Though impressive for a solo-dev project, it ultimately is extremely unpolished and has been abandoned by the dev (It has been 5 years since the last update). There seems to be a large problem with balance and also the controls are confusing and really need to be redone and modernized (and properly explained).
What is left of this game is basically a tech demo or proof of concept. I would consider its state to be something of an early beta. There are a lot of bugs and most of the game is made of rough edges. Keep this in mind when you consider spending your hard-earned money on this title.

ABANDONWARE- Dead Game- DO NOT BUY: no updates in 5 years. if i could give this a neutral review i would, because for what it is its not bad by VR standards. multiplayer does work, ive matched with rando's like 3 times which has been fun. you have to like playing solo, with friends, or HOPE there may be one other person playing this at any given time.
Its a fun game with a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the dev is not going to finish it and it is still listed as early access. I feel like i have been scammed and steam will not issue a refund or remove the game. As someone who really liked this game it is not fair to sell this currently and I feel disappointed as it now feels like another cash grab.

Ein gut gemachtes Spiel, einiges an Content, schön aufgebaut. Gefällt mir ganz gut - die Klassen, die Waffen, die Dungeons usw. Kann aber mit den neueren und guten Dungeon Crawlern, die es mittlerweile in VR gibt nicht mehr ganz mithalten - und leider wurde die Entwicklung eingestellt. Hab das Spiel für 5 Euro bekommen und für diesen Preis ist es absolut ok!

Fun game about wandering around a medieval dungeon. its fun. haven't seen an update for this game for awhile so i am not sure if its abandond though. havent gotten a update for a long time but its a fun game. Wish it had more multiplayer though.

Like others have said the game was abandoned. It was really good in my opinion, it had potential to be better but overall with the bugs that are still there and when you max everything out there's no real point to continue..
I would've loved to see modder's to continue and improve the game but the Dev refused to give out the source code so that modders could make improvements and additions to continue this amazing game..

I will use this review to tell you that this game is unfinished and has not been worked on in 5 years. Alternatively, I can point you to ancient dungeon VR which is a very similar game with more challenge and way better dungeon varieties, secrets, customizations. It's a bit less charming because it's voxel but it feels like you're playing Zelda dungeons with a difficulty turned up. It has a new update as of 2025 that adds co-op four player and the devs are actively still developing for the game. So, get ancient dungeon VR, not this unfinished game that should be removed from the store. That is all.

Less of a game, more just a frustrating experience. The dungeon design is okay but so much of the games potential is lost by poor mechanics and an overall aversion to fun. The enemies are varied but boring and unresponsive, some are melee-based and pretty much charge at you until you're dead, attacks can be blocked with a shield if you're willing to halve your damage but good luck getting enough damage in as a ranged character to kill the bunch of 3 armoured goblins before they kill you. The randomisation of the dungeon maps means you can get a miniboss that'll kill you before you get the first hit in, no consideration from the game to help you if you're on low health by changing the spawns.
Some weapons are far more viable than others, but upgrading is entirely random, look forward to repeatedly getting weapons you're never going to use because they have literally zero potential.
The adaptability of the game is minimal and pigeonholes you into the most basic of play styles, I found the melee tedious so I tried playing with dual pistols which rarely shot where I wanted and barely dented health bars. Contrast this to the game 'In death' where ranged combat is thought out and rewarding. The mage is also unbearably slow and comes with so many drawbacks that it wasn't worth playing.
It seems to be that the developers fundamentally don't understand that games are meant to be fun, no-one is going to bother to play a game that actively chooses the most boring option.
There's also a 'secret' spider boss that would have been interesting to fight if it wasn't so unbalanced. Using the barrels on the cave ceiling let you knock it down and damage it, but the barrels don't respawn so you're out of luck if your weapons don't do enough damage to kill it before they run out.

Malheureusement , même si le jeu est plein de charme graphiquement , avec des mécaniques simple mais efficace ... la douche froide est venue à la 1 ère rencontre d'ennemis .
En effet , Même si les ennemis se déplace normalement tant qu'ils ne sont pas "aggro" ,une fois qu'on rentre en combat : ils se téléportent sans raison, les animations sont saccadées à l'extrême , en gros le jeu est complètement injouable . Host ou pas host la partie n'a rien changé à l'affaire .
Bref remboursé , je ne puis pas conseillé ce jeu qui n'a plus reçu de mise à jour depuis 5 ans et dont je m’étonne vu l'état qu'il soit encore sur le magasin Steam .

Very small company did an amazing job and it as a real shame they have disbanded. Spent many hours on this game and still go back to it from time to time. Levels are short so you don't find yourself stuck in the middle of a dungeon needing to go. Yes, the levels are very same-ish but as this never got out of early release I think its amazing and wonder what it could have become if VR mechanics were standardised to give small teams on tighter budgets a chance.
Literally my only complaint is the the no external save feature. If you uninstall you loose all your progress.

I got this game a long time ago. Probably 2017. It was pretty fun at the time. It had networked co-op, which was nice. As it was EA and I wanted to see how it would develop, it sat in my library. I was clearing out some games I meant to revisit, and figured I'd come back to this to see what happened.
The game has changed a lot since I first played. It's much better now. A lot more going on now and more weapons, which is cool. While the game has some bugs, nothing game breaking. It's clearly abandonware at this point, which is a shame, because I can see where they were going with it and it had a lot of potential.
Since it's abandonware, I unfortunately am going to give it the ol' thumbs down. There isn't enough in it to make it worth playing in it's present state. Hopefully that isn't the case and I'll get a chance to come back and change my review.

fun game would love to see a fully functional multiplayer mode made right now nobody is looking for co-op games if anyone else is playing and multiplayer does not seem stable as my game started to lag a lot after turning it on. restarting the game fixed the lag but yeah not really multiplayer at all. no idea if this game is still being developed but its fun even if it never gets functional multiplayer.

Really fun, a great example of how simple fun gameplay trumps unpolished graphics. There is little variety in room layouts, enemy types and strategy but it's fun to consistently return to for a few runs. Probably 1 of 3 VR exclusive titles I actually enjoyed and returned to consistently.
Melee combat is responsive, and while enemies use only one or two canned combat animations, combat feels accurate, and feels better than it looks.
The game also runs totally buttery smooth with zero issues for me, something that's unsaid about every other full VR title I've ever tried.
This is an honest gem of a game. Not many out there in VR that have aged well, this one is perfectly simple... and uniquely in depth. Working with the armor sets is enjoyable. Combat is straight forward and easy to grasp and the weapons are easy to figure out, with ample places to practice with them. If you understand RPGs you will understand this game. Depending on the setup you use.... you can even get a bit of cardio in. I hope to see more some day... sad this didn't take off.... its worthy.
Hidden gem here. Gameplay is really fun, the blocking mechanics are a bit telegraphed, but some enemies will come swinging. Tons of different gameplay styles and options. Definitely roguelite, so you'll be treading procedural ground, but worth every penny if you're into that style of game.
Dang I wish this game was still supported. It was a fantastic idea with a lot of fun content. Don't buy it now though as there are game breaking bugs and have been for years. I believe the game was abandoned right as it hit its stride.

While development on this game has ceased, this is still a thoroughly-enjoyable game in its current state -- and quite stable. The variety is pretty high, and I've really enjoyed seeing what 'new' sights I'll run into. There's a huge amount of character variety I've not even delved into yet, as I've mostly played as a gunslinger -- with may other options available.
I've yet to round up my friend to play this with, but I imagine this would be a blast co-op!

Purchased on discount, but not really worth it in its current form. Enemies stack on each other and behave oddly, graphics are meh at best, feels very alpha state. Unclear if it is still being developed.

Its a fun little game but the dev has left so be aware of that when buying it.
VR control settings are lacking way too much. You go through the effort of making a room that I have to physically go into to change settings, but don't just give me a menu. I cannot disable touchpad movement without disabling thumbstick movement. Turning rate cannot be adjusted other than "slow" and "slightly less slow".
the vr/comfort options doesn't work, there is no "settings" in the menu, you have to go to a room to try the settings and they don't work, so I can't fix my height and I literally can't play the game (which looks fun) because of a trash vr UX/UI
20€ for an unfinished game which will never be.

Geat game for VR, not alot out there like this. Wish devs would expand game as there is nothing else to play like this.
I loved the dungeon style of the game where you have to go from room to room until the end. From what I have played, the game seems like a good experience for the price.
So while ive only just begun to get into it, I think my only real complaint at this time is the fact some of the aiming feels a bit off if your using Index controllers. The only other mild complaint i have is the game says youll hear a sound effect if your swinging correctly but sometimes what should be a reasonably propper swing no sound effect kicks off. so dont know if thats just naturally hand jittering causing it not to kick off, or something else on the back end. Either way had a good time my first run. Seems to be a great choice for exercise

lvl advancement of str dex and int, with gold being your main resource for Armour and pets! meanwhile your weapon room arsenal is upgraded by chest tokens granted from completion and various additional completion factors like bosess ect.
so ..( deeep breath).. armour is organised by adventurer classes and grants bonuses tailored to whatever class think there are 10?? like thief warrior mage assassin bla..(varied gp price ranged once u buy its yours and you can switch, same with the weapons. wich brings me to the argh factor how you can kill em!)

I cant recommend the game as an Early Access game with over 3 years since an update came out.
For the price its definitely not worth buying, but if you get it on sale, then yeah its worth about 10 hours of time playing solo, or slightly more with a friend.
If another update comes out, i will amend this review to reflect, because this game has potential.
I was impressed with what I saw so far. Keep up the work, looking forward to seeing it leave EA.

I do recommend this game, as it is a really fun dungeon game, nothing to complex tho, ai tends to just run at you directly and will spam roll away etc etc but I do say with a huge WARNING. this game has had a huge memory leak problem thats hasn't been fixed for as long as I'd had the game, it tends to ruin runs as your game over time slows alot and turning becomes a struggle. So it is fun but will require you to restart the game often due to the memory leaks. Hopefully the game will have some update in the future that fixes this problem

The games idea is great, this game would be excellent, but its quality and execution are so trashy. A lot of the text has spelling mistakes, the animations look like I could find better on Roblox. and breaking stuff like boxes or vases is superbly difficult, just to hit it once keep in mind.
If this game had a little bit more effort put in around the rough edges, it could definitely be worth the price as a dungeon crawler game like this with its mechanics could be something really interesting. But right now, not really much at all to this game. If its not in full release, Ill be sure to change my review and give the game another shot.
I wouldnt recommend currently spending your money on it, but I can see this game going far
