is absolutely garbage when compared against dofus or dofus classic, will never understand why they went down this route with Wakfu.

A strategic turn base mmorpg with a lot of content and a lot of things to do ! Wakfu feels renewed since 2012 a whole different game with a lot of good and new features !
For Returning players that played before 2014 , the new server Ogrest will offer you a simillar and a better experience as heroes and sidekicks are not allowed ! Play the game with friends as you used to , meet people run content with them and have fun as you used to !
Rubilax is also fun for those who want to solo and invest in two accounts with booster pack ( subscription ) That allows you to play 6 characters (3 per account) simutaneously.
The account wide system is a blessing ! Professions are now account wide also
cosmetics /titles /auras/ mount skins/pet skins and decorations are now saved into their respective interfaces and available for all your characters on the server you play.
The new market interface works similar to the one with Gw2 if you played that. Now it hass offers where you can see what people want to buy and sell them instantly if you have the items ! Ogrest has a very healthy economy in comparison to Rubilax Server.
Play as one of 18 Unique classes , they are all fun in their own way ! If you are new you can try them all untill lvl 30 , you can change class in the tutorial zone '' Island of Rii by talking to an npc in-game '' !
The enviroment affects the players in each zone in different ways ! Chop down many trees in a zone and the players in it may find themselves with a debuff- penalty to exp gains and loot gains ! Restoring the enviroment by planting treees will give a buff to the zone ! Your actions have consequences !
You have a pocket dimension called haven bag ! There you can plant stuff or decorate it and also access your account chest ! You can also turn it into a market and sell items there or build crafting stations and allow other people to craft their items there using your profession levels that means , you craft for them without them having to trade their items to you. And you gain the Exp as well ! Its theese little features that i find really smart and enjoyable <3
Level scaling system ! You can do dungeons and content at your own level or Enter the Mothly Leaderboard by challenging the dungeons at the dungeon level ( scaling down ) to earn monthly rewards ! This is considered part of the endgame ! In wakfu all level content is relative at all times ! there are many level ranges , every 15 lvls there is a new one ! 6-20, 21-35, 36-50, 51-65, 66-80 etc untill lvl 230 for now, soon 245 comes out !
Face content of all difficulties, raise the dungeon difficulty ( Stasis levels ) for more loot and exp, Activate steeles or Interventions to add more mechanics to dungeons or an extra boss for unique loot and drops, Enter Rifts - a game mode that you find waves of enemies untill 40 Rounds for unique rewards, Solve mysteries and Puzzles , Face Ultimate bosses and enemies from the Wakfu Anime Series, Prepare your builds and gear for each challenge, Learn and master your class , experiment and adapt !

Llevo jugando al dofus y ahora al wakfu cerca de 15 años y nunca me he aburrido, el sistema que usa y como siguen implementando cosas. Sus Easter eggs y humor lo hacen muy disfrutable.
El juego en si su calidad gráfica lo hace que sea accesible para muchos .
Puedes o no pagar y seguir subiendo de Nivel.
No voy a poner pros o contras, por que son subjetivas a cada individuo, pero si lo tuyo son los MMO con todo lo que con lleva este es tu juego.
O tipo dr jogo que você começa a jogar vo Score positivo no Serasa e termina negativo. Fax 20 empréstimos, tenta se envolver com agiota, vende as coisas da casa... Enfim quando só lhe resta o rim e o PC é hora de para! Super recomendo se você for milionário. Pois é um joguinho só pra vender cosmético. O mercado interno vive dando ruim, quem controla são players tão antigos que nem ficam mais online quase nunca. A própria Ankima ta nem ai pro servidor. Tem roubo de conta a torto e a direita. Nossa ADORO esse jogo! É fofo! Pena que só tenho um olho agora, um rim e tals... mas só usamos um mesmo.

Tendo 30 horas na minha conta da Steam e jogando há dois anos posso dizer que Wakfu já FOI um EXCELENTE jogo, e é válido para qualquer novo jogador testá-lo. Apesar de não ser mais o que já foi, é possível ter uma boa experiência se juntar-se a um grupo de amigos. Já para aqueles que optarem por jogar solo, o jogo pode se tornar de certa foram redundante.
Pontos positivos:
- O novo sistema de spells permite uma variedade de builds que permitem um gameplay único. Além disso, cada classe pode adotar um estilo de jogo único, os roles são variados.
- O sistema de rodadas para cada jogador/mob vai além: contra muitos monstros e em pvp cada movimento tem que ser calculado, as batalhas são então mais dinâmicas do que a média dos jogos nesse estilo.
- Diversas dungeons com diversos drops, fragmentos épicos e monstros extremamente overpowered. A busca por uma build cada vez mais forte te fará repetir dungeons diversas vezes.
- Existe um sistema de economia e ecosistema bem feito, no qual os jogadores tem controle quasi total.
- Sistema de profissões eficiente, você tem diversas opções que lhe farão investir muito tempo! Os itens obtidos a partir do craft podem ser vendidos no mercado a alto preço.
- Sistema de nações e política, apesar de pouco explorado em função da falta de jogadores, é bem feito e em zonas livres garante uma certa "rivalidade".
- As classes de Wakfu são variadas e englobam boa parte dos "clichês" de rpg : de bersekers a summoners.
- A história é bem desenvolvida e agradará os fans da série.
Pontos negativos:
- A insistência da ankama e de sua staff em expandir o jogo para níveis maiores sem antes melhorar a experiência de jogadores mais novos, e a insistência de tornar o jogo um pay to win levou (além de outros fatores) a um colapso de sua comunidade. Hoje em dia os servidores se tornaram extremamente vazio.
- Muitas classes se tornaram ultrapassadas, na medida que a jogabilidade solo está extremamente reduzida. Outras estão simples desbalanceadas (sacrier em pvp).
- As quests são de certa forma limitadas em termos de retorno de xp e em todas as etapas do jogo você fica limitado a um grinding que se torna repetido e cansativo. Os dungeons são infactíveis muitas vezes até mesmo com dois sidekicks te acompanhando , assim como grupos de mobs com maior nível. Apenas com uma party é possível ter uma experiência menos desgastante.
- A baixa quantidade de jogadores, que outrora era enorme, limita a experiência para qualquer jogador novo. A única solução é tentar encontrar alguma guild ativa, ou adquirir os booster.

D'abord joueur de dofus en 1.29 puis joueur wakfu des la beta fermée.
Je peux vous assurer que le jeu est clairement meilleur au jour d'aujourdhui qu'il ne l'etait a l'epoque.
Ce MMO se demarque des autres et nous propose, pour une fois, de vivre sa propre aventure ou nous sommes maitre de notre destin, ici on ne te tiens pas par la mains pour t'emmener faire tes quetes.
Je vais noter les points positifs et negatifs ci-dessous car j'estime que c'est plus lisible et agréable :
Points positifs :
- Ton personnage n'est pas le "héro de la prophetie", c'est juste un aventurier parmis tant d'autre
- Systeme de politique, Il ya 4 nations et 1 clan de bandits qui sont gerée par des joueurs
- Ecosysteme, aussi geré par les joueurs, qui influenceras un maitre de zone qui donneras des bonus ou des malus
- Amis Roleplayeur vous serez servis, la communautée adore faire du roleplay et les joueurs sont tres agreable
- Difficultée bien dosée, on ne monte pas de 50 niveaux en 1 journée
- Systeme de religion qui donne des bonus journaliers
- Un vrai free2play qui ne propose dans son shop, que des outils cosmetique et/ou n'inpactant pas grandement l'avancement du personnage dans le monde des douzes
- Un vrai univers, le Krosmoz est complet et l'univers vous seduiras par ses reference etc.. Ici c'est les joueurs qui doivent reconstruire le monde, les metiers sont tous tres importants.
Points negatifs (parce qu'il en faut)
- On peu etre perdu quand on est pas familier au jeu, par justement l'absence d'aide du jeu
- la difficultée est peut etre trop dosée ?
- Hello Ankama ? il serait temps de s'occuper de certains bug comme les succes steam ?
En bref ce jeu est une petite perle et sous ses aspect de mmo enfantin il se trouve etre un vrai univers avec sa propre economie, politique etc... bien plus complex qu'un simple MMO comme on en voit de partout.

Un jeu de rôle "massivement" multijoueurs sur le déclin.
Il a de grandes difficultés à s'exporter et conserver sa propre communauté française.
Le jeu vieillit mal (graphiquement surtout), les développeurs prennent très rarement en compte les requêtes du forum en ligne. En fait, quand on constate qu'un simple bug empêchant depuis 2 ans de débloquer les succès Steam existe encore aujourd'hui, on se demande vraiment si l'équipe d'Ankama a encore un réel intérêt pour ce jeu.
La présence de mes amis sur le serveur Aerafal est l'unique raison qui me pousse encore à cliquer sur mon raccourci bureau.
Well its still good for new players and i have pretty good fps on max sett. with my hoover (wooden pc). Even if i have seen the bugs (i didnt see game mechanics bugs or itemsdrop, only about customization) it was fixed in 15 sec by restarting the game. I have no idea what these ppl (with 1-2k hrs) talking about cause i have a 7k hrs in (ded) game which was supported ONLY by community for 5+ f..ing years (yes, its TF2). And if u still crying about ur hats and money hmm, u know u can f2p this one (even if its 10$ for mounth for this game WHO CARES its just f..ing 10$). So as i said its have a big stuff for new players and i think u'll enjoy it if u like any RPG or tactical mechanics games.

I remember years back playing this game with my account and having fun with my friends, such memories made me return to see this ultra mega giga mess, now insteed of lvl up and getting better skills you get cards?? why??? this game had so much potential and i use to enjoy it, Ankama listen to your comunity and save this game.
dont play this game, dont purchase anything made by this company. watch the "anime" if you want, but dont bother playing any of ankamas games, paticuarily this or dofus.
game is trash, support is dead, community is mostly dead. from someone with thousands of off steam hours its doubtful the servers/community will ever recover. all of this a far cry from how populated and fun their games used to be years ago. however through horrible supports, un-needed updates and garbage balancing as well as constant anti-consumer decisions, ankama successfully bled out their own games. this movement to steam was likely their last chance to fix things
but they failed.

Game is horrible because it starts to lag out very quick on a computer that gets 60 FPS on max settings in black desert online. It's not my computer, it happens on nearly any computer. The game becomes unplayable very quick and gets stutter lag within minutes.
The developer has done nothing to fix this issue and it's only gotten worse every single patch.
Please add the Russian language
The game has a brilliant concept and artwork. But the developers screwed it up big time. Please message me when something good will finally happen in this game. Honestly....even a major revert around like what? 4 Years back? would be welcome!

Para empezar desde cero es algo complicado, y la dificultad que se les agrega a la mazmorra la mayoría de veces nunca beneficia a los niveles inferiores, no hay alguna inspiración para llegar a nivel 200, aunque algunos jugadores llegan a ese nivel se creen la gran cosa, mucha gente se le dificultad el manejo del juego, de cosa he aprendido de Dofus, sin embargo, hay muchas que corregir.

The R34 of this series is amazing, and very well made.
Terrible. I've been playing it since the beta. Apart from the weird gamaplay and mechanic's decisions which is another big (but subjective) minus, the app is completely bugged out. You see people complaining about bugs at beta and these bugs are still there at the 5th anniversary. Multiple times their database glitches out leaving you without gear, throphies, costumes, materials and other stuff which took weeks to acquire. Best you get - some silly gift from Ankama as a "compensation", other times you're just completely being ignored by support.
Game community keeps shrinking and that's no surprise. Comparing to what it was years ago, it's just dead now. Disappointed people log back in hoping something had been improved and abandon it again.
Also there's no way of disabling unbearably lagging effects which makes you watch spells slo-mo and not being able to do turns in fight. And that's even on new computers with unsupported graphic cards. For instance, my 10 years old laptop with a supported graphic card runs it easily while on the new one with 8 gigs of RAM on the board the game lags out at you big time in fights.
Simpel to say it was the best multiplayer game i played at all.
It was fun and has so much potential... And then? Yeah, they wasted all.
Dont hear what the community says, make bad decisions no one wants, doesnt even try to get players back, closes all servers so everyone loses even buyed stuff on the old server with month of playing, doesnt even try to work on the language pack and so the list goes on...
They simply do nothing. Forums are full of people trying to reason with the developers...
Its a shame and it makes me really sad to leave such a game i really loved for so long.
Edit: And now after such a long time they fixed the Achievments. At least for now.
How did they do it? They deleted most of them. I even lost my most rare achievments cause they just deleted it. Instead of Fixing they just delete stuff that isnt working. Great way to go...

fantastic game, many players online and helpful people. guild concept is just awsome! :D
This is the MMO I've kept coming back to. The battles are engaging (especially for turn based tactics fans), it's really pretty, and a lot of the gameplay elements are quite creative. There don't seem to be many people playing it any more though; the last few times I've been on it the towns have been almost comletely deserted. The devs also sometimes seem to make weird mistakes and decisions with the direction the game goes. Too bad really; there's a lot of fun to be had here, but a lot of the core elements of the game stop working if there's only a small player base.
The amazing game and coolest people and stuff keep it that way ^^
It's a very good, strategically deep game though the in game economy leaves me a bit miffed. If you're patient and love grid based strategy RPG's, you could easily bury hundreds of hours into this game.

Soy un gran fan de la serie y por eso decidí probar el juego, tengo un sinfín de horas jugadas fuera de steam, pero sistema de recompensas de pvp es absurdo, un tio me gano y le quedaba 1 punto de vida, porque? porque mi turno acabo, un online rpg por turnos suena buena idea en papel, pero ya en ejecución es otra historia, todas las clases están desbalanceadas, menos los buenos yopukas, están equilibrados y por eso tiene desventaja contra todas las demás clases, son los únicos que no tiene forma de recuperar vida en las peleas, soy fan de gultar, asi que adivinen que clase me ise, lo recomiendo solo para jugar fuera de PVP. por mi parte, ya perdi esperanza en este juego 6/ 10
Very fun and unique game, a true sucessor to the Dofus legacy.
A shame that the community is not big enought for all the big scale content and events this game offers.
PS: i don't recommend buyng the starter pacs, but if you want to help support the game and the community, that is a good way.
A fun MMO that has a different playstyle than any other MMOs I have played. Turn based, although it is quite grindy. Crafting is useful though be prepared to also grind for materials, and have professions require mats from different professions. There is government and PvP for those that like that.
Interesting storyline and there are quests to be had. I've played since its beta and it has come a long way, mostly for the better I feel. Cash shop has mostly cosmetic purchases, and while free to play there are benefits for being a subscriber/premium member.
A nice time sink for those MMO fans out there that want a different feel to the usual.
Update: Server Merge postponed till the end of the year, as usual 0 discussion of how they are going to deal with the economy after the merge... Let's see if they finally do something right or screw the few people left that are still playing the game..
They had an amazing game with a unique concept and beautiful gameplay. Sadly like others have said they are probably one of the worst developers around, they don't listen to anybody unless it's too late, they focus on the wrong stuff most of the time and frankly they don't care if you love the game only that you buy stuff.
For quite sometimes the game is only plagued by bad decisions so overall not recommended as long as ankama is behind it.

Este jogo é simplesmente maravilhoso, ta certo que é um rpg em turnos, mas quem se importa? ,eu joguei este jogo ate chegar nivel 100 junto com meu amigo, e eu não me arrependo de ter feito esta escolha, não gastei um tostão e me diverti muito, so lhes dou uma dica, tenham paciencia.

The animation is gorgeous with a unique style to it and interesting quests that will suck you into the world of Wakfu.
Wakfu also sapwned an animated tv show under the same name,so be sure to check that if you like the game.

-progression is not one of the fastest

O jogo é até divertido, tem um estilo bem único para um MMO, porem a companhia responsável pelo jogo é péssima, com bugs pra todo lado e falta de suporte . Se você tem tempo livre e quer testar vá em frente já que é gratuito, porem não aconselho ninguém a se dedicar muito pois você vai se decepcionar, e principalmente não recomendo a gastar dinheiro com o jogo.

L'editeur à l'air plus occupé à trouver de quoi mettre dans son cash shop que d'optimiser le jeu.
je suis sur ce jeu depuis 2 mois , j'ai atteind le lvl 140 , monté les metiers de recolte lvl 100 ainsi que ce de fabrication et ce fut d'un ennuis terrible. On clique les ressources une barre prend plus ou moins de temps pour accomplir la tache et ca sur tous.
Un system PVP à revoir , d'abord on se fait aggresser par des joueurs qui on 20 -40 lvl de plus que vous vous n'avez strictement auccune chance, plus tard en HL vous aurez la surprise que certain joueur vous aggresse avec leur perso bas lvl , mais ils sont accompagné d'un lvl 200 qui peut rejoindre le combat en multi-compte afin de leur faire gagner des point de pvp facilement.
Bref l'éditeur de ce jeu à encore beaucoup de chose à changer pour faire de celui ci un vrai jeu , mais les seul changement son fait pour vous forcer à vous connecter de facon reguliere pour monter dans le top 50 des free to pay via un nombre X de joueur qui se log chaque jour.

Despues de jugar 950 horas en muy poco tiempo por que le pege un vicio bastante importante,puedo decir con mucha seguridad que ankama el creador de wakfu lo mato,yo me cree 6 cuentas las subi hasta 181 y aun asi las mazmorras de moon me matan con una facilidad increible,ahora hacer mazmorras ya no tiene sentido ya que tienes la dificultad de stasis 1 y 20 mientras mas dificultad obviamente mas complicada la mazmorra y ese temita de la dificultad solo beneficia a los jugadores de lvl 200 a lo cual puedo decir facilmente,ME APIADO DE LA PERSONA QUE COMIENZE A JUGAR ESTE JUEGO DESDE 0,no hay mas motivos para jugar solo subir al 200 y hablo como un jugador que intento jugar solo pero necesitas ayuda de gente lvl 200 la cual se cree mas de lo que es,osea conclusion juega este juego si estas muy aburrido pero en todo caso hay mejores mmorpg
O jogo é muito bom , ele tem seus problemas sim , + o jogo ainda e MT bom , ele nessecita de uma boa estratégia nos combates, tutorial fácil e esplicativo. A nova Astrube é MT maneira, faz um tempo a n jogo pq o noote n deixa + recomendo MT o jogo
Played this game since closed for about 3 years. It was pay to play at first and it was great but with time it just getting worse and worse. The developers keep making horrible decisions without listening to their community. The community is so small now it's not worth getting into. Its a shame how they managed to ruin such a unique and fun game.

If you decide to play any of this company's (Ankama) games (Dofus, Dofus Touch, Wakfu, Krosmaga, Krosmaster, etc.), do NOT invest yourself in it.
While the games are unique in their genre and quite fun, Ankama will not hesitate to f*** you over big time. I was simply addicted to their main MMO, Dofus, and I could just not take it anymore. They're the worst company I have ever seen.
Support is non existent, for once. If you issue is more complicated than a password reset, support will NOT help you. You will often have to reopen your closed tickets several times for the support to actually read your message. Most of their answers are some copy pasted crap that does not fit your issue at all.
Second, and it's not so bad in itself compared to the other stuff, their updates don't make any sense at all. Tomorrow they might decide they change the whole game without consulting the community and they'll just roll with it. One ''funny'' moment was when they lost half of their player base deciding to switch from version 1.29 to 2.0 on their main PC game, Dofus. There was no options to stay on the old game, they just switched everything over and RIP. Let's not talk about how they willingly ruined 1v1 PVP, or how they keep making the same mistakes over and over without ever improving (rollbacks, awful class changes, awful mechanic changes, etc.)
Which leads me to my third point, which made me delete their games. They sometimes throw events out where you get 2 times the xp, drop, etc etc. Pretty cool, uh? Everyone makes sure they barely sleep at all to play as much as possible and farm like hell. But what they did recently was just too much. A player found a way to generate their in-game cash shop items for free (please note that the items in themselves were not generating any value outside cosmetics and that they were linked for 3 months to the account that bought them). This was on Tuesday, and was noticed by the staff on friday. The issue was leaked in the whole community, and Ankama was well aware of the issue. No communication on their end, however (like usual) and the double week end went on. Everyone played the game like mad monkeys, my friends and myself included. We didn't sleep. We did some incredible things, pushed several characters to the ultimate level and generated for $1500 worth of in-game currency (legitely).
Well, when the week-end ended, they rollbacked everything up to friday morning. Not only did they wiped, without warning, all the player's efforts, they did not wipe everything that was generated because of the bug. No apologies, and they did not answer to alternative ways players bringed up (which were pleeeentiful and legitimate ways to fix the bug). They do that at least 2 times a year since they exist. If you ask for a compensation for a very specific item that dropped when you have 1% of getting it, and worth $400... The support will say too bad for you pal.
They're just lazy, and don't care about you. They only care about what you're going to inject in their cash shop. There's so many games out there that are great and are worth your time. I don't recommend you give it or any money to Ankama. You can google their reviews yourself, starting with ''rollback'', and have a good laugh.
Oh, that and Wakfu's dying with no plans on reviving it.

A PORRA DO JOGO NAO DIZ COMO FAZ PARA POR (NAO DEIXA VOCE SAIR DE LA SE NAO POR) E TAMBEM NAO ADIANTA APERTAR TODOS OS BOTOES DO JOGO PQ NAO ACONTECE NADA. 0/10 PERDA DE TEMPO.

Great game. A bit boring and confusing in the begining but really fun after. Tons of missions and quests. Lot's of things to do, definitly recomended.

Great game i came to play when someone told me there was a game and not just a show on netflix. i really enjoy playing it with all of the cool classes.
Great game had a lot of fun, unfornately keep getting wakfu did not shut down properly error and no help from devs so cant recommend this unfornately:( Due to response from developer I have changed my review although at this moment I still cant play I now know its not their fault and hope it gets fixed soon.
The turorial is a slog. I had to close and reopen several times to get past combat bugs. If you have patience you might be able to enjoy this with some frioends but I've played facebook games with more polish.
This game has the most convoluted rules and controls, which the incredibly long tutorial is absolutely no help with.

It's been almost a decade since WAKFU's launch, and the developers are still unsure about core elements such as the game's business model and attribute allocation system. Back in 2012 (when I started playing), it was subscription-based with a cosmetic cash shop. The player base decreased drastically after a few years, so the game went free-to-play with optional premium and non-cosmetic cash items (such as faster mounts and sidekicks). Nowadays, the game continues to revamp stuff over and over and encourages using premium more and more by rendering sidekicks useless. You either have to subscribe and use your own characters or find enough players to run content with, which isn't always possible.
In other words, playing this game is stressful because you never know when things will change for the worse. Don't get me wrong, when it comes to world building and personality, Ankama is amazing. WAKFU brims with creativity and is one of the few remaining MMOTRPGs. However, the developers themselves not knowing what they want the game to be after ten years is very worrisome.
[b]2024 Edit: If you're interested in Ankama's art style and the MMOTRPG idea sounds interesting to you, consider playing Dofus 3.0 instead of Wakfu. It's a new Unity rendition of Dofus with lots of QoL features and visual improvements. Even after all these years, Dofus remains Ankama's main game and features a lot of content created by their most experienced and focused team.[/b]
