This game is what would happen if Sienkiewicz travelled to our time, played one blind playthrough of Detroit: Become Human, thought it pinnacle of modern storytelling, and subsequently tried to make something similar in his shed. With Percival playing in the background.
I love this game.
And people who made it do as well. They learned what did and did not work last time. Then proceeded to patch the weak spots and greatly improve the rest. Its “choose your own adventure game” on PC. Clean and simple. I would hesitate to recommend it to you if it does not sound like your cup of tea.

Such a dark, satisfying game experience. At least a dozen times I felt what the main characters were feeling: hopeless in the face of ever mounting challenges. But my advisor's wisdom, "one step at a time" kept both me and her grace pushing through.
If you want to play through a well-written book in a cruel world, this is the game for you.

My only complaint is similar to the first game - the story doesn't branch enough for my taste. There are a fair number of outcomes that you can change, but the main story beats are locked in. The main story beats are very good, and the payoff is worth it, but if you're looking for control this game ain't it.

I really liked the first game, its UI, its 2d design and just the overall feel, I couldnt really get myself to go far in this game, the UI is not the greatest for the 2.5d type game, I don't really like the 3d graphics impliements unlike the original game where it just looks nice. I am sorry

No geral, o jogo me conquistou bastante. Mesmo com alguns pontos que não me agradaram tanto, a experiência no geral foi muito positiva. O jogo mostra uma evolução clara em relação ao primeiro e continua transmitindo muito bem aquela sensação constante de carregar o peso de governar um reino.

Um dos destaques é o trabalho artístico. No começo estranhei um pouco a mistura entre pixel art e ilustrações mais detalhadas, mas depois de algum tempo fica claro que a combinação funciona muito bem. A ambientação também evoluiu bastante, com uma inspiração ainda mais forte na cultura eslava, tanto nos cenários quanto nas roupas e no design dos personagens. Além disso, elementos de mitologia e folclore aparecem com mais destaque, o que ajuda a enriquecer o mundo do jogo e torna o universo ainda mais interessante. Dá pra perceber que houve um cuidado grande em expandir essa identidade cultural.

A base da gameplay continua sendo lidar com petições na corte e enviar agentes para resolver problemas pelo reino. Cada agente possui habilidades diferentes, o que cria decisões estratégicas interessantes. Porém, durante boa parte da campanha você fica limitado a apenas dois agentes ativos, e como as petições surgem de forma imprevisível, nem sempre é possível planejar perfeitamente quem usar em cada situação. Isso faz com que algumas falhas aconteçam mais por aleatoriedade do que por erro do jogador. Outro ponto que o jogo transmite muito bem é a sensação de escassez de recursos. Dinheiro, influência e suprimentos estão sempre no limite, e um erro pode facilmente gerar um efeito dominó de problemas. Isso reforça a tensão e o peso das decisões, mas também pode tornar alguns momentos bem punitivos. Também senti falta de um pouco mais de personalidade nos peticionários. No primeiro jogo, muitos deles eram personagens específicos com pequenas histórias próprias. Já em Snowfall, várias situações parecem mais procedurais, com eventos que podem se repetir com personagens diferentes.

Mesmo assim, essas críticas não diminuem o quanto eu gostei do jogo. Yes, Your Grace: Snowfall expande o universo do primeiro jogo, melhora a ambientação e mantém aquela tensão constante de tomar decisões difíceis como governante. No fim das contas, é um sucessor digno e facilmente um dos meus indies favoritos até agora.

The first game was better. In this one, I managed to reach the final battle, but the instructions weren't good enough. It doesn't tell you how to use your max resources or save your soldiers. If I’d known map exploration wasn't that important, I would have just saved everything for the end.

honestly excellent game and a 10/10 sequel for me.
yes, your choices matter less than I'd have liked, but overall the story is great and the gameplay is everything I wished it would be in the first game.
the 3d-pixel art graphics look fantastic in my opinion, and the characters are all iconic to the point where I'm reminded of mass effect.
the randomized petitions didn't really add anything since the story is very linear for a game that should be based on previous choices, but that doesn't affect the experience unless you want to replay the game with different choices in which case you can't.
I get what people say about the way the story doesn't really let you decide how story situations end, which is true for the main story (not for the side stories of your agents that function like mass effect 3's loyalty missions), but that has been a thing since the first game.
could it have been done way better? for sure, but for what it's worth I think the story is very good and the characters are very well written.

Impotence, the game

I really liked the first one, so much I was excited to play the sequel. Now that I'm playing it, it feels like torture.

The story is awful. The situations you are presented with are so unrealistic. I was a couple of hours into the game and my only hope of success hinges on a another quest to find a dead lion (third one), and not even for the same character. I was kicked out of my home by bandits, my wife and children are missing and I spend week after week chasing lions!! It's so ridiculous.

And like many others said: it's one tragic thing after another. No matter what you choose. There was a lot of plotting and betrayals in the first game, but this is an abuse. And you are not allowed to do anything about it, you can't react in any way that it would feel natural to react. You just take it and get ready for the next finger up the a$$. You end up disconnecting from the story. What does it matter if I gather this crates of supplies to pay a debt if an enemy far stronger than me occupies my castle, I have no army, no resources or allies. You stop caring abut the obstacles in front of you. It's hard to believe you are playing the role of a king.

Any good thing I could mentions pales in comparison to the number of criticisms I have. I would honestly like to know what happened, how did it turn out like this? If the first one was a 7.5/10 for me, this one is a 3/10 (because a t least the 3D pixel art is nice).

I loved the first game, and the sequel here does a great job following up. The visuals are beautiful and the soundtrack is great. I also personally really enjoyed the changes to the gameplay from the first one, the resource management aspects have really been improved, and I find that it works really well with the plot. You see the desperation and tight situation in the story, and then in the gameplay loop you also feel it, I just remember thinking 'I straight up don't have the resources and time to do everything' which I loved, because plot-wise, you are struggling, you are in a bad position. The game really expanded upon the characters that you interact with often: the royal family and your agents.

Overall I really enjoyed this game, they left it open-ended enough for a third game, which I really hope to hear news of someday.

Unfortunately cannot recommend. Sadly the writing has gotten worse since the first games. Very linear story. The PC character continues to stumble directly into traps and intrigue which was as frustrating as the first game. The best thing about the first game was the decisions made with people seeking your audience, and that mechanic has now been reworked to be even less fun.

This is a game where the writers make things happen to your characters. The mechanical part is fine, it's a fun resource puzzle and the storylets are funny. The main writing however just keeps punching your characters, and succeeding in the mechanics just allows you to progress to more punching. There is no upside, no light at the end of the tunnel. Nothing you do or choose will matter, you will very quickly disengage over the contrived set of catastrophes that just happen to these people and if you persist you will have wasted a few hours of your life solving mediocre puzzles.

Muito melhor do que o primeiro, em gameplay, em história, em mecânicas e nos personagens. A música é muito boa assim como no primeiro, o gráfico ficou bem melhor (no caso dos cenários).
É um jogo que acaba sendo sobre lidar com os problemas e traumas, os personagens tem uma certa profundidade e relevância, além de serem carismáticos.
Porém o jogo se torna muito sobre a rainha e sobre a personalidade dela, sobre a bondade dela e virar uma fúria vista pelos seus oponentes, todos os seus aliados "Agentes Reais" são muito importantes para a história e contribuem significativamente para o desenvolvimento do jogo, oque contribui não só para a Rainha, o Rei e Daverna. Visto que Cedani continua sendo adorável, amável e completamente pateta, e agora possui uma dupla dinâmica, tão adorável e amável e completamente pateta quanto, que é Tymos. Entretanto, Asalia é um grande "?!", a mudança repentina de personalidade e de relacionamento desde o último jogo, mostra o crescimento que ela teve, porém ela se tornou uma adolescente INSUPORTAVEL!
A relevância do principe ultrapassa a da princesa bebê em MUITO, tornando ela uma personagem completamente irrelevante e ignorada na histôria, principalmente quando o jogo trata do trauma do Pai com a Lorsulia, a ponto de eu nem se quer saber o nome dessa princesa...
E por fim, o principal deste jogo, acaba se tornando, obviamente, sobre o casal mais GOATH de todos, que é o Stan e a Alena, completo META. Velek quase tão pateta quando a Cedani e Tymo..

Симулятор стресса, который не придумали, как хорошо закончить, и закончили хоть как-то. По ощущению сценарию просто тесно в рамках визуала.
Варианты ответа не всегда очевидные - или я просто невнимательный, но тут очень легко потерять фокус из-за этих диалогов и системы навигации. Я как-то выбил скрытую концовку (картинка и два слова), но так и не понял, как.
На средней сложности ресурсами управлять легко, почти всегда остается лишняя копеечка.
Было несколько софтлоков и вылетов - неприятно

НО самое главное - играть было интересно

Sadly not nearly as fun as the amazing first game. I'm not even going to finish playing this one. The new game mechanics, simply put, are not fun. While the first game made you feel like you were always tight on cash, you still got a feeling of control, and got rewarded for thinking ahead and using strategy. This one makes you feel like you are constantly getting your head pressed below the surface, constantly drowning whatever you decide or no matter how you plan ahead. There is no way of predicting what type of damage your agents will have to negate the next day, and even if you would know, you probably could not afford buying the items you need in order to protect your agents anyway. The game just doesn't feel very rewarding.

The main storyline is not as engaging and I frequently find myself wishing for the kings death, even though I really liked him in the first game. Sorry, but this one just isn't for me.
