i remember it was funny and short and simple and the story was not finished

i was waiting for part 2 or something for the story but nope nothing at all.
I wandered dungeons for hours and found one dragon - fast asleep and snoring on the treasure like it owed him rent.
Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus scratches a Golden Axe-shaped itch, but barely — it's a short, clunky brawler that clocks in under an hour and outstays its welcome long before that. The hitboxes are all over the place, making melee combat feel like you're swinging at ghosts, and the humor lands somewhere between 'try-hard' and 'genuinely cringe,' with forced jokes and voice acting that grates more than it charms. The fire-breathing chicken is admittedly a highlight, and the game shines a little brighter with friends in local co-op, but even then the repetitive button-mashing wears thin fast. For the price of a cheap lunch it's not a total disaster, but with so many better brawlers out there, I can't in good conscience recommend it.

Beat'em up for small bobos. Some parody included but that's not enough to make up for buggy gameplay. Levels are a bit tedious to play and overall you gonna find a lot better beat'em ups in 4th generation of gaming and Capcom Arcade Stadium.

Terrible game.
I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Bem, o jogo é um beat 'em up com uma vibe mais paródia, possui um combate MUITO simples, história bem qualquer coisa e personagens totalmente esquecíveis (exceto o calvo com um fio dental bem cravadinho, famoso "Pai de Família").Acredito que existe outras opções de jogos no mesmo estilo bem melhores. Eu até recomendaria jogar com amigos, mas não consegui jogar (não sei se fecharam o onlne, afinal o jogo é indie e já é "antigo").
De qualquer forma, não recomendo jogar. É um jogo chato, maçante e entediante.

Story:
You select one of three different Gleobryn, Rose or Bolax. A trio of anti heroes that fit an archetype of the fantasy genre, who loot and fight together. Together they set out on an adventure to fight off Kobolds that have invaded the land and also reclaim their stolen loot.
The best way I can describe the story mode is that this is all basically a giant parody of games like Golden Axe and a bunch of pop culture moments. There's references to things like Siegfried and Roy which is something only Americans might get and there's a lot more in the short time it takes to finish the game. They cram in a ton of jokes that range in quality, but mostly aren't that funny.
Graphics:
Visually Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus doesn't look that good. I will start of with a positive that I like the designs of the characters and the world itself. There's tons of cool and funny designs and some of the locations you visit, while nothing ground breaking, do look pretty interesting.
However the in-game graphics and the animations look pretty damn cheap. The cutscenes especially look cheap with it looking like a slideshow, which by itself not a bad thing considering the game is a cheap small indie game, but however it feels like the game looks worse because of it.
Audio:
I will say that I was surprised by the fact that the game has voice acting and it's actually not half bad. Everyone does a really good job with their characters and it's definitely the highlight of the game. In fact I'd say it's borderline the saving grace of the game, considering the voice acting is what saves some of the jokes.
However everything else isn't that good, as a matter of fact the audio mixing is also not that good, which slightly ruins the high quality voice acting, which is incredibly disappointing. The music is decent, although particularly great, but it provides decent background noise for the levels.
Gameplay:
I've mentioned Golden Axe and Dungeons The Eye of Draconus is basically a love letter to those type of beat'em'ups, just without any of the heart you might expect from those games. You know the gist, pick a character and go from left to right beating the living crap out of everything that gets in your way.
The game itself works fine, however it's not a very good game. The game is very basic, you don't have a lot of moves you can mess around with, it basically boiling down to mashing a few moves over and over again until you win. It's not a very interesting game.
One thing I feel like every brawler should have is hitboxes that work and feel fair. I've played games that are fun and don't have that, so there's always some wiggle room, but here it doesn't feel fair. I will say that the game is overall pretty simple so there's not any particular moments where the difficulty ramps up and becomes tedious. However it still feels like you're fighting the air most of the time, as your punches fly through enemies instead of actually hitting them.
The biggest issue is that the game feels like it moves at a snails pace. Characters, enemies your attacks and their attacks feel very sluggish and makes a game that's already not that entertaining even more boring. I think most of this could have been fixed with faster movement, but what's done is done.
Verdict:
Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus isn't a particularly good throwback to the golden age of brawlers. With the genre having a resurgence lately and so many great games coming out, this one is better left where it's at, even with it's cheap price tag this is one not worth playing.

Primeiramente gostaria de falar que se vocês tão atrás de um beat em up tem opções melhores por ae como castle crashers, charlie murder, fullmetal furies e etç....
O jogo foi feito na zoeira e tem em torno de 40 min a campanha se for platinar aumenta um pouco a duração, ele é inspirado em jogos como golden axe ou battletoads e os controles são simples (ataca, pula, corre, usa especial).
Historia: Sei lá sai pulando todos os dialogos, só sei que tu controla o pai de familia e amigos e termina descendo o cacete no lula versão smurf, goty apenas HeHe
Contras: As vezes os personagens não usa o especial ou não vira pro outro lado pra atacar, e a hitbox é estranhamente bugada onde não importa o que você faça tu vai levar o ataque, o coop online n funciona mais a unica solução (que n testei) era de fazer uma gambiarra no roteador ae mucho trampo pra 1h de game =/
Prós: tem cartinhas (mas duvido que alguem queira fazer insignia desse jogo) e tem conquistas pra platinar

If you're expecting something like Golden Axe, Final Fight or Streets of Rage you'll be extremely disappointed.
The pixel art and soundtrack are passable, but the gameplay is just button mashing with no real thought involved at all. Hitboxes are weird and there's zero weight to any of your attacks.
Combat mechanics is shallow, hit detection isn't great.

Um ganz ehrlich zu sein: Ich mag Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus. Ich mag den parodistisch-primitiven Humor und habe nach den ersten zwei Spieldurchläufen auch so langsam verstanden wie das Spiel tickt und wie man es am besten angehen sollte, um möglichst erfolgreich durchzukommen. Die darauffolgenden Spieldurchläufe konnten mir dann richtig viel Spaß bereiten.
Dennoch sollte ich für Dungeons eigentlich keinen blauen Daumen vergeben (ich tu es aber trotzdem :p). Das was viele Retro-Beat'em Ups so cool macht ist das intensive Gefühl des Kampfes ums nackte Überleben gegen eine erdrückende Übermacht, welche obendrein mit richtig schön großen Sprite-Grafiken präsentiert werden und ein herrliches Trefferfeedback vermitteln. Da hat man wirklich das Gefühl, man würde die Gegner grün und blau prügeln. Und genau [b]das[/b] ist etwas, was Dungeons so überhaupt nicht vermittelt – und da helfen auch ein paar kleinere Gore-Animationen nicht weiter. Die Kamera ist einfach zu weit vom Geschehen platziert und die Grafik ohnehin zu amateurhaft. Und wenn der unbedarfte Spieler dann noch mit konfusen Gegnerhorden überflutet wird und sich gleichzeitig mit einem nervigen Gimmick-Bossgegner abplagen muss, dann ist der Ersteindruck schon mal ziemlich desaströs. Von anderen Macken wie der bemerkenswert miserablen Sprachausgabe wollen wir gar nicht erst anfangen. Aber wie gesagt, wer es schafft sich aufs Spiel einzulassen, der könnte hier mehr Spaß haben, als man zunächst denken mag.

A short game yes, but the price is fair, and if you like beat em ups, especialy Golden Axe, you should definetely check it out. It is a game that dosent take itself too seriously so hopefuly you are prepared for some humor :)

Présentation façon D&D Shadow over mystara, choix du perso à la Golden Axe en cuir SM et... Ben c'est tout.
Enfin, non, le reste (donc le jeu en entier quoi) est soit trop ou pas assez. On a clairement une vraie lettre d'amour aux beat'em up de l'époque mais sa réalisation est par trop maladroite. Le barbare a vieilli, la valkyre est une dinde et le nain est un mago aussi con que Woodruff dans Discworld mais énervant (en plus).
De longs stages vides, des ennemis en hordes bordeleuses, une gestion des hits au lancé de dés, ya pas de rythme, ya 0 technique de jeu (on mash les boutons et on croise les doigts), continues apparement infinis donc challenge inexistant (on fini par juste frapper en fumant une cloppe de l'autre main).
Par dessus, comme cerise, un doublage ridicule avec des cut-scenes lourdingues.
Pour une soirée avec deux potes et un gros stash de beuh, ok. 2 euros, quoi.
Sinon go chopper Mame et quelques roms, ici z-êtes à la mauvaise adresse.
Yeah, it isn't great, looked like could be nice little parody but it fails to deliver, controls are clunky and unresponsive, hitboxes fell off, fighting is repetitive, tedious and not very satisfying. On the plus side fightin on the rising pile of bodies was nice :)

The game is too short, feels more like a prologue than a complete game.
It could be fun if you have a couple of friends around and an hour to spare. I didn't have any gameplay issues.

Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus is a Golden Axe style arcade beat'em'up with retro pixel graphics and a satirical/comedy fantasy theme.
The voice acting and writing are terrible, best to turn off the sound to avoid it. That leaves the game itself, which is what matters. The graphics are pretty bad. While they had a somewhat talented artist to do the art, the decision to then demolish that quality with a retro pixel theme is unfortunate, but directly in line with the other bad decisions involved in the game, of which the most notable one is the decision not to bother with any extensive testing on PC, so the hitboxes are terrible, the sprites flicker and the game crashes if you alt+tab out (and the temptation to do that is strong). Bonus additional thumbs down for the controller/arcade control hints instead of taking a minute to check if the game is running on PC or not.
Overall this is a half baked mess and slightly reduces the quality of all video gaming.

I controlli rispondono abbastanza bene e la grafica si fa guardare, peccato per qualche asset fuori posto tra uno scenario e l'altro. Per il resto godibile e senza troppe pretese.

This game feels unfinished. From its short length to the repetitive combat to it’s annoying voice acting to the static background level art... I could go on and on listing this title’s shortcomings, but for brevity’s sake I’ll leave it at that.
While there were admittedly a few chuckles to be had, they weren’t enough to give this game a recommendation, even with how dirt cheap the game is during sales.

“Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus” ist ein Retro-Brawler, in dem man sich, wie es in 90ern typisch war, durch die Level prügelt. Zur Auswahl stehen 3 Charaktere, die jeweils ihre eigenen Angriffe mitbringen, sowie eine spezielle Fähigkeit, die man gelegentlich nutzen kann. Das Spiel ist lokal oder über das Internet mit 3 Leuten spielbar, jedoch warne ich vor der Internetverbindung, da das Spiel uPnP benutzt und viele Router mit dem alten System nicht klarkommen. Ursprünglich wollte ich es nämlich mit einem Kumpel spielen, aber dass hatte sich eben deswegen erledigt. Das Spiel selber ist in einer knappen Stunde zu schaffen, wobei das Spiel zwar anspruchsvoll ist, aber wenn ein Charakter keine Leben mehr hat, kann man einfach wieder neu spawnen und im Spiel den Charakter wechseln. Manchmal wäre mir auf dem Weg ein zweiter Spieler einfach sehr willkommen gewesen, da man bei manchen Gegnern merkt, dass das Spiel so konzipiert wurde. Das ist mir insbesondere bei den sehr vielen Bosskämpfen aufgefallen, die dafür sorgen, dass in dieser Stunde keine Langeweile aufkommen kann. Wichtig ist noch zu sagen, dass es sich hier nur um den ersten Teil handelt, was mindestens eine Trilogie werden sollte. Unglücklicherweise wird es wohl aus Kostengründen keinen Nachfolger geben, dass tut dem ersten Teil aber keinen Abbruch.

Wir spielen eine kleine Söldnergruppe, bestehen aus einem dummen Barbaren, einer geldgierigen Schurkin und einem ängstlichem Magier. Diese streifen auf der Suche nach dem namensgebenden Auge, und der Aussicht auf Gold, Bier und Glaubensbrüder, durch das Land.
Wir stoßen im Verlauf der kurzen Geschichte auf erstaunlich viele merkwürdige Charaktere, mit denen unsere Helden wirklich lustige Dialoge führen, was die Bosskämpfe oft noch abstruser macht. Ich fand es auch überraschend, wie viel Charakter die Figuren zeigen, auch wenn es oberflächlich bleibt. Aber ich muss sagen, für eine Stunde Spielzeit wurden hier sehr viele gute Dialoge, Situationen und Charaktere eingeführt. Das Spiel hat mich auf jeden Fall öfters zum Lachen gebracht.
[b]Grafik/Sound[/b]
Da das Spiel ein Retro-Brawler ist, muss ich zur Grafik wohl nicht viel sagen. Es ist eben alles verpixelt und gepaart mit ein paar lustigen Effekten. Allerdings fand ich das Artwork von den Charakteren und in den Zwischenszenen sehr ansprechend und sehr künstlerisch gestaltet.
Musikalisch gibt es eigentlich wenig zu berichten, ist eben typische Kampfmusik. Gefallen hat mir hingegen die gute englische Einsprechung der Dialoge, die gerade durch die Vertonung einfach einiges an Wert gewinnen. Mit schlechteren Sprechern wäre auf jeden Fall nicht soviel Witz, auch bei den Gegnern, rübergekommen. Allerdings fand ich die Dialoge oft zu leise, wenn sie in einem Kampf stattfanden, da die Kampfgeräusche einfach übertönen.
[b]Fazit[/b]
„Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus“ ist mehr als nur ein kurzes Retroprügelspiel. Es besitzt nicht nur einen Koop, sondern auch eine witzige Story mit lustigen Charakteren. Schade, dass es wohl bei diesem einstündigen Abenteuer bleibt und es keinen Nachfolger geben wird. Es ist ein kleiner Preis für ein kleines Spiel, daher würde ich es empfehlen, aber wem das zuviel ist, kann ja auf ein Angebot warten. Für mich ist es das Spiel eine kleine, kurze Indieperle.

Beat'em up algo simple, y muy corto (sobre 1 hora de duración).
A su favor tiene su sentido del humor, y que es barato.

*Disclaimer: Even though I got this game for free, my review wouldn't change even if I had purchased it*
At first I thought this would be a nice side scrolling arcade beat 'em up type dungeon crawler. However, after playing I quickly realised this wasn't the case and here's why:
Pros:
♦ Great intro cinematic (Seemingly decent intro cinematic and from what I saw great cinematics for an arcade game)
♦ Amazing voice overs (Voice overs when different people are talking are amazing. Every game needs voice overs and this one has them spot on)
♦ Can join multiplayer game by IP (This is great as it allows playing with friends in a simple easy way)
♦ Background graphics are great (This is the world graphics/background graphics whilst playing)
♦ Makes use of all Steam features (Trading cards and achievements etc)
Cons:
♦ No items such as powerups, gear etc (Once you start you are stuck with the hero's weapon you are given and there is no armour or items to collect that can change this)
♦ Score means nothing (Collecting items seems to add to score and killing enemies does too. Therefore, score is meaningless as if you complete the game, your score should be the same as anyone else who completes it. Thus, there is no way to have a higher score than another player when playing single player. If in multiplayer score will show whose doing all the work, but beyond that it's still pointless to have a score)
♦ No way to save as you play (I quit after getting to the first boss to try and change a setting and upon hitting loading my saved game, the game loaded back to the start. Also, I couldn't save when hitting escape either. Really unsure how it saves and IMO, it should save before a boss)
♦ Intro cinematic plays whenever it gets the chance (Once on launch, again after the tutorial, again after you quit back to the main menu from within the game and even again when you die. Really, really annoying as it should only play when you first start a playthrough)
♦ No real graphics options (Can't set resolution from main menu, have to do it when launching the game)
♦ Can't attack whilst running right (Right is the way you move and are facing for 90% of the game. Therefore, you have to get the enemies behind you to be able to run and attack them, which is really annoying. Thus, no idea why you can't attack whilst running right)
♦ Tutorial doesn't adapt for input (I'm on a keyboard and it doesn't tell me what buttons do what)
♦ Designed for xbox controller (Tutorial and game interface designed only for xbox controller. You can however change the controls and remap them for keyboard, but this doesn't change the tutorial or ui from displaying xbox controls)
♦ Hitboxes are off (This seems weird, I can be standing back from an enemy and still be able to hit them with a sword when I am nowhere near them. Also, arrows can hurt me when they don't even hit me)
♦ Due to art style some graphics look blurry (This is mainly the character graphics that look blurry but other instances of the games graphics look burry at times too. Really annoying)
♦ Can't skip cinematics (You can skip the intro one and that is it. Should always have the option to skip them if wanted)
Can't access options menu when you have started a playthrough of the game, you have to exit back to main menu (Really annoying as you can't rebind keys or change volume, graphics options etc from within a playthrough)
♦ Playing for 5mins and there is already a boss (This is weird as you've done nothing in the game and you're already facing a boss)
♦ Bosses aren’t bosses (I say this as the boss is just a gauntlet run of how many enemies they can throw at you and as you kill them somehow the bosses health goes down)
♦ No sense of wanting to continue playing the game to the end (I got to the first boss in about 5mins and the annoyance of the hitbox and the boss concept made me not want to finish playing the game any further)
♦ Repetitive (Each level is just a cluster of how many enemies can you destroy before moving on to destroy x enemies in the next stage. There is no mechanism to make it feel like you are doing something different or new at each stage of the game. For example, you don't have to collect a certain item to unlock something before moving on, you just kill x enemies and move on and repeat that concept until the boss)
♦ Expensive (This is due to there being better games in the genre for less money)
Overall, even though the games genre is one of my favourite, I can say I did not enjoy the game and it did not offer me anything that wanted to make me want to play it until the end. The bad hitboxes, blurry graphics and having to start over due to not being able to save when I want annoyed me. Therefore, due to that reason and as there are more cons than pros, I can't recommend this game for any price.
To be honest I expected much more by this game and got disappointed that I've finished it so quickly. It takes a lot from Golden Axe and similar classic games like that but Golden Axe was much longer than this one. However it is quite funny when playing for first time and recommended to play with friends. I expect a sequel as the story points out that there will be one, but maybe it was just a joke of game designers, who knows?
Anyway it is quite funny, well made beat em up title and I can recommend it for a coffee break to play. Steering and hitboxes suck a little bit, but hey they weren't perfect in old beat em ups either, so I guess we shouldn't expect much. Worth a buck but definately not a full price.
This is unplayable, the sprites are constantly flickering and hitboxes are misplaced completely.

It was a nice homage to Golden Axe with some violence. Not bad, not good. Humor helped. So did multi.
I recommend if you like this games, but I don't recommend as in there's def better places to spend 4 dollars.

TLDR: Outcompeted by the large amount of quality brawlers that came out recently. This relies on foespam, imprecise hitboxing and buttonmashing. Pass.
Imperfect SJW indie golden axe with Xbox360 pad support and resolutions support. Good animation on the retrosprites. Quality backdrops. Combat is a little bit weaksauce with foespam and imprecise attacks that are not well differentiated from each other in effects. Buttonmash wins over risk/reward kinetic combat.
This follow the same recipe as Golden Axe series. You get your food/magic vase drops. Your three classes. Your mounts. Instead of fewer dangerous foes that tank a lot of damage, the game throws a ton of smaller easier foes at you. Fun. But also a lot more chaotic. The game did a good job of teaching me the moves and mechanics early on before letting me proceed with the game. However I found that the attack arcs and overall combat felt a little bit floaty and imprecise. I would just kind of... swing things around wildly, with mostly successful results. But there were few instances where, for instance, a downward swing was not much different than the uppercut swing.
Additionally, the game will just be swarming with foes and you will just have to buttonmash your way through and hope food drops to keep you afloat...
Otherwise the game has solid Xbox360 pad support and the launcher had resolution options. The cutscenes were voice acted but were amateur. The cutscenes themselves were a bit low budget which I am okay with because the backdrops where you actually fight, the fighting animations and whatnot are all good to great. The game is reportedly short on content which I am okay with. Features a few difficulty modes and you can co-op with friends who can just jump in by pressing a controller button. Game seemed generous with continues and not too held back by ancient coin arcade game design.
The writing and some of the humor was fairly cringeworthy, everyone is a stereotype, but the female character is of course, charming all around, while the guys are mostly doofus wearing a pink thong an uncharismatic cleric with anxiety issues whom catchphrases include real men being able to talk about their feelings. Whatever...

Cool brawler game

Um beat'em up clássico, curto e com toneladas ironias e piadas, com um coop para até 3 pessoas e personagens cômicos o jogo é bem divertido, porém, bastante curto mas, que vale à pena ser jogado por quem curte o gênero. A espera dos dois próximos episódios que, segundo os desenvolvedores a cada episódio terá o dobro de tempo e história na sequência.
游戏流程约40分钟，就三角色，每角色就一个普攻一个技能，内容简单，容易腻，操作感较差！部分boss判定很迷，死了按回车可复活，同时可选人，法师远攻，其他近战
键位也没几个，方向键移动，d攻击、s跳跃、a捡东西或下坐骑、c技能，然后，然后没了……
总的来说不推荐，至少远不值这个价，联机也不推荐玩这游戏，实在没什么吸引人的地方。

Game doesn't work on any of my computers. All I get is black screen on Vista and XP. From viewing the game files, I like the writing for the character dialogue, but cannot confirm what everyone else here has to say about how bland it is.

Разумеется, в ином игровом жанре история [i]воина[/i], [i]клирика[/i] и [i]вора[/i] едва ли могла рассчитывать на моё сочувствие. К счастью, в отличие от серых комедийных фэнтези-адвенчур, вроде [url=store.steampowered.com/app/215160/]"The Book of Unwritten Tales"[/url], забавные заставки и персонажи (не сказать, что все, но [i]гном-"коммунист"[/i], [i]геи-зомби[/i] и опрометчивый поступок [i]клирика Глеобрина[/i] в городе посреди бескрайней пустыни надолго останутся в вашей памяти) - лишь повод к продолжению жестокой сечи во имя расхищения чужих сокровищ.
От битв мешают получать удовольствие лишь три вещи - дизайн персонажей, сложность и незамысловатая боевая система. Действительно, в пылу жаркой схватки (а врагов здесь подчас бывает довольно много), в особенности при игре втроём, часто бывает весьма проблематично разглядеть их маленькие модельки в сложившейся кутерьме. Вслед за сим стоит отметить и плохую видимость линии огня, особенно критичную для файерболов [i]клирика[/i].
Вместе с тем удивляет и сложность, которая при наличии нескончаемых продолжений однозначно стремится к нулю, что, впрочем, любителям казуальных аркад только на руку. Наконец, более-менее интересной боёвкой не обделён разве что вышеупомянутый [i]клирик[/i], ибо эгоистичная [i]воровка Роуз[/i] и нарочито туповатый [i]варвар[/i]¹ [i]Болакс[/i] помимо вариаций спецумений отличаются друг от друга разве что скоростью.
К положительной рекомендации игру подводит малая продолжительность, наличие плотоядных ездовых слизней (присутствует даже отсылка к [url=www.gamespot.com/battletoads/images/]"Battletoads"[/url] с их участием), на удивление большого количества интересных боссов со своими особенностями и специализации у рядовых противников (не в пример [url=store.steampowered.com/app/204360/]"Castle Crashers"[/url], где все миньоны были универсалами). Буквально всё вокруг, включая симпатичную рисовку, подчёркивающую масштабность локаций, призвано создать задорную пародийную атмосферу, получать удовольствие от которой смогут даже неискушённые в поджанре игроки. Подкачала лишь безвкусная музыка - да и шут с нею, - её сполна компенсирует яркая и эмоциональная озвучка.
В конечном счёте, разработчики даже сбросили цену - видано ли дело, - [b]3 Pack[/b] продаётся по таксе обычной игры в 150 рублей! А ежели дождаться распродажи...

O que dizer deste jogo? Uma tentativa de homenagear beat'em ups e hack'n slahes e ao mesmo tempo lotado de referências do mundo geek/nerd... A jogabilidade é OK, a história é inexistente e as piadas não têm graça. O jogo é bem curto, pode ser terminado com +/- 1 hora e existe a possibilidade de se jogar multiplayer (até 3 jogadores simultâneos).
Enfim, uma infeliz tentativa de jogo que poderia ter sido muito melhor! Quem sabe jogar com os amigos e tirar sarro dele enquanto o joga seja a maneira certa, porque o single-player não é nada bom!

Quel jeux horrible, les controles ont un temps de latence infect, les personnages sont rigides, l'ensemble est mou et sans sensation, les voix sont caricaturales au possible, on se fait gang-bang par des dizaines d'ennemis tous plus rapides que nous, ( heureusement on a des vies infinies ) bref ce jeu reprend tous les défauts des jeux d'arcades sans aucune de leurs qualités. Si vous cherchez le fun, passez votre chemin, il n'est pas dans ce jeu, la maniabilité est trop affreuse pour en tirer le moindre plaisir.

꿈 속에서 내지르는 듯한 타격감은 적이 쓰러졌을 때, 마치 조롱당하는 기분마저 들게 합니다.
아무런 고통도 없는 것 같은데 쓰러지는 적들을 보면 순간,
"이자식들 날 기만하나?" 이런 기분이 들어요.

The game is terrible but it's at least short and easy to make fun of so there's joy in that, The achievements are also very easy.

Лютая трава, но строго для заставших ещё 8-16 битные приставки. Графика почти в точности оттуда, кривое управление большей части предков тоже(не, на геймпаде оч даже играбельно), боевая так сказать система тоже.
Весьма пошлый юмор, вот такого у предков не встречал, донельзя харизматичные персы, не менее харизматичные враги, возможность убивать детей(орков, но и людей успели), и прибить пару ээээ, голубоватых козлов.
Специально для нелюбителей СССР есть даже Гном Коммунист бой с которым проходит под табельную нашу музыку.
Весьма приличная сложность даже на минимуме, гонки заставят олдфага вспомнить Battletoads пожалуй)
Недостаток нашел один, такой что реально недостаток. Игра крайне короткая.
Абсолютно рекомендую, особенно сейчас, стоит копейки.
I've played a lot of beat-em-ups, with some of the most lax being made for OpenBOR.
Sadly, this game ranks with the worst of OpenBOR in terms of combat. Hit detection is absolute crap, and the controls take some time to figure out. And while they aren't that complicated, they also don't feel like there is a attack-type-to-strategy ratio. They either all work, or all don't work.
You'll be spammed constantly at the very beginning of the game by enemies you can't dodge, can't block, and can't defeat all at once. Health pickups are plentiful, with an odd choice of an alternate button for pickup (why can't it be the attack button, like every other beat-em-up ever made in the 1990s?) but never seem to appear when you need them most.
What is redeemable about the game? Graphics are pretty good, and voice acting is moderately acceptable.
What is unforgivable about the game? Cut scenes have great art but are cursed with some of the worst writing I've seen in ages. Game tries hard to look like Golden Axe, but one can't honestly compare the gameplay. The gameplay in this title barely functions.
Oh yeah, and the kitchen boss died in such a way that the game couldn't continue (boss died offscreen). And you CAN'T quit to the menu when this happens and start over--you have to close the whole window or use Task Manager.
By the way, the game didn't recognize my controller. All Steam games recognize my controller, but not this one, apparently.
Cannot recommend this game.
Um ótimo jogo pra matar a saudade dos clássicos Golden Axe, Streets of rage e tantos outros que marcaram a era de ouro dos videogames. Se espera 200 horas de jogo que voce nunca mais vai voltar a jogar, esqueça, pois segue o padrão dos já citados.

Absolutely awful, 90m of repetitive boring gameplay.
Poor hit detection, overly simplistic, brainless combat, poop and gay jokes, and a Monty Python reference that the game pats itself on the back for. Just play Castle Crashers and have some actual fun. I spent 99 cents on this and wished I got a can of Arizona Fruit Punch instead.

worth 2 dollars- a weird and unfinished ode to 80's pop culture drawing strongly on cheap laughs, mostly on gay jokes, I guess.2/10. short, not very funny and worst of all, with very bad hit detection, but it doesn't really matter, since you can continue indefinetely. And lets not forget references that stopped being relevant 20 years ago- seriously, Smurfs as a communist society? That was edgy in '89. Still, not completely worthless, just not good.
A really mediocre beat-em up with really bad dialogues.

- chickens breathing fire
Cons:
- it looks as if it was not finished
- short
- graphics are kind of ugly
- no Demo of this game on Steam
There are many better beat-em ups here and there, go play them instead.

My friend and I were unable to get the multiplayer to work in this. As far as the game itself, the gameplay was bad, the dialogue was good, but the voice acting was bad. I requested a refund for this game.
Il gioco è carino e simpatico ma fallisce terribilmente come picchiaduro a scorrimento con collisioni strane e scarsa leggibilità del quadro. L'estrema brevità è commisurata al prezzo contenuto.
Da valutare l'acquisto in sconto se volete farvi due risate in coop locale con amici.

This game has some of the least likeable characters I have ever seen. Only reason I bothered to beat it was that while playing co-op you have infinite retries. What idiot kickstarted this?
I quite liked playing through Dungeons, but was very disappointed when I came to the end. It just sort of stopped with no warning and a spiel for the sequel, which I'm guessing is not very likely to be released.
As others have said, it's a side-scrolling beat-em-up with adolescent humour and terrible voice overs. But I enjoyed it. It was fun and most of the humour was recognisable from popular (and no-so-popular) culture.
I haven't played multiplayer, but I can see that it would be more fun that way. It's just a shame about the non-ending.
