Very fun, but gets repetitive and boring in the mid-late game. I got so OP 1-100 real quick. This game is well optimized even in highest graphics, I only wish they could balance the game more to make it a bit harder. And I would also would want to learn more lore in the game, like what happens after you infect the world. Overall this game is fun, but gets repetitive some point.

You nailed it. Great game. Leisure mode, competitive leaderboard mode, quite a few upgrades and new compositions of team building per playthrough. Played until I got bored last night and don't recall one bug.

Face roll can be achieved about half way up the upgrades if you upgraded your infection AOE, distract once side with goo then infect the other side using a all star team. Achieving face roll status could be prolonged. New argo mobs with attack variation could add some replay value. Special forces, animals, tanks, vehicles with gunners etc. Really not constructive criticism as you don't require it, just ideas. Electronic Arts couldn't of achieved this with an infinity Black Rock/ Vanguard warbux and all the diversity on Earth.

Nice game, would buy again.

Jogo bom, é praticamente um mini game que teria em um jogo maior de zumbi. Podia ter mais modos de jogo. Além de ter que gastar moedas de pontos para adicionar debuff na run é zoado, eu tenho que gastar uma moeda que ganha só com pontos, no final de uma run de 3h, para dificultar o jogo?
Era mais fácil deixar só os facilitadores necessitando da moeda de pontos.

Even after several patches the difficulty scaling in this game is still certifiably bonkers. If you fall behind the game keeps spawning tougher and tougher units, and you just can't make any headway. You become effectively softlocked as your zombies die instantly as they spawn, you just have to reset and try again. Even taking the optimal upgrades so much is left up to chance in the worst way.

Definitely worth picking up on a discount.

I recommend it but it not very long and has little replay to it outside few achivements. You can see everything in one play through that not a bad thing but does hurt replayability at end of the day.

High recommend if you don't care much about replayability it fun and i had a lot fun.

This game is decent. Feels a bit like a port from mobile. There's typos. This achievement description game me a chuckle -> "Anti-Zombie Drugs - Lose the game by letting the cure reaches 100%". For the love of your own sanity, if you pick this up, mute the mobile ad azz music and listen to something better if you plan on playing for longer than 3 min. In the end, not bad for a cheap pick-up.

finally 100%ed that game.

pros :

- zombie managing game
- surprisingly challenging
- you can easily pick up this game for under 5 buck

cons :

- low key racist but toward everyone so ig it's ok XD
- the best units aren't the zombies ((demon squad for the win))
- the coin grind can easily kill runs
- there is a reason why one of the achievement is "win the game twice" the games get boring real fast.

caos estratégico en su forma más divertida. Bajo una estética caricaturesca y violenta, el juego te pone del lado del desastre: provocar un apocalipsis zombi ciudad por ciudad, viendo cómo el pánico se propaga de forma imparable.

Su jugabilidad combina estrategia y acción en tiempo real, donde elegir el zombi correcto, mejorar mutaciones y desplegar el caos en el momento justo marca la diferencia entre una infección mediocre y una masacre total. Cada mapa es un pequeño rompecabezas de destrucción, siempre empujándote a optimizar tu plaga.

El humor negro y el estilo visual exagerado le dan una identidad muy marcada, haciendo que incluso el desastre se sienta ligero y entretenido. Infectonator 3 no busca profundidad narrativa, sino diversión directa y adictiva.

I loved Infectonator: World Dominatior. This one is similar, but it feels unbalanced. At some point you can't really compete against the special forces anymore. They kill your Zombies faster than you deploy them and all people on the map seem to be these. All in all it's fun, but it gets too fast too frustrating.

I really tried to like this game, sadly it sucks. The game plays and acts like it really wants you to replay it multiple times in different ways to earn everything.

Yet: 1. There are no upgrades that stay, i accidentally deleted a run, because they made that function really easy for some reason. 3, There is literally no replayability factor. 4. it doesnt really matter if you win or fail.

As you can see i have 11h because i did replay it a couple times and tried to pull out fun stuff. But no, the beginning of a run is tedious, the Zombie Ai is so bad, they cut of a guys way off, after chasing it for like 15 seconds. then loose focus or run into the oposite direction, their targeting range is so small, that people can just go around the zombies in some cases.
The early end game is Tedious, because of said zombie Ai, the second mevery enemy has a weapon 90% of the game mechanics become useless, you need to 1. blow up mayor threats 2. wait for zpd to arive 3. throw all the items or aoe infection or dmg zombies at them. Then you have enough of a wave tooversweep the rest.......but the zombie ai is so ♥♥♥♥ that you have 30 zombies standing around a point, but yk, a survivor is 2 corners around, so invis for the zombie hord, and you have to use grenades or something to catch them.

The only aspect of the game that is nice, is the mid game where you finally have enough resources to not having to rely on coin flipping zombies. while the survivors are not heavily protected yet, so you can do strategic planing and waiting with the doors etc to set up every piece to fit when the zombies come.

So yeah, idk why the 3rd part is worse than the 2nd. and with modern incremental games 12€ is outrageous, it honestly feels like an unfinished game, the only thing you can unlock outside of a run are "cheats" that gives you.... certain upgrades from the start, but disable your score, aka you wont be able to unlock new cheats.
So you need to repeat the same game or with minimal changes in the challange mode, for cheats that dont add anyhting substential, multiple times

Sure, Infectonator 3: Apocalypse is charming for the first hour of gameplay when you're initially infecting the world with your zombie virus, but it gets old FAST. I3:A's big problem is its abysmal pacing; there's no real sense of discovery past the first hour of gameplay, and I felt like I was grinding the game out way too soon. It's very easy to tell if you're going to win the rest of the campaign, yet you're going to have to play for another 2-3 hours to reach the inevitable. I absolutely cannot recommend this game.

Infectonator 3: Apocalypse is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. This mobile app is a simple iPhone screen tapper from the app stores. The idea is that you are a mad scientist, you create zombies and use them to take over the world. This works a but like Pandemic Inc, but there's a ground game that works not unlike the "active" parts of a tower defense as you use timed abilities to create more zombies or drop grenades on people trying to kill your zombies.

Heck, the concept might even work if this wasn't a garbage pixelcrap mobile app cash grab. But that's what it is... although while the developer here is well known for trying to scam PC gamers into buying mobile apps, they're more famous for trying to scam PC gamers into paying cash money for free Asobe Flash games (Seriously, how morally bankrupt and scammy can you get?)

From a technical perspective, as a mobile app, this doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.

The developers didn't design the mobile app for modern gaming PCs, as such the display resolution caps out at around 1440p, there's no support for the state-of-the-art 4K or higher resolutions. The mobile app simply won't look right on modern gaming displays due to this failure on the part of the developers.

A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result.

While there are options to change the resolution for the mobile app, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the mobile app, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals.

The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.

Because this is a mobile app, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the iPhones that the mobile app was designed for. These are unfortunate handicaps and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was an afterthought for the iPhone developers who are to blame for this. The mobile app is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for mobile phones forces upon a game. Once more, mobile devs have made gaming worse for everyone. I didn't spend thousands on building a gaming rig just so I could pretend it's an iPhone.

These technical defects push this mobile app below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.

So, should you buy this mobile app? Is this one of the best of the 130,000+ games on Steam?

Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to scam PC gamers. On Steam, this is $13 USD, on app stores, it's $8. Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be expected to pay a <<<<<<<<<<< PRICE DIFFF >>>>>>>> for an already overpriced mobile app just because it's been lazily dumped on Steam. This is unacceptable disrespect for PC gamers. Because this is a mobile app, is priced to insult and gouge PC gamers, and because of the other defects, it's impossible to recommend.

Just who do they think we are?

For comparison, the $13 asking price for this mobile app could get you games like "Divinity: Original Sin 2", "Resident Evil Village" or "Valheim". No pixelcrap is worth $13. If developers want to get paid the same kind of money as real game developers who know how to do graphics properly, they need to learn how to do graphics properly.

The main issue for Infectonator 3: Apocalypse is the price point. For $16.99, you get roughly 3-4 hours (assuming you are not over the age of 60) of gameplay, of which you can (and I have) 100% the game while doing so.

The pixel art is very good. The gameplay is fun for the first hour, but once you realize the core issues which make themselves apparent after that first hour, you'd really only play this game again to 100% it.

The strategy or lack thereof is also an issue that combines with the general lack of gameplay for a nearly $20 game.

I don't think I ever deviated from using the: Red Berserkker, Clown, and Vampires. (aside from default units at the very beginning of the games progression.) You are given a rather lopsided amount of resources for each win, which you can use to purchase the wildly overpowered spells. Their are 5 spells that do AOE damage, and 2 that do damage-over-time/%dmg. On the more "difficult" levels, simply flood the open area with your zombies and dump spells indoors. An objective truth of this game is once you have 2 units unlocked that can be classed as "mid game", you have beaten the entire game. You cannot lose, except for your own poor placement. Even then, poor placement can only really fail you if the zombies you drop are seperated indoors against attacking humans.

You can get creative and make some cool zombie combos, but why bother? It's more than likely less effective then just gunning for an army of 8/8 high hp/dmg/any stat you want, due to the humans not really having much fight in them. Their's no sense of urgency to aquire say, ranged units to deal with enemies killing cqb units from afar, because all units move at breakneck speeds across the map for some reason. Or, the ranged zombies just have seemingly infinite-range unless the human is indoors. And usually with games of this genre, or I guess just in general, wanting to make unique teams usually comes naturally as a result of enjoying the game. That never really happens here, and you kinda just coast through after appreciating the art style and premise initially.

a perfectly average game that is definitley not worth the $16.99 price tag. It's on sale for $3.39 which seems more fair for a game of this size.

I've completely forgotten to review this game, i remember it long.. LONG ago, the moment i saw this game i jumped so energetic, i remember playing games from Armor Game Studios, being my childhood memories, it plays pretty much like the original infectonators, but way more polished imo, aswell as the graphics being more pleasing.

What can i say, i've 100% it, there's modifiers so you can keep playing if you wish and it's very easy to play, if you've been a fan of infectonator you should definetly try this game.

Wastes way more time than it needs, load times on everything, news/challenge/random event sequences you'll wish were just messages in the log after the 10th time. Plus the game itself takes way more time than it needs, even with the time pressure of the cure research.
Also, screw the devs for making Warsaw German, you'd be getting a negative for that alone.

This game kind of staggered me because it was the first time I've really played or seen something and was like "Yeah. This is totally from the 2010s". It kind of dawned on me that the 2010s used to be my entire world as someone so young, but now its firmly in the past. Инди игра в которой мы играем за зомби и должны уничтожить весь мир. Мы можем только давать точку старта вируса на локации и расставлять на поле усилители и ловушки, а также подкидывать зомби. Между уровней можно закупиться, подкачаться. Игра простенькая, но очень увлекательная и не мог оторваться полночи и все утро пока не прошел. Ее можно проходить десятки и сотни раз с разными модификаторами, но мне хватило одного и чтобы не портить потом впечатления от рутины решил пройти и удалить. Классная игруля - рекомендую.

Cute, charming ... and bad.

The game is balanced so the better you do the easier it gets, and the worse you do the harder it gets.

There is an upgrade that makes the game impossible if you dont unlock it mid game and that trivialices the entire game once you get it.

Wasted potential.

It's fun for what it is. It's very similar to other games but here you have so much more control and choice in how you manage everything. I will agree with other reviews and say there is a massive difficulty spike in the game. Then the game kinda gets repetitive because its almost impossible without spamming the same things over and over. Items are your best friend here and if you don't use them then you will suffer and if you do then its just repetitive. Still good overall

Got this in a humble bundle and it is a fun little zombie management strategy game. Only recommend if on sale for a couple bucks. Gets kind of grindy towards the end of the game and the whole thing could move a long a little faster but still its a pretty fun little time waster, plus you can blow up India.

어릴떄 플래시 게임으로 했을때, 인터넷창 끄면 세이브 날아가서 며칠을 안끄고 했었다.
그때, 추억으로 구매했는데 생각보다 별로..

옛날 뚱뚱한 모니터 해상도와 지금 1920x1080 차이 떄문인지 처음 들어갔을때, 화면은 큰데 맵은 좁은 느낌이 난다.
그래서 익숙해질 떄까지 답답한 느낌이 들었다.

그리고 난이도가 올라간건지, 추억보정인지 몰라도 플래시 게임일 떈, 뭔가 팡팡 퍼뜨리는 느낌이었던것 같은데,
3편은 초반엔 생각보다 전염성이 높지 않고, 좀비들도 약해서 시원한 맛이 없어서 아쉬웠다.

거기에 경찰, 군인, 특수부대들도 쎄고, 나중엔 나오는 맵도 돌려막기가 심해서 할수록 지루한 느낌.

그래도 바이러스 퍼뜨리는 아이디어 좋고, 중반 재미있고, 추억값으로 추천 준다.

Infectonator Apocalypse es una propuesta divertida si te gustan los juegos de zombies y simulación. Básicamente, evolucionar una infección para que zombies lentos e inofensivos se conviertan en autenticas máquinas pixeladas de matar que, inclusive, tienen la posibilidad de evolucionar para llevar sus capacidades más allá.
La jugabilidad es más un point and click por lo que no esperes tener control directo sobre ningún personaje o hacer algo más que no sea liberar unos cuantos zombies o armas durante los niveles.
Es un videojuego que pese a tener rejugabilidad, para ser honesto, la partida que más se disfruta es la primera y solo vuelves a jugarlo después de un tiempo o para completarlo al 100%.
En resumen, cumple.
