You are Frigg, a young punkish woman who now lives on the Island Elk. An Island with lots of Stuff to discover. Interesting characters with one unique secret. Uncover their stories. From funny to really dark ones and play lots of little mini games.

Very unique and yet pretty charming. It´s fun. Some people might ask: How woke could it be? Actually not very much. There´s a lesbian couple of older women.

So don´t worry about it. Just enjoy the game for what it wants to be. A few stories that really happened somehow and want to be told.

In my personal opinion it´s a game that´s worth paying fullprice but if you see it on a sale you definetely shouldn´t even haste to pack it in your Steam basket. 12 Bucks is a good price for three to four hours of game, a good dozen stories and a recipe of one of the best hot dogs of all time. (Seriously. I´m on a diet right now but i know what i will cook my next cheat day,)

A fun little story with cool ragdoll characters. Definitely leans into its Nordic weirdness.

However, I have it set to just replay Elk Stack over and over again. Love in game card games like this! Are you listening devs? Maybe make it a separate game or something you can choose from the main menu? Maybe it is already and I'm missing something?

Bueno me sorprendió. Es para completarlo en poco tiempo (incluido los logros), es perfecto en su formato audiovisual. Lo que si es más para un público adulto, y no para que se lo compren a un menor esperando que disfruten con coloridos personajes.
Tiene mucho contenido que puede resultar incomodo considerando lo que abarca y en lo que te deja pensando por las historias reales.- Desde lo que es el alcoholismo, violencia, etc. No es gráfico, pero agradezco que haya existido el botón de [spoiler]negarse a sacrificar a palos a un conejo jaja[/spoiler]. Considerado. AH! Interesante el juego y vean de que trata todas las historias en común.

TLDR:
You could ask "is this a game"? The answer would be I think so.
If you like using the wasd and spacebar this game is for you!
Story driven walking sim? Drink Beer! Talk about Death! Guns!
You watch most of the game. Read and walk with occasional mini game.
Fun art, just play it.

I got this in a fanatical bundle. For the price, I really enjoyed it. The art style is funky at times. I see a blanket over what could have been more of a game. The mini games were interesting and certain points pulled me back in right as I was thinking of moving on. It's a simple game that focuses on story telling and filling in the blanks with fun events that don't change progression.

Play it if you like shocking stories with a linear style game that holds your hand for a bit over 3 hours. The story is odd but I like it. I thank the people that shared these stories. It's kind of fun how they interconnected personal experienced into a game that is mainly about drinking beer.

It was an overall well polished game that worked 100% as expected. The one thing I want to know about is if I should call the number in the game haha

It takes a lot for me to say I don't recommend something, but this game has very positive reviews so my little two cents will be a drop in the bucket at best!

I'm the kind of person that likes and appreciates video games for the art that they are. They don't have to be perfect for me to appreciate what they bring to the table as I see it as an expression of the developers creativity through the game. Anyways, all that being said, I was drawn to the game because of the art style, which was very quirky to me. I uninstalled the game after the second or third death and what I can remember as some sort of dream sequence? I don't like when any artform directly breaks the fourth wall. It takes me out of the experience completely. I don't understand the artistic choice for the developers to add those little sequences where they were talking about the game and the reasoning behind certain elements...in the middle of me playing the game? I don't understand that. That could've been in a replay/directors cut or something like Firewatch did. It encourages replayability and it's exclusively for those who actually care for that.

Additionally, I wasn't picking up what they were putting down. It was a little depressing and I just abandoned it all together. I would get my money back, but as this is a small developer I could never. Long story short, don't get fooled by the colors and the whimsical game style. This game is surprisingly heavy. I'm happy a lot of people got to enjoy it even though I didn't. Happy gaming!

Ugly art style and boring gameplay. It tries to do a few things and fails at all of them.

I get that this game is supposed to be deep and emotional but the minigames ruin it. "My wife sing, he's going to kill us" minigame is the epitome of this tone deafness. The only minigame that's enjoyable is the 10 limit minigame and that's probably because they took it from a popular card game.

The emotional parts are dull because they're ruined by the "minigames" and the horrid art style. Again "My wife sing, he's going to kill us" minigame is the best example. I'm sorry (for myself) what do you mean this is how you're going to portray it? Not every story needs to be a game or interactive. I'd have preferred a VN to this.

The artstyle is fugly. The areas are basic and servicable but humans are just horrid. I'm going to 100% this game and never play it again.

I went into this expecting some light-hearted little story game - I was wrong.

It looks colorful and cozy but is actually quite morbid and dark, but a VERY entertaining story that hooked me quite a bit.

I recommend it for exactly that, but not if you are looking for something chill with a silly story.

It's difficult to "NOT recommend" this game, but that's the right things for me to do. I regret I played it.

To be fair I owe it some very well due credits. The music is very good and perfectly fits the story the whole time. The art style is unique and beautiful. Not only the visuals. Also the movement of characters, the dream sequences, the transitions, the message in a bottle items, the interview scenes are perfect... It plays great, it's very easy to get what to do in each sequence. All the mini games are super intuitive and charming...

I finished it the day I started it.

The execution is almost perfect.

But... all the mini games are useless, there is no point in any of them. There is nothing to do right or wrong. Each one of them will pass with or without attempt.

The story is the whole point of this game. But is it enough? Could be. I loved STILL HEROES which is a Bande Dessinee (comic) with even less gamification. I also really like BEFORE YOUR EYES and SAYONARA WILD HEARTS.

The problem here is that there is no way to get out of track. The illusion of free will disappears in 5 min. As the player, we can only do what the games tells us to do at any moment in time. Nothing else. We can sometimes dialogue less, but never more, there is nothing to do other than follow exactly what is asked to do. All doors or objects are shut down, except the only one we are told to open. What is the point then to make it a video game.

If the same world was free to roam in, and discover the story by oneself, it would have been completely different. There is only 1 moment during which there is a choice to make and it has no impact whatsoever on what happens...

Also, I feel like the story/game has a "message", but I am not even sure the authors know what they want it to be...

I am sure the devs can learn from this game a make the next one perfect, where as the player, we play while they tell their stories.

First of all, a word of caution: Welcome to Elk deals with very serious themes such as alcoholism and death, as well as tragic and sorrowful events, though there are also some quirky and humorous moments. So, even if it might not look like it at first glance, this is really a game for adults: sweet in appearance, but heavy in content.

The entire game is built on true stories, either told directly to the developers or in some way part of their lives. Most of the time, you interact with other characters to push the story of Frigg forward, though at its heart, it’s a story about stories, with Frigg as the main character who not only lives her own tale but also collects all the others along the way. On top of that, there are several creatively designed mini-games, which are genuinely varied and entertaining, but nothing groundbreaking. The game can be completed in a relatively short time and apart from one small exception, the achievements are very easy to unlock.

The visual design is deliberately full of contrasts. The cute look stands in stark opposition to the serious themes, and it’s exactly this tension that gets under your skin. It’s not a game that captivates you with gameplay, but with honesty. It doesn’t just aim to entertain, but to move you. And it achieves this in a way that’s rarely experienced. It’s a game that forces you to look. And maybe also to ask yourself which stories you carry with you and who you would share them with.

I also really enjoyed the soundtrack and it’s quite different from what we’re used to in many games. But here, that folk-blues sound with its variety of guitars fits just perfectly, so good that it was the reason I took six times as long to finish the game. The rest of the sound design is solid and works exactly as it should.

Welcome to Elk is a unique game that, even though it’s short, I can wholeheartedly recommend and genuinely encourage many players to experience. The combination of comic-style visuals and serious subject matter creates a powerful emotional impact. Anyone willing to go on this journey will be rewarded with one of the most human experiences this art form has to offer. Once again, a clear recommendation.

Welcome to Elk es basicamente un walking simulator con minijuegos de por medio. Sin duda alguna la parte mas interesante es la relacionada con las historias que nos vamos encontrando a lo largo del juego. La música también es muy buena y aporta un gran peso a los momentos mas emotivos.

La peor parte es la relacionada con los minijuegos, no aportan nada a la historia y son muy flojos, son muy simples y solo hacen alargar el juego de manera artificial.

[i]Welcome to Elk[/i] is a bright and charming game on the surface, but it is not the lighthearted experience I was expecting - perhaps that is my fault. Most of the game is actually quite heavy and I just couldn't get into it. There were a couple situations where I worried the main character would be SA'd, which made me very uncomfortable, as it would lean heavily in that direction ([spoiler]thankfully, no such thing happened[/spoiler]). Another scene I wasn't a fan of, and I'm sure would bother most animal lovers, is where you're forced to [spoiler]k!ll someone's pet rabbit - you can't avoid it and you have to decide how to end the poor creature. I chose the least offensive (?) method of twisting its neck, which it only partially shows, but I don't know how much it would show for the more cruel options.[/spoiler] And for players that might be a bit squeamish, there's a mini game where [spoiler]you have to stitch up a wound that is very zoomed in[/spoiler] - given the art style of the game, this task didn't bother me, but I can imagine some players being uncomfortable regardless. Aside from that, the townsfolk were all problematic in their own ways. A lot of them had tragic or violent backstories and I can't say I really liked any of them. If you're looking for a cozy, feel-good experience, this is not it. The bright side is that it's a very short game, so I did manage to tolerate it enough to finish it, but I wouldn't say that I enjoyed it or would even recommend it.

Well, that was quite an experience! It wasn't what I was expecting; the colourful and cute graphics were a bit deceiving at first, to be honest.
I'm glad it didn't disappoint me at all. I really liked the overall concept of telling a story about very personal stories. Granted, they are devastating. Be emotionally prepared to deal with some harsh topics, although the game manages to find some joy in those experiences.

This is definitely not a game in the traditional sense, even though there are mini games scattered around which are a nice addition and fun enough. I enjoyed it a lot and it will probably stick in my mind for a while.

I feel like this is a wildly under-appreciated narrative game. The animation is endearing and the art style is incredibly effective at portraying the rather bleak world you find yourself in. The story telling is in equal parts heart warming and heart wrenching, dealing with difficult things but always able to find some joy and light-hardheartedness around it. The content warning provided by the developers is accurate and needed, but if you can find a way to sit with the uncomfortableness of it, you will be rewarded.

I strongly recommend this game to anyone with a love of a strong story drive game play.

Ce n'est pas un gros pouce rouge, mais non, au final je peux pas recommander le jeu.
Il n'y a pas vraiment de gameplay. On se déplace d'un point A à un point B pour faire avancer l'histoire.
Le problème vient de l'histoire.
Leeroy fait un bon "vilain" et l'histoire qui tourne autour de lui est pas mal. Cependant, c'est juste une petite partie du jeu. Le reste consiste surtout en anecdotes pas vraiment passionnantes.
Les anecdotes m'ont juste données l'impression d'être des rumeurs de bars. Des histoires de poivrots à qui il arrive des bourdes du à leur ébriété. Mouerf, 5 heures sur des anecdotes de picoles qui ont mal tournées, pas vraiment mon truc.

C'est pas mauvais, juste pas intéressant. Donc un petit pouce rouge mais un pouce rouge quand même.
Bon courage aux développeurs. Ils ont en eux de quoi faire des trucs intéressants mais, pour moi, pas ce coup-ci :/

北欧小岛，让人能够看过踩过下了又融的雪，经历浸泡在啤酒里的人们的许多故事。突然的死亡和既定的死亡，未知的死亡和已知的死亡，可能只有死亡是人生命中最难以习惯和脱敏的课题，游戏有沉重的部分，也有温情着戏谑的部分，我看哭了大概四次吧，都是不知不觉眼泪流出来了，音乐做得真的很棒，能不知不觉又明明白白地牵引情绪。叙事真的太优秀了，题材是日常的，碎片的，但又十分有厚度，时而冰凉，时而温热，而且唉每个故事都会用文本明明白白地告诉你它的现实来源，甚至有4段真人视频clip插入，每一段都很有质感，啊真的很有风味，做得好棒，是静静的，不喧嚣，但能听到说话的声音，大概这种感觉。看完结尾像偶遇了一部体己的电影。

The first disappointment this game gave me was that it was in the Pride humblebundle for the sole reason that there's a background lesbian couple among the cast, unless Frigg's ear gauges, shaved/dyed hair and carpentry is supposed to signal that she's a lesbian too - which would be fantastic - but that's fine. I'd prefer more games than fewer.

The second disappointment was the first death - of course, many people are going to take a smug pride in this, that it has the style of a cosy job simulator but pulls a fast one on those stupid soft Stardew Valley players and gets DARK and talks about SERIOUS TOPICS. But any illusion of that was already shattered back when Frigg got sexually harassed, drunk and then threw up on the ground. No, it was the death and extended cutscene that made me roll my eyes back and go oh right, it's THIS type of game. I am so familiar with THIS type of game that I went to check if there was a chapter select button - which there wasn't, because it's THIS type of game - and to check the guides for the minuscule, extremely easy-to-miss and un-retrackable achievements so that I didn't have to replay it - which of course there were, because it's THIS type of game.

Now, I don't know if this is because I'm Australian and so only know of snow as a mythical concept, [spoiler]but I genuinely can't figure out why they had to carry the dead body to the sled instead of bring the sled to the body. There's an in-game conversation between the developers later that talks about how important it was for Frigg's development to be carrying and staring at the corpse. This confirmed what I had already felt; it was put in to be depressing because the game wants it to be depressing, which for me, automatically makes it not depressing. Everything was structured and forced around the need for this single cutscene where she has to carry a dead person with no consideration for even basic logic, and I very, very suddenly did not give a single **** about the guy who died, or Frigg. My care and empathy for any character plummeted to below zero degrees, now that I knew that the only reason bad things were going to happen to them was because this was The Game Where Bad Things Happen. Are they based on real people and stories? Yeah, and I feel bad for [i]them[/i], but we'll get to that.[/spoiler]

I don't want to make mean assumptions about people who make THIS type of game, but whenever the sad, depressing story game exists and says "this is poignant and meaningful because it is sad" and then has no skips, no chapter select, no fast or even mildly-faster travel, extremely long and silent walks to mull over the depressing and sad thing, no re-traceability of any kind, it feels like they think the story is [i]so[/i] important that it doesn't DESERVE to be skipped, not a single part, if you want the little yellow doll thing then you better go through the ENTIRE game. It may just be an oversight, but that's the result, and the seeming self-importance just makes me take it even less seriously.

The third disappointment was the final story. Or perhaps not so much a disappointment, because my hopes for this game had been well and truly dashed by then. [spoiler]I already knew that these had happened to real people, so I was of course horrified when Beth's husband got shot while she and her daughter watched, waiting for the real person's video afterwards like the other stories. But it wasn't the woman who Beth was based on, nor her daughter - it was some guy who'd [i]spoken to them once in a bar[/i]. It left quite a bitter taste whenever afterwards the stories were referred to as "our" or "their" stories - that was not his story, that was not the developer's story, it was hers. If this was purely fictional and based on it, then fine, but this game in particular absolutely hinges on them being things that actually happened; it's the first sentence in their steam description. They are advertising and profiting from not JUST her story, but the fact that the story is true. Did she ever consent to that? Did she say "yes, you can base a character on me and my daughter, also by the way it's totally fine to make me a prostitute, and make sure the depiction of that other guy who froze to death pays me for sex."[/spoiler]

And so, the fourth and final disappointment is a single line, right at the end. [spoiler]"Sometimes it's just a good story."

What. A. Cop-out.

This confirmed every negative feeling I had throughout the game. The entire time I'm waiting for a point to all this; why these stories in particular, why are they depicted and presented in this way, why did it have to be a video game, why does it take so long to get anywhere, why isn't Frigg allowed to make her beautiful boat, what's with the dreamscape/ghost thing, why are you putting me through this, why do you expect me to care about any of these people - the answer to all of that is "♥♥♥♥ off, it doesn't mean anything". I'm not even saying I would have [i]liked[/i] 'the point', because regularly the 'point' of these sort of things (especially in books) is that everything's dark and depressing because real life is dark and depressing. But you don't even get that. They thought it was a good story. They present that like a fact, as if I couldn't possibly disagree with them, and then make everything unskippable because it's just THAT GOOD. They present it like that's not a hideous thing to do to these random women who watched the most important man in their lives get murdered while they were tied to wooden posts, to say "oh man, that's a GOOD STORY, let me put it in my video game!"

How ironic that Beth says that she doesn't want it to define her, yet that's the only thing about that woman that the developers care for - that she had a "good story".[/spoiler]

比较挑受众的散步模拟器+阅读器。虽然没有中文，但整体英语难度不高，日常对话和剧情都还挺容易理解。
这类带点surrealistic的游戏本身就注定会把很多玩家挡在门外，但个人而言，光是画风就已经足够吸引我继续玩下去了，有点让我想起where's waldo。音乐也是很大的加分项[spoiler] 尤其是搬尸体那里，画面和音乐配合得相当惊艳 [/spoiler]。

总之很喜欢。

This was such a beautiful game. I don't really get why some find this bleak and depressing. Yes. some of the stories are devastating - but there is so much humanity and hopefulness. Nothing matters and that's why everything matters kinda vibe. I might have been on the verge of tears once, most of the time I had a lil smile on my face whilst playing.

It's an odd and captivating story with little game play - the mini games don't really matter but they were all made with care and really fun. I enjoyed this immensely. Will think about this one for a while. Thank you

This game is sort of a mixed bag for me. If you are emotionally prepared for some really intense story topics (sexual assault, murder, death) then you may find this game intriguing. I didn't realize the game would focus so heavily on those topics, and a lot of that is given to how the store page didn't make it obvious it was going to be this type of game. I know that since I bought the game there has been a notification for age put towards it for the topics. But that wasn't present when I bought it.

On a different note, there is moments in the game where literal videos of people speaking on really intense stories is played. From a gameplay perspective this was jarring to experience. I wasn't expecting it and the ending was very mediocre. I understand what the game was going for but it felt like it missed the mark.

I do enjoy the artstyle and the mini games was very easy to pick up on. I just wish the storyline had been more expected and in a more palatable presentation.

I'd still recommend this if you want to experience a really short game that touches on some really serious topics.

Just by looking at the screenshots for this game it might come of as a cosy life sim, or a quirky adventure, nothing could be further from the truth. This is bleak, and depressing, even if it has colorful and cute aesthetics.

You arrive on a island where everyone is either severely alchoholic, miserable af, mentaly unhinged or manically depressed (and sometimes all 4). It's surreal, very depressing, 4th wall breaking, werid and not especially "enjoyable" in the sense that you will have fun to be honest.

But there is something to the nordic miserysploitation in the game. It's definitely feels like a play or drama made by Ingmar Bergman mixed with David Lynch. I'm not sure I would recomend it at full price but i got it in a bundle so I don't regret the time i spent with it.

While at first glance the game is colourful and vivid, the story is actually a heavy and powerful one, that touches on serious and difficult subjects. Unique, personal stories that are weaved together to understand life on a harsh island. I like that the interactive objects were in colour while everything else was in white which made it a breeze to play. The mini games were really fun. Just take note that some of the stories can be quite tragic.

I'm not sure I can say that I was really wowed by Welcome to Elk. While I did find the little minigames that WtE had in every chapter quite charming, these small, pleasant moments really highlight how uninterested I was about the rest of the game. WtE is a collection of slice-of-life stories - some somber, some mystical - and while these stories are just okay by themselves, they are stories that are very independent of each other and don't mesh well for a cohesive story, culminating in a pretty lackluster ending where not a lot is meaningfully explained. A game like Welcome to Elk is driven by its story and I really can't recommend this game by the quality of its story.

Wenn jemand in den Neunzigern die sehr empfehlenswerte Fernsehserie Ausgerechnet Alaska (im Original Northern Exposure) gesehen und gemocht hat, dem seien die im besten Sinne merkwürdigen Gestalten und ihre Geschichten ans Herz gelegt. Alle sind zumindest etwas schräg und ihre lose verknüpften Geschichten von Melancholie durchzogen, dabei auch bei traurigen, ja teils schrecklichen Schicksalen doch immer lebensbejahend. Ein Character sagt es explizit: Erzähle unsere Geschichten, aber vergiss die schönen Seiten nicht.

When I finished this game I asked myself if I had any fun playing this game and the answer is not really. However I don’t think you are meant to have fun playing this game. Everyone in this game is miserable, mentally ill or an alcoholic - it is a truly depressing experience.
That alone isn’t exactly a bad thing but the game also doesn’t seem to make a statement or connect any of it to form a bigger picture. What is the point of it all?

For me, [b]Welcome to Elk[/b] was a super spontaneous impulse buy that I don't regret. It's a collection of weird, grueling and heartwarming stories, put together in a colourful and sometimes surprising way, but the majority is told in the style of a [b]graphic novel[/b].

The game takes roughly [b]three hours[/b] to play from start to finish, so it's the perfect thing to pick up on a free evening. In its storytelling it deals with some heavy topics in a light-hearted way that feels very [b]typically Danish[/b] to me. Like, you know, "Poop happens, but at least you always get an interesting story out of it". So if that's a sentiment you vibe with, I'd recommend you pick this up.

It's a mild rather than strong recommendation for this game. Walking around the island eventually felt boring, and a few of the mini games were annoying. However, it is... weird. And I mean that as a compliment. The art style gave me concern that the game would be twee, but it was far from that. I didn't know anything about the stories before playing, and that was a good way to experience the game. It subverted my expectations.

I'll start by saying that this isn't meant to be a fun game to play. The mini games can be quite a pleasure, but this is mostly an interactive story, with the experiences of the main character being based of the real-life stories of the creators of the game. The art style is great and the stories can hit pretty hard. It's a relatively short, but meaningful experience. Sadly, It's not one that I see myself going through ever again.

刚开头就嗅到了优秀独立动画片的味道！没想到在肉眼可见工作量很大的画面和悦耳的配乐（这些能通过动画呈现的元素）之外，本作的几处交互设计得也很有代入感，让人印象非常深刻。加上巧妙利用了色彩作为突出重点以及引导玩家点击的提示，让人不禁感叹真是一个非常好地利用了“游戏”这一载体的美味小体量作品哇！

内容方面基于创作团队成员自己的经历，其实和玩家是有一定距离的，但放在Elk这个奇怪的小镇身上就很合适。插入的讲述片段包括由此在Elk世界中引申出的内容都让我感到一种少见的奇妙。游戏里很多内容都比较沉重，但处理得很轻盈，离去仿佛是再平常不过的事了，每天无所事事也是（各种小游戏完全没有任何惩罚机制、主人公也没干上一天“正经事”）。

总之是充满惊喜的一款作品！

the interactive storytelling in this game is so intriguing that I was properly sat, it felt like listening to old tales from my grandparents. the minigames fit into the story so well that they were actually enjoyable rather than hindering the gameplay. the illustration style and color palette is what originally drew my eye and I continued to love it even more as the game progressed. let me know where I can get my hands on one of those toasted cats. i love strange games!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to Elk was not at all what I expected but I think that is truly the appeal of the game. Above all things it’s a collection of stories that highlight the pain, absurdity, and unsavory aspects of living. However, it’s almost as if the game is telling you these often painful tales with a goofy wide eyed grin on its face with all the vibrant colors and bouncy movement. It’s hard to recommend but I’m glad I got to experience Welcome to Elk.

Welcome to Elk feels like being invited into the home of somebody very earnest. You're politely shown around, told of the highs and the lows, and after a solid time together your visit comes to a gentle end. The inclusion of real videos of people telling these stories throughout the game was really touching and kept the game grounded, and the ending made me smile. Welcome to Elk didn't blow my mind or change my life, but it didn't really feel like it set out to do that - even though it's the kind of indie game that may seem like it from the store page alone. It felt like it set out to make a human connection between these stories and players, and it absolutely accomplished that.

As far as gameplay and achievements, both were smooth and easy. I paced the game out over several sessions, just because it felt better with each story being told to take a break in between, but it wasn't very long and could be completed in one sitting. I explored enough that by the time I finished, I only had three achievements to go back and get, and it was very quick to mash through the dialogue and reach the points I needed to get them. I struggled a little with the "Look, shrimp!" achievement, but got it after a handful of tries.

I'd say this game is an experience worth having. My time with it was pleasant, and I'm glad I got to know Elk and the people who live there.

岛上散落满地的酒瓶，我还以为是后面需要收集的要素或者彩蛋，到最后突然醒悟这是社会边缘人的《酒精计划》，而里面的某段故事也完全就是《伊尼舍林的报丧女妖》中xx视角中的xx，非常黑色幽默。很多作品会努力让读者或者观众玩家尽可能入戏共情，但这个游戏是反复在途中破坏这种沉浸感，并且还会用非常突然的怼脸真人采访告知你：这一切是真实的——WHAT？

实际上介绍页面里就写得很清楚“Ture story told by real person ” 我一无所知冲进去反而获得了一个相当独特且难忘的游戏体验。不断被打断的沉浸感其实为玩家提供了另一种神奇的真实感，那些似乎远离了正常的人都不仅仅是电影剧情，他们都是真实存在的，他们也在努力地活着。就像最后居民们为Frigg送行所说的：一切的故事，无论多荒诞不经多痛苦不堪，只要有人在听就有意义。

配乐和画面色彩更加值得盛赞！！主角每一天醒来，每一段剧情的配乐都是不一样的，都很好听不说，还特别能够勾起不一样的情绪，有些温馨可爱有些鬼气森森。

流程不长，有点奇怪，也很用心的独游。

作为以故事为核心的游戏，Welcome to Elk 不以悬疑猎奇之类的噱头吸人眼球，故事平淡而细腻。瓶中信的大段文本并非必读，读完也挺有趣的。[spoiler]插入的几段真人影像，有来自现实的厚重。[/spoiler]

音乐很好听，和游戏很搭，打完甚至加了几首到歌单，但全 ost 循环，可能会有些重复。美术风格有儿童绘本的感觉，色彩丰富也很可爱。

把真人真事改编到游戏后，本作有一种怪异的幽默感，挺合我的口味。结尾处对“故事”的讨论，在别的地方也看到过。[spoiler]玩之前已是这种观点的信徒了，所以很亲切。[/spoiler]

Jogo lindo e divertido demais! Chorei em algumas partes e admiro muito o modo dos criadores se aproximarem do jogador com os vídeos no meio do jogo, é o que torna ele mais humano e é uma das razões que me lembrou o porque amo jogos indies.
Senti falta de poder explorar mais o mapa em geral, as casas, objetos e etc, isso porque gostaria que ele nunca acabasse, mas as vezes uma boa história é só uma boa história :)

This is a cool game! The story follows Frigg, the newest resident of Elk, and how she gets acquainted with the locals. After a couple of days in Elk, however, Frigg starts to feel as though death is following her. Every night, Frigg has different dreams involving a boat, and wakes up to a new bottle on her dining table every morning, each containing a different story with death at its center. There are plenty of interesting mini-games interspersed throughout, but the strength of the game overall comes from the true stories incorporated into the overarching narrative.
