Is this game a good racing game? Not really. Play Forza or something. Or Mario Kart.
Is this game a good mecha fighting game? Also not really. Play Armored Core 6 instead.
Is this game a good mecha construction game? Absolutely.
The racing mechanics are ... well, they're fine. They're a serviceable way to use the stats attached to your mech and you can kinda use them as inspiration on your builds. But for me, the point of the game is the building. You're here to build a mech with hilarious amounts of customisation and bring to life that weird homebrew Gundam or AC. It's a bit like legos but for mecha. And you can actually drive the lego after you're done building it.
In terms of value, I'd say it's decent. It's not a 200 hour game or anything but you could definitely sink some time in if you're the target audience. Definitely worth grabbing if it's on sale and you're craving the mech building experience. Otherwise, probably just save up for AC6.

For whatever reason I haven't seen many reviews comparing BA2 to BA3 so when I get BA3 I will do an updated review on which I think is better.
BREAK ARTS II is a unique fast-paced mecha racing game with an EXTREMELY intuitive customization system and some decently engaging gameplay. For a while I've been trying to find a mech game that isn't too expensive and can scratch that itch that Armored Core VI gave me. I wouldn't say that this is anything like Armored Core gameplay wise (maybe AC4A) but you should still give it a try for the customization alone. The highlight of this game is the customization system. Think trailmakers but you don't need to learn logic. You would think a game like this made by a smaller team wouldn't have as much accesability in mind but dear got you would be wrong. Yes there are some complex parts but if you have even the slightest experience with games like trailmakers it will be a breeze to make a mech with cool animations and huge impractical wings or some ♥♥♥♥ like that.
The gameplay is not amazing but it's hardly as bad as other reviews make it out to be. The combat is pretty mediocre as you only have two weapons but the main focus is the racing itself. Honestly if you're good at racing games (unlike me) I think you will have a great time. They could have more tracks though as the variety isn't that great and the tracks themselves could use a little more sauce to them.
This game is worth the price for the customization system alone and also is pretty easy to run as the optimization for this game is pretty damn good (unlike BA3 from what I've heard). You should get this game if you're a fan of mecha games and want something that's not too performance heavy.
Now comes the fun part of me convincing my friends to get this game so we can race in epic robots together >:D

タイトル画面からマウス操作しか受け付けないので注意を。
なぜかスクリーンショットのボタンだけ反応するようで
ここで苦戦した思い出がたくさん保存されました。
また、初回のタイトル画面でメッセージが出ますが
これもゲームパッドでは閉じることができません。
設定にゲームパッド操作に切り替えるなどの項目もありませんので
部分的というのは主にアクションパートのことを指すようです。
PS4版も販売しているのでコントローラーのフルサポートができるはずなのに
アップデートで反映されなかったのが残念です。
この部分をおすすめしないを選択した理由とさせていただきます。

・バトル（コース以外のステージで対戦するモード）
この2つのゲームモードがあるのだと思って購入してしまいました。
正しくはバトル要素もあるレースモードにシングル・マルチがあるだけです。
3の発売まで待つべきでした。

One of the coolest mech customization sims wasted on the worst racing mechanics I've ever seen. It's like looking at the most juicy, mouth watering hamburger and it taste like ♥♥♥♥. I'll try the next one but this is a pretty safe refund.
it's pretty good imo. i don't really like the rubberbanding, but it's a racing game, so like, i don't know what i was expecting? lol
my enjoyment of this game mainly stems from making kickass mecha, for which there are many, many options despite being limited to a bipedal frame. ymmv

This is certainly a game you can play, as to why you would outside of making a robot with a giant penis is beyond me. Also the grand prix is only like 2 races for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason, gonna do something more fun now like shooting myself
The game takes cues from games like RedOut, but changed too much to make it not fun.
You either cruise on the first place without any challenge at all, or you watch as one of the AI cruise on the first place with no hope of catching up. You could just glance at the map to see that the distance between each mech is just so far that it doesn't give that teeth gritting tension most racing game gives.
What makes you grit the teeth is the corners though. As others have stated, the penalty for going out of bound is just so severe, that you might as well restart if you veered off for a second too long. This is what makes the catching up so hard, because the AI rarely ever go out of bound. Compounding this issue, it's the same thing if you got blown up as well. The penalty for that is so long that once you're back, whoever got you would already be so far ahead, while you has to deal with the one behind you. That's probably why when you're first, the AI would just kill each other constantly, putting further distance between you.
I really want to like this game because the customization is great, but it's really just unfun as a racing game.

Наиграл всего-то двачать один час но игра интересная тем более в жанре мега где в основном одни стратегии, я не фанат гонок но мне понравилось тем более музыка довольно драйвовая и есть парочка интересных карт прочемс создание мехи тоже довольно интересный конечно есть и минусы.Нету русского языка(Хотя это и не фатально), Малое количество карт, Нельзя увидить какие мехи у соперников во ремя гонки только после нее, и не очень удобное управление но я к нему привык так что норм. Ну а так игра прикольная хотя я всё-таки советую подождать следующую часть она обещает быть интересные

mech racing with combat is the best way to sum it up, with a decent designer.
In my opinion, break arts II is an intense, vibrant, futuristic and high quality game. The racing part can be a little challenging but I personally just enjoy customizing and creating the robots. I have created several robots since playing this game and the details are quite captivating and fascinating. I also cannot wait until Break Arts III come out in August.

Cool concept, meh execution.
This game cured my terminal illness known as hemeroids and gave me a reason to scream at my friends for what was Armored Core mixed with Mario Kart. Damn good game. Cant wait for the third one.
Break Arts 2 is a game with a really cool concept—a futuristic mech-racing battle hybrid with an awesome mech customisation system. Designing your own mech is easily the highlight of the game, allowing for deep customisation and creativity.
Unfortunately, the racing mechanics fall flat. The game doesn't flow well, and the core design feels frustrating rather than exhilarating. You move far too slowly by default, forcing you to constantly boost just to maintain a decent speed. Worse yet, if you go a centimetre over the track, it slows you down to a halt within a fraction of a second, which makes things feel incredibly bad. Instead of feeling fast and fluid, the whole experience ends up jarring and unsatisfying.
The track designs are weak and lack any real inspiration. There's very little variety or creativity in their layouts, and the art direction and visual effects make it incredibly hard to see where you’re going most of the time. Instead of feeling like high-speed racing, it just becomes a frustrating guessing game.
Combat doesn't fare much better—it lacks impact, with weak sound effects and uninspired weapon mechanics that don’t add much excitement. The AI also doesn’t even have proper mech models—instead, you’re just racing against floating spheres, which completely kills the immersion and makes it feel like you’re not even competing against real opponents.
If you're coming to this as a mech fan or a racing fan, you might be disappointed. The gameplay doesn’t offer much depth in either category. Unless you love games like Mass Builder and just want to sink hours into mech customisation, there's not much to keep you engaged.
I'm really hoping Break Arts 3 addresses all these pain points, because this could be an incredible game if executed properly.

* BA1 has end its service but is still playable, tho you can no longer save or recover your progress and you'll have to start from zero everytime you delete the game
* Customization is very similar to Armored Core and there are lots of parts that could not be imitated in BA2, especially the leg part that isn't a "leg"
* Has more map variety compared to BA2 and has a non-racing battle arena.
Game gets way better to manage if you bring cornering to 1.4. Ideally you should get it while it's on sale, as the singleplayer can be rough with the AI being a little too cheaty

the parts don't have enough description in order to create a good robot, its very hard to tell if a part is going to affect your mech in a way that you want it. it should be really easy to tell whats going to happen to your mech and the way it will.
some of the races just are impossible to get higher than 2nd place, just because for some reason the mechs in first just go so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fast there is no reason to even try to go for first.
i think a rubber banding would make for a better experience. just make it if a CPU racer is just supremely ahead slow them down somehow.
other than those few problems, fun little game. but buy it on sale. hopefully the sequel will make it better.
It's a game that combines robot customization with battle racing. Yet, for some reason, I find myself more drawn to customization than to the actual racing.
With having just recently bought this on sale, this game is about everything i could have hoped it to be.
That is to say, i hoped for a neat little mech builder system, and a neat little racing game as an excuse to build those mechs. A lot of people have talked about the lack of a flourishing online playerbase, and while i definitely feel the void for it, the singleplayer races and grand prix have been consistently challenging enough to get me going back and tuning my different mechs over and over again. Races go between feeling really hectic and desperate, to feeling really fluid if you can find a line and a flow to maintain speed. If you liked Bionicles, IGPX, and Armored Core, you are gonna like this.
It isnt without it's downsides. Like previously mentioned, the online just isnt there (though i havent checked out any discord or anything) and i can imagine theres a lot of people for who that aspect is way more important. Leveling up to unlock everything without online play is definitely a bit of a grind, but luckily there is an option to just unlock everything once youre tired of the drip feed of parts. There is also some general sort of "indie game jank" that will occasionally make you aware of the less polished edges of the game. some levels are a little overly technical, and will leave you consistently frustrated walking out of them after getting your butt handed you you by an AI that is Built Very Specifically For That Track. I also think that other racers being rendered as little diamonds when a certain distance away is unfortunate, and i wish there was more of a fanfare that showed off participants better before and after races.
All together, if this game is on sale (i got it for like $4.50) i think its a really delightful little waste of time, but its not without a little funk. That being said, there is apparently a 3rd game announced that i think has a lot of promise, but until more info comes out about that, this scratches an itch i've had for a while.

Mecha Racing. Build a mech and race it against other mechs, either AI or other players. Customization is relatively straightforward, each part has specific stats and you can put them nearly anywhere. I made a pegasus centaur mech with unfolding wings and it actually did pretty good.

遊戲設計概念不錯，但實際上的操作遊玩卻無法吸引到我。
純以競速角度來說，他的加速＆減速太快，操控上沒有其他款的甩尾、飄移等帶來的爽快感，再加上滿滿光害，看得很痛苦。
再以戰鬥角度，也是因為速度太過於快速了，你也很難認知到在打啥......若想打鬥還是乖乖去玩高達類格鬥遊戲吧。
P.S：遊戲的組裝類型還是蠻有趣的，自己組裝起來的就是好看XD
it's decidedly pretty alright I guess. I got bored of it after about 6 hours and gave up at 10. mech builder is fine, gameplay is fine, visual and sound effects are lacking though. scratches my weird itch for a mech racing game well enough though so I can't complain.
It's Armored Core and F-Zero put together. A controller is a must-have as the keyboard controls are not great. Mech customization is amazing, but takes a minute to get the hang of.
First and foremost, I need to complain a bit. Feels like the title is wrong by comparing it to the first. Small amount of maps, modes and limitation???. It has been a long time since the original but if my smooth brain can still remember there was a boss mode, a battle mode, drag race type and flying off set. Specific arm type that can give the main frame extra speed in thrust boost or extra energy regeneration/stacking. I also might be misremembering things, I do think there is a node or power modules separate from the frame that can be installed that enhances performances in certain aspect depending which frame you use. Also please, I know this is set in the far future 20XX something but please dark mode or chill out with the Holy Trinity of lights in the opening game. Like entering race mode is good, dark background with white text. Why we can't have that?

Alright, enough complaining lets actually convey what I am actually here for,

Is the game a good addition to your library? yes.
Can you customize everything to your artistic desire? You are the Artist, go have fun.
Is the game hard? no only up to the later half when it gets really really difficult as you are facing... well J
Who is J? we don't talk about J but let me tell you about K.
K? oh, just some dude with heavy armor, heavy fire power, can drive back wards, really fast frame somehow.
Is the game fun? yes, for the parts that involve racing and blowing stuff up.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this for those who like fast pace, mind numbing, eye watering effects (hope they fix the brightness), and shenanigans.

Cool mech racing game. Customization is really in depth, and I can definitely see a potential game here. Cool concept. Mechs are super sleek and stylish.
Cons:
You can turn your camera with both A and D (turning left and right respectively) or dragging your mouse left and right. They clash horribly, especially when trying to course correct after going off track.
Mech camera constantly snaps to roughly 15 degrees left of center, even during right hand turns. I don't know if it's an auto-assist feature or a bug, but it constantly pulls me off track - especially while boosting.
Enemy mechs do not stand out, and it's hard to tell who is around you. Even with complex enemies turned on, mechs are replaced with tiny diamonds past a certain distance. This results in enemies blending in with the very glossy terrain, and you just have to rely on auto targeting to lock on.
Every button on my PS5 controller paused the game, meaning I could only really race with keyboard and mouse. I don't think the game likes swapping between using KB+M and Controller.
Ultimately, UI feels very sparse. Even with turning motion blur and bloom off, the screen warp and shake when accelerating made it difficult to interpret the UI. Everything is stark white, and blends in with the light reflections on the glossy terrain.
This could be awesome with a real revamp in polish. Bought it on sale for $5, and it's good as a cheap Mech customization simulator. The actual racing needs a lot of polish to feel fun. Do not recommend buying full price.
Super amazing game and as a gundam fan its extra fun. Especially if you love designing your own mech as with this game the limit is your imagination honestly 10/10 recommend.

Super enjoyable building your own mech and then figuring out its strengths and weaknesses in a race. There are some improvements that could be made, so I'm really hoping for a Break Arts III!
It's my favorite mech designer game, and I couldn't tell you why. 100% of my time has been in machine design, and I don't regret it.
This is an amazing game! The graphics are great (if a bit intrusive in some aspects), and it's almost impossible to design a bad-looking robot. It's just a shame the online races are all empty...

It's a beautiful game in more ways than one. I bought this game long ago but for some reason, I just wasn't able to enjoy it, or even tell what was going on my screen, I returned to it recently and fell in love, I think this beats Redout in how much I'm enjoying it, I'd also like to add that the soundtrack of the game is spectacular.

《BREAK ARTS II》是由MercuryStudio研发的一款以机甲的形式来展示速度与激情的赛车游戏。游戏以炫酷的3D形式结合设计、赛车、机甲、战斗、竞技于一身，让我们在线上（几乎没人，别想了）和拥有共同爱好的真实对手或者线下与AI进行最优胜利的争夺！
游戏有着一定的教程指引，虽然并不十分完善，但是作为一款以赛车竞技为主的游戏，已经足够让我们掌握基本的操作了。不过游戏的汉化并不十分完善，界面和一些位置并没有很好的翻译完全，虽然对游戏的进行不大影响，但是对不十分精通英文的玩家还是会造成一定的困扰的。
游戏主要以竞赛为主，和一般的赛车游戏一般，分星级难度赛道，我们的机甲一样拥有加速喷气刹车等基本功能，所不同的是我们还拥有武器，可以在瞄准敌人的时候给予敌人攻击，所以在比赛过场中，跑最快未必就是我们的最优解，分分钟被后面的机甲各种攻击打爆哦！虽然我们也可以把我们的机甲护盾加到比龟壳还厚，但是毕竟进攻是最好的防守，护盾总有被磨完的时候，所以如果速度和技术不足以远远的抛离对手的话，不如在后面一个一个击毁敌人来得舒服。当然，各种方式都是取得胜利的途径，选择最适合自己的始终是最重要的。
游戏最好的地方是拥有机甲设计升级功能，我们可以利用竞赛胜利获得的金钱奖励在这里可以把出赛的机甲编辑成自己最满意的状态，是盾高防强的防守流，还是攻高速慢的进攻流，又或是一骑绝尘的速度流完全可以靠自己的选择搭配起来，反正只要钱到位，一切都不是问题！各种各样好看又好玩的机甲就在设计库等着我们！
整体而言，游戏还是非常好玩的，只是操作方面还是需要一定的时间熟悉，就算是熟悉赛车游戏的玩家也得适应这种边跑边进攻的游戏方式（和《跑跑卡丁车》那种用道具进攻的可不一样），总而言之，这款男人的浪漫梦想就在这里等着我们，还不来一发？

It's ok, has a bit of fake depth and there's not really much to the races.
The mech builder is amazing but the racing itself is rather lackluster.
It is a fun mech racing game. The racing is fairly limited though, since the AIs are not very interesting. I still recommend it for the customization.
On the search for both a good racing game and a good mech game for a second I thought that maybe I had found both, until I impulse bought it and actually played it.
Simply put, this game is jank as hell and I'm not even sure what the dev was going for. Controlling the mech is miserable, I don't think I've ever played a racing game where I didn't understand how the hell I'm supposed to take corners, the track is like butter and the closest thing to a brake or handbrake seems to do little, if anything at all. Not sure what the point of the guns are either, other than for the AI to rip you out of first place because they only ever target you for some reason (they arent satisfying to use either).
Best part of the game is how it looks, its a very pretty game that's for sure, and I can imagine spending a lot of time in the mech maker if Iiked the game more.
Also pro tip: Keyboard and mouse controls are absolute trash, use a controller. Despite controller being the best way to race there is no controller support in menus for some unimaginable reason
BREAK ARTS II is one of the most unique racing game experiences that I've had the pleasure of enjoying
The amount of depth in customizing your robot and the sheer amount of options available to fine tune your mech is insane. Having the physical parts of the mech impact different stats and the visual style is a great way of making different aspects of the game mesh together.
Please, buy this game and give it a try, you won't regret especially if you love gundams.

I wish I could recommend this game. I really do. Unfortunately, it's less of a game and more of an exercise in frustration. Steering your mech feels like driving a dump truck on ice on anything short of max handling, there's no reliable way to avoid incoming weapons, flipping the mech around to deal with attackers is frustrating to say the least, and there's always going to be that one racer that peels off halfway across the universe where no one can hit him and thus wins by default.
If you're [i]really[/i] invested in the idea of mecha racing and don't mind wading through a straight-up mountain of jank to get your fix, sure, you might get some enjoyment out of it. But unless you're willing to fight this game tooth and nail to get [i]something[/i] fun out of it, I'd look elsewhere.
I want to recommend this game, but it has a critical flaw:
This is a game where much of the fun is in custom building and customizing your mech, and YOU CAN'T SEE OTHER PEOPLE'S MECHS DURING RACES. You race a bunch of little diamonds, and only see what you've been racing against on the podium at the end.
Building your mech is fantastic, but racing it by yourself against a bunch of little diamonds takes a lot of the potential fun away.

很不错的想法，自己搭配机甲竞速战斗的同时，还要和对手进行博弈，当然如果技术够好一枝独秀也没问题，单人游戏也设置的难度刚刚好，不会太难以至于自己搭配的机甲过不了关；也不会太弱，可以让玩家失败的同时引发思考：自己的装甲推进器是不是有些不合理？我的盔甲是不是太薄了？诸如此类的疑问，但游戏更偏向于小众体验，玩耍的人并不多，并不会有什么攻略，这也间接推动玩家靠自己思考来解决机甲自身的性能问题。还有，这里居然有世界观的设定，但是只能在加载页面观看，而且还加载的很快，完全没有读完的时间啊喂！要是专门设置一个按钮来看故事的话就更好了。
总之，游戏不错！类型是机甲竞速。

2.和第一点一起，外形和参数都可以通过玩家手动安装组件来进行调整
3.1 它确实有很多种武器组件，而且就算是一把同武器也可以组装不同的组件来调整其性能
3.2 但它游戏目标并不是干掉其他玩家

У меня впечатление что гонки с пострелушками здесь прикручены чисто чтобы были, а вот многочасовой редач зеро-ту своей мечты под лоуфай плейлист с горячим шоколадом, пока на улице барабанит холодный ливень - это действительно доставляющая атмосфера
Но даже так - проект чисто нишевый. Настолько, что никогда не светится на распродах и если вы оказались здесь, то как и я скорее всего по чистой случайности.
Мне кажется что BA - это всё таки про визуал. Детище меркуриев вдохновило меня на эксперименты в уже реальной графике, которые я откладывал в долгий ящик из-за отсутствия настроя.

②セーブデータが突然消滅するバグが報告されています。あいにくこのゲームはSTEAMクラウドに対応していないので各自でこまめなバックアップを取りましょう。（セーブデータのフォルダは AppData>LocalLow>MercuryStudioにあるBREAK ARTS IIフォルダです。)

[b]自由度の高い天才的なアセンシステム[/b]
このゲームのアセンの特徴として腕や胴体といったパーツを付け替える一般的なシステムではなく、素体についている大小のコネクタに、性能が増減するパーツや、性能に影響しないがコネクタを延長、拡張したり稼動を仕込めたりするジョイントパーツを取り付けていくという方式であるが、これが素晴らしい。というか天才的な発明である。
このシステムのメリットとして、外見の自由度が高い。稼働ギミックを作りやすい。同じような性能でもまったく見た目が違う機体を作ることができ、カスタム系のロボゲーでよくある「マルチでテンプレ機体ばっかり」といった問題点をこのゲームではシステムで克服している。操作が直感的。といったメリットがあり、細かいディティールが作りにくい。最初は少し戸惑いがち。ということを除けば完成度の高いシステムであるといえる。(Twitterで漁れば自由度を生かしたすごい機体が色々と出てくる)重量とステータスの増加値は一定の比率なので造形面でよく使うパーツはあれど性能的に特定のパーツが強力ということはない。
また、武器も同様のシステムで作ることができ、マシンガンのような武器からスナイパーライフルのような武器、ブレード、コースにまく罠も作ることができる。無論武器にも前述した稼働ギミックを仕込むことができるので、こちらも外見の自由度は高い。それぞれのパーツのデザインも良く適当につけていてもカッコ良くなる。見た目と性能のバランスを試行錯誤するのが楽しいという人にとっては最高のシステムである。またオプションで隠しパーツ以外は解放できるので面倒なら使ってしまうのも手。

他の方のレビューでも散々指摘されているがレース部分がつまらない。というか前述した自由度の高いアセンシステムと絶望的なまでにかみ合っていない。ぶっちゃけて言うならレースゲームにしていることそのものが最大の欠点。
[b]レースゲームにしてしまった事による弊害その1、人の機体が見えない[/b]
レース中に稼働するギミックが作れるこのゲームにおいてあまりにも致命的な欠点。
事実、私はこのゲームをそれなりに長くプレイしているが、一部NPCの機体に稼働ギミックがあることを知ったのはつい最近である。それほどまでに他の機体が見えない。遠くの機体をひし形表示にせず移すなどの処置では改善しない問題である。というのもレースゲームはゴールの方向に向かって進むゲーム性の都合上相手の機体と向かい合って撃ち合うことがなく（一応振り向き撃ちという機能があるがあまり使わない）また車間距離が離れるようなレース展開になると機体の小ささも相まって、一人で走っている気分になるほど他の機体が見えない。かといって機体を大きくするとコースが見えにくくなってしまい、プレイに支障をきたしてしまう。結果として作りこんだ機体をレース中に見てもらえないといった欠陥が発生する。

レースゲームと聞いて何のゲームを思い浮かべるだろうか？
有名どころではマリ〇カートやリッジ〇ーサー、グランツー〇スモ、ザ〇ルーなどが挙げられる
マリ〇カートではアイテム要素を取り入れ運の要素を強めたパーティゲームに近いレースゲームとして人気を博している。
リッジ〇ーサーは現実では絶対にできないようなドリフトやターボによる爽快なゲーム性で人気だったシリーズだ。
グランツー〇スモ、ザ〇ルーはリアルな車でサーキットやオープンワールドを自由に走ることができる。言ってしまえば車のキャラゲーであるとも言える。現実では高価な車を自由に思う存分乗り回せることを売りとしている。
さてこのゲームはゲーム性で売るタイプか？キャラで売るタイプか？
私はキャラで売るタイプであると感じた。自由なアセンシステムで丹精込めて作った愛機でレースする。レース部分よりもアセン部分を高く評価されているこのゲームでは当然のことである。ところで皆さんはロボゲーと聞いて何を思い浮かべるだろうか？恐らくロボットで敵と戦うゲームを想像するだろう。車のゲームと聞いた場合は自由にドライブしたりレースをしたりするゲームだろう。グランツー〇スモやザ〇ルーが車で撃ち合いをせず走っているのはそうでないと不自然でありキャラゲーとして支障をきたすからである。さてロボゲーの場合はバトルはもちろん撃ち合いながらレースをしていても視覚的な違和感はない。
「じゃあレースしていてもいいのでは?」と考える人も多いと思うが、ここで見出しの「レースゲームを面白くするのは難しい」
が出てくる。最近のレースゲームはゲーム性よりもリアルさや自由に車を走らせられるという点を売りにしているゲームが大半である。それはリアルさや雰囲気を求めるユーザーの傾向もさることながらレースゲームに面白いゲーム性を与えることは難しいといった側面もある。難しさの一例をあげると、下位にアドバンテージがないと、一度逃げ切り体制になると追いつけなくなってしまいそのあとのレースがつまらなくなる。かといって下位にアドバンテージを過度に与えるとダラダラしたレース展開になり肝心の爽快感が出ない。逃げる側にも追う側にも希望を持たせ、かつ爽快感を出すのが難しいということが挙げられる。実際ここのレビューでもレース部分の評価は低く、高評価レビューはアセン部分をメインで褒めているのが実態である。
[b]レースゲームにしてしまった事による弊害その3、そもそも需要がない[/b]
ロボでレースする需要がない。これに尽きる。前述したようにロボゲーでイメージされるのは敵と戦っている様子でありレースをする様子ではない。このアセンシステムでレースとバトルどっちがしたいかと聞かれれば10人中9~10人がバトルを選ぶだろう。実際、生き残っているユーザーでのオンライン対戦では基本的に団子状態での撃ち合いやロビーでの機体鑑賞を楽しんでおり、スピード感のあるレースを主目的に楽しんでいる人はいない。

散々にレース部分をこき下ろしましたが、アセン部分は最高に素晴らしいゲームです。アセンに魅力を感じたら定価でも買いだと思います。（実際アセンしかやってない人もそれなりにいる）1480円で稼働ギミックまで作れるロボゲーはこのゲーム以外にないのでおすすめします。

If you want to use a keyboard the game seems like it is built for turning left or right is a nightmare and is only done via the A/D keys instead of a mouse which you would want for a racer like this.
A controller is a better option beyond the part that the game doesn't support the controller at any part beyond during racing so you will be swapping the two often.
I'd just buy a different racing game.

Overall I'd give this game 6/10 while in promo (50%).
It had a good premisse and it was on my wishlist for a while, mech customization and racing? Sounds neat!
The first few hours were great and I didn't even think of refund. Problem was after getting rank 4 to 5:
- The pieces you unlock aren't by themselves better than others. If you compare the cost/benefit ratio of a piece you start unlocked and one unlocked at rank 3 or 4 they are the same, performance-wise. Of course, many give more varied bonuses, but still keep more or less the same balanced ratio. This is great for multiplayer, but terrible for single player.
- About multiplayer: there are almost no one in lobbies ever, sure there is an unnoficial discord server if you want to play with others (check discussions here).
- As with singleplayer, AI is either silly and unchallenging or will throw a two-hit kill bomb at you in some missions. It becomes even worst on late game, where even on overdrive mode you can't outpace one or two NPCs.
- Rank progression, which you improve by beating missions, is very grindy. I was around the mid/end to end races without repeating them and only got rank 5, which each race good race giving less than 9%.
- Another problem I found was on customization: every, every mech has the same base body: same legs, same chest, arms... sure, there are some neat mechs made, as you can see in screenshots. But still, it hinders customization a lot.
- Comat-wise, it's not easy to make a gun with amazing DPS as far as I know, but NPCs will destroy you with only a few hits AND they're fast. Seeing how every piece of the mech is a trade-off, I really don't get how my enemies can be good at everything.
- Most of the races can be won with a dull strategy: don't launch full speed, break a bit, wait for the leaders to break and keep attacking some other mechs while waiting for an opening. When it happens, full-boost and don't look back, just mind the curves and your speed.
- The stages are pretty, but dead. Remember games like crash team racing where the track felt important and alive, beyond just managing the mostly easy curves? Here it's just the curves, since even trap weapons have a set duration (weapon-stat based) and thus aren't persistent. If you also don't like circuit races and prefer either CTR-like or races from Most Wanted (2005) or Midnight club, these tracks won't be fun.
- Little variety of tracks.
On the bright side, game is back being updated, albeit with mostly small patches and balancing so far. So I don't really expect something game-changing.

我RNM傻批软蛋组件重复设置，老子CE改完之前啥事没有，退出来准备给机器人捏左右手武器，进去界面就发现不对，武器超三个的还好解决，我RNM仙人板板整个什么组件重复设置的警告，这下好，EXIT&SAVE又直接给我扣了，这还不算什么，如果能清空或者还原然后退出解决机器人那边的问题大家还是能好好做朋友嘛，原本我是这么想的，结果狗娘养的武器清空完还是那个B提示，这下武器设计页面横竖退不出去了，挨千刀的玩意儿自由度高点会死吗？是NM小脑进屎还是大脑吃翔把退出和保存键搂在一起的，老子不合你那B规定退出去咱着设计不要了不行嘛，结果退都退不了，NM$L需要人给守灵是吗把人锁在设计页面？搞得B竞速手感又差搭建系统又搞不好你这整的个B烂游戏，这下好，熬夜的成果alt+f4一键人财两空。
