This is a fun Yu-Gi-Oh sim game. The story mode is tough if you use the story decks but it gives you the option to build and use a custom deck. Overall it is a fun game that lets you use anime decks and soak in the nostalgia of classic Yu-Gi-Oh.

Gâlip ağabeyin yaş günümde hediye ettiği tesbihi ararken sandukanın içinde bulduğum kartlarımdan sonra hatırıma düştü, tekrar girip bir oynayayım dedim. Daha evvelki oyunlarının hiçbirini beğenmemiştim, bunu tuttum. Öykü modu olmasının yanı sıra, hâfızam beni yanıltmıyorsa Jetix'de ''Andy'nin Nesi Var?'' ve ''Tutenstein''dan sonra yayınlanan çizgi dizisiyle paralel gidiyor, benim nazarımda büyük artı. Oynanışı işlevsel, desteleri oldukça zengin, Exodia'da var :). Son derece uzun bir oynanış süresi vaat ediyor, fırsatım olduğunda oynayıp bitirmeyi düşünüyorum. 19 kâğıt edeceğini düşünmemekle birlikte, indirim görürse bilhassa serinin sevenlerinin şans vermelerini öneririm.

"gee whiz, I can't wait to get back home from work and play children's card games while being a grown adult with bills to pay."

Positive points:
- huge collection of cards
- campaign is basically a VN version of all series with battles, and when I mean all series, I mean ALL
- Challenge mode

Negative points:
- game interrupts you all the time when you have a spell/trap card that counters something. This mechanic could be changed for something far more efficient in battles, it sounds ridiculously annoying
- it is a personal opinion, but the lack of a difficulty setting. It adjusts difficulty depending on the user/story deck

I do recommend this game for multiple reasons. I also have a lot of problems with it.

The good:

1) The game make it very easy to jump in despite what history of skill level you have with the game.
2) It teaches you at each level of the game. You may not get every mechanic explained to you, but nothing new happens at a level you can't practice it and learn it yourself.
3) I can very quickly get access to basic cards I personally like to build my own decks.
4) Other than Challenge decks, like they should be, no deck is overly complicated to get past.
5) I'm enjoying the plot points from the different series.

The bad:

1)This game crashes due to some very simple problems that you would think could be easily fixed. For example if you win (and very rarely if you loose) by Exodia's effect there is a good chance of because of the animation. This could be fixed as well as another complaint answered by giving the option to turn off Animations.
2) Too many animations. For not being able to turn them off, the number of Boss Monsters with animations and how long they are gets old fast.
3) You did a fantastic job of making old decks modern and playable and I appreciate that, but I also just want to stomp old crummy decks. If you took the time to make them modern you could have also taken the time to just make them old but viable without bad Anime logic. If you wanted appreciation for it then just add the Achievements for using and for winning with all pre-built decks. Then not only do I figure out how to work those decks but I can just trash them with my own later.
4) My final problem is with the card shop. I can own a max of three cards regardless of the ban/limited list and I'm fine with that. My issue is that I get nothing in return for the extra cards I pull. That has led to the example that I have of the Yugi pack being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Of the 942 cards I can pull I have 938, and of that there is one unique card left. I wouldn't be as upset if I got any DP in return for wasted cards, even if it was 1, 5, 10 for common, uncommon and rare cards so I could at least reinvest, or even for every 100 wasted cards I got a guaranteed unique. Someone will come along and say that 'That's how odds work' and my response is, I'm still playing the game, and enjoying it, just a note.

Overall the game is a lot of fun and as a new or old fan you can probably hop in and have fun in the area you are comfortable with.

Alcuni personaggi della campagna sono imbattibili con il deck della storia o standard, hanno sempre le carte giuste all'inizio, ma dopo che perdi 20 volte di fila magicamente il computer diventa ritardato e fa tutte le mosse sbagliate, finche non vinci, praticamente alla fine ti lascia vincere.

-Option to edit ai decks

-Anime only cards

Things that the most recent single player focused Yu-Gi-Oh game did better:

-Has more cards

Despite this being a minimum effort product by Konami, if you like YGO, this is still a solid option but I would definitely recommend waiting for a discount. This is one of these games that makes lme wish that there was a neutral option for steam reviews.

A must-play for fans of the Yu-Gi-Oh Trading Card game. While some of the NPC opponents' Decks were changed to accommodate the Master Rules latest revision, it doesn't reduce from the experience at all.

War okay und hat ne Weile Spaß gemacht, aber ab "5D's" wird es einfach nur noch lächerlich mit den Effekten der Karten, bzw. der Länge der Züge. Zeigt gut auf, wie ätzend das aktuelle Yugi geworden ist (obwohl das nur ein kleiner Vorgeschmack darauf war...). Traurig! Als Ex-Spieler, sowie Genießer alter Zeiten, kann ich es daher nur bedingt empfehlen.

Puedo decir que éste, tras haberme pasad o la 1ª campaña y la del GX, le pega mil vueltas al Stairway to the Destined Duel, o el WorldWide Edition de GBA, incluídos en el recopilatorio que sacaron el año pasado en Steam. Que por ahora unos 23,99€ está ahora a muy buen precio. Ojalá lo bajen un poco más.

Y este, a 10€ en rebajas, lo tiene todo o mejor del WorldWide Edition al que comencé a jugar hace 20 años. Todos los que hemos tenido que pasar por el WorldWide Edition, lo recordamos como si fuera ayer.
Hasta he comprado el Legacy of The Duelist con sus DLCs por separado para apoyar a Konami.
No todo se trata acerca de lo que le hicieron a Kojima y de cómo se cargaron la saga de Castlevania con sus pachinkos en Japón (Véase: Er**** Vi***ence), y el bombo que hubo con aquél famoso hashtag "#F****nami", del cual Jim Steling se lució en YouTube.

Recomendado, hasta machacando el intro en cada historia puedes prácticamente saltarte los diálogos.

No sé cómo saldrá el siguiente Castlevania Belmont's Curse, ¿las palomitas saldrán buenas, o se acabarán quemando en el microondas? El tiempo dirá. Obviamente no es un SoTN, un Haunted Castle, un Castlevania Rebirth, Rondo of Blood o similares, por supuesto que no.

¿Y los Contra?, han salido buenísimos, todos, menos el Rogue Corps.

je l'ai acheté en promo à 10€ j'avais plusieurs objectifs je voulais me remettre à yu-gi-oh, reprendre certains arcs/histoires que j'avais zapper et par flemme j'avais mis un mod pour débloquer toutes les cartes (pourquoi j'irais jouer à l'histoire si je ne peux pas construire mon deck comme j'en ai envie) et plusieurs deck que l'en m'avait recommandé sont indisponibles (il manque trop de cartes de 2020 à 2025) c'est trop demandé une mise à jour avec les cartes récentes, je demande meme pas pour le multi uniquement pour le mode histoire.

Les histoires sont expédier limite on est sur un visual novel sans animations (uniquement du texte), certaines cartes ont des animations d'autres non quand ça bug pas. Le prix est trop cher meme pour 10€ et apparemment se serait juste une évolution de leur jeu précédent merci konami

The review is more of a 5/10 or a 6/10 but I can't really do that on Steam.
The game itself works fine as is; a single-player Yu-Gi-Oh sim where you can replay a bunch of duels and read along cutscenes while making your own decks or playing with character decks.
But everything else about this game is just so awful. Like early 2000's Japanese website level of awful.
Clunky controls on keyboard that make you spam confirmations, unskippable CGI cutscenes on summoning key monsters that take way too long and look like they were from a game in 2010, not 2016.
You can't easily and quickly check your field/extra deck/graveyard without opening more menus and confirming more buttons. There's no pause mid-duel or timeline shown to more clearly check what happened.
I'm also going to complain about the visuals and music being incredibly outdated as well because even I can mute the game and play my own BGM, I can't change the visuals I'm staring at to actually play the game.
Regardless of all this I still think that the game itself at the most fundamental level is perfectly fine and playable but it is just everything else about it that makes it so awful to work with.
There is a level of indescribable annoyance and tedium that can only be explained by experiencing how clunky a 2010 Japanese website would function, only directly imported into this game.

TLDR; would recommend to new players to the TCG or casual fans of the game/anime, and would rather recommend Master Duel for people more familiar instead. It's genuinely jarring going from experiencing Master Duel into this game.
Bonus points for crashing every single time I exit the game and making me close it from Task Manager.

Most, hogy megláttam, hogy akciós, instant be is szereztem. Eddig a tört verzióval nyomattam.

Azoknak ajánlom, akiknek nincs energiájuk és/vagy idejük (mint nekem) arra, hogy kínkeserves grindokkal kiszenvedjenek magunknak egy metapaklit vagy épp régi kedvenc paklikkal játsszanak, amik a mai metában már nem állják meg a helyüket, de szórakoztatóak, vagy azoknak, akik egyedi megoldásokkal szeretnének kísérletezni. Vagy csak szimplán szeretik a yugioh-t és szeretik gyűjtögetni a lapokat.

Egyszóval casual játékra kiváló ez a game, kényelmesen lehet haladni, van idő átgondolni a lépéseket, nem kell tartani tőle, hogy mire megépítesz egy paklit, kiesik a metából és minden lap elérhető, nincsenek lapok amiket csak mikrotranzakcióval érhetsz el. :)
