Dragon Blaze is a vertical scrolling shoot 'em up arcade game released in 2000 by Psikyo. It was ported in 2004 to the PlayStation 2 as part of the Psikyo Shooting Collection Vol. 3:Sol Divide & Dragon Blaze compilation. The game was later also released on its own for the PS2 in Europe by 505 Games.

＜昔買ってレビューを書いていなかった作品。通常のレビューより簡素＞

彩京の最後の縦STG。

前作のSTRIKERS1999よりさらに難しくなっていて、独特なシステムも加わり漏れなく泣きを見る。

彩京のSTGは例外なく、「高速弾」と「パターン必須」のゲームデザインなので攻略には相当の根気が必要だ。

それこそ「一人で何が何でもクリアする」というのでない限り、インターネットがある現在では動画研究でパターンをしっかり把握する必要がある。

一般的な弾幕STGであればある程度のアドリブが許されるというかクリアだけならパターン化は要所要所でいいのだが、本作は道中からボスまで徹底的なパターン化が必要なため、トライ＆エラーに楽しみを見出すことができないとつらいだけになる。

しかし、パターンゲーにありがちなことだが、極めると独自の気持ち良さを味わえるので根気があるならチャレンジしてみるのもいいかもしれない。

もっとも、買って心が折れても責任はとれないが。

사이쿄 특유의 재미를 보장하는 슈팅게임이지만
캐릭터 매력도에선 건버드에 밀리고
기체 재미나 능력에선 1945에 밀려서 애매하게 밀리는 작품이다.
용시스템이라는 나름 신선한 시스템을 선보이지만 괜히 손만 더가고 그다지 매력적이지 않는게 흠인것같다.
총 7가지의 스테이지가 있지만 매 스테이지그 많이 짧은편이고 캐릭터도 4가지 밖에없어서 다른 시리즈에비해 모든부분이 아쉽다고 느껴지는 작품이고 실제로 한국에서는 다른시티즈에 비해 많이 알려지지 않은 작품.

Отличный порт старой-доброй аркады, а ля gunbird. С низким инпут лагом (3 кадра), как в оригинальной версии. Правда CITY CONNECTION опять объелись насвая и запихали полные настройки в папку игры. Теперь, чтобы включить полноэкранный режим - надо идти в папку с игрой и жать ярлык settings.

Очень понравилась возможность натравливать дракона на врагов. Мало того, что он выгрызает из некоторых противников больше монет, но, он так же может ваншотать боссов, когда те раскрывают свои уязвимые места. Дракона надо призывать обратно, или можно подлететь к нему и увести с собой. К тому же он может собирать монеты и паверапы, что дает приличную тактическую глубину.

とにかく弾を撃たれる前に敵を破壊。
雑魚の弾もボスの弾も等しく早く、即やられちゃうのでパターンをひたすら覚える。
必中必殺の心構えで立ち向かわなければならない。

だが悪いことばかりではなく、ステージが短めなのでパターンを覚えるのも苦にならず攻略しがいがあるボス戦ばかり。

This review is more neutral, but while I like what the game overall tries to accomplish as a concept the fact that it's based on an arcade game ideally played with two people completely drags down the overall experience and makes it kind of pointless. In terms of the game itself, the music and graphics are excellent and while it can be completed in fifteen minutes there is a lot of content packed into it. Each of the four characters handles differently and they can shoot, launch their dragon for an attack (Or leave it suspended like a turret) and release a bomb that has a completely different effect depending on the character you are using.

All that is fine and well, but if you start at the lowest difficulty and scale up you will soon see that this is very much for the arcade, because while the mechanics are smart the level design is pure evil and designed to eat quarters more than provide a fair challenge. You can artificially inflate the number of continues to a level where it's impossible to lose, but you will die constantly, eliminating the challenge. If you try to go for the achievements and beat the game on one continue you will probably go insane because it's just broken. All the projectiles in this game consist of pink pellets that flood the screen and block in your character. There are three ways to deal with this: you can dodge, destroy the enemy releasing the pellets, or release a bomb. The bombs are limited, but if you play the game enough you will know when to use them. It doesn't make all that much of a difference because on the medium difficulty you will get bombarded by so many enemy attacks that are impossible to dodge that the game becomes unplayable unless you use one of your continues, which as I said earlier, eliminates any challenge and makes the game too easy.

I have a similar dilemma playing the game "Metal Slug" in that it is fun to play but you have to create a challenge that is usually too extreme to even be enjoyable to actually get anywhere in it. If you really want the achievements there are exploits to all of them except for the one where you must collect the maximum bombs. So while it's fun to examine this game's mechanics and see how it's designed, it's not really a fun experience and is either frustrating beyond words or mind-numbing in that there is no challenge. And that is why arcade games are usually awful when put on home systems.

O jogo é legal e tudo, mas como o primeiro Strikers, é um port com alguns elementos de qualidade de vida, dos quais poucos são de fato efetivos pra fazer o jogo se justificar.

Diria que numa promoção de 50% (casa dos 10 reais), vale a pena, e passou disso já comece a ponderar... O jogo tem gráficos e músicas muito boas de forma geral, mas gameplay de "jogar o dragão" pra frente, uso de magia pra um disparo mais forte e enfrentar um inferno de balas de maneira covarde no típico modelo de "papa fichas" do arcade é meio cansativo a longo prazo.

Mesmo o jogo tendo quatro personagens, e eles sendo bem diferentes entre si, a menos que o todo te pegue, vai ter uma sensação de cansaço bem rápida no jogo. Mas como eu disse, é um bom jogo. Eu zerei uma vez com cada personagem e não pretendo voltar pra ele. Ao menos foi uma experiência razoável num preço acessível.

D'une, ma manette Xbox refoulée à l'entrée! Bien à moi d'avoir mon stick arcade, qui lui va nickel avec le jeu.
De deux, le jeu est topissime!
C'est un Psykio, qui me rappel Gunbird, mais mais aussi, Mushihimesama de Cave! Je les trouve très ressemblant! L'un et l'autre son top, ce Dragon Blaze est une pépite. Un peu daté graphiquement, mais pas le pire de Zéro Div.

There aren't many options for medieval fantasy shmups on Steam but thankfully we have Dragon Blaze, one of Psikyo's best shmups.

Sending your dragon out to slash the enemies for mega damage and bonus points is quite satisfying, allowing for a frantic but rewarding game play style. Each of the four character has unique stats that effect how they feel to play and unique bomb abilities, so none of them feel the same to play. The stages are short and sweet and don't overstay their welcome and an entire run is under 15 minutes. The story isn't much to brag about, though it could definitely use a better translation.

As with all Psikyo shmups, expect quite a difficult game if you are playing on anything above Difficulty 1.

Unfortunately Dragon Blaze still doesn't support Remote Play Together, so if you want to play with a friend I guess you have to play local. That's my only real negative about this port.

드래곤 시스템이 가장 큰 특징이라고 할 수 있습니다. 타격감도 좋고..
보스전에서는 코어를 드래곤샷으로 공격할 경우 테크니컬 보너스(1945III에 적용되었던 시스템)도 있습니다.
난이도는 사이쿄 게임중 가장 높다고 평가 되는거 같아요.
어릴때 오락실에서나 하던 게임을 생각날때마다 코인걱정없이 딸깍거릴 수 있어서 즐겁습니다.

This is my favorite Psikyo Shump. Unique premise, high quality visuals, leaderboard, tight controls, and great music all make this really stand out. Has four characters each with a different play style. Also has just enough buttons to not feel over bearing or under-baked. Has your typical super ability, a bomb, auto shoot, and a special shot. Scoring system is also very intriguing and requires utmost concentration to get the higher scores relying on your bomb to get gold coins. I'd give this a 9/10, the only thing that would make this better for me is maybe a few more stages and another character or two.

Another great shmup from psycho with quite unique mechanics. My favourite after strikers 2, probably because it lacks the simplicity from the former. The game is great. button functions are similiar to strykers 2 but with the added button of a dragon that adds some stategic gameplay to the game has you can use it along your ship (for maximum power) or throw and call it in a similiar fashion to r-type (altough only forward) and have the power distributed bettween the dragon and your ship while it is away. The graphics and sound are suberb. It is a mix betwwen the bullet hell and classic shmups as you have some curtains of slow bullets and some fast and precise bullets (a trademark of psycho). You have to toggle between precise micro dodging and macro dodging. You have a bar that fills when you kill enemyes and if you hold the fire button your dragon spits a powerful shot unbtil you deplet the gauge. The presentation is great (both audio and graphics). the bullet visibility is good and a step above strikers 2. The difficulty is high even for the genre and considering this game was made back in the day to steal quarters. Latter stages will be frustating unless you are a expert in the genre.And that is the main reason that i don´t considerer this game a master piece (altough is close). The port is better than emulation, with low lag, no necessity to go to micro switches to change difficulty settings. I have a joystick and i had some trouble configuring the same and whenecer i run the game i have to change the display settings to tate mode. There is a menu but i can only work well with it with the keyboard (altough during gameplay i can play with a joystick). The price is right consideringthe quality of the game, but the port is a little lazy on those parameters of configuration.

Dragon Blaze has many of the mechanics that Psikyo shoot 'em ups are known for along with an interesting twist. All delivered in a fantasy setting.

Psikyo definitely had mechanics they loved as they are found in nearly all of their shooters. Things like randomized early stages, charge attacks, power ups that never enter the lower screen, etc. And Dragon Blaze is no different all of the Psikyo signature mechanics are here.

In addition, Dragon Blaze also adds a mechanic where the dragon rider player character can hop off their dragon mount. This allows the dragon to be a static shooting point while the player controls the rider to deliver a little extra firepower and seems to be a tad smaller hit box. Along with this, the player can deliver a more powerful attack using the energy in their magic meter. It's not a difficult mechanic to understand, but can be a little tricky to get the most out of it.

The player has the choice of 4 dragon riders. Each with their own special regular shot and limited bomb attack. Which should also be familiar to anyone that has played a Psikyo game.

Overall, the stages aren't especially memorable, but they are aren't bad either. The enemy bullet patterns feel a tad more dense compared to other Psikyo shooters. Though, I hazard to call this a bullethell. If they player stays on top of dominating the screen the enemy bullets are far more managable. And the game has a pretty good play speed to dodge. Although, I never could get a handle on exactly how hit the dragon hit box was. It did seem pretty big for this era of STG. Giving me the impression that maybe I wasn't making use of separating the rider enough.

Graphics, music and sound are all excellent. I personally prefer the old fashion spaceship shooter in my shmup, but the fantasy theme is down well. The music fits well with the genre, and I always enjoyed when my character gained a power up. Especially when completely powered up and they gave a chuckle or giggle.

Dragon Blaze isn't my favorite Psikyo game. However, I still find it to be a lot of fun. It wouldn't a terrible place to start if curious of about Psikyo shmups. As this version has a nice difficulty setting where easy is decently challenging, normal is arcade tough and there's still a few harder settings past that.

I went in expecting a pretty cut-and-dry shmup, and was pleasantly surprised to learn that there's a little more under the surface, even with an incredibly narrow range of difficulties for having 6 options, down to "child easy" and "monkey easy." The complexity comes in with the Dragon Shot mechanic, where you launch your dragon forward, temporarily separating it from the rider in a burst of damage and then making it into a sort of stationary turret until recalled. To survive Dragon Blaze, you need to use the Dragon Shot frequently, but this becomes a challenge when now you need to keep track of the location of two entities instead of one. Provided, the dragon will not take damage, and will continue to shoot while it's separated from its rider, but the game provides bonuses for using the Dragon Shot at opportune times, extra coins drop from enemies, some enemies drop special point boosts when hit with the DS, and every boss has a very brief animation where they're prone to being one-shot by the DS, usually in the midst of a cloud of bullets that make navigation even more difficult.
Mechanically, it can feel a little dry compared to other shmups, especially with more modern advances in the genre, but it's charming in its simplicity, its art style is great, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it makes me think of Panzer Dragoon just a little bit so call me biased if you must.
Its one very very noticeable flaw is its absolute terrible UI, it feels right out of a mobile game port and reminds me of the early days of the Steam Chrono Trigger port that was just straight up the iphone port with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ default fonts and all

Bardzo udany port gry na PC, w końcu można w to grać bez MAME i z osiągnięciami na Steamie :) Jedyne czego mi brakuje tak jak wielu innym to natychmiastowego resetu rozgrywki jednym klawiszem a przy tego typu grach bardzo się to przydaje. Gra działa mi płynnie, nie mam żadnych lagów w porównaniu do wersji MAME.

Najlepszy i jedyny oldskulowy (premiera 2000 r.) Shump któy uwielbiam i chce mi się do niego wracać a to dzięki doskonałej oprawie dźwiękowej i graficznej która jest na niespotykanym poziomie. Rozgrywka jest super dynamiczna ale również casualowo przyjazna do nauki, to nie jest tylko Shump dla maniaków gatunku ale również dla tych którzy dopiero się tym gatunkiem zainteresowali.

Hit the start button, go to game settings, and increase your lives to 9. Next, have a 2nd controller ready. When player 1 is on his/her last life, start up with player 2. If you suck real bad, and player 2 gets down to their last life, then start back up with player 1. YES!!!! That's right the coding for keeping track of this no continues is jank lol. As long as you never "continue", then you can keep switching back and forth lol.

Bomb achievement is 9 bombs. You can get it on lvl.4 as long as you never get hit.

2-player achievements can actually be accomplished by 9x lives , unlimited continues , or you can even add the 2nd character seconds before killing the final boss, and it will still count as accomplished.

Most importantly. Play high and play fast. Constantly, "throwing" your dragon. That move one-shots almost every enemy, and does massive damage on bosses. This style also let's you achieve the carry bonus achievement.

Anyways. Fun game. I'm a bit burnt out on it now that I ran thru it like 20 times in a single week for the Perfect Game achievement, but I still like trying the score attack.

2000年に彩京よりアーケードで稼動したドラゴンブレイズの移植。
魔王によって蹂躙された世界を救うため4人のドラゴンナイト達が魔王ネビュロスを倒す旅に出るファンタジーSTG。
1周7面でエンディング後に更に難易度が上がった2周目が始まります･･･

モードですがオンラインCOOP、プラクティス、リプレイ、ギャラリーモードは、ありません。
あと追加要素もありません。
新キャラでガンバードのマリオンを入れてほしかった･･･（ドラゴンシュートはポムポムで代用）

ゲーム性は初見殺し多め、高速弾主体のガチガチの覚えゲーです。
4面辺りからパターン通りに動かないとすぐ死にます。
自機の当たり判定は見た目通りなので弾が少しめりこんだら死にます。

ドラゴンに乗っている合体時にドラゴンシュートボタンを押すと前方にドラゴンを飛ばす事が出来ます。
これをドラゴンシュートといい、敵に当てると大ダメージを与える事が出来ます。
固い雑魚やボス戦では必須の攻撃です。
ただし、ドラゴンシュートの飛距離が短いので敵との接近戦になり危険度が上がります。

ショットを敵に撃ちこんでいくと左下のマジックゲージが溜ります。
ゲージがある程度溜まった状態でショットボタンを押したままにすると溜め撃ちのスーパーマジックが撃てます。
スーパーマジックは各キャラ2種類あり、ドラゴン合体時と分離時で攻撃が異なります。

テクニカルボーナス
ボスには弱点のコアがあり、戦闘中に一度だけコアを露出するタイミングがあります。
そこにタイミング良くドラゴンシュートを当てるとボスを即死させる事が出来、テクニカルボーナスを得られます。
決まると爽快感が凄まじいです！
ボスを倒すだけならテクニカルボーナスを狙わないでボムを撃ってからのドラゴンシュートやスーパーマジックでゴリ押しした方が早く楽に倒せます。

キャラは4人居ますが一長一短で飛びぬけた高性能なキャラは居ません。
初心者に使いやすいのはソニアかなと思ってます。
ドラゴンシュートの威力が最低でドラゴンの戻りが遅い（もっさりしてる）のが難点ですが、
ショット火力が高い、ゲージが溜まりやすい、溜め撃ち2種が使いやすくて強力なので、
無理に接近してドラゴンシュートを狙わなくてもある程度戦えるからです。
ボムは横の範囲が狭いですが、無敵時間がかなり長いのでボス戦でボム+ドラゴンシュート連発でゴリ押し出来ます。

STGとしては複雑なシステムで操作が忙しいです。
また初見殺し上等（即死レーザーとか）、特殊な軌道で高速で飛んでくる彩京弾は人を選ぶと思います。
ある程度STG慣れした人向けのゲームだと思います。
初心者の人でもレベル1～2なら問題なく遊べると思います。

The dragon charging attack certainly made this game easier than other bullet hell arcade games of the time but one must know that there are two problems in this game.

1. There's configuration menu you can access when launching the game but you can't set everything there. You have to set other stuff in in-game esc menu, and this menu is a bit hard to get used to, because you can't use simple enter and esc, you'd have to use the active xyz gameplay keys, such as shooting key and magic key.

2. You meant to haste the text but you instead just skip the entire ending when you press a wrong button. I mean... Pff! What the heck. Hahahahaha. This game might be the very first game that I skipped the ending. Ever.

「Dragon Blaze」が起動していたら、いったん終了する。Steamの「ライブラリ」の左端、ソフトがタイトル名で一覧となって並んでいる場所にある「Dragon Blaze」を右クリックし、「管理」→「コントローラ設定」を選択する。「コントローラーの画像」が載っているページになるので、中央最下部の「設定を閲覧」を選択する。「コントローラーの設定 - インポート」と書かれているページになるので、「テンプレート」を選択する。「キーボード（WASD）とマウス」と「ゲームパッド」の２つの選択肢が現れるので、「ゲームパッド」を選択する。「プレビュー」と書かれているページになるので、中央最下部の「設定を適応」を選択する。「決定」を押して、ページを閉じる。これでコントローラーは認識されるはずです。お疲れ様でした。（教えてくださった方、ありがとうございました。）

2000年に登場したファンタジーアーケードSTG「Dragon Blaze」のSteam移植。全てのプレイアブルキャラクターが竜に騎乗しているのが特徴の縦STG。「弾幕系」をベースにいわゆる「彩京シューティング」がミックスされている。プレイアブルキャラクター４人。全７面。Steam実績、Steamクラウド対応。
１クレジットあたりの自機の数９、コンテニュー無制限、EASY難易度の「４」でプレイしたみたところ、何度もコンテニューを繰り返しながらも約２０分でクリアー（Normalでは最終面のSTAGE７をどうしてもクリアーできなかった）。
全体的に難易度が高く、STG初心者には難しいと思う。ゲームのルール、特殊操作がSTGにしては複雑で初見では苦労すると思うが、理解していくと攻略が明らかに楽になる。竜を突撃させて、プレイアブルキャラクターと分離する「ドラゴンシュート」は射程こそ短いものの強力なので、使い方が分かると楽しい。スルメゲー。ただし極端な覚えゲーでもある。
残念なところは、コントローラーの設定に手間がかかること。設定の関する項目が分断されていて手間がかかること。「Remote Play Together」、「ステージセレクト」、「中断セーブ」、「リワインド機能」がないこと。後半ステージのコンティニューがステージの頭からになること（その場スタートと、頭からを選択できたらうれしかった）。

It works perfectly as far as I can tell, but it's pretty barebones.

Would love to see two things being added: a practice mode and the ability to play with the default stage order. Without these two features, I can't say that this is my preferred way of playing this game.

As for other nitpicks, the SFX seem to sound a bit different from the arcade release? There's also no quit button in-game, so you need to either go to windowed mode and close it, alt+F4, or close it via Steam. There are also two separate settings menus (the config tool and the in-game settings), and it would be great if they are combined.

In terms of what it did well, there is controller remapping and built-in autofire for shot. The input lag feels pretty similar to the arcade release.

Again, it's an accurate port if that's all you're looking for. I think it's worth buying on a sale.

彩京らしいゲームです。全7面。コンテニュー回数と自機数は無限と9機に設定可能。
攻撃はショット、ボム、チャージの3種類。乗機との分離はありますが、R-Typeとは違い、場所は変わらない。

移動速度は全体的に遅め。敵弾は自機狙いではなく、ばらまき。

一つ気に入らないのは、実績に二人でやってクリアしないととれないのが全パターンあること。

Dragon Blaze est un shoot'em'up qui est très ressemblant à Striker 1945 et Gunbird. Sauf que cette fois-ci, le jeu se déroule sur le thème médival que vous dirigez un guerrier qui monte à bord d'un dragon volant. Vous avez le choix entre 4 personnages qui ont chacuns leur point fort et leur point faible et votre objecti est de tirer sur tout les ennemis sur l'écran en complétant divers niveaux et détruire le boss à la fin de chaque niveau. Graphiquement le jeu est très beau, les musiques sont de très bonne qualités, la jouabilité est très bonne et facile à prendre en main, la difficulté est assez élever et risquera de vous donnez du fil à retordre pour en venir à bout. Et pour la durée de vie elle est très courte mais raisonable. Les 2 seuls reproches de Dragon Blaze c'est que son concept ressemble trop à celui de Striker 1945 et Gunbird et que l'inconvénient de laisser notre dragon fixer pour tirer sur une cible rend notre personnage moins puissants. Je trouve que c'est un jeu qui est plus original et qui est plus réserver pour les fans de shoot'em'up. Mais j'ai eu quand même du plaisir d'y jouer parce que c'est le genre de jeux que je préfère jouer.

Dragon Blaze is a pretty good shooter, but it is one of the more difficult ones. I can withstand a lot of bullets, but Dragon Blaze is over the top. The game plays smoothly and is responsive at 60fps. Once again, the developer has created options for us to make it through an old school shooter such as unlimited continues, extra lives, etc. without throwing our hands up in despair. Allowing the Dragon to be released provides additional strategy for providing more offense. You'll need the extra help.

On the downside, I didn't care much for the drawing style or the goofy endings. I suppose there are those who would partake in a hearty chuckle, though. Since the game is pretty tough, It doesn't hold my attention like Gunbird does. Pickup Dragon Blaze to incentivize the developer to release more arcade shooters or if you enjoy a good beat-down.

彩京的彈幕射擊遊戲向來沒個打飛機的樣子，本作也是一樣，設定在了一個魔幻世界的背景下，玩家將從四位龍騎士（火，水，電，骨）中選擇其一，一關一關往後打。四個機體的區別還算比較大，火和骨算標準的棍機，水龍的範圍比較廣，雷龍則是散彈，從第三次強化開始玩家會得到僚機火力，骨龍的跟蹤劍僚機也讓它與火龍有了足夠的區分度，各個角色的炸彈也是各不相同，如水龍可以召喚波塞冬使用強力直線攻擊，火龍則是全屏的火雨。本作最值得一提的是成為龍吼的機制，可以將座下的龍發射出去，作為固定炮臺，自己則使用初始火力的本體進行移動和戰鬥，不管是定點輸出BOSS方便自身走位，還是封鎖一路敵人自己再懟另一路都很方便。

Ambientado en un mundo de fantasía, Dragon Blaze narra la historia de 4 jinetes del dragón (el noble Quaid, la grácil Sonia, el enano Rob y el siniestro Ian) enfrascados en una búsqueda frenética de las 4 piedras de poder por todo el reino por orden del Dios del Sol. Se supone que una vez reunidas las 4 piedras éstas pueden abrir un portal hacia otro mundo en el que hipotéticamente un valeroso grupo de héroes podría entrar para acabar definitivamente con el mal que surge de ese otro mundo y contamina las tierras del reino.

Como vemos, no se puede decir que Dragon Blaze sea un portento de originalidad. No obstante, hay que recordar que hablamos de un matamarcianos por lo que el que se hayan molestado en escribir un argumento, desarrollarlo para cuatro protagonistas distintos con sus pequeñas escenas entre fase y fase y al final del juego es muy meritorio. Para añadir aún más detalle, Dragon Blaze tiene la estupenda opción de jugar a dobles y los diálogos y finales varían dependiendo de la pareja por lo que las posibilidades de desarrollar el mundo y picar al jugador para descubrir nuevos detalles solos o en compañía son altísimas. El juego está entero en inglés pero es un inglés bastante básico que cualquiera podrá seguir sin problemas.

[h1][b] GRÁFICOS [/b][/h1]

Dragon Blaze es un juego del año 2000 pero también hay que decir que es un matamarcianos del año 2000. Esto puede parecer una perogrullada pero no lo es en absoluto. Como juego normal obviamente hoy no da la talla, cuenta con gráficos basados en sprites 2D así que no vamos a ver espectáculos gráficos como los que podamos ver en un Battlefield V o en un Cyberpunk. Pero también hay que tener en cuenta que es un matamarcianos del año 2000, de cuando el género aún era muy rentable en recreativas y se destinaban buenos presupuestos para hacer juegos más bonitos y cuidados.

Esta perorata viene a decir que los gráficos de Dragon Blaze, siendo sprites 2D, son de lo más resultones. Vamos a encontrarnos con bosques, desiertos y parajes excelentemente detallados y llenos de vida. Destruiremos enormes y suntuosos carromatos en los que podremos ver todo lujo de detalles y podremos sembrar el caos en completa fluidez y sin una sola ralentización. Sigue una estética bastante semejante a la de otra obra maestra del género como es Bug Princess/Mushihimesama de Cave. De hecho, podríamos decir que este juego es una especie de "contestación" al gran éxito del que gozó Mushihimesama, tomando gran parte de la ambientación y detalles para darles el clásico toque Psikyo. Para más gloria, el juego prácticamente funciona en cualquier equipo debido a sus bajos requerimientos gráficos porque este tipo de gráficos solo piden memoria y tampoco es que pidan mucho.

[h1][b] MÚSICA [/b][/h1]

Del apartado musical no puedo comentaros mucho ya que, como suele pasar en los juegos de Psikyo, las melodías no destacan demasiado. Son alegres, están bien compuestas e interpretadas pero cuesta mantenerlas en memoria.

En cuanto a voces, resultan claras y en un perfecto japonés la mayoría de las veces aunque será complicado que les prestemos atención entre toda la ensalada de explosiones mágicas, petardazos y rugidos de toda clase de bestias legendarias. Sin duda las partes más reconocibles son las frases que pronuncian nuestros personajes cada vez que ampliamos el poder del arma, y las carcajadas que sueltan cuando ya la tenemos al máximo pero aun así recogemos potenciadores.

[h1][b] JUGABILIDAD [/b][/h1]

Antes que nada, hay que decir que Dragon Blaze es un matamarcianos clásico con todas las de la ley, sin experimentos ni alharacas. Eso significa que su jugabilidad se basa en la acción pura y dura combinada con momentos de gran habilidad donde tendremos que esquivar miles de balas de manera simultánea buscando siempre el hueco que nos permita sobrevivir. Esto puede parecer una jugabilidad algo simple, pero veremos como la cosa puede complicarse hasta niveles insospechados.

Para empezar, cada uno de los 4 personajes es distinto pues varía su tipo de ataque, su tipo de magia, su bomba especial, su velocidad e incluso el tamaño de su caja de impacto. El sistema de disparo también varía con respecto a los tradicionales juegos de Psikyo como Aero Fighters. Al disparo normal y la superbomba que nos limpia la pantalla hay que sumar la magia especial (que potencia nuestro disparo normal y se recarga con el tiempo) y la insólita posibilidad de separar dragón y jinete. Esto funciona de manera bastante parecida a como pasaba en R-Type cuando separábamos nave y option para disparar desde dos frentes pero aquí debemos tener en cuenta que lógicamente nuestro personaje no se mueve a la misma velocidad cuando va a pie que cuando va montado en su dragón.

A nivel jugable podríamos aventurar que es un juego que moderniza y mejora la jugabilidad clásica de Aero Fighters, un juego sobradamente conocido y querido por los aficionados al género y muy especialmente por los fans de la consola NeoGeo de SNK. No obstante se las arregla para ir corrigiendo pequeños fallos como una mejor visibilidad de las balas (ahora de un rosa que constrasta mucho con los escenarios como debe ser). También conserva muchas de las marcas de la casa como las balas que nos persiguen a toda velocidad o que dependiendo del personaje que escojamos empezaremos en un nivel u otro.

Una detalle muy destacable es que cuenta con nada menos que 8 niveles de dificultar para poder graduar la experiencia a nuestro gusto. No obstante sed precavidos, pues Dragon Blaze cuenta con una limitación de 3 créditos y 2 vidas por crédito. Aunque bajemos la dificultad al mínimo tendremos que prestar toda nuestra atención a lo que está ocurriendo en pantalla y ser bastante ágiles a la hora del esquive. También hay que destacar que contamos con 4 finales distintos (uno por personaje) y otros seis finales distintos "ocultos". No es que estén ocultos, es que diálogos y finales variarán si estamos jugando a dobles por lo que hay varios finales si jugamos acompañados.

No tiene modo online, pero sí rankings y modo Time Attack.

No cuenta con cromos de Steam, pero sí con 32 logros por desbloquear.

《Dragon Blaze》[spoiler]查了下中文名貌似叫《龙之光辉》？[/spoiler]是彩京公司（PSIKYO）在2000年本世纪初推出的俯视角弹幕射击游戏，同时本作可以说是彩京的一款集大成的重量级作品。本作不论是从玩法、游玩技巧还是boss战系统都一脉相承自《Striker 1945 III》（《打击者1945 III》）。游戏背景设定在一个充满了魔幻元素的类西方魔幻世界，玩家扮演着一位龙骑士冒险于这片奇幻世界中，可以说是西方魔幻元素与弹幕射击玩法完美契合的典范。但本作同时也是彩京传统2D弹幕游戏的最后一款作品。

[h1]游玩体验[/h1]

游戏较为新颖地跳出了弹幕游戏传统的打飞机框架，大胆地选择了西方魔幻背景，同时在其中还融入了很多诸如机甲、机械建筑等蒸汽朋克元素的场景及敌人。在游戏中玩家将带领着四名各怀绝技的龙骑士（火龙骑士、水龙骑士、雷龙骑士和骨龙骑士）为了找回丢失的能力宝石而奋战。正是因为这种魔幻+蒸汽朋克的独特组合带来的新鲜感，促成了本作在同类型作品中那与众不同的有趣体验。

因为传承自《Striker 1945 III》等同类优秀作品，本作在玩法上也延续了这套成熟的玩法体系，这也算是从侧面证明了彩京这套玩法体系的成功。因此在玩法上并没有过多的改动，彩京作品中常见的副武器、蓄力攻击等自然都不会少。本作较为独特的是开创了一套名为“龙之咆哮”（“Dragon Shot”）的新系统，在战斗中可以让骑士与龙分开各自单独作战。虽然分离之后骑士的火力会受到一定程度的限制，但龙可以停留在固定的位置保持原有的火力持续攻击，并且龙自身是无敌的不会受到敌人攻击。且被“龙之咆哮”所击杀的敌人会掉落金币（也就是分数）。可以说这个“d-shot”就是游戏最核心最关键的玩法，在面对boss时非常有效。首先将龙作为炮塔持续不断攻击boss；并且每个boss（除了最终boss）在进行攻击前，会在短时间内暴露出其的核心（可以理解为暴击点），在这一段时间内通过攻击核心将其击杀能够获得比普通方式击杀boss还要高得多的分数。因此掌握“龙之咆哮”就是本作的关键以及核心玩法。

在彩京统治STG市场的时间内创作出了大量优秀的作品，但后来并没有顺应时代的潮流在电脑游戏和网络的冲击下在短短几年时间里迅速衰落瓦解。本作作为彩京2D竖轴弹幕射击游戏的集大成但也同样是彩京的最后一款2D弹幕射击游戏。本作就算放在今天来看还是有亮眼之处的，对喜欢彩京作品的玩家来说，不论是为了情怀补票还是为了再次体验下这部大成之作我觉得都是物有所值的。

恐らくsteamで提供されている彩京シューの中で一番忠実に移植されている作品だと思います。
2周目ネビュロス第1形態で処理落ちが全くないというPS2版と同じ問題点を抱えているものの、それ以外で困った部分が見当たらないので基板・PS2版を遊び慣れた方でもほぼ問題なくプレイ出来るでしょう。
※突き詰めた稼ぎが元と遜色ないかどうかは不明

○他の方に指摘されてない部分で個人的に気になった箇所
・クレジットが入らない(クレジット文字での位置合わせが出来ない)
・スコアタモードの場合ネームエントリーが出来ない
・解像度設定が極端(1280の次が1920)なうえにウィンドウの大きさ調整も出来ない
・スタートを押しても曲が止まらず流れっぱなし
・横画面モード時はゲーム画面のみに出来ない(黒幕には出来るがウィンドウ部分が残る)
※縦画面モード時の挙動は未確認

ステセレ等の練習モードが無く万人におすすめ出来る移植内容とは言い難いですが移植度が非常に良好なドラブレがこの価格で入手出来る点は大変素晴らしいと思います。彩京シューをカジュアルに遊ぶ場合やホーム媒体をPCに移そうと考えている人には良い選択肢になる移植です。

Stylistically this is by far the most unique vertical Psikyo title. Alongside GUNBIRD 1 and STRIKERS 1945 II, this is my personal favourite to play through.

The mechanic of controlling a dragon separate from the rider can be used similarly to GUNBIRD 2 melee attacks, however it also allows for auto shot and burst shot abilities to be used from a proxy location.

도전과제 전부 달성.

솔직히 게임 자체는 사이쿄답게 잘 만들었고, 캐릭 밸런스도 소니아가 제일 진행하기 편한거 빼면 스트라이커즈 2편 라이트닝마냥 눈물만 나오는 캐릭은 아예 없습니다. 새로 추가된 용 관련 시스템도 복잡해지긴 했지만 괜찮다고 생각합니다.
다만 이 장점들을 다 까먹는게 난이도 관련 문젭니다.
그나마 플스로 솔 디바이드랑 합본 이식됬던 기록이라도 있어서 간신히 콘솔 난이도 체계 (1~7) 를 받은거 같은데, 이건 정말 3~4 정도 세팅으로 해줘야 좀 적당하다고 느껴질 수준이에요.
진지하게 공략으로서는 추천 못할 게임. 적 배치 외워야 하는건 딴 사이쿄겜도 그랬지만 이건 더 심합니다.

뭐 물론 즐겜용으로 난이도 1~2 정도로 겜하실 거면 아무래도 좋은 얘기. 게임 자체는 재밌긴 재밌습니다.
그리고, 모비릭스에서 이식했던 모바일 버전은 한글 번역이 되있던데 이쪽은 없네요.. 유감이랄까.

游戏的总体感受还是相当不错的，延续了很多《打击者3》的特色，并且这次的题材选用龙骑士，十分的魔幻，游戏的战斗过程还是一向的刺激有趣，其中有很多难度层级可以选择，可以适合于很多的人来进行游玩，怪物的种类也十分的多，也使得战斗的过过程需要一定的策略性，不可盲目进攻，刚开始玩还是比较难的，很容被敌方的子弹击中暴毙，在经过一定的适应之后，则可以降低被暴毙的几率，而且除了传统的射击玩法之外，龙人分离的方式更是一种创新，让我们可以更好的应对不同的情况，也让一些场景变得更加的简单，但不管怎么说，最基本的底力还是得玩家自己训练，拥有良好的心态和谨慎的操作将会是获得高分的前提，若是实在感到困难，请适当的进行一定的背板，来应对敌方的来袭，这样将会让闯关变得更行之有效，游戏体验也会更加舒适。

《Dragon Blaze》是彩京于00年推出的重量级作品，本作也是彩京弹幕射击类游戏的集大成之作。本作在战斗策略，玩法技巧上都延续了《打击者3》的特色。此外其西方魔幻的背景设定，竟然与弹幕射击的玩法契合的恰到好处，自然本作也成为了一款优秀的射击游戏。对喜欢彩京的玩家来说，本作还是值得补票缅怀一番的。

本作不再拘泥于打飞机的通常构思，而是大胆地选取了西方魔幻龙骑士的背景。在本作中玩家将控制四位身怀绝技的龙骑士来对付一种妖魔鬼怪，找回丢失的能力宝石。不过虽然如此，游戏中的怪物并不是清一色的魔幻产物，一些机甲和钢铁构筑的玩意让本作也有了些许蒸汽朋克的既视感。不过真是如此，这个独特的风格下才诞生了如此有趣的作品

当然在玩法上本作改动并不算多，毕竟前些作品的成功印证了玩法的成熟。游戏的独特在于新加入的“龙之咆哮”系统可以让骑士与龙分离作战，虽然分离之后骑士的火力会变弱，但龙就可以停留在固定的地方保持原有的火力作持续攻击，这一点有些像僚机系统单页做出了一定差异性，使游戏更富有变化性和策略性。此外游戏的技术得分链和累计拾取加分也是那些打榜玩家需要注意之处。

彩京当初正是由于市场选择统治了STG小十年的时间，但是也正是问问市场的选择没能再次坚守住STG这块阵地，而本作就是彩京在弹幕射击类游戏中最后的辉煌，此后虽有尝试3d射击的零式战机，但是也并未在掀起太多风浪。总而言之彩京虽然声势不在，但依然值得我们怀念。

This is my favorite games from PSIKYO! Great port even there're something missing like restart button for stage.

What is stand out for me for this port and I really have to praise CC are the quality of sprite and sound just amazing!

this port even came with a manual no more wondering how game mechanic work for now fork who want to try the game!
Online ranking working fine! (Like now there're like 70 people on ranking)
What I really want is a leaderboard for CO-OP and make steam remote play work with this game would be nice.

But yes this is solid port and just 9.99 It's worth the full price people!

2000年に彩京からリリースされたアーケード用シューティングゲーム。
歴代の攻撃方法やシステムを踏襲しつつも、より改良が加えられ、遊びやすさ・爽快さが増強されている。
特にドラゴンによる近接攻撃、分離攻撃は本作の特徴の一つで、面白さに直結している。
おなじみ彩京独特の高速＆多方向弾も健在で、若干弾幕要素も増えている。
正に彩京シューティングの集大成ともいえる作品。（但し難易度の高さも集大成ｗ）
当方は、当時ゲームセンターでどっぷりやり込み、ゲーム性にもどっぷりハマったこともあり、おススメの作品。
一風変わったゲーム性に是非触れてみて欲しい。

敵は結構硬い上に放っておくと大量の弾を吐き出すことから、これらの多彩な攻撃をどう使い分けるのかを考えるのが非常に楽しいゲームとなっている。
[*]キャラクター毎の性能が特徴的で、それぞれ異なる攻略法を考えるのも、楽しさの一つになっている。
一長一短はあるが、初心者にはボムが使いやすくバランスの良いクエイドや遠隔攻撃が強いソニアがおススメ。ロブ・イアンはかなり尖った性能のため、上級者向きと言える。
[*]ストライカーズ1999から採用されたテクニカルボーナス（一撃でボスを撃破できるシステム）も健在。コアが開くタイミングを見極め、敵の弾を誘導して接近するパターンを構築するのが面白い。コア破壊が苦手であれば、ドラゴンシュート連打で速攻撃破することも可能（ボムは必要になることも多いが）なので、好みによって使い分けることも出来る。

[*]設定は7段階あるので、腕前に合わせて楽しむことが出来る。最低難易度にしてもあまり変わらないシリーズもあったが、本作はちゃんと？易しくなっているので安心。
[*]Easy以上の難易度に限れば、彩京シリーズの中でも高め。彩京特有の高速弾に加え、弾の量も多いため敵の処理が遅れると一気に劣勢に立たされ、ボム確定となってしまう。（特に5面以降の弾の多さはヤバい！）
加えて、クエイド以外はボムの範囲が限定的なため、追い込まれてから使っても形勢が逆転しづらい点もつらい所。
[*]これらを凌ぐためには、パターンを覚えて各種攻撃を先手を取って効果的に使う（前に出たり、事前にドラゴンを分離しておく等）必要が出てくる。最初の内は中々うまく立ち回れないが、使いこなせるようになるにつれて、どんどん安定してきて楽しくなってくるので、そこが気に入ればかなりハマると思う。
[*]逆に、気軽に遊びたいという層にはそういった点が煩わしく、敷居が高いと感じさせてしまうかも知れない。

オリジナル通りではあるのだが、どの組み合わせでもEDやストーリが殆ど同じなのは残念。（今まで二人用のストーリーにはかなり力を入れていたので、彩京のコダワリはどこに行った？と当時は思ったものです）
[*]オンラインランキングがキャラ別ではない。キャラ毎に稼ぎ効率や攻略のしやすさが全然違うので、キャラ別集計にして欲しかった。
[*]練習に適した機能が何もない。彩京シューティングは、パターン性が強いゲームなので、高ランクでの高速弾や弾幕を思う存分練習できる機能は欲しかった。個人的にはランク調整・パワーアップ調整付きの面セレクトやボスモード、どこでもセーブ・ロードがあればいう事なしだった。

[*]高難易度のノーコンティニュークリアが一見難しそうに見えるが、クリア直前にP2を乱入させれば楽に取得できる（恐らくP2がノーコンティニューでクリアしたと判定されている）。後半面はコンティニューすると最初まで戻されるが、9機設定であればボム使用⇒ドラゴンシュート連打で押し切れると思う。また、確認はしていないが、コンティニュー無限だと解除されないと思われる。（ほかのシリーズもそうだったため）

You'll have a blast with this one! Dragon Blaze stands for me as the pinnacle of 2D Shoot'em Up's (Shmup) by the developers once known under the brand of Psikyo. This game finally made them a legendary brand. Dragon Blaze hit the Arcades in 2000 and likewise hit me as the fire storm the dragon unleashes in the game. While Arcades where already dying everywhere apart from Asia at the time, this game was mostly missed by many and only years later in 2005 made it to a japanese-only release on the PS2 for most people to enjoy.

Most striking in this title is the perfect pace and balance between shooting enemies and avoiding bullets and the versatility of characters to choose from. It feels so good to play as if the Shmup gods send it down as a farewell to the golden age of arcades and their games. It's not too fast but very fluid in it's speed to play. Very intense but never overwhelming with bullets. It's an old breed of games in it's highest sophistication, where it's not impossible to watch bullets and enjoy the beautifully drawn and colored bitmap graphics at the same time. That's how this classic genre should feel, when you are made aware the long way it came from Space Invaders to Galaxian and Xevious to the 16-bit era in the mid 1980ies.

A pure gem grinded by the master's hands, Dragon Blaze offers the players a culmination of skill and weapon power, that brings you immediate joy from the first pixel to the last chip tune.And in 2020 the best of all: with Steam and Valve Proton it runs well on Linux. This is one of the best Shmups of all time. Have a blast!

Playing this on Monkey difficulty(basically the easiest setting), and all of a sudden got curbstomped in stage 7 when the spike was huge. 10/10

No but legit, a decent of a great shmup. Definitely get it if you're a fan of the genre

Can't say much. It's one of the awesomest (:p) games in the history of the arcades.

Those 'in the know' (meaning dedicated shmup fans) will cherish this, and all previous releases by CITY CONNECTION.

We (shmup fans) should remain positive; otherwise no other port of these iconic STGs would be offically produced.

ドラゴンをぶつける大攻撃力で敵を粉砕するシステムが非常に気持ちのいい作品なのですが、
難易度が非常に高くガチガチのパターン組んで画面上部に張り付かなくてはまともに進めないようなゲームでした。
以前のPS2移植でも難易度調整があまり機能していなくていくら下げても難しいままでしたが、
今回は難易度下げればちゃんと簡単になってくれるので実力に見合った難易度で破壊の楽しさを味わえます。

One of Psikyo's best shooters of the era, and an all-round great bullet hell with 4 characters, 7 stages and 2 loops. The scoring system is simple to grasp but difficult to master, while the difficulty scales well. There's a fair bit of variety between the characters and all require different paths and strategies. The music is excellent, as is the art design across all seven stages, the first 4 of which are chosen by random, which adds a degree of difficulty and variety to the first half of each playthrough.

The central mechanic of Dragon Blaze is the ability to separate the rider from the dragon, called the Dragon Shot. When engaged your dragon will dash forward quickly doing a great amount of damage to anything directly in front of it, before returning to a stationary position. Any enemy killed with the d-shot will release gold coins, which can be picked up by dragon or rider. Also, it's worth noting that while separated your character's charge shot (which is powered by the regenerating magic bar) takes on different characteristics.

As well as opening up avenues for greater scoring, the d-shot is also useful against bosses in two ways: firstly, placing the dragon down as a turret allows you to keep damaging the boss while avoiding bullets, and secondly each boss (except the last) will reveal a central core for a few frames during one of their attacks. This is well worth looking out for, as hitting the core in the brief window it's visible with a Dragon Shot will kill the boss instantly and score you a fat bonus. Mastering the d-shot is key to Dragon Blaze, not only for dealing and avoiding damage, but also for creating coins and collecting them.

The port seems pretty bare bones, but it has controller support and works well enough. Definitely recommended if you're a fan of shmups, especially Bullet Hell games.

カルト的な人気を誇る、かもしれないドラゴンブレイズのSteam移植です。
気合避けがまず通用しない超パターンゲーですが、パターンが完成したときの達人のようなプレイングの味わいは格別です。

Steamにある東方のLunaticをノーミスノーボムクリアした！Crimzon CloverのUnlimitedをクリアした！虫姫さまのウルトラをクリアした！
などを達成し弾幕STGにいくらかの自信を持ってしまった人は本作に挑戦してみましょう。それらとは全く違う地平を見ることができるでしょう。
とはいえ、ボムはかなり撃てますしクリア狙いならば恐ろしく難しいというほどのものではない(抱え落ちしなければの話ですが)。

AC版との明らかな違いとしては、
・7面ボス第1形態のある攻撃(2周目ではカーブするやつ)に処理落ちがない。
という点でしょうか。わりと些細な部分かなと。
PS2版を元にしたのかな？とも思いましたが、ボーナスキャリー出現音がついているので驚きました。
とりあえずコンティニューして思い出しつつ2周しましたが、全く違う攻撃や敵配置があるということはなかったように思います。
記憶にあるパターンも使えなかったものがなかったように思うので、かなりよくできている印象を受けました。2-6なんかも稼ぎパターンで難所が抜けられたので。

少なくとも、普通にクリアするにあたっては問題はないと思います。
Steam版でプレイしてAC版をゲームセンターで見かけた時にプレイしても違和感なく通用する……はず。
それよりも筐体のモニターの大きさや慣れない環境での違いの方を心配をした方がいい。

・入力遅延を感じる人はLaunch Configuration ToolからVSyncをOFFにしてみましょう。
　多少画面がチラつくことになりますが(私の環境ではほぼチラつかない)、入力遅延とどちらがマシかを判断してプレイしてみてください。
・Launch Configuration Toolからキーボード操作で使うキーの設定が可能。同時入力制限で斜め移動ができなくなる場合は、他のキーを割り当てましょう。
・ゲーム設定からコンティニュー回数の設定が可能。0～99、無制限まで。デフォルトが2しかないので、[b]まず最初に99にでも変えておきましょう[/b]。
・ゲーム難易度が選べるので苦手な人でも楽しく遊べる、かも。ただでさえ1週目から難しいゲームなので。
・スコアの表示位置などがデフォルトではAC版と違いますが、設定によりAC版と同じにすることができます。
・画面フィルターでニアレストネイバー？やブラウン管風？などにすることができる。
・リプレイ機能はなし。ゲーム自体は動作が軽い印象なので自分で録画するといいと思います。
・スコアランキングはあるが、全機体ごちゃまぜ。機体別集計はなし。
・効果音が違う。作り直してるのを使っているようですが、少し浮いてるかも。
・トレモ機能はないので、通しプレイしかできない。コンティニューするとステージ最初からの戻り復活だからそれで練習する(ただしパワー・ランクは最低になる)。

・2周クリアを目指すか迷っている人は2周目6面とそのボスのノーミスノーボムプレイ動画を探して見てみる。
　このステージにこのゲームの全てが詰まっているので、これに魅力を感じた人は挑戦してみるといいと思います。
