Ich empfehle ganz klar dieses Spiel! Die Grafik ist super und bis auf 3-4 crashes in den ca. 8 Stunden die ich bisher gespielt habe war alles top. Das Tutorial hilft sehr! Das crafting ist etwas aufwendig, in meinen Augen aber in Ordnung. Mir macht es sehr viel spaß und man driftet wirklich ab. Tolles Spiel und weiter so an die Entwickler!

Its early to say much, but the game is beautiful, movement is nice, could refine aiming with the bow a bit but its quite usable once you practice. Obviously it needs a danger element, monsters, spiders with some realism, giant scary things your hesitant to approach and rather run from. otherwise i could see it getting boring fast. a multiplayer or co-op would be exciting, quests for rear treasure or elements would be fun. overall i think it has lots of potential.

Cyube VR is extremely addicting, so you've been warned! I've just started playing and love it already. Don't love falling down a mineshaft in the dark and dying though. Soon learned my lesson and got to making torches.
I would recommend this to everyone. It can be very relaxing for us oldies, and I enjoy being able to go at my own pace. I'm blown away by the graphics, and love that in the morning sun, you can put your hand up to shade your eyes, and it works.
This game gets a thumbs up from me.

this game is great once you have a PC that can run it, the crafting is very unique compared to other games like this AND IT HAS A SHRINE TO THE SMOOTHEST OF BRAINS IN IT! only complaint is it just flat out refuses to even try to run if you don't have the minimum VRAM for it and the sun is so bright it looks like "scouting the Mojave wastes almost makes you wish for a nuclear Winter"

As of now, cyubeVR lacks meaningful content beyond its sandbox building. It’s essentially Minecraft without monsters, survival challenges, or real dangers.

Graphically, the game is stunning, though very demanding, you’ll need a high-end PC to run it smoothly. Even then, I had to lower settings quite a bit, like many other players.

The focus of the game is clearly on building, which is well-implemented and fun if that’s your thing. Crafting is immersive; you use your hands to make pickaxes, chests, shelves, and other items that help with building and decorating, but it all ties back to construction. Without survival elements or other exploration goals, the world feels pretty empty until you start building, which I personally didn’t find all that engaging, even though I normally enjoy sandbox games.

There’s a workshop that lets players add enemies, but that doesn’t entirely solve the lack of survival or content. That said, I’m hopeful the developer will implement the features listed in the roadmap, which could make the game much more engaging in the future

It’s fair to note that the dev team is small, possibly just one person, which explains the pace of development. Stil, I bought the game to support the developer because I appreciate the graphics and building system.

Until more gameplay elements or objectives are added, I can’t fully recommend it. For now, it’s a visually impressive but fairly limited sandbox experience.

cyubeVR is one of the most immersive and visually stunning VR sandbox experiences I have ever played. It takes the familiar voxel-based open world and elevates it with gorgeous graphics and phenomenal, hand-based VR mechanics that make every action feel meaningful.

What I Absolutely Love:
Visually Stunning World: The graphics are genuinely breathtaking. The procedurally generated world is a beautiful place to explore, and the sheer scope and near-infinite view distance are incredible in VR. Special mention goes to the night sky—seeing the Aurora Borealis arc across the sky while exploring is a truly stunning, unforgettable VR moment.

Next-Level Immersion in Core Gameplay: This is where the game truly shines. The way you interact with the world is a masterclass in VR realism.

Crafting: The 3D, hands-on crafting system is extremely immersive and satisfying. You're not just clicking a button; you're physically manipulating objects to create tools and blocks.

Gathering Resources: The realism in gathering is fantastic. Physically cutting down trees by swinging your axe and then chopping the logs into smaller pieces is incredibly engaging and makes the work feel earned.

The Thrill of Exploration: Venturing out into the world, particularly the caves, is a joy. The sense of discovery, especially when you find the floating pages that unlock new crafting recipes, provides a perfect, low-stress progression loop that keeps you moving forward.

Areas for Future Improvement (The "Why Not a 10"):
My only reason for holding back a perfect score is based on current performance and content.

Performance: The game can experience some minor lag or stuttering at times. While it's generally very smooth, there are moments where the framerate dips, which is noticeable in VR. [Note: If you've been able to improve this by adjusting settings, you could add that here.]

More Content: While the current sandbox is excellent for creative builders, I would love to see an official expansion of the gameplay loop. The most-requested features like multiplayer and the addition of hostile mobs and new creatures would add a much-needed layer of survival and challenge for those who desire it, greatly extending the long-term appeal. (It's worth noting the developers have these features on their roadmap, so the future looks bright!)

Conclusion:
If you are looking for an unparalleled, beautiful, and deeply immersive VR sandbox focused on building, exploration, and satisfying hands-on mechanics, then cyubeVR is an essential purchase. I am loving playing cyubeVR. One of the things I liked to do in Minecraft was just mine, dig, and explore caves and I can do that in cyubeVR only better! The game is gorgeous, even on my lower settings. I do have a decent gaming PC, but even so, this game is so taxing on it that I had to run it on low graphics settings (GeForce RTX 2070 Super) so keep that in mind. It does get lagging too when opening the settings briefcase.

I really hope this game expands to do more. I'd love to see flying and a way to use hand tracking with the Quest 3. The tutorial could be expanded too, but I know that's a feat. I'm finding it a bit difficult to find out everything you can do, but luckily there is a Discord. Overall, I'm very happy with the game and have really enjoyed playing it. It's just so relaxing to be able to explore and mine without being scared of monsters! The dev's decision to make the sky so stunning was such a great idea as well, sometimes it's nice to just lie back and look at the sky for a while because that with the soothing music makes this the absolute best VR gave I have.

Not gonna lie, I was a little skeptical at first, but I see REALLY GOOD POTENTIAL.

I don't see very many in-depth reviews, it's one of the reasons why I held off on buying this, so I'm going to give one myself.

I absolutely love where this is going. I do feel like the price is a TAD BIT too high for the content, maybe $5 less, but that's not exactly a bad thing YET.

PROS:
-Very peaceful environment.

-Music + Sound design is pretty good

-Environment worlds are procedurally generated, so each new world is a different experience

-The crafting system is actually pretty decent

CONS:

-If you want the game to actually LOOK GOOD, you need a good PC (For example I use the 4090, so the graphics and performance are good, but I've heard low graphics are required for anything less than a really good PC).

-No survival element has been implemented yet (No Food, water, zombies/nighttime enemies, etc)

-Unlocking crafting recipes is a little different than you'd expect, personally I'd rather unlock them similar to minecraft (E.G finding corresponding recipe blocks), but you have to explore around and wander from home to find them along the world (This is a personal preference of mine, not exactly a common con)

THAT'S IT! Personally, I'd say the game is most definitely worth it if you have a good pc, but I do have a few suggestions I'd like to see in the future.

- Multiplayer (Play with friends! (this is currently planned, I think))

- Survival element (Need to drink water, eat food, monsters spawn at night, more hostile mobs, etc)

- Better performance optimization for lower end PC players (This game can get really laggy EVEN on high end systems if graphics are any more than medium)

- Tool Durability (Make em break and have wear and tear after use dependent on material they're made out of.)

- More content (Obviously this is in the works lmao)

For an early access game, this shockingly has good content. The only downside is that the dev is a single working dev so updates aren't too consistent, but I'd love to see the game grow.

This game is a solid 7/10 so far, and is worth a future investment. Great job so far, dev. Keep it up.

Für eine Person ist dieses Game echt ne Bombe.
Auch die Tatsache dass nach wie vor daran gearbeitet wird und das Projekt noch nicht eingestampft wurde ist ein großer Pluspunkt.

Das Spiel macht super viel Laune und ist echt unglaublich chillig zu spielen.

This game is absolutely beautiful and the dev is often connected with his fanbase within his discord server. There will be much more content that comes out overtime, the dev is just focused on importing the whole game from Unreal 4 to 5 so it may take a while. I'm excited to see where this game goes. It does have a few bugs but I didn't personally have a huge problem with them. The game is fair and takes your creativity to a whole new level. There is a huge amount of customizable settings like being able to change how long day and night is, setting if it always rains or snows, the game can be altered perfectly to your liking. 10/10 game from me, there is a lack of dangers, but I personally don't mind, I prefer to be creative over fighting 24/7. (Plus if I wanted to fight enemies at the moment I'd open Blades & Sorcery or something. Also there is a mod that adds enemies I believe but I haven't personally used it, do what you will.)

Keep in mind it's early access. But for what it is, it is relaxing and i find it enjoyable. At the time of writing there are no enemies (you can install an enemy mod via the steam workshop, no missions. It's literally a sandbox and it's all up to you.

I suppose for the mainstream it might be considered as a boring game. But for me, it's a nice escape from our busy daily lives. I bought this game a few years ago, but it's only now that i started to enjoy the relaxing vibe of the game.

Don't expect the same complexity of mind craft. Perhaps in the future, but it's not there yet.

- Это полноценный майкрафт которого мы заслуживаем.
- Графика хорошая, не шакальная (на моей 5080 вся игра на максималках)
- Крафт реализован странно, не через верстак (выкладывать) или через инвентарь, здесь руками собираешь.
- Не лагает, не зависает
- Огромный потенциал в развитии данной игры.
- Как великий охотник, охоться за животными, ради пропитания. НО! животных пиzдить палкой нельзя!
- Можно быть дровосеком и валить деревья, а потом срубленные деревья колоть в дрова.
- Этой игре нужен туториал по крафту, так как без знания англ. языка игрокам будет сложновато начать создавать предметы.
- В настройках можно выставить скорость смены дня и ночи

Минусы:

- сложно крафтить и добывать ресурсы на первых порах. (Ну тебе дают палку и ты идешь во все тяжкие)
Палкой приходится крайне долго бить по кубику, чтобы он превратился в ресурс.

Mi Opinión:
cyubeVR me ha sorprendido gratamente. Aunque es un juego de construcción sin enemigos (aunque hay un mod para ello), las mecánicas que introduce son innovadoras y no se ven en ningún otro juego de VR. Los conceptos que maneja están muy bien logrados y la calidad gráfica es realmente impresionante.

El tutorial está diseñado de forma que te permite descubrir el potencial del juego de manera progresiva, lo que hace que cada nueva herramienta o mecánica se sienta como un descubrimiento. Si el desarrollo de este título continúa evolucionando, podría convertirse en el Minecraft de la VR, no por el contenido en sí, sino por los conceptos que introduce y su manera de integrarlos en la experiencia inmersiva.

El único punto débil es la falta de adrenalina, pero el desarrollador ha dejado claro que, por ahora, el enfoque está en la construcción, y eso está perfectamente bien. En ese aspecto, no puedo más que aplaudir el trabajo realizado. La sensación de crear cosas y el potencial de inventar otras mediante su sistema es simplemente increíble.

Definitivamente, es un juego que recomiendo, incluso en su etapa actual de desarrollo.

cyubeVR genuinely surprised me. Even though it’s just a building game with no enemies (though a mod exists), its mechanics are unlike anything else in VR. The concepts are brilliantly executed, and the graphical quality is stunning.

In that regard, I can only applaud the work done so far. The sense of creation and the potential for invention through its building system is simply incredible.

CyubeVR is great for building your world - landscaping, buildings, the setting for your next RPG game, and much more. The "Objectives" tutorial is well paced, and helps develop your controller skills. Very well thought out. I also like many of the mods, and after a little practice the mods enhance what you can do in CyubeVR, making your building efforts go much faster. CyubeVR allows you to customize and share. I am using a Quest 3, with an Omen gaming laptop. No problems other than an occasional crash when I tried to do too much too quickly. When I relax and take my time those issues went away. The music is great for relaxing too; I come out of a session feeling better about the world (of Mundania).

Es ist extrem entspannt und die Grafik ist auch super.
Bugs sind bisher keine aufgetreten bis auf 2 - 3 Crashes ich hoffe das es nicht mehr so oft vor kommt.
Ich hoffe das der Multiplayer nicht noch lange auf sich warten lässt das wäre absolut geil ansonsten kann ich das Game
echt jemand Empfehlen der Entwickler antwortet im Discord und hilft auch bei Problemen wirklich super =)

It's lacking content and things to do after a short while, but I won't judge since it's in early access. I'd say it's worth a try in it's current state :D

This is a very well made foundation for creating a fully fleshed-out game!

Things I would love to see:
-Any kind of enemies
-Clothing/armor
-A hunger/thirst and body temperature system
-More animals (killable, lootable, farmable, etc.)
-Crops

..and minecarts would be cool too!

I've only been playing it for like a few hours after I got it and I know it shouldn't say it but it gives me vibes as if I'm being playing total minor Forge could be my imagination but I get the same feeling accepted VR instead of just a flat screen but I must make it took a while to figure out how to take care of things and do things but it was fun it has potential maybe we'll see like structures later on and you know naturally spawning ones for looting and whatnot oh and one other thing to the Dev team you might want to do something about the deer because when it snows the kind of look evil unless that's deliberate it could just be me but they look a little odd when it snows I don't know how they can see like that but I know it's just a game but still other than I actually quite enjoyed even though I only played it for two hours I'll have to get back to it again and finish off the challenges and whatnot

An sich ein sehr schönes Spiel, ein Minecraft für Erwachsene wie ich es nenne.
Das Crafting ist ja mal geil gemacht und läd ein zum mehr bauen.

Mir persönlich fehlen noch ein Paar dinge, z.B Gegner, Waffen, richtige Treppen und Türen (jedenfalls hab ich diese noch nicht gefunden).

Ich würde gerne Jagen gehen und auch das Erlegte looten wollen und Hunger, Durst wäre auch spitze.

Macht weiter so und danke für dieses Spiel.

This game is a lot of fun, and isn't just some simple Minecraft clone, as the visuals may let on. The game stands out on its own, though I recommend watching some videos before buying to get a proper idea of what you're getting into, and what you can do. Some of my favorite things about this game have got to be the crafting system, the paintings, the super friendly dev, and the echoes in the cave. Especially the echoes, they caught me by surprise, but your own voice actually echoes back at you! However, the game is taxing on the CPU, and doesn't play nice with discord... or crafting torches too fast (which crashes my game, specifically if I assemble them too fast). As well, the lighting from torches could be a bit smoother, it currently feels like they cut off really short. Otherwise, I love this game, I'd definently recommend it if your computer can run it!

really impressed with this game so far, I've only played for a few hours but I'm hooked. It's hard not to compare every voxel game to minecraft but in this case it feels like the dev has taken inspiration from it but still made it into something unique to the point it doesn't feel like clone but its own individual game. My only negative point is that after 6 hours I've pretty much ran out of things to do. But I see the dev updates regularly so I'm hoping this continues.

Overall I'm happy with it and I think it was money well spent.

games like these make me wish steam had a middle-ground option, because I recommend this game only if you understand what you're buying

I want to say that the game is enjoyable, and definitely a great VR game to just relax and exist in-- with very beautiful vistas found aplenty and great ambient sounds-- but it's rather content dry right now. be aware that buying this game is essentially an investment, because as far as i'm aware there's literally just one (very active and communicative) guy working on this game

the game is very slow-paced and focuses a lot on immersion over snappy gameplay (for example, to craft items, you literally have to "build" them as if they were legos), which can be a turn-off if you're going in expecting "lolol minecraft with shaders in vr" and as it stands there are definitely some improvements to be made (digging with a shovel feels extremely awkward, the vacuum bucket even moreso on top of having a disappointingly small range)
if you want minecraft in VR... dude there's [i]literally[/i] a minecraft VR mod go play that instead lmao

I'm excited to see what this game has in store, but it is very much an early access game and with only a solo dev working on it I wouldn't exactly expect the game to be "finished" any time soon-- for better or worse

I have to say that this is 1 of my top 3 VR games, the visuals are amazing and the gameplay is really fun and addictive. This game is from an Indie developer who is constantly adding new features, fixing bugs and listening to the community feedback. i recently had an issue with the game not loading for me but this was down to a corrupt save file but i was on Discord talking to the developer who was quick to respond and very very helpful. I urge anybody with a VR headset to purchase this game and support such an incredible game and developer. This will be 1 of my games that i play everyday. I wish the developer all the success in the future.

I’m very impressed with this experience. I won’t call it a game, more of an explorer/miner sandbox with some great building mechanics (if you like Lego… this will be a dream).
I’m having a wonderful time listening to streaming music and digging away into mountains. Speaking of mountains; you can totally climb them!
I’m just shy of 5 hours in, and haven’t tapped into the full potential yet, and that’s totally okay! I’m playing at my pace - exploring one minute, and mining the next, and crating new materials the next!
The visuals are some of the best I’ve experienced in made-for-VR games, topped by the king Alyx but rivaling AAA games modded into VR (gta, RDR2 etc).
I didn’t think I’d like the raytracing light with the minecraft block aesthetic but it wowed me from the start!
I have all the settings cranked other than one that said “4090” as an option and the game runs extremely well!

So far my only small gripes are it’s too dark to explore at night w/o risking falling into chasms (I like the long days and short nights option but a “always day” option or some better ambient lighting at night would help!). And some of the objects you craft are so massive and complex, it gets weird trying to move it around to attach more materials. I have no idea how to keep the diegetic interface but make it easier - I’m no dev!

CyubeVR is a nice but shallow and gimmicky Minecraft VR counterpart with little to discover and very little actual content.
The world is big but empty and exaggerated (think Minecraft with Amplified worldgen settings) which makes traversing a chore.

Overall, if your time is valuable, spend it elsewhere. This game has nothing more to offer than a bit of mining of basic resources and ... well, that's kinda it. You can build ofc, but you can build in hundreds other games, too.

- the bucket is a nice idea but even when powered up, most of the items fly past the bucket.
- animals are pointless and there's no interaction with them nor sound.
- the crafting system is an interesting idea but gets VERY tedious VERY quickly.
- most of the recipes you unlock are just random assets for decoration without actual gameplay content or purpose.
- The game requests accessing your mic and camera on app start, causing Avast alerts
- The game changes your system screen resolution to fit the game and doesn't change it back afterwards
- artstyle is OK for what it's trying to be but overall the lighting is absurd (emissive materials are much too bright, torches light up things with an absurd falloff curve where it's WAY too bright and suddenly completely dark)
- held torches light up very little area and should light the same area as a placed oneto allow for more immersive cave exploration
- You can't jump
- there's no physics interaction with objects other than the tip of your tool with a forced grip

All in all, it's a tedious, lackluster experience.
Sorry for the harsh review of the game, but in all honesty its a shallow asset flip from a hobby dev that doesn't take its own product serious (look at the settings and you'll notice).

Had this game wish listed for a long time and saw how much time the dev was continuing to put into it. Finally bought and played it and...wow... can't believe I waited this long!

This game really takes advantage of the change in experience that VR provides. Making your first furnace takes a while, with carefully placing many blocks in the right spot. But by the end you feel like you deserve to start smelting that iron!

I'm having a great time so far and already look forward to jumping back in again.

There is just no incentive to do anything. Gravity gloves and bucket need more work considering that's how you interact with the world and they fall short of what they are needed to do quite often. The crafting (and visuals if you have a decent hmd) is the only thing I found pretty cool and worth investing any time into. Though this too is hampered by the weird menu briefcase which feels funky to use and has way too much going on inside it. Overall, definitely early access and has a long way to go before it's ready.

Mmn. ähnlich wie Minecraft, nur für VR optimiert. Es gibt keine bösartigen Kreaturen, sodass der Fokus mehr auf dem Bausystem liegt. Werkzeuge und weitere herstellbare Items werden aus den einzelnen Komponenten zusammengesteckt und somit manuell/händisch gebaut. Ein Tutorial (kann auch ignoriert werden) hilft beim Einstieg in die Funktionen des Spiels.
Mit einer RTX4070ti und der Brille PICO 4 läuft CyubeVR auf mittleren Grafikeinstellungen sehr flüssig. Auch die mittleren Einstellungen sind ein echter Hingucker - nur schafft meine Grafikkarte keine höheren Grafikeinstellungen mehr.

Ich werde auf jeden Fall noch einige Stunden im Spiel verbringen müssen. :P

Is it Minecraft? No not really

It plays kind of like all the best prices of Minecraft. It has the cube based building. The floaty block non physics.

But it really is just meant for vr. The way you craft is the most satisfying thing ever. Building and exploring are comfortable and easy. Using tools is just delightful (duel wielding sledgehammers that I pull out of my back holsters is probably the most badass thing ever in a game like this). Even the way you store things in chests is freaking fantastic.

In conclusion.
If you like Minecraft in peaceful mode (for now) and you like vr.

This game is good, and is better then ViveCraft (Minecraft VR mod), however it does have issues. Everything is less automated, which really does make it feel like you're in Minecraft. the tutorial is in depth (maybe too in depth) Your never lost on what to do. The game looks fantastic, and runs pretty well, however once your in a cave, the frame rate tanks, with huge lag spikes, the collision in caves is wacky, and they are hard to navigate, and even if you can get through them, they usually end abruptly. The battery crystal things is a col idea, but they don't last long enough for them to worth recharging all the time. I wish there was a way to automate crafting instead of having to manually craft 3 stacks of torches before entering a cave. Overall, this game is fun and worth the price, but is desperate need of some updates. But I look forward to seeing this game improve.

Great game, certainly has a cozy feel to it. Visuals are like walking around in a Bob Ross painting.

Could use more crafting recipes and things to do, like fishing or cooking, but base game has plenty of sights to see.

Only issues I have so far are from trying to get my quest two to stay connected to my computer to run something. That and you can't take two crafted components and attach them to one another. Like a 3x3 piece grabbed in one hand wont snap to another 3x3 piece.
