I would recommend this game.
荒廃した世界の雰囲気は良かった。ホラー演出に関しては可もなく不可もなくといった印象。
ストーリー内ではどうしてこういう世界なのか、なぜ旅をしているのかという部分の深堀りはあまり無い。アクションや謎解きも無いのでウォーキングシュミレーターとして楽しめる人には、セール時の安さを加味して一応はおすすめ
ゲームをプレイする際にDLCの扱いについて注意してもらいたいのだが、このゲームの無料DLC[url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/740640/Investigator__Survivor_Update/] Investigator - Survivor Update [/url]は、インストールするとゲーム本編をDLCの内容に置き換えるものであるので、はじめに本編をプレイしたい場合にはこのDLCをインストールしていない状態でゲームを始める必要がある。
ゲーム内でDLCのON/OFFを切り替えできないのでライブラリのDLC設定から変更する必要があるので注意。
Survivor Update DLC無しでゲームを起動しても、タイトル画面にはDLCの文字が現れるが、これはゲーム本編に同梱されているDLCで、いわば本編のおまけである。
ゲームをプレイする際には本編→おまけDLC→Survivor Update DLCという順番でプレイするといいだろう。

Just a simple walk simulator with misleading description.
No se puede recomendar este Walking Simulator. Dejando de lado cosas como un apartado grafico flojo y su trama mediocre, presenta fallos que lastran todavía mas la experiencia. Es común quedar atascado entre rocas o elementos del entorno, o acceder a lugares que parecen lógicos pero luego no poder salir o quedar atrapado por debajo el escenario del juego rompiendo toda la experiencia. La única solución es salir y volver a entrar, perdiendo todo el progreso.
El juego es sumamente lineal, y no hace mucho esfuerzo en explicar ni arrojar detalles de la trama, ni notas de texto hay siquiera.. se vuelve algo aburrido simplemente recorrer los escenarios que de paso no son muy vistosos tampoco.
No hay buenos momentos de sustos ni peligros. No tiene Jumpscares ni un enemigo que te persiga realmente (solo un par de secuencias scripteadas) lo que provoca que se pierda la tensión.
Muchos elementos y lugares son muy parecidos o iguales a otro juego de esta gente, llamado “COLDSIDE” (que de paso es infinitamente mejor que este y ese si vale la pena chequearlo) lo que posiblemente sean assets reciclados.
El DLC recicla escenarios de la campaña principal, y para jugar uno u el otro tienes que instalar o desinstalar el DLC desde propiedades del juego en Steam, lo cual me parce ridículo.
No se, el resumen principal es que el juego es aburrido, por eso no lo recomiendo. El juego es corto y para conseguir los logros te tomara entre 6 y 7 hs y se necesita el DLC.

Investigator is an atmospheric horror game using the Cry Engine. And this shows. Graphics are amazing. Texture details, foilage and weather effects are all top notch.
Now for the game itself, it's a bit of a weird one. It's mostly a walking sim with cut scenes. Hardly any action, hardly any puzzles. Just looking around and finding the right items to enfold the story. And that story is also really weird. Not even sure what was real and what wasn't.
It does have its charms though. Was really curious about the story right from the start, but the further you go, the more confusing it gets. As I said, was it even real?
Even though it didn't really offer that much gameplay, I still enjoyed walking through these environments. There are a few scares and whole lot of wtf moments in how the story progresses. It's not about ghosts or paranormal stuff, not really about monsters either. More like a personal story of the protagonist.
There's also a free 'DLC' *included* with the base game. You can start that one from the main menu. It's just another chapter, nothing big. The other free DLC you can get from the store is really bad though.
Weird, but I liked it. Though not much actual gameplay.

Атмосферная хоррор-игра(больше триллер), которая увеличивает количество симуляторов ходьбы в жанре ужасов. Более того, прохождение игры занимает приличное время — 5 часов.
Главный герой — детектив, ищущий убежище в экстремальных погодных условиях. Начальная кат-сцена — его поездка со станции, за которой следует авария — не имеет подробного объяснения. Я понимаю, что он ищет место для ночлега, но предыстории уделяется мало внимания. Действие игры происходит в недалеком будущем, где глобальное потепление становится неминуемой угрозой, поскольку оно сильно влияет на население.
Наш герой — детектив Томас, который случайно сталкивается с кем-то, кого, кажется, знает из прошлого. Джонни — парень в белой маске с боевым дробовиком — играет с Томасом, регулярно преследуя его и натравливая на него мерзких пауков. Игра представляет собой интересный симулятор ходьбы в том смысле, что в ней много экшен-сцен, но они представлены в виде кат-сцен. В основном мы просто гуляем и решаем простые головоломки.
Игра создана на CryEngine. Выглядит, конечно же, потрясающе — мне особенно понравились открытые пространства, особенно заснеженные. Они несколько раз напомнили мне Kholat. Как уже упоминалось, игра довольно продолжительная, а бесплатное дополнение также продлевает время игры. Этот дополнительный уровень раскрывает предысторию и позволяет Томасу окончательно завершить своё путешествие.А в дополнении Survivor Update(особо нового ничего не увидел, в основном те же уровни, но парочка есть новых) можно ознакомится с истинной концовкой игры.
В целом, я остался доволен Investigator. Сюжет местами был бессвязным (жаль, что разработчик не раскрыли этот момент подробнее), а озвучка, хоть и отличная, в DLC её нет. Кроме того, главное меню неоправданно двуязычное (выбор языка был бы неплох), и, кроме выбора «низкого» и «высокого» уровня, графикой больше ничего не назовёшь.
В общем подведу итоги:
Плюсы:
- Превосходный геймдизайн и приятная графика.
- Хороший баланс прохождения, игра практически не надоедает.
- Незамысловатые, но всё же разбавляющие игру, головоломки.
- Экшоооон (Внезапно, да? Бывают интересные вставки, типо погони или даже перестрелки, но как я и говорил, их портит в основном ваша "неуязвимость". Что не сделаешь - всё, как надо.)
- Реалистичные звуки, приятная озвучка и хорошо подобранная музыка.
- Атмосферность и довольно интересный сеттинг.
- Гномы.
Минусы:
- По отзывам других игроков в игре была ужасная оптимизация, играя на современном пк такого не увидел, все игралось плавно, но запустив на корче 10 -ей давности, то все улетучилось мгновенно
- Баги (Персонаж криво взбирается на препятствия. А на одном из уровней заедает звук, при использовании предохранителя, и остаётся на весь уровень.)
- Дырявый и ненужный сюжет (Вы детектив, но для вас, как игрока, это не имеет значения. Что случилось с девочкой, прав ли Джон, почему существуют пауки размером с Годзиллу, зачем мы нужны маньяку живьём, и врал ли Стив? - забудьте, вам этого не узнать)
- Отсутствие хоррора как такового, скримеров как кот наплакал, это скорее триллер
- Проблемы с логикой (Я даже не буду говорить о тонне невидимых стен, которые преграждают нам путь. Но если коротко, то единственное объяснение тому, какой п*здец порой происходит - это сон или галлюцинации главного героя. Которые к слову по сюжету тоже не понятно откуда возникают)
- Излишняя декоративность (Слишком мало предметов, с которыми можно взаимодействовать. Иногда мне кажется, что разработчику просто не хватило сил сделать всё так же, как в первой локации и он ставил всё, как есть)
Если вам нравятся симуляторы ходьбы, Investigator может стать отличным приобретением. Хотя в игре предостаточно минусов,но дайте небольшой шанс , ее все же делал одиночка разработчик, а для одного человека это непосильный труд!

Все игры этого автора я могу охарактеризовать как "приключения". Хотя по сути своей это симуляторы ходьбы, но подача до того хороша, что игра увлекает. Сюжета как такового нет, но если хотите всё же получить адекватный финал, придётся сыграть во второе DLC (второе из двух в главном меню). Бесплатное DLC не добавляйте в библиотеку, пока не прошли основную игру. Если добавили, удалите его с аккаунта, иначе не сможете поиграть в базу. Это странно, но это так.

Mamy, co prawda, napisy w języku angielskim, jednakże są tak niewielkie i mało wyraźne, że ciężko sprawnie je odczytać, a jednocześnie cały czas nasze uszy bombardowane są przez rusk. jazyk narratora. Za to właśnie NEGATYW - za brak suwaków do osobnego sciszenia aktorów, a osobnego do ustawienia efektów dźwiękowych.

Skoro już napisałam Negatyw, to dopełnię to ogólną oceną gry.
Jest to walking symulator w klimacie kiepskiego horroru, bazującego na epatowaniu obrzydliwościami. W przebiegu gry nie ma nic frapującego, ekscytującego czy intrygującego jedynie skrajna brzydota świata stworzonego przez twórcę w typie post-apo + horrorowe obrzydliwości. Po prostu idzie się naprzód szukając drogi przejścia, aby jak najszybciej stamtąd wyjść (i jak najszybciej skończyć grę, bo nie ma się ochoty już dłużej w nią grać). Coś tam się po drodze wydarza np. zostajemy złapani przez złych ludzi i wsadzeni do klatki - no i jak się wydostajemy? - łom leży obok klatki w zasięgu ręki. Cierpliwości wystarczyło mi tylko na połowę gry. Lubię klimaty post-apo, ale to brzydactwo może polubić chyba tylko matka. Ciekawe czy są osoby, które z własnej woli i dla przyjemności siedzą w tej grze aby zdobyć te 52 osiągnięcia.
Co do grafiki gry, to jedynie początkowa scenka przedstawiająca jakąś katastrofę była dobra jakościowo, reszta gry to już dużo niższa jakość wygenerowanej grafiki + brzydota (tak jak już napisałam).

Симулятор ходьбы от разработчика уровней Сталкера 2 (по заявлениям самого разработчика). Играем за очень живучего [spoiler]до поры до времени[/spoiler] бывшего детектива, который пытается выжить при глобальном похолодании. Очень много несвязанных сцен и сюжетных поворотов в духе Н. Шьямалана из Робоцыпа. Утомляет, но пробежаться можно. Оценка средняя.

Probably the most disappointing, anticlimactic game ending I have ever played ever. I don't know if I missed something or if I was supposed to do something to get a more satisfying ending or what. All I know is that the ending where [spoiler]I get trapped in a room with a dozen huge spiders, get knocked out or whatever, and then briefly wake up to see the silhouette of someone at the door[/spoiler] is the lamest possible ending I could have gotten (if there even are multiple endings to this game).
The graphics of this game are decent, treading the line between video game and pretty-damn-realistic. Optimization is fair, though there are a few places where you'd expect to be able to get through/jump over/fall through but you don't. The speech audio is entirely in Russian, but there were English subtitles for most of the game (maybe just 1-2 lines of dialogue without subtitles). Every so often the subtitles would flash a second time on screen for a split second, which was a tiny bit bothersome and immersion-breaking, but not a total deal breaker.
Sound design was OK - not great. There were a few points where there were no footstep sounds at all, and the sound of the footsteps on the snow often came out more squeaky than I liked. I know walking on snow can sometimes make a slight squeaky-ish sound, but when I was running in the snow I just kept picturing the character sprinting on this huge rubber surface.
I normally like walking simulators, but this one felt a bit monotonous despite the cutscenes of [spoiler]spider attacks and constantly being knocked out by the same guy over and over again.[/spoiler] These are probably why the game felt monotonous - the same things kept happening over and over, just in different places. While I enjoyed exploring at the beginning of the game, the repetitive nature of the events kinda killed it for me. And it didn't help that most of the game is spent underground, where every room and hallway looks almost exactly alike.
The little story it had was not enough to save the game. There was barely any story at all, really, since the game seemed to rely purely on the premise and nothing else - no middle nor ending.
In the end, it was a mildly entertaining game that I don't totally regret playing. However, I can't truly recommend that someone else play it. If you're really curious, buy it on sale, maybe wait for it to go at least 50% off. Otherwise, don't bother.

Преимущества:
1) хорошая графика, если учитывать год выпуска.
2) неплохой сюжет (но короткий)
В некоторых случаях присутствует вариативность.
3) присутствуют достижения и карточки
4) низкие требования к пк
Недостатки:
1 Слишком много бесмысленной ходьбы
2 однотипные, не страшные скримеры (большинство тупо валят на землю и вырубают персонажа)
Итог: 7/10 гномов в туалете
I want to like this game. The map design is pretty good and the atmosphere has a good blend of creepiness and intrigue. The major problem is how janky this game is. The player character will OFTEN get stuck in geometry making climbing and even simply walking through a door frame a major chore. I even randomly teleported off the map and into the ocean one time.
Another problem this game has is that it doesn't make it clear when the game is saving. Take the time I teleported into the ocean for example. It was right after the (un-skippable) intro cut scene. I had no choice but to restart the game. It apparently didn't save and I had no choice but to sit through that LONG cut scene again.
This game is also one of those that barely gives you any options in the menu. You have no ability to adjust volume settings, no ability to re-map controls (which is a MAJOR issue in games like this in general), and the only graphics option you get are selecting "low end" or "high end" PC (whatever that means) and your resolution....which tops out at 1080p, btw.

Сюжет. Задумка с природными катаклизмами приятно порадовала и вместе с тем быстро разочаровала. Может я один такой, но мне не хватило масштаба столь огромной проблемы, охватившей весь мир. Не считая практически постоянного ливня и разрушенных сооружений, в игре нет ничего от заявленного в первой кат-сцене, а невнимательный игрок вообще подумает, что это "зелёный" апокалипсис с пауками переростками. Главный герой Томас - бывший детектив, пытающийся всеми силами выжить в новом, опасном мире и волей случая сталкивающийся с одним и тем же человеком, которому умудрился насолить в прошлом. В спойлеры вдаваться не буду, но к конфликту претензий нет, это определённо не то, за что стоит брать проект, но и ругать сюжет не хочется.
Геймплей. Симулятор ходьбы, дамы и господа. Ходите, бродите, собираете предметы, используете механизмы. Здесь вам не встретятся ни головоломки, ни боевые моменты, в которых можно было бы на что-то повлиять. Проект достаточно линейный и потеряться крайне сложно.
Атмосфера. Лучшая часть сего проекта по моему мнению. Чего у AdroVGames не отнять, это умения создавать тягучую, полную безнадёги ситуацию, в которой главный герой - всего лишь крошечный винтик ищущий выход. CryENGINE могёт. Освещение, детализация, это вот то, к чему придраться невозможно даже при большом желании.
Тех. состояние, это, конечно, м-да... Нет ни настроек графики, ни управления, ровным счётом ничего. Главное меню - худшее из всех, что мне приходилось видеть. Кат-сцены не скипаются. Субтитров есть, но на английском, хотя русская озвучка вполне себе.
Подводя итог, стоит понимать, что «Investigator» лишь проба пера, первый мазок на холсте автора и относится к нему слишком строго как то не хочется. Да, игра звёзд с неба не хватает, но знаете, учитывая её цену и довольно частые скидки, я всё же считаю, что попробовать стоит. Спасибо за подарок моему близкому другу и моя личная рекомендация хотя бы попробовать сей проект. Поверьте, двух часов, данных на рефанд, вам вполне хватит, чтобы составить собственное впечатление и решить, заканчивать историю Томаса или бросить его на произвол судьбы. :3

Even for it's price. Even on sale. This game is not worth it, a waste of your time.
It's a walking simulator with a ton of forced cut-scenes and no actual gameplay besides walking.
The story is lacking and confusing. The voice actors is so-so, but not helped by the dialogue and again, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ storytelling. Also is it supposed to take place in the US? Why couldn't they make the setting in Russia, considering it's a Russian game with Russian voice acting?
The menu options in this game is v-sync, resolution and fullscreen. That's it. You also can only change those on the main menu, when you get in game all you can do is exit the game.
When in game there's very little you can interact with, and well considering it's a walking-sim, no surprise there. However there could at least have been an inventory so when you pick up random stuff in the darkness you can check the inventory to see what you picked up. Or at least have an objectives tracker.
There are also basically no puzzles in the game. Going to pick up a circuit board to put it in some electrical appliance is not a puzzle.
This ain't it chief. There are free games out there more worthy of your time.

Тягомотина, бессмыслица, глупость, халтура. Любое из этих слов точно опишет данный продукт. Первый уровень: ПРОЙДИТЕ 10КМ ОТ ЛОДКИ ДО ДОМА. Второй уровень: ТОЖЕ САМОЕ, НО НАОБОРОТ. Вся игра состоит из медленной ходьбы без взаимодействия с чем-либо и отсутствием минимального смысла. Интуитивно в бОльшей части уровней догадаться куда двигаться ПРОСТО НЕВОЗМОЖНО. Ачивки рассчитаны на самого разработчика, потому что сделать их без учебника по этой игре не представляется возможным. ДЛС за 0.99 центов дает вам возможность использовать контент, который был в бесплатном длс, не благодарите. В какой-то момент игра начинает раздражать. Я не смогла и дропнула её в дальний ящик на долгий срок, а увидев в списке скачанных игр ужаснулась, что мне нужно вернуться к ней и закончить ачивки(на саму игру кристаллически по ху й, там происходит полная ахинея). Сказать бы, что красивые виды спасают ситуацию, но они не спасают. Вот тебе уровень 3, на нем ты должен умереть в начале от крокодила и в конце, держи две одинаковые ачивки. А вот здесь подвинь коробки и открой кейс, там тебе дадут просто 5 достижений подряд.
Игра МАКСИМАЛЬНО затянута ВСЕМИ ВОЗМОЖНЫМИ способами. Игра не помогает, она заставляет ломать голову. Локации длинные, но не несут в себе возможность хоть какого-то взаимодействия. Пока ты ходишь, сюжета нет, да и то что есть - кринж, тут даже слов иных не подобрать.
Тупняк лютый, никогда и ни за какие деньги. Даже бесплатно НЕТ. Максимум для морально устойчивых любителей экстремальных проверок на нервы, чтобы сделать скриншоты.
Не плохой симулятор ходьбы,со средней историей как по мне.Хороший визуал и звук ,а остальное на любителя.Я играл в поздние проекты автора и как по мне этот пока на последнем месте,но не самый плохой симулятор ходьбы.

Este jogo é peculiar. Por um lado tem gráficos, ambientes e iluminação muito bons. Por outro tem uma UI horrível e optimização quase inexistente. Não se trata dum asset flip, nota-se que foi feito com cuidado e com skills. Não é fantástico, mas é interessante para uma short adventure.

This is a horror-themed Walking Sim. It involves giant spiders, and some dude who keeps constantly trying to knock you out and kidnap you. Graphics are pretty good, and typical of a 2016 game made with CryEngine. The dialogue is in Russian, but 99% of it has English subtitles.
You are walking through an environmental wasteland, supposedly from climate change. It's raining most of the time, and towards the end snow covers everything. There's a green mold or algae growing over everything because of the constant wetness. Outside is overgrown with plants, as you'd expect with not many humans around. Inside buildings is always dark and usually wet.
Since you and the dude stalking you seem to be the only humans in this vicinity though, you have to wonder who is lighting all the many lanterns you find along your way, shining just enough light to let you know you're going the right direction. Strangely enough, every now and then you'll find gasoline and working electricity when you need to open a mechanical door or fire up a generator.
You don't have a flashlight, but one would have been nice since inside all the buildings is so dark. You also don't have any inventory or any weapons. There are little garden gnome statues located in several places. The dev ([i]or devs[/i]) seem to have some sort of weird fascination with them.
The game has 52 total achievements, and they do count on your Steam Profile. The main game has 31, a built-in DLC has 3, and the free downloadable 'Survivor Update' DLC has 18. It will probably take you a couple of play-throughs to get all 52 achievements, because you can miss some of them.

Many things in the story do not make sense, and are not explained. So as a player, you'll have to settle for the graphics, the dark brooding atmosphere, and the post-apocalyptic immersion. Finally, the game ran perfectly fine for me. I experienced no bugs, lag, or jank.

I would ALMOST recommend this game, but it's just not doing it for me. It's essentially a walking simulator, and one that feels pretty lackluster at that. I love the game's engine, the CryEngine, so the graphics of this game are solid. That being said, the actual animations and dev-made models for animals, people, and monsters, are pretty mediocre at best. The story of the game feels pretty illogical at times, and isn't super easy to follow. Although, despite there being a bunch of bad jumpscares in the game, there's a handful that I enjoyed. There's only a few puzzles in the game, and they're less "puzzles" and more just finding items required to access more items required to progress. So all of that said, it's slow, it doesn't immerse the player well, and I felt like the game was hollow.
However, it's the dev's first game he published on Steam, so I want to check out his creations that followed this one. The games are also pretty cheap, so it's in no means a rip off. It still, though, can be a waste of time for a lot of people who are looking for a great horror game experience. You likely won't get that here.

Investigator представляет из себя симулятор ходьбы с элементами хоррора. Да, во время прохождения, игра пыталась пугать, но безуспешно. Достаточно слабый, но трагический сюжет с плохой с технической точки зрения реализацией.
Сама игра в принципе слабая в своем жанре и игрока она практически ничем не сможет заинтересовать, по моему мнению. Сам сюжет игры раскрывается только в начале, а дальше это чистая прогулка по разным локациям, которая не несет какого-то смысла.
Единственный плюс игры это его визуальная составляющая, которая местами выглядит красиво.
Не рекомендую к прохождению. Данный симулятор ходьбы можно смело пропускать.

Le jeu est sous-titré en anglais (pas de sous-titre français).
Le DLC [i]Storm is coming[/i] propose un niveau supplémentaire et apporte une fin plus satisfaisante que la fin du jeu original.
Le DLC [i]Gifts[/i] est un petit niveau bonus dans lequel nous devons trouver des paquets cadeaux.
Le DLC [i]Survivor Update[/i], qui est gratuit, modifie totalement le jeu d'origine et retire plus de la moitié du contenu du jeu original. Je vous conseille de jouer à l'original dans un premier temps pour profiter de l'histoire, et ENSUITE d'installer Survivor Update et d'y jouer.
Meh, half half. After beating chapter 4 (1.4h minus 10’ binding the controls) still not sure about the plot twist but I’m not enjoying it…
If u want to play it with the steam deck u must bind the controls or u can’t play. Also if u did not play the original version do not install the dlc, as the story change a lot and u’ll miss a lot of info (and u’ll not get the achievements). In game u cannot die and stamine is infinite. Graphics aren’t that bad, but the story makes no sense (Imma try to finish the game and think about if it’s worth playing it after watching the ending)
I saw lot of comments complaining about the save, but there’s no save: u must play a chapter ‘til the end and if u quit the game, next time u need to select the chapter in which u want to continue.
I've played worse things, this game isn't that bad and it doesn't get very heavy. The levels are short, but meh.

Si tu puntuación total ronda los 35, ni te le acerques a menos que estés en busca de un tutorial sobre cómo no hacer un juego de terror. Compra \Investigator\ solo si está en descuento y no tienes absolutamente nada mejor qué hacer. ¡Suerte valiente jugador!

Imagine a walking simulator with a bit of Stalker, Amnesia and The Road (by Cormac McCarthy) as atmosphere.
That's the feeling this game gave me, and it's pretty cool.
There's not much to do and it's pretty linear, but for the price this game gives really good wandering vibes in a desolate world.
So that's a yes for me.
Дуже хороша гра, як для своєї ціни, + я купила її ще й з купоном, то взагалі не дорого вийшло.
Сюжет не поганий, але коротенький. А вот кінець взагалі не зайшов, хотілося б чогось більшого, длс, також, не сильно допомогло. Графіка прикольна, мені сподобалися кат-сцени та і в загальному, весь вайб, правда, граючи на низьких налаштуваннях, від самого руху камери аж погано моментами ставало. В длс куди краще цей момент пропрацюовали. Це прикольна броділка, хорором ж цю гру просто важко назвати, єдине, що там лякало- це павуки.
За таку ціну, я вважаю, точно можна в неї пограти, я ні каплі не пожаліла :)

Игру хвалят за атмосферу, однако мне её ощутить не удалось, впрочем не удивительно, ведь...
1) Игра не страшная, нет ни давления на игрока, ни хороших скримеров (они скорее карикатурны), ни ужасных монстров.
2) Повествование в игре бессвязное, впрочем, как и чередование локаций, ощущение будто разработчик делал игру из того, что первое придёт в голову.
Игру также хвалят за красоту, с чем я почти согласен, в ней было пару красивых мест, в остальном она выглядела средне.
Геймплейно игра представляет из себя симулятор ходьбы, что с учётом остальных минусов делает её абсолютно никудышной.

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Esta reseña incluirá mi opinión sobre dos productos, a saber:
- El juego base.
- El DLC gratuito (Survivor Update).
El juego base está muy bien. La historia es bastante coherente. El personaje cae simpático.
Definitivamente es más interesante que el DLC.
Es un poco largo, aunque se puede acabar en un día sin problema.
Si lo querés comprar por el terror específicamente, quiero que sepas que no es un terror intenso. Es bastante tolerable. Lo mejor lo aportan los escenarios que, aunque algo repetitivos, están bien hechos.
Respecto al DLC, si lo tomás, te aconsejo que no lo juegues primero. Podés hacerlo, claro (de hecho fue mi caso), pero no vas a entender bien qué pasa.
Es como un resumen del juego base. Muy breve. Toma partes de niveles existentes, y les agrega algunas escenas. Por ejemplo: supongamos que en el juego empezás un nivel frente a la puerta de un complejo. Entonces en el DLC posiblemente jugás el recorrido que el personaje hace hasta esa puerta. También hay algunas cosas distintas.
No tiene pracricamente nada de terror. De nuevo, los escenarios son como para sugestionarse, pero poco y nada más.
Por otro lado, mencionar que en Survivor Update los gráficos son ligeramente más bonitos.
Mi conclusión, es que el juego base es el que aporta todo lo mejor. Del DLC se podría pasar olímpicamente, porque no hay tanto que hacer. Pero es gratis, y probarlo no hace daño.
En fin, no es un juego difícil. Solo da lo que promete. Está bien.
No me arrepiento de haberlo adquirido.

+ Цена (покупал по огромной скидке, за фуллпрайс даже не думайте!)
+ Достижения и карточки (единственный выхлоп от крови из глаз, что я пережил)
+ Музыка (её не много, но она хорошая)
+- Графоний (Локации выглядят нормально, пол балла накинуть можно)
Из минусов:
Всё остальное! Просто всё остальное. Это минус 99 баллов из 10, а не игра!
Если основной сюжет ещё как то, через боль проходится, то длс, а точнее survivor update (что заменяет буквально оригинал игры) это просто 5 конченых миссий, от которых хочется блевать органами....
Как итог: 3,5 балла в плюс, 99 в минус, игра на -95,5 из 10 по форенгейту или цельсию, кому как удобнее понять.
Well, this is for walking sim fans with taste of nice unity graphics, ambient sound but use headphones, little recall of stalker and metro series you might like too, same what I did enjoy for a few hours.
Actually this is not much related to an Investigation topic but you act an investigator who tries to survive against 8 legged freaks of any size and mark my words that size is not limited thereto :-).
Further you run from an ex client aka Jason and side by some merc which in the end yet is sided with the other foe and at the very end you will be food...
You may chose any of the 10 levels from a list so the story feeling is low as you can start from Lv 1, followed by Lb 9 counting down to Lv2 and do Lv 10 at the end to finish the thing, it is up to you. I was missing a torch or similar light source so as a real connected story but the level choice only might help you to more easy hunt achievements. The Survivor DLC is a light 5 Lv enhanced optical version of the same but with less attractions and the XMAS DLC goes after gifts to find. For me the highlights have been graphics and sound with recall of other more comprehensive series and some shocky moments while strictly following the levels and consider to maintain the story. If you after this you will have a few hours of entertainment.
Not positive if I fully recommend or not.
Giving thumbs up because I enjoyed what I got from it.
However, I have some questions.
I am umm....a bit confused. First I guess Ill post some type of review to get that out of the way. The game, or what I got of it, was fine. Basically a walking-sim, decent sound design, thought foot steps in different places could be better, i.e. puddles, mud, gravel, was minimal but not bad. Visuals were nice, the physics on the flapping cloth were actually really impressive, dev should be proud of that. Gnomes? Check. Gators in what I assume is eastern Europe? Or really any of Europe, doesnt matter, I dont believe Gators are found anywhere outside of some areas of China, and the SE United States, mostly Florida Land and Louisiana.
Anyways, on to what I am confused about.
On this store page I see other characters in the trailer videos and community screen shots. I see action, story, even NPCs. I see something that looks like an actual game. Also looked up a let's play on YouTube, found the same things. A game with story, and NPCs, some weaponry, mild horror, spider, etc. I did not get this.
Oh my game? Well it is basically a walking-sim tech demo. No intro scene with apocalyptic events and a train that gets pulled up into the sky. For me it just started on a dock having already gotten out of the little boat. Walked around, discovered some gnomes, found a cabin, slept, woke up, walked back to dock, cut scene. Here I saw the only NPC of my entire game experience, which was a small squirrel observing my character drive off in a rickety little motor boat. Then a few more scenes of wandering outdoors, great atmosphere, enjoyed that part. Then some what looked to be bunker tunnels. Then another outdoor scene, some helicopter nonsense, wander around more aaaaaaaand.....................................................................Game end! I also tossed out another $1 for the other DLC, and for the life of me can't see what it was supposed to have done. Not the Survivor DLC, the one with a christmas tree looking image or whatever it is. I thought the first time I opened the game I had seen a DLC selection on the menu screen, but I am questioning if I made that up of not as I have not seen it appear again since.

I am confused about it all.
Perhaps I am being blind and a bit stupid missing something that is in plain sight, something stating that the trailers and also somehow the let's plays on YouTube are all containing footage of content that didnt end up getting released, but some of the reviews made it seem that was what some people got to experience. So i am just not sure what the deal is. I didnt exactly break the bank for the game or the DLC, and I am more than happy to have my money go to indie developers and individuals making games from a place of passion. And I think this dev has a lot of potential. But if there is game content that I somehow did not get, I would really love to get to try it out. The videos looks kinda rad.

Is this game good - no, definitely not.
Is it worth the price - yes.
Good points of this game are visuals, sound and atmosphere. Graphics are really good, cutscenes are truly cinematic, on the level that some triple A games don't always show (though less camera shake would be much appreciated). General atmosphere is quite interesting, it has some horror aspect to it, but mostly just desperation of pos-appocallyptic world.
But what it gives without an actual good gameplay and story, right?
Well, that's the whole problem.
The whole plot isn't that bad, except for the fact that it might be problematic to understand it because of the technical state of the game. I've never seen so many bugs in such a short game it's even ridiculous at this point. Some are so severe I couldn't even finish several levels of the game including the final one, which completely cuts off all the connections in the storyline. Most bugs are visual but the main problem is the ones where character randomly teleports into the void. So I already was swimming in the sea with nothing in sight in the DLC, flew through the floor on the 2nd level, was walking through the void on levels 6-8 and stared at two lights in the black void on the final one. I want to thank devs for the opportunity to start any level from the menu, because at first I thought that's a weird decision. Too bad it didn't help me.
I understand it was made by a small dev team, but it's still sad they didn't give more attention to the technical state of the game instead of visual.

Геймплей тут самый простой - симулятор ходьбы. Даже не бега от врага. Всю игру надо идти вперёд и иногда что-то искать, а что бы это найти надо идти вперёд. И это правда всё, нет даже пряток в шкафах, модных в то время. Я думаю не стоит говорить насколько это интересно, при том что все ситуации для такого есть. И для стэлса и для сурвайвала и для беготни.

Вообще сюжет это какая шутка. У нас апокалипсис, а в чём он заключается? У нас вымерло человечество, а от чего? У нас гигантский паук, забудьте про него, его больше будет. Да вообще кроме пауков опасностей в этом мире нет. Особенно смешно наблюдать за действиями гг и другого персонажа, они вообще никак не обоснованы и не оправданы. Под конец вообще роботы пауки, лол. Говорить про то что считай не на один поставленный вопрос нет ответа думаю говорить не надо. В игре целая куча событий которые заканчиваются никак. Допустим видите вы гигантского паука. И всё, он сделал что-то и больше вы его не увидите.

Технологически для инди тех лет выглядит игра потеряно, конечно большинство всего это ассеты, но сам движок, вроде КрайЭнджин, отлично себя показывает. Картинка прям сочная, даже сегодня. Хотя и к некоторым текстурам лучше не подходить, а на листу не смотреть.
В игре один трек есть, классный, больше нет музыки.
Как хоррор вообще забейте, тут им и не пахнет, его не было.

Gutes Spiel, sehr schön gestaltete Level.
hatte mehr Story (und damit verbundene Npc Momente ) als erwartet. Die Abschnitte wiederholen sich dann mit dem DLC und den Survivor Zusatz, aber war insgesamt überrascht, was es am Ende alles beinhaltet hat: es gab sogar kleine Geschicklichkeitseinlagen , versteckte Ecken und Wahlmöglichkeiten.
Und Spätestens wenn man alle Erfolge machen will und so hinter (oder auf^^) jedes Haus, Auto usw schaut, bekommt man die versteckten, liebevoll Gestalteten Ecken zu Gesicht.
Wenn das Spiel Interesse Weckt, auf alle Fälle mal ne Chance geben. Der Preis ist mit kostenlosem DLC und Zusatz ok, spätestens im Sale macht man da nix falsch!
Главная проблема таких игр - очень слабая оптимизация. Какое бы у тебя ни было железо, у тебя будут максимальные фризы и огромное падение фпс в игре. Если коротко, игра хорошая. Основная сюжетка прям моё уважение. Апдейт выжившего это конечно кусок говнища. Просто дополнительно побегать. Чё зачем почему - не понятно.

Судя по описанию на странице стима, это приключенческая игра про исследования с элементами хоррора. На дворе постапокалипсис и мы один из немногих выживших, который пытается найти свой путь в изменившихся условиях. Вокруг туманные пейзажи развалин старого мира и мрачное окружение заброшенной деревушки на болотах. Наша задача найти свой путь в этом мире и выжить.
Все плюсы этой игры кончаются на графической составляющей, ведь сюжет, который я описал выше, касается только первой главы. Все что будет происходить дальше сложно как-то вписать в текущие реалии. Какие-то маньяки, пауки и прочая невнятная шляпа. Судя по начальному уровню я ожидал какую-то мини-рпгшку в духе Сталкера, а на деле получил простенький и всратый инди-хоррор. Безусловно над окружащими игрока пейзажами старались и выглядят они красиво, но вот геймплей и сюжетная составляющая тут откровенно слабые. По итогу это просто набор несвязанных между собой уровней, чтобы показать возможности движка. Не понравилось.

This game is visually very beautiful, I was very surprised especially given the game has been out for many years. The story is a bit confusing and fragmented at times, but I could still piece it together and I had fun playing through the game. The only real downside is that it keeps showing you the controls and when you play on controller... it still shows you the ones for keyboard/mouse. This tripped me up as to where I did not do something I had actually wanted to do in the game but I only had a few seconds to react. (basically a quick time event.) When the game then shows you the wrong button prompt, and I am busy figuring out which that is on controller then it's... yeah, not happening and I am too late. It looks like you can select specific levels (stages) to replay though, accommodating those who want to try and get all the achievements.

A real mess. Bizarre level transitions, no save states, unskippable shaky-cam cutscenes, and a completely nonsensical story. Environments are nice though.
Искушённым игроком себя не назову, но игра мне понравилась. Сюжет очень слабый, но остальные составляющие доставляют удовольствие. Игра не успеет надоесть, особенно если не пытаться излишне исследовать локации, я вам советую всё пробегать. Бегать тут удобно и приятно, локации красивые и атмосферные, картинка радовала глаз. Так же хочу отметить режиссуру в кат-сценах, мне она зашла. Если вы любите сетинг постапокалипсиса, то к покупке рекомендую.
Так же важное уточнение: в игре нет никакого страшилы, от которого нужно отбиваться или прятаться, то есть умереть в игре нельзя.

Арахнофобам категорически не рекомендую! Единственный враг который держит нас постоянно в тонусе, в этом хитросплетении туннелей и разрушенных постройках, это пауки величиной с здоровую собаку и быстро перемещающиеся по любой поверхности. Их мало, враг редкий, но они подаются спонтанно и неожиданно, что добавляет адреналина и добавляет неплохо. Проект хоть и в стиле напряженного исследования локаций и мира, но хоррора тут практически нет. Пару моментов будут пугающими, а в целом это больше интересное приключение выжившего в катаклизме и держащего путь как под землей через подземные военные постройки так и по поверхности, к загадочному укрытию D6. Игра красивая. Под землей, прям калька с МЕТРО. Звуки и все что мы слышим, на высоте и многоканальные. Выделю еще огромное количество очень легких достижений упакованных в небольшой, 3-4 часа хронометраж игры. Символическая стоимость довольно увлекательной игры не оставляет сомнений в выборе.

Absoluter hidden Gem. Für 4€ (wir haben es für 0,80€ abstauben können) bekommt man fantastische Grafik, Atmosphäre und Environmental Design, gepaart mit interesssanten Settings, Cutscenes und Passagen wie bei Layers of Fear. Leider nimmt der Glanz mit jedem weiteren Level etwas ab und schafft nicht ganz uns gegen Ende noch zu erschrecken. Aber dabei sieht es weiterhin fantastisch aus und ich freue mich vielleicht demnächst ins DLC zu schauen. Achja und es gibt Gnomes WHUH!
