아무튼 게임 초보자로서, 1번 죽으면 처음부터 다시 시작해야지, 옷장에 숨어도 귀신이 찾아내지, 화면이 흔들려서 도망가기도 힘들고, 인벤토리는 4개밖에 안돼, 억까 퍼즐들로 인해 너무나도 불친절하기 그지 없는 게임이었음.

Even with the bugs this is my favorite chillas art game because of the frantic and engaging gameplay loop and I hope they make another one like it eventually. Aka Manto is great too.
she has the abilty to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crash my game. I was tryna leave and before i could press quit she crashed my shi. she is a hacker. she needs to stop spamming the spit.

"Yuki Onna" is based on Japanese folklore, and we get to learn about her backstory by collecting ice crystals around the map.
While I enjoy horror games with PS1-like visuals, this one has some small flaws that I have to point out (they aren't a big deal and didn't stop me from enjoying this game, though).
For some odd reason, the keybind controls always reset, even when we enter and leave the building-nothing serious anyway, since the gameplay is very simple, so there are just a few key functions.
The camera's shaking is annoying sometimes. It's okay if it just shakes a little, but the way it shakes in this game looks weird; I even thought it was a glitch at the start.
The objectives aren't quite clear when you begin to play, but you eventually start to understand them once you explore around the map. I recommend you leave the items you find in a room you can remember, since we only have four inventory slots. There's no map menu, but you will eventually memorize where each room is and what's left to be done.
There are no checkpoints, so once you die, you restart the whole game. The game is short either way, and the items always spawn in the same spots, so you should be alright.
The ghost glitched sometimes. She would get stuck in some places, especially when we hide in the kitchen (the room with the furnace) ; she gets stuck there and doesn't leave, so we have to leave the pot and run/hide somewhere else.
You have two endings, so it's up to you if you want to try both. It can be quick to complete.
Collectothon horror... I'm not much for this form of horror game.
Intense Granny-like game. The game is not too long, but it is pretty challenging to avoid Yuki Onna.
Out of the Chilla's Art stuff I have played, I liked this one a lot by comparison. I suck at it, but I found everything to work and run pretty well. Controls were smooth, as was general navigation. It also doesn't do the typical building of tension slowly, I pretty much got thrown to the monster as soon as I entered the house, which was more like a wall of tension as I looked for items I needed.

Pretty ambitious by Chilla's standards, a bit glitchy but well worth giving a play. It can be a little confusing the first couple of runs but after a while you'll know the map like the back of your hand. FYI the jittering isn't a bug, it's a feature XD. The one major bug is sometimes when you come out of a pot it'll still register you being in it so you can move but not drop items, going back in and out of one should fix it.

played this years back and got stuck behind a couch, reached out to developer to fix this so others don't get stuck too, developer ignores.
played again just couple days ago from today and finally beat this game, go figure the bug is still there, so anyone can just get stuck there still to this day.

The game compared to aka manto Is terrible in every aspect but on its own its good.The monster was generic but the sounds it made were creepy especiallty afterwards.The puzzles were hard in the unfair way but managable.The map was bad bcs everything looked similar but in terms of concept it was really good.The MONSTER MECHANCICS WERE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THO.First of all yuki walks really slow so when you hide in the barrel it takes a minute for her to leave.Plus she teleports all the time even if she is chasing you which is unfair bcs while i was being chased after i escaped she appeared in front of me one milesecond after and i had no stamina but i escaped again only for her to do it again for 2 times i a row and when i finnaly i escaped the eyes alarmed her and here we go again.The eyes ARE UNFAIR bcs unlike in aka manto where there was a mask that alarmed the monster and it was one yuki has thousands of those that are impossible to dodge unless they get bugged and they dont notice you.ALSO BIG PROGRAMMING MISTAKE IS THAT THE WALKING IS AS FAST AS THE CROUCHING SO THERE IS NO POINT IN WALKING BCS BY CROUCHING NOT ONLY YOU HAVE THE SAME SPEED YOU ALSO DONT MAKE A SOUND AND YOU MAKE IT HARDER FOR THE EYES TO NOTICE YOU.The graphics are far inferior to aka manto but similar but unforgivable bcs yuki ohna came after aka manto so the artist could put the same graphics.The story was a little better than aka manto.Despite those flaws this game is good but it has no safe room and dying is more painful than aka manto

It's not bad in itself, I'm bad I didn't quite understand some of the riddles xD, I like the story about yui onna, but the game also shows again how you can be happy to be able to save in other games, which makes some games easier and makes such games very difficult. But I like it ^^

i swear this game is mad hard still not winning after 7 hours (of afk) even though i have play a lot of horror games. the eyeball on every area is super annoying, it make us hard to sneak peacefully, still trying to win without any guide just to broke my brain. overall its kinda amusing and nice to play.

칠라즈아트의 방탈출게임식 게임.
요즘 나온 겜하고 다르게 확실히 팀이 만들어지고 초기에 만든 느낌이 많이 난다.
A아이템을 쓰면 B를 얻고
그 B를 갖고 특정 장소에서 쓰면 C를 얻고
그걸로 D를 얻고 E를 얻는 방식이다.
플레이방식은 전혀 다르지만, 약간 옛날 바이오하자드 느낌이 남.
아이템을 쓰면 없어지게 해주면 좋은데,
계속 갖게 하고 처리는 따로 플레이어에게 맡기니 여간 불편한 게 아님.
소지수도 4개로 한정되어 있으니 환장한다.
그런데 가끔 이걸 어디에 써야하는 건지 모를 때가 많음.
그거는 짱구를 조금만 굴려보면 알 수 있겠지만 중요한 건 그게 아니다.
유키온나가 근처에 있을 땐 화면이 흔들리는데
근처에 있는데도 흔들리지 않아서 대처하기 힘들 때가 있음.
그럴 땐 앉아서 발을 보면 되지만 그마저도 단서가 없는데 추격이 시작될 때가 있다.
주인공을 발견하면 무작정 쫓아와서 빔을 쏴대는데
처음엔 엄청 무서웠지만 나중에 가면 되게 웃김ㅋㅋㅋ
적응이 되는줄 알았건만 또 나중에 가면 얼굴이 변하고
주인공을 스쳐지났는데도 굳이 빠른걸음으로 따라와서 추격전이 시작되기도 한다.
개인적으로 바랐던 건,
데미지를 입어도 시간이 지날수록 회복되게끔 했으면 좋았을 것이다.
설녀에게 7번을 맞으면 게임오버가 되는데
한번 맞으면 풀리는 게 아니라 영구적 대미지를 받아서
이걸 해결하려면 구급상자와 같은 회복아이템을 써야한다.
그마저도 한정되어 있다.
시간이 지남에 따라 회복되게 하고 스테미너 아이템을 곳곳에 뿌려뒀으면
억까도 피하고 더 재밌게 할 수 있었을지도 모른다.
특히나 설녀 잘 피하다가 악어에게 실수로 몇 방 맞으면 억울하게 죽는 경우도 있음.
또 설녀에게 들킨 상태에서 항아리에 들어가면 거기 계속 머물기 때문에 거의 사망 확정이다.
대미지도 영구이기 때문에 항아리 안에 들어갈 때까지 맞았다가, 나오면 또 맞아서 죽는다.
그럼에도 불구하고 이 게임은 꽤나 어렵지만서도 은근 할만 하게 만들었다.
여러 억까가 생겨도 공포에 내성이 생기면서 플레이하게 되면 제법 굉장한 수작으로 느껴진다.
도전과제 100%를 하면서 느꼈지만
여전히 3층에 가기 시작하면 몰라보게 급상승하는 난이도는 불합리하다고 봄.
칠라즈아트 게임 초기에 나왔기 때문인지 한글판이 없다.
적재적소에 아이템을 쓰려면 일본어를 알아야 하고
스토리 또한 알려면 읽을 줄 알아야하고 해석도 해야한다.
일본어와 공포게임을 좋아한다면 무조건 추천하고 싶은 게임.
아쉽게도 유튜브에는 플레이한 한국사람이 많이 없다.
스토리도 칠라즈스러운 반전이 있으며 한번 생각하게 만들어주는 묘한 엔딩을 만들었기에
이 게임은 아쉬움보다 여러 요소를 감안해서 좋은 점이 더 많으므로
남에게 추천도 하고 싶고 잘 만들었다고도 봅니다.

По геймплею всё скудно, вы носитесь туда сюда по локации и пытаетесь придумать куда что деть. Есть корзинки в которых вы скрываетесь от монстра, других мест где прятаться нет. Инвентарь на 4 предмета конкретно убивает желание играть в это.

Enjoyed exploring the house, collecting items, and discovering the story of Yuki Onna bit by bit. It's cool to see Japanese folklore adapted into a video game. The graphics help create a very creepy, uncanny atmosphere. Although I ultimately enjoyed the game, it was a frustrating experience as well. I didn't like having to run & hide from the roaming enemy, Yuki Onna, as it was more tedious and annoying than scary. I'd prefer it if the enemy wasn't as relentless, maybe have her be slower or easier to avoid? Also, she would sometimes stay around for extended periods of time when I'd be hiding in the pots, causing me to sit around for way too long or get bored and leave the pot only to get attacked immediately. Seems like a glitch..
Very frustrating and challenging during the first few attempts, this game is an Aka Manto clone. I played for about 4 hours straight and had the feeling that things were slowly falling into place, but it was still a challenge with most likely about 30-40 % to go to win. I suppose the game has two endings and two pathes. Otherwise the flood of items in a permadeath game with only four inventory slots is really annoying. I'll take a little break then try again tomorrow.
The game is recommended for stubborn people who love to figure out a bunch of puzzles in a stressful situation, but be warned. The only times I was killed were due to annoying bugs like getting stuck or having the enemy somehow glitching into the pots in which you can hide. Or you simply don't see a thing when picking up an item in a dark area. In that case, you lose the flash light and get attacked in utter darkness while you have zero chance to run away.
Also it's one of these games that gets even harder as you progress. Yuki Onna gets faster and more aggressive, has more spawn points, eye balls, slime traps etc. Very annoying but I tend to not give up on such games.
What sucks though are bugged achievements. I did a few like eating Ramen etc. and didn't get them. However, I won't complete them anyways because one is saying 'finish without taking damage'. Nope.

the visuals perfectly captured the retro vibe with not bad mechanics but like most horror games it becomes instantly less scary after knowing what the enemies look like but over all a fun game. My only gripe is that the game is way too convolute, took me 6 hours to figure it out but hey i made it. 8/10

They are THE EXACT SAME CONCEPT just in different settings and this one SEEMS EVEN MORE DIFFICULT than Aka Manto.

Yuki is a psycho even worse than Aka.
It's probably worth $4.99 'cause I know it's gonna be very challenging.

A gameplay começa um pouco desafiadora, mas eventualmente você pega o jeito das coisas.
Pra mim, o único fator negativo são os bugs. Há alguns lugares onde você pode acabar ficando preso ( me aconteceu apenas uma vez), e a inteligência dos mobs não é das melhores, mas nada que quebre muito a imersão e diversão no jogo

great potential, bad implementation. stupid ghost ruins everything, shaking camera when the ghost is near but you can't prevent an encounter half the time even if you react fast, 90% is just running away, and waiting for her to go away. thats not fun

Yuki Onna é um game okay se colocar em comparação com os outros que joguei da Chila's Art, quando comecei a jogar ele achei que fosse ser semelhante ao The Bathhouse e não um genérico de terror como Nun Massacre por exemplo " não estou dizendo que esse jogo é ruim ", para mim o que mais ganhou no Yuki Onna foi a estética da ambientação, como sempre a Chilla's Art fazendo obras de arte.
Bugged as hell, I gave Shoji his game console and the achievement didn't show up, the lack of a saving system makes the game frustrating more than hard, considrering that, as other games like Onryo, the game isn't difficult because it's challenging, but because it's buggy. When you hide into the pot most times the entity waits for you to go out so she can kill you. And this means to lose all the progress and start again. If you can't even unlock the achievements (not sure on this, but after dying just after the Shoji one didn't show up made me abandon the game) this game is a total waste of time. AT LEAST ADD A DAMN SAVING SYSTEM, THERE ARE STILL PLAYERS WHO ARE PAYING FOR IT AND PLAYING IT.
7/10 I loved Aka Manto and haven't felt like any game has matched it since from CA but this is it! These are the type of horror games I hope to see more of from CA. Some suspense, some screams some chases, good time. Also, try not to hide in the 1st floor zigzag hallway pot or the 1st floor kitchen pot as you may get stuck in them when she chases you. I recommend trying this one out as well as Aka Manto, the best of CA.

1. Атмосферные игры с историей и без скримеров (или почти без них).
2. Ходилки по какому-то злачному месту с монстрами, которые могут настичь, где нужно прятаться и убегать.
И самым худшим решением во втором случае для меня является ограниченный инвентарь. Тут можно взять всего 4 предмета с собой. Минимумом, который я видел у них - было число 3. Это для того, чтобы растянуть игру, ведь нужно возвращаться, искать где применить предмет, затем возвращаться за новым и т.д. Ладно, если бы просто, так ещё и бдить надо, прятаться. Так что нет.

better than most chilla's arts games in that it is actually a game you play. adventure game-type levels of goofy puzzle logic. would be more enjoyable if the monster couldnt kill you, resetting your progress- shes not very scary so her presence is a hindrance to progress rather than a feature of the horror
Vim jogar esse game através da minha ótima experiencia com o Aka Manto (Jogo desenvolvido pela mesma empresa) e me decepcionei.
O jogo veio após o aka manto, mas é super "repetitivo" principalmente em cenário, sendo tudo corredor preto com um cenário absurdamente grande, que nem de perto tem a mesma "vontade" de explorar como no aka manto.
Além do jump scare bem muxo, SUPER inferior ao aka manto.
Enfim, o jogo não é ruim, só é super meh pra quem jogou aka manto.

Same vibe as Aka Manto, very difficult, very loud, full of jump scares...
Very buggy. Tried to play and got stuck in infinite loops hiding in jars waiting for her to leave. Also got stuck and couldn't move in one of the buildings outside. Sneaking around is inconsistent. That being said, the game has good bones from what I can tell and the atmosphere is on point as always. I'll return to this game eventually but right now, I cannot recommend this to anyone when the rest of their catalog is far better technically. And FAR less frustrating.

But no save mechanism, glitchy gameplay and unpleasent bugs were just so overwhelming...
Fun game. Simple enough. LOUD ENEMY, just like AKA MANTO. Good to scary your younger brother/cousin.
Can get old pretty quickly tho. But the lore was interesting.. Wish there was background soundtrack or game over music lol..
Sometimes, the achievements fails. Be advised. So you might need to replay stuff if you care about that.

While I love Chilla's Art games I didnt really enjoy this one.
The visuals in this are much worse then other Chilla's games. The game warns you about proximity of Yuki Onna by something what was probably supposed to be shaking of camera but it is so badly done that it feels like the controls are glitching. The textures are glitching all the time too.
I am not really fan of chase games and there is lot of chasing in this one. When Yuki Onna starts chasing you, you run away and you can hide in big pots and wait for here to go away. But twice it happened to me that she just woudn't go away. She kept camping the pot I was hiding in for several minutes, until I lost patience exited the pot and died .... and since there is no save system ....
Not recommending this game, look for other Chilla's Art games, they are better.

Karlı hava atmosferi bir yana eve girince de kar fırtınasını duymak içimi hoş ediyordu. Tabii bu hoş hisler oyunda ilerleme katettiğim zaman biraz tersine dönmeye başladı. İlk oynanışım sırasında her şeyi halletmiş bir şekilde oyunu bitirmeye yakınken aniden Yuki Onna tarafından bulunup tek yedim. Bu durumu o kadar sinirim bozuldu ki neyse deyip tekrar başladım ve yeniden oyuna giriştim. İkinci oynanışım da ise iki son içinde lazım olan eşyaları topladım sonra aralarından bir sonu seçip oyunu bitirdim. Yani sonu biraz olsun tatmin etti diyebilirim. Yapımcının diğer oyunları kadar sıkıcı değil o yüzden ilginizi çekiyorsa bir bakın derim.

I got this game in the Chilla's Art game bundle, wanting to play some of their horrorgames. But boy oh boy.. The game looked appealing from the screanshots and I had just played "Ghost train" which was still a quite relaxing horror game, so I started playing this game full of confidence. I lasted 5 minutes.. 5 MINUTES. I just shut off the game, I couldn't take it anymore. It was extremly scary imo. So if you're into being chased with absurdly loud music and a stamina bar (which makes it a lot more worse) this is the game for you. I will probably give it another try later because I really like the whole aesthetic of the game. but yeah, still pretty horrifying
Aka Manto's younger cousin. Yuki Onna's sound design and AI is not nearly as crazy, but just as scary and challenging. It's a lot easier than AM, but anyone who enjoyed that will enjoy this game. Items can seem as nonsensical as AM, and the puzzles are just as fun. I feel the AI is more forgiving here. The reusable items were new and interesting, and I found it fun to come back to items rather than the ton of one-and-dones in AM. Overall, great game.

So far this is an amazing game, the enemy AI is really well made and overall it is not too confusing when playing I would definitely recommend it if you want to get a retro style fun indie game, it is also very good for inspirations on your own game. I love this game studio I would definitely buy more of their games in the future!
Yuki Onna para mim é, por enquanto (até Stay out of the House lançar eu imagino) o melhor jogo desse tipo de Survival Horror disparado. De longe é o que tem mais conteúdo e é o mais bem feito. Ele peca em algumas coisas como inconsistência nos puzzles (por exemplo você ter que pegar uma tábua especifica pra usar sendo que existem centenas espalhadas nos cenários iguaizinhas) ou uns puzzles bem nichados pro público japonês que acabam ficando confuso para nós, mas no geral, eu diria que não tem nenhum defeito que salte aos olhos, e é um grande avanço em relação aos outros jogos da Chilla's Art.
Pra quem se preocupa com dificuldade nesses tipos de jogos, a dificuldade é boa, conforme você avança a Yuki Onna se fortalece, mas ao mesmo tempo você abre mais caminhos e esconderijos para evitar ela, além de ganhar curas então a dificuldade é razoável, apesar de eu ter demorado 13 horas pra zerar e pegar o pior final por que sou burro, um jogador qualquer não deve demorar mais que 3-4 horas no geral e algumas runs para zerar, fora o fator replay que conta com achievements e multíplos finais para rejogar. O mapa é muito bem feito e coeso, a parte sonora é muito boa e cria um clima apesar do constante barulho de vento cansar e os gráficos são excelentes (pra quem curte o estilo PS1).
Na minha opinião, é impossível curtir Nun Massacre, Stay out of the House, Murder House e outros e não jogar Yuki Onna.

It was a very fun game. Less scary and dark than Aka Manto, but still fun. The endings also are a bit confusing but the overall story is great. But what got me really puzzled is what the ♥♥♥♥ a aligator is doing on a such a cold place in the first place.
Really cool game, took a while to figure everything out but I got the escape ending on my 2nd run thru!! Perma death is kinda annoying considering how big the map is and how many things you need to do but I think that really just adds to the tension and fear of death. The monster is extremely easy to run away from and hide, I would presume to make it hard to die thus minimizing rage quitting. The only real complaint I have about this game is that for some reason none of the achievements unlocked for me.

Surprisingly fine little indie game, with crusty old graphics and copious amounts of dithering and other filters. The game-play has you exploring an old abandoned resort and finding objects to use in determined spots while avoiding the main baddie, the infamous Yuki Onna which it's mere presence is enough to make you shiver with cold, alerting you it's nearby, as they usually do in Japanese games she has more than one form and can place more and more advanced traps as the game progresses, there is another enemy that you can encounter, but I rather not spoil it; you also have only one life but regardless it's not a very difficult game, just be careful. There isn't much more to say about the game-play other than it's functional and even fun, it won't surprise you with it's depth, but its not trying either, despite that most of the 'puzzles' make sense, which is good, so no moon logic, it also has two endings, still, I can't see much reason to play it twice, most of the steps to achieve either ending can be done together and only a final choice matters and the endings aren't spectacular either.
The game is very atmospheric though, it uses filters and props really well and make the place feel like a real location, plus despite the story not being anything to write home about, its still fun to pierce together what happened, one big problem is in the sound department, Yuki Onna is mostly silent making very faint noises that can't really be relied upon to be aware of her presence, that is, until she detects upon which she'll start screeching so high that you'll think your ears might bleed, It's possible you'll be more concerned with your ear drums than your life.
tl;dr the game is fine, it's fun, cheap and can entertain you for a couple of hours, if you need your horror fix you can do a lot worse and at this price I'm just happy there is actual game-play for you to sink your teeth in.
Plays like a more forgiving, but also sloppier, version of Aka Manto. You’re basically roaming around a temple in the icy hills, looking for kidnapped children. It pretty much mirrors what you’ve already seen in some way or another. The maze might be a little more varied visually, but it feels very much cut from the same cloth -- hard to navigate and keep straight. But that's part of the puzzle I guess.
I like the setting itself a lot more though.
For me it’s definitely one of those experiences that’s hard to justify the entry point for if you’ve already delved into the previous title to some degree. It’s a pass for me, but not really a thumbs down -- if you can believe that.

Don't get me wrong I had fun playing this game but some of the achievements seem to be broken. I just finished the "escape with the kids" ending but the achievement wasn't unlocked. I may replay this game again to try and complete it, and if it works I'll change my review but as of right now I can't recommend it.
