Суть: вы — один из «несчастных космонавтов» на полуразвалившейся станции. Ваша задача — починить всё, что сломалось, и улететь домой. Но есть проблема: среди вас завёлся паразит — инопланетянин, который может маскироваться под человека, ломать оборудование и устраивать хаос. Ваша задача — вычислить его, пока он не перебил всех.
Что понравилось (и заставило меня кричать в чат «Это был ты?!»):
Асимметрия на максимум. Быть обычным космонавтом — это бегать с инструментами, чинить провода и паниковать при каждом скрипе. А быть монстром — это прятаться в вентиляции, пугать людей шорохами и внезапно выпрыгивать с когтями. Оба режима — два разных геймплея в одной игре!
Голосовой чат — главный инструмент. Вы не просто стреляете — вы общаетесь. Подозреваете коллегу? Допрашиваете: «Ты зачем пошёл в тёмный коридор?!» Он оправдывается: «Я искал отвёртку!» А вы ему: «У тебя в руках огнетушитель!»
Хаос и паника. Когда гаснет свет и кто‑то орёт в микрофон: «Он в вентиляции!», начинается чистое безумие. Все бегут в разные стороны, роняют инструменты, застревают в дверях. Это не выживание — это комедия положений.
Механика заражения. Монстр может «заразить» одного из космонавтов, превратив его в союзника. И вот уже двое подозрительных типов куда‑то вместе идут… А вы не знаете, кто из них предатель!
Забавные ситуации. Один раз я спрятался в шкаф, монстр меня нашёл и вытащил. Я в панике схватил швабру и начал ею махать. И… убил монстра! Швабра — новое секретное оружие.
Простые, но милые визуалы. Графика не Crysis, но мультяшный стиль добавляет игре лёгкости. Монстр выглядит пугающе, но не настолько, чтобы вы бросили геймпад и убежали.
Короткие матчи. Раунд длится 10–15 минут — идеально, чтобы сыграть пару партий перед сном (или чтобы поссориться с друзьями и пойти спать пораньше).
С чем пришлось столкнуться (и сказать «Да вы издеваетесь?!»):
«Невиновные» слишком доверчивы. Иногда команда дружно игнорирует очевидные улики: «Да он просто стоит в тёмном коридоре с окровавленными руками, что такого?»
Монстр‑невидимка. Бывает, паразит так хорошо прячется, что его замечают, только когда он уже всех перебил. А до этого все дружно чинят дверь номер 42.
Баги и лаги. Пару раз я застрял в текстуре, а монстр прошёл сквозь стену. Ощущение, будто игра решила: «А давайте усложним!»
Зависимость от чата. Если кто‑то молчит или играет без микрофона, это сильно мешает. Вы кричите: «Осторожнее, он рядом!», а он спокойно идёт прямо в лапы чудовища.
Несбалансированность. Опытные монстры могут вынести всех за минуту. Новички‑космонавты иногда бегают кругами и ничего не чинят. Нужен баланс навыков в команде.
Однотипные карты. Локации интересные, но их мало. Через 10 матчей начинаешь запоминать каждый вентиляционный ход. Хочется больше разнообразия.
The game is very good, it looks like Among Us, in 3D, and is very interesting and realistic. I played it with my friend.

pysics can get whack, comunity is weak and for the last straw it has been confirmed that mod support will never get developed and most manual moders just do it to get a leg up on everyone else TBH.

Long dead as far as the playerbase goes, but it's a fairly good FPS social deduction game from what I played. You're gonna need to scrounge together a few friends to play it nowadays though.
It's also worth noting that this is one of a few indie titles that New Blood Interactive published during this period, including Ultrakill.

It's a great game to play with friends. sadly if you want to play with randos your out of luck cuz the game has been dead for years. but if you gather 4 or more people its a lot of fun. really sucks that among us shamelessly ripped off this game and got way more popular. because this game is just so so much better
i love this game and always have its fun engaging and its among us but with guns and 100 times funner no doubt the only issue with it now is that nobody palays anymore even though this game is a masterpiece and i think it deserves more than it has right now

I used to play when it had like 40-50k players. slowly the players left. now when i see 8 people online i become happy cuz even thats too much these days. what happened man. this is way better than among us. but this game dies while among us lives. ı dont hate among us or anything but still this game was more fun if you ask me.

Nie za fajna. Trafiamy na nudne mapy, cały czas nam gada pod uchem jakiś ziomek, i to w irytujący sposób, gra się ciągnie, nudzi i jest sztywna, nic wielkiego. Jeszcze dali jakieś bramy pod którymi trzeba stać i czekać aż się otworzą. Optymalizacja też lipna. Ja osobiście nie polecam

The reason (and only reason) I have only five hours on this game and yet I recommend this game is because there seems to be no players on this fantastic game, I know its a skill issue that i have no friends but still. My only harp about it is that the story isn't the best (but its a spot the imposter game not Titanfall 2 so what do you expect). All in all this game is great, just a small player count and i hope you get it so i have the hope of actually playing the Shapeshifter mode... Plus its free so get it >:[

Unfortunate Spacemen is basically “The Thing,” but everyone in the room is armed, suspicious, and absolutely convinced they’re the main character in a true crime documentary.
One minute you’re a hard-working space janitor doing honest labor like “fixing a panel” and “not dying,” and the next minute your buddy Kyle is doing parkour on the ceiling, hissing like a discounted Xenomorph, and insisting he’s “totally normal bro.” Sure, Kyle. Sure.
The gameplay loop is simple:
1. Spawn in with optimism.
2. Hear a weird noise behind you.
3. Turn around and see your teammate holding a shotgun *way too confidently*.
4. Get accused of being the monster because you blinked suspiciously.
5. Die anyway.
The real monster isn’t the alien. It’s the group chat energy. I have watched grown adults conduct full courtroom trials over who “looked kinda sus near the oxygen.” Evidence? Vibes. Verdict? Execution by firing squad. Justice? Optional.
Also, the jump scares are elite. Not because of the monster—because you’ll round a corner and your teammate will panic-fire a full magazine into your kneecaps out of love and fear.
**Pros:**
* Peak paranoia simulator
* Funny, chaotic social deduction
* Makes you distrust your closest friends (as intended)
**Cons:**
* I now flinch when someone says “Come here, I wanna show you something”
* Too immersive: I have started accusing my microwave of venting

It is one of mankind's greatest blunders that Among Us achieved a momentary global spotlight and permanent steady playerbase while this game got 15 minutes of fame before it withered and died.

Even with the low amount of players, you can still get golden moments with small public servers that make it worth having it installed still. Overall amazing game, and you can even play it solo with some of the other gamemodes such as story and survival. 10/10 would recommend playing with a group of 4 or morepeople

O jogo em si é bacana, mas a comunidade que joga nem tanto. Todas partidas que joguei, algum jogador dava um tiro em mim (sendo inocente), e todo mundo começava a atirar junto, sem nenhum motivo, e no fim não conseguia jogar quase nada da partida.

Атмосфера паранойи нагнетается отлично, а неожиданные превращения предателей и жуткий дизайн монстров добавляют адреналина.
Механики стрельбы приятные, хоть и не самые отточенные. Но это компенсируется разнообразием оружия и возможностью использовать окружение в свою пользу. Отдельно стоит отметить систему прокачки, позволяющую кастомизировать персонажа и подстраивать его под свой стиль игры.
Однако, игра страдает от нехватки активных игроков. Найти полную лобби иногда бывает проблематично, что негативно сказывается на впечатлении от игрового процесса. Если у вас есть друзья для совместной игры, 'Unfortunate Spacemen' может стать настоящим хитом. Но без компании впечатления могут быть смазаны. В целом, игра предлагает уникальный опыт и является хорошим представителем жанра социальных дедукций в космическом сеттинге.

I played this game a lot a few years back and I genuinely thought it was great. Much better than Among Us, I decided to come back to it a few weeks ago and am sad to see virtually nobody playing the game. I don't really understand because for a multiplayer game it's fantastic, but if no players are playing then it's just no fun
