ЧТО ЗА ИГРА
Это игра, с которой братья Трез передрали свою CyberKnights. В отличие от изделия братцев (если хотите, посмотрите мой отзыв на CyberKnights), Invisible очень стильная и логичная:
• Визуал в стиле арт-деко. Внятный интерфейс. Анимация забавная и информативная, не тратит зря времени игрока – примерно как в Antihero.
• Easy to learn, hard to master. Много разных элементов => позволяет смешивать и пробовать. Каждый выбор игрока имеет последствия.
МИНУС ИГРЫ
К сожалению, использовать это изобилие и разнообразие на полную катушку не получится – игра короткая. Даже удлиненная ("extended") кампания из DLC состоит из десятка сценариев, причем два из них – скриптованные (про "transporter" и финальный). Вы просто не успеете накупить предметов, прокачать агентов и т.д.
Якобы есть Endless mode, но это неправда. Это та же "удлиненная компания", что и в DLC. На четвертый игровой день Endless mode мне предложили уже пройденный на четвертый же день "удлиненной компании" скриптованный сценарий про "transporter".
• Не знаю истории вопроса, но ощущение, что разрабы оформили уже проданный раньше кусок Endless mode как отдельную кампанию для DLC. Если так, то "Парадоксу" есть чему у них поучиться.
КАК ИГРАТЬ
1. Это единственная известная мне компьютерная игра, которая учит избегать поражения. Как в шахматах: если оттянуть мат хотя бы на ход, то возникает шанс, что противник сделает ошибку.
2. Я поставил некоторые опыты про честность игры. Похоже, динамической сложности тут нет [т.е. игра не становится сложнее, если игрок лучше экипирован, у него больше агентов, т.д.]. Однако рискну предположить, что есть "как выскочу, как выпрыгну", если игрок не бережется [например, поставили агента открыто – тут же входит патрульный].
Также возможно, что есть разница в трудности в зависимости от выставленных условий (0 rewinds; endless mode), хотя формально не должна бы.
Наконец, есть ощущение, что сценарии не генерируются случайно, а берутся из пула уже готовых (pre-made). Возможно, с добавлением небольших мутаций в виде тупиковых комнат. В интервью для "Rock, Paper, Shortgun" владелец разработчика Jamie Cheng упоминает проблемы с процедурной генерацией – не удивлюсь, если к выпуску игры их так и не преодолели.
Ещё раз – это всё ощущения по результатам наблюдений, в код я не лазил.

3. Часто убивать нельзя – очень быстро повышается уровень тревоги.
Вырубать всех встречных охранников нежелательно – они придут в себя и начнут охоту. Поскольку цель и выход часто находятся в противоположных концах уровня, то вам придется проходить обратно мимо всполошенных охранников.
Остается пропускать охранников мимо, отвлекать их, играть в кошки-мышки.
• Только обязательно попутно обчищайте охранников. Для этого надо повысить хотя бы у одного агента анархию до второго уровня.
4. Из предыдущего следует, что нет нужды гриндить изначально заблокированных агентов, чтобы пройти финальный сценарий базовой кампании на эксперте. Стартовых Деккера с Интернешнл вполне достаточно.
• А освобождать по ходу кампании дополнительных агентов даже вредно – большую толпу сложнее спрятать.
5. Если проходите кампанию ради ачивки, то берите базовую, не "extended" из DLC. Даже не из-за продвинутых врагов, а просто в длинной кампании легко пустить работу под откос (слот сохранения только один; сохранение автоматическое). Особенно ближе к концу, когда сценарии становятся сложными.
• Когда я играл кампанию без отката хода ("0 rewind"), то не стал выполнять задания в двух сценариях перед финальным – именно из-за боязни всё запороть. Просто эвакуировал агентов, и всё.
6. Обязательно посмотрите гайды. Там много дельного и про возможности игры, и про ржавые гвоздики в ней. Хотя, конечно, личный опыт ничто не заменит.
• Например, вот ржавый гвоздик, про который я не видел в гайдах: после применения EMP или способности доктора Ксю можно залезть не во всякий девайс. В сейф можно, а в нано-фабрикатор – нет. Более того, он становится недоступным (!) – до восстановления фаер-волла (!!). После чего его можно вскрыть обычным путём, Инкогнитой или чипом.
ИТОГО: Игра имеет огромный потенциал реиграбельности, оставшийся нереализованным. Но освоить её занятно.

Very neat turn based puzzle-strategy. Very immersive theme of agents set in a near future cyberpunk reality. Well balanced missions with a variety of obstacles and challenges, along with resource management and agent builds. Once the campaign is complete, the game scales into Endless, allowing you to continue to master your agents and build without feeling like you are just re-hashing the same content.
Beat the story on regular and honestly it's good, but not for me. 7/10.
Je viens de terminé le mode Débutant, je maitrise donc les bases du jeu.
Ce jeu est un excellent jeu tactique de puzzle stylisé au tour par tour. Je considère qu'il entre dans la catégorie "puzzle" car il s'agit surtout de trouver le bon enchainement pour remporter la partie.
J'ai directement arroché dès le début mais je dois avouer que j'étais un peu perdu concernant comment devait se terminer la partie.
Le principe est simple, vous avez 72h (heure fictive) pour constituer votre équipe, en récoltant des équipements, des aptitudes, des nouveaux membres et en améliorant les caractéristiques de vos agents à travers des missions. Missions que le joueur peut choisir selon ses besoins. Après ces 72h vient l'épreuve finale avec une difficulté plus élevée.
J'aime beaucoup ce style. C'est intense, réussir une mission donne vraiment la sensation d'avoir réaliser un coup de maître sans être trop long.
Les différents niveaux de difficulté et la variété des aptitudes, équipements et agents sont de bons éléments pour diversifier les approches et donc le signe d'une bonne rejouabilité.

ステルスゲームで重要な敵のAIですが、適度なランダム性もあり単調になりすぎず、超反応で近づいてきたりする理不尽さもないのでこの辺は適切かと思います。
イージー、ノーマル、ハードと３回クリアしましたが、最後まで緊張感の続く難易度調整でした。
ステルスゲームでローグライクなので、ともすれば難しくなりすぎたり簡単になりすぎて作業ゲーになりそうなところですが、油断できない状況が続くのがよくできているなと思う一方、上手にプレイすれば鮮やかに余裕をもってクリアできるという風にはあまりならないのでプレイスキルが向上することの喜びは感じづらいかもしれません。
期待しすぎず値段と相談して買うのがいいと思います。
Very satisfying tactical RPG, with mechanics that make the "urgency" feel compelling but manageable! I loved how customizable everything felt between augments, items, and programs. Some interactions felt a little unclear, but I found it pretty easy to overcome any mistakes I made due to UI confusion. The characters are charming and well voice-acted.

Tried the first mission.
You can knock out an enemy but you can't kill him. You can't even tie him. At the same time you can't help but knock him out because he is watching your only one route to a quest item. So, alarm is inevitable after 3 turns when he will be walking again.
Okay, fine. Now you are not able knock out two enemies in row, your stun gun got tired and needs rest. Feels hard like the first "Commandos", but levels are generated procedurally , so you can't make the final strategy even after multiple tries.
I mean, stealth takes time even without such complications. If I still have to go for good old ultraviolence, give me a proper abilities then. Why in the world in the dystopian future should I take out guards gently? And that's after a massive shootout in the prologue.
Johnny Silverhand would be proud.

I bought this game when it was released, but I couldn't really get into it. I've now tried to give it a second chance. Sadly, I still can't recommend it.
At first glance, it seems to be a very cool game: The cyberpunk setting, look and feel, and smooth gameplay suggest that it should be a really good turn-based title.
Sadly, what lets Invisible Inc. down is its randomness. Procedural generation can work well in some cases, but this is not one of them. I had to restart many maps several times until the game presented me with a layout that worked. This becomes increasingly frustrating as you progress through the game. Ultimately, this is another game that could have been magnificent if only it relied on handcrafted maps.
Its a fun game, I haven't played since the update so will write a review after that.

Game seems fine, but text size is ridiculously small, and there's no UI scaling option in the menu.
I found it a bit hypocritical that the game has color blind features for accessibility but not text size adjustment. I know it is an old game, but it's still sold on Steam, so the developers should have at least tested it on modern hardware. My monitor isn't even that new, just a regular FHD screen, and I already had to squint to see the basic dialogues. Skill icons are like ants on my screen.

A nearly perfect squad tactics game, with a slim but engaging plot, interesting puzzles, and a lot of replayability. One of the earliest games to give you "perfect forward knowledge" so that the puzzles are about figuring out what to do, not depending on some die roll or missing information. If you haven't picked it up and played through it, recommended!
It's pretty good. It's like an XCOM game but it feels different because the goal might be to avoid combat. There's also pressure to move fast, which makes it not easy to avoid. It becomes a balance where it's not obvious what's best. The upgrades you choose are also very powerful and can greatly change the way you play. A lot of different tactics and replayability.

Игра вполне сознательно построена так, что бы с одной стороны всегда давать игроку теоретический шанс пройти миссию без задоринки, с другой - помнить все переменные очень тяжело, потому ситуации "Ой, блин", периодически случаются, и такие миссии самые весёлые и запоминающиеся.
This game is excellent, among the best tactical turn based games out there. How I wish it had a sequel. I absolutely love the cyberpunk vibes and how challenging it can get.

This is a decent and challenging turn-based stealth game. It has an okay main story campaign that isn't very long and it's fun to play. I'd definitely say it has replay value, for the challenge alone. It has a decent art style and some okay music. Nothing fancy but its good. I didn't personally encounter any bugs.
I would recommend it, if you're looking for an isometric stealth game.
Invisible, Inc. is a pretty unique experience that I keep finding myself coming back to. It hits a lot of the vibes I like from real time stealth games even though its turn based. The atmosphere is really cool in this game, I like the music and the sounds and the sci-fi corporate building aesthetics.

Invisible, Inc. is one of those games that makes you say “this is brilliant” and “this is nonsense” in almost the same breath. On the surface, it does everything right: slick cyberpunk art direction, a moody soundtrack, and a story that fits the stealth-espionage theme perfectly. Mechanically, it is turn-based tactical strategy… but with a roguelike twist that clearly woke up one day and chose violence. The difficulty scaling is wildly inconsistent: “Easy” often feels like “Good luck, agent,” thanks to randomly generated maps that can drop you into situations that are borderline impossible for the difficulty you selected. And that’s the real problem. When a game advertises difficulty options, you expect some kind of learning curve, not a wall. As an experienced turn-based tactics player (the kind who survives XCOM on nightmare settings), needing dozens of hours just to clear Easy feels less like challenge and more like design shrugging its shoulders and saying “deal with it.” At times it genuinely feels like the game is daring you to quit.Final verdict: A stylish, clever, and often frustrating stealth tactics game that knows how to punish but forgets how to teach. Recommended only for hardcore turn-based masochists with an unusually high tolerance for frustration. Score: 5/10. Great ideas, great style… and a difficulty curve that forgot what a curve is.
This is a very fun game. I've poured over 200 hours into this game on PS4 and it was a treat to play again on PC, even more so with mods that bring about many quality of life improvements. I recommend it for anyone that's a fan of turn-based strategy games

Play hide and seek with corporate security using a shadow run type game engine. A rogue-like that uses a different method to entertain. $20 is about the right price for what you get.
(long version)
I'm mostly recommending this game based upon it's price, $20 is a good price for what you'll get in this game, $15 would be better. It's essentially hide and seek using the shadow run game system i.e. ability points, power points, and the shadow run grid/visibility system.
The good: Graphics are different, full voice acting (they do a good job), the hide and seek system works well.
The bad: The game is pretty punishing after the tutorial, I get that you're intended to lose, but when I played my first level I didn't even know if I achieved my objective, and I'm confident I cleared every room. I'm assuming it was a skill issue on my end, but it may have been a bug. Honestly I'd rather just play shadow run; I'm not much interested in the "tag" type games, where you as the player lose automatically if the adversary catches you.
I want to love this game very hard.
It has such excellent vibes. It's very, very good overall.
But.
It's faulty. Sometimes, at most unexpected moment screen blinks and controls stop to respond at all.
It can happen at any moment. Your turn, enemy turn, activating Incognita, switching between agents, interacting with something... Just tiny teeny blink and bam. Music plays, but you can't click anything. As if all interface elements just somehow get corrupted, they highlight when mouseover-ed, but don't respond to clicks.
Further, you just lose random amount of progress. It can kick you back to very first turn on reloading. And you can't predict it.
This could be such an excellent game...

Bravo to Klei Entertainment on this magnificent turn based spy game. The storyline and artwork are phenomenal - I can't tell this is a 2015 game, the game feels like a new release in 2025. My only con is I really hope Klei will come out with another Invisible Inc!

I dont know something bout it man
While there is more to this game than what I played to completion in 5 hours (at Beginner difficulty), there wasn't more for me to be interested in.
It was a decent puzzle game but, as noted above, rather short. I expect that the plan was that replayability would be found through higher difficulties with new agents and new abilities (unlocked through XP gathered when one completes a campaign), but the gameplay loop wasn't as interesting as the story, and with a short story, there wasn't more for me to do.
I suppose I was expecting a kind of XCOM level of depth and that might have coloured my experience, but if you like short puzzle loop games, this might be for you ... it looks and plays great, the setting is sharp and characters distinctive, the rewind mechanic plays into it feeling like a puzzle, and it has a lot of nice gameplay touches, like the 'ok' button when dialogues complete flashing and beeping. Cudos to the design team.

Более того начало даже очень зашло - нас рассекретили, непонятно кто ведет охоту, открываются новые агенты и заказы. В общем первая треть игры отлично развлекала, но дело в том, что из-за случайной генерации мира не так много интересных вещей можно сделать. Обычно это повышает реиграбельность, но зачем она нужна если выбор действий невелик. Вдобавок игра постоянно вынуждает тебя находиться в цейтноте, а я терпеть не могу миссии на время. Проходил, скрепя зубами, ставлю 6.0 и не рекомендую. При этом уверен, что многие останутся в восторге.

This is one of the best turn based ever, along with FTL and Slay the Spire.
Excellent tactical TBS. I've been playing with the DLC so I got no idea exactly how much it adds but there's a lot of ways for a particular playthrough to go depending on your starting agents and what you can get going once everything is left to fate depending on the missions you go on and what you find once inside.
Definitely you need to start to play in beginner mode with all the failsafes in place because its very easy to commit mistakes while you learn your agents strengths and weaknesses not to mention all the enemies and the level's defenses.
Seems like you can go in full stealth, nonlethal or go full homicidal and clear everyone out depending on playstyle its all viable but you need to unlock agents through playthroughs to get a good combination going with at least your starting pair (the DLC gives you four more choices from the get go to go along with the two starters). But that's part of the the old school fun vs what is standard now and paying to 'unlock' new characters instead of through actually playing the game itself.
The game basically remained invisible in my game library for a decade but no more. If you're a genre fan and you haven't tried it yet... get around to it when you can.

Great game, can be customized for very different audience, from complete amauteurs of TBS strategy games to veterans. What I personally like the most, is the tension during the missions, hard choices the gameplay presents, high stakes (especially on Expert difficulty, which I am about to beat someday), objective-oriented stealth missions instead of "kill-them-all". Also, you have good variety of characters, augments, hacking programms, devices and weapons to deal with threats the way it suits your playstyle. Apart from that, you can manipulate your enemies by abusing their periferal vision and hearing to place them where you need them to be or to lure them out of crucial location.
The beauty of this game is that your tiny inattention or mistake can lead to a cascade of negative events which can turn your strategy upside down and turn your squad of elite spies in bloodthirsty chickens running for their lifes to the exit.
It is really action-packed with minimum "meta-gameplay" where you should manage your base, so the 90% of time you spend in the game, you are engaged in tactical simulations, not the high-level management. One campaign can take about 5 hours probably, so it is pretty short and not so tedious like some Xcom / Xenonauts games, for example.
Every choice, be it on a tactical level (AP or Power spending), economical (Credits and XP spending), or mission selection (rewards and enemy defences choosing) - is crucial. But as I said, you are not spending dozens of minutes by meta progressing your squad or base. The decisions are pretty quick on a strategic level.
The title has roguelite elements, cause no matter the campaign results, you always progress and unlock new starting hacking programms and characters, so even if you fail, you get some kind of reward for your tries which can enrich your experience, let you try other playstyles. Given how many modificators influence procedurally generated missions, campaign walkthrough is never the same.
I also like the artstyle. Given that the Invisible, Inc. takes place in dystopian cyberpunk universe, its artstyle is cartoonish and not grim and dark. I kinda like that for a change as well.
All in all, I like it and will probably try myself with Expert difficulty.
Great little indie gem, a tactical turn-based stealth game mixed with roguelike elements.
Agents with individual skills, a lot of upgrades, tools and augments. Extremely tense, as every turn the alarm will rise and escalate the defensive systems. Offensive options are very limited and death is permanent if you can't carry your agent to safety, so stealth really is the way to go. It also has a great hacking system. The campaign is short but procedural level generation offers countless replays. Quite challenging at times.
Contingency Plan DLC takes the campaign from three days to five days.

A fun strategy and stealth game with lots of replay value, thanks to the variety of characters and playstyles you can choose from.
I feel it’s an underappreciated gem, every run is tense, and the noir aesthetic perfectly complements the high-stakes stealth gameplay. I’ve spent a lot of time with this one over the years, and my hours here don’t even come close to the total. A Klei classic.

Fantastic sneak-'em-up. Take the turn based combat from XCOM (or similar) and mix it with a hefty dollop of stealth (seriously, if you're fighting you've probably made a mistake) to get this wonderfully atmospheric game. With procedurally generated levels there's no worry over map repetition, and a wide selection of agents and other abilities (called AI programs in game) allows for rogue-lite fun over many runs with different approaches and team builds.
This game is perhaps one of the most tightly-designed titles I have ever played. In many other games there is often a bunch of nonsense and faff that you are forced to play through to get to the fun bits. (Looking at you, Destiny 2.) This is also present in Invisible Inc, but to a much lesser extent compared to most every other title in my library. Every action feels meaningful and I never doubt that what I'm doing in-game will contribute to my mission.
This game WILL challenge you. You will have to make hard choices. You will be forced to evaluate your options. Sometimes, there just isn't a good choice and you'll just have to make the less-bad option. That's fine. Unlike in other games where I am forced to choose between two bad choices I never felt like I was being punished for this, since those lose-lose scenarios happen because of my incompetence or oversight, not because RNG decided that I was having too much fun.
Lastly, the art style and writing. Unlike many games it has chosen to forgo 'realistic' graphics in favour of a cohesive, stylish artstyle that maintains its appeal even a decade+ after its release. Its graphics are also easy on the processor, so even a potato PC from the last decade can run this game with ease. And the writing, while a bit short, is compelling. Every character FELT alive despite how little they speak, from the cybernetics they have to the gear that they come by default. And the banter never overstays its welcome, which is something many modern games could learn from.
My only complaint is that despite unlocking other abilities for Incognita, the allied AI, there just isn't a good reason for anyone to not run Power Drip. All the other power options feel superfluous and too inconsistent for any playthrough, even on lower difficultues.
Very thrilling game with a definite learning and escalating jeopardy curve.

About as close to a perfect game as you can get, honestly. Tense, encourages creative solutions, zero filler, constant problem solving and decision-making. An exceptional achievement all around.

Il est original, techniquement propre, la DA est plutôt sympa (affaire de gout).
Je n'aime pas le tour par tour et j'ai pris le risque de cet achat pour tous les autres aspects. Mais le reste n'a pas réussi à me maintenir dans le jeu. La difficulté est élevée en mode normal. Cela m'a rapidement découragé. J'ai fini la première mission et je n'ai pas envie d'aller au delà. Dommage.
Les deux tags ne mentent pas : "tactique tour par tour" et "difficile". J'étais prévenu. D'où le pouce bleu malgré mon manque d'intérêt.

I enjoy this type of game, and this one has a lot of variety. Once through the beginner stage, you can customize the options, and play too easy, or ridiculously difficult. Lots of characters to choose from, random procedurally generated levels. Interface is very good at displaying the info you learn about a level. I seem to be addicted.

Supremely underrated among Klei's venerable library of bangers, Invisible, Inc. is a standout, unique genre mashup of turn-based tactics and stealth game. No other game has so distilled the satisfaction of sneaking undetected and pulling off risky heists, and the game presents many situations where victory will seem impossible unless you apply your tools and critical thinking skills. The game's difficulty is customizable, but is never afraid to be punishing.

Игра отлично состарилась и выглядит хорошо даже сегодня из-за приятной минималистичной графики. Реиграбельность бесконечная. Генерирует истории и эмоции. Минусы: по отдельности механики не работают либо работают скучно, нельзя просто упереться в одну из них. Финал красивый, но слишком предсказуемый, просто клише. Мир не такой уж и насыщенный из-за крайне скудной информации. Эмоции не всегда положительные, особенно если генерация карты изначально сделала локацию почти непроходимой. Рекомендую 100%, но чего-то невероятного не ждите

As a 48 year old father who has played Invisible Inc. for almost a decade and finished it several times, I've been absolutely fond of the cybernetic spy crew (and hacker AI) who "stick it to the man" under the strict supervision of their elder matriarch. A stylized blend of neo-noir chess, Ghost in the Shell and futuristic, dystopian Mission Impossible; Invisible Inc. is a real pleasure to play.

Купил игру 10 лет назад на релизе. Не разобрался. Удалил.
Спустя 10 лет запустил, чтобы скоротать время. Скоротал. Восемнадцать часов коротал. Очень годный стелс-тактик-рогалик, в котором ну просто наишикарнейше подана идея, но, к сожалению, очень сыро проработаны игровые моменты по маркам 2025 года. Для 2015-го это, я уверен, было свежо и мощно!, но сейчас игру вперед тащит лишь сама механика. Все остальное сделано на очень среднем уровне.
Игра проверку временем не прошла, классикой не стала (в то же время с ней вышла Crypt of the Necrodancer, вы все прекрасно уже знаете этот канон). Но... достойных конкурентов у нее по такому виду геймплея все еще нет. Если вы давно хотели поиграть в Х-сом по-стелсу в киберпанк-вселенной, то это то, что вам нужно!

This is the game that made me a fan of this type of game. I originally got it with playstation plus and got it again on sale on PC. I really enjoy the turned based style and everything this game offers. It isn't terribly complex either

Редкий пример смешения пошаговой тактики и стелса. Игра предлагает напряжённый, продуманный геймплей, где каждое решение имеет вес, а ошибка может стоить всей миссии. Однако, несмотря на замачивую основу, проект страдает от ряда недостатков.. В игре хоть и реализована процедурная генерация уровней, по итогу всегда получаются тоннельные уровни, где маршрут миссии от старта до цели представляет собой один основной путь с минимумом альтернатив и какого либо простора. Да, можно взломать дверь или отключить камеру, но какая разница по праямой кишке тебе нужно пройти или зиг-загами - путь будет один по относително узкомим коридорам.
Апогеем ограниченности и наверное одним из самых спорных элементов является режим режим "Атака по времени". Поясню этот момент, это игра игра про хитрость и расчёт, где сила в планировании. Но режим добавляет физический таймер, который ломает эту философию, добавляет в игру раздражающий фактор спешки и превращая тактический шпионаж в хаотичный забег.
Огорчает еще момент, что Klei (разработчик игры) судя по всему, фактически забросили проект. Если их другие игры (Don't Starve, Don't Starve Together, Oxygen Not Included, Rotwood) регулярно получают контент и обновления, то Invisible, Inc. ограничилась одним небольшим DLC и была забыта.

Excellent stealth-based puzzle game by the amazing developers over at Klei. Agent choice, team composition, cybernetic implants, espionage devices, mission selection; all of these things need to be taken into consideration as all of them are crucial to success. Level layout is random so some missions are MUCH more difficult than others due to RNG, but that just makes the success more satisfying.

This game changed my worldview around the opening and closing of doors and how we take that for granted.
SOLID turn-based stealth game. Huge emphasis on the "Stealth" part of it, it's made in such a way that you're not supposed to face off against the enemies, you are much much weaker. It's a strategy game where the whole goal is to run away, not combat; you WILL lose if you ever try to fight enemies one-on-one.
This game is not for everyone as it's pacing is very slow, it's almost like solving a puzzle. You often ask yourself "Is there really a way out!?" after finding yourself surrounded by 4 guards who are about to spot you, but haven't... Yes, there's always a way.
The game could've benefited from a few more mechanics or different game-modes. Maybe an online mode where two groups of agents try to steal the same artifact? Or more missions? Or enemies that reacted differently? After a second playthrough the game might feel a bit repetitive.
But as it stands it's a memorable and very difficult experience (The base difficulty for the game is Expert btw. That should give you an idea of how difficult it can get.)
Still, not the game for everyone. I never though it would take me this many hours to get all achievements. But great fun if you want a slow-paced (but still stressfully hard) experience!
