Das ist wirklich eine gute Idee, aber leider echt richtig schlecht umgesetzt, das erste LVL schafft man nicht floorless, da man auch nichts erklärt bekommt.
Die Kühe sind das Schlimmste, man kann sie auch nur mit einem Schlag von oben töten.
Für 0,99 gekauft, aber auch das war zu viel.
Geht zurück.

反射神経系のアクションは苦手ですが、3時間ほどでクリア。
様々な敵に対する攻略方法を考える時間が楽しかった。
得意とする人は慣れてくると、物足りなさをもしかしたら感じるかも。
メインメニューはエンターキーで進めます。
キーボードは攻撃と防御のボタンが分かれていますが、
パッドはRトリガー押しながら攻撃ボタンで防御なので、少しやりづらさを感じました。
茶色いおじさんが最強です。

A Bastard's Tale teaches you a valuable lesson about anger. The game has a weird control scheme (and control feel), but it works exactly as intended, and you have only yourself to blame for very thing that goes wrong. Each time you fail, you're learning the enemies patterns, timing, strategies against them, and what each animation means. Every situation in this game has an answer, and I think thats beautiful. It might seem like I'm exaggerating, or meming, but Im being completely honest when I say that this changed the way I see gaming when it comes to anger. When I died right at the end of a stage, I didn't want to rage, just to improve. And learning this lesson has improved my experience with other games, especially fighting games. Play this game, and play it for your own sake.
This'd been the kind of game I'd of loved as a kid. Walk through a level, sword fight, repeat. Great animation, really simple combat but effective and fun.
На клаве играть не совсем удобно, особенно с 1 босом, не понятно с какой стороны он атакует.. с права или лева... из-за похожей анимации парировать не всегда удается, только верхние атаки можно блочить ибо анимация понятная. ( так же игра не видит неоригинальные джостики от Xbox 360 )
Whoever made level 3 deserves to have their balls cut off with a plastic spoon.
You can easily beat this in about an hour. But its levels are pretty. The combat is also fairly fun. Two main complaints. It can be kind of hard to tell a left swing from a right swing, and the ranged enemies are VERY boring to fight. But I think that's somewhat by design. If you enjoy a little challenge to kill some time, I'd throw a few dollars this games way.

도트그래픽인데 게임에 대한 애정이 없었는지 적의 움직임이 뚝뚝 끊기는데다가 준비동작과 공격 사이 도트가 없어 상대 칼이 순간이동해서 날 때림 마지막 스테이지는 버그도있어서 안그래도 네다섯번맞으면 죽는게임인데 데미지가 두배가 되거나 공속이 평소보다 빨라지거나 해서 어이없게 쳐맞기도하고 공략법이 한걸음 - 평타 - 한걸음걷기 - 평타X10번 반복 이따구인 플탐늘리기용 잡몹도 있음 10년전 게임이라 그런거라고하기엔 그시절 재밌는게임이 너무많다

Sehr cooles Skillcheck Game - in einem 2D-Sidescroller parriermechaniken einzubauen die 2,5D sind bedeutet wir müssen von mindestens von beiden Seiten sowie von oben Angriffe erteilen und parrieren/blocken. Dabei kündigen die Gegner durch verschiedene Haltungen der Waffen an von wo sie etwa angreifen werden und es gibt diverse Skillchecks ob erlentes angewendet werden kann. Das Spiel hat eine steile Lernkurve, aber es fühlt wirklich gut an, den nächsten abschnitt zu erreichen. Grafik und Musik top und an sich fühlt sich das Spiel auch fair an. Tatsächlich weiß ich nciht wie viel inhalt geboten wird, aber je nachdem wie gut man sich anstellt kommt man auch schneller voran oder eben nicht. Wir kamen nach ca. 30 Minuten bis zum Ende des 3. Levels der Wüste und es gibt noch mindestens ein Level danach, hoffentlich aber auch noch mehr, sonst fände es ich persönlich etwas kurz. Besonders gut gefallen hat mir dieser 80's fantasy Nostalgie Faktor!

ごり押しではクリアできない絶妙な難易度
各ステージの途中で中間が存在しないため、
難易度は少し高い気もします。
終盤で負けてしまい。「あ”~~~~」とか言ってコントローラーを投げる人もいるかもしれません
しかし、このゲームを乗り越えクリアした暁には、自身の格が1つ上がっているかもしれません。
難易度は高いと言いつつ頑張ればクリアできるレベルなので是非挑戦してみてほしい

Llegué al juego atraído por sus gráficos y su precio pero es extremadamente difícil y corto. 5 horas para sacar los cromos y encima los otros valen casi tanto como el juego en oferta. Si te despierta curiosidad, mírate el walkthrough de 15 minutos que hay en Youtube y no pierdas más tiempo con esta basura.
Bom jogo, É bem curtinho e dependendo de quão bom tu é ele pode ser terminado em 2 horas ou menos.
O jogo é difícil, mas após aprender a defender e dar parry na hora certa é moleza. Uma coisa que me irritou foi o inimigo com a cabeça de pássaro no terceiro cenário ter a cor da espada cinza e o fundo do cenário também ser cinza e por causa disso ser quase impossível de distinguir pra qual lado ele ataca. Em suma, o jogo vale a pena ser comprado em uma promoção ou até mesmo no preço base. Recomendo.

This game does some things I love and some things I absolutely hate. Though I understand that this is a retro inspired game that is almost a decade old itself and had a small development it definitely has some flaws.
Firstly the pixelart is pretty good, especially the "cut scenes" or still images! One problem I have is that some of the enemy sprites have clear readability issues, which for a game like this is frustrating and also can look out of place and not cohesive visually to one another -some sprites look very good, some not as much, though all in all its clear a lot of effort went into making them.
Now the mechanics, again, have a really cool catch with the 3-directional attacks and parry. I did play this on a keyboard but regardless, I feel like the system is under utilised and under cooked. That's a big problem with this game in general - and that is that it feels like it needed a lot more polish, as the idea itself is very solid and cool, but it ends up with some really cool bits and fights and quite a few tedious, clunky, bordering on obnoxious fights.
I think I ripped enough into an obscure, near decade old, indie game but it's a shame because it had a lot of potential that I feel wasn't exactly achieved. I'd still recommend it since it has net features and pretty art; plus, I think for any game devs that want to make games in this style it has a lot of good examples on what to do that works and also what doesn't really work.
Get the demo. If you like it and you can buy the full game on sale get it. Why on sale? It is a nice game but to be fair it feels like a realy good browser game and it is very short. I finished NG+ in 3 h.

if you ever played karateka this game is kinda like this but with medieval sword fighting is tough as heck but it can be fun if you like this kind of games it have a story mode with quite some levels ng mode and some endless mode to see how much you reach so you have pretty good ammount of content

driven out의 전작으로서 상, 좌, 우 공격 및 가드가 있는 게임인데 그래픽이 안좋고 도트이기도 해서 처음에는 좌우 공격 구분이 안된다. 그래서 맞아야 깨닫는다. 제작사도 이러한 문제점을 알아서 driven out에서는 상좌우 대신 상중하로 바뀌었지 싶다.
노한글에 난이도도 꽤 있어서 이런류 찍먹이라도 해보자 하면 후회하기 딱 좋은 게임이기에 데모 플레이 후 충분이 고민하고 살 것.
업적 다 깰려면 무한모드 107킬이랑, 다시 첨부터 하는 NG, NG+를 클리어 해야 모든 업적이 다 깨진다.

Помню давно, ещё в 2019 году, купил эту игру, и в тот же день запросил возврат средств. То что я сейчас напишу, будут мои воспоминания, они не факт что будут являться абсолютно точными (как никак, уже 4 года прошло).
Враги чудовищно быстрые , управление настолько отвратительно и игра настолько нечестная, что это пожалуй, самая издевательская игра на моей памяти, сравниться с ней может только ***данго. Убивают тебя очень быстро, нет никакой возможности ответить на удары. В топку эту игру, даже самым закоренелым мазохистам она вряд ли понравится

Overall, I don't recommend it because it's simply a frustrating experience that doesn't respect your time — learning the enemies' telegraphed attacks is a burden and the bosses are even more exhausting and grueling as you are forced to grind through the levels over and over again just to have a singular chance at facing them.
I also found that it wasn't very satisfying, nor did I experience any real sense of accomplishment, when I did finally defeat a new enemy type for the first time. Instead, I had more of a sense of relief that it was over which was soon dashed and replaced with a sense of dread when I died to the next new enemy type and was faced with the prospect of having to do the entire level all over again just to get back to where I was in order to learn the visual cues of the new enemy.
That aside, the sprites aren't animated very well but some of the backgrounds are surprisingly pleasing to look at, the music is unexpectedly good but forgettable, the story is compelling and very minimalistic in nature so it's left entirely up to your interpretation, and the controls are unintuitive in general.

The game has 12 achievements which artificially inflate the playtime of the game as you must finish it three times, each time slightly more difficult, and reach a certain number of kills in the endless mode. I recommend avoiding this game altogether unless you're a glutton for punishment or just relish in cruel games.

The gameplay employs a unique and novel combat system that revolves around you and your enemies being able to block and attack in three directions: to your left side, above you, and to your right side. As a result, the combat hinges on you reacting to the visual cues telegraphed by your enemy in order to block and then counter-attack during their recovery time or after they've finished their attack pattern. Despite the 2D view, most attacks are well-telegraphed and it is obvious which side to block but there are some unfair exceptions in which some enemies and bosses' attacks are either so fast or their telegraphing is so similar to another attack that it's nearly impossible to differentiate while reacting to them.
All of the above considered, this results in a very slow and deliberate gameplay loop that quickly becomes exceedingly repetitive, stale, and bland, especially when you learn the visual cues of the regular enemies and have no trouble with them. Following that, it just becomes a wearying task of getting through the same levels and enemies just to get to the boss in order to learn their visual cues. Frankly, the game just doesn't respect your time.
The attacks themselves also look and feel flaccid and underwhelming: they don't look spectacular and don't feel like they have any weight to them, although this is probably due to the less than stellar animations that the game uses as well as a limitation of the 2D view. Furthermore, this is egregiously exacerbated later on when unarmored enemies take multiple hits to kill which makes you feel like you're wielding a Wiffle bat (a plastic baseball bat) rather than an actual bastard sword.
The game has two modes: a campaign mode and an endless mode. In the campaign mode, you progress through five levels and five bosses to finish the game and can choose to continue the file using a "New Game Plus" feature up to two more times. Each iteration of New Game Plus very slightly increases the enemies' reaction times and awards you with a modified title screen upon completion. Throughout each level, you encounter a variety of unique enemies but the game starts recycling enemy types during the last two levels and makes them stronger and faster. In the endless mode, your goal is to defeat as many enemies as possible without dying. After 10 kills, you proceed to the next level (looping after the fifth) and encounter certain enemies based on your kill count.

The graphics exclusively use pixel art but the character sprites don't look very good; however, this is more than likely due to the poor animations rather than the pixel art itself (although the main character looks particularly atrocious, especially their walking animation). That being said, the backgrounds look fantastic, are quite immersive, and are rife with little details to discover.

The soundtrack is composed of surprisingly good medieval-style music that is fitting and serves as good background noise but is ultimately forgettable. Meanwhile, the sound effects are hit-or-miss: some are resounding and accurate while others are completely unsuitable and pitiful since they don't match what they would sound like in real life — the worst example being when you hit certain unarmored enemies with your bastard sword because it sounds more like a friendly "bop" rather than the slicing of flesh.

The story is distinctly minimalistic and is explained entirely through a still-image with no text after the completion of each of the five levels. What's more fascinating is that these still-images resemble propaganda posters which is especially interesting because it could mean that [spoiler]the main character is in fact the villain in this story[/spoiler] and I always think that this is an enthralling plot device when used correctly. Ultimately, it's very vague and left up to your interpretation but I think this is one of the few good points of the game.

As far as the controls are concerned, keyboard users must use six separate buttons to attack and block and I found this awkward to get used to — I still pressed the wrong button every once in a while even after over four hours of playing on a keyboard. Controller users are less fortunate as their controls can't be changed at all and the existing ones are somehow even less intuitive by default because you are required to hold down a shoulder button and press one of the attack buttons to block.

This game is honestly a chore and is actually quite similar to the quarter-munching arcade games from over 30 years ago. In fact, I think it would have fit right in and made a lot of money if it were released on an arcade machine back then but I don't think that this formula has aged very well in the intervening decades since arcades were popular.
Many other reviewers liken this game to Dark Souls and call this a 2D version of it but even Dark Souls is more forgiving than this game. Sadly, this game is borderline unfair if you don't have a good reaction speed and it ultimately doesn't respect your time since it requires you to needlessly grind out the same levels over and over just to have a chance at defeating the boss at the end of the level.
If this is your kind of game and this review has only solidified your opinion of it then you should consider waiting for it to go on sale for [u][url=https://steamdb.info/app/371550/]70% off 1.49 USD[/url][/u] which has historically been its average low. But consider yourself warned because I definitely regret purchasing it and inadvertently acquiring the first achievement three years ago as this eventually impelled me to 100% complete it.

Difficile de ne pas faire la redite du trailer en parlant de ce jeu : tout est vrai. Pas de up, pas de pouvoirs en plus, rien, nada si ce n'est une potion qu'on peut ramasser par monde franchi. C'est le désert de la notion de progression de l'avatar, mais justement...
J'ai lvl up. Pas mon personnage, moi. Longtemps, on croit qu'on ne va pas passer tel PNJ, tel boss, tel niveau, mais si. On s'habitude, on s'adapte, on va de plus en plus vite. On ne frappe plus les touches des contres, on contre juste en voyant le coup arriver. Le personnage devient peu à peu une extension de soi, comme ce levier de vitesse et cette pédale d'embrayage auxquels on ne pense plus : on change de vitesse et voilà. C'est la même chose.
C'est mon niveau de compétence plutôt que mon personnage qui a pris un up, et pas qu'une fois. On en vient à se dire que tout est possible, même lorsque le boss final frappe et pare plus vite que notre propre avatar ! Et ça passe !
Frustrant, limité, mais jouissif. Comme beaucoup de jeux indé, A Bastard' Tale propose une expérience unique et vraiment ludique, pour peu que vous aimiez cracher du sang.

サイドビューのACTなのに、何を考えたのか上段・手前・奥(上・中・下ではない)の3択の攻撃と防御を駆使してタイマンで相手を倒していく流れになり、この狂った仕様が最大の特徴になります。
想像すれば何となくわかると思うのですが、手前攻撃と奥攻撃の予備動作が非常に分かりづらく、防御の難易度は高めです。
これってシンプルに考えると理不尽にダメージを受けまくるのでク〇ゲー認定やむなしなのですが、何回かやってみると意外とガチ防御に頼る場面は少なく、大体は攻略で切り抜けることが出来ます。
つまり開発者はあえてそういった部分を残し、それを前提に調整している訳で、この理不尽さを笑って楽しめるかが分かれ目になるでしょう。(私の基準ですと差し引きで小さなプラスとしています。)
かようにアクション部分は賛否(否が9割くらい?)ありそうですが、グラフィックはキャラ・背景・演出総じて優れており、少なくともこの点では客観的にも高水準であると言えます。

めちゃくちゃ面白かった!
多くの指摘があるように左右の攻撃の見分けが難しいけれど2,3回やれば目が慣れてきて、個人的にはそこまで気になりませんでした。
レベル上げとかもないので正面からぶつかって覚えていくタイプだけど、難しすぎず、かといって慣れても気を抜けばやられるいい塩梅だと思います。

敵の動作を見て押すボタンを決める必要があるので画面が小さいと敵の動作が分かりづらくクリアが難しいかもしれません。最初はウィンドウモードでプレイしていましたが敵の動作が良く分からず苦戦していました。全画面モードに変更したら見やすくなりクリアすることができました。
死んで覚えるゲームだと思うので多少の忍耐が必要かもしれません。

This game is intense. It's like a bullet-hell without the bullets (most of the time). If you are looking for a game to test your reflexes and temperament I can't recommend this game enough. If you are looking for a game that is safe to play with your heart condition I still recommend it, but play at your own risk.

I should probably mention right off the bat that “frustration” games are not my thing. Anything that relies on cruel difficulty or archaic control schemes or cheap one-shots are beyond annoying in my mind. Usually I do my best to avoid them.
However, this game touted pure skill to play and dark souls-esque combat. Being a fan of that series, I decided to give this game a try, and low and behold… it’s not really a “frustration” game. It’s surprisingly fair, but it still does have several flaws which can turn off even a veteran player.

Overall the game is fun and has a solid difficulty curve to it. However, the predominant issue that prevents me from recommending it is the sprite reading required. For most enemies it’s very easy to determine which direction their attack is coming in (and for some there are some creative tells, such as the crow enemy from the third level). However, there are a handful (such as the black knight and the bo master) where it’s extremely difficult to determine which way the attack is coming from. And because this sprite reading is extra difficult and the defending windows are very tight, there’s a lot of misread attacks which result in quick death.
If some of these sprites were to be tuned, I would gladly return and complete the game. But in its current state (which I fear will never be altered), I cannot recommend this game unless you’re patient enough to decipher the attacks through sheer trial and error.

Buen juego, tiene una idea original y es desafiante pero repito, no vale su precio... a lo mejor si fuera mas largo y menos repetitivo estaría OK.
Ah y lo único que le da "horas" de vida al juego son sus logros, específicamente los del EndlessMode porque los otros son fáciles y el StoryMode te lo pasas en 2 segundos, tiene solo 5 niveles y encima te pide pasártelo 3 veces y aun así no dura tanto el juego.

Купил игру просто потому, что увидел здесь бои на мечах, да ещё и с полноценными блока в 3 стороны и перекатами. Мммммммм.
Игра в неё первые 2 часа я не мог не заметить, как же сложно вовремя среагировать и не запутаться в постановке блока(это будет ваше первое и серьёзное препятствие). Но после прохождения 2-ух уровней вы сможете ловко и уверенно защищаться от простых ударов в 3 стороны, ведь дальше враги будут бить точно также с небольшими изменениями.
Достаточно разнообразные враги будут вам попадаться, лишь немного корректируя своё поведение в бою.
Прошёл я её быстро, всего за 4 часика. Но эти часики растягиваются, а игра то всего на 30 минут, при условии реакции, как у мангуста.
Цель игры: дойти от точки А до точки B, попутно убивая всех, кто стоит у нас на пути. Так проходятся все уровни.
Gameplay: Дуэли 1VS1 с разными типами врагов. Нужно найти особый подход, чтобы убить враг. Я насчитал около 15 таких разнообразных врагов, также на каждом уровне где то на середине вам дадут флакон с хилкой.
Игра не даёт никакого обучения или советов. Я сам путём захода в настройки управления увидел, что могу уклоняться и то на какие кнопки жать, чтобы бить и ставить блок. Это минус.
Музыка подобрана ОЧЕНЬ ХОРОШО. Для каждого уровня своё музыкальное сопровождение.
Графика - приятная и самое главное, понятная. Даже задники не раздражают. (в том плане, что понятно, что нам там хотели показать).
Стоит также понять, что игра сложная. А на одном уровне больше половины из игроков просто сдались. Если не любите хардкор, стоит воздержаться от покупки. Ну или взять по скидке, чтобы жалко не было, что вы потратили на это деньги.
Здесь по мимо основной сюжетной игры есть режим выживания.
Рекомендую эту игру потому в нечто подобное могли не играть и получить новый игровой опыт, в меру хардкорно, классный и простой Gameplay.Даб-Даб
И мой совет: После того как вас убили уже в 10 с чем-то раз, и вы не можете пройти дальше, просто закройте игру и идите отдохните. На следующий день у вас должно всё получиться. (лично у меня было так).
Дальше читать нет смысла я подмечаю всякие мелочи:
-В главном меню при нажатие на пустое поле левой кнопкой мыши разрешение экрана свернётся в оконное.
-После каждой вашей смерти, Задники меняются.
-То, с какого замах ты убьёшь врага, будет зависеть в какую сторону он ляжет. Пример: с левого замаха, враг падает на право, а ударив сверху, он упадёт к тебе в ноги лицом вниз. Круто СДЕЛАЛИ!
-Тут я заметил, что хоть по факту игра была во весь экран(по настройкам), но весь экран ограничивается 2-мя горизонтальными Чёрными полосами сверху и снизу(Нечто подобное, помню, было в Enter the Gungeon, там и вовсе был квадрат). Зачем так делать? Наверное для удобства...

모르면 맞아야지 식의 적이 나오곤 하는데 하다보면 알게된다.
적과의 거리가 가까울 경우 적이 공격을 두 배 정도 빠르게 휘두르던데 버그인지 의도인지 모르겠다.
恶心的操作,一点不爽快,需要熟悉每个敌人的攻击招数使用决定是格挡还是攻击。

사실 적의 공격 패턴을 간파하여 클리어하는 것보다는 적의 공격 모션이 잘 안보여서 적의 공격이 어떻게 생겼는지 간파하는 게임에 가깝습니다.
어떻게 보면 이러한 게임의 시스템이 플레이어에게 있어서 비합리적이고 불친절하다고 생각될 수도 있고, 이와 같은 이유로 많은 분들이 포기할 것 같습니다.
하지만 이러한 비합리적인 요소가 선을 넘을 듯 말 듯 줄타기를 해서 은근 오기가 생겼고 저에게 이 오기는 동기가 되어 결국, 이 게임이 주는 묘한 성취감을 느낄 수 있었습니다.
그렇지만 적마다 난이도가 천차만별인 것에 반해 어려운 난이도의 적에게 죽을 때마다 스테이지의 처음 구간으로 가서 난이도가 비교적 쉬운 적을 계속해서 만나는 점에서 지루함을 느끼고 결국 게임을 중도 포기하게 되었네요.
