The consept for the game is fun. the game itself-not so much.
Its really difficult but not in a satisfying way.
There are several levels with invisible enemies, or enemies that only show up when you get really close which is rather frustrating as it makes planning difficult in this puzzle game. Shotout to striped fantasy when they are never visable, so you just die over and over again to things that shoot from nowhere.
The hardest character by far is the one you start with. So outside of maybe the bonus levels it gets easier as you go along.
Several levels require EXTREMLY presise timing. The problem is that it often just looks like it isn't possible to do, so you might have figured out the correct solution, but didn't hit the teleport button in the right fraction of a second. Now you think it isn't possible and waste lots of time trying other ways.

The death noise is extremly annoying, and you are going to hear it a lot. All the music is on a short loop, and there is not a lot of variety. Overall really dropped the ball on the sound..

The section with Haim I found kind of fun, but you do have to beat the entire game with Hero before you can play that. Its not really worth it.

jogo bem esquematizado e complexo. o intuito do jogo é confundir a tua cabeça, são dois mapas abertos na tela, tendo que atravessá-los sem ser pego nas emboscadas. os movimentos do boneco nos mapas, são antagônicos.. enquanto um lado do mapa o boneco vai para a esquerda, no outro mapa ele vai para direita aí confunde as movimentações... as movimentações opostas e confusas me atraiu.. bem trolado o jogo.

This is one of the most intelligent puzzle game ever made IMHO. You play a char symmetrically. Need to keep an eye on two different screens, representing two different dimensions and have to solve two puzzles at time basically. Art style is cute buy again, design is something incredible. I think this could be great on mobile and Switch, selling a ton. Worth it on PC too for some instant fun

good story, interesting puzzles. Personally I really struggled with the whole symmetry game play. So make sure you're good with controlling two characters while using inverted controls. Even if personally I didn't enjoy the puzzles due the symmetry game play I do recommend the game due the story and the game play will be fun if you're good at it.

You control two characters at once, one on the left half of your screen and one on the right half with inverted controls. Get both to their exit and you're done. As a bonus challenge, collect a relic with the left (main) character.

This is a nice concept and sometimes this even creates nice puzzles. You have to offset the two characters by moving one of them while the other one is stopped by an obstacle. This alone can get pretty tricky and would have made for a nice turn-based puzzle game. Yet, this game isn't turn-based. You also have to avoid death traps with fixed timings and death traps that react to you. Overall, this results in a weird incoherent mix of puzzles, none of which are remarkable or memorable enough to warrant a buying recommendation.

As a final nail in the coffin, there are some levels, which require extremely tight timings, and some of those passages even feel "cheaty". [spoiler]You can walk with Haim onto a brittle floor and teleport away before dying. This is required exactly once to solve a level. It is possible to walk with the shadow character onto one of those pulsating skull floor plates, execute Nulan's fire spell and leave the skull plate in time without dying. This is also required exactly once.[/spoiler]

No buying recommendation from me.

ストーリーを気にしなければ英語わからなくてもできるタイプの単純なゲームです。
ストーリーもシンプルなものに見えました。
ゲームは基本やさしめでそこそこ難しいものがあるといったレベルなのでアクションそこまで得意でなくても楽しめます。
最後の実績解除まではやりませんでしたが、結構楽しかったです。
ボリュームを考えるとセールなら買いですね。

This is a mediocre 2D retro pixel "pathing" puzzle game where you control two characters that both move at the same time, but on different maps. The developer dishonestly refers to this as "unique" when dozens of retro puzzle games have the same mechanic.

Fixed controls and ugly retro pixel graphics make the game fall below minimum acceptable standard for PC, and cement the sheer mediocrity of this game. You can play these kinds of puzzle games for free in flash and mobile, so there's just no reason anyone should consider paying $12.50 for this. You can get real games for that kind of money.

I enjoyed this game and I'll be honest, I've never played anything like this before. I'm a bit of a goof ball when it comes to games, so you might find it easier, but I thoroughly enjoyed getting lost in it. It was a little repetitive at some times, it was easy at times, it was insanely difficult at times. It took me 9ish hours to complete with 100% achievements gained. I enjoyed the pixel art and the different powers each character had. I like that you had to collect X amount of items before moving forward with content. I laughed a lot, I got frustrated and if you asked me if I would buy the game? I would, 100%, especially if it's on sale :)

If you love tricky and hard af puzzle games, then ignore this review.

The mechanics and the concept of the game is amazing, but it's mostly based on trial and error, meaning that you will have to replay a level several times until you get it right. You'll need to have accurate timings, remember where the traps or the enemies are, etc. If this were not tiring enough, the game will have you play the same levels three times, one for each different character.

I thought games were supposed to be fun. Not frustrating as heck. There were several moments where I was actually considering paying someone to beat the last few levels for me...

This game can get tricky as you have to control two characters, one with reverse controls. It's challenging memorizing hidden enemy positions and avoiding enemy projectiles as if one character dies you'll fail the level. I'd recommend this only if you like tricky puzzle games where you either take your time to think out the solution or you run like hell and hope you don't die.

Es un juego de puzzles, bastante niveles y una excusa argumental para darle un contexto al juego. Completarlo lleva unas 5 horas. Está simpático y cuando lo ponen de oferta es bastante barato.

Si te gustan los puzzles de búsqueda de caminos este juego es una gran opción, pero no busques nada más.

Um jogo de quebra cabeça simples, inovador e divertido. A dificuldade com o passar do tempo vai aumentando a cada fase que você vai passando.

Pontos positivos:
- Quebra cabeça inovador "Duplo"
- Pixelado
- Bons controles
- Boa jogabilidade
- Som acompanha a ação do jogo.

Pontos Negativos:
- Depois das primeiras fases a dificuldade elevada pode atrapalhar alguns jogadores acostumados a jogos bem simples e fáceis mas nada que prejudique a diversão do jogo. (Faz parte :D)

Bon petit jeu de réflexion facile à prendre en main. Bien que plutôt facile dans les premiers niveaux, le niveau de difficulté augmente progressivement en difficulté, pouvant parfois devenir ardu, mais sans être impossible à terminer. Les mécaniques de jeu, différentes selon le personnage joué, permettent de rejouer différemment certains tableaux, aidant parfois à trouver une solution là où on galère avec un autre.

This is a great puzzle game. It's not too long, and not too hard (except for maybe a few levels). Even though you'll be playing the campaign three times, with a different character each time, the puzzles never become repetitive.

Waited til this game was on sale, and got it for a buck. I knew it wasn't going to be anything amazing, all the reviews were from people who got it for free. (Dev friends?) I didn't have high expectations, but it sounded like a cool idea. You die on one level right when you are about to beat it....not worth the frustration and disapointment. I don't mind silly or hard games, but it needs to be playable.

Here's a game with a cool core idea and way too little development. Simultaneously moving two characters through different fields of obstacles is a solid and reasonably fresh puzzle mechanic, but its fun twists and surpising implications are buried under a slew of other half-baked ideas. Even the rotational symmetry that should be fundamental (given the title of the game) turns out to be arbitrary and gratuitous. If the two characters could cross paths and either help or hinder each other, the symmetry would be justified, but since the characters are forever confined to their own separate boxes, they could just as well operate in parallel. Sure, the rotation makes the game a little bit harder, but it's a tedious kind of difficulty, not the good kind that induces the moments of insight that puzzlers crave.

The larger structure of the game beyond individual levels is an organizational disaster. Of the three playable characters—each of whom is fundamental to the game and by no means "extra content"—one characters is playable at the start, one character is unlocked in the bonus levels, and one character is unlocked by accessing a secret exit from one otherwise unremarkable level—the kind of tiny easter egg that you'd expect to unlock an achievement, not one-third of the entire freaking game. As for the plot, it makes little sense at the beginning and goes downhill from there.

If you want a good game that uses (on some levels) rotational symmetry as a genuine puzzle element, play [i][url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/573170/Fidel_Dungeon_Rescue/]Fidel Dungeon Rescue[/url][/i]. Ein interessantes Puzzlespiel von Entwickler [url=https://store.steampowered.com/search/?developer=Gamera%20Interactive]Gamera Interactive[/url], mit interessantem Konzept. Dabei wurde das Original weiterentwickelt und verbessert.

[b]Gameplay[/b]

Wir steuern bei diesem Spiel gleich zwei Figuren und müssen versuchen, diese über zwei Felder voller Gefahren zu bewegen. Dabei sind deren Bewegungen asymmetrisch, sodass die grauen Zellen zuweilen recht stark beansprucht werden. Insgesamt 20 Level stehen uns zunächst zur Verfügung, welche mit drei Charakteren, die peu a peu freigespielt werden können und unterschiedliche Fähigkeiten besitzen, bewältigt werden können und müssen, damit man fünf weitere Level freischaltet. Darüber hinaus gibt es auch noch 10 Bonuslevel die nach und nach freigeschaltet werden können. Alles in allem ein recht passabler Umfang, wären da nicht die sich wiederholenden Muster. Das ist auch ein kleiner Negativaspekt und wird dann bei der Spielzeit sichtbar.

[b]Grafik, Sound & Steuerung[/b]

Mit seinem 2D-Indie-Design und den Animationen ist das Spiel sicherlich kein grafisches Highlight und auch musikalisch besticht [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/725080/Fearful_Symmetry__The_Cursed_Prince/?curator_clanid=32139821]Fearful Symmetry[/url] nicht wirklich. Das ist bei diesem Puzzlespiel allerdings auch wirklich sekundär, denn das Konzept stimmt und hebt sich von den meisten anderen seines Genres ab. Die Steuerung mit Maus und Tastatur war weitestgehend fehler- und problemlos und auch beim Xbox Wireless 360 kam es eigentlich zu keinen wirklichen Vorfällen. Beide hatten allerdings das Problem, dass die Reaktionszeiten etwas träge waren, sodass man das ein oder andere Mal starb, weil das Spiel den Befehl nicht oder zu spät annahm. Man gewöhnt sich allerdings dran und insgesamt war die Steuerung doch recht direkt.

[b]Fazit[/b]

Mit 90% Rabatt im momentanen Wochenend-Sale, kann man das Spiel definitiv empfehlen. Die Spielzeit für alle Errungenschaften betrug bei mir circa 4 1/2 Stunden und damit dürfte ich im moderaten Bereich liegen. Das Spiel besticht durch sein aussergewöhnliches Konzept und ist definitiv mal etwas anderes als die sonstigen Puzzlespiele die man so kennt. Das Spiel kann man auch für Kinder empfehlen um deren logisches und asymmetrisches Denkvermögen zu schulen.

Fearful Symmetry & The Cursed Prince is an extremely fun puzzle game. You guide two different characters who each have different obstacles to overcome. Many times I would move wrong while watching the "dark world" character and die. Most areas require precise movements or one of the characters will perish. It can be a bit confusing and frustrating, but it's so addicting! There are also two locked characters that have special abilities that you can get after finishing the main quest. Highly recommended!

Un petit jeu que j'ai acheté au pif lors des soldes d'été. J'ai passé un très bon moment à me triturer les méninges avec.
L'idée est simple mais fonctionne bien et est bien exploitée. Niveau difficulté, assez facile même si j'ai bien galéré sur certains niveaux (Haim et cette foutue relique dans la forêt..).

Отличная игра-головоломка, я такие отношу к разделу лабиринтов.
8 часов игрового времени (или чуть меньше), примерно три дня, так как за раз - мозг кипит и не соображает и 100% игры у тех, кто любит подобные игрушки, точно будут)))

Приятный саундтрек, хорошая пиксельная картинка (меня не раздражала, при том что я жутко не люблю такую рисовку), в целом приятные цвета и картинка. Банальный сюжет, но это не главное, мы же головоломки решаем, но вот атмосферности добавляет.

Итак, вор украл свитки, принца заколдовали, ученицу Симметрии наказали. Всем им нужно найти свитки, хотя не совсем - Нулан хочет убить свою наставницу)))

И мы отправляемся в лабиринты полные ловушек в мире теней. Сложность заключается в том, что мы должны одновременно проходить их основным персонажем и его инверсионным (в плане управления) клоном\духом\тенью?

И если первые уровни кажутся легкими, хотя нет - первые это сложно, мозг еще не научился думать в обе стороны))) То в последующем становится все сложнее и сложнее, но не сильно. Однако 3 уровня заставили меня изрядно напрягать извилины, иногда пальцы (т.к. требовалась скорость). Иногда казалось - Это не возможно пройти! Тут ошибка! - а потом раз и находится решение.

Ну и самое сложное - два последних бонусных уровня))) Когда вдруг персонаж справа, начинает идти нормально (без инверсии) - мозг то привык. И когда пытаешься загнать в лунки сразу трех персонажей)))

Однако, игра пройдена. Достижения получены (кстати тут очень приятно, что после каждого прохождения уровня дают достижение). И я очень советую ее любителям головоломок, любителям запоминать путь, тем кто будет пытаться и пытаться и пытаться и.... т.д.

Ну и буду очень рада продолжению истории)

어설픈 균형, 저주받은 퍼즐.

서로 반대로 움직이는 두 캐릭터를 동시에 출구에 도달하게 만들어야 하는 퍼즐 게임이다. 언제부턴가 등장했던 '두 오브젝트를 동시에 조종하는 스타일'의 연장선에 있는 게임이며, 흔히 좌우만 반전되는 다른 게임들과는 달리 이 쪽은 상하좌우가 전부 반전되기 때문에 좀 더 게임이 어렵게 느껴진다. 그만큼 머리 쓰는 재미 하나는 나름 보장되는 게임이긴 하다.

퍼즐 게임임에도 불구하고 조작이 뻑뻑해 조작감이 그리 좋질 못하다. 일부 함정들에도 문제가 있는데, 발동되는 타이밍이 일정치 않거나 꼼수로 피해갈 수 있는 방법이 존재해 여러모로 애매모호할 뿐이다. 특히나 나타났다 사라지는 유령은 판정이 오래 남는 데다가 게임 시작할 때 잠시 드러나고 아예 모습을 감추는 식이라 이건 뭐 장난하는 건가 하는 생각밖에 안 든다. 그 밖에 심각한 버그도 몇 개 있어 플레이어의 혈압 상승에 지대한 공헌을 해준다.

3개의 캐릭터가 준비되어 있고 이 중 2개는 해금을 통해 플레이할 수 있다. 하지만 캐릭터가 달라져도 같은 스테이지에 구성이 조금 달라질 뿐이고, 그 구성도 치밀하지 않아 꼼수를 활용하거나 어거지로 클리어하는 상황이 자주 발생한다. 같은 스테이지를 다르게 플레이한다는 건 새롭게 보일 수 있겠지만, 이 게임 만큼은 그게 좀 성의가 없게 느껴진다. 10개의 보너스 스테이지를 포함헤 70개의 스테이지가 준비되있는데, 가격에 비해 스테이지가 많다고 하기엔 조금 애매한 감이 있다.

발상은 괜찮지만 전반적으로는 조금 불완전한 게임이다. 그래도 할인할 때 싸게 구매해서 즐기기엔 나쁘지 않은 게임.

+ puan vermemin nedeni grafikleridir. Üzerinde çalışılmış ve benim çok sevdiğim tarzda bit görseller oluşmuş. Ana menü geçiş ekranlarına özel 3B tasarımlar da yapılmış.

It seems like this game is actually a port from XBox, but that aside, it took me about 12 hours to beat this puzzle game to 100% completion. Oddly enough, puzzles midway through were the cause of most of my mental constipation and I even had my wife look over my shoulder to give me a hand on one of them. Either way, the puzzles were fun and I liked using the different characters to solve the same puzzles in different ways.

For the price and the time it will take for the average person to 100% this game I would say they set it just right. Even better is it is on sale right now and would be a great addition to anyone's library to play over a weekend or when time allowed it.

游戏并不是纯解谜，还包含动作+探索+背板
动作：豌豆射手躲避，踩上会咬人的食人花，明暗地板的时机掌握
探索：墓地一开始不显示哪块有触手，要角色经过周围才能知道
背板：幽灵在关卡一开始会显示然后马上会消失

游戏流程分别用3个不同技能的角色打通基础20关（每关会针对角色不同地图做细小的改变）
3个角色都通关后开启最终5关，每关只有一个角色能够通关，另外二个无解，需要自行判断（不过看收集品就直接知道了）
关卡中还有收集品，可以解锁10个奖励关卡

游戏最大的问题是那基础20关当中有很多关卡3个角色的通关路线几乎一样，甚至更简单，所以在玩第二，第三个角色时会感到乏味
不过5个最终关和10个奖励关挺有趣的，尤其最后一关同时控制3个角色还是有点难度的

I played the original so most puzzles I still remember and it is nice to come back to them. The graphics are the same but the level-select screen is different and now has colour. However I don't like how after you do a level it you need to manually select a level even if there is no fork-in the road to make you pick from two. Making it go to the next level automaticlly would of been nice and let us choose when to go back to the level select.

Nulan is still a joy to unlock however I am enjoying the new character's skill so it is nice they made a 3rd guy to make the game fresh as well as the levels.

However you need to redo levels with the new characters, I understand why but with Nulan some levels have the very same solution as the first guys solution so it can be boring to replay even if the collectable is in a slightly different spot. Just seems like forced padding, they should of made the level slightly different for each character IMO.

Oh yeah, there are collectables now, they open more bonus levels and give you another level of challenge to the puzzles.

Overall I like it, nice with the changes made other than what I pointed out, give ita shot if you are a fan of the original but also a fan of puzzles where you control two characters at once.

Hi, I'm the original developer and designer of the game, Claudio Bozzotta.

First of all, good job for having recreated the mechanics in Unity as they were in the original game maker game.
However, I have to say that I don't like some changes you have made, above all, the fact that levels you already completed gets locked for the secondary characters: redoing everything takes a while, and it's not very rewarding. Consider that some of the levels have pretty much the same solution, regardless which character you use. I'd recommend to change this in the next update

Very interesting puzzle game. I've never played one quite like it and it's cool when something different comes along. The amazing pixel art is very nice to look at as well. I love the soft color's used in this game's art style, they are very easy on the eyes and

The puzzles are good and start off easy and get quite a lot harder. At around the halfway point things become slightly frustrating, at least for me, but I think that's because I was rushing it (and puzzles are hard for me). At the same time, this is when timing mechanics come into play with some ghosts appearing and dissapearing on a timer making it so you have to rush through certain points which can lead to many deaths. This is fine, but can be a little frustrating. There is a cheat you can do to help, I mentioned it in my first impressions video. It's a neat kind of cheat that you actually do in real life that makes the game easier.

There is 25 or so levels and 10 or so bonus levels with 3 playable characters that change how you play the game and give it more replay value after you unlock them.

I would definitely recommend this to puzzle game lovers, especially if you are looking for something a bit different. For me though it does seem a little expensive at full price. While there is replay value and the different characters change things up, I've never been a huge fan of going back and replaying the same levels over again. If you must have it at full price, go ahead, it's a good game. If you can wait though, I'd recommend picking it up on sale and save a few bucks.

Realmente este juego me sorprendió, no esperé que me gustase tanto. Me llevó de vuelta a la niñez, cuando jugaba esos clásicos videojuegos de estilo 2D, donde podías perderte o estancarte por horas antes de poder avanzar, pero eso no importaba porque siempre está presente la necesidad de terminarlo, así de bueno es este título.

Actualmente me falta desbloquear a un personaje, así que me tocará invertirle unas horas más, pues no puedo dormir si no termino cada nivel por completo con todos los personajes.

2、游戏中的豌豆射手偶尔会射不出豌豆，有的地洞不会塌陷，降低了游戏难度。

1、背版。由于玩家需要同时控制两个角色，很难做到同时兼顾，尤其是一些关卡还需要玩家有快速反应能力。
2、当两个角色的其中一个角色到达出口，该角色便会被锁定，这时玩家就可以自由的控制另外一个角色。有些关卡会用到这一技巧。
3、王子海姆在踏上地洞的一瞬间使用“瞬闪”可以防止其掉入洞中。（疑是bug，然而有一关如果想要拿到十字架必须采用此法）
