Super Street Fighter IV takes place at the same time as SF4, several months after the events of Street Fighter II (thus is chronologically set between Street Fighter II and III). After M. Bison's survival following his encounter with Akuma, the S.I.N. corporation began another fighting tournament in order to draw out the most powerful fighters on Earth to complete the BLECE project. Each character has their own reasons for entering this tournament, but S.I.N.'s real desire is to lure Ryu to them in order to analyze the Satsui no Hadō, believed to be the last piece of data needed to complete BLECE.

全44キャラクターという圧巻のボリュームに加え、ウルコン（ウルトラコンボ）のダブル選択や、レッドセービングといった最終調整が施されている。
ストVの「Vシステム」や、スト6の「ドライブシステム」といった、現代の複雑化・高度化した共通システムが導入される前の作品であり、純粋な「技の振り合い（差し合い）」と一発逆転の必殺技という、非常に直感的で分かりやすい駆け引きが最大の魅力だ。

最近の格ゲーをやっていて、「管理するゲージが多すぎる」「攻守のシステムが複雑すぎて頭がパンクする」と疲れてしまった人にこそ、今あえてウルストIVを触ってみてほしい。
本作は良い意味で「めんどくさくない」のだ。共通システムで頭に叩き込むべきは、実質「セービングアタック（からのダッシュキャンセル）」くらいのもの。あとは、飛んで、落として、地上で差し返すという、ストリートファイターの超基本的な「じゃんけん」に集約されている。

この直感的な土台があるからこそ、プレイヤー同士の純粋な読み合いや、間合い管理のヒリヒリした熱さが際立っている。「相手の行動を読んで、デカい技を叩き込む」という格ゲーの原点とも言える面白さが、極限まで洗練されたマスターピースだ。

（※ただし、本作特有の「1フレーム目押しコンボ」や「辻入力」といった操作面での変態的なシビアさはあるので、そこはマジでめんどくさいのもご愛嬌ｗ）

・圧倒的なカタルシスを生む一発逆転の「ウルトラコンボ」。カメラワークや演出のド派手さは今見ても最高に気持ちいい。

【BAD】
・[b]異常にシビアなコンボ入力。[/b] 「1F目押し」など、現代の先行入力が効く親切な格ゲーに慣れきった身体だと、基本的なコンボを完走するだけで指が折れそうになる。
・[b]オンラインの過疎化。[/b] さすがに発売から年月が経っているため、野良のランクマッチで同レベルの相手を見つけるのは困難。Discordのコミュニティなどで対戦相手を探す工夫が必要。

Street fighters ex 3 was my favorite game growing up it got me into street fighters 2. which then lead to me getting sf4 which then made me want to play sf 3rd strike and that game got me so hyped I sprung for the arcade controls and bought one just to get good. So this game will always be one of my favorites especially because they made it available on the phones as well.

Ultra versiyonu olduğu için karakter seçme sınırı yok. Grafikler bugün için bile bence gayet iyi. Ki arcade kafasını sevenlerin oyunu olduğu için zaten sorun değil. Biri daha yorumlarda yazmış eskiden, Mortal Kombat'dan daha zor normal seviyesi. Ancak belirli bir hikaye ya da turnuva modu yok. Arcade kısmında döve döve ilerliyorsunuz. Versus kısmı tek maç, challange kısmı ise antrenman modunun arcade gibi sırayla giden versiyonu. Yani online mod veya başka biriyle karşılıklı oynamayacaksanız öyle çok uzun saatler götürmez. Benim gibi tek tabanca takılan biriyseniz, ucuzlukta alır, çok yer kaplamadığı için arada arcade mod da oynar kaparsınız.

Una obra maestra de los fighting games que se mantiene muy bien al paso del tiempo (a diferencia del V)

Perfecta opcion para entrar en este género , si tienes una PC de bajos recursos y lo compras en buen descuento(casi siempre lo está) tendrías frente a un juego muy rico en todo sentido.

Horas y horas de juego debido a su elevado techo y curva de aprendizaje, piensalo 10 veces antes de entrar al online xD

Curto jogos de luta, mas confesso que nunca fui chegado na franquia Street Fighter; este aqui foi o único que peguei para jogar e conhecer de verdade (já testei outros da franquia por alguns minutos). E confesso também que foi o jogo de luta mais difícil de me adaptar com os controles.

Toda a estética do jogo é bem interessante, trazendo gráficos que parecem tinta em um quadro. Jogabilidade padrão em 2D com cenários detalhados e bem bonitos. As arenas são ricas em detalhes e NPCs que reagem à luta. Em estágios como o Mad Gear Hideout, você vê o ambiente mudar entre os rounds (luzes apagando, pessoas saindo).

Não sei se é uma boa porta de entrada para a franquia, já que foi o único que peguei para jogar de verdade. Eu curti a experiência e passei muita raiva tentando aprender combos kkkkk. Talvez jogue uma hora ou outra, mas por enquanto é isso. Um ponto muito positivo dele é que não precisei ficar comprando pacotes para obter os demais personagens, as DLCs são todas de cosméticos... em um mundo onde a maioria dos jogos de luta estão vindo picotados e cobrando valores extras para liberar todos os personagens, não preciso nem falar o quanto é agradável jogar um que não tenha essa pilantragem.

On February 3rd 2026 Capcom released an update that removed Denuvo from RE4 Remake, a DRM which requires a costant internet connection, and replaced it with the Enigma Protector. This DRM is supposed to prevent "cheating" (any kind of modding of the game) and it's russian developed.
Tested by the Youtube channel Digital Foundry in the video "Resident Evil 4 PC: Is New DRM Impacting Game Performance?" has been found that the Enigma Protector DRM causes an average of -10% in framerate drops, with dips of -40% in certain scenarios, way more than the original Denuvo DRM.

This is not the first time that Capcom decided to put Enigma in some of their older games: RE Revelations suffered major backlash from customers because of the major dip in perfomance, so much so they had to remove Enigma from the game for good and recently they released the original Dino Crisis series on Steam, a quick scouring of the forum will reveal a lot of customers unhappy with the perfomance of said games. Why a 25 years old single player game that should run flawlessly on a phone had to be "protected" against "cheating" is everyone's guess, especially when you realise that a GOG version of both games was already available, without the Enigma Protector and without issues.

Here's my grievances with it:

-Retroactively degrading perfomances of a game or a product is an unethical and fundamentally anti-consumer practice that should be illegal. Imagine your car having less hp out of nowhere because the car company decided to update the software that way

-Capcom degraded the game for no reasons at all, Enigma Protector doesn't prevent cheats or mods in any capable way and it's openly mocked by the mod communities

-All Capcom's game that have been "protected" by Enigma suffered of significant perfomance loss and the DRM can be easily removed by the cracking scene. The customer is therefore presented with this funny scenario: would you rather download the game for free or pay money for a degraded version that runs worst than the pirated copy?

-There's a very likely possibility that in future all Capcom's games will eventually incorporate the Enigma DRM years after launch, the system that you used to play them could eventually not being capable of the same perfomance as before, forcing some to spend money on very costly upgrades (due to the AI craze)

-The DRM is russian developed, profits from the company are most likely to be used in the ongoing russian invasion of Ukraine. This is not only unethical per-se but raises security questions for all the countries where the governments are actively funding the ukranian defense: Russia is well known to use cyber warfare against its enemies, I personally don't want anything russian developed in my system

-Enigma Protector devs in the past have behaved very unprofessionally, mocking and insulting whoever questioned the validity of their practices and their work, raising more than one red flag on the true purpose of their work and their true intent

I don't know who and why at Capcom signed a contract for this to happen but they clearly got scammed and it's time for them cope with it. I will leave a negative review on all my Capcom products and maybe I will revert them if they abandon Enigma altogether. Just maybe though, I'm kind of fed up on AAA publishers malpractices.

The all-time goat of fighting games. This game came out when it seemed like fighting games were pretty much completely over and doomed to be a sideline genre nobody gives a %#@$ about.

This is hands down the most difficult, competitive, and fair fighting game to learn and see success in of all time. (Which is insane because there's about 40 playable characters)
While I've had hundreds of hours of fun just trying to do moves I think look cool in tough situations against my friends in goofy matches, this is where I really learned to fight without holding back. This game is where I learned how to go into something that seemed impossible and come out on top. There is nothing that has built as much character for me as a player/fighter/competitive person in general than to come to Ranked in Ultra Street Fighter 4 - face to face with a 4000+ pp/bp neckbeard player and double perfect them as a low level underdog Cody. (You can check the screenshots on my profile for proof of the moment)
There is no fighting game on the market today like this game. There is no hope for something this amazing in the genre at all. It's hard to really say, but this game was probably the best esport there ever was as well. There's nothing like this. Some could come close to touching its pvp glory. But this is it. The highest point there ever was. It's still worth getting on and training and having fun with friends or whatever apparition of a better time lies in the ranked lobbies... But you really just had to be there...

Only 3 hours on this game (as of writing this review), but it is a solid game. Learning curve is definitely there, but if you get into it (which I have not), it could be a whole lot more fun.

If you're intrigued, I've got some things to expect when buying this game.

1: This game has a roster of around 43-46 characters, all for free. (Have fun learning them all)

2. Complicated controls like the Z motion. (quarter circles, half circles, z motions, multiple button presses, this game is NOWHERE near the simplicity of Dragon Ball FighterZ's simple controls.

3. No dedicated story mode. (It's got an arcade mode with different routes for different characters, but that's the closest you'll get to a story)

4. Light on your CPU/GPU and storage. (I'm playing this game on an N100 processor, and even with mid-high settings, I get an average of 80 frames.)

I got it for 3 dollars during a sale, would buy again. Overall, if you're just looking for a fighting game to play and invest in, I'd recommend this (or Guilty Gear, it's got an actual story.)

This is, objectively, the worst of the modern fighting games (of the adequate ones, not the ultra-trash). Objectively, it is also the worst Street Fighter besides 1 but no one gives a sh-t about 1 so that makes this the worst Street Fighter too.

Disgusting to look at, awful to play (especially after playing MvC and Capcom Fighting Collections), a terrible roster somehow (yes despite all the legends)... perhaps the most overrated fighting game of all time.

Capcom really overcooked a turd with this one. I only bought it because I collect (adequate) fighting games and I'd still like to refund it.
