Because of Steam's Yes/No review system, I have to choose one instead of something in the middle. In my experience I have to say 'No', because that's where scale tilts currently. Here's why:

I have owned the game for just under 2 years now. Most of my playtime is from when I bought it, but it was a buggy, glitchy, laggy mess so I haven't played much. I recently tried it again after a long break, mostly because I got notified about the "Massive Optimization" update on my News-feed.

Well, I honestly have to say that even with an upgraded (since last playing) higher-end PC the game still struggles to hit 60fps unless I lower the graphics. The 60fps I get with slightly higher graphics isn't actually 60fps since it drops frames every other second, stutters and tears no matter what I change in the settings. With 'performance' graphics it runs pretty well and doesn't look too bad. The performance has improved, but it still runs quite rough.

That's just the graphics and performance. Then there is the fact that it is still just as rough around the edges as it was two years ago. The driving physics are abhorrently bad. You get stuck in the slightest slopes like you are driving into a 90 degree wall. Sometimes the car doesn't want to turn and other times it will do a steep turn with the smallest bump in the road, as well as jumping around on the road like you had no suspension in the car. On top of all of that, turning the vehicle while driving just disgusts me. Normal turning makes the car drift somewhat in the direction you want it to go, but you have to course correct the car more than you actually turn yourself, because it just slides on the road instead of turning like you would expect a car to turn.

The player controls are quite unpleasant. Crouching is apparently time limited by a cooldown, so you can't always crouch when you need/want to, because you have to wait for some artificial nonsense. Running is confusing, because I have turned off stamina in the settings, yet the character just doesn't want to run sometimes even when I haven't ran in a while. Any lag spikes while moving the mouse can suddenly turn the character way more than intended.

This is the least of my issues from the ones listed, but the NPCs are very buggy as well. You have to spam click LMB to get through their dialog for tasks, but sometimes the NPC just does some buggy movements that cancels the dialog and you have to start over. Or sometimes I make the smallest mouse movement and it cancels the dialog. Or sometimes I have to move my mouse because the NPC is still "walking" while I try to talk to them and it cancels the dialog until the NPC finally realizes to stop.

Other than these issues, the gameplay loop itself is pretty fun and it definitely has some fun content. From just playing the game, I get the feeling that most of the development has gone into a few separate mechanics or concepts, but everything in between is just done haphazardly to connect the main features, but it is still playable. Not always too enjoyable though.

Ultimately I can't with good conscience recommend buying it for the full price. It's tough to even recommend buying it on sale because it feels like the game hasn't gone pretty much anywhere in the two years I have owned it (*), but I would note that I don't have that much overall time in the game, so make your own conclusions on that. If you are going to buy the game, I would wait for a sale. If you are iffy about it; I would recommend waiting a bit longer and following future updates on the game, since it is still in Early Access and has 'mixed' reviews at the time of me writing mine.

(*) Edit: For fairness, I will word this point differently: I don't think the game hasn't gone anywhere in the two years at all. I do think the game stills feels very rough, like it did when I bought it. There are a lot of small issues that I have personally experienced in my limited playtime, that cumulatively cause the feeling that the game hasn't really changed when it comes to all kinds of small issues emerging during gameplay, be it bugs, performance related or just personal gripes about game mechanics, physics, or the like. The game is in Early Access, developed by a small indie developer, so this is to be expected. Progress has been made, which you can see from the update logs, but this is not mutually exclusive with the experience of roughness. The game's concept and idea are fantastic! Lots of activities, mechanics, etc. BUT:
The controls are confusing and awkward.
The NPC models and animations are simply TERRIBLE.
Fog: Compared to the fog in the game, the fog in Silent Hill and the movie The Mist is just a light haze.
Traffic: why is there so much of it? The entire map is essentially one big garbage dump. How can there be traffic like on busy highways?
Character and object textures get stuck.
The game frequently crashes - "Fatal Error" (UE).
The navigator - well, it's very strange...
The map itself is very confusing and unclear. I never got lost like that in "Resident Evil."
The lighting in the object restoration and car painting area is TERRIBLE.
Overall, the game, despite its many flaws, is still addictive. Lots of interesting mechanics and activities. Perhaps they'll polish the game to perfection in the future! I wish the developers every success!!!

I like sim games. Check. I like destroying things. Check. I like cars. Check. I like junk yards. Check. Well, that seems about it. LOL
Actually, I bought this game because I was looking through the reviews when it was on sale and saw that the developer responded to every single review. Then I checked and the developer also responded to every community forum that I looked at. Then I noticed they put out updates all the time and have been doing so for years. Needless to say, I was very impressed and wanted to be involved so I bought the game. So far I have put in 22 hours and Im having a lot of fun. I think Ive tried every mechanic and overall I enjoy each one.
I highly recommend the game just because of the developers. I think they deserve our support. Now the game is still in early access but for me its already worth the money I paid for it, PLUS! Its a little rough graphically but definitely functional. Ive played the entire time on the controller although I have had issues which I let the developers know of. They immediately responded. Ive had the keyboard right next to me when I've had troubles and been able to back out or get out of any issue. I've ran all over the map and noticed walls appearing and disappearing but nothing game breaking. Has a good fast travel that I use quite a bit now. There is ton to do in the game and most of it is easy to figure out though there were a few things I had to try out before I understood. Its definitely a mixture of different games I've played. The driving is functional and I havent had any issues I couldnt back out of.
Make sure you check to see how much storage you have in each vehicle and cart. Make sure to buy food and stock it regularly. Explore, but dont get out too far from the road. Use the map and icons to find cars to renovate, they make you a lot of money. watch the pay your employees get or they will get upset and take away from your profits. It helps to have played other sim games before coming to this one, I dont suggest it for a first. I got through a lot of this game because Ive played a lot of other sim games. Most of all, have fun and try it out!
Encourage developers like this, who knows it may encourage others to do the same.

EDIT : yeah Developer.. i played it again as you requested. Game is still a mess , map is still has that post-Atomic bomb feel.
Vehicles are horrible to drive , Game has this Fuzzy Filter feeling even on the highest settings.
Look i am not going to pick and prod here. the game is a mess and i still do not like it. and because there is no way in hell i'll ever get a refund , this will just be another game in my library that'll never see the light of day again.
I figured not playing this game for a year or 2 the game would change , the map would change.... whatever. that's that. Do with that what you will .

Удивительным образом инверсия камеры заработала как положено. Игра во многих моментах очень душная, ладно хоть есть возможность автоматизации и спасибо за продвижение в этом направлении. Всё что вы кинули на пол и забыли пропадает - суйте в кладовые. при использовании стационарных техник обратите внимание на кнопку "tab". Особенно порадовала металлическая тара под названием "Название предмета 100$" - надеюсь оно таким и останется. приятно иметь 100 бачинских в металле.
Надпись на курточке: "Чтобы починить электронику достаточно протереть тряпкой, шлифануть и покрасить"
В этой гире возможно всё! Даже книга может стать - металлолом!
Оптимизация игры на уровне выше многих проектов! Очень необычно для игры в раннем доступе.

It's a great game to kill some time in. It's hard to learn and there are tutorials for everything. You jusst need to press the "T" button once you've selected something, a tutorial pops up. Heaps of reading and thinking but anyone who likes these sorta games will get the hang of it. Not disappointed at buying this game on sale at all.

Got stuck very early in the game when i couldnt figure out where to take scrap to sell it. Tutorial had you dropping it in a dumpster to sell but now that does nothing and theres never any explanation on how to do it, looking in the community guides and people say to take it to the crusher but you cant put small items in the crusher or the scrap bin next to it

Got this for $7, and I think I overpaid for it. This dev usually has pretty good simulators or at least a very good idea for a game. For junkyard simulator, it's pretty bad the game isn't really optimized well. The collision detection is junk, the tutorial doesn't really explain much. There are places you can't go but can see where there is junk. Even the small things, it's very confusing no sense of direction, taking an angle grinder to a speaker to refurbish it... I woulnd spend too much time or money on this again. At 7$, I feel it was too much.

EDIT: So you gave a response and I should respond to that;

- Renovation, getting jumpscared by the buyer call every time and being unable to refuse is weird. Why can't I keep what I've renovated, and display it?
- The renovation gameplay so far just seems to be "pixel hunt the bits of the texture that give progress, and feels somehow boring and soulless. Despite it being very similar to peer games in this area, it feels worse somehow; and I can't put a finger on why. Maybe because it's just done on a tarp on the floor, even with sandblasting which you'd usually do in a box for tidiness? It might be more busywork, but having to take it out back to sandblast and paint would make more sense and tie into the fantasy of the game some more.
- Scrap cars versus renovation cars. I can't spot the difference yet and I've not had a second car to renovate. I keep finding cool looking cars but they seem to only be for scrap. Why can't I choose what to do with them?
- Employees were a hard no for me because the fantasy of the game that's being sold here - at least, in the description and in the game up to that point - is that this junkyard is mine, and that being all for me to do all the tasks in, was what I wanted. I don't want to employ people to take away things-to-do, because that's wasting ingame money (which I want to optimise to maximise; not spend) to then have less fun (because I have less things-to-do; and I want to optimise to have MORE fun).
- Speaking of too many people; the questgivers in the junkyard are far too many and are incessant. I'd like to be able to tell them to go away, or just switch them off entirely. I don't want random quests. I just wanna take stuff apart and make it nice and put it back together.

To summarise;
Salvage and repair style videogames are a joy for me, and Junkyard Simulator is not what I'm looking for. It might, with some more development and more time, turn out to be exactly amazing and what I wanted; but right now the pickup and repair bits are a little dull and boring and lifeless, taking apart a car in restoration is even fiddlier than Car Mechanic Sim, finding random scrap is okay, and employees break the (implicit?) promise of this junkyard being all mine to fix and sort out.

I want to be alone; no questgivers, no employees, just junk to fix and tools to fix it with.

‎Претензии: играл в нее примерно полгода назад, скачал еще раз, зашел и ничего особо не увидел по изменениям. ФПС нет никакого. Выкрутил все на минимум, перезашел - ФПС как бы есть, примерно 160, но если осмотреться, даже на минимальных настройках просадка до 10–15. Хочется настроить графику не по пресету, а как в других играх более подробно.

‎По поводу странной игры: идея класс, а обучение посредственное, слишком много мусора в интерфейсах, карта непонятная, что делать - тоже не совсем ясно. Хотелось бы, может быть, механику разблокировки карты постепенно и более понятные цели установить для фри плея.

[h1] ПЕРЕДЕЛ ОТЗЫВА [/h1]
Колеблюсь между рекомендацией и нет, но игра цепляет. Вот несколько причин, по которым в неё стоит заглянуть (или хотя бы держать в поле зрения):

1. Игра развивается. Да, прогресс не семимильными шагами, но работа ведется, и детали становятся лучше.
[spoiler] Пример: буквально на днях разработчик анонсировал патч с оптимизацией - и да, она действительно стала лучше. [/spoiler]

2. Живой и отзывчивый разработчик. Это, пожалуй, главный плюс. Автор не забросил проект и реагирует на фидбек.
[spoiler] Личный опыт: из-за проблем с оптимизацией я не мог комфортно играть. Написал отзыв, и буквально через 10 минут разработчик связался со мной и предложил помощь в решении проблемы. Такой подход дорогого стоит. [/spoiler]

3. Интересная задумка. Потенциал у игры огромный. Очень хочется верить, что автор будет развивать её дальше, и мы увидим полный релиз с большим количеством контента.

4. Требования к ПК. Оптимизация пока "хромает", но, думаю, большинство современных сборок среднего сегмента потянут игру на нормальных настройках графики.

[h1] ПОЖЕЛАНИЯ РАЗРАБОТЧИКУ [/h1]

1. Интерфейс и настройки:
- Сделать, пожалуйста, более понятную карту.
- Переработать интерфейс (UI) для удобства.
- Добавить расширенные настройки графики.

2. Прогрессия в свободной игре:
- Сейчас выдается всё и сразу. Хотелось бы видеть экономику: например, начинать с нуля, копить на первый авто или собрать его самому и хлама, а не просто получать все. Постепенное развитие, покупка новых авто и их улучшение даст ощущение роста.

3. Награда за ремонт:
- Очень не хватает возможности прокатиться на машине, которую только что отреставрировал. Это было бы интересным завершением работы.

4. Экономика и сложность (главная боль):
- Сейчас всё слишком легко. Понимаю, что это симулятор свалки, но хочется борьбы за выживание.
- Финансы: Сделайте старт сложнее. Например, чтобы открыть переработку, нужно брать кредит с жесткими условиями.
- Добыча: Сейчас механика «нашёл машину под хламом — расчистил — протёр — продал» слишком прямолинейна. Нужно добавить вариативности и сложности, чтобы найденный автомобиль был редкостью, а не гарантированной прибылью.

5. Система поиска запчастей (вдохновение CMS 21):
Я понимаю, что это может немного выбиваться из концепции, но механику сбора авто можно докрутить.

Идея: На свалке можно находить не целиковые машины, а разрозненные части (кузов, двигатель, двери), остов машины (база) который можно покупать отдельно (или находить но редко), и ты уже бегаешь по свалке в поисках подходящих запчастей к . Это добавит разнообразия геймплею.

6. Автоматизация рутины:
-Бегать и бесконечно долбить мусор весело, но не долго. Со временем это становится "душно". -Подумайте над возможностью нанять бригаду рабочих NPC за игровую валюту, чтобы они занимались переработкой и всякой волокитой, пока игрок занят более интересными для него делами.

7. Система времени и быта:
Раз уж в игре есть шкала голода, почему бы не развить эту механику? Добавить систему сна, смену дней недели, возможно, какие-то ивенты. Это отлично сочеталось бы.

P.S. Еще раз насчет пунктов 4 и 5 про экономику и поиск запчастей: я понимаю, что они могут не до конца вписываться в текущую концепцию "симулятора свалки". Если видение разработчика другое — это нормально. Просто поделился идеями, которые, на мой взгляд, сделали бы игру интереснее.

Eine gelungene Simulation was die einzelnen Arbeitsschritte beim restaurieren der Autos angeht. Das war's dann aber auch schon. Die Minispiele sind eher schlecht als recht. Die Gestaltung der Charaktere schlichtweg schlecht. Und wenn man nicht die ganze Zeit die Einzelteile restaurieren will, wird einem auch sehr schnell wieder langweilig - Story ist unübersichtlich gestaltet und die Dialoge... (ich soll es nett ausdrücken, geht leider nicht) Übersetzungsfehler häufen sich im Verlauf des Spiels. Ursprung wahrscheinlich Spanisch.
Leider nicht empfehlenswert.

I bought this game October 14th 2021 and the game has had a TON of changes (mostly for the better). I will start with this game kinda hands most stuff to you, various machines and scrap processing methods are "bought" but in a way that the game pays you to buy them; that is my biggest issue. The game is very much improving, If you like the idea of this game and dont want to wait for improvements I would wait for full release, but if you like a game that grows and changes over time, check it out! The devs are very respondent and always trying to fix bugs.

I saw this game on sale and it looked promising, then I checked the reviews and I saw that people don't really like the game due to the fact that its buggy and repetitive, which made me hold back and not buy it, until the next day when I realised that the developer is replying to almost every single steam review, helping people, telling them why are the things happening like that and so on. They are a 2 developer team with a really ambitious project, yeah, this game is buggy, but in my case, it still does not take away the fact that its fun, I like the renovating part a lot, I love the fact that I can transform a wreck in a brand new car and use it, you even get to manage your own Junkyard which basically is your passive income besides reconditioning cars and renovating car parts or items to sell and besides all that, you also need to buy food to eat, which is something that's not really seen in this type of games where you are mainly treated as a robot who doesn't need any food. The dev will always reply to every notice and he really listens to the community (which is rare to see nowadays). So yes I do recommend this game, I can't wait to see how the game will look once it will leave Early Access!

Поиграв 2,5 часа решил написать отзыв. Если вам нравится реставрировать машины, исследовать территории или развивать навыки то можно купить по скидке за 200 с чем то рублей (также могу посоветовать игру Car Mechanic Simulator 2021). В самой игре я провел мало времени, поэтому не особо в ней разбираюсь, но всё же интерес есть.
Из плюсов можно отметить:
1. Хорошую задумку игры
2. Процесс реставрации
3. Более менее понятное обучение
Из минусов:
1. Лаги
2. Не совсем понятное управление
Но так как игра в раннем доступе, я думаю что со временем она станет более понятной и разработчики улучшат её.

Bought it in a sale so its not that bad. however, i would not recommend to buy it for full price. game gets repetetive very fast, its extremely clunky and alltogether not that deep in details even though it looks impressive at first. you will start doing the same things over and over very quick and there is no need to ever worry about money since you can just find an old car for restoring, the money of which beats everything else thats in the game ... i give it a 3/10, dont buy unless you find it for dirt cheap as i did ...

таким был мой первый комментарий. И детальный разбор игры и причин, почему она не зашла.

После внесений обновы и рекомендаций разработчика, который заботливо мне помог разобраться и практически под руку вернул в игру. я поменял мнение! Во первых, это первая игра, разрабы которой реально любят свой продукт и заботятся, развивают дальше его!!! Это очень редкое явление в наше время, во вторых, это первый разраб который мне ответил и позаботился о моей проблеме.

рекомендую игру и издателя, думаю эти ребята еще не раз выстрелят с другими хитами.

its really REALLY glitchy and it takes a while to understand literally anything that happens

edit- i enjoyed this game at the beginning but over time things really aggrivated me. why is there like 3 different scrap areas that all serve the same purpose, why are there 2 different ways to fix up cars, and why doesnt anything in this blasted game make any sense at all

Its not a bad game. I got surprisingly into it. I did run into a few bugs but resetting the game seems to have fixed it. My biggest issue is a QOL thing. I'm red/green colorblind and some of the minigames, and even the map itself are extremely difficult to navigate. This is something I've grown accustomed to in my 30 years of life so I can adapt, with some difficulty. Despite that i did enjoy the minigames. There is surprising amount of things to do and its been really fun and laid back game

However I will say that taking apart the first blue car in the tutorial was extremely frustrating. I could not tell what was blocking what because they used a red outline to show you what is blocking it. I ended up having to click everything just to find the piece I needed to dismantle first. I can't change the colors in windows as that would affect not only other games but other programs as well and its just a giant hassle to have to switch back and forth. I ask the developers to please add a colorblind feature.

I applaud the developers for creating a game with a lot of different mechanics going on.

The game very much feels like it rushes through all the mechanics during the story mode, I very much wish the game slowed down so that you can truly get a feel for the mechanics before throwing you the next system.

I strongly dislike the restoration system, it is both overly complicated and way too simple all at once.

you have to remove 200+ components from vehicles, but then you can only work on 7 components (based on the tutorial) and those have very limited processes (brush, sand blast & paint for bodywork).

To me it feels like a game that cannot decide what it is, If it is a junkyard simulator it should focus on that more.

Performance wise it runs well on my PC (much better than Used Car Simulator).

I cannot comment on what waste disposal games I would recommend over this (only seen videos & steam page of rivals), but if its more the car side things you are interested in these are my recommendations:

Working on cars = Car Mechanic Simulator 2021
Car Dealer = Car Dealer Simulator
Car Theft = Used Cars Simulator

E per quanto riguarda il gameplay, il gioco ti prende per mano e ti spiega passo passo molto chiaramente come si gioca (Veramente fatto bene)!

Nach 60 min im Tutorial habe ich abgebrochen und das Spiel zurück gegeben.

Was ich bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt gesehen habe:

Eine noch ausreichende Grafik, vor 10 Jahren war sie mal gut :-/
ist für so ein spiel auch noch in Ordnung.
Sound würde ich durchaus als gut bezeichnen, die Geräusche passen zu den Geräten und Maschinen.
Die Handhabung von Fahrzeugen und Geräten habe ich als Befriedigend empfunden.

Was mich gestört hat war das bei den Renovierungsarbeiten der Bearbeitungskreis, wo z.b. mit der Hand und Putzlappen Gereinigt wird, der Bereich von der Hand überdeckt ist und man nichts sieht.

Mein Persöhnlicher Hauptgrund zum sofortigen Abbruch und Rückerstattung war jedoch etwas banaleres...
Ich bekam Hunger, im Spiel....

Liebe Entwickler,
wenn ich ein Survival Spiel haben möchte,
kaufe ich keinen Schrottplatz Simulator.

My PC Specs aren't the best, but the game is considered unplayable even at the lowest setting and no 3d resolution. Everything was fine until after I finished my first renovation and went back outside, my constant vsync locked 60 FPS went all the way down to 12 and sometimes going to single digits. Now this might be because my graphics card is on the verge of killing itself, but I'm mentioning it just incase other people have the same issue. The game also doesnt seem well polished and somewhat repetitive, although i havent played much of it. I'm going to try a bit more of the game after troubleshooting and trying minimum settings again, but if it doesn't go well, Im going to try and request a refund.

EDIT: I restarted my pc after doing some troubleshooting and the game ran good afterwards, still looking into my graphics card issue though! I also saw the response, this is by far the fastest response Ive gotten from a developer so far. I did try the DPI fix you recommended and it did seem to work. Im not worried too much about specs as after I get a new set of tires for my truck (in real life lol), im gonna start working on upgrading my pc! Aside from stale(ish) gameplay, after getting it to a constant vsync locked 60 fps, I liked the game! Cant wait to see how it looks after it leaves early access.

Spent 3 hours on this game following the sloppy controls and awful tutorial just for it to crash and corrupt my save. Even 66% off it's not worth the frustration. STILL in early access stage 5 years after release should have been enough of a red flag.

Repetitive Gameplay Loop
After several hours, the gameplay becomes predictable:
Dismantle → Sell → Repeat.
There isn’t enough variation in tasks or unexpected events to keep things engaging long-term.

2) Optimization Issues
Performance drops can occur, especially when many objects are loaded in the yard. Some physics bugs and interaction glitches can break immersion.

Despite being marketed as a management simulator, the strategic elements feel shallow. There are no strong economic systems, competitors, or complex decision-making mechanics.

4) Basic AI and Interactions
Customers and NPCs feel functional rather than dynamic. There’s little meaningful interaction beyond buying and selling.

How It Could Improve

Add special contracts or competitive auctions. Introduce a reputation system that affects the quality of vehicles you receive. Include random events (theft, inspections, major equipment failures).
Expand employee management with skill-based workers.

What I write for this review is the experience I had with the game, everybody will experience things differently. This is my honest review if you don't like it well tough. Also no game is safe from a review whether it's early access or full release, now onto the review.

Junkyard Simulator is game where you find abandoned cars, worn furniture & scrap. You can take out the engines in the cars & than scrap the car body for random scrap items. The worn furniture can be refurbished & than sold. The scrap can be sold.

Item Market: you make money by the things I said before but some stuff can be worth less or more depending on the item value changing in the item market. So stocking up on tons of random scrap is a good idea until you can sell at big price.

Exp: You can get exp by doing jobs/tasks. I believe you can get a higher exp amount if you increase bonus amount but not entirely sure. I'm still confused on how the exp bonus system works.

Performance: My pc specs goes beyond the requirements of the game & yet the game will lag randomly & my character will look in a random direction. When the game first came it, it preformed horribly even on all setting set to low. 5 years later its gotten a bit better but I still encounter the random lag & character will still randomly look in different direction.

I was hoping this game would be better 5 years later but its not, even playing it for the last 2 days I was getting frustrated with the mechanics & the performance issues. So I would have to say this game is 4/10 making it under average.

OK, after trying out a lot of the already implemented mechanics, I wanna share my feedback as well.

Let me start with a confession: I can't remember having bought an Early Access game before. And I'm almost 9 years on Steam. And I usually only ever buy at 80+ % discount, due to my fantastic superpower called "patience". ;-) So why have I bought this game despite being in EA and at a discount I'd usually just skip over? Because of the dev and his style of response. THAT he responds that much is already extraordinary, but I'm way more impressed with the coolness and lightheartedness and not taking things personal even though some reviews are written in an insulting way. That gives me tremendous hope for the future of the game and I want to use the power of my wallet to appreciate and support this style of behavior.

On the technical side I don't have issues with the game so far. Little things only, inconveniences, nothing game-breaking (like I've assembled the first own car and I can't find it anywhere). Content-wise there's A LOT of things to do in this game, in a variety I've not seen before yet, so looking forward for the changes to come.

The only thing I'd like to see an improvement on - if I could wish for something - would be for the restoration part where you have to hold the mouse button for extended periods of time (for cleaning, polishing, painting, etc.). I've started with computers in 1991 and I'm playing a lot and I'm working on a computer the whole day, but I've never had issues with my arm muscles/tendons, but this made them hurt badly, so I had to pause for a while. I'd highly appreciate some kind of "button locking mechanism", but that's basically my only complaint.

Thanks for this wonderful experience, I had a lot of fun so far and I'm exited for what you still have in your quiver.

I enjoy playing Junkyard Simulator, but sometimes it feels there are three games in one. I like crushing vehicles and scrap piles. I like the forging mini-game and restoring the junkyard. I like restoring individual items. I wish these three things were more… unified?

Like if you could crush a car, gather the metals, and then forge them into ingots, or even make your own metal alloys. And instead of instantly selling everything you restore, maybe you could place them in a house as decoration? And the restoration aspect of using tools and leveling them up is quite fun, but underutilized. Perhaps there could be pieces of scrap that require you to use your tools to break it down before collection? (Besides the sledgehammer)

8/10 overall, lots of potential and already fun to play!
