RC car I attempted to make.
it took me googling to find out I had to place a micro chip onto the original control box to then select it, go to properties and change it to the primary to then get the ability to delete the original control box. after that setting the chip to "rover" mode set it at a vertical plane making anything attaching to it stick out at 90 degrees. adding a simple structural plate (to save weight over a cylindrical fuel tank) could only go at certain attachment points in weird locations and restricted in shape. adding batteries were equally frustrating as their size determined their power (good idea) but this often ment they engulfed the object they were attached too. when it came down to wheels, the tutorial says mirror it to automatically pair them together this only works if you havent modified orientation of practically anything as it will either mirror in the wrong direction (often inside of another wheel) or delete the part out right. this doesnt even account for the fact that by default reshaping or scaling a part does it side or corner by corner resulting in making a simple box larger a multi part process.
overall it was just a frustrating experience for what is ment to be a relaxing game.

I've been playing this game for a long time, even on Android, and it's the best rocket science and aviation simulator since Simple Planes and KSP. If you enjoy tinkering with details and solving problems, this is the best game for you. However, there are a couple of caveats:this game doesn't have an air brake like Simple Planes; you have to create one manually somehow.There is also a shortage of aircraft piston engines and turboprops, instead of them there are only electric ones. There's also no multilingual support. It's great if you speak English, but if not, you'll have to spend more time figuring it out. And finally, the weapons, while not the game's main feature, don't have the morning smell of bombs and machine guns😂 that Simple Planes does.
That's all, I hope the developers add this in future updates. If you don't have this game yet, hurry up and buy it and enjoy. Thanks to the developers, you're the best! 👍

Very well made game, I was able to run it on a old laptop and it still didnt lag one bit (execpt that time that i downloaded a whole ahh venator class star destroy). Plus it is quite fun to play when you have nothing to do, in which i made a pretty cool plane based of the Su-47 Berkut (cool plane go google it up)

I'm finding this game to be very interesting. I'm a new player to these space games and new to deep diving into the physics and math of rocket science. I found this game to be much more user friendly, I've tried KSP before but found that too confusing to get started with, without having to look through online tutorials. I like how the career mode will walk you though each new milestone, like trying to reach an orbit. I can't wait to understand enough of the science in game to be able to program the rockets. I really hope this game helps me gain a little bit of a creative mind and put to use my programming skills. I would 100% recommend this game. Take it easy, and remember it's only rocket science.
This game is a lot like Kerbal Space Agency. A lot.
Where it truly differs is in it's accessibility. Kerbal demands you put in the hours to really get to grips with it's intricacies, Juno New Origins reads instead like a game that looked at Kerbal, saw where newcomers found barriers, and made the changes necessary.
For example, where out-of-the-box Kerbal demands keyboard & mouse controls, the digital nature of keyboards therefore making fine-control difficult when in-flight, Juno allows users to use their game controller, and has a quite intuitive mouse-driven system which allows easy flight control to within a single degree of accuracy along 3 axes.
Where kerbal might ask you to find the best fitting fuselage parts when building a rocket, demanding that your build fits around the parts Kerbal gives you, Juno instead lets you warp, bend, enlarge and shrink a single fuselage-piece according to your own requirements, meaning Juno can get away with having far fewer vehicle parts to choose from, without leaving players FEELING like they have fewer options.
As Juno has far fewer assets available due to the clever way it allows you to change the shape and size of pieces, the game takes up far less space on the hard-drive, and because of this (and because Juno doesn't calculate the physics involved with warping of each item), Juno also runs much more efficiently than Kerbal does. This in turn allows you to build much larger vehicles that most could build in Kerbal before performance drops impractically low.
This game is an excellent Kerbal alternative if you find Kerbal hard to get into, or if you have rather low end hardware, or if you want to build huge rockets that would bring Kerbal to it's knees. It's flight control is much more enjoyable, allows for a far more analogue way of movement rather than the digital on/off nature of Kerbal's flight control.
While Kerbal appears to have a FAR bigger modding scene, modding in Juno is much easier, requiring less time, drive space and messing around to bring the game to it's very best.
I don't yet have any time in career mode, I cannot comment on this element of the game. All my time has been spent flying preset vehicles, and a small amount of time messing around in craft builder.

This game solves so many of the problems with KSP. It's a shame the player and modder community are so much smaller. If you want better physics and modeling than KSP, and don't mind losing the cute characters, you should give this a try.

Great game, nice physics and super cool graphics, although a graphics update would not be wrong. Yes, they are nice but I would prefer more realistic graphics. Another thing is, it is hard to get into it. You don't get to know all the different building blocks (?). It is really hard to get to know everything, but as soon as you are familiar with everything... It is insanely fun!

Skvělá hra na stavění raket a letadel. Fyzika je realistická, grafika vypadá moc dobře, přitom stavění kosmických lodí vůbec není složité. Hra je stabilní, bez výpadků FPS, užil jsem si u ní hodně hodin zábavy. Moc doporučuju 😊

Rudimentäre Grafik und schwer zugänglich. Dies ist was für Bau-Entusiasten mit Frustresistenz.
Hier können wir Fahrzeuge vom einfachen Auto bis hin zur Rakete entwerfen und steuern. Eine große Geschichte gibt es nicht zu entdecken. Wahlweise machen wir das im Sandbox-Modus (alles freigeschaltet und Geldsorgen hat man auch nicht) oder wir starten eine Karriere. Bei Zweiterem wird man rudimentär bei den ersten Schritten an die Hand genommen und steht danach trotzdem auf dem Schlauch. Mir ist es z. B. nicht gelungen, ein Flugzeug in die Luft zu bekommen (auch die mitgelieferten Modelle hatten den Erdboden schrecklich lieb). Sodass ich nach einer Weile recht frustriert vor dem Bildschirm saß. Ansonsten nehmt ihr im Karrieremodus Aufträge an und sammelt so Forschungspunkte und Geld ein. Wer Frust nur aus dem Wörterbuch kennt, kann sich hier evtl. durchbeißen. Dabei gibt es tatsächlich auch viel zu entdecken, man hat zahlreiche Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten, und die Konstrukte in freier Wildbahn zu testen, hat auch was. Aber leider lässt einen das Tutorial viel zu früh im Stich. Daher war es nichts für mich.
