Considerando quanto tempo passei neste jogo, provavelmente deveria revisá-lo.
Anyland não é como qualquer outro jogo que eu já joguei. Para começar, é ao mesmo tempo o jogo mais fácil que já joguei e o mais difícil. O jogo não configura nenhum bandido para derrotar e não há missões inerentes a serem concluídas. Você não obtém uma pontuação alta e nunca corre o risco de morrer. Você constrói coisas a partir de formas simples. Uma mesa é um bloco plano e quatro blocos longos, uma bebida é um cilindro com líquido dentro. O script é tão simples quanto dizer a um objeto para fazer algo quando algo mais acontece. Superficialmente, parece ser nada mais do que um jogo de realidade virtual social fofo, onde as coisas são um pouco mais personalizáveis do que outras, mas é só isso
Esse é o modo fácil.
Então temos o "modo difícil".
Quando você realmente começar a se interessar, encontrará um jogo mais complexo, mais elaborado, mais envolvente e mais aberto do que qualquer coisa que eu já experimentei antes.
A maioria das pessoas começa criando um avatar, é um bom lugar para começar e enganosamente simples. Eu vi avatares que têm um esquilo pilotando uma aeronave WW11 como cabeça, um que se parece com o Job Bot do Job Simulator, um que tem um pássaro de cabeça e dois pássaros como mãos e nada mais, e um que se parece com um robô muito elegante. Meu próprio avatar tem um punho movido a foguete que posso disparar. Eu fiz isso porque pude, e porque me agradou, e por nenhuma outra razão. Você está limitado apenas por sua imaginação e pela quantidade de tempo e trabalho que está disposto a dedicar às coisas que faz.
Como armas? Há milhões para experimentar. Não gosta de nenhum dos que você encontra? Faça o seu próprio. Você pode fazê-lo disparar o que quiser. Balas, granadas, lazers, bolhas, lava, porcos. Você faz isso, você pode disparar.
Não gosta de armas? Faça qualquer outra coisa. Literalmente. Qualquer coisa. Mais. Eu fiz uma floresta. Eu também fiz alguns peixes, eles nadam em um pequeno lago. Conheço alguém que fez uma réplica do Castelo da Disney. Alguém fez um trem que você monta. Para o Halloween, alguns usuários fizeram uma trilha assombrada. Foram sustos e até mesmo uma entrada para o Mundo Invertido. Existem mundos construídos em torno da resolução de quebra-cabeças, mundos construídos para parecerem bonitos, mundos construídos para jogar. Outro dia eu vi um mundo onde alguém fez uma máquina de bolhas com bolhas estouráveis.
Nem todo mundo ou item é ótimo. Nem todo mundo ou item é perfeito, e é por isso que este jogo é "difícil". Cada coisa que mencionei até agora foi feita por jogadores. Os desenvolvedores neste jogo são incrivelmente responsivos à comunidade e muito interativos, mas fornecem apenas as ferramentas. Literalmente, apenas as ferramentas. Quando você se concentra pela primeira vez, não há tutorial. Você se encontra em uma rocha estéril com nada além de um par de mãos e um anel no polegar. Há um vídeo tutorial sobre o anel que você pode assistir de dentro do jogo, mas nada mais é do que o básico do básico. I wish I had posted my review when the game was in its prime and still operational.
But after almost a year or so of it being shut down I am finally starting to post reviews on games I think deserved them.
This is the game that saved me back when I built my first ever desktop and got my first consumer grade VR Headset which was the HTC Vive.
I was going through some hard times and barely wanted to exist let alone do anything but with this game, the friends I made, the Projects I worked on, and the people I met, it kept me going and awoke a sort of creativity in me that evolved and shaped me as a person.
Without this game I definitely wouldn't be where I am right now or have the friends I have right now.
This game was also the place I accidentally started my online presence with Twitch as I was just sharing what was going on in game with everyone and someone had suggested I should stream it to them, then it kinda took off from there with my 20+ hour streams (which can still mostly be viewed on my YouTube Channel: Lynk_Wyland) and my countless hours spent on random misc projects that I never actually got to finish as I just loved starting things but hated finishing them as with a lot of people, I hate when a story ends.
Sadly though after all of the stuff I did in this and tried my hardest to prevent them from ending, the fate of this game was in the hands of monetization which didn't work out in the end and the developer ran out of money, leading to the servers shutting down and leaving everyone with only the memories of what the game was.
However, some smart people were archiving as much of the games assets as possible and they managed to save a ton of people's creations, mainly those that had them public or chose to share them with the archive. Those who did not make them public or share them either can get luckly by someone somehow having those items in their cache or sadly lost them to the void.
After the archiving a few awesome people in the Anyland Discord worked on and actually published a working version of Anylands servers which hosted the old Archived content but will treat you like you are brand new when you log on.
It's perfect for starting over or at least reminiscing in the worlds that we're saved.

I'm going to stop myself here as Im sure I could go on for days about the memories and old times and all that stuff. But in the end, this chapter of the story has come to an end.
And with that I wanted to thank everyone for everything they've done or are still doing for this fantastic game and for me. Without all of you, I don't fully know where I'd be or what I'd be doing. Now I get to stay creative and working on projects that I love thanks to the people of this community.
I love you all and hope everyone remembers this game for years to come as a good thing. Even if the ending wasn't so pleasant.

Normalmente jogo multiplayer only morto assim eu costumo negativar até pq não tem como recomendar jogar o que não funciona mais, mas olhando um pouco a história do jogo parecia ser bem interessante, parece desses tipo VRChat só que com foco em construção, mas uma pena que os servidores foram desligados. Atualmente existem outras alternativas mais parecidas desse gênero e pra quem tiver com esse game na biblioteca, a única utilidade atual possível seria pegar um colecionável pro SteamVR que acabou sendo minha intenção, pois tirando isso não tem mais nada de positivo já que o jogo em si não funciona mais.
It really sucks what ended up happening. The fact that you could make your own world AND body with geometry in-game was an amazing concept and I wish this got the attention it deserved.
In my brief experience with this game, there were zero other players online. A world full of structures people poured their hearts into, but with none of them remaining. Couldn't get any friends else to join me in the game either.
I don't know what else I'd do in there but I wish I tested around with the construction features a bit more. A shame you can no longer interact with it, even in a singleplayer instance.
Nothing stings more than unused potential. It hurts.

This game may not have grown to the heights of its contemporaries or escaped its niche status.
By not doing so, it managed to remain true to its ultimate goal: To be a universe shaped by the people who inhabited it, free of the pain and disappointment of growing into something that was unrecognizable from when it began.
However, remaining true to yourself can come at a cost, and the cost for Anyland is that it's no longer able to be kept online due to operating costs, incurred by a former two man team down to one man who kept the servers alive.
Fly high, Anyland.
i have never loved a game more than i love anyland. it is so easy to create things, i started playing the game a few weeks ago it makes me sad to see how little attention the game of all games gets. if you reading this are trying to decide whether you should get this game do it.
This is an absolutely amazing platform! It takes a good day or 2 to get the hang of the basic controls. The learning curve is a little steep. But there is SO much one could do with this. I hope to explore more of its features.

seeing what remains of what i can only assume was once a thriving community is a little sad, me and my friend were the only two on this game for a good few hours..
*BUT*, the things you can do in this are awesome, one of the places i went to allowed me to pick a selection of things to attach to my avatar, other places had tools and cool builds, then i went back to my world with my friend, we messed around with a bouncy ball, and then i finally got deeper into the creation system, only slightly though, but it has given me ideas, i extended the laser beam from one of the items i had attached to my left forearm, a trash deleting laser (the laser is a "liquid", deletes some stuff, such as a ball or a flare that has been thrown / fired), the laser was a little too short, so i merely extended it.
an idea this has given me, a forearm with a bunch of things, such as a "liquid" cone that clears a wide area of "trash" fired right from my wrist, a flashlight, a thing to "shoot" an orb of light that sticks to surfaces, perhaps once ive gone deeper ill learn more complex stuff (as if what i just listed isnt still complex to me).
ok so, just realized this isnt really a review but more just me typing a wall of text of experiences and ideas, but i hope this gives any potential players a nudge to give it a try, its free after all, no core element is locked behind any paywall, i bought some "creation tools" thing i saw on the back of a menu, i honestly dont even know what it did, but it was like five bucks CAD for a year's access to it (whatever it is, still didnt check), and from my understanding, the dev(s?) is in the red due to server expenses and similar, so if it means i can help pay for that, even a little, im all for it

Well my experience wasn't that good because I didn't play it with a VR headset.
The game is good and has great potential with a good understandment of the game's mechanics, however i created myself an head and misplaced it. i am now forever stuck with a tilted head and has no idea on how to remove it, nothing works.
Well, my one month free trail (to create stuff) has ended. Here's what I think.
I think Anyland is a good VR game.
Anyland will let you create stuff using pre-made shapes. Very similar to Minecraft but you aren't limited to just cubes, You can use spheres, triangles, spikes, and other stuff. You can even make your own character as your in-game avatar without needing to know how to use third-party modeling programs. Not only that, but you can also script stuff in game without needing to know coding. It is incredibly easy to learn how to make stuff. However, it is hard to master. The perfect balance.
Anyland is also a good place to talk to people. No time limit on that. You can go to other people's areas and see what they made. Now unfortunately, the servers are (metaphorically) dead at the moment so you won't see many people. The areas other people made are still open to the public. Unless they set those areas to private then that's another story.
Now I think I know why no one is playing Anyland. (Mildly controversial)
First of all, no one is playing. Ironic I know. If people want to talk to people, and they see Anyland is empty, they're gonna move on to a more popular VR multiplayer game. Second, I believe the monthly/yearly subscription might be a factor in this. Why? Because no one wants to spend money on a free game.
When I first played Anyland, I thought that paying for 'Creation Tools' would give me more advanced options to create stuff. I was even expecting to be able to change the spawn point(s) of your area(s) once you bought it. Nope, I was wrong. It was a subscription to create stuff in general. Once your free month expires, you won't be allowed to create stuff anymore. You will be allowed to talk to others and modify your avatar using pre-made assets, but you can't outright create stuff.
Should you try Anyland despite its dead servers and subscriptions? Of course! If you're the creative type and you're an introvert, this game would be perfect for you! Yes, I know that sound paradoxical knowing this game was designed to be a social game, but as I stated several times, the servers have no one in them. So if you are afraid of people yet you want to make stuff (and rich enough to pay to create stuff yearly), I would highly recommend Anyland!
This game is dead. I just played it for 15 Minutes so I can get the free Item for Steam VR.
with over 125 hours played in game, anyland was a game that really sparked my creativity in vr. this game still holds up as one of my favorite games of all time, i've played it since 2018 and couldn't stop playing, it's extremely creative and if you put your mind to it you can make it. the creation system is well made, with so many different parts you can put together to create different things, then mentioning the script system. you can truly make anything once you learn about that, make it so when you press a ring on your finger or if you tap the side of your head a display would pop up, you can spawn a shield or make it so if you tap a button on your wrist a shield pops out. theres an inventory system allowing you to take things and bring them along. theres in game support for other games, you can watch youtube or browse the web for references all in game. make text to speech on a character if you don't have voice chat, make different worlds and so much more. the only thing i wish would happen is if the player base was more then what it is today. when i first played i made so many friends so quick, everyones nice and chill over all just awesome. please try this game!

lots of fun to bad it died
very intuitive, charming and fun social platform -- easy to get into, barely any modelling or scripting knowledge necessary to create fun worlds and there's already a trove of amazing content to explore. sadly, its life as a social platform has long since ended, having seen a whopping zero players in like a year. it's such a shame to see such an ambitious project die at the feet of the titan VRChat, even after its terrible EAC update.

I absolutely love this game! I have fallen deep into it in the last few days and could not recommend it more for anyone interested in a social platform where you can build almost anything. I personally do not understand how this game has not blown up yet. In this game, you get way more features in the building department than I have seen in any other VR title to date. Such as the fact that you can build almost anything extremely easily, like shockingly easily! Like so easy that I was building things made more out of just basic shapes within the hour. You can even edit the points of a, let's say, a cube or cylinder to make it into different shapes! There are coloring, texturing, particle, layering, scripting, and much more systems at your disposal. You can also use the script system to make objects do simple things such as move from one place to another to full reactive animations and sounds! And the best part is that the scripting system is extremely easy to use even to a beginner such as myself! There is much more you can do in this game and if I were to go more into detail I would be writing this for hours.
The community is also amazing! Everyone I have met so far has been amazing and more than willing to help anyone new to the game. Within seconds of joining the game for the first time, I was greeted by another player who helped me get used to the controls and taught me some of the basics. If you have a question you can usually get an answer very quickly which is very nice! There is also an Anyland discord that can be joined at https://discord.gg/ahAs7U3.
To keep this review relatively short I would like to give this a 9.5/10 as said above. The only real thing holding me back from giving this a full ten is the lack of major content updates. The game does get updated but the updates tend to be more along the lines of patches. I am sure though that if this game picked up more steam then the developer would be more inclined to release more frequent content updates. So if you fall in love with this game and or even just like it makes sure to tell your friends even if they don't play VR!

A wonderful game. While the building/scripting tools have a bit of a learning curve, the creative potential is nearly limitless.

This is like 2012 Roblox where you have to build the game while VRChat is like modern Roblox no building involved unless you want.
Extremely underrated. You can literally make anything in this game.
So a bit of backstory before I get into this review, I'm not a VRchat player, infact I actually came in from another VR sandbox game, which gave me a bit of an advantage when learning the mechanics of anyland since I'm already used to building stuff in VR anyways, suffice to say, Anyland conceptually is pretty neat, it feels a lot like a hybrid of Neos and Rec room, but without the ability to import, which would sound like a major flaw, but in this case seems like a massive strength since it encourages creating stuff from scratch, I will say the controls are slightly unintuitive to get used to and can even be a bit of an annoyance if you're new, but you get used to them quickly so it's only 10 minutes of fustration at most, My only real complaint at this point is the lack of skeletal finger tracking or vive tracker support, which the latter would make perfect sense for anyland considering that there are body spheres you can snap objects to, thankfully you can get information into anyland from external sources though and there is scripting so with a bit of some hacky website implementation magic you might be able to do something, I also think gizmo based editing should be a thing for precision reasons, if it is a thing I definitely didn't find it...
TLDR: Conceptually it's good, excecution is also pretty nice, just needs a bit more polish in certain places, simplicity is definitely anyland's biggest strength, probably won't be my primary social platform, but I'll lurk around occasionally.
EDIT: So there's a modding community, and there's a mod that adds lots of body tells, suffice to say, I'm probably the only person in anyland with index controller finger tracking.

This game is criminally underrated and underplayed. The creative tools and easy to understand scripting engine really lets you create anything on the fly. The most impressive thing about this game to me was how easy it was to play with friends and collaborate on something.
The active player base is extremely small, but don't let that stop you from trying this FREE game. If i'm being completely honest, this game should cost money for how impressive, in-depth, intuitive, and user friendly it actually is. After a few hours of exploring the tools, you'll realize just how much you're capable of.
This is basically the best VR over all game. You can do anything if you put the time in.
You can create just about anything you can imagine. It's good for creating visual things, like stories, or simple games, but it's not like Unity or Unreal Engine in VR.
Anyland is a phenomenally addictive experience driven by community, ingenuity and creativity.
Beyond a few mechanical and design-related boundaries, the potential for this game is astronomical. You can do anything. You can be anything. You can make anything. You can go anywhere. I would closely relate the social, exploratory and creative experiences of this game to a relatively safer-for-work version of the game Second Life.
Animation, Programming, Web Design, Interior Decorating, Architecture, Art Design... this game has its own representation of tools which allow you to do all of these things and more in some form, and in most cases, in harmony with each-other. The potential for creative outlet in this game is constrained only by engine and design mechanics and I would even go as far as calling it outright therapeutic. Though the constraints with engine mechanics vary in number and severity - some even presenting a considerable barrier in some cases - the constraints with design mechanics are deliberately and ingeniously left bare and skeletal.
Just as an example, the developer released an avatar anchor-point feature called "Legs" (which were supposed to represent your character's legs). Approximately 30 minutes later, the denizens of the community were using these attachment points for things like clown cars they appeared to ride in, wings, portable tools and pets such as shoulder angels. The LEG now stands for "Literally Everything Goes" and it's great.
Every player can create their own area and customize it to their absolute will with the in-game tools. It can be made comfortable and relaxing, useful and productive, atmospheric and emotional, terrifying and challenging - literally whatever you want it to be. You can help others work on their areas or projects. You can design gadgets, tools, weapons, cosmetics, furniture, examples, trinkets - all kinds of things that other players can make use of and share.
The only qualm I have with this game is that the only current developer of this project earns very little revenue from this project, and instead pays mostly out of pocket (as far as I'm aware) to support the loyal members of its community. As a result of this and other factors such as real-life obligations and project diversification, there is little to no development progress as of late.
Understandably so, but in my opinion the development of this product is beginning to become more and more urgent. This game is a monolith. It could be now, and might still become, a staple of VR gaming for all time. I've never personally felt more anxiety for an indie project or its developer before. This idea has nearly limitless potential. I am confident that if the dev doesn't pick this idea back up asap and monetize it, someone else eventually will - and that terrifies me.
This game has been shown a lot of love, and if it keeps getting that love it will become an absolute jewel; even more-so than it is already. With a little more elbow grease and perhaps some extra help from the Anyland family when it comes to doing the heavy lifting, in a year or two this game would EASILY become a monthly subscription that I would have marked down in my budget as "essential" - and I don't think I've ever felt that way about a game before.
It's a fun game where the only limit is your imagination. You could build whatever you want as long as you know how to, there is virtually no limit to the creativity. There is a supportive community and if you ever need advice or information on the mechanics or how to code things, you can always ask; Rusty, Scrap, and Sleeves are great people for help on things from my experience.

Anyland is "the one" that has what most other social VR software/games don't have: interactive collaborative experiences that don't divorce themselves from the social element by having building and creating being a separate component dependent on other software. Compared to other alternatives, its "steep learning curve" is simple and intuitive with minimal interaction, and the the social structure being present during the learning and creative processes creates a naturally organic community interested in teaching and sharing their experiences with one another. You pop in and you have everything you need at your disposal: what you do with it, is up to you--and inherently becomes who and what you are to others. Being able to carve out and share your identity and creativity from nothing, whole-cloth, is a one-of-a-kind experience. There is nothing else like it.

Update 5/2/22: I've been playing Anyland for a little less than two years now, and for almost 1300 hours. I've seen brilliant players come and go. I've seen it pick up some steam, and then take a dip again. It is causing me serious, serious pain to see such an amazing program with amazing content and a once tight-knit community deteriorate and decay.
This is not a negative review; on the contrary, this is my call to action, asking you to give Anyland a chance. A social game without a player-base is never going to seem very appealing, but without you, there will never be a player-base. Try it, find what you like. Either way, Anyland needs you, and I'm willing to stand behind it as long as it continues to exist.

You really do just plop in there.
Nothing around and you start... poking things and they come alive.
I didnt take any tutorials or videos, just fired it up and had a clue from the reviews.
Ended up teleporting to an empty under construction 'night club' pressed a fw buttons and had a playlist going.. jammed a few more and a light show started, hit the big red button labeled 'work in progress' and the whole dj platform rose into the sky and gave me more buttons at the top.

A very good VR game for people starting out in VR very friendly community and a simple building system!
Its an amazing sandbox where you can make anything you can imagine.
Anyland allows me to create & explore worlds in VR. There's nothing else like it at this time. Unlike Minecraft in VR, I can be very detailed with my creations, I'm not limited in theme to medieval, and I can script my creations to be somewhat functional and interactive. The UI can be somewhat clunky, but it's quite usable and, again, there is nothing else like it at this time. For me, it's a dream come true.
This is probably one of my favorite VR games. If you are into scripting or lite coding and are creative you'll love the game. But! It goes deeper than that. You don't need to be interested in coding or animating. At this point so many people have created objects that anyone can summon at any time. Want a sword? Boom, dozens of swords at your fingertips. Want a lamp? bed? wearable demon mask? But if you want to make your own stuff, the sky is the limit! When you first start there is a steep learning curve and you'll feel like a caveman. When you learn to pull already created objects and visit worlds, you will feel like a wizard. When you learn to script and make your own stuff, youll feel like a god. (disclaimer: am far from feeling like a god)

This game got a lot of positive reviews.
I don't get it. There are a dozen low quality VR spaces that could be explored, but quality was just too low to keep me exploring. It's basically just random objects put together in VR...
I had a lot of fun playing this game, the only annoyance was the controller tracking. But I also have a cosmos so that kind of expected. Overall the communities great, the building system is a lot of fun and is constantly getting updates, and its just blast going around and seeing all the cool things people are making. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who love creating things... aka almost every minecrafter ever.

A bit of support for importing models would be a must for this game to go well. obj uploading. Can you imagine what could be written and done?
A bit more options to tune factors like run speed, and a more "creative" mode esque ability to fly around and speeds you choose could turn this into one of the greatest Vr White Boards of all time.
I might even host a Rp session of warhammer 40k Rogue trader utilizing software like this.;..
However it wouldn't be from a first person implementation , but rather that we are the overveiwers to what is happening in a world.
This is basically "THE" white board, it is boundless in creativity however it has some core unchangeable principles that need more access for adjustment.
Most of them doing with the "actor" aka "You" in the world, and the various parameters that constrain like movement speed or flying.
Focusing on design and access or elements that allow this and are readily accessible inturn would be the greatest thing to bring to the table at this point. Perhaps I haven't found someones scripts that do these very things, but in this there is a bit of a problem to note in this case!
Another thing to fix? Searchable worlds is great, however community rating is better! You must have a voting system. You must have tags you put into the world when you make it. You must have more than just collections but sorting to these collections within your own UI.
Polishing the UI's core features, and bringing into better repersentation and design will be the key to success.
There is potential here, so realized and so untapped the base being as solid as it is it can handle layers of design.
Yet don't loose sight of the Core. The "Anything".
Best vr game up to date
Absolutely amazing. The possibilities that this game brings forth are almost infinite. I have never been so on board with a vr game from the getgo. I love seeing all the amazing creations other people make, and I try to make stuff myself. The community is amazing and it is an amazing experience all around.
Though recently I have not been playing it for a few reasons...
The learning curve is VERY steep. The reason this game is so good is also why a lot of people don't stay: it's complexity.
It's a shame more people don't play it and instead opt for vrchat.
