This game is impossible to play beyond 5 hours on the first mission. Everything goes well until the police starts to raid buildings, if seized the cost is too much to unlock, you run out of legal money before you can expand to the next area. The time that your Lieutenants give you to complete missions along with maintaining their costs, including paying the mayor 10 Grand to lower the police radar, washing dirty money, upkeep costs.. It is too dificult to play at your own pace. Plus the other Capo's give you a choice, obey them or else.. I love the game play don't get me wrong, but I started the mission after tutorial seven times now, Can't get past the 5th hour.

Maybe it's good I wouldn't know, twice I tried now twice I can't even finish the tutorial due to game breaking bugs like lieutenants getting stuck in the middle of the road, or some other crap that breaks your game. Really shiny from the devs tbh.

Oyunda çok fazla dinamik var ve sizi hiç rahat bırakmıyor. Oynadığım süre boyunca hiç yaslanıp oluşturduğum kartelin tıkır tıkır işlediğini görmedim. Sürekli farklı bir dinamikle sizi meşgul ettiği için başından kalkamıyorsunuz. Oyun realistik diyebilirim. Büyüdükçe riskler ve sorunlar artıyor. Kararlarınızın getirisi, ittifaklar ve savaşlar, federallerle mücadele, kendi kartelini teğmenleri seçerek oluşturma ve terfi ettirerek geliştirme, belediyeler, üretimler, kara para aklama, lojistik vs derken oyun harbiden benim sevdiğim zor temelli simülasyonlardan biri olmuş. Türkçe dil desteğinde ufak tefek hatalar olsa da bu tarz karmaşık oyunlarda dil seçeneğine ihtiyaç duyanlar için bu da güzel bir durum. Bir süre sonra mutlaka tekrara düşüyor fakat bu kategoride bulunan oyunlar için bu alıştığımız bir döngü. Bu döngüye girene kadar da oyun parasının hakkını fazlasıyla veriyor diyebilirim.

The game is just pointlessly unbalanced. You get missions at the start that require mid game levels of development, you get massive attacks out of nowhere, it feels like the depth is actually pretty low but there's just sprawling maps and research and "content" that you'll never actually get to because nothing is balanced or structured correctly.

Liked the supply and demand market, also liked how you can automate mostly everything as long as you build right, but in the game is quite easy to wipe out the rival gangs with 1 city (your starting one), would like the more gangs you kill the more power the remaining get, instead of capturing cities being the factor behind rival gang power.

Н-да, я наконец-то сегодня избавился от всех банд, можно захватывать город за городом, но... Я просто удалил игру и больше к ней не вернусь.
Кривое г. Нет даже возможности для перевозки вбить число в пределах допустимого объема, чтобы отвезли точно запрошенные 40к, а не 41к или 38к. Нет возможности выгнать члена картеля. Нет возможности нанять бойцов (да, с каждым лейтенантомпо карте типа катается сколько-то машин, но я не могу добавить бандитов тем, кому надо, я не могу докупить им оружие). Есть какая-то наглухо долбанутая стамина, которая выдыхается и отряд с 55 мощи может проиграть отряду с 20-ю. Каким-то дебилам от меня всегда что-то надо, даже когда это вразрез с моими интересами, но невыполнение тоже плохо сказывается.

Короче, дурдом какой-то, а не игра, привлекает "запретной" темой, но реализация на отвали.

J'aime bien le jeu mais,

Des tas de petites choses gâchent l'expérience de jeu.

Parmi ceux-ci
:
Les capos qui revienne sur un territoire ennemis après un deal et qui casse la réputation ou/et crée une guerre. (Impossible de recharger une sauvegarde correct dans le mod hardcore donc sauvegarde perdu pour rien).

Les quêtes sont illogiques, et si ont dépensais 1000$ dans notre séchoir.. ah oui celui qui est détenu par la police depuis le début du jeu et qui coûtent 36000$ car je suis en mode hardcore.

Et si on blanchissais.. hm donc vous êtes entrain de me dire que pour blanchir 1800$ je dépense 2700$ par jours et vue que sa prend 4 5 jours je perds minimum 10000$ pour blanchir 1800$ car encore une fois les c'est mal optimisé.

Votre capo vous appelle.. on garde 21000$ ou on augmente ma loyauté.. je garde les 21000 MAIS puisque le capo est dans une ferme qui ne peut pas contenir plus de 1000$ d'argent sale, les 21000 disparaissent.. qu'elle DOMMAGE.

24 de puissances mais peux envoyer 3 attaques simultanée de 17 de puissance.. Ce jeu est en Bêta c'est pas possible..

Les capos qui quittent le Cartel et qui vont faire de la merde impact sur votre terreur. (Pourquoi? qu'elle logique?).

Bref le seuls moyens d'avoir une partie potable, c'est d'être super attentifs au potentielle problème que le jeu va te créer bêtement.

et faire une partie perso pour corriger des systèmes mal optimiser.

Bref je suis déçu.

It's got good potential with its good story lore but it has so much jank which ruins the gaming experience and the game ended up being abandoned, the difficulty curve is very steep, going from very easy to hard and unbeatable, the difficulty in this game isn't exactly creating difficulty via game mechanics much and instead artificially creates said difficulty by ramping up or turning down Terror or Loyalty gain, many of the quests during the story missions are such a slog, and lieutenants should NOT have preferred Terror levels, as if you don't match the requirements you end up having rogue lieutenants quite fast. There are also many typos and I mean very obvious ones at that, I get the odd typo in some quest, but there should not be typos in story quests, come on. Another thing is that the reasons the game gives for some actions seem very odd almost like placeholders, such as when the Capo dies and you promote the 2nd highest lieutenant, the reason for the allegiance gain simply states: "boss is dead" or when a Volatile lieutenant sabotages, the reason is: "is sabotaged"

Great logistics game, but not without its flaws. If you like management games, I'm sure this one will win you over, but you will find yourself questioning a lot of decisions from the developers, especially when it comes to the UI and mechanics.

The game has amazing vibes and does a really good job of capturing the eccentricities of the drug trade. The illegality of the drugs, laundering money, rival gangs, winning over the people and the constant presence of the authorities really make this game shine. The story is good, but I think the developers missed an opportunity not letting the vibes and player-driven stories lead the way, instead of the very structured story you find in the game. I quickly reached the point where the story element was only a repetitive clickfest after reading all of it once. Had the characters in the game acted differently depending on their lore and the game allowed the player various means to achieve their goals, the game would have really shone.

That ties into how, while really fun, a lot of the mechanics feel like they need more polish and thought. For example:

The endpoints in the form of illegal and legal sea- and airports (as well as checkpoints) are a really interesting and fun concept. Unfortunately the execution ruins the dynamic I would guess the developers were going for. With legal endpoints, you need to smuggle your stuff through, adding more complexity to your supply chain, but the advantages from doing so simply aren't there. There isn't amazing throughput, you need to dedicate lieutenants (which the 3-tier illegal riverport does not), you do not receive profit from the legal goods used for smuggling, you need to pay upkeep (with the exception of the airport) and using the same legal good will result in a temporary ban on that good. It is simply much easier and more profitable to just use illegal endpoints in most cases.

The same lack of thought can be found all over the place. Rivals gain power as the game progresses, but their cities remain very weak. This allows for a lot of cheesing, the worst being that you can easily amass enough weapons to suppress the 'garrison' and instantly take the city, which makes the armies disappear without retaliation. Trade agreements can be terminated at a rather minor penalty, resulting in incredible wealth for you, sale agreements are less profitable than simply selling your goods through your ports, the tech tree is poorly thought out and clashes with the 'tiered' nature of the drugs, notoriety lacks options to lower it while how much reputation you gain from what action isn't balanced and the endurance system is poorly balanced.

What might be the biggest detractor of this game, or negligible depending on your background, is user friendliness. Now personally I've played a lot of games that require a lot of patience and micromanaging to play, so this hasn't bothered me so much, but the game does not often make things easier for you. The hotkeys are beyond minimal to being... odd. The game separates deletion into buildings and roads and gives you hotkeys for each, but it doesn't give you a hotkey for actually building buildings or even roads. Interacting with buildings and roads is also incredibly time consuming, with you interacting with each object to upgrade, de- and activate and customize. Lieutenants are even worse. I've lost lieutenants because they were somewhere they weren't supposed to be without me knowing. I've had to calculate how to split resources between them to fully empty them without having them linger afterwards waiting for more (and being locked from other orders until you cancel that one). It's at the level I can't fault the game for lacking more complex features you often see in supply chain games like simplified values.

It needs updates, theres so many little quality of life things that need to be done. It was enjoyable for 20 hours but because of the tedious little things, cant recommend it unless you're really bored.

Also combat needs to be reworked. Endurance is designed to keep you from fighting, even with hospitals.

Part of the tycoon part of the game is alright once you figure it out. That is pretty good for the most part Doubt I played efficiently but the cash kept coming in!

Наиграл 2000 часов. Да, у меня есть жизнь. Просто она теперь принадлежит картелям.

Что игра делает хорошо:
• Атмосфера. Грязная, напряжённая, параноидальная. Ты реально чувствуешь себя не «менеджером», а человеком, у которого всё может рухнуть из-за одного идиота с пистолетом.
• Менеджмент с последствиями. Ошибся — не «ой, загрузим сейв», а «привет, гражданская война в регионе».
• Персонажи. Они бесят, предают, тупят и умирают. Как настоящие люди, к сожалению.
• Реиграбельность. Каждый старт идёт по-разному, и игра регулярно подкидывает новые способы сломать тебе стратегию.

Где боль:
• Баланс временами странный. Некоторые механики ощущаются как «ну вы сами разберётесь».
• Интерфейс иногда воюет с игроком, как будто он тоже часть враждебного картеля.
• После сотен часов начинаешь видеть швы и понимать, где игра тебя обманывает. Но это уже профдеформация.

Итог:
Cartel Tycoon — не идеальная, но цепкая игра. Она не пытается быть доброй, справедливой или комфортной. Она про давление, хаос и управление системой, которая постоянно хочет тебя сожрать.

Если любишь хардкорный менеджмент, стратегию с характером и готов морально принять, что ты сам себе враг — бери.
Если нет — игра всё равно возьмёт тебя. Просто чуть позже.

Cartel Tycoon is a trading management simulator with a slightly Escobar vibe: you are tasked with building your own drug empire, that consists of production and supply chains. You will try to dodge law enforcement and rival cartels, and somehow keep your lieutenants alive while your rivals are probably plotting your demise. The game is like a mix of Sim City and Tropico with a dash of the classic "Tycoon" games but with more explosions, shady deals, and moral ambiguity.

The gameplay is engaging and addictive. One minute you’re calculating profits, the next you’re sending hit squads after competitors and try to overtake their territories to expand your supply & production lines whilst bribing officials or laundering dirty money in many of the establishments under your control. It all meshes into a chaotic dance that feels both strategic and utterly ridiculous, however it's not too tedious and it's not overly mathematical – you can usually "eyeball" your business ratios, and things will work, provided you've learned the game mechanics. The game still offers a solid level of difficulty if you want it. The initial learning curve is kind of steep, but once you master it, the game becomes easy. It’s oddly satisfying to watch your little empire grow… until a rival sneaks in and ruins everything because of a single bad decision. So you got to keep your wits about you to stay one step ahead, and maybe don’t get shot.

The style is charmingly dark, and the humor sneaks in at just the right moments. The graphics are also incredibly nice and the game is well optimised, running very smooth even on the hihest level of details. Its one of the prettiest games with one of the most well thought-out user interfaces I have ever seen. The music keeps the tension high and is on par with the cartel theme. It also reminds you of that popular Escobar TV series from a few years back. Its very chilll and relaxing.

If you like strategy, crime, and morally questionable decisions that make you laugh while also questioning your life choices, Cartel Tycoon delivers in full. Highly recommended.

PROS:
- Very thematic
- Management of cartel operation by means of creating delivery and supply chains of warehouses and various auxiliary units auch as lieutenants to move goods and dirty cash between money laundering outlets works well and smooth.
- Fair amount of management options that work well together within the theme of the game.
- Great visuals and a moody soundtrack

CONS
- Expensive DLCs that should really be part of the base game to begin with
- The additional map DLC does not feature a campaign of its own and the map can only be chosen for sandbox or survival modes, making it a seriously overpriced dud rather than an fully fledged update.
- The supply and demand model that influences the prices of goods on the market is very unbalanced and forces you to keep repacking your products all the time, suspending production.
- The game's development has been stopped as the studio got closed down abruptly, so neither will we get any more content, nor will the bugs and unpolished sides of the game ever get finished.

Lo recomiendo mucho, otro juego como el Drug Dealer Simulator 1 y 2. Pero tu diriges mas las cosas a lo grande y estrategicamente. Lo bueno de este juego. 1. Si haces las cosas bien todos tus productos quedaran en un estado muy automatizado todo y ganar dinero mientras el resto hace el trabajo sucio por ti. 2. El juego es bastante algo realista, principalmente por las fuerzas de la ley. Cada vez que hay un nivel de terror, la policía viene hacia ti y otras agencias mucho mas poderosas y peores. 3. Para ganar contactos haces muchas cosas por ellos a cambio de favores, una vez hecho eso te los ganas. 4. El sistema de lealtad, tus subordinados están siempre tentados por el dinero y la ambición de querer tu puesto, por lo tanto cada vez que pase mucho tiempo mientras hacen ellos cosas, cada vez tienes que pagar mas o darles ascenso. Ya que si no cedes ante eso, tus subordinados acabaran en estado de descontento y acabaran traicionandote, lo cuál te da muchas opciones. La primera, dejar que te maten, eso hará que uno de tus subordinados te remplace y se convierte en el nuevo capo. El segundo, seguir con pagando hasta que te dejen seco de dinero legal y arruinarte hasta dejarte en bancarrota. Tercero, asesinar a tus propios subordinados ya que luego te seguirán pidiendo cada vez mas dinero hasta el punto en que se vuelve insostenible tener que pagar tanto a tus seguidores y lo mejor es asesinarlos antes de que sus ambiciones o su sed de dinero te acribille, por lo tanto la única opción es asesinarlos a coste de lealtad de los demás. 5. El lavado de dinero, como siempre hacienda siempre va detectarte cuálquier flujo de dinero sospechoso por la venta de drogas o objetos ilegales, por lo tanto se lleva a negocios legitimos para que se convierta de dinero negro a dinero limpio. Mi recomendación un 10/10

TL;DR: Great game – fun, adjustable difficulty, and visually beautiful.

If you:
- love watching an ant farm do its thing;
- enjoy Latino vibes and music;
- feel like making a ton of cash exporting illegal goods;
- want to suddenly face the issue of what to do with mountains of money and cops sniffing around your backyard...

...you should definitely consider buying this game.

This game is a real gem. A pleasant trading simulator with that Escobar vibe. It offers a slightly different approach to trading, where managing the sheer surplus of cash suddenly becomes a problem. You'll find a lot of FUN in the micromanagement (it's not too tedious), and it's not overly mathematical – you can usually "eyeball" your business ratios, and things will work, provided you've learned the game mechanics.

Furthermore, the game is absolutely GORGEOUS – the UI is incredible, one of the prettiest and most well thought-out I have ever seen. The music – oh my god, that's something that goes straight onto my beach chill playlist. It's THAT good; I hum it at work.

And what about the challenge? The game offers a solid level of difficulty if you want it. The initial learning curve is kinda steep, but once you master it, the game becomes easy – until you decide to play the final campaign mission (and MAN, it's HARD). The balance is well-made, and in a custom game, you can tweak it entirely to your liking.

A big shoutout also goes to the dev/devs who created the automated management system for cash and resources across the residence-warehouse-transport company chains – it works astonishingly well, and after some time, you realize you can rely on it to a large, if not complete, extent. WELL DONE.

This Game is Micromanagement Masochism.
I like the mechanics, but if you can't manage multiple aspects in a short period of time, this game isn't for you.

From psychotic lieutenants who aren't happy until the DAMN CIA PULL UP, to mellow dealers - there are tonnes of characters to deal with and play as you build an empire which was in fact, built in a day (unlike Rome).

The thing is, it can fall just as fast as it was built.

The story is well considered and the tutorial is very helpful.
There are some issues with spelling and clarity. For example, there's misspellings and some quests are worded so you have no idea what it wants you to do.

In short, this game is cool. The price? Wait for a discount. It would be awesome for more updates

Oh by the way, The tutorial is NOTHING like the rest of the game

Это игра с огромным коллчистовом механик но все сводится к аду микро-менеджмента, можно построить большую систему но контролировать её не реально, очень надеюсь что когда ни будь выйдет вторая часть где будет исправлена логистика денег, да и в принципе их роль в игре, тогда у игры будет потенциала на огромное количество разграбленного контента, на данный же момент весь интерес сводится к тому что бы понять как это все работает и устроено, а когда понимаешь остается лишь часами гриндить. Можно было бы конечно расширять империю и гриндить чуть чуть меньше, но ты этого точно не захочешь.
