Seems like an interesting exploration/puzzle game, but there's a section called Herschel Crater about 5 hours in (I play slow, to explore and find all the hidden secrets) where there's either:

1) Buggy code
or
2) An Impossible Jumping/Climbing puzzle

That people on the net have gotten through by either uninstalling and reinstalling the game and starting over, or got through it once and couldn't get through it again, so probably buggy code?

Anyway, life's too short to play games I'm stuck on, so I gave up and applied for a refund. No, you can't have a refund if you've played more than two hours.

So yeah, it was only $8, but maybe someone else can learn from my mistake, there are much better games out there!

Deliver us Mars legt einen stärkeren Fokus auf Charaktere als der Vorgänger Deliver us the Moon.
Während man im ersten Teil größtenteils alleine unterwegs war, ist man hier meistens in Begleitung.
Das Writing ist OK, aber das Design und die Animationen sehen irgendwie seltsam aus.
Es gibt einige Flashbacks in die Kindheit der Protagonistin.

Das Spiel legt den Fokus auf andere Gameplay Mechaniken als der Vorgänger.

Es gibt eine Technologie, wo Strom durch Licht übertragen wird und es geht darum mit Strahlern und beweglichen Reflektoeren einen Punkt mit dem anderen zu verbinden, um irgendwas mit Strom zu versorgen.

Ansonsten gibt es mehr Platforming als im ersten Teil und exzessiven Einsatz von Kletter-Passagen.

Es gibt zu dem holographische Flashback, die man auslösen kann, in dem man sich so bewegt, dass drei Puzzle Teile zusammen gefügt werden.

Das Gameplay ist manchmal ein bisschen glitchy, was vor allem die Strom-Puzzles betrifft.

Das Spiel läuft auf meinem PC obwohl ich V-Sync eingeschaltet habe, mit mehr FPS als mein Monitor darstellen kann.
Das ist allerdings ein Problem, dass ich auch mit einigen anderen Unreal Engine Spielen habe.

The first game is a proof of concept. This one is a fully-featured adventure. If you like sci-fi - you absolutely should play this one.

I played Deliver Us the Moon and kinda liked it: although gameplay was lacking and the storytelling was simplistic it had a nice feeling to it. So I jumped into this one right away. I wasn't really expecting much - I thought it would just be more of the same.

But I was so wrong. The sequel is MILES ahead.

First: the game is beautiful. The faces are janky, but everything else looks sooo good even on medium settings, and it ran OK on my weak PC.
I haven't played that much games depicting Mars, but I'll say it nonetheless - it portrays the planet as I've never seen it before. What I've imagined before as a boring rock here looks damn majestic.

Second: the gameplay is really nice. Now you have to do laracrofting throughout the game with those icepicks - it's more methodical and slow than in Tomb Raider, but it creates very intense moments. Climbing and platforming sections are also well paced - there wasn't a moment when I got bored.
Puzzles now aren't braindead and require some thinking (one I actually didn't manage to solve on my own).

And third: the storytelling. I'm no expert, but I think it's really, REALLY good. The game features a lot of cinematic cutscenes that are very-well shot, and you have a bunch of living human characters, rather than one autistic astronaut and holograms in the first game. Holograms and environmental storytellings is also much better now.
The story this time has really captured me as well. Maybe I wasn't really into family drama at first, but all people involved in the story act like a human beings stuck to the corner. Irrational, with their pains and grudges that ruin everything in the end - that's the main theme of the story basically. I liked that a lot. And there's no real happy end either: all of the main characters left Mars as monsters that they chased to punish.

Deliver Us the Moon was a bit of a slog and I needed three sessions to get through that 5 hour game. This 8 hour game I completed in one go. Such a good one.

Hair is weird, characters are all ugly as hell, awful direction taking this from cool space exploration to family issues and unnecessary drama with boring flashbacks, let us explore space, not taking us with boring flashbacks, I DON'T CARE. Silent protagonist was much better than father-daughter issues, I DON'T CARE, no this is not wow cool story, awful story actually.

Climbing mechanic is ♥♥♥♥!!!! HUGE downgrade from Deliver us the Moon, even the graphics looked better in previous game, newer games by default should look better, not worse. Stick to holograms if you're this bad at making appealing characters, put everyone in a helmet if you will make their hair this awful.

I rarely give negative reviews, but this game deserves it.

Мне больше 1 часть зашла. Ходить по некогда людной Луне, чувство одиночества и ответственность перед всей Земли.. Во второй части добавили сюжет, это круто осознавать, что действия в той же первой части имеют последствия и мы можем лицезреть их. Почти за час игры становиться как-то скучно, нпс с эффектом зловещей долины которые чувствуются не как люди, нету сопереживание к кому-то, анимации ломаются; моя личная придирка, то что главный персонаж женщина причем не привлекательная как и её сестра Клэр. Надеюсь, что при дальнейшем прохождении, моё мнение поменяется и я не потерял деньги зря.

a beautiful game. not perfect, but still has a great storyline, gorgeous graphics, and immersive gameplay. even if i wish we had more choices in the game and i got frustrated a few times during puzzles and character dialogue, i still think this is one of my favorite games. it's so good i had to purchase it twice. it's worth the price and i can't wait for the next game to come out. if you love space and puzzles you need to play!

화성에서 아빠 찾아 퍼즐 게임.
이거 썩 유쾌한 게임은 아닙니다.
일단 퍼즐이 들어가 있긴 한데 분량이 많은 건 아니라
퍼즐 요소가 포함된 워킹 시뮬레이터로 보는 게 맞습니다.

그래픽은 배경이 좋은 데 캐릭터 모델링과 모션이 구려서
이질감이 드는 걸 넘어 가끔 징그러워 보이기도 합니다.
그래도 이정표가 없음에도 대충 가야할 것 같은 곳으로 향하면
거기가 길이 맞는 수준으로 디자인은 직관적으로 잘 했습니다.

최적화는 당연히 망했습니다.
좋은 그래픽이 결국 화근이 되었네요.
조금만 넓은 구역 나오면 조금씩 프레임 드랍이 생깁니다.
그런데 이 게임 대부분이 야외에서 활동합니다.
즉, 거의 매 순간 프레임 드랍이 생겨요. 거슬립니다.

퍼즐 난이도는 적절하지만 게임의 대부분이
암벽 등반과 이동 및 운전으로 구성되어 있습니다.
특히 암벽 등반은 바보 같은 모션과 느려터진 속도에 더러운 판정까지
삼위일체를 보여주며 이 게임의 암적인 존재로 기능합니다.

스토리는 꽤 흥미진진하지만 등장하는 캐릭터 중
그 누구도 호감이 가지 않습니다. 심지어 주인공까지도요.
엔딩에 가까워질 때쯤 그냥 모두 사고로 죽었으면 좋겠다는 생각마저 듭니다.
그리고 모션이 워낙 구리니 감정적으로 몰입해야 할 부분에서 오히려 몰입을 방해하네요.

마지막으로 고생은 고생대로 하지만 기분은 더러운 게임입니다.
이 게임은 처음 시작한 이후로 주인공, 즉 플레이어 빼고는 그 누구도 일하지 않거든요?
당신만 게임 내내 개고생 하고 있는데 다른 NPC들은 감사는 못할 망정 갈구기만 열심히 갈굽니다.
뭔 사정이 있는 것 같긴 한데 자세히 모르니까 "어쩌라고" 생각 밖에 안 듭니다.

수많은 똥같은 점이 있지만 그렇다고 재미가 없는 게임은 아니라 추천 올립니다.

Tis game is an absolute PIECE OF GARBAGE!

The plot is absolutely packed with plot holes, nonsense, over-stretching the belivability and outright forgetting crucial plot points.

Almost everyone in the game is unlikeable and insufferable especially Issac and Kathy (protagonist) with only exception being Ryan. Everyone has constant moodswings and just does things out of blue.

The charm of the previous game is also ruined via adding faces to characters and nonstop talking.
The laser is also much worse to use than in previous game.

In conclusion - absolutely awful downgrade of Deliver Us the Moon in all ways: plot, gameplay, atmosphere - NOT RECOMENDING

SPOILER ALERT

Kathy is awful character that is impossible to like - she constantly hides information, acts on her own like idiot, is actively disrupting the mission and doesn't think about anything regarding their mission until she stands before Issac.
The game also tries to make her a person that ultimetly made correct choice and is morally superior when she led to slow death of innocent Colonist on Mars.

I am sooo happy at the ending implication that everyone is dead after having to experiance that sad excuse of story

I absolutely loved this game! A few reviewers were a bit too hard on this game in my opinion. This game has an amazing plot which is integrated well with gameplay. It reminds me a lot of Tomb Raider, except without weapons. A lot of effort went into graphic design, though the game is not very well optimised. Some reviewers found the climbing part frustrating, but I found it challenging and realistic. Reviewers also commented that they sometimes don't know where to go, but that's just ignorance on their side (press "T").

Good:
* Graphics and gameplay improved from the previous game.
* nice puzzles
* good atmosphere in environments
* solid voice acting
* collectibles

Not so good:
* the faces (and in particular the eyes) suffer from a sever case of Uncanny Valley, so much so that it breaks immersion in a number of scenes.
* The first time you actually have to really use your pick axes is the only truely bugged wall in the game. So much so that I recommend back tracking a little and sliding down the slope instead. If you look for small ledges to aim for, you can make it down that way too. The rest of the climbing walls in the game are good.
* some of the achievements are litterally "wait X minutes while standing here"
* The story is not as strong as the previous game, and does occasionally head in strange directions.
* the game is rather short. 11 hours is including repeating various chapters to get all collectibles.
* not my favorite set of characters.

Conclusion:
Would recommend buying it, but wait for a sale as this game does not live up to the expectations of its full price.

What ya be doing:
Gameplay primarily focuses on puzzle-solving and platforming, which only cross into “acceptable” territory. They give el okey obstacles which means that not annoyance. As in the first game, players switch between controlling Kathy and her robotic drone companion to solve environmental tasks, often revolving around aligning power-giving light beams to open doors. Platforming is sorta bigger on this because Kathy can move around certain walls using climbing axes. It's lil tricky to handle, but then again not after get the hang of it. Also there's work to be done in space which is well done.

The Rest:
Narrative storyline is engaging and mostly bueno so no minus points for it. Or well maybe close to end where i was against weird decisions. Deliver Us Mars has moments of visual spectacle when camera view, texture work & lighting all line up perfectly. Sure, there's bad ones too. This ends sort of into cliffhanger & yea if i recall el correctly, there's a plan for sequel. I didn't set foot into previous adventure so no comparisons. My high school rating is:

Game....is this a game? not really. It's a novel with some interactive puzzles. Which is not to say it's bad...it's a well enough told novel, but the "game play" only just barely fails to avoid getting in the way.
The laser puzzles only barely rise above "do the only thing you can do". The climbing sections are barely a skill check, and the decryption puzzles are just a chore. That said, they're all 3 very well executed, controls are well executed, nothing is unclear. But they don't add anything...good thing is, they're aren't that many of them. JUST enough to slow down the story...

This would make a pretty decent indie movie. There's some interesting scifi thought provoking concepts and situations. It asks questions worth asking, and doesn't heavy hand you an answer.

Thumbs up for the novel.
Thumbs down for the game, but since it's not a game, that doesn't matter much.

The story is okay, but not good enough to overcome the lackluster gameplay. The cutscenes are pretty slow and there's not a lot of mystery to the story. The people look real rough and the animations are bad, though the voice acting is good. All of the actual gameplay elements are mediocre: the traversal doesn't feel good, the wall climbing is buggy,, the decoding and laser puzzles are tedious, and the launching minigame is just kind of there. There's a strength in the vistas and a cool factor for the space travel, but the overall game isn't worth it.

Why is there no choice??? Earth is already doomed and the mars colony is thriving, all the people who was brought up there are talented and smart. In the ending, our main character be like , ♥♥♥♥ it, let all the people on Mars DIE, coz i want to save earth. I hate Sarah, i don't care if Issac is selfish, HE is the one who design all of this.

If you are space lover this is game for you, but i don't know if it's appealing to others.

Good: Story is pretty good, characters too. You will see nature of humanity and why what happened in the game happened. Cinematic feel of the game is pretty cool, combined with music sometimes you feel like watching movie. Climbing mechanic is pretty good and interesting, BUT...

Bad: ... first real section of climbing is impossibly bad. There are climbing textures in game that indicates where you can climb and where not, but in this section they aren't applied, so whole area looks climbable, while in fact it isn't. I don't know how this passed testing, but i lost like 45 minutes in this what was supposed to be 5 minutes climb until i found road through this. If you don't count this, there isn't anything else that i would call bad, maybe animations and character design to some extent.

Score: 7/10 - Pretty good exploration game set in space, while not necessarily improvement upon Deliver Us the Moon, game is pretty good and as i said, warm recommendation for space lovers.

Wow, first amazing story and many twists and turns. Very touching and many pulling of the heart strings moments. The gameplay was well done although I did have issues with climbing in several spots which did get a bit frustrating but I pushed through. There isn't combat which is fine, every game doesn't have to be a shootout fest. The action and story really push the game forward and make it really enjoyable. I can't wait for the next game to be released! Really looking forward to see where it goes. If you're looking for a good weekend game with a blockbuster movie worth story then check out this series. I could definity see a studio wanting to turn this into a movie!
There was one odd issue that happened when I first started the game. My oculus app kept starting. I'd imagine its making a call to a file that the oculus uses? Setting the app to manual vs automatic fixed the issue although I wouldn't mind playing a vr version of the game.

地球の環境悪化が進み、人間が住める期間はあと数十年と予想されるなか、最後の希望を託された主人公キャシーら4名が火星へと飛び立つ。かねてより火星では次の人類の移住先としてテラフォーミングが進められており、その技術とエネルギーを持ち帰るのが今回の使命だ。だが、ようやく降り立った先には人影は一切なく、不穏な静寂だけが広がっていた。一体ここで何が起こったのだろうか。。。

火星を舞台に、人類の未来を背負った過酷なミッションを描く三人称のアクションアドベンチャーゲーム。アクション要素はあるものの、敵との戦闘はなくジャンプや壁登りがメインなので、アクションが苦手な人でもリラックスして物語に集中できる作りになっている。

ゲームの主軸は、火星での探索と、その地で起きた「ある事件」を究明していくことにフォーカスされる。ネタバレになるためあまり多くは語れないが、チームとの絆あり、家族の絆あり、火星という極限の地だからこそ起きるトラブルありと、（陳腐な言い方だが）まるで映画のような濃密なストーリーが売りとなっている。ただ、少し気になったのは登場人物たちの性格だろうか。短気ですぐに怒り散らすクルーと、無意識に他人をイライラさせる能力を持った主人公の振る舞いに没入感が削がれてしまう場面も。日本人特有の「秘める美徳」が影響しているのかもしれないが、「よくこの性格で宇宙飛行士になれたな」と冷めてしまうこともしばしばあった。

クリアまで7時間ほど。間違いなくストーリーは面白い。序盤は説明不足でやや理解しづらい部分もあるが、チャプターが進むにつれて徐々に補完されていくので、そこまでは少し我慢が必要になる。私は前作「Deliver Us The Moon」をプレイしていないので、もしかしたらそれが影響しているのかもしれないが、本作単品でも十分楽しめる内容だった。ストーリーの理解を助けるローカライズは、完璧な日本語訳に日本語音声まで用意される素晴らしさで、アドベンチャーゲーム好きにとっては十分プレイするに値する秀作と言っていい。

最後に、プレイしていて少し感じたことを。
[spoiler]どれほど立派な思想でも、実現までのプロセスがお粗末であれば反対勢力との激しい対立を生んでしまう。それは往々にして「思想の対立」に陥りがちで、結果として誰も幸せにならない方向へ進んでしまうことも少なくない。この場合、本来批判すべきは思想そのものではなく「プロセス」なのだが、こうした食い違いは現実の政治や仕事の場でもよく見かける。不満を感じたときに、本当の問題はどこにあるのか？自分が受け入れられないのはどの部分なのか？自分自身も物事を建設的に考えていきたいと感じさせられた。[/spoiler]

好坏参半的游戏，好在叙事较好、三观端正，场景丰富、体验感较好；坏在人物建模粗劣、动作僵硬，技术力欠缺、优化一般。女主的表演其实蛮不错的，但被糟糕人物建模给毁了。剧情最后那一跳有点小感动，整个游戏的立意都拉高了许多，属于满满的正能量，难得看到西方游戏在家庭和集体利益之间的探讨中偏向了集体一方。另一方面，游戏中父亲说得没错，地球人类真的药丸，前提是如果让西方某些资本力量继续完全主导这个世界的话。那么要是游戏中加入某东方神秘大国试试？从国家层面强大的组织调度能力、善于摸着别人理念过河的学习精神和较好的自我纠错特性，再到人民层面提倡的集体荣誉感、刻在骨子里面上万年的种菜基因、勤奋务实又自信的文化背景，以及人类独一档的文明生存韧性，不单火星殖民绝对成功，地球也根本完不了蛋，你这游戏故事干脆就写不下去。

Insanely good storytelling, with subtext, things left for the player to interpret, themes, and character exploration. Great spectacle with tons of breathtaking sequences and set-pieces. Whilst Deliver Us The Moon had a lot more atmosphere, having to explore a mysteriously-empty moon base, Deliver Us Mars sacrifices that in exchange for deeper characters and a deeper narrative that definitely pays off.

I'm going to need a few weeks to truly digest the story. Can't wait for Deliver Us Home.

just like the first game, the rocket launch at the start is the single best moment.

great continuation over the first game.

i don't care much for how their only real selling point is how good it looks on rtx, i'd rather have seen better models and animations for the npcs. they are serviceable but not great.

puzzles are still incredibly simple, i wish there were more or some more difficult areas.

the climbing could be incredibly inconsistent and infuriating at times.

eyes rolled every time i got an out of bounds warning while exploring.

What a waste of my time. Deliver Us Mars is just good enough to keep me playing through to the end, but just bad enough to make me regret the time I spent playing it. Here's why:

The story is "Daddy Issues: The Video Game". Protagonist Kathie has one defining characteristic - her father, [strike]Astarion[/strike] Isaac. That's where her personality begins and ends, that's all she ever talks about, that's all the story revolves around. I sincerely hope you like their relationship, because there's a whole lot of nothing else to the narrative besides that. We have themes of ecological collapse and industrialisation, societal collapse and inequality, the exploration and colonisation of extra-terrestrial worlds... but everything always boils down to "but dad".

Gameplay-wise, this is a step removed from a walking simulator. It has gameplay mechanics in the strictest sense, but they boil down to exactly one puzzle type repeated roughly half a dozen times and really slow, clunky climbing sheer walls. Well, and I guess first-person "cutting things" simulators. Truth be told, the bit of gameplay I enjoyed the most was the two instances of launching a rocket into space, following procedures and manipulating controls, almost like a linear scripted Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. What's there isn't BAD, but it's not particularly good, either.

Visually the game is just... bad. I'm usually not a snob for graphics. Who cares if this 2023 game looks like a 2013 title. I just replayed Half-Life 2 the other day. But the characters' faces are just creepy. Young Kathie is supposed to be, like, 8? 10? But she looks like someone grafted an adult woman's giant head on a shrunken child-like body. I get the feeling they grabbed faces from real people via some kind of photogrammetry, but the result realistic faces rendered in low-poly, low-res models and barely animated. As a result, everyone just ends up having plastic doll head.

Graphics look dated, locations bland with only a few exceptions, characters are creepy and the animations are so bad. Kathie jumps like she's made of rubber, transitions into mantling animations with a very obvious snap, doesn't have animations for pushing buttons or moving levers, or getting in and out of the game's single vehicle. You just black-screen-transition in and out, like you fell out of bounds in Warframe. And every so often, interactions just don't work. Go to climb a ladder, get stuck in place for five seconds. Try again. Jump at a ledge, slide off. Go for an interaction, have to stand in a very specific spot.

I don't necessarily want to give Deliver Us Mars a negative review. I've played games with more jank and weaker graphics. But the game's story really pushed me over the edge, because it's such a tremendous waste of time. Very little of substance happens, and what does happens is poorly written. That, and we end on a very unsatisfying finale that's also a cliffhanger. No, thank you.

A capable sequel to Deliver Us the Moon. Beautiful graphics and very surprised they managed to make an engaging story line where each and every character is very annoying. I sort of sympathized with Isaac wanting to leave so many people behind.
Climbing mechanic has too many bugs - also seemed completely wedged in especially in ship interiors. The climbable surface in ships was like yellow paint everywhere. Also giving a pair of ice axes for a Mars expedition in preference to say rope or even just climbing with hands is inexplicable. See Jusant for climbing done well.
Giving this a mostly recommend because the graphics are really nice, the story is good, drawing you on and the power beam puzzles are pitched just right.

Deus ex mankind Divided was half a game. When you finish the story it is obvious that there is still a chunk missing.

Deliver us Mars is also half a game. It's story is finished and contained. However everything else is not.
To put it short: Deliver us Mars Plays, Looks and Performs like a Demo of the actual game we might get some day.

- The animations look stiff and unfinished, characters switching to idle position that look more like "A-Posing with some jitter" that is the same for everyone.
- Performance is questionable at best, which is perplexing because the game also looks worse than deliver us the Moon which peformed just fine.
- Vehicles feel uncomfortably snappy, which makes them a pain to drive.
- Dials and Redouts that used to be in game elements on screens are now just billboard labels that update magically on their own.
- Facial meshes are abhorrent. This one is the most baffling, they dont look bad, they look horrifying. In a game that is about said characters having emotional moments... looking at an unfinished monster face plastered onto a generic body is just... yeah.
- Gameplay has degraded in every way too. The laser is still here but it has somehow become slower than before, so anyone that playes the games back to back will get a bit of whiplash having to cut things again because the mechanic now works slightly different. However that is fine, what I cannot forgive is the climbing sections. Just like most things in the game, climbing feels unfinished.
If you do for some reason play this game, everytime you die at a climbing section, every time you get frustrated or dont know why something doesnt work try opening reddit and search for who else got frustrated at that section. It will help you to get through this because you know that other people smashed their controllers or quit playing because of this.

All in all...., I dont know... what this is supposed to be. It is by all intents and purposes and unfinished game.

Deliver us the Moon was exceptional, Deliver us Mars has the effective energy of someone trying to get some money by half assing a sequel.

And that sucks.

I'd rate this game a 4 or 5 out of 10. The concept is interesting and the story has some interesting points but it's mostly poorly executed and lacking in depth. There are just too many plot holes and things that don't make any sense for me to really get invested in the story or care about the characters. The gameplay is also terribly dull with tedious climbing mechanics, simplistic puzzles, and overall very lackluster level design. The visuals are the standout feature of this game but the animations are janky and and the platforming can be very frustrating at times.

If you can ignore characters (especially NPCs) lookig quite bad, it is a OK continuation from Deliver Us The Moon.

Quite honestly, i think i had too high expectations for this game after playing Deliver Us The Moon and seeing a continuation available.
Though i still think for the most part this is still a OK to GOOD game (about 7/10).

Though i have some issues with it:

[*] Characters, look weird / like a old game
[*] This is especially more true for NPCs which look like robots with their stiff, repeating movements
[*] When switching to DX12 mode, i first thought this mode was broken due to it more than halving my fps, even while still in the main menu; turns out switching to DX12 mode automatically enables all Raytracing features. After disabling those, it ran way better than DX11 + Upscaling
[*] Climbing is a great concept, but i feel like the execution is not so great. I am now able to use it properly, but at first i had quite the problem finding why it was not sticking and seemingly randomly being thrown-off
[*] Considering my hardware, it felt like some areas are unoptimized with how the fps tanked (dropping from a average 70 to 30 to 25) (though granted i ran on the DEFAULT EPIC settings) (ex. [spoiler]Drive through the City; Repairing Labos[/spoiler])
[*] Despite multiple and [url=https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/62075]old bug reports[/url], the issue with the first Comic not being listed as "viewed" the first time around is still present as of writing this review (though the achievement for "First Collectable" correctly worked the first time around)

Aside from the listed issues above, the environment looked great. From a mechanical perspective, aside from climbing, played great. The story though was good but seemingly too heavily focused on "Family Drama".

I am excited to see what the sequel "Deliver Us Home" will bring.

Sei un amante della fantascenza e dello spazio? Hai voglia di rilassarti? La trama mi è piaciuta moltissimo, le musiche sono molto curate. Le ambientazioni sono ben fatte, la regia è ottima e ancor di più il doppiaggio. Gameplay lento e semplice, enigmi abbastanza semplici ma ben congegnati. Spero che arrivi presto il terzo capitolo per finire la trilogia. Preso in sconto al prezzo di un caffè permette di passare qualche ora in relax. La profondità del viaggio e la trama sono il fulcro dell'esperienza, fatevi questo viaggio per favore.

Recomendado si le gustan los juegos inmersivos. Si ha pensando en comprar los juegos de Quantic Dreams este es un excelente abrebocas! La historia se cuenta de una manera sencilla pero con un significado profundo y el juego no es muy largo asi que se puede terminar con facilidad para los jugadores casuales como yo.

Ahora: El gamplay me gusta porque es intenso pero no tiene mayor curva de aprendizaje. Los pocos movimientos que hay se complementan bien con la historia! lo jugue con teclado y mouse sin problema. Durante el juego solo tuve un glitch y fue casi al final cuando se les volteo el cabello ajajaja hice reload del check point y se soluciono.

Un jeu agréable et différent de ce qu'on peut trouver habituellement. L'histoire est bien et en lien avec le premier opus (deliver us the moon), les graphismes et le level-design sont soignés et les scènes d'escalade apportent un petit plus. Le jeu est court (10h sans sprinter), mais il faut apprécier cela comme un diversement se rapprochant plus d'un film (on n'effectue d'ailleurs pas de choix influençant l'histoire). Petit regret pour les énigmes pas très complexes et un peu redondantes (MBT) et l'impossibilité de configurer la difficulté (ex : supprimer la surbrillance des zones à couper). Je le recommande malgré tout.

——凯西的火星版《爸爸去哪了》。

——接上部月球叛乱，克萨克被刺维修的莎拉，地球停电5年后派遣宇航员罗尔夫一人前往月球恢复地球供电的逻辑不通的剧情后。这次是上部剧情十年后火星执行任务，四名宇航员凯西、凯西的姐姐克莱尔、被凯西和克莱尔的父亲克萨克被刺差点死去的莎拉、莱恩（和莎拉有婚姻关系），去火星奉命寻找并带回之前月球基地‘麦克阿瑟’领导的outward叛变组织打造的三艘方舟和新研发的科技。（按照前作剧情叛军的人数，派遣4人小队，人数是不是哪里不太合理？）

——背景：主角凯西，姐姐克莱尔，母亲利兹（背景板），父亲克萨克，一家四口刚搬到新家。一次沙暴房屋崩毁、母亲离世，父亲将妹妹的监护人改成姐姐，丢下两个女儿喊着地球没救了前往月球。等父亲再次回地球是打官司要回了妹妹的监护权丢下姐姐带妹妹前往月球。

（时间线：上部剧情结束）凯西睁眼是被爸爸克萨克从月球殖民地冷冻仓唤醒，两人被追捕，明明听到没有鞋子的凯西说脚痛还是开门后独自跑向火箭任由女儿苦苦追赶摔倒最后一人称作火箭前往火星回归月球叛军。

（时间线：10年后）没有政审的世界，地球叛徒艾萨克的两个女儿都在WSA工作。

凯西长大了也是个不守规矩的，没权限的会议破坏基地也要偷偷窃听，收到‘球奸’克萨克的音讯也选择隐瞒不报。

一个拯救地球的计划，重要的成员之一凯西不听劝导，面对指挥官也不服从指令，满心只有找爸爸，太空站发现了叛军信息也不汇报，而且让随身机器球球删除记录。

火箭故障紧急乘坐逃生舱迫降火星，指挥官克莱尔仓促下线。

——火星的攀岩有点问题，疑似贴图bug，可以攀岩的地方不一定抓的住，但是中间手滑也有机会抓住不能攀岩的地方。（怀念劳拉...）

——莎拉因为紧急迫降导致当年被克萨克袭击留下的旧伤复发，找药休整时凯西还觉得当年克萨克一己私欲阻碍莎拉维修月球基地造成地球停电整整五年的出发点是好的。

凯西在执行任务中，继续违背长官命令，私自决定抛弃队友，开走方舟下唯一的探测车独自寻找叛军，并偷走队友从地球带来的唯一武器进行销毁。

在凯西做了这一系列神一般的操作之后，莎拉主动向凯西道歉（地铁老人手机.jpg），26/01/08

——有BUG，第七章野兽，跟随机器球球进入一个房间的时候，有概率把自己的机器球球也卡在剧情被锁的房间里。解决方法，加载之前的存档。

还有一个bug!之前解密的时候如果靠近发射能量的那个机器放下分流能量的那个机器能把凯西卡上天花板，然后下不来无限头撞天花板鬼畜闪烁，解决方法，召唤机器球球搬开分流机器...

——凯西：不听不听王八念经，再欺骗一下队友，继续找爸爸。

艾萨克：再次被刺最信任我的人。（杀麦克阿斯，深处控制台前但收回手放弃罗莎和outward和homeward的成员，成为幸存中间派的唯一话事人，掌控火星）

艾萨克：小月熊！只想小月熊！才不记得还有一个女儿叫克莱尔！

The story is genuinely good and kept me interested from start to finish, helped a lot by the immersive environments. Just like Deliver Us the Moon, the game does an amazing job of making you feel alone but still very connected to what’s happening around you. The puzzles are good, but the decryption of the holograms was a little bit annoying, at first didn't felt intuitive, but at the end of the game I managed to decrypt the holograms quite fast.

However, just like in the previous game, the music fits perfectly and really adds to the emotional moments without being over the top.

Overall, Deliver Us Mars feels like a natural step forward from Deliver Us the Moon. If you enjoy story-driven, relaxing sci-fi games with good puzzles and atmosphere, this one is absolutely worth playing.

Interesante si jugaste el anterior y quieres ver como continúa la historia. Se nota que cuenta con más presupuesto en algunas animaciones mejoradas y en que cuenta con un montón de cinemáticas durante todo el juego, aun así también se nota que le falta un poco de pulido tanto en esas cinemáticas como en el gameplay en general. La mecánica de usar los pellets para moverse por diferentes tipos de paredes (piedra, hielo, madera...) está bien pero a veces se hace algo pesada, sobretodo en la primeara sección en Marte, que está completamente rota (una vez consigas pasarte esa sección las demás no son difíciles).
El resumen es que no es muy largo, se juega fácil y es recomendable sobretodo si jugaste la primera parte y quieres ver como continúa la historia.

[h3]A Worthy Sequel to the Moon Saga[/h3]
I just finished [b]Deliver Us Mars[/b], and what a story it was! It serves as a really solid sequel to [b]Deliver Us The Moon[/b], tying in the events that happened on the moon perfectly. The narrative depth here really gets my hopes up for the third installment, [b]Deliver Us Home[/b].

[i]The Good[/i]
[b]Story:[/b] Incredible narrative that expands the lore significantly.
[b]Continuity:[/b] If you played the first game, you'll appreciate how well the events connect.

[i]The Bugs[/i] I did run into a few technical hiccups. There were some very minor bugs, such as a scene where my character's lips weren't moving while she was speaking, but nothing game-breaking.

However, there is a known bug where the [b]first collectible (the comic)[/b] does not register in your list even after you pick it up. If you are a completionist, here is the fix:

[quote]"After you go outside the house at the point where the father is yelling because of the teddy and before you jump into the lake you have to go back into your room and pick up the comic again. Then you can complete the prolog and it counts."[/quote]

Despite the minor technical issues, this is an overall great game with a compelling story. I highly recommend it!

Deliver Us Mars is an impressive experience. There are puzzles to solve instead of monsters to kill. The story is the main part of the game.
There should be more games like this. It might even help sombodies mental health.

Beaten - About 10 hours

A 3rd (and sometimes first) person cinematic puzzle/narrative-driven story about a small group trying to save a ruined Earth. I wont say too much about the story, but it is very well done. A absolute surprise.

Pros:
- Story. Story here is front and center. Characters, events, and the larger message. It is very well done.
- Voice acting. VERY, VERY good. Especially in the most crucial moments. Honestly better than most larger games.

Cons:
- There were a few times puzzles felt a little obtuse. Once where i had to just look up a video on what to do.
- There is a little robot that follows you. The robot itself is fine, but there are some key gameplay moments, where it literally is just in the way of you doing something.
- Models. The character models are..........not great. They looks like Oblivion characters. This is especially weird when the voice acting is so good. It doesnt ruin it, but it makes me wish it could be in first person the whole time.

Overall, a great game with a great story and great voice acting. There are a few minor gripes, but honestly, i would recommend this to anyone.

I had only one crash the entire playthrough. Other than that the game was amazing. The story was great, and the crew that wrote it did a great job, as did the crews that animated and coded it. Great job, and great message.

Beautiful environment, emotional and amazing story - very good sequel to Moon.

I still much prefer Moon for how silently immersive it is, and playing a character that was so expressive without facial emotion and dialogue was just that much more enjoyable for me. The climbing in Mars was extremely frustrating and overly stressful in my opinion, and I am deeply hoping it is not included in Earth.

The hologram decryption, while not as annoying as the climbing, also seemed unnecessary and took away a bit of the immersion. I also feel like the collectibles and profiles were harder to find and fill up in this game, which I guess makes sense as it's a sequel, but I really preferred how user friendly it was in Moon. There was also a lot more fun stuff to interact with in Moon, and Mars was really lacking that.

Anyways, good game overall, looking forward to Earth.

Механика скалолазания не сложная совсем и из неё не состоит вся игра, как пишут в отзывах. Нужно банально смотреть вонзился ли ледоруб в поверхность и всё, ни откуда не падаешь.

A story driven game playing out in the future & space where you are on a mission to save the earth. It is a sequel to the game called “Deliver us the Moon”, so it is more likely you will like this game if you have played the first one very recently since the story will make more sense.

The game starts well, but shortly into the game you are stuck with annoying characters throughout the end, and the story becomes worse. The whole game builds up to a moment and then just fails to execute. They not only rushed the ending but forced it to a very strange and annoying direction.

The game is about twice as long due to all the climbing that you must do, which is a very annoying part of the game, and for some reason they decided to fill half the game with it.

Deliver Us Mars é, com certeza, um jogo que vale a pena ser jogado, principalmente para quem curte experiências narrativas com uma pegada mais contemplativa e sci-fi. A história é envolvente, os puzzles — especialmente os que envolvem eletricidade — são bem interessantes (embora eu gostaria que houvesse mais deles), e os gráficos são excelentes, impressionando ainda mais em máquinas que conseguem rodar com um bom ray tracing, mas ainda assim muito bonitos mesmo sem ele. Existem alguns problemas de otimização em partes mais pesadas, com muitos elementos sendo processados ao mesmo tempo, o que pode causar travamentos pontuais, mas nada que estrague completamente a experiência. A dublagem é muito bem feita e passa a sensação de que o jogo foi desenvolvido com bastante carinho. No geral, é um jogo de aventura divertido e envolvente, ideal para ser zerado em um final de semana — e, se possível, recomendo esperar uma promoção para aproveitar ainda mais o custo-benefício.
