Cursed may not have the best graphics or story, but it's definitely a fun game. There are a lot of unique and somewhat hard puzzles in this game, that's definitely a good thing.
I have to say that the game's standard resolution isn't great; I felt like there were too few graphic quality options.

Много об игре не скажешь, ибо она всего на 2 часа. Типичная игра с поиском предметов, купил чисто из-за вайбика, мне понравилось. Стоила копейки, выпала металическая карточка как две таких игры, ну и в целом все.
Визуально сделана прикольна, качественнее большинства игр такого жанра которые преследовали меня в детстве, но сами загадки тут не сложные.. а может я просто вырос и теперь слишком умный. Люди в это по 6 часов в обзорах играют, но что там столько времени делать, непонятно.
Рекомендовать могу только если преследуете ностальгические цели, в остальном.. ну можно конечно, но непонятно зачем.

Play a different Jetdog Studios game. This is NOT a hidden object game (HOG). This is a point-and-click (P&C) puzzle game. The problem is the puzzle are at the skill level of a 7-9 year old but the imagery is far more for a teenager or adult. What is this game even doing? The length is like a HOG, but P&C puzzle or adventure games are usually much longer. The voice acting is actually decent, but the items found are usually used just 1 room/scene away. Don't play unless you've already bought it and want to kill two hours.

Hah, this is a puzzle game that makes you feel like you are speed-running it already on the first try. Pure sugar for the brain. You mash throught problems like you're the doomguy.
Loved it. It's short and you'll feel like a puzzle-god. It's a fun palate-cleanser where you'll never be stuck for longer than 15 seconds. You'll get the obvious items when you need them and while some of the puzzles are moonlogic, you'll understand them.
I also have a special place in my brain for the photoshop-mashup graphics, the evolved form of the flash-games of the bygone era. Story goes fast and has a really funny tone of "House of the Dead", where stuff is said and you're like "Okay" with a happy grin in your face.
I'm glad they didn't cram hidden-objects screens to the game. That would had killed the fast pace. Hence this is now a weird little masterpiece, that i'll certainly replay someday.

Moreover, all this is in the style of pixel hunting: it is not clear which objects can be interacted with and which cannot - we poke at everything in a row: interactive objects are indistinguishable from background ones.
Игра ,не слишком закрученная на поиске предметов ,чтобы открыть попасть взять что-либо ради продвижения в сюжете.Обычно игры такого жанра прям поломают мозг ,чтобы понять что,где,и куда взять и использовать предмет.А тут немного легче,в игре имеются предметы,которые сразу видны глазу чтобы понять где их использовать. Благодаря этому игру можно пройти за пару часов,думая что и как под ненавязчивую музыку.

A fairly short PNC adventure with an okay story - get it on sale.
Not sure if this was good upon release. Now it's severely outdated. The main problem with this game is that the image is kinda zoomed in on modern screens. You might not notice that until it starts interfering with puzzles. You simply don't see everything there is which makes some puzzles much harder than they should be. Even the in-game map of locations cannot be fully seen. You can't change resolution here and switching to windowed mode doesn't help.
Beside that, the graphics are very old, animations are a joke (even when the game tries to scare you, it looks funny), The puzzles are mostly easy apart from the mentioned problem. Story is pretty generic.

I don't think this game has a mini-game skip. It has like what... Three mini-games? You don't really need it... Just solve the damn mini-games!
Story: Effort was put into cinematics and well... I think if I was younger... Maybe I would be a bit scared by the images? They did get creative with some monsters. :>

Excellent point and click adventure game with interesting and challenging puzzles... up to a certain point. The game refuses to let me leave the crypt after reviving the rose, and although I can interact with the crypt, all of the controls and inventory are frozen.
Cursed was overall a great game to play! My only problems with it were that the map was HUGE which meant a lot of stumbling around for me to remember where items went, for the most part they were in the same section of map but it was still a bit confusing ;-;. that and I felt like the animation style of the people didn't match the style of game? but despite that it was still a fun play and I would definitely recommend it!
This game's strongest point is definitely the graphics. Stunning. Overall, it's a nice little casual point-and-click (not HOG).
I found it generally very easy, except for one puzzle in particular where it was very unclear what you were supposed to do. In that puzzle, a key button for the puzzle mechanics looks like a reset button, and since there are no instructions, it's really confusing. There are also various instances where one item doesn't work with a given hotspot but another very similar item does, with no explanation as to why.
Also, unlike in most point-and-clicks, the protag usually doesn't say anything when you click on objects. This both can make it unclear what you're supposed to do and hurt the immersion and story depth. Not that the story is particularly deep anyway. Also, Albert talks like such a tool. It's weird. Even with the gothic vibe, they didn't need to write the character so unnaturally.

Before going into this game, I expected it to be like every other hidden object puzzle game I’ve played. I was very wrong. This game was very different from any other, and honestly, I loved that it was.
In [i]Cursed[/i], our fiance, Albert, receives a mysterious letter about a gratifying job. The only problem is that it’s far away, so he leaves us. Time passed, and we hadn’t received any word from him, causing us to worry. This leads us on a long journey to search for our lover, which is full of many dangers and obstacles. Ghosts, demons, monsters, oh my! Can the main character make it through all the twists and turns and find her lover? Can we prevent the world from turning into hell?
This game is a hidden object puzzle game, but unlike many others, you have a list of objects you must find in a scene. You still need to locate objects, but you just pick them up in locations. However, despite how different this game was, I still had a lot of fun playing through. What I especially loved about this game was the graphics and animations. Each location was beautiful, and I adored how everything looked. The animations for objects, creatures, and so on were in 3D, which I found really cool. What’s more, the designs for the monsters and other creatures were impressive.
While the story may not be the greatest, it all made sense and was enjoyable. There’s a lot to admire with this game, so I’m pleased I checked it out!

I really enjoy Point & Click games. I find them pretty relaxing compared to a lot of games.
The story for this one isn't amazing but it's easy to follow and doesn't try to be more than what it is. The voice acting isn't bad either.
Only a few puzzles posed even a slight challenge but were no less enjoyable. I also liked how the game made full use of the items you can pick up rather than having every single item serve only a single purpose. The game largely avoids having too many simplistic tasks, except maybe at the end, where you find an item and immediately you it for an adjacent puzzle.
The only draw back that I experienced with the game (spoiler) is that at one point, there is a cupboard that you can visit and if you hit the hint button, the game keeps drawing you to it for no reason.
I beat the game in less than 2 hours and was able to get every achievement so that minor issue didn't hinder or dampen my gameplay experience in any significant way.
If you're a fan of Point & Click, I'd recommend this game.
As mindless as I play these games sometimes, this was nice filler. The locations look beautiful, and VA is adequate, and animations are better than the others in this series (universe/storyline). The achievements are unmissable, and there are a lot of clickable areas that give you no explanation (or I missed it bc I wasn't paying attention), but everything is pretty easy to figure out, and you get an idea of how they want you to tackle the areas as you play.

Can't even call it bad, just incredibly boring.
Nothing mindblowing, but still rather enjoyable. Grim, atmospheric, with very beautiful visuals and nice animations (mostly). As to the story, I'd call it average+. It has it's share of intrigue, but overall - nothing unique. Also, this is just a point&click game, so only puzzles and no HOG scenes.
As to the cons - it's very short and criminally easy. No challenge at all. And the last thing - would not call it an issue, more like a note. While the game is very shor, it has so much trading cards. I finished the game within 2 hours, so I had to leave it running just to get the rest of them.

Más sencillo y llevadero que otros de su tipo, Cursed es un HOG donde develaremos el macabro misterio tras la desaparición de la pareja de la protagonista.
Cabe resaltar que es bastante fácil; No te obliga a dar 1000 vueltas y te permite reutilizar algunos items durante el resto del juego. Su argumento pudo haber sido bueno pero se desarrolla de forma mediocre y un poco absurda, pero a quién le importa? es un buen matatiempo barato.

Очень приятная казуалочка с большим количеством анимаций и даже катсценами. У персонажей есть озвучка.
Головоломок мало и они легкие, "поиск скрытых предметов" отсутствует.
Весь игровой процесс сводится к "найди предмет и придумай куда его пихнуть". Мне понравилось.

I just had to review this game. It is logical and well thought out. The puzzles were good and enjoyable. There was just the right balance of story, locations, puzzles, inventory items. The artwork & music were good. The puzzles seemed to fit in instead of distracting from the game. The map lets you jump to locations. I don't recall any HO scenes, but you find a lot of items and that suits me just fine.
Cursed je logická nenáročná hra s hledáním skrytých předmětů. Budete mít co do činění s duchy, démony, a mnoho dalšími nestvůrami. Také budete muset i řešit různé hádanky, aby jste se dostali dál. A musím uznat, že animace této hry nejsou špatné jako.

Мало что помню, но попытаюсь описать. Как я помню иконка игры была книга. И там была мини игра где надо что-то делать и колба заполнялось жидкостью. Ещё книги летали. Игра была жуткая. Графика была 2д и старая. Помню локации: локация где была пугало, подвал с сокровищами и какой то старый дом.
Извините за непонятное описание.

Для жанра этой игры, я не нашел ни одного минуса.
По сути алмаз своего жанра в 2016 году.

A short and simple point and click horror game.
It was very short and very easy but it was sweet. It had a nice story, beautiful art and neat creatures. I would of loved a more in-depth story where it really dived into the characters cause there was characters in this and it never explained why they did what they did but over all it was a nice game. If you just want something to play to kill some time that is easy to beat and a nice short story then give it ago.
Not sure if its worth 6$ though.
Cursed is a simple point and click game. It includes few easy puzzles in total and most of tasks to be done are not hard to figure them out.
There is a huge number of locations to visit, they are mostly well drawn. Animations in this game are done neatly, some look caricaturally and funny.
The music and voice acting were okay. Along with the Cursed's story, which is nothing wow, but it is nice and suits the game.
What I did not like was lack of explanation for my actions. The game leads by the hand whole time and it is really easy o figure out what is needed, but as trying to feel as a main protagonist, the whole thing is illogical.
Also it was a shame many of locations are designed to be visit quickly once and never more. You do not even have to take a closer look at the place, you can simply grab one particular visible thing and go further. The annoying part was taking stuff from inside of boards, drawers etc. once you grab everything needed you cannot open the places again.
Even though, I had a nice time with the game. It is not a very good one, but a nice one-evening-shot after a tiresome day.
The artwork and the puzzles were well-done, but I don't really remember the story, not the characters all that well.
Cursed je na první pohled další z řady casual adventur určených spíše jako výplň času mezi hraním větších titulů a přesně s takovým přístupem jsem ji začal hrát i já.
Od příběhu jsem tedy neočekával nic velkého, ale i tak jsem dostal spíše nemastný neslaný průměr. Určitě musím ale pochválit tu mírnou hororovou atmosféru, která zde nebyla nijak na sílu jako v jiných hrách této kategorie. Hra mi přišla celkem krátká a samotný závěr [spoiler]byl na můj vkus až moc divný[/spoiler].
Určitě bych rád pochválil docela povedené intro, které je i nadabováno. Škoda že ten dabing už je jen u některých důležitějších animací, u ostatních textů totiž chybí.
Hratelnostně jsem zde několikrát narazil. Obzvláště v situacích, kdy je možné nějaký předmět vzít až poté, co se na něj něco jiného použije, přitom postava zatím nemá důvod si ten předmět nevzít. Jindy se zase na předmětu zobrazí ikona ruky, ale nic se neděje. Přitom by stačilo napsat něco ve stylu: "Chybí mí X, abych mohl udělat Y", "Nedosáhnu tam", apod. Například se mi to stalo [spoiler]v místnosti, kde byla dřevěná podlaha s dírou, která se jeví interaktivně, protože se na ní kurzor mění v ruku. Při klikání se ale nic neděje. Použiji rezavou sekeru, nic se neděje. Ani slovo. Až poté, co mě napadne, že můžu sekeru nabrousit už interakce s podlahou funguje a dojde na rozmlácení dřevěné podlahy sekerou.[/spoiler]
Je velká škoda, že když už vývojáři do hry nezakomponovali skryté předměty, že sem nedali více puzzlů. Bylo jich až zoufale málo a i těch pár bylo celkem snadných.
Celkově mi hra zapadá do škatulky nenadchne, ale ani neurazí, avšak přijde mi, že v této škatulce dokážu najít i lepší kusy než je tento. Nicméně pro casual hraní je v mých očích tato hra stále dostačující.

Super short (1.5h) point and click game. Don't mistake it for Hidden Object. Here you are basically going from location to location and unlock all types of locks (find the shape, put it on the chest = unlock). There aren't many puzzles here and they are pretty easy. After this game I realized how I miss description of every thing you click that can give you a hint what to do now. Thankfully you also have actual hints and they don't have any impact on achievements. All of them are story related and can't be missed. You can get 8 trading cards but booooy, I had to have it open for longer time after finishing the game, cuz I did it apparently too fast XD Oh also if you have issues with skeletons, demons, Ctulhu type of monsters, maybe don't buy this game. And if you will buy it - just wait for sale

Quite simple puzzles, not much of a suprise in story line either.
I really liked this hidden object game with no hidden object scenes. Jetdogs should do more of these horror games.
I came into this under the misconception that it was a hidden object game. It isn't but feels exactly like one with the HO stripped out. That being said besides a few rare moments most of the interactions made sense and I barely had a need for the hint system outside of just plain forgetting where something was a few times. Pretty comfortable time with all the HO game weirdness and none of the HO gameplay.
I managed to 100% the achievements in one go with no walkthrough, taking just short of two hours. I've run the game a few times since to see about cards but I don't feel like it needs another play, take that into account when buying if not on sale. I think I paid 70 cents or some amount under a dollar and feel like it was well worth it.
6/10 (Long story short) Cursed is a beautiful gothic style horror adventure puzzle hidden object game where you play as a woman who goes through a lot to find her husband.
My takeaway: The art is to die for, for the people who enjoy the gothic aesthetic. The music really captures the moments you’re in and the characters feel believable. As far as the story goes- this one is pretty out there. You play the heroine as she tries to find her husband after he goes missing from a business endeavor and you end up going on a wild goose chase to find out what happened. A lot of the game is voiced and is pretty easy to follow despite the story being a bit complicated. None of it was predictable and although I hadn’t played the game in quite some time I very vividly remember this one- which is a pretty great achievement. The achievements for this title are easy to get and are story and gameplay centered. It should take you around 5 hours to complete.
The hidden object puzzle aspect in Cursed is exactly how hidden puzzle games SHOULD be and if you’re a fan of that type of gameplay I highly recommend trying this out. Especially when it’s on sale.

Un jeu sympa qui propose des énigmes à résoudre, des jeux de puzzle. Ca passe bien le temps même si je trouve dommage le fait de trouver les objets et leur utilité arrive juste à la séquence d'après. A short, straightforward point-and-click that manages to also be pretty sweet in the end. An easy play with a story that could have been the setting for a far more intricate game. There's something special here that wasn't fully realized, but for now its just a fun way to kill a couple hours.

It's OK. A P&C adventure with basically no HO included. Good graphics and decent music. The story is generic for the genre, still somewhat entertaining.
No bugs or crashes. Runs fine on win 7.
Overall, a very casual game. It's also very short. I had to idle for half an hour to get the final cards. The puzzles are very easy. No head-scratchers here. No HO mechanics. There are hints for almost everything. Easy achievements. This is a little tale to go with a little game. Nothing is above average but nothing to despise either. Something simple and nice for a short gaming session.

This game is at best a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke to the gendra. Illogism is everywhere, everything is a three-lock-system one screen apart from eachother, the puzzles are lame, events doesn't make sense, the story is just a messy parody of emotions, character describe their own personna like they would be a godamn narrator.
The guy that did the art should NEVER team up with the lead designer again, cauz his talent has been ♥♥♥♥♥♥ WASTED, and the game is utter garbage, boring, repetitive, an ape could get through the whole game if it wasn't from a couple of stuff that make no sense at all, and don't start me on the horrible story itself, your main concern will be "Why am I so stupid to even be here doing that? It's UNRELEVANT" "Why can't I use that weapon/tool in a more effrective way than the one intended? Like, this is clearly wood planks, my crowbar SHOULD DO" "Why can't I cut the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ head of this snake?! AND WHY IS THE FLUTE PULLING IT TO SLEEP IT'S NOT A DISNEY MOVIE!" 2.5時間くらいでささっとクリア。Jetdogs Studiosさんのポイントクリックゲームです。ヒントやスキップがきちんと実装されている親切設計です。
全文英語で、字幕は出るのですが 会話を途中で止めてくれないので、英語を聞きなれてない人には英文表示が早すぎるかもしれないです。TOEICのリスニングパートがさほど早いと思わない人なら大丈夫。ただ、超ありきたりなストーリーなので、会話わからんでも何となく察せるのではないかなと思います。恋愛脳全開のハッピーエンドストーリーです。
ホラーも要素入れたかったのか、変なクリーチャーやゴーストで脅かし要素を入れようとしてくるのですが、なんせ変なので怖くないです。通せんぼ要因としてヘビ、ワンコ、にゃんこも出ますが、動物愛護系の面倒くさいクレームに配慮したなのかとってもマイルドな対応でお引き通りいただけます。ただし現実に存在しないクリーチャーへの対応には容赦の2文字はありませぬ。
なお、このメーカの特徴なのか、本作にはアイテム探しゲームが一切ありませんでした。パズルもさほど難しくなかったのですが、マップが広くて、あちこち移動しては鍵を見つけて戻って・・という繰り返しが多かったです。お使い系が苦手な人や、日を分けてちょこちょこプレイするのには向かないかもしれません。
絵はファンタジー交じりですが、解像度も高くて描写がきれいでした。静止画アニメーションと3Dアニメーションがほどほどにあって良い感じです。
This game is cursed.
A bit of a lukewarm recommendation on this one. I enjoyed it and have played it twice. It is an okay game - but there are many better ones.
Pros:
- Brilliant art, with cut-scenes very well done
- Good music
- Effective semi-spooky atmosphere
- A few good puzzles
- Not too difficult
- Map and hint system
- Achievements
Cons:
- The major irritation is that when you click on an interactive object, there is usually no description of what you need to do with it. This leads to a lot of reliance on hints, and prevents the game from feeling user-friendly.
- No hidden object scenes. Puzzles are scant. Gameplay is mainly putting the hedgehog-shaped object in the hedgehog-shaped slot.
- Bug where it freezes in a particular scene. Forcing a restart usually seems to fix. Other reviewers have reported further bugs.
It would be a really good game if there weren't so many similar but better ones. Those new to the genre may enjoy it. Veterans are likely to find it disappointing.
Whoever did the artwork for this game, especially the 3D, deserves an award.
Whoever did the programming deserves a kick in the pants.
The fatal flaw was the game freezing up on the ending and now I can't finish the game. I was going to give the game a thumbs up until then. The game did "freeze" one in the tomb (not allowing any interaction) but at least a forced closed-restart got it functioning again.
As for the main reason (after bugs) for why I can't recommend this game: lack of "feedback".
The game does switch cursors but it's inconsistent. The character never tells you if you can do things or not.
If it weren't for the hint/navigation system, this game would be a total loss.
I'm disappointed. The game looks nice, plays well and the story, although somewhat cringey/cheesy, is interesting. Except for having a child sign a demonic contract but whatever.
I liked it, but I would have liked it more. I mainly didn't like it as much as I should because the game was just a bit too easy for its own sake. It felt more casual than other games in this genre; you instantly knew what to do with all the items you picked up; usually, it was some emblem, you just had to fit it into a similar shape slot, or it was an item where the game gives you a description and tells you where to use it. This game could use a hard mode that didn't have anything to do with the hint or clue system because I didn't even touch that. Also, I didn't feel like I had a connection to the characters because there were too many fantastical elements, too many tropes just crammed in together: the Lovecraftian monsters, the dragons, the ghosts, and everything in between, and unless we forget, this is all set in the 1980s as well, so this is just really weird.

Cursed ist eins von vielen Spielen von den Entwicklern/Publisher "Jetdogs Studios". Ich war nie ein riesen Fan vom Point & Click Genre, doch nachdem ich Cursed gespielt habe, könnte sich das ändern.
Bei der Story spielen wir eine junge Frau, die nach ihren Verlobten sucht. Der hat einen Job angenommen, um die Hochzeit finanziell zu übers Wasser zu halten. Doch wir erhalten lange keine Antwort und beginnen unsere Suche am letzten bekannten Aufenthaltsort: eine runtergekommen Villa.
Beim Gameplay handelt es sich um ein Point & Click mit Wimmelbilder und Horror-Elemente. Erschrocken hab ich mich nie, trotzdem hat es der Atmosphäre gutgetan. Hinweise gibt es unendlich, nur ein Timer hält kurz die Spammerei auf. Das wiederum lässt das Spiel wirklich einfach aussehen... was es auch ist.
Die Grafik ist nichts Besonderes. Nicht schön aber auch nicht hässlich. Nur die kleinen Filmchen wirken echt altbacken.

Cursed is a mobile-esque hidden object puzzle game with a horror/mystery theme. Click through various hidden object puzzles and various simple puzzle minigames to unravel the story and uncover the plot.
I can't see any evidence this is actually mobile ported, but the developers are the guys who keep porting those godawful "Labors of Hercules" mobile games onto Steam. However, like all the mobile ported HOGs infesting Steam, fixed resolution and middling resolution assets drop this below contemporary standards.
While I don't have a mobile price comparison for this, they're charging $5 for a HOG, and there's dozens of these for free on mobile, so it's too hard for me to recommend any PC gamer should pay money for this one.
Classic hidden object game, which has every common element to it except actual hidden object puzzles. The story mostly feels the same as the others, the voice acting is better than the average, but unfortunately this is one of those ones where if you don't have the right sized monitor the game was made for, you're gonna have a hard time spotting and interacting with important points of the screen as they are halfway out of the border.
This isn't a hidden object game, no matter what the tags say. It's a point and click adventure. And not a great one at that. Most games, HOG or adventure, at least try and nudge you in the right direction. This game does that, but seemingly at random and only for the most obvious items. "Hmm, this reminds me of something." Sure it does, you saw the lock one screen ago and here's the shaped key.
When it comes to puzzles, it feels like three different teams designed this game. Some puzzles have hints, some don't. Some are skippable, some aren't. As to why they are there? I don't know because they shouldn't be, no one in this game has a valid reason to stop you. If anything the main bad guy should be helping you and there's a distinctly odd moment where he seems to have realized a plan where you were hindered, or Gods forbid, killed, would have undone everything.
Gameplay consists main of fetch quests with shaped keys or items hidden in plain sight. Sometimes right in the same area they are needed in. The biggest challenge was that the game was often silent and would not give a single clue of what to do on a puzzle or with an object. Overall, it was pretty in a dated way, but the uncanny valley characters will forever haunt my dreams.
I got it at half price on the winter sale and honestly can't recommend it even at that price.

The story is told from the first perspective, while you explore into the deep of the mansion, you encounter some NPC and letters left by Albert (the fiance) to tell you what is going on.
The storyline itself is pretty straight forward. It starts with a letter Albert left to you with an address to it. You arrived at the mansion that looks like no one lives there for a long time, but there's a lot of unnatural phenomena that are trying to stop you to advance further, while sometimes the NPC you encounter will tell you what you must do to find your fiance.

Es ist kein typisches Wimmelbildspiel, da es keine Wimmelbilder gibt.
Die Story ist sehr vorherschaubar, und das ganze Spiel sehr kurz.
Ich war in knapp zwei Stunden durch und habe es dann noch knapp eine Stunde laufen lassen um die "restlichen" Sammelkarten zu bekommen.
Die Rätsel waren sehr leicht, abgesehen von zwei wo ich nicht wusste was das Spiel von mir wollte.
Beim letzten Satz am Ende des Spiels gleich 4 Rechtschreibfehler, obwohl mir davor keine aufgefallen sind.
Nichts desto trotz, hat es mir sehr gut gefallen und ich fühlte mich sehr gut unterhalten.
Game is bugged, i couldn't finish it at the medusa puzzle at first gameplay.

Literally one of my favourite games of all time but also don't buy it unless its like super on sale and 50 cents
Also one of my favourite things about it was the lack of any hidden object segments.. they always feel too arbitrary and immersion breaking. The colours and art in cursed are super nice, save for the parts where you can clearly see a skyrim shield or some other asset taken from a different game.
I also really really can't stress enough that as far as protagonists go Eva is so hardcore. Really just popped the hell off.
