In this world, corporations reign supreme, all human life is infected with nanomachines designed to oppress them, and the terrifying White Knights ensure that everyone obeys the laws. But, this is not about those people. You are a bartender at VA-11 HALL-A, affectionately nicknamed "Valhalla." VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action is a game that perfectly blends style, atmosphere, and character-driven storytelling.

First of all, the visuals are absolutely beautiful. The mix of anime aesthetics and pixel art creates a unique cyberpunk vibe, and everything feels incredibly cohesive and stylish. Glitch City has its own identity, and the game fully commits to it.

A big part of the experience is the dialogue. There’s a lot of it — characters constantly talk about their lives, their struggles, and what’s happening around the city. If you enjoy just sitting back and immersing yourself in conversations, this game delivers.

The gameplay revolves around mixing drinks, which makes it a hybrid between a visual novel and a bartender simulator. Every drink has a recipe, some can be bought in the shop, and others are hidden. Customers either hint at what they want or tell you directly, and for some of them you’ll need to remember their favorite drinks. Whether you get it right or not affects your salary at the end of the day.

You can then use that salary to decorate Jill’s room. Each day she wants to buy something specific, and if you get it for her, she’ll be more focused at work (which makes the game slightly easier). However, spending everything on items is a bad idea — you still need to pay rent, and that directly affects the ending.

I genuinely enjoyed almost everything about this game, except for one frustrating aspect: achievements. Some of them require very specific events that are not clearly explained. Even guides often fail to properly describe how to trigger them. You can follow a guide and still mess it up, which can ruin a “perfect” run. It feels like the game is hiding something from the player without giving enough information.

Overall, I highly recommend this game.
If you enjoy character conversations or the idea of mixing drinks, you’ll definitely have a great time here.

The most humane dialogue and story i've ever witnessed in a game, its crazy how much you can relate with each character especially when there's no voice acting and how different they all are and i think its because of the different humane challenges and doubts they all face which makes them all relatable not to mention how good the music and world building is, definitely a great humble story indie game.

老实说开始时玩的是盗版，但是当打完通关之后我明白是时候为这个游戏付钱了。
给新人一点建议，按照攻略一周目直接打完所有结局，二周目的体验并不好，极大的消耗了我的耐心，调酒的核心玩法一般主要服务器叙事，看攻略并不会破坏游戏体验，就游戏里的主线和伏笔我觉得一般，但是得益于优秀的游戏形式和丰满的群像人物，还有浑然一体的像素美学，另外这种以小见大塑造的赛博朋克世界观，主笔确实有足够的笔力，文本扎实，游戏不少地方是青涩的，但这就是独立游戏的魅力所在。
所有文字游戏爱好者都不应该错过该作

Having a friend, that is in love with "Needy Streamer Overload", I too wanted a visual novel game i could call mine. AND MAN, it did not disappoint me yet in any way shape or form. I think i won this time.
The way the characters are written, the way the Jill is its own person, that we are not making desicions for her... The worldbuilding, the story... THE HUMOR.... man i like this game's humor so much... it is all so enticing
I really enjoyed the fact that you need to pay attention to the dialogs to get all the orders right. Like that one time when we hear a story of the making of the drink and the next day we get a character that orders this exact drink not by saying its name, not by referencing its description, but by this "fun fact". Argh it is all so cool

no hay idioma español, a pesar de que los que lo hicieron son venezolanos (y sacaron el juego en 2016, hace 10 años) solo tiene idioma ingles y otros dos idiomas asiáticos.

y aún así, ahí va, el mejor juego latinoamericano. Con alcohol y mujerzuelas.

excelente dialogo (si entendés inglés), con personajes interesantes y muy bien trabajados. El gameplay... es una novela gráfica, vas a tener que leer, te guste o no, pero el tener que hacer bebidas, poder elegir si hacerlas grandes para ganar más dinero o si ponerle más alcohol a las bebidas lo hace, por lo menos, interactivo.

Es un juego al que venís por la trama... y Dios que trama... incluso si el final me dio un poco que desear, el juego nunca hace de su existencia monótona.

El juego es bastante corto (menos de un mes en el calendario del juego, cada día tomando de media hora a una hora) y va a valer la pena si lo deseas jugar. Mientras te gusten las novelas graficas (y presionar el botón izquierdo del mouse MUCHO) vas a estar bien.

удивлена, что песни из моего плейлиста настолько шикарно моментами подходили под ситуации в игре.[spoiler]тот же 9 день, когда джилл чувствовала себя куском говна из-за смерти бывшей,[/spoiler]в этот момент у меня играла променадная (порез на собаке), а официантка от папиного олимпоса теперь в общем асоциируется у меня с вальгаллой.
ост тоже приятен, подходит под саму игру и хорошо передает ее вайбы.
что могу сказать.. прекрасная игра. прекрасный, глубокий сюжет (хотя я еще полностью ее не прошла..), куча отсылок на другие проекты, что я обожаю, большое разнообразие персонажей, с которыми приходится взаимодействовать, приятная, живая протагонистка и второстепенные персонажи, с которыми не в тяготь переживать все их жизненные проблемы и эмоции.
и сам геймплей вообще не запарный, что мне очень по душе.
конечно, временами надоедает эта рутина из поиска рецепта и замешивания напитков, но лучше уж рутина, которая запоминается со временем, чем куча мини-игор и головоломок, которые сделаны просто чтоб быть, и насолить таким, как я. хотя некоторые загадки заставили меня залезть в инет за разгадками или чутка подумать, но это отклонение от нормы скорее похвально.
в общем, бред несу, но игра прекрасная и стоила каждой копейки. в душу мне припала.
буду за ней скучать. даже через 5 минут, когда спать пойду, ибо пишу это в пол четвертого утра.

My girlfriend convinced me to buy this game months ago, and initially I bounced off it, not finding the initial gameplay loop all that enjoyable, wishing I could just get back to talking to the characters. I gave it another shot a week or so ago, and have now mostly completed the game (just got a few more achievements to hunt). It's a believable cyberpunk world, where the characters aren't big action heros trying to bring down the system, but are instead just trying to live their lives in an increasingly hostile world. Alma being a fairly accurate depiction of a hacker is also a refreshing touch, since sci-fi stories tend to treat hackers as effectively wizards with magic typing powers. I like the endings that I've gotten, the mystery of Anna is interesting to me, and I adored the soundtrack.

I know Dorothy is a controversial character, and I get why. Personally, though, I found her to be pretty well handled. Her choice of career is always portrayed as just that, a choice, one that she made for herself. Sex worker characters are often depicted as necessarily exploited or otherwise greedy. Dorothy being clear about this being a path she chose for herself, and could decide to stop at any time, was a really refreshing sight to see. Sure, there's the whole "she looks like a child" thing, but honestly, I found it to be an interesting transhumanist narrative about one's control over their own appearance and perception.

The game did appear to struggle a bit in places, some of the cutscenes towards the end ran quite slowly, more so than I felt they should have. That may be an intentional part of the game, though, I'm not certain.

Now, I'm going to keep playing this game but I first want to write a review for a few reasons.
This game has the most comfortable, eye-easy, and pretty style I've ever seen.
The drink mixing mechanic is awesome.
The dialogue is usually lighthearted and funny.
And, the game has a really cool take on the future.

I bought this game because I'm a big VrChat guy, and there's a world in VrChat called the midnight bar, which is a 1-1 recreation of the bad in this game, and even features the same drinks and drink mixing.
I used to play the hell out of that world, I probably have like 140 or so hours in it. I heard it what based on this game and put this on my wishlist.
Caught it on sale while I have some money laying around so might as well buy it.
I immediately loved the dialogue and found the way that the UI looks and works is pretty neat. I then felt the need to wright this review.

游戏是委内瑞拉的几个宅男开发出来的，我知道委内瑞拉也是因为这个游戏，从那儿的动荡能走出赛博朋克酒保行动这朵奇葩真是不容易。
游戏很平淡，你是一个赛博朋克世界观下的酒保，活在一个动荡不安的世界，酒吧几条街外就可能发生黑帮枪战，而你听到老板告知才知道今天不用上班了，每天晚上准点上班，为各种各样的个人提供调酒服务，偶尔在客人要求酒精饮料时猛灌酒精看看他们不同反应，每月盘算着房租电费，“调制美酒，改变人生”是你的工作开场白。
我很喜欢这个游戏，曾经安利给我的一个朋友，他玩了0.8个小时说太无聊玩不下去了，而那时他刚玩完毁灭战士还是哈迪斯，真是可惜，那时我刚看了速度与激情9，记住了“你不能强迫别人喜欢你”这句话，唉，至少他看到了名场面“人不能操狗，至少不该操”，游戏也确实是个平静的游戏，在开头会建议你带上零食边吃边玩。我和它倒挺有缘的，先是看到了相关视频，然后在app看到并在手机体验完了全程，最后在steam看到补票并安利。
我很喜欢这个游戏，感觉它确实有一部分融入了我的人生，像是“人不能...至少不应该..."对于道德底线考量的句式，像是一个像哲学问题的讨论，以及对性爱机器人的向往，我觉得性爱机器人和月球上没有下垂的乳房的言论一样，最能激起人对于科技发展的幻想，过了六年，看到人工智能有了飞速的发展，我为后来人能体验到科技的发展气的牙痒痒，往好的方面想，也许我老年也能赶上时代的热忱呢？[spoiler]希望ta不会事后发出像是在吃放了有一会的软趴趴薯条之类的评论（笑）[/spoiler] 此外，那个哲学一样的讨论我记得很深，多萝茜问主角：如果她只是游戏里的人物，被透过屏幕的眼睛看着，按照预定的剧本表演，连想法都是别人编纂好的该怎么办？[spoiler]笑死，说的和现实一样[/spoiler]主角想了一会后安慰多萝茜：这就像读一本书，我不是主角，但我依旧会被故事的情节经历感动。大概是这样，“我”经历的也许不是我想要的人生，但我仍然会努力过好这一生。

超级好看的故事和极具魅力（什么类型的魅力？）的角色，谁会不喜欢以旁观者的角度观察别人的生活呢。
游戏性：20/40。作为视觉小说类的游戏，别指望它有什么游戏性了，除非你觉得把别人灌醉狠狠赚大米很有游戏性。
独创性：18/20。我不能保证它是这类游戏（为顾客服务、从中听故事）的绝对鼻祖，但至少是这类游戏中最知名、最先被玩家广泛游玩的一个游戏，那我只能把这类游戏的“创始者”这一头衔颁给它了。
声音：8/10。游戏自带的音乐就很有赛博朋克风格了，就算单纯作为音乐播放器，我也很乐意。仿佛我就在这样一个小酒吧中。
画面：8/10。像素风的画面并不简陋，角色立绘、动作很生动（且美丽，且各种xp都有，任你选择），Jill的小家也很温馨（更何况还有一只猫呢）。
情节塑造：15/15。作为以剧情为主的游戏，人物塑造和故事情节成为了它的主要玩点，而在这方面，它做的是无可指摘的。尤其是，人物塑造和情节都非常符合赛博朋克-反乌托邦的社会背景，我会感觉真是存在这样一个世界/国家，而不是普通国家的套皮。
杂项：5/5。它带给我一种奇妙的感觉，一种...独立游戏精神？一种异国知心朋友的感觉。而且没有乱七八糟的dlc。
总评：74/100。喜欢看剧情的无脑买。

nothing really happens in this game, it's just a bunch of people talking about made up politics but in a really uninvested way
it feels like one of those "feel good" games. There is a bit of drama, but it is so out of the way and unfocused on, and resolved quite easily. It feels very unimportant

The main characters also feel a bit one dimensional. They're all just kinda okayish people with boring personalities and jobs. I mean, I guess it's realistic. But it feels very boring to play. I beat it and kinda felt nothing.

Очень хорошая визуальная новелла с очень хорошим сюжетом. Очень понравилось постепенное раскрытие главного героя - по началу мы практически ничего не знаем о Джилл кроме её имени, её внешности, и всяких мелких деталей (например, то что ей не нравится когда её зовут Джулианной). Однако главная героиня постепенно раскрывается, мы узнаём всё больше деталей её жизни и её прошлого. Отдельный плюс за хороший дизайн игры, а также атмосферу.

作为一个赛博朋克作品，没有脑子里随时夺走你性命的芯片，没有对公司的深仇大恨，作为主角的jill也没什么特殊身份，只是一间普通酒吧的调酒师，游戏的内容也只是作为调酒师倾听顾客的故事，为他们端上他们想要的酒水
简单的玩法并不意味着它是一个糟糕的游戏，相反，它相当出色，正如主角jill常说的调制饮料，改变人生，作为调酒师你不能帮助他们解决什么问题，但你可以帮助他们做出选择，在他们陷入自责或是失落情绪时给他们上一杯他们需要的饮料，给予他们支持
VA11的玩法并不优秀，但他非常适合VA11的背景，和剧情的配合堪称完美优秀的人物也是VA11精彩的部分，游戏中大部分角色都有相当完整饱满的人物形象，金发眼镜娘黑客Alma，喜欢性工作的lilimDorothy，神秘的酒店老板Dana和员工Gill，每个人物都有自己的背景故事，但并不是每个人都会分享完自己的故事，包括Jill在内的每一个人都有自己的烦恼，对我而言，比起Jill，主角更像是酒吧调酒师这个位置本身，在这个位置上倾听客人的烦恼，在常客说出老样子的时候能不假思索的把他要的饮料端给他，在顾客失落的时候用他们喜欢的饮料安慰他们，这些体验是独属于VA11的
游戏的剧情我认为相当超前，每当我看到手机论坛里人们争论着二次元游戏都是垃圾，新闻里扯着阴谋论都能感受到一种熟悉感，游戏的剧情用各种支离破碎的信息一点点构筑出这座赛博朋克城市，每个人都有自己的秘密，但何必与每一个人知根知底呢，通过交流中支离破碎的信息拼凑出这位顾客的性格也是VA11的魅力所在

VA-11 Hall-A酒吧就像城市中一块温暖却又有些孤独的角落。每个走进来喝酒的人都带着自己的故事：有人迷茫，有人逞强，也有人只是想找个地方安静地说说话。玩家扮演的Jill不过是一名普通的调酒师，在一杯杯酒之间慢慢听见他们的生活。

游戏没有轰轰烈烈的主线剧情，但那些零碎的夜晚、随意的对话，却会在不知不觉间让人对这座城市、对这些来来往往的人产生真实的牵挂。随着故事一点点展开，玩家也会在心里为这座城市涂上不同的色彩，对生活在这里的人们产生越来越深的好奇与惦念。

当故事结束、屏幕暗下来的时候，心里却好像还停留在那个深夜的酒吧里。仿佛只要再推开门一次，还会有新的客人坐到吧台前，说起还没讲完的故事......

其实核心玩法简单到近乎机械，对照配方拖拽、混合、调整比例，再决定是否加冰或陈化。我麻木点击鼠标，默默为我的顾客们加过量的酒精，然后听他们讲那些没头没尾的丧气话。偶尔走神，偶尔八卦，总是记不住人名。

直到二周目递上不同的酒时逐渐意识到，游戏构建了一种微妙的叙事机制：饮料本身就是对话的分支。顾客喝到不同的酒，会改变情绪、话题甚至人生的倾向。“调酒”也是一种叙事节奏，一种合成器音效。我在电台反复放着every day is night和snowfall，一边“改变饮品，调制人生”。

于是酒吧成为一个叙事过滤器。外面的世界始终存在：企业垄断、义体改造、社会分层、媒体操控——这些典型的赛博朋克元素不断从顾客的闲聊中渗出。但它们永远停留在“谈话”层面。没有末日降临，没有拯救世界，生活依然只有讨厌的上班、下个月的房租水电和始终打不过去的小游戏（唉怎么游戏里也打不过小游戏啊）。

在这里好像说什么都不奇怪，什么离奇经历都不算另类。或许VA-11 HALL-A最迷人的地方也恰恰在于它的“无关紧要”。酒吧并不能解决任何问题，它更像是一种暂停键。不同的面孔在这里停下来，说几句话，喝一杯，然后再回到那个混乱的世界。每个人都带着一点现实的疲惫和一点荒诞的幽默。空气中回荡着玻璃杯碰撞的声音，还有那些在微醺状态下说出的、半真半假的人生。

谢谢米饭老师投喂的赛博热红酒。漫漫长夜，春宵苦短，请为我倒一杯sugar rush，酒精用故事来兑换。

История о нелёгком будущем, и о тех кто в нём проживает. Рассказы посетителей реалистичные, каждый говорит то, о чём думает или переживает после стакана кармотрина. Через бар проходят люди, уставшие от суеты работы и городского шума. Можно поверить, что подобные персонажи существуют и в реальности. Геймплей состоит из симулятора работы бармена, ещё ни в одной игре, подобного я не видел.

Una VN con mucha personalidad y con una gran ambientacion Cyberpunk, no la considero de mis favoritas pero me encanto platinarla y leer cada una de las historias de las diferentes y entrañables personalidades que llegaban al bar "Vallhalla". Mi favorita fue la linda Lillim Dorothy!. Muy buen juego si buscas relajarte y conocer la vida de una bartender a la que no le gusta que le digan por su nombre. Where to begin, well, for starters, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love the art and character design in this game. Everybody has so much emotion and depth. I originally bought this game because I had a rough day and really needed a game to cool off with. I played a bit each night and It was great. Might play again some time in the future to see the plot lines I missed. Highly recommend.

I have... mixed feelings about Va11 Hall-A. Both positive and negative. But despite that, I consider it one of my favourite games (among visual novels); I’m very fond of it. Along with Katawa Shoujo, it was the second visual novel I ever played (a pirated copy, of course). And these two titles are what made me grow so fond of the genre. If you’re a fan of visual novels, you might like Va11 Hall-A, or you might not. So I can only say one thing: if you get the chance to play it, do it. It’s a unique experience that, at least, I haven’t found in any other game.

I wish I reviewed it at the time of finishing/playing. This game is a wonderous and marvelous treat.

Its exactly what it says it is, and isn't. Its cyberpunk bartending action. Its a recipe of words that might leave you astounded or questioning, which is a good thing. You want to be intrigued in life. It'll go down in my head as something completely original in its love for its own story telling and crafted character and personality in itself. Its just something you have to sit back and enjoy.

I don't want to or really can't say much that wouldn't be spoilery, or really more so, I'm not sure what there is to say. The game has literal life to it, its the kind of thing you have to experience to get and its worth it. I'm looking forward to more thats inspired by this level of story telling and dialogue that lets you feel like you lived in its world for the moment you got to slip in and experience it. Its an "11/10" to me.

Gameplay? You're a bartender. But thats not really important. Whats important is the people you interact with (almost like real life, right?)

Its charming at every pick and turn and makes you wonder what comes next, as you look forward to each interaction and you gain interest in the story being told to you, and the story being told around you by everything that happens. It has soul.

Its goated. If my merch closet wasn't filled with touhou figurines and model kits I'd buy a Jill Stingray nendoroid or figurine in an instant.

The one thing I love about certain video games is when they open themselves up and allow you to step inside their world. And VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action is no different. With an emotional story about what it means to truly be human and having that sense of empathy and understanding for others, under a bleak cyber-dystopia disguised with bright, alluring neon lights, this game never falters in showing how brilliant it rightfully shows itself to be. From stunning pixel-art to be in awe of to a fantastically composed futuristic OST, VA-11 Hall-A comes together to make an unforgettable, magnificent journey topped off with a cozy atmosphere and gameplay loop that never becomes dull.

As someone who has 100%'d this game twice now, I would give the world to experience it for the first time all those years ago. But even still, every playthrough is still so relaxing and comforting in every fantastic way that there's hardly a difference. Even if we never get N1RV-Anna, the long-awaited sequel to this incredible work, VA-11 Hall-A is and always will stand on its own as one of the best visual novels the 21st century has to offer. $15 is but a small price to pay for the wonderful memories you will make playing this game!

玩了一个小时……到第二天下班就坚持不住了。
首先我觉得文本有点男到不适了，尤其是那个萝莉外形的性爱仿生人，明白是想体现赛朋的物化剥削调调以及未来科幻世界的性开放和流动感，但是卧槽啊感觉景观化到猎奇程度了，看得好痛苦（也许这就是赛博朋克.jpg），其次玩法超级傻超级无聊，对话又散又轻还没有速度设置，只能狂按空格，手累……然后就是对我而言画面很杀眼睛，音乐很杀耳朵，加起来就是又累又吵又炫玩得力竭。
最后世界观构架真的非常，自说自话中二轻小说……通过堆砌一些不加解释的量子纠缠级名词来达到一种魂归天外的深邃效果，天啊.jpg
