It's an old port of a mobile game released over a decade ago. A unique cross between Doorkickers and XCOM. The game shows its age, though. You can't rebind the keyboard controls. The game can get very repetitive since there's only a few settings. The difficulty is basically just a slider for enemy count/HP. However, if you come into the game with these things in mind, I think it's still a fun game. A lot of my enjoyment is trying to build up various teams and experimenting with different team compositions. Overall I think it's a fun game on sale as a 99 cent game, but not at its full price of $10.

Melzinho na chupeta. Esse jogo nasceu nos celulares, então meu PC "Frankenstein" roda ele sem nem precisar ligar o ventilador extra do lado do gabinete. É um jogo curto, honesto e que não exige que eu tenha os reflexos de um adolescente de 14 anos movido a energético. Se você gosta de tática pura sem o estresse de um jogo de tiro frenético, esse aqui é um achado.

My review for this game is super overdue. I won’t lie, I really think this is one of the best turn-based strategy games that is SWAT themed. It allows you to pick your own special forces team and then customize their perks (that give different and helpful bonuses) and equip them with your choice of weaponry (from shotguns to sniper rifles), and the weapons themselves can be customized (scopes, grips, even trigger groups). There are also different game modes, like bomb defusal and one where you have to escape an onslaught of bad guys.

I find the game really fun and easy to dump hours into. I think seeing how far you can push a team of guys until they are super OP, fully leveled up & geared up is great fun. I say for 10 bucks, it’s worth a shot if you are into these kinds of video games.

Пассивный, монотонный и тягучий геймплей. Door Kickers как-будто выглядит лучше, причём на порядок.

Хотя конечно плюсы есть. Это более серьезная игра и есть лицензированные, стрелковые оружия. Реальные боевые отряды. Другое дело, что реализовано все слабовато, не прям плохо, но слабовато.

Рекомендовать игру не могу, миссий очень много и всё разительно НЕ отличаются, речь о наполнении в большей степени. Многое зависит от изначальной позиции ваших бойцов.

Buraya kadar güzel ama sorun şu ki Her mod için ayrı harita yok. Bütün haritaları 3 mod için tasarlamışlar. Yani Örneğin Almanya haritasında 1. tipi oynadığında bitirdiğinde 2. modu da oynamak istediğinde aynı haritadan oynuyorsun.
Bu da haritaların bazı yönlerden çok boş bazı yönlerden ise çok eksik kaldığı ve gereksiz yere zorlaştırdığı kısımlar oluyo ki. 6. haritaya kadar 3. modu da bitirdim ama daha sonra o kadar gereksiz zorlamaya başladı ve sıktı ki(Çünkü harita 2. moda uygun değildi.) devam edemedim.
He eğlenceli mi bence eğlenceli ama bence her mod için ayrı haritalar yapsalarmış çooook daha severdim.

If you're looking for a review on this game you've come to the wrong place, but if you're looking for an outstanding pie recipe you've come to the right place.

Ingredients:

1. 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
2. 1/2 cup white sugar
3. 1/2 cup brown sugar
4. 1/4 cup water
5. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
6. 1 pinch salt
7. 5 apples - peeled, cored and sliced
8. 1 pastry for double-crust pie

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
2. Combine butter, white sugar, brown sugar, water, cinnamon, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and set aside.
3. Roll out half the pastry to fit a 9-inch pie plate. Place bottom crust in pie plate; pour in apple slices.
4. Roll out top crust into a 10-inch circle. Cut into 8 (1-inch) wide strips with a sharp paring knife or pastry wheel. Weave the pastry strips, one at a time, into a lattice pattern. Fold the ends of the lattice strips under the edge of the bottom crust and crimp to seal.
5. Pour butter-sugar mixture over top of pie, coating the lattice, and allowing any remaining sauce to drizzle through the crust.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and bake until the crust is golden brown, the caramel on the top crust is set, and the apple filling is bubbling, 35 to 40 more minutes. Allow to cool completely before slicing.

I couldn't really recommend it. Probably decent as a mobile game, but for PC there are too many alternatives that play far better and aren't as lacking in features. It has an ok start but you hit a wall of grind pretty quickly ~2hrs. If you're still sold on it, grab it on sale. Otherwise, I would recommend something like Chimera Squad, Tactical Breach Wizards, or Arma Tactics instead.

Насправді вже дуже давно грав у цю гру, тільки на телефоні.

Задротив я в неї прям добряче, вона відкрила мені світ спецпідрозділів, спорядження, тактики та ближнього бою.

І як же я був здивований, як виявив, що вона є в Steam.
Графіка залишилась такою ж як і раніше (дещо бідненька на деталі, але в загалом приємна, і підходяща).
Музика - повторюється, потім вимикаю, бо не цікаво її слухати.
По предметам та магазинам - все відкривається, як ви стаєте кращі та сильніші.
Ігровий процес - ідеально. 3 режими від звичайної зачистки, до евакуації від засідки та знешкодження бомби.

Загалом, рекомендую, гра реально примушує думати. Противники не дурні, намагаються обходити з різних сторін. Хоча часом боти туплять.

Mauvais jeu. Honnêtement, si c'était quelque chose de gratuit que je trouvais en 2015, j'aurais eu d'autres opinions, mais n'achetez pas ceci en 2025. Les graphiques ne sont pas cool, il n'y a pas d'histoire, le gameplay est très répétitif, l'interface est franchement bof... Il y a tellement d'autres jeux de meilleur qualité que c'est véritablement gaspiller son temps.

Overall I think it is a decent strategy for those who like games based on playing in turns. Yes graphic of the game is questionable, physics and selections could be strange for today standards with somehow repetitive patters together with a messy marketplace but once you get logic of how the things are working it could become quite fun. You can equip each solder with weapon of choice buy additional equipment and grow their experience through the levels. As someone already mentioned, game have feeling like being unfinished which I totally agree but still it is playable. Recommend if you get it on discount and play it occasionally.

The presentation is just bad,
I cant stand to even look at this ugly poor manipulatet character portraits. Are you serious about this was meant for release? I have this game for years now and got ZERO motivation just because of that. Always thought it would be "placeholders" or dummys intended to change soon.
I am nobody who requires some astounding graphics, even run simplest games but it doesnt need to be ugly as, amateur like, untalented. (To be clear, I am not talking about the persons original faces but the poor modified images with beards and glasses)

Except for the Faces with beards made by 2 year old left handed blind apes.

I'm super surprised this game isn't more famous. I started playing it on mobile, but it wasn't supported after a while and found it here again. It's a turn based shooter that let's you plan out how you will best take out terrorists as you clear compounds. You can train various strengths on your team and name each of the players. Very fun, but seriously, it's more of a mobile game than PC...

This game has no right being as good as it is. It is a man game. It is pure therapy. When you set up the plan just right and clear almost the whole building in 1 round getting the achievement for over 6 kills? God, the feels good. This game makes me wish there were more round-planner games like this, instead of turn-based. It's so much more satisfying to see everything happen at the same time.

Remember how a lot of early 2000s military shooters utilized money for progression? This game does that too! It's rather nostalgic, you earn money with each mission and then you spend it on gear to equip your whole squad - new guns, attachments, armor/camo/helmets, breaching tools, even UAV (if you can afford it). I love it. It also adds stats with leveling to each squad member (accuracy, speed, evasion, health, reaction etc.), which make the perma-death mode so much more interesting, definitely recommend trying that.

Breach and Clear это стратегический симулятор работы спецназа от студии Mighty Rabbit Studios, который они разработали для медиа холдинга Gun. Breach and Clear требует тактически верно зачистить помещение с противниками, расположение которых неизвестно, да ещё и с наименьшими потерями, что в итоге становится задачей более логической, чем стратегической, но от того не менее интересной.
Отряд состоит из четырёх оперативников, специальность которым мы выбираем при создании отряда. На выбор доступны шесть специализаций, каждый со своими способностями, улучшающимися по мере прокачки оперативника. В игре есть выбор из большого количества реальных отрядов специального назначения, различающихся характеристиками – у одних лучше точность, у других скорость реакции, у третьих что-то ещё. Каждого бойца отряда можно отдельно снаряжать оружием, защитой и обвесами для оружия.

It's like a top down Rainbow Six. I think it does the breaching pretty well. I wish there'd been a bit more personality(as in any) for our team members, but alas... I think I'd of liked it more in that case, because I typically just ran into areas with the attempt of killing the terrorists with the idea that at least 1 person left standing was a win.

Fun casually, gets boring after about 2 to 4 hours. Tactical decisions are brain dead, and you might as well just get door kickers 1/2. If you're poor like me, this is a poor mans version, just get this on a steep discount, otherwise not worth playing.

Crazy good fun intially. Learning to set up your squad and kitting them up with weapons/equipment is satisfying when you figure out how much easier it can make the levels, especially once you get through to more difficult theatre's and start playing on the harder difficulties.
At first there isn't much need to use equipment and abilities etc. but once you start fighting more stubborn enemies they become neccesity. Things do start to get a bit repetitive by hour 20 or so, and things like achievements do begin to become a bit of a grind.
The Frozen Synapse DLC can break things up a bit and that is a throwback of it's own.
10 years old already but I feel the price is still pretty fair.

Kurzweilig, genau wie Door Kickers. Vom ersten Eindruck dachte ich, dass Door Kickers etwas besser ist, aber nach 5 Stunden kann ich das nicht mehr so sagen. Breach & Clear hat ganz klar auch seine Vorteile und gefällt mir vielleicht sogar ein klein wenig besser. - Da beide Spiele im Sale sehr günstig sind, kann man beide mal probieren.

Not horrible but certainly not worth full price.

I had to reload the first mission twice because the animations froze with me getting shot endlessly while not losing health.

Also, the first achievement in the game pops upon startup even though I don't think I'd earned it.

The game plays more like a turn-based action game than anything to do with tactics/strategy but oh well.

If this is up your alley, wait for a sale and probably worth a pickup with some caution.

I have good news for you.

Not only will the Linux version of the game not unlock achievements, but it won't load DLC either!
If it's a steam deck you'll have to emulate the Windows version with proton to get the achievements and load the DLC!

Особо про нее говорить нечего, обычный представитель своего жанра. Есть прокачка отряда (солдаты, оружие, экипировка и тд), разные локации, способы проникновения, уровни сложности (в зависимости от них, появляется различное количество врагов, их живучесть, урон).

This is an interesting piece for media scholars, if their claim that it's used as an actual training simulator is true (Wikipedia says nothing on the subject). Maybe the claim itself has a certain interest. As a game itself, it gets tedious quickly. I've done the first few missions, obediently stacking up troops and kicking in doors. My folks usually get wounded - important for a training simulator, but carrying no real in-game consequence apart from your mission rating. I think if this game came out twenty years ago it would have been more interesting, but I think we've hit a saturation point in our culture where my just describing "stacking up and breaching" is enough for you to understand the gameplay. While I haven't played a lot of the content, the pattern establishes itself fairly quickly and doesn't inspire enough interest for me to continue.

Final verdict, if you can get it on a steeeeeeep discount, it's worth a few hours of tinkering after which you will say "Well that's kind of neat" and forget you bought it.

Довольно хорошая полу пошаговая стратегия, управление только перемещением, направлением взгляда и гаджетами, бойцы стреляют сами.
Карты интересны, почти у каждой карты свой подход.
Классы бойцов половина норм, половина либо бесполезна, либо тупо забываешь об их перках.
Балланс вооружения так себе, есть пара тройка ультимативных, и все автоматы, а последняя так вообще лютая имба.

I've played very little of this game, but I will say from what I have played, I like it. It plays like a tactical shooter but is instead an RTS game. Reminds me of the planning phase of the original Rainbow Six and Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear. Very fun, easy to lose track of time while playing.

My only complaint is that the suppressor makes you lose an insane amount of accuracy and in almost every other game on earth they increase accuracy.

Got the game yesterday and I'm addicted. I came into the game with somewhat low standards, as I'm not usually in to these types of games. But was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy it. The only two things I didn't like was the music is only one song for each world and can get quite repetitive, and that the game is too short! thankfully there are three modes ( terrorist hunt, bomb disposal, and escape) which give you extra time to play around. Overall I highly recommend this game to someone into this genre Definitely going to try and get 4 stars on all levels.

I got this on sale right after seeing My Life in Gaming's video about Limited Run games and Mighty Rabbit. They only mentioned this game without showing any gameplay.

I prefer this visual style over Frozen Synapse but Breach & Clear still lacks the polish and features of a game like Door Kickers.
